Speaker 1 (01:44):
Okay, well we're gonna get started. You said you don't
know how to cook.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Worst cook in the game. I do not cook at all.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Don't worry. Can you just do? You don't have to
measure with your heart?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Oh yeah, hell yeah, yeah, I got a strong heart.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
All right, cool we're gonna do salt and pepper. Okay,
all my hand are watched and clean.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, yeah, okay, you need it. I think I can

some salt Bay. I can get some salt Bay action going. Okay,
let me know how much?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Just no, you got it.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I gotta guess it's the heart. What is too salty?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
It's the heart?

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Did it do?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
With this one right here, both of all of them,
I'll do to you do too.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, okay, you're ready ready. You won't get something. You
won't get something. Oh you know about this? Look that's
perfect in my opinion, I would stop right here. Really,
that's why I said.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Okay, you want to see what I would do.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's not but you're not doing a salt bay. That's
not fun.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah, it gets a little hard.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Okay, No, that's dope.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I think that's good.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
And I forgot to flip him.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
No more we pepper though, Oh yeah, pepper? And then
so how old are you doing?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I am damn. I don't call me an unk because
I've been getting called I'm auntie. Okay, all right, I turned.
My birthday is actually October eighteenth next month, I turned
twenty six next month.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Really, well, well then I'm aunty for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I guess how old I am twenty one?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Dude, you're just saying that to me.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Nice, I'm so serious. Okay, okay, okay. Two.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Well I'm turning twenty eight October third.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Oh no, you you're chilling, you like you got you
got a lot. You gotta you got a lot.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Oh my gosh, dude, you're so cool. Honestly, look this
is how me Well, we didn't need this is the
first time we meet. Actually, guys, yeah, being like for real,
for real, honest. But I told him off camera, like
I've been a follower since Jeb Blue days. If you
guys didn't know, he used to work at the airport.
Can I say the airport? You was a Burbank rave.

(03:37):
I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
So I started in Florida. I'm from Orlando, Okay, and
then I used to think airport. Yeah, so I worked
in Orlando, and I wanted to move back to LA
to like do the whole social media thing.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
You're right, yes, okay, uh huh.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yes, So I started in Orlando. Shout out MCO. I
worked at Orlando Airport. And then I moved to LA
because I wanted to do the whole social media thing,
and so I do it. I put a transfer into LAX.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
So I worked at LAX for like a year and
a half or two right about, and then I got fired. Yeah,
I got fired. I got fired.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
But it's cool or you knew, Like, did you feel
like that needed to happen?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
No, I for sure needed to happen because I was
never gonna I was I probably would have never done
like I'm gonna quit and do this. Honestly, I felt
like I needed to get fired in order to pursue
my dreams.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Which, okay, do you think that it held you back
like that?

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Right? Yeah? Like me Borgain, I just blue? Yeah yeah, yeah,
one hundred percent. Even though I did make some I
think I definitely grew a little bit of a following
because of the tiktoks I was making at the airport
and all that stuff. But definitely it gave me that push.
It was like sink or swim. When I got fired.
It was like do I get another nine to five
job or do I go for that?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
When I got fired, Because.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
No, I didn't get fired because of tiktoks. I did
get sit down by the supervisors and the managers GMS
like multiple times they were like, hey, like you're doing
these videos on the clock and it's causing distractions and
all this stuff. And then people it got to a
point when it was going really viral that like client
like customers coming in and they'll be asking for me, like, oh,
is that guy here is Diego? Here is the guy

(05:08):
that makes the TikTok. So they were like oh no, no, no,
no motion. But it did become like people were like
would come and check in at the airport and they
would ask for me, and then I would or like
sometimes I'll be eating in the lunch room in the
break room and they'll be like, yo, Diego, there's somebody
out here that wants to meet you and stuff. Oh yeah,
it was cool. I loved it. But then yeah I
got fired. Yeah yeah, But no I didn't get fired

(05:29):
for that. I got fired because I was short thirteen
hours of my minimum requirements of the quarter. You have
to have certain hours every quarter, and I was short
thirteen hours. Pose No I didn't. I actually I saw
on everything. I just at the time, I would like
travel a lot. I used to fly free. So I
used to just travel everywhere and then give away my
ships because sometimes I wanted to stay back and do

(05:51):
videos and like, yeah, so I just got it, got
I slipped away, and then I got fired because I
was short thirteen hours and I begged for like I
was like, please let me come back, like I'll work
at thirteen hour shift right now and make up for
the hours. And now they fired me.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Bro one door closes, another door open.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Planned, Ultimately, I believe in it.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
In the moment, it was a little it was like
I wasn't sad. It was more like I was scared
to tell my mom that I got fired.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I have a Hispanic mom, so like right, the.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Pressure, Yeah, it's like you're irresponsible.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah, very yeah, yeah your mom you know Hispanic parents
are always like take care of your job and you know,
like just take care of everything, right, And so then
I told her what I wanted to do, and she's
just kind of like she's like, what are you doing?
Like you went to school, Yeah, your degree for what.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
They don't understand it.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, they don't understand like how this all of this works.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
It works.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, And now she understands that it's cool. It's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Are you an only child?

