start to finish, incredible game, and then they beat the Pelicans,
obviously not as good as Houston, but more importantly, d
Aaron Fox came back. Yeah, and we'll get into darreon Fox.
But I think a lot of the shadow.

I think a lot of the chatter around the league.
And you know something I've been reading, like different outlets,
like writers that I messed with, media people, some of
the player podcasts is like when he came out the
box dropping thirty, dropping twenty eight, you know, seemingly unstoppable,
he's kind of come back down to earth, and people

are saying, as the league figured would be out.

Have they figured him out? He's You're not gonna be
able to figure him out because he's always going to
have an effect on the game, whether he's scoring or not. Yes,
because like if he's in the paint, you're not going
into the paint. And defensively, the way he can just
change it. Again, he's probably gonna win the next five
defensive Players of the Year if he's healthier, Like you

know what I'm saying, So like if you you can't
figure that out, and then if his offense is rolling,
and you gotta also say, listen, he's had different start
guys in and out of the lineups too, so you
know they had their chemistry at the beginning, but then
now when you start shuffling the guards in and out
of the lineup, it's hard for him to be consistent
because he has to get the ball in the spots.

So tough to figure out.

I agree, but I think they found something to slow
him down. Yeah, I want to say they figure out,
but only a matter of time before he he figures
out how to master this. You know what I'm saying,
like he's a guy, he's a kid that cares about
like getting better. Yeah, so he's gonna figure out how
to get the ball where he needs it, like in
the spots that he wants. And he's seven four. You
can't block and shot, you know, you know what I'm saying.

So like figure, like Paul said, figuring him out and
you have block and shot.

Hope he misses. You can make a tough tough for him.

But yeah, he's starting to come down to earth a
little bit because we see him as a defensive guy.

Like him coming out scoring and averaging thirty was like,
you know, he could probably be win the best players
of all time.

Yeah, continue that. Oh everything we he made us believe
that he was a scorer. He can score.

They'll have knights where he will score, but he's not
there yet to be like consistent score. If he becomes that,
he will be one of the best players of all time.
But mostly he's a defensive player. He's skilled offensively and
he can score, but realistically he's a guy to change
the game defensively and offensively. Just said, rebound put backs,
but knock down a three here and there, But it'll
open up the floor from more now that darreon Fox

is back, when they get Dylan Harper back and they
get you know, the whole team, whole Cornett, it'll open
up the floor from But he has to figure out,
like how to attack these defense that throw on him
now differently, So he'll figure that out in it's only
amount of time. But this is him. I'm cool with
eighteen and eighteene. I mean, just a slow night for

him is a great night for anybody else.

You know, the idea that Wenby's been figured out and
the answer to the test is to put six foot
eight guys like rooming on him, Like I'm sorry, that's
not long term, like the idea that he's not going
to figure out how to consistently beat up on six
foot eight dudes, Like I don't care how rangy or
shifty these guys are. He's gonna eventually figure out how

to beat that. And I think what they've been doing
a better job is pushing him out further and further from.

And then once he also figured out how to manipulate
the game. But certain guys know how to get to
the free throw once you're not able to like, you're
not gonna just push him around.

I said this, and I said again, in case the
people didn't listen, I said it a year ago. Wemby
is the most talented player in the NBA right now,
the most top to bottom most talented player. There's no
figuring that out. You can'd the most talented, don't.

He does random ship like what the Lakers did, and
even with some of the rock what some of the
Rockets were doing too, again was it was it's like
just basically giving them different looks, different in waves at
him to let him be not comfortable. And again it's
only his third year. He hasn't mastered every.

Single half the year last year, so it's like it's
really like exactly.

So I think I think he'll be fine. I think
it was big as Darren Fox coming back, because you know,
he dropped twenty four in the in the in his
season debut. He was a big part of what they
were doing. And crunch time. Again, it's the Pelicans, I
get it, but they were in a close game and
the aon Fox kind of settled it.

That matters, it's you matter who are you playing against them?

Crunch time?

You need somebody? Okay, see they were, you know, but
a lot of those games were crunch time. Yes, even
though they weren't teams that were great, considering they were
close games like it might have been Sacramento, might have
been Indiana, but they won those games down the stretch,
and that prepares you for the lung and they need that.
You could tell even against the Lakers, they just didn't
look yeah, composed, They didn't look like they were confident

And watched them though seriously, because before I was on
the like, all right, maybe you could use the Fox
as a trade piece.

I like his stability, brands and he could take some

looked at that stat line with all the players, how
they all everybody had a good game, Like everybody they
had like seven eight guys double. So I was looking like, damn,

Like only with him with you have to have Fox though,
like with another year or two before Dylan Harper. Yes's castle,
I'm saying, but you need him for the next you looking.

Like they got talent, they got probably an MVP candidate.
They got athleticism, they got guard play, they got depth,
and and I'm gonna get that young kid.

he was down the stretch, when he was getting the
ball at the elbow, it was just like, yeah, it's over.

but there's not enough time from the work on that

He was gonna get better throughout the season. But you
better believe this this next summer instead of the showerling
with the monks and everything, he's gonna do some of
that too. But he's gonna be like, all right, how
do I get to my spots? How do I get
to the free throw line? How do I make sure,
you know what I'm saying, I don't get pushed away
from the basket. How do I operate against smaller guys.

I'm gonna play more against smaller guys.

It's just gonna be age.

As his body gets stronger, like we saw with Jannis,
Like you know what I'm saying, As he got stronger,
he got better. That's what's gonna happen with this kid.
Because he looks a little stronger this year. It looks
a little better. The talent, Like I said, the talent
is there, the skills is there, Just like when you
watch these kids come up and a you be like,
hes gonna be good when it gets stronger. All you
gotta do is get strong. And I'm seeing that in

the NBA certain guys they just need to get stronger.

Denver is second in defensive efficiency and they've got the
second rate the defense in the league right now.

And I think they can keep this up all season.

One of the things that came up right now, teams

if you if Denver could get their defense to be
in the top thirteen to twelve, because they're consistently in
