Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is cole Minor John. This is cole Minor Salm
And we have.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Been digging for stories on the Okay Storytime podcast as
long as we can remember saying.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Yeah, and we've found some diamonds of the rough. How
have don't we? John?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
That's right, But before we do that, we have to
wade through two more minutes of incredible ads from our
sponsors keeping us finding more great.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Stories on this show.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I decided to take my friend to court after she
tried to emotionally manipulate me.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Get that bad girl, get it.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I thirty female and let's call her Amy twenty five female,
met through some mutual friends Bob twenty eight male, Sarah
thirty one female, and My twenty nine female. Bob and
Amy had moved in together as roommates. I live in
a city about two hours away from everyone in the group.
We try to hang out as much as we can
and we talk regularly.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
By the way, this.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Comes from Hughley Turtles and if you want to submit
your own stories, go to the r slash Okay story
Time Star. But they were getting back on their feet
after some impossible roommate issues with their last homes. I
was doing well financially, so I spotted them some money
to get them into an apartment. That is a pretty
pretty generous thing to do. I had let Aims me
a bit of money for an event ticket so she

(01:02):
didn't lose what she had already put into it.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, I was dumb. I regret it.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
All in all, I was about eight hundred dollars deep
in with this friendship. It was very clear that it
was just alone and she could pay me back a
little by a little at a time. Bob paid me
back very quickly.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
If you give your friends money.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's a gift, it's gone. It goes yeap friends or family.
Oh god, that's even more family.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Over the last six months, we noticed that they were
always paying her way when we hung out, and she
was always saying, I feel so.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Bad you have to pay for me. I swear I'll
pay it back.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
She's constantly posting on social media about her money troubles.
In other drama, I casually mentioned that she and Bob
should sell her tickets and get caught up. She insisted
she was fine and would be going despite everything. She
ended up going to the event with me, my partner,
and Bob. Little did I know my partner was gonna propose,

(02:04):
and I said, yes, let's go.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Partner's name partner is partner, Partner, Okay, sweet partner.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
At the event, she was way out of line with
her partying, making stupid decisions, pushing to go harder. I
told her I was uncomfortable, but she just got upset
with me. After the event, I informed the rest of
our friend group and we started to point it out
to her. She's heading down a dark path and we
are very worried about her. She insists that she can
handle herself. Tickets go on sale for a large event.

(02:36):
We go every year and get an airbnb for it.
Everyone buys their own tickets. I get the airbnb, but
we will split it evenly between the seven people. What
is this niche event? I'm guessing Coachella, That's what I'm guessing.
Stage coach, seven stage coach, something like that, Bonner Room,
some sort of some sort of big music festival. Seven people, Airbnb.
That's that's That's what I'm feeling. This will be the

(02:58):
last time we go. We do this as a group
because my partner and I need to save up for
the wedding.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Shoot. We set some boundaries since the last event with Amy.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
One, everyone pays me back for the airbnbat before or
at the event.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Two.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I think it's gotta be before. Oh, definitely got to
be before. Yeah, like what we did. Riley booked it boom.
Riley immediately paid me back. I booked an Airbnb for
the wedding we're going to and he's the only one
so far.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
So we'll get there. We'll get there, we'll get there.
I just I just.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Key. You could probably sit in a request like I
just know that was me bro Oh yeah, they'd be like, well,
how much is it again?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
You know, two hundred, But I appreciate you pay your
own way for food, souvenirs, et cetera. Number three, no
strangers at the airbnbat. If the group doesn't know them,
assume it's a no. Number four, it's gonna be chill.
We aren't going to be up at four am playing
music and be wow again. I think it's a music question.

(04:01):
I started looking for a new job because the place
I was working out was getting toxic and I'm super
stressed out. We are looking to move cities and still
be close to my partner's work. Amy informs me that
her and her friend had dropped out and couldn't go.
She would like to invite a different friend. I told
her she knows the rules and they will need to
pay for their spot in the Airbnb. I was stressed

(04:21):
and didn't dig deeper.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
This is not a good time for Amy to be
pulling these shenanigans.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Dude, Amy, listen, op. He's trying to save up for
the marriage. That workplace is toxic. We cannot afford any
more stress. Yes, okay, we were already stressed enough.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I agree. Also, looking at the ages, Amy is about
five years younger than everyone, so she's twenty five. Everyone's
like in their thirties. I don't know. I was just
trying to see a way to give Amy an excuse.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Oh of why yeah, I mean it could be a
maturity thing. She is five years younger, twenty five is
not a child.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
But I do think there could be a little bit
of that.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, at the end of the day, like, you know,
you can still be older and less sure, Yeah, so
it might be a little bit of that, even though
she's in her mid twenties. She informs the rest of
the group that I had approved a guy Josh, to
stay with us. No one except Bob has met him.
Bob doesn't like or trust Josh. Bob will back out
if Josh is staying at the Airbnb. Sarah and May

(05:22):
are mad because I approved it without talking to them.
At this point, I had totally forgotten about Amy asking
me to begin with. When the group told me, I
was completely unaware of who this guy was. I informed
them that I assumed that Amy would that Amy would
have talked to him about it first. So basically like
it was a it was a mistake of negligence. Op
just thought that she had already gotten everyone else's approval,

(05:45):
and she was like the last Yes, God.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Did I see I see miscommunication?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, so I thought that it would have been discussed
with the group when they were hanging out at some point.
Amy was mad, but I was put off by how
underhanded it felt.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
The answer is.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
An that's one of the four rules.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Bob or Josh get on out of here, because Bob
doesn't trust him. We don't want Josh knowing where we're staying.
It's now twenty twenty five. She hasn't paid me back
for what I lent her last year.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
You were better off putting all that money into meme
coins or sports betting.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
That is true.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You were You were literally better taking seven hundred and
ninety nine dollars buying a giant can of vasoline, pouring
it on the seven ninety nine, lighting a match, throwing
the match in it, watching it explode. A car coage
is on fire, that car explodes, a whole building falls down,
crushing your burnt, crisp dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
You still have one more dollars than you do today.
That is true.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
You would literally be better off doing it. You're literally better
off doing that. She had lost her job working at
the same company as Bob and May. She is behind
on rent and bills, and she's going to some big
events splitting in Airbnb.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
I've I think you can go home and figure out
how to pay for your home. Yeah, this is uh.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
I'm getting some icy use of the financial situation, causing
more more loan, asking more desperation.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
And I know she's not just doing this to Op
because it hits it before every everyone pays Amy's way.
Right now, I feel Amy's about to be like no more.
Is everyone else gonna put that with her and be
like here's my line too?