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I have an older brother. He's like he unkunk if
I'm twenty six, he's like thirty one, thirty two. Oh,
I think that's grandpa. To be honest, man, hey, man, I.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Have two more years, so thirty I'm no, you're gonna go,
but you're good.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I think like for girls is different.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Right, Okay, you're not nervous like now you're you're turning twenty.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Six, am, I am nervous. It sucks you're nervous, yeah,
because it's like damn, it's like about to entiur next
chapter soon. It's a trip. I don't know. Twenty five yeah,
I don't. I don't want to think about it. I
don't think about it. But yeah, I'm good. I got
like five more years than me. How long do you
think you'll be doing social media for?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Honestly, look, and I haven't even said this like anywhere
or whatever, but I'm gonna give this maybe a couple
more like two three years because I want to focus
on certain businesses.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
So yeah, I want to open up certain businesses.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I don't want to say too much because then you know,
you keep it. Yeah, but I do want to do
something that it'll definitely take a lot of my time away,
and I feel like it'll be better in the long run,
like you're getting older, like I'm getting older.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
So it's just like, Okay, I.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Want to be not that this is immature, and I
do like I don't want to get too comfortable here right.
I'm good. I love doing this, but I do feel
like I need.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
To be shocken up a little bit, try something to
do something different.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
One thousand.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
So how'd your relationship with your brother?

Speaker 2 (08:13):
It's cool, you know from here and there, cho we
chop it up. It's not like he lives in Ecuador,
so it's a little different.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Okay, wait, sorry, did you grow up in Ecuador?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Like? Yeah, So I was born in Ecuador. I lived
there until I was six years old, and then I
moved to the Orlando, Florida. My mom moved to Orlando,
so quick story. So my mom when I was five,
she moved to Florida. First she lived there for a
year with my stepfather, and then me and my brother
stayed back in Ecuador. I stayed with my godparents at
the time. My brother spent more time with his grandma

(08:42):
or with our Grandma. Sorry. And then a year later,
like no, Spedio like to come to the States, and
so then I came to the States at six ish,
and then you know, I got my residency first and
then my citizenship. My my mom married. My stepdad was white,
so my stepdad is actually from California, but he move
to Florida. He was a GM at a golf course,
so he played golf.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
And all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yeah, and then they got married. I got citizenship a
few years later. My brother, my mom were all good.
And then yeah, I went to school there. I went
to school in Florida, Orlando four oh seven, shot off
four seven, and then I graduated high school, went to college,
graduated college.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Now here do you remember growing up?

Speaker 2 (09:25):
It was cool? I mean yeah, I think I had
I had a good childhood. I mean I wasn't. We
weren't actually like raised. We didn't have like crazy money either.
It's like just you know, I I love going back.
I was just there like two weeks ago, but I
love going back. It's always very humbling, like you know,
trying to seeing my family, seeing I always just go
back to where I grew up, and it's cool. I

(09:45):
love it.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah, I've never I've never been to Ecuador, so I'm like,
I'm interested. I do want to see you know sho Ainah. Yeah,
she's she's from Ecuador. She loves it. Her family's over
there to why look, No, I don't want anything like
sound disrespectful. It's not disrespectful, but like you know, it's
a little scary, but I'll do it.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, I'll try this. Dude is like, let's get this
podcast for like twenty thousand likes. I'm so serious. I'm
never okay, So I'm not okay. Deal. I'm actually not
from the part so Shady Bay. If I'm not mistaken,
I might be wrong.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
There might be different cities. They have specialties.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yes, correct, Yeah, so she's from I think I guess
that I might be wrong, but she might be from
like Gwenca or she's probably her family's probably from La
Sierra we call it, and they eat more of like
that stuff, you know. Like Guy, I'm on Yaku. I'm
like from the coast, so we're near the water, the ocean,
so we eat a lot of seafood, so we eat
like more. I personally never had guy from Ecuador, but

(10:45):
we did it for a video on the Chico Stokes
Egos channel. We did. We had guy here, one of
our friends from Peru, how to how to little guinea pig,
and we just chopped that shit up.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, Peru and Ecuador have very like similar the exactly
high feel.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Yes, yeah, I will say Peru has great Savicha.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
I love. I've been to Peru. Have you been there?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Never? I want to go to Machupicu.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I wanted too. I heard that that is like you
have to first mentally prepared, but physically prepared. It's very
like heavy on the body. You have to like make
sure you have like good electrolyzed all that stuff. I
guess it's a good hike and you have to get
it at good weather. You go and it's just cloudy,
you're missing out on the whole bank. We're gonna go
on a quick break, you guys, and we're gonna come

(11:29):
back and enjoying me. Welcome back, you guys. I love Peru,
been to Peru? What has been your favorite place to
travel to mister Jeb Blue.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Damn, that's a great question. I'll probably have to say.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
I would love to say summer. I think I'm gonna
say probably like Madrid. I think Madrid's up there. I
think are like the culture is cool, it's a little different.
It's a lot of history, great food, great vibes. And
I'm also around Madrid fan. I was gonna say so yeah, soccer.
So it's like I think Madrid probably been my favorite.

