Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for name is what's trending. Focus Friend is trending.
It's the number one downloaded free app right now. And
see if you understand exactly what it does. The idea
is to get you off of you know, the doom scroll.
It wants to give you something else to look at
while you're on your phone. And it's called Focus Friend.
And here is the guy that created a YouTuber hand
Green explaining what exactly it does.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's an app that installs a bean on your phone,
and the bean really wants to spend more time knitting.
My bean is a cat is named the Gummy Bean
because my real cast name Gummy Bear. Anyway, you can
focus for an amount of time and that will let
the bean make socks or scarves, and then you can
trade those socks for scarves in for more furniture in
the bean's room. It's called Focus Friend. It's on the
app Store. And obviously you want this, you.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Understand it raising a bean, you're raising kind of.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Kind of This kind arives me like my little farm game.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, does it like shut down everything else on your
phone while you're messing with the bean?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Probably? I guess you have to just like leave the
screen open, so you can let the bean go.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Your only you'rerying to mess with the bean and nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Else, right, focus you just your focus is entirely on
the bean.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
It's not what I thought this app was going to
be about.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
No either, I just didn't fully understand it. Yeah, but
if you're interested, it is the number one downloaded app. Again.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
It's cool.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
I focus friend, Yeah, I see pictures of the bean.
It's kind of cute, is it. It's cute little bean.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Focus on the bean. Don't take your eyes off the bean.
There is going to be a new smartphone that will
be able to block inappropriate pictures. So this is a
new tool that prevents kids or anybody else from getting
stuff that you don't want because you always talk about
all the time, like the unsolicited package, pigs and like
all that kind of stuff that you get. Now with
this new smartphone, it's going to be able to block

(01:44):
all of that stuff. But it looks like it's a
completely different phone. It's not a downloader, it's not an
app like you have to have a special phone.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I mean, if you think about it for your kids,
I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Know if I would want to give a kid like
a full iPhone. There's too many things that like, yeah,
they can go down like rabbit holes. There's too I
feel like worried something. So honestly, I would probably do
that because it's a separate phone.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I think it's a great phone for a kid. I
don't know what adults they want that, but maybe.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
No, I would consider a starter. Plus, they'd probably never
use it. They wouldn't be on their phone much because
all their friends have iPhones. You know, they wouldn't want
to take it out in front of the friends. So
you'd be like, you have a phone to contact me,
but good luck wanted to use it.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Actually, it's kind of genius because then they're gonna live exactly
remember when that happened. I know we're doing guys, we're
living just different. That's was trending.
