Speaker 1 (00:00):
Give us three minutes and we'll give you everything you
need to know for the day. It's just three minutes,
brought to you by Muncasho've been going auburn your home
from MACHINEO. It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
While with the new year obviously comes new opportunity to
find love in new ways, there is a tool that
many of you use probably every day at your job
that has now been turned into a way to find dates.
Heck yeah, I will tell you what that is in
just a second, But first, there's a question burning on
your mind. This question has been trending for the past

(00:30):
few days, ever since the holidays, because many people left
their pets at home alone, and the question is how
long would it take for your cat to forget you?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Never I would say, are they Well, it depends with
cats like to forget you on accident, because I think
they do it on purpose. Whatever. I don't even know
who you are.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
That's why.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
That's why it's specifically trending with cats. Because this whole
conversation started, everybody was like, Oh, yeah, my dog would
remember me, My dog loves me, my dog shows up
for me every day. Cats, you can leave them alone
and they're totally fine, so would they actually miss you?
But well, an expert did end up chiming in, and
it's like it depends on the connection.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Before you left time out this expert, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Cats are way more complex emotionally than dogs.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
You know, they do get attached, though, according to this
vet that spoke to Newsweek and was saying that cats
don't easily forget their owners if the connection was strong
and stable.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, because if cats were big enough, They've done research
on this. Cats were big enough, they would eat you.
I see you as a food source, like not somebody
who gives them food, the person that they want to eat.
So of course I can remember you, tasty morsel coming back.
If I was bigger, man, I would now their head
rightship with cats.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
So I don't know if that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I feel like that comes from the whole, Like you know,
people make that joke about you know, being an old
cat lady, and then when.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
You die, your cats eat you. And then I feel
like that when people are.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Like, oh, well, think about lions and tigers, right, they're
big cats, So cats were bigger, they'd be like those guys.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
They also just want love and pets and cuddles. That's
what Mossa wants for me, my cat when.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
They want it, though not when you want.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
It right.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Another time.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
That's a lot like dating. Sometimes.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Victoria's cat is creepy.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
She's protective, is what she is.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I watched Victoria's apartment for a while when she was
out of town for like a week, you know, and
I didn't have anywhere to stay at the time because
I was moving, so I house sat for with her cat. Yeah,
three o'clock in the morning. The cats just jumps on
the side of the bed, not even all the way
out the side of the bed, just pause on the
side of the bed, directly in the face, meowing like
crazy and staring at me like what's wrong? No, she

(02:49):
had food. I was like, what's wrong. She just would
not stop staring at me and meowing with the creepiest
maw and her dead eyes that this is going to happen.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Nod she do that to you, Victoria. No, she usually
just lays on me and I give her a few
little pets.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Oh, it was so creepy.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
You wanted pets or to be held? Were you just
not touching the cat?

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Ye know? Her eyes they were completely black.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
She wanted to playday. I hate those hours. It's like,
now go to bed.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Oh well, speaking of cats eating you, there are food
trends that we also need to look out for. The
Retailer's twenty twenty six trend report has dropped, and I
thought these are kind of interesting standouts. It's the Year
of the Female Farmer. We actually care where our food
is coming from, and we want it to be from
a female kitchen coture means you want like pretty decor

(03:42):
that makes you want to eat more, dopamine decorus what
they're calling it. And then freezer fine dining because you
don't want to cook. You just want to go to
the freezer section, but you want it to be good.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
So you want to Why have female farmer?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
It just says it's better at farming.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Well, the International Year of the Woman Farmer. That's all
it says. Brands are on board with. Yeah, that's all
it says.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Did you know if your food came from a female
farmer or a male farmer? I feel like women take
more care in doing things well right.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I think we also label it to be honest. A
lot of like small businesses or whatever. We will label
it's women owned or a woman owned business, because some
people do want to support support women own businesses.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
I just wondered if it was a quality thing or
if it's just like supporting. Right.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Oh my gosh, this is totally on a tangent, but
I'm going to do it anyway. Speaking of women farmers,
it really does matter though, that they care that you
put into stuff. Did you ever see the movie jubill
you specifically about the woman that created vouv clicko the champagne.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Well, her name is Barb Nicole.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
She's this woman back in the day, but she was
bullied by the guys over at moat the other high
end champagne, and they were men farmers bullying the woman farmer,
and she like revolutionized champagne.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, it is cool. Okay, that's why we shouldn't let
women in any of our clubs. It was not just
do it better exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Back to what you're using at work to find love,
PowerPoint PowerPoint is now being used to find love. You
create your own PowerPoint presentation, give it to your friends,
and send them out into the streets to give PowerPoint
presentations on you. So people know what they're getting It's
essentially a dating app, but with people that you know, oh,
sharing your PowerPoint presentation. I kind of like that, But

(05:21):
I know my friends and if they're drunk, they'll just
talk about me.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
They're not gonna pull up the whole power It won't
be the most flattering reference.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I don't think power point. I don't think a PowerPoint
presentation would ever sell me on a date. I don't
think I would be like, man, I did not sign
up to a pyramid scheme. This is like, did I
get like some whishaway to some weird conference in Vegas
for the weekend? Your friend photos your friend needs a
power you to do a power point to try to

(05:47):
convince me. Yeah, definitely, no act.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Now you get to go to my cousin's wedding.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
There's a deal pots and pans too that I ever try.
That's what's trending, all right. Your first day follow up
is coming up in just three minutes. But hey, real
quick thought out there. For all of the younger minds
who listen to the Jeubil Show, I have a great
idea for you because you're learning, you're in school, whatever

in an earbud and stream the show while you're in school.
That's super easy if.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
You're doing it right now. Hi tech.

Speaker 1 (06:37):

of the month as far as I'm concerned. Ye. Power
on that phone while you're in class, Pop in the
earbud and listen to something that really matters, so you
can always stream the Jubil Show. You know what, It's
not even just for the younger listeners out there. Let's
say you got some sort of weird zoom meeting, pop
in the earbud, dream the show and who cares what

(07:00):
your boss is saying.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
It's not as important.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Definitely not as important, and you can always stream the
show on the iHeart Radio app. Just go to the
iHeart Radio app and put hits on a six point
one in make it your favorite station. You can always
have the Jubil Show wherever you are, so you can
ignore what's actually going on in front of you and
important and pay attention to something important. Problem SOLVERSH, yeah

can wait. Kids, stream the show. Stream it on your phone.