(12:04):
And I I have an aunt and uncle there, so
I get to like go visit and it's like family
vibes over there.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Yeah, I've been in Madrid. I love traveling.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Like have you what's how many like out of all
the places you've been to, what's your favorite spot?

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Italy? Oh really, I've been to Florence, Italy. I love that,
love that city versus Nice. I love Europe in general.
I think Europe is very like it's a culture shock.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeah, I went to Rome. I've been to Rome. Yeah,
clockett No, this is this is clock this is that's
trying to stay I'm trying to keep up with the youth.
Trying to keep up with the youth. Anyways, Italy. Yeah,
I've been to Rome. I would say it's very ancient.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Yes, it's too touristy now though.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I haven't been since I was
twenty sixteen. That's when I graduated high school. I want
my mom, So yeah, it was Rome. My mom's also
very religious, and so she like, we may went to
the Vatican City and we did the whole shebang.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
It's really nice.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah yeah, very like I said, very ancient and just
a lot of history there too.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Are you close to your mom, Yeah, very close to her.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah that's mom. I mean my mom my mom,
Like yeah, like that's my mom my, MoMA's boy. For
a while, we did have a I hate to say it,
but there was like a little fallout, especially during this
whole social media journey, because she didn't know what I
was doing. She you know, she wasn't really supportive at first,
which sucks because like you would like want your parents
to for you, right, but you know, you can't blame

(13:33):
them at the end of the day. Parents just want
the best for you, and they didn't know. She doesn't know.
She didn't know how things how I got money, and
how things work and stuff like that. But as the
time went on, you know, I was able to explain
it to her a little better, and now we're good. Now.
You know, whatever she needs, she's always gonna she's always
gonna good for.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Her understand it.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah, and she's saying like the food of it.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Like yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. She definitely she's very supportive
and it's cool, you know. Funny enough. I was she's
at the gym. I was just at the gym and
she called me and she was like, hey, what are
you doing, like just you know, trying to talk really quick,
and I was like, we finished a conversation and I
was like, all right, I'm gonna I gotta go. I'm
filming right now. But before I would always hide it,
like I would always be like, oh, I'm busy right now,

(14:15):
or like I'm or like there was times I would
tell her I filming. This was before anything, right, and
she was like what are you doing, like go get
a job, like you're wasting your time and all this stuff.
But now it's crazy because I get off the phone
now and it's like, y'all, I gotta go film. She's
like okay, like and it's cool because it's like, Okay,
now she understands. Yeah, yeah, now she understands. And it's
a good feeling.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Honestly, look as because I could understand where she's coming
from too, because if I were to like tell my
niece now, Like I'm not saying that if you were
to tell me, like, oh, I want to be an
influencer or whatever, I'm not going to tell her she's
not not to do it or whatever. But I think
it's just like a specific space that you have to have,
like a character or like a good head on your shoulders. Yeah,

(14:55):
because it's like, yeah, everybody wants to do this, but
they also don't want to put in the work or
understand it. What is you learn in these like from
Jet Blue days, from Florida days to now.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Social media was Yeah, damn, I would say, just I've
learned a lot lot. The main thing I've learned is
to two things. Stay consistent and like if you really
truly believe in yourself, like stay consistent, and then just
don't let anybody like down talk you, even if it's
like your friends, your family, it's comments like strangers that

(15:31):
may be commenting on your stuff. I think that's a lot.
That's where a lot of people's breaking point is is
not knowing how to handle on the social media hate.
And I think a lot of people might just let
things get to them. I've just got I've reached the
point where I just like, I don't I really kind
of curse on him. Yeah, yeah, I just don't give
a fuck about what about me. I genuinely I reached

(15:51):
the point in my life.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
But did it ever get to a point where it
did thought of you?