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Or ope to Amy like op. Yeah, I'm not Amy.
I'm not gonna let you do loans anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
That's what I'm about to see.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
And I feel like she's like ringing everyone else, like
how much money is she spent, like borrow from Bob Sarah,
how much may that's a.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Lot of people, you know eight Yeah, that's like that's money. Yeah,
that's money. Amounts thirty six hundred, Oh quick, maths.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It's a lot of.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Her posting online asking for people to spot her money drama,
personal loss. Literally a picture of her crying and holding
her best away bet and your mental breakdowns.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Now that's content. That is content. Now, that's content.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
If you didn't, right, you wouldn't have to ask people
for money. That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Oh yeah, Amy, Amy needs some help. It seems not
another loan. That's not gonna help for anything. I don't
think another loan is the actual solution to the problem.
Teacher to fish, you know what I'm saying. Along the way,
we're trying to comfort Amy. She just wants to relax
and party. Everyone including Amy, has their ticket. Now Bob

(08:29):
is considering selling his ticket. Amy needs two hundred and
fifty dollars to keep Bob from selling his ticket. We
informed her that if Bob sells, so should she. It's
not fair to her to go if he's covering half
of bills.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Amy is is.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Bob and Amy together? I kind of want to assume
so I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I am a little bit confused on the Bob and
half because OPI bought the airbnb and split it seven ways,
and I thought everyone could go out there and tickets.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I'm a little bit confused. Yeah, maybe you will get
some clarity. Clarity.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Amy is coming to me acting like everyone is just
bullying her over her getting a job. She's put in
thirty eight applications in over a month. I found out
that she had easy interviews, but doesn't bring what she
needs or shows up under dressed. Nothing she was telling
me is adding up. I told Amy, that's not really enough.
I fill out two hundred applications over a few months.

(09:24):
The market is tough. She can door dash, she said
she has, but it's just enough to cover the gas
and update. Thank you everyone, their roommates, their roommates, Oh,
Bob and Amy, m.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Ooh, that gets old quick. I love you, Sophia, but
if I had to pay for a lot of your stuff.
It'd be hard to love you as much as I
you know, you don't.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
I know, I know.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I'm just saying like, if this was the dynamic, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
but probably vice versa. I know Sophia gets sick of
unloading and loading dishwasher, and I'm trying to be better
at that.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
That's my way. Our boy is working on himself. Ladies
and gentlemen. I didn't take out the boxes, yes, and
I appreciate that got.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
The box and I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Sarah and Bob.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Let me know that she is door dashing from eight
pm to twelve am, then hanging out with Josh or
Tie someone else who the group doesn't trust. I mean,
that was more than I thought she would be. To
be honest, I thought it was like one hour a
week or something.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah, we need to go to two or three am.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, or just like a full or even just like
I wander a full like regular nine to five workday.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Who dashing?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Yeah yeah, that'll give you something in less crazy hours.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
But AnyWho, they both have a history of substances, using
substances early until early in the morning. Amy then sleeps
all day. So one to two weeks before the big concert.
Notice how I called that. This is the first time
it was. Now this is a concert. I just had
to pat myself on the back because, Yeah, Amy finds
out that there are other concerts she wants to go

(10:57):
and go hard. Amy got aggressive with another friend of ours.
She accused our friend of selling things and not sharing
and this friend wasn't doing anything of that. What are
they doing putting their bike on Facebook marketplace? She's like, hey, hey,
you're not giving me some money for I should have
some of that. Yeah, hey, hey, your bike is our bike.
I wrote it once. I wrote it once, so I

(11:20):
have like at least like twenty five percent ownership on
that mountain bike.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
And since you did this, give me fifty Yes? Yeah,
how dare you we need to interest?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (11:30):
This is shark Loane interest dera doory exactly. And if
you don't give it to me right now, just give
me the whole thing. Just give me the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Amy understands interest when she is owed money, but has
no idea what the concept is when she owes money
to others.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
That is why you.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Owe op so much money. But you're trying to get
money from someone that sold their own thing. I can't
even think of anything that people share and sell.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Maybe a TV okay maybe, but like dude, it's but
there's no way.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
I don't think they live together.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Yeah that yeah, no, no oh wait wait wait wait
your poison.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Talk tonic might be there might be rugs, subs, there
might be substances.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, she does do that with the other two peeps.
She does.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
We don't know what kind of substances she's doing. It
could be a little wake and bake, but waking at
night and baking.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
And I will say I have been simulating a game
that sells rugs with our producer.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yes, and I do know what it's like to share.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
You're like, hey, man, I have a gambling at a problem.
She has a very severe gambling problem on that game. Wow,
she does, but like you know, she'll take forty and
then you know, sell it. Great. We but like you know,
you got to put in the ATM when you're done.
You don't keep it for yourself. You gotta put the
money in the ATM.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Sure, can you can you choose your your uh, your things?
Can I like choose to be a gambling addict and then.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah, yeah, I mean there's a casino you can go.
But I mean, I mean, is it like a character
trait you give no.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
No, I just went to the casino and I kept gambling.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yeah, it's just some pick up running the slots. Yeah,
it's natural, it's it's it's organic, it's yeah, it's okain
non gmo. At this point, Sarah and May told her
to stop going to concerts, clearly stating that she can't
afford to go and that she needs to take a
break for her mental health, explaining that they would be
bad friends to let her spend her last thirty dollars

