Speaker 1 (00:00):
Time for Nina's what's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Have you ever slept through a food delivery?

Speaker 3 (00:03):
It's actually a lot when I was making the delivery, No,
like when you.

Speaker 4 (00:08):
Like made the delivery and then it was supposed to
come to you but you fell asleep.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah, yeah before.

Speaker 5 (00:12):
It happens a.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Lot more than you think.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
So much so that one company is turning that nightmare
into a dream for college students, specifically.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Whoa while in college students.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I feel like that's where we're going to start and
maybe there'll be hope for other.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Like I'm mad about the people that fall asleep after
things are irresponsible?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Is that what we are?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I've done it too.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It's all good.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
But I'll tell you what company that is in just
a second.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
But first, K Pop Demon Hunter fans, this is exciting
because they're bringing the singalong movie back to AMC, Regal
and Cinema theaters for Halloween weekend. It did so well
in July when they had dropped it there that everybody
wants to see it again.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
So it's a Netflix movie.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
As you know K Pop Demon Hunters, but they have
teamed up with the big movie people so they can
have a big party and have everybody come and sing
along and the soundtrack is so sick. But I think
it's really cute for Halloween weekend because there's a lot
of kids that are dressing up, and maybe not just
even kids, people are dressing up like the characters. So
if you go, I feel like you have to dress

(01:09):
up because it's even cuter.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
So I bring it in theaters. Yeah, oh it's kind
of cool.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Why no, wait, does that mean fine?

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I don't just go watch it on Netflix?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Well you can, but it's a different experience when you're
in the theater.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
Fully, I agree, I think that it did. Like the
movie theaters are meant for great movies, But why do
you spend the money?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
But it's a sing along?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
So dude, basically you're going to a party where you
get to sing along to the soundtrack, watch the show,
and hang out with other.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
People that like it. Too funny.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
They can't get people in the movie theaters anymore, so
now like every movie releases, like you sing along to it,
Taylor Swift movie, you can sing to it and its
weird you could sing to it.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Yeah, they need to pay like fifteen bucks just to.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Go, says the girl who went to the Taylor Swift movie.
That's fair but got me good.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
To your point, Jubil, You're right, and Netflix and AMC
are starting to see possibilities in the future for them
to team up to bring Netflix movies to the big screen.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
Wait, that's crazy, because I just a something that they would. Originally,
the people who made Stranger Things wanted to release like
the last episode in the movie theaters because it's going
to be like almost three hours. But Netflix said no,
Oh really funny they said no, like they want to
keep it on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I saw it, Yes, Dana.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
I was like, thank you because like then I can
watch from home. But although I love a good movie
theater so well, I think it would just be an
added value.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Actually, to that point that you're talking about with Stranger Things,
the Dunver Brothers did so much research did you hear
about this? Before they came up with the idea for
the final episode of Stranger Things, And they went through
and watched all these different types of shows to decide
who had the best ending because they feel like so
many different Seriesly you hang eyes that and so they
did their homework.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
So hopefully they.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Did the most cop out thing in like Hollywood history
as they just made it somebody's dream, you know, they
just wake up at the end.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
They're like it was all just a dream.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
No, that would be the same feeling when you found out.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
There, like Wilight Way Pilot was a dream. Well the
fight scene like it didn't actually happen.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I don't know, yeah, yeah, I know what you're talking about. Yeah,
we don't remember that part.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah. I was upset that it was a dream too, right.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
And everyone in the theaters was like you like all
a big gasp and like people scream, yeah, and they
find it like the big fight scene at the end.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I don't remember.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
It wasn't really.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It was more like a premonish.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So the you know, the sweet Vampire's okay, if you've
never seen Twilight before, I recently watched all of them
because I've recently become a fan. Yeah, and when I
never thought I would ever watch them ever. But there's
this one vampire who's part of the Colon family, who's
like the main vampire family, and she's like the sweetest
vampire ever, Like she's like the nicest, cutest little vampire.
But she also has premonitions and so she's walking up

(03:46):
to like the really like mean vampire, and she gave
him a premonition of how they were just gonna get
murked by the Mullen Clan and all the werewolves if
they if they didn't back down. And then you thought
it was like real. You're like, oh my goodness, you're
watching it off. Yeah, and then then it comes back
and it's just her eyes and she's like, that's what's
gonna happen, stupid mess up. And then he was like,

(04:07):
all right, well we're going to leave and like to Italy,
it'd be weird.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
So it worked.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
That's exactly how it happened.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Also, that is exactly what and lastly real quick.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Grub Hub is the company that's offering college students snooze insurance,
So when you order your food from grub hub, you
can buy snooze insurance. So that way, if you sleep
through your order, you get fifteen dollars off to do
a do over meal in the.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Future, taking hammered and ordering food and then sleeping exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
So it's a student account. If you don't have one
of those, get it.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
But it's not just a student thing. I know, like,
why can't I do it.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You could have a student account. They don't know if
you're enrolled or not.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Huh. That's the ultimate hack.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
So get yourself some snooze insurance if you need it.
That is what's trending.