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Yeah? At first, I remember I would first post these
tiktoks like I'm not gonna lie. I was like one
of those cringey TikTokers trying to do dances or like
lipsing and stuff like that, which was a phase. I
feel like everybody had a phase at one point, and
I was like in that phase. Yeah, I was in
a phase. In my hometown peers, I knew they were
like they would talk shit or I remember one time vividly,

(16:20):
I made a video of me doing like lipsing, and
there was like these three hometown girls like that. We
went to call I went to college with together, three
or four and we went to college together, and they
were mocking me, like they did a duet and on
the left side it was me like doing my thing.
And then on the last night they were mocking me.
They were like like trying to like mimic my faces
and trying to lip syn. So I remember that vividly,
like I was like, oh, like damn, these they were

(16:41):
kind of like making fun of me and talking shit,
and so yeah, I think then I reached the point
I was like, well, people are gonna just talk shit regardless,
so I'm gonna just keep posting and keep doing my thing.
And yeah, I just learned to not give a fuck
about anything anybody. And I think that's been the best
thing that has happened to me.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Now, did you ever want to give up? Did it
get to a point where it's like, not I'm not
talking about comments or whatever, but that you were trying
so hard, Yeah, and that you were at your break,
like the breaking point.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah. I think, especially for YouTube. I've been doing YouTube since,
like I've always wanted to do YouTube. I think there's
a video of me out there. I was like seven
years old in my apartment in Florida. It was me
dancing to Oh my God by Usher and it was yeah,
I remember so vividly. It was like my brother we
had a I think those cameras at the time were
called logit the logitechs. Do you know what camera that is?

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (17:34):
And if you see if anybody finds that that video.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
It's the one that connects on top of the.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yes yes, and you'll see that like that footage is
so blurry because like back then, the cameras weren't what
we have now, right, and so it's like it was
me dancing like to oh my God by Usher. And
so I've been trying to do YouTube. I remember I would.
I did YouTube at that when I was like seven
years old whatever, uploaded obviously as a kid, I didn't
know much about it. And then I picked it up again,
I think when I was like sixteen, when I was

(18:03):
in high school. I think, I know, like senior year
of like freshman year of college. I remember I tried
it again. I did a blog. I did two blogs,
stopped again because it was like I put in so
much time on the edits everything, and it got like
it got like fifty views, right, And then I picked
it up again when I came to LA and I
moved out here and I tried blogging, and again it

(18:25):
was going nowhere. I think it was still like three
hundred views, right, So I stopped again and then I
gave it one more go. So I never gave up,
but it was like I gave up for a bit,
and then I would try again, gave up for a bit,
try again, gave up for a bit. So then I
did it one more, go for my boy Felipe.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Right, and then we just the birth of Chico Stoke.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
The birth of Chico Stokes.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Okay, tell me about that, how like the name and everything,
Like how.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
You guys met so Philippe and I we met at
the gym Zoo Culture. So when I came to LA
and I moved here, I had like a game plan.
I was like, the blue print is to go to
Zoo Culture because at the time, this is when all
these big influencers were going in training. So it was
like I would see Noah back the Millios, Brice Hall,
like everybody was going to this gym. So I was like, Okay,

(19:12):
but I moved to LA. I'm gonna go to Zook
Culture and I'm gonna like familiarize myself with everybody there
and try to be friends and stuff like that. Right.
So then I moved to La. I got a I
had a roommate at the time, and I was paying rent.
And then I went to the gym and I met
Felipe there. Filippe was working out there. Yeah, I met
Felipe there. At the time, I had already a little bit,

(19:34):
a little bit of a following on TikTok from doing
airport videos in Florida. I didn't do like my whole
must be nice thing where I really like the TikTok
airport thing went crazy here in LA But anyways, I
probably had like I don't know, like ninety k on TikTok,
one hundred k on TikTok, and then Felipe was just
starting off his social media journey right here. Okay, Felipe

(19:57):
was doing he just started his social media journey. I
think he had, like I thought I was followers on
Instagram and maybe like ten k on TikTok or the
ak it was something crazy like that. And he just
came up to me one day and he was like, hey, bro,
have this TikTok idea. Do you want to do it
with me? And I was like, yeah, what's the idea?
And he ran it. We ran it, and I kid
you not. The very first video of him and I
did it went viral, did a million views, wow, And

(20:18):
it was his first ever one million dude videos.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
He was a goof too.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, yeah, I send you guys together.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
So yeah, and so because of him, you know, we
were like, oh, like damn, it went viral and we
just started making contents together. We were like, let's do
tiktoks and instagrams and all that stuff. And then we
did that for like two years and then I just
got This was when I got fired. I was, yeah,
I was already I didn't have a job. It was
like two months after I got fired. We were in
my house. We were on the couch and I looked

(20:44):
at Philip and we were on our phones. She's literally
doing nothing. And I looked at Philipe and I'm like, yo,
what are we doing with our lives? Bro? Like we
filmed tiktoks, which take like ten minutes of our life,
and then we don't do anything all day, Like what
are we doing? And he's like, bro, what are you
talking about? You good? And I was like yeah, but
like let's do something more, like we should be doing
more with our time. And then that's when I was like,
let's do YouTube and he's like all I bet, let's
let's do it. Then like let's run it. So we