(13:20):
on a ticket quick pull tell tell her not. I'm
curious if if you guys agree that the friends should
kind of have this obligation to tell her or not.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Very curious to hear what you have today.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna be taking a step. Could
you show me my friends and I'll show you who
I am? If I have someone not paying people bag
kind of not, you know, bettering themselves as a person,
Iron sharpens, iron brother Sharpen's a brother, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
And I.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Think it's time to take a couple of steps back here.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Oh trying to trying to sharpen a brother. Huh oh yeah,
always I'm right here.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Get over here, I'll sharpen you, sharpen your right up.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
No, so let us know in the poll what you think. Now,
this is when things start getting bad. She starts applying
with well, if you don't want me there, I guess
I'll just miss out.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
She was told to stop because it felt manipulative.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
All along, she's been posting online asking to borrow money
and other things. Her birthday is coming up and she
just wants to have a good time. Birthday month, birthday month. Hey,
come on, Sophia, I mean back me up here.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Birthday I love a birthday month. I'm all for a
birthday month. Yes, I've got at least three birthday celebrations
every year.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
If we have our last thirty dollars, that's one dollar
of birthday month gifts today. That's all I'm saying. Or
we could spend it all at once and then spend
another three thousand.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Dollars on a credit card.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
By the way, Pole has voted and they said one
hundred percent, tell the friend if they have their last
thirty dollars, be like, maybe not the best idea to
spend that.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah, I think you're right, Chat exactly, I think you're right.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
On to big concert weekend, she gets dropped off with
the Airbnb by Ty and or Josh, remember that the
evil Josh.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Why I am setting boundaries for her for the weekend.
She states that she.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Will not be doing anything crazy. She will be sober
besides booze, er Kanja and we will have long talks
while getting ready.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
It seems like we'll have a good weekend. Wait, that's
not sober though, she's sober.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
She's just guzzling booze and living in a cloud of
the devil's lettuce.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
That's not so that's not sober though, right, But she's
sober except for with booze and devil's lettuce. That's what
she's doing. That's where she's going.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
It's a California's sober ah, I see, except except that's
when you don't drink bless you. This is this is
calif This is a California sober two point zero.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
See to the to me, so Florida sober, Florida sober
is you just do meth and bath salts. That's it. Yeah,
I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
I thought that was the worst things you could do
or not worse things, but like, uh, you're definitely not
sober doing those things.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
No, you're not at all. One is not at all.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
I see now this.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Is the new California is sober.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
But anyway, I give Amy advice for life and being
a functional adult. I inform her that the only things
that will stop me from being her friend are lying
or trying to manipulate me. I subtenly drop hints through
stories on how real friends, the real friends of life,
want to see you thrive. People who post super personal
things on their social media typically only want.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Something for people.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Be careful because it does not look good, especially when
trying to find a job real quick. Here gut check
Sophia and Riley, super quick. I don't like.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
The savior complex.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yeah, like the savior complex, the kind of like, uh,
little little arrogant out of what do you think so
of you?

Speaker 6 (16:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
No, I agree, Yeah he's big sistering her.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, Like it was kind of like unwarranted, and I
think you know it's fair if she's like, hey, like
you've been posting a lot about personal stuff and social media,
maybe some of that involves ope, and she's like, hey,
you're kind of like blowing up my spot or something
like that. But I think just like dropping all these
hints and coded and stories and just like weird like
motivational speaker life advice.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Quarantined May maybe a little bit much.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yeah, but this is the timeline with everything we found
out later. Foreshadowing day one, Amy tries to convince May
to not tell the group that she is not sober
for the weekend or has that stuff. So we went
from sober only on drinks and weed to now just
not sober on just we're just we're just doing everything.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
We are doing everything. That's that's insane. She she already
had two things that she could do my birthday, m birthday.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Amy claimed it was a gift for her birthday and
she didn't pay anything for it. Dude, you and Sam
have been calling things right before a sentence lightly and
it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
I don't even read that. I couldn't read it.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Well.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
It was a large amount, and Amy gets a very
generous gift from someone at the event, like two hundred
dollars or more.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Worth of clothes at the event. Wow.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
After the show, May wants to go to bed. Amy
wants to stay up and Amy leaps on the couch.
So day two, at the event, Amy ends up in
medical care. What oh dear. Things are escalating kind of quickly,
but the group didn't see that text until later. Amy
claims her friend we think ty but she didn't say
was the one in medical care, so basically lying. I

(18:28):
think she was just helping him out. The group agrees
we need to have a talk with Amy this weekend
because she's freaking us out.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Oh so she wasn't hurt, just one of her friends hurt.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
I think she lied. Instead. Amy ends up in medical care,
but the group didn't text. Later.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Amy claims her friend Tye was one of the medical
area got it, Yeah, I think it was her. At
the airbnb, she informs us that she wants Tie to
pick her up to go hang out with.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Them for her birthday. Of course, she says she'll be
back in the morning.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
He doesn't seem okay, but we feel like it's not
a good idea to force her to stay with us.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
He trusts them.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Day three, Amy returns in a complete spiral. Nice, what
was rule number four had the chill weekend?

