Time for Nina's What's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So some shows are more problematic than others, but this
one show is gaining a lot of attention because apparently
one million moms, this is an organization that raises flags,
is now upset with Wheel of Fortune.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
They're upset with wheel of fortune.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Of fortune, I'll tell you they raised flags in just
a second.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
They like to explain about stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, likes like or alarms or whatever.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
You want to ras Karens, a bunch of Karens, yeah,
or you know, just concern others.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
They want to be in control of everything that is
put out there for their.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Ear holes to listen to, not the ear holes, the
ear holes.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Before we get to that though, really quickly, do you
feel like you're more confident to do your job when
you are dressed appropriately And I don't mean like cute outfit,
I mean you are dressed with all of the tools
that you need.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
To do your job. Yes, I think so. Okay, I've always.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Done mourning, well, not always done morning radio. I did
other things in my life, but I've done morning radio
for a long time. And one thing that always drove
me nuts is when I'd see people that would show
up with just like like basically in their pajamas. Yeah,
because I'm like, you're performing, so you should at least
get up and shower and put on clothes and like,
you know, you don't have to like wear a suit.
I don't wear a suit to work, but at least
like be awake.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
You know, because I have been. I've seen what you're like.
I've never worked with any what No.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I used to work with one personh showed up in pajamas,
but for the most part, nobody showed up pajamas. But
I have seen people coming to do their morning show
in straight up like you could tell they just woke
up and they were in their pajamas, And I'm like,
how can you even get up to like to be entertaining.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
At that point, Victoria and I look at each other, going,
showed up in your pajamas, Well, your pajamas, Yeah, your
pajamas look better than most, I guess lately a sweat.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
One time, I spent the night in this studio and
I booked it out here at two o'clock in the morning.
So yeah, I've seen people straight up in radio halls
looking like they should have a teddy bear, like those
kind of pajamas, and I'm like, how do you are
you awake to do a show?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
And this is just radio.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
So imagine if you had a job that required tools it,
you'd probably be really sad. And Butterball knows this and
that's why they are launching their Thanksgiving Hosting pants Boy,
because if you are hosting Thanksgiving this year, you need
to be dressed right. And their pants come built in
with a feature that holds the thermometer pocket. There's a towel,
there's utensil, who pause, There's the Turkey talk line number

here we go, Turkey help me. That's cool, like super

Because one million Moms is really upset and they're thrown
fits with Wheel of Fortune. So here's some of the
things that have been coming out on Wheel of Fortune.
If you have not watched in a while. It's you
actually have it. Well, there these are little audio clips
of some of the stuff that's been popping out.

There is a pee, a group of pill pushers wheel.

Stuff like that has been happening on Wheel of Fortune.
And then they have started using this new phrase. Then
it's called what the fun They're like, oh, okay, it's fun. Wait,
so what's bad about all that?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
It's funny?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Apparently it's too expensively about it, and moms are upset
about it. This is a family show and they need
to rethink their presentation if they want all these one
million moms and they're one million babies to watch it.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Anybody's sitting down with their kids and watching Wheel of Fortune?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I don't know. Are kids watching Wheel of Fortune? I
want to now now that it looks like it looks.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Like it might actually be kind of entertaining. Now I
think they've done a good job with it. I might
actually watch it.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Hey, you imagine watching that with your grandma. That's hysterical.
I used to watch that with my grandma. Like if
somebody's saying, like pill pushers, I'd be done. I knew
what it means.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
She'd be like, I'm a pill pusher. I have to
take a bunch of weeks a grandma anyway, if you
feel the way that they do, and.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
You know, I don't know, like they're the only ones
that are watching Wheel of Fortune anymore. Like the demo
is not exactly kids. There's not a lot of teenagers
out there being like, dude, should we watch Wheel Fortune?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Six seven? Yeah?

Why did you say it like that?