(21:07):
that same day were like, okay, what's the YouTube Chanel?
I was like, what's the YouTube channel? Gonna be called
because it's a group, it's you and me. It's not
just me. At the time, it was just me Diego Toboo,
and I would like, I said, I would blog here
in La I would have in my videos and stuff
like that. But he was like, if it's gonna be
a group, we need a name. And so then we
were sitting down in the laptop and I'm like, all right,
what's gonna be the name? And he's like, man, what

(21:28):
about Chico Stoke Sequels. I was like, fuck, yeah, yeah,
that's hard. I was like, yeah, that's dope. But the
funny story about that name is he had tried that
name a few years ago with his channel. He had
his boys too. This was like three years ago, and
his his channel was like his name right, And then
his friends were like, Yo, we're gonna all be in
your videos. It should be a group channel name. And
Phelipe was like, okay, yeah, let's what's the name gonna be?

(21:50):
And they were throwing names, throwing names, and then Philippe
was like, okay, what about Chico Stoke Sequels. They're like, nah,
that's corny, Like that's so lame, and he was like, oh, yeah, whatever,
what right, You're the one that said yet. So then
three years later he asked, you know, when I asked
him the question, I was like, what's going to be
the name? And he's like he because he now he
tells me the story. He's like, I just threw that
name out there because I was like, fucking maybe it lands.

(22:11):
And then he's like, Chico STOKESI goulls And I was like, hell, yeah, yeah,
that's gonna be the name. And then we ran with that. Dude,
that's the birth of Chico Stokes.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
That's so cool.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
The story of the name is cool.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
And it's yeah, it's a dope story every time I
tell it.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
So it's not because like you guys are actual toxiculls
or whatever.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Like I don't know, I don't know. I mean, we
can let the people decide if they watch their videos.
Our video is a little more edgy. I'm not gonna lie.
We're a little more on the edgy side. We do
have a we have a ninety like seven percent male
audience for a reason. The girls don't really like the
jokes too much, but you know I did. It's it's
just jokes. It's entertainment. Yeah, yeah, for sure, Maybe I

(22:47):
don't know. Maybe then again, maybe they're not jokes. Maybe
they're just we're actually toxics.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
He's clipping.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Because I because I was thinking, I'm like, you know
what for a name like that, Like you guys don't
really post about your love lives in general? Is it existing?
Do you have a love life.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
I do have a love life. Yeah, I have a girlfriend. Yeah,
we've been together in two years. Yeah, two years. So yeah,
I do have a love life. It's just we all,
we all we actually all have a girlfriend. I'm not
gonna lie to you. We all have girls, but we're
more private about it just because, like I said, we
do have a big, big male audience. One, so just

(23:29):
try to be like more cautious and then two, at
least for me personally, I've seen a lot of couple pages.
Couple quick.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
You have to keep it for yourself.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeah, because it's like we're already I'm gonna like I
always say this, what you see on camera with us
is what you what we are, and who we are
off camera as well, Like we don't put up a persona.
We don't we don't fake our personalities in front of
a camera, and so I feel like we're pretty already much,
very very vulnerable with our audience as far as our
personal lives, our lives, you know, every we show them everything,
and so it's like we gotta we got to keep

(24:00):
something private, you know, And so I'd rather just keep
my relationship. Yeah, well it's known, like we all everybody
knows we have a girlfriend. It's just a matter of
like it's not a secret, it's just we just were
like more private about it, at least me personally. Like
I said, I just rather no.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
I agree, I'm for that too, because honestly, like you're
already openiating not you, but like people opiniating on like
the videos or tiktoks or whatever, it's like just one
last thing for at least for myself. I get it,
and I like and it's something that I feel like
that's gonna last longer obviously than anything else.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
So you got to.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
Take care of it and protect it, like I said, Yeah,
like a lot of these couple pages, TikTok's YouTubers, they
they go it's good, and you know, people love it,
don't get me wrong, Like they get all the views,
all the love, and then it's just for some reason,
like a year later, boom they break up and on
the internet they have to explain the internet what happened.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
And Hey, because dude, I believe in like people wish bad,
you know, they don't want the best for you, and
it comes down to a point where it will affect Yeah,
and that's the truth.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, it's a lot of I mean, we live in
a world like there's a lot of envious people out there,
you know.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Good did your mom ever tell you about the.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Clocking about I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
It's a saying that hispanics say, I can't think of it, but.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
It's like, yeah, yeah, my mom's always taught me like
moving silence, don't tell people your plans, don't tell anybody
anything because then it just doesn't happen.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Sorry, excuse me.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Sorry. So yeah, definitely firm believer in that. We've definitely,
at least us as as our business. We always we're
always working on stuff, but we don't tell anything to
anybody until it lands, like until we're about to drop,
like like next month, and we'll be like, okay, we're
dropping this now. But it's been in the works for
like three months or four months or even in a year.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Dude, No, I was in the moment. That's why I
messaged you too, because I saw you guys.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
In ZOOMI oh yeah, we are.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
That is fire. It is like, oh, like wow, this
is crazy. Like I've seen I saw around too and everything,
and I'm like, wow, this is so cool. This is
so like just the Hispanic culture in general, Like it's amazing,
it's beautiful. But I also like love seeing just people
grow and like succeed. And I think, like I told you,