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Rule number four broke in out. Honestly, I think we've
broken all of the rules so far. There was maybe
not there was.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
She hasn't invited anyone that they don't know Josh.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
She invited Josh. Oh she did.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Okay, I missed that, and then she invited Josh. She's
not having a chill weekend. She didn't pay him back.
She's she's not respecting the the curfew. You know, she's
like trying to stay from the party. Yeah, I think
I think she's broken all the rules. Bawling and refusing
to talk to anyone except May. She quickly packs up
her things and leaves with tie. We want to reach out,
We don't hear much. We try to not let it

(19:45):
ruin our weekend. Bob goes home because he has to
work in the morning, and the rest of us go
to the event and have a great time. A week
or so after the concert, I hear nothing. I reach
out to inform her that I'm moving cities and I
need her to pay me back. I know that she
she lied and need to build back trust by paying
me back. She responds to inform that she has a

(20:05):
job lined up and she will pay me back. I
call it six hundred dollars. Even so, we're giving discounts. Right,
we're making deals over here with the airbnb she still
owes me for, so that's even lower. I'll take the
two hundred dollars off for gas slash food because that's
just what good friends do.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
May Sarah and Bob have the talk. She's been avoiding.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Amy's mental health is suffering, and she's losing the group
because of reactions. She swears she isn't buying anything, excuses
about Tye and Josh. When she was confronted about lying
to us, she says that she didn't want us to
know because she was scared of the reactions. A and
regular user was being used. No one called her a
regular user, just that her behavior is showing all the

(20:49):
signs that she's not okay. Bottom line is we need
to see the work she's putting in. Back off events
and stuff, Stop posting everything online and getting caught up.
Everyone will be for her and we want to see
her thrive. It's hard work, but it does need to
be done. She hits up the friend she accused of
selling for a birthday gift earlier.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Remember the bike scenario thing, Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
This friend doesn't sell anything and has uh ann has
been sober for eight years.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
So this person literally not even sell anything. It's just
like you sold your toast of it, and I'd need
a part of it.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Pints of her not being being all there.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
That's great call out. Amy goes to more events. Nothing
has changed. Everyone just starts getting distant. Amy is removed
from a chat for a bachelorette party we're invited to.
She freaks out and starts complaining to May and Bob.
She was uninvited because it's a huge financial burden. The
bride didn't want to push that on her because she
is posting about having no money.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
You know.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
That kind of tracks, kind of tracks another week. Amy
reaches out a few days before she knows we will
all be hanging out at Sars birthday. We're going to
a local bar just to chill. Unfortunately, I don't know
if Amy is in a chill mode right now. I
don't know if Amy's on some chow vibes, so.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I don't think she needs to be around a bar
right now.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
That is another great point, Sir Riley. Amy wants us
to know that she's trying and just wants to update us.
She sends me a fifty dollars payment because that's all
she can afford. My response was, your balance is five
hundred and fifty dollars. I felt like she was fishing
for an invite so she could come and we would
pay for her drinks.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Ooh, break even.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Right, Yeah that was the story. Yeah last night. Actually
one done. Millennial will send it a story And basically
this this friend kept being like, hey, could you loan
me like two thousand dollars. I'll give you a two
hundred dollars down payment. It's like, no, stupid, like that is?
I know what you're doing. Yeah, you're investing. Yeah, you're
getting a ten x return out of me. You're not

(22:47):
a Nigerian prince. I know what this is. Not today baby.
On Sarah's birthday weekend, I drive down to hang out
with the group. She posts things like at least three
at least these tacos never hurt me like people do,
and lip syncing to super emotional songs about being better
off alone. Posting a picture at a different gar at
a different bar with another group, Amy reaches out again.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I confronted her.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
About the posts, trying to ruin Sarah's birthday by making
her feel guilty. As a new loaf for her. The
only thing Amy is saying is that she is not
trying to be that way. Those aren't her intentions. People
are wanting to take her out because they just want
to hang out. They only brought her one drink. Why
are you being so mean? Everyone has gotten on my

(23:31):
case for that already. The lip syncing was because of
a guy.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
What is it? Is it a crime to lip sing? Now?
I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Yeah, libru alone, Opie, let let her go.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Yeah, I'm getting kind of more and more like, oh,
let me like sit you down and give me advice.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
I'll let me like, you know, it's it is. It's
a bit much. Op.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
He's very frustrated with this person and anything this person
does she's complaining about.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Now she's lip syncing.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Yeah, ridiculous tacos.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I think, Op, you need to stop the the ted
talk lectures and starts just giving yourself a little distance
to hang out with. Yeah, someone who's maybe not constantly
hitting go for a long give.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yourself some peace. Cause I don't know. If you give
someone advice and they don't take it, and you keep
giving advice and they don't take it, what are we what.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Are we doing here? What are we doing? What are
we doing?

Speaker 2 (24:19):
This? This is this method doesn't make sense. It doesn't
matter if she's not trying to be that way. It's
how it's coming across. It's all super immature and she
needs to stop again. OP, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
This must end. The tacos have gone too far. It's
now Caso Taco Tuesday. They're full of cheese.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
I'm done with it all right, OP, you're you're you're,
You're losing us with every sentence, OPI I can't lost.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Just blocker bro, just fo yes, yes, come on, it's
not that deep. It's like, so not that deep.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Although there is a six hundred and that I mean, listen,
six hundred dollars is a lot of money. It is
so and maybe Op's in the position she's like, yo,
I kind of really need that six hundred back.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Maybe that helps make rent her stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah, if if, if six hundred dollars is not make
her break, give yourself a piece of space, like you know,
I think it's worth it. We found out that there
are all reasons why she fell out with her last group. Oh,
she would borrow money and have people take her out
and never pay them back, begging for stuff and spending
money on things that she doesn't need. The lies pile

(25:24):
up quickly. The last group stepped away quietly from all
of the manipulation. We fell for her crap, hook line
and sinker. Today, she posts on Snapchat that she was
doing better and was thinking about doing a going to
a three day festival. I mean, I will say it
does seem like she's addicted to it.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Bro the festival tickets. The festival tickets, I mean they
used to be like they used to be. I was
gonna say, they.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Used to be like one last year, one, two, three
hundred dollars and some of them are some of them.
I've actually found a lot of cheap pundser tickets out
so Weezer Dominic, fine, but is that a festival. It's
a one one day so it'd probably three or four hundred,
but that's a festival. Yeah, multiple artist Anderson Packers there
you go, that's a festival.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Chance.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
It was great, yeah, but now tickets are like getting
I feel like four hundred to like seven fifty is
what some of what I've been thinking.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
I think I know Yinschlsco though.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Uh yeah, yeah, she's.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Uh Yeah, for all our visual are non visual viewers
and helding through noses. Yeah, she's she's sniffing, sniffing the good,
the good, the good Lord's sugar. Yeah, you know what
I mean, maybe maybe who know, who knows? Who knows?

