Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So, who's trying to see the new Wicked movie?

Speaker 1 (00:03):
I saw it already. Are you serious? Why would you
tell us that, Okay, watched Jonas Bros.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Videos. Dude, I don't know what's happened to me, but
now I'm like, I'm all on board of the Jonas
brothers after their Christmas Special Christmas movie.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You gotta watch it.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
If you haven't, I don't care if you're a dude
like who doesn't think that ever liked the Jonas Brothers
like me. Once you watch it, you'll fall in love
with those dudes.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
You'll get it. You'll be a Joel Oh that's what
it is. You're Joe Bros.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Victoria's played me a song from them the other day
and I was like, I still don't really like the
music that.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Much, but man, I just love the Joe Bros.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Tearing up.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah, but the Wicked movie did.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
It?

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Was a Nick Jonas was a touching song, Victoria, it was.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I don't know, it was cute. And actually this story
is gonna be really interesting. You will because you have
seen the movie, so you'll be able to say if
this is true, or not. But experts are saying that
before you see Wicked for Good that there are three
scenes from the original Wizard of Oz that you should
watch wait first because there's overlap in the story. WHOA, yeah,
So I'll tell you what those scenes are that you
should watch before you see the movie in just a second.

(01:06):
But first, can you imagine being a criminology student in Arlington, Texas.
You're going to college and you get the opportunity of
a lifetime to solve a cold case. Oh sick, that
just happened to a bunch of college students at the
University of Texas. So there was a cold case that
was cold for thirty years.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
I know that was a good storytelling.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
A twenty five year old woman was killed back in
nineteen ninety one and no one ever got arrested for it.
So these students started to go through old evidence and
realized that there was a lady she was friends with
that had motive and no alibi, and so they were
able to show the cops and they announced that they
had made the arrest. And now the cool thing is
is the college is teamed up with the with the

(01:50):
police department and they're going to help dig through.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Other color cases. That's cool.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
That's a great way to do it because you know,
like the college students, I mean, obviously that's their passion.
They're new into it. You're gonna be working hard to
figure out what it is, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I mean that's the coolest way to learn. Yeah, So anyway,
I hope a bunch of colleges do that. I might
go back to school just to be a criminology cool.
That is so sick. Oh and this is great too, guys.
Taco Bell has decided to take innovation.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
To the streets. Oh yikes.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
They've got three new offerings and they didn't come up
with them all by themselves. No, they went to the
streets and said, you guys, decide what we're going to
put on our menu next. Over forty thousand fans submitted
their just like their ideas or their little concoctions. And
these are the three that won the California Crunch Rap,
the Burrito Bliss, and the Cantina Craze. So there's vegetarian options.

(02:40):
There's a blend of like the you know California Britos
have the French fries in them and stuff. Oh that's
what the California crunch wrap is the burrito bliss is
a vegetarian option, and the cantina craze is basically just
chicken crispy taco with creamy kalo sauce.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
But it's innovation in the street. He give the power
to the people.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yeah, so talk about knows how to get people to
come through.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
So if you're into that, go get it. I'm angry.
Now we'll go back to Wicked and the Yellow Brick Road.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So if you plan on seeing Wicked for good, experts
are saying there three scenes from the original Wizard of
Oz that came out in nineteen thirty nine you may
want to rewatch or watch for the first time.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
The scenes include this is really not a.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Spoiler and also don't worry about it, but includes the
Witch's attack on the Scarecrow when Dorothy arrives in Oz,
and then when the Wizard orders Dorothy and her friends
to kill the.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Witch the way the Wizard ordered them to kill the Witch.
I haven't seen that movie in the original really, yes,
so they purposefully went out and looked for danger.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yes, so the Wizard of Oz kind of like stranger Things.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yea.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Dorothy was like a mercenary. Think about it.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Well, man, she was on a misshow Yeah, she showed
up in another world and they're like, we needed to
kill this person.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
She's like, I got you. She's like, Liam Nethan.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
You a scarecrow, no heart, Give me a lion who's
really cowardly, and then.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
A ten I think the ten man had no heart
in the scarecrow no brain, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Give me a dumb scarecrow yeah, and a heartless tin man. Yeah,
and we're good to go. A cowardless line yea.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
And a cowerdless line and we will mark that witch
for you and read slippers.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
There's no place like home.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
But'd be cool if it was an action movie like that.
Why didn't you just I could picture an.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Action start giving that last line like there's no place
like the pretty serious.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
You don't know the line there's no place like home.
They don't say that Wicked. I haven't seen Wicked. It's good,
it's really good. I think I like it.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I don't remember that movie is really good, but I
haven't seen the original.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Whatever we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
That's how she gets home and how she gets to Oz.
She clicks her ruby heels together. She says, there's no
place like home. There's no place like why home.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Didn't you just go do that in the first place
rather than having to kill someone.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Made a real short story. You got to watch the
movie Educate the Wizard of Oz and they're like, here's
these slippers, because you killed this witch.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
If you want to go home and click your heels,
she clicks her heels and that's it.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
He's like, nope, anyone, here's.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
A prerequisite for some of these sequels. You got to
see the very first one. That's just my opinion, but
that's what's trending.