(26:21):
since I've been watching you from a long ast time ago,
like putting in the work, You've been working really hard.
How does it feel like? And I don't want to
get too personal. And I know that you have your
private life and I won't respect it, but I know
that what you've been through and I know like about
your dad and everything, like I respect it. But to
me as someone that has also been in the same

(26:42):
position and as you and trying to succeed and continue
to make it even after the fact, like it's hard.
So I'm just like I want, like, how do you
feel like now that dude, you're in storage. You guys
are in stores, which is insane like places that we
shop at growing up or like people just passing by

(27:02):
every day.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Yeah, I'm so confused. You want me look at this camera? No? Yeah, okay, okay,
I'm so sorry. I'll I don't want to, all right. No, Honestly,
it's like it's always in. It's an emotional roller coaster.
It's like, you know, some days I have really good days,
and then some days I'm like, damn it sucks, you know,
because uh, it's always in. It's an emotional roller coaster.
It's like, you know, some days I have really good days,

(27:25):
and then some days I'm like, damn it sucks, you
know cause uh yeah, like my dad passed last year,
August fifteenth, he passed, so yeah, you know, it's it's weird.
It's really weird the timeframe of everything because when we
started the channel was November of twenty twenty three, right
and literally a month later December, like towards the end

(27:45):
of December. It was right before Christmas. I remember, I
get a call that he was diagnosed with cancer, and
I was like damn, Like, you know, we just started
this channel, was already really going good, like the first
month we just started growing and you know, everything was
going really well. And then I got hit with these
news like, yo, you're you know, I just got ditmailsed
with cancer and whatever, right, And at first it wasn't
really nothing too concerning M and so we kept pushing,

(28:07):
you know, I kept pushing through. It was like January,
I want to go visit I went to Christmas, I
went to New Year's. I did everything, and I came back.
And then when I came back is when we really
started like the business side of like, you know, let's
drop merchs, let's do hats, let's do this and that,
and so we did everything. Everything was going really good.
Our our audience, you know, we started growing, our channel
started growing. And then fast forward, like like I said

(28:30):
to August, then he was like you know, he's like yo, yeah,
Dad's like he's about to pass you know. And so
right then when he passed, I went I went to
go Actually I'm lying. A few months back, I went
to go visit him. And when I went to go
visit him, we were I already knew, like I was
there for like a week or so, and I can
tell he was really bad, Like it was like he
was just not healthy anymore. And so then we we

(28:54):
sat like as I was coming back to LA. I
sat on the bed one more time with him, and
literally already knew, like I already had a feeling. I
was like, this is gonna be the last time I
talked to my dad, Like I genuinely, I sat down
and when I was talking to him, and I just
like felt the vibe. I was like, like, I know,
this is going to be the last time I talked
to him for sure. And so that was like the
last moment I really took everything in. I have a picture.

(29:15):
I've never posted that picture. It's in my phone, but
I vividly remember like taking the picture with him, and
I was like, this is gonna be the last time
I had a picture with him for sure, Like I
just think honestly, towards the end, it was it was
a little sad, but he was like very he started
losing memory, and it was like a little sad. He
forgot basic stuff, like basic how to use a controller

(29:38):
for the TV, how to change the channel. And I
just realized it as soon as I got there, and
he started like just saying it certain stuff or the
way he was moving and stuff. I was like, he's
not okay anymore, Like and my dad was so I
was stepdad. I got to backtrack a little bit. That's
my stepdad. I don't talk to my biological father, okay,
and he just left my like my biological father left
me when I was like six. I never talked to him.

(29:59):
I don't know where he's at. So I consider him
like my dad. When I referred to my dad, it's
like I'm talking about my step dad. Yeah, and so this.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Is the one that your mom married, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
In the States. I was from here, and so he
was he was really sick. And then I was like,
I've never seen my like my dad was big, like
he was a big dude, over three hundred pounds, big
ass caps, like just stocky. And it went from like
three hundred to I kid you now like one hundred
and fifty pounds. And it was like this like it
was just really bad. So anyways, I took the picture

(30:29):
and I told him. I was like, you know, I
give him a hug, and I took the picture. And
then the last thing he said was like just he's like,
take care of your mom for me. I was like,
I got you, Like, I promise I'll take care of
my mom. And then he was like just take care
of your mom and I love you and all this stuff.
And then after that, you know, we would FaceTime and
he was in the hospital. Towards the end of his life.
He was in the hospital, he started getting into is
it the ICU or is it when?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Like when you're on ICU and all that stuff. And
then on the last day, I guess it's called hospice.
I think it was going the hospice was in the house,
though I don't know if that.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
So yeah, like that day, I get a call while
I was filming a video with one of my boys
for La Galaxy. I was filming a video of log
and right after I finished that video, I get the
call like, hey, like, your dad's like today's it? Like
this is it?