Speaker 1 (26:32):
We don't know what substances are involved here, but I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
And she may be very skilled at finding this and
getting it for free.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
People do be loving to give that stuff away. Yeah,
I mean, that's not my parents meant. Somehow, sometimes it
brings deal together beautiful.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
My dad was not in doing the best thing and
selling the best things to people. And my mom was like, oh,
what's up your tall glass of water? And he's like,
there you go.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
I mean he is a tall glass of water. You
cannot deny that man six'. Eight Oh.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
GOD i responded to that with when will you be
making another payment and how much will it? Be amy,
responds right, Right, oh the three day festival money is
going not going to my? Loan what's going? On amy
responds with a bunch of excuses on why she. Can't
her car needs new, tires she needs, food she's behind on.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Bills bob's been on her case about.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
It old old Roommate bob just back at it, again
asking her for. Rent she was only thinking about. Going
she wasn't sure. YET i take a screenshot of. Everything
i'm keeping track just in CASE i take her To Small.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Claims.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Wow amy panics and Sends sarah an update message.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
That she is still.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Trying sarah calls her out too about how she feels
manipulated and her behavior hasn't. Changed what she posts online
is crazy and we can't see that she's. Trying sarah
has been feeling so bad about being hard on. Her
everyone has been worried That amy might hurt herself because
of what she posts and the things That amy has
said in the. Past amy posts again minutes After sarah finished.

(28:04):
Talking i'm going to disappear, FOREVER i, SNAPPED i replied
to the story, girl what the actual F amy. Says
it's about her grandma passing, Away. Colley she has been
so far away from her. Family she has missed, Weddings,
bursten the, family and now she will never see her grandma. Again,
okay we gotta stop right. Here yeah. AGAIN i think

(28:24):
like as we've gone throughout the, story we've seen That
op has kind of become more and. More she feels
a little little on her high, horse, like if, anything
why isn't OP i feel like the advice That opie
thinks she, gives which is what she needs to, receive is, like,
listen this friend is like driving around. Circles we don't
Know opie's financial, status but is it worth to collect

(28:47):
all this evidence take her to small claims court for
this six hundred dollars you?

Speaker 1 (28:50):
WANT i just don't know is WHAT i? See, yeah tell,
me please? Please she's loving, THIS opi feeding off.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
This you know What i'm Gonna i'm gonna sit her
down And i'm gonna tell her everything that she needs
to do and how she needs to change your.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Life i'm gonna fix. Her i'm gonna fix. Her i'm
gonna fix. Her oh, no she's she's spending money on other.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Things i'm gonna write down every single thing she, she you,
know spend money.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
On i'm gonna make a, spreadsheet including the taco she
did or did she not even get? Those i'm not even,
sure BUT i know she went to a festival and
according to the festival after tax four.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Thirteen, dude that means going, on she's she's LOVING.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
I THINK i Think i'm, curious sofia like, one if
this is If amy is your, friend are you gonna
kind of just like distance yourself even with the six hundred?

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Dollars?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Yeah, Road, well how would you how would you how
would you approach? That, like what's the how would you tell?
Her would you send a? Message? Like what would you?

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Do?

Speaker 4 (29:44):
Wait, wait she owes me?

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Money she owes you six hundred. Dollars oh that's a.
Lot but it's been a whole rigama.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Role it's been a, year and basically at this point
it's looking highly unlikely you'll get you'll get your.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Money what do You what do you?

Speaker 5 (29:58):
Mean If i'm not even getting My i'd just be, Like,
okay it's not gonna talk to this person.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Anymore, yeah let it, go let yourself. Grow no more.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Party favors from me to. YOU i don't have a
lot of good party.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Favors oh, god he sure. Does i've seen, him by the.
Way you want a party. Favor you want a party.

(30:33):
the last part of this episode. Here SO i told
her posting stuff online is a huge part of the.
Problem the timing was. IMPECCABLE i can only see it
in the context that she posted it and the timing
of our. Issues AND i don't really believe her since
she broke all the TRUST i had in. Her big
posts like this are not, okay what are you gonna?
Do like install install like a app blocker on her

(30:57):
phone so she can't like what?

Speaker 1 (30:58):
What what are? We we're we're TikTok. Police now you.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Know my, gosh she either wants to manipulate us or
feel bad slash or have us feel bad slash. Scared
if she stops, posting especially right after she reaches out
and we haven't dropped the problems with her, Behavior i'm
done with this. Friendship she needs to pay me back
asap Or i'll take.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
Her to small claims. Court AM i the a? Hole
this is an interesting.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
One it's not often where we have you, know the
op potentially being the a.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Hole but, yeah what do you think IS.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
OPI i THINK i Think amy first, off any everyone
everyone sucks, here everyone's a hill.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Here amy and OP I i.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
AGREE i THINK i think LIKE opi is just going
about all these things all the.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Wrong op could have totally been in the. Right you,
know she lent the.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Money, uh she's like seems kind of like kind of
like a mom of the, group you, know like organizing the,
trips and she's you, know doing her fair share to
contribute to the friend.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Family. Yeah, yeah she's just holding it over her head
and just. Lecturing she likes to.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Control, yes have you seen those not saying like all
girl groups, are but LIKE i don't, Know i'm just
thinking of like this one girl group in my head
where one of them is just like you're gonna do
this and that and this and, that just like very
controlling and it's LIKE whoa just.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
Thinks, like, Oh i've got all the, answers And i'm, like,
dude you you keep you kept lending her money like
that seems like the type of advice she thinks she. Gives,
yeah it's, like, hey stop lending a friend's, money give
it some. Space you wouldn't have been out all this
money if you if you had done us up.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Anyways, YEAH i.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
AGREE i think everyone's the a hole, here AND i
THINK i am the a hole for ending this story
because it's.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Over. Wow But i'm not the a hole because this
episode is not. Over ha that. Trick. Two we got more,
Guys let's get into. It Hey's john og.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Hillst we're gonna get back to the, stories but a
quick three minute break of ads from our.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Sponsors my friend lied about, me SO i expose the
truth about. Her the truth ARTS, i twenty five, female
had been friends With, cammy twenty five females since kindergarten
when her family moved next door to mine and we
were both. Six we've been through everything together and once
considered the other as a. Sister we both have even

(33:10):
moved to the same state to be closer to one.
Another by the, way this comes From Okay big eighty,
six and if you want to smit your old, stories
go to our Slash okay storytime. Subreddit so about two years,
Ago cammy started Dating, andrew thirty, six, male WHO i
did not. Like he was a lot older than her
and just did not seem like the right guy for.

(33:32):
Her she once asked me WHAT i thought of him
at the beginning of their, relationship AND i told her
my opinion of him being too, old but she told
me that everything was fine and that age was just a.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
NUMBER i know someone else who said, that and that
did not end. Well another, YouTuber not another YouTuber a,
musician a.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Musician So i'm gonna, Say, Leah, okay now Now i'm. Lost.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
SORRY i honestly didn't see anything else it's bad about,
Him SO i eventually learned to let that, go but
always had that uneasy feeling about. Him we told onto
that gut. Feeling eight months, Ago andrew proposed To cammy
and she immediately asked me to be a. BRIDESMAID i said,
yes AND i was happy for. Her her wedding was

(34:18):
in Late february of this. Year in Early, November hammy
comes over to my apartment to tell me that she
had been actively cheating On andrew for the past six
months with some guy from her.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Work oh that's not. Good that's not a good. Thing
it's not. Good oh. Boy oh, NO i.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Thought andrew was going to complain with. This it's kind of.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
SHOCKING i was it ready for. That, yeah this is
a total plot. Twist oh, oh, man she told.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
Me That andrew Found oh wait what she told me
That andrew found, out and instead of getting angry with,
her asked for her forgiveness and wanted to know as
to how he could be a better partner to her
because he was failing. Her oh, no this is even more.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Dangerous oh, no, oh dear, dude he's gonna oh, no
gonna haven't wrapped around her.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Finger, dude that's not. Good run my, brother, run she.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
Said the reason she was telling me was to go
ahead and get off her chest BEFORE i found out
from someone else and thought badly of. Her when she told,
ME i could tell she had no remorse and didn't
even regret her.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Cheating, dude this is the worst case. Scenario, dude this
is your. FRIEND i don't, know, BRO i. DON'T i
don't know friends with this. Person, yeah this is.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
KINDERGARTEN i can name one friend of yours that you've
had since.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Kindergarten.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
Yeah BUT i think if they like were like doing,
this like you, know doing this, BEHAVIOR i.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
Wouldn't i'd be, LIKE i don't know you.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
Anymore, YEAH i, asked B yeah NO I i, yeah
but that's like so opposite to who they.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Are that is, true but what if that.

Speaker 5 (35:54):
Happened BUT i feel, like you, know people grow, Apart
i'd be, like, oh you're not the same.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Person, yeah that's. Tough that's that's a tough.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
ONE i was shocked and asked if she regretted what she,
did and she said it hurt her to See andrew so,
upset but she explained that things were so hot at
work that the tension was too much for her and
her coworker to.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Ignore there's never an, excuse and that's, maybe honestly one
of the worst excuses at least at least if you're
gonna spout off an excuse, me it.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
GOOD i don't, know, MAN i get some pretty Hodd
tinson with my coworkers at.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Work oh, GOD i mean like it is toasty in. Here,
yeah it's, freezing literally. Sweating.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Dude we can't put we can't take more clothes off
because we're, streaming but you could put more, on. RIGHT
i told HER i was no longer going to be
her bridesmaid and wasn't going to attend her wedding BECAUSE
i don't associate myself with cheaters AND i no longer
support her, marriage especially since she did not think what
she did was.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Wrong let's go so we like to. See that's all
we like to. See Cam we.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Got very mad at me and told me off and
eventually blocked me on. EVERYTHING i never explained to anyone
about her cheating for my reason as to WHY i
chose not to, go AND i made sure not to
talk bad About cammy to anyone who, asked BECAUSE i
did consider her to be a. Sister we have not
talked since that, day AND i know she And andrew

(37:24):
got married. Married, OKAY i just Know andrew's gonna be
coming home seeing someone else in his bed with his
wife and being, like, oh what's your? Name SO i
couldn't do this for your.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Girl But andrew's, like, listen, BABE i know you're cheating.
Again tell me WHAT i? Did what kind of? Kid

Speaker 2 (37:47):

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Need a euro? Trip? Like do you wanna go To Disney?