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Take a few hours and I booked a flight, tried
to get there as fast as I can, but I
just didn't make it in time. He passed from LA
to Florida. Yeah, and I got on the plane shout
out my boys too, Felipe at Brandon. They were very
supportive and they were like, hey, if you want us
to come with you, we'll come with you. And we
all that's same. As soon as we finished that blog,
bought my tickets to get a flight out. The next

(31:34):
flight was at nine pm, and he passed at midnight
in Orlando time. So then I got there and yeah,
he passed, you know, I was able to see his
body one last time or stuff like that. And then
I stayed there for like a week with my mom
or like a week and a half with my mom.
Then I went to Ecuador. Whole thing. We buried him
in Equador, right, But the question was how everything has

(31:54):
been with like, you know, the business, even trying to
push forward after every Yeah, after everything, it's tough. It's
tough because like the suckiest part about everything, I think
is when all these accomplishments are happening where we are,
we're selling out where I give. You know, I'm able
to bless my family, I'm able to bless my friends.

(32:18):
You know, when I go out and people come out
and show support and they want to take pictures, you know,
and they want to when we go to like host
meeting greets and we have the huge line of people
wanting to meet us, or like clubs, Like we go
to clubs and all these people are going crazy for us,
and it's like that's something you want to share. Yeah,
it's one of those moments that like I wish he
was here to see all this, you know, like he
didn't get to see any of this, and that's the

(32:40):
suckiest part of everything. It's just like wishing they were
able to see what you've built.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
But then in the back of my mind, I just
always got to keep in mind, like you know, he's
not here physically seeing it was just a for a
believer that he is watching.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Yeah, no, I believe it too. And like like I said,
like I've been, I've been doing the same thing.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
My dad was in the hospital too.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
My mom passed away too, So like I understand the
struggle of grief and then still moving on with life
because it doesn't feel normal. It feels like like where
do we go from here? And it's like you're stuck
in this space like it's been a while for me
and it's still very fresh for you. And my respects
to you and you know, condolences and whatever like that

(33:22):
you may need, like I have, I know what that
feels like for me. It's been a while where now
it's just like one it's it comes in waves, it
goes up and down, it's like so I get the
it's good one day, it's really bad another day, and
it's like, oh good, like whatever, you start thinking, you
get positive whatever for me. And now I'm at a point.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Where like.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Things are slowly starting to fade away. And that's what's
that's the part of grief where I'm just like, oh,
whoa like don't like because I've been holding on for
so long that it's like, because it's been a while,
a lot of things just disappear, and it's like that's
the one thing I don't want, you know, like because
it gets to a point like I don't know, like

(34:07):
and maybe this might be too personal, but like at
least for my mom, like I don't remember the.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
Way she sounds and that's like this is the.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Way that she laughs. Or my dad he passed away
when I was twelve, and now I'm like older, and
I'm just like I don't know, like the like a
hug of a father like something like that, like where
it's actually genuine and like like it's different. So I
get it. And it's just it's so it's such a

(34:37):
touchy subject and it's such a like, but it's such
a monumental moment in our lives, because I don't want
to say that God did it for a reason, because
he doesn't do bad things to harm us, but because
obviously there's nature, there's free will, there's things that are
out of our control. But I do believe like we are.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Equipped, like we are.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Put in these positions to like because he knows that
we're going to.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Get through this, you know.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
So. And it's also like this, like you said, it's
a topic that not many people can relate to, especially
I feel like our age, I've only talked about being able.
I mean, like I said, Philip and Brandon, they actually
lost their fathers too, So that's where we kind of
all relate to in a way.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
That's good though, like that you have those people.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
To like, yeah, you can talk about yeah and so.
But when you are like, you know, not everybody has
friends that like and you can talk to them about
because you like you said, it's like one thing people
can be like, you know, my condolences.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
And which I don't even like to say because.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
It's just like no, I mean's the right thing to say.
It's just that I feel like until it happens to you,
you really don't know like the feeling, you know, it's
it's really it's it's a feeling that I just you
can't really describe onto it. Like I said, it just
unfortunately happens to you. But yeah, I mean we've got
to keep it moving forward. And I just always go
back to the promise I made to him on the
last time I saw him. Yeah, and it's like, you know,

(36:00):
like those days that I don't like, Okay, what's the
what's what's the point of all this? What's the what's
the why am I going to keep filming for? Like
what is all this for?