Speaker 3 (37:49):

Speaker 1 (37:49):

Yourself totally totally makes so much.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Sense, yeah oh oh you want you want a second
seat just just for room on the, airplane just to

want you to have space.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
On fast forward to last week And i'm out with
my boyfriend at a coffee shop WHERE i run into
one Of cammy's bride'smaids that is also one of her.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Coworkers.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Oh she walked up to me and asked HOW i,
was AND i SAID i was fine and told her
it was good to see. Her then she apologized for
being two, forward but wanted to know If cammy AND
i ever made up after our incident before her. Wedding. Hmmm,
CONFUSED i asked what the incident, was and she eventually

(38:30):
told me THAT cammi explained to the bridal party THAT
i chose to leave because of my feelings For andrew
and THAT i couldn't see him get married because HOW i.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Felt, dude, dude, no, wait, no, no, no, no this
is a.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Good this is a good BECAUSE i got excited BECAUSE
i was, like, oh clot back.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Easy we have no. Evidence it was all.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Verbal, yeah well well, well, well well well.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Wait Really andrew knows that.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Happened he an't gonna, say you, think because he wants
to be married To, Cammy he's not gonna tell say.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
YEAH i mean an, Opie opie really is back into
a corner. Here, also it's just it's just it just
blows my mind Because cammy like got away with, it
Like cammy was Like. ANDREW i, GUESS i guess no
one else. Knew andrew let it. Slide they had the,
wedding And opie, disappeared Like cammy literally could have gotten

(39:26):
away with. It but now by by saying all this
crap ABOUT, opi you're Inviting opie to come back and
start telling the truth about.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
THAT i don't, know it's.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Tough i'll, say right at this point in the, Story i'll,
say you want to like clear your name and tell,
people especially, uh this.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
This friend of the.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Truth, yeah it's just because you're right there on that. Moment,
yeah but this is. Tough cam, dude get, smarter think
of a better. Excuse, yeah be a be a better,
villain you, know don't be a bad. Villain my, God, Like.

Speaker 3 (39:56):

Died, well, no there's something like. That come, on, dolly he's. Vengeful,
okay what is? So? Pee? BUBBY i was a.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Paulp not only DID i not have any romantic failings For,
ANDREW i never even really liked. HIM i told the
bridesmaid that the REASON i left was Because cammy's affair
with her, coworker who she knows as, well because they
all work. Together Right WHEN i told her, that the
bridesmaid said she Remembered cammy and the coworker being close

(40:27):
didn't know about the.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Affair she left the coffee shop.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Not long after the, Conversation AND i feel guilty about
telling her that SINCE i haven't told. Anyone my boyfriend says,
me telling her that makes it look as If i'm
trying to Hurt cammy And, andrew therefore making it seem
as IF i do Like. Andrew AM i the a
hole for telling her? THAT i don't know if she
Told cammy WHAT i. SAID i don't know How cammy

(40:53):
And andrew are, doing BUT i do feel bad THAT
i shared her business to someone she works.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
With we got. Calm this is so. TOUGH i don't, Know,
sophia what what what do you? THINK i?

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Mean this is this is kind of a really tough.
Scenario you're so you're basically you stepped out of the
wedding because you're, like all, right she's like cheating and
all this and. Whatever step away from the, friendship right
then you find out that your Friend cammy has been saying, like,
oh you had feelings for my, fiance that's why you
didn't show, up and you were like secretly pining for,

(41:25):
him you, know the truth that she, cheated and like
it was just like she didn't even, Care LIKE i don't,
know what are?

Speaker 1 (41:32):
You what are your? Thoughts i'm like lost, here. HONESTLY i,
well it's.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
Like you're not even friends with her.

Speaker 5 (41:36):
Anymore but if you have any mutual, friends maybe, like,
hey that's not true.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
At, All, yeah WHICH i think they.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
Do, yeah maybe just telling like anyone you're, like, hey
oh my, GOD i heard That cammy was saying this.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
About, Me like just say it's not. True, yeah because you.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
Can, yeah because you can, say, hey that's absolutely not the.
Case she's like kind of spreading this rumor about, me
and you don't have to.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
Reveal, yeah you don't have to do any.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Other.

Speaker 4 (42:01):
Yeah it's, like, ooh that's like a weird thing for
her to say it's not.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
True, Yeah emma SAYS opi was backed into a. Corner
she had no choice but to say the. TRUTH i
will say saying the truth is the right thing to. Do,
yeah just does make her look bad because the boyfriend
makes a pretty good. Point it kind of seemed like
she did Like andrew in the first. Place she's trying
to Hurt.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Cammy, YEAH i, think AND i Think cammy knew, that
and that's why she spread that specific lie because she's, like,
Oh i'm Gonna i'm gonna say this And opie is
now f't because If opie tells anyone the, truth it
just looks, like, oh she was the one that made
it up and she's.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
JEALOUS i think it's mean.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Girl DID i Think cammy totally mean girled? It, HONESTLY
i THINK i was like. DEBATING i Think i'm at
least as of right now aligning With, sophia but just, say,
hey that's not. True it sucks because people still might
think it is Because camy said it. First, like, HONESTLY
i think because of the, way you, know Cam cammy evily.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
MASTERMINDED i do.

Speaker 4 (42:58):
Think that's a certain Point cammi will just reveal.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
Her true nature to these people and then they'll be,
like oh that you know that was a lie because
that's happened to me where someone was like spreading lines about,
me and LIKE i had some people who were, like
that doesn't sound, right BUT i guess that's. True and
then like months later we're, like, oh, yeah she said
that about, you and like Now i'm realizing that was
a total.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Lie, okay so the truth will find a. Way, yeah
what a great real life. Example my.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
GOODNESS i JUST i just wish you had a little
bit more, evidence, like, oh look at, This.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Yeah it's it's we're now trapped in the corner we're. In,
YEAH i, think, say, hey that's not true about, me
and then just let, it let it brief.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
Them there.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
Agreed we got, Comments Oh god coming number, one not

her HOW i always felt uneasy About andrew and how
she should have. Listened jenna Asked, cammy why WOULD i
CAUSE i was so in love with, Him and that's
When cammy came clean and told her about the lie
and about her affair with their. Coworker so now she's
telling the probably Because andrew's a horrible, person and her

(46:24):

of her. Affair he waited until there was a ring
on her finger to really tell her how he felt
about the. CHEATING i Asked jenna If cammy said anything
about still seeing the coworker while they were, married And jenna,

(47:23):
Said cammy is still seeing, him but swears it's just a. Friendship,
now that's Why andrew was so upset with. Her they're friends, Now,
uh you could do stuff and definitely become friends.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Afterwards come, on oh, man, okay.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
Right, No jenna did admit to me that she Told
cammy he saw me the other. Day she Made cammy
ask if he'd Think i'd be willing to talk to.
Her jenna told her that she didn't, know but could
try to see what would. Happen cammy hasn't reached out
to me, yet AND i don't know if she. WILL

(47:58):
i don't know WHAT i will do if she. Does
but that's the update about her for. Now i've noticed
there were a few people in my last post talking
about my boyfriend's response to let you. KNOW i did
ask him about, it and he did say he was
more worried about how it made me look in that.
Moment i'll accept that answer for, now but if he acts,

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Woman, YEAH i, mean she like she's definitely like all
over the place and not like you, know before all
this the cheating was it was not. Good but, YEAH

Yeah they're just both terrible in their own. Ways, yeah, agreed,
agree But andrew was much more. Terrible, yeah stop wondering
if she'll reach out to, you and just block her
already unless you enjoy eating popcorn as you watch her drama.
Unfold there's really nothing for you, here is. There can
you ever really truly respect her like you did before

she immediately called. Me she was. Crying she kept saying
she had no Idea andrew was like that and wished
we paid more attention to about HOW i felt about.

(51:37):
HIM i told her THAT i had no idea he
was doing, that And i'm sorry for how he. Was
she said something about being a hot divorce hot.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Divorcee she was saying something.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
About being a hot divorcee and a few other things about,
this finally freeing her as if she wasn't actually cheating
On andrew throughout most of their. Relationship she, asked HOW
i was? Doing, wow he's, uh he's really looking for.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
THEM i, MEAN i feel bad for her in this
sense of LIKE i do honestly believe that she didn't
know he was doing all this.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
Stuff but then, yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:13):
Again it's, like, dude you were literally cheating on this
guy the whole time you married. Him you didn't have
to do any of. That you didn't have to do
any of, this just like be, like you know, What i'm.
Cheating let me not do this to, you let me,
Leave let me not only not just, leave let me
not get married to. You let me not go to
like the final boss after, anyways, agreed agreed anyways in the, fact.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Like you, know if my wife got put, GEL i
want to be, like, Man i'm. Hot i'm a silber.

me locking her. Husband, guys we will spread lines about
you unless you go to your favorite podcast platform searchow

and we won't call you bad. Listener oh are you
a good?

Speaker 1 (53:01):

Speaker 3 (53:03):
It she didn't. Apologize she hope he's what's this one's
name Not Jena, Cammy Cammy cammy's. Heart she just needs
her sister right. Now should we wait for the apology
kind of help her in this.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Moment my gut is SAYING i will console her in
this moment because it's like that is a crazy thing
to have happen With, Andrew, like, YEAH i, do like
if we're like kind of like we can kind of
like look at things a little, isolated you, know or
like one by.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
ONE i guess you could say that does.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
Suck, YEAH i THINK i would console her on that
phone call and be, like you know that that is
really hard and that like you, know like that does.
Suck WOULD i continue to console her WHEN i continue
to answer more phone calls and like build a. FRIENDSHIP
i think after like shortly after, that you could be, like, hey,
Look i'm glad that you KNOW i was able to
be there for, you and you're kind of like you,
know like right after you, know when it was raw

(53:53):
and and hopefully that was helpful to, have you, know
have that.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
CONVERSATION i wanted to be there for you in that.

Speaker 2 (53:59):
Moment how, however like you're out, here you, know cheating
on this, guy like all this stuff is going, on
you speak this lie about, me never, apologize like that's.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
TRUE i just need to protect my. Peace and, YEAH
i just need to keep, it keep it. PUSHING i
don't THINK i can keep DOING.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
I forgot about the part WHERE opi was very like
uncomfortable with the.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Cheatings, yeah, yeah she told her about, It. Cammy kimmy
was like brushing her off for. That kimmy made up
that crazy lie that also like basically Put op in
a corner like If op told the truth and she
would look like even more of the a. Hole So
kimmy really did some some mean stuff To. OP i
think we have one moment of of of uh, uh you,

(54:42):
know mercy and, empathy and then after that we can be, like,
Hey i'm protecting my.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
PEACE i, Agree, SOPHIA i.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
Agree last little, BIT i asked if we were going
to talk about what she said to the bridal party
about my. Absence she, paused, laughed and asked me IF
i was really upset over something that wasn't as bad
as What andrew ended.

Speaker 1 (54:59):
Up, Cammy, okay, yes. GOODBYE i just hung.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
UP i probably wouldn't have had IF i didn't read
your comment on my last update saying not to give
her the time of, day and you were all, right
she does not care about, me after all we've been through.
TOGETHER i blocked her, number SO i don't know if
she's tried to reach out, again But i'm. Done and
that's the. Update all, Right well you, go, HEY i.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
MEAN i love. That all's. Well that ends.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Well andrew's out of her life because he's literally in.
Jail cammy's out of her life because she realized, that, like,
hey you.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
Suck, yeah all's, well that she has now removed all
of these crazy people from her life and now she
gets to pursue her.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
Stuff, yeah just go be with the, coworker cheat on.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Him yeah yeah, yeah away from, me far far far.

Speaker 3 (55:47):
Away and so one more quick, thing AND i know
real quick THAT opi is definitely gonna be looking back
and being, like oh, yeah She cammy definitely did this
to me and used me in this, instance like once
you see the red flags at flags.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Were, yes, yes she now sees the, truth, uh AND
i see a sad, truth and that is that this
episode is absolutely over.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