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:09):
But then I just go back to that conversation of
me sitting down with him one last time and telling him,
you know, I made him that promise. You know, I
told him I was gonna take care of my mom.
And so then right then, it's just it's like a flip.
It's like a switch. It's just flips. I'm just like, Okay,
well it's time to grind, like, gotta keep going. And
it's it's a hard job, you know, social media. I
will tell you this, I respect anybody. What's hard people

(36:29):
fucking waking up at five am, going to work construction
and hot ass sun, or grinding their ass off trying
to get ahead. No, no, no, in my respect to anybody
putting in nine to five work, getting up and figuring
out a way, finding a way to make it happen,
you know, get the hustle, going come back to their
family at like seven pm my night, eat dinner with them.
That's like that's hard work, you know, trying to figure

(36:52):
out how the next check, where the next check is
gonna come from. So I would never complain about any
of this, you know, like when I'm saying I'm grinding,
and I'm all, this is not like I'm grinding, like
it's hard. It's more just like just putting the time then,
you know, time consuming and the energy into like the
cameras and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
So it's also not the easiest thing either, dude.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
We got to be creative. Like it's like sometimes there's
days where I don't even want to do anything. I'm
sure that you have those days too, where it's just
like I want to be a little bit, you know,
go back to a little bit of normalcy. And I
think that's where you were able to go back home
and do what you can right like to be with
your mom, because's so important and your and your.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Brother Eudor Ecuador.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah, we're gonna go on a quick break, you guys,
and we're going to come back and enjoying me. Welcome back,
you guys. We do taste tests.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
It'll be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
Great, let me tell you first, whold on?

Speaker 2 (37:48):
All right? Cool, it's good? Yeah, okay, what do you
want me to do? Like?

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Just how are you feeling? What are you feel in
your heart?

Speaker 2 (37:54):
I feel like can I get some water? Well let's
let's let's let's really, let's really get down to kneed
and greedy here. The presentation is amazing, all right, Okay,
we got the we got the bowl from this looks
like a or you get the bow. The ball is elegant,
it looks good like this isn't no, this isn't a

(38:16):
target ball.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
I could be target target.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Okay, well it looks fancy our place. Oh you see
so them right away. And the presentation. You got the
steak laid out perfect, you know, we got the mac
and cheese looks fire. So I think the presentation is
already a nine out of ten.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Nice, all right, cool, we'll see, let's see.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
I'll be honest with you.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
I have to be honest. I don't get my feelings
for the silence. Talks to me, Talk to me.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Talk to me.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
Give it like a like a six seven kidding, I'm kidding,
I'm gidding. It's a ten. It's a ten. It's amazing.
I was just hello, I was like oil farming right there.
But yes, it's amazing, it's amazing, it's really it's really good.
It's fire. It's amazing, really good. Yeah, yes, amazing. Sure,

(39:16):
highly recommend ten out of ten. It should be at
catch LA. That's how good. Really catch a run the
brand DEALO.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
All right, so I ended up to like close it
up that.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
We're I was just getting started.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
We're gonna talk, We're gonna actually no way, okay, So
I want to know about the podcast obviously. Okay, we've
talked about like loyal like in general life.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Are you a toxica? Do you think you're a toxica?

Speaker 1 (39:54):
I feel like I could be.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Yes, Okay, at least that's that's the hardest part, is
admitting that at least you're at it out the chest.
We're good, we're good to we're off to a head
start ahead, start guys. Look, the hardest the hardest thing
is when you ask a girl she's a toxica and
they say no, because that's the number one red flag
right there. They can't admit to it. They can't admit
to it.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
I could be. I'm not saying like, oh I'll go
crazy on you or whatever. No, but I do, like,
you know, like I.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Know when to be okay.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I feel I can see that too. Yeah,
but not in a bad way. But you what is what?
I don't know? Just it's something. You know, it's something.
But it's not bad to be a because I mean,
oh it's not because that means you care about the
man or woman. You know. I'm saying like, I'm just

(40:41):
saying in general, you can be a toxicat to your
man or to your woman or toxico. It means you care,
you know what I mean. Yeah, dude, that leans you're
admitting to it.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
And shout out to all the toxic out there.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
I know that they are and admit to it.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
The hardest thing is admitting mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Okay, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
I'm really laid back. I'm just a chill guy for real.
I'm I'm that ass. I'm so I'm literally the most chill,
laid back guy. I'm not the one to like be
like spamming the calls to text, like check the locations, Like,
ain't doing all that?

Speaker 1 (41:16):
You're giving yourself away, bro, everything.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
That you do, I promise you, I don't. I just
know that throws you got mindset. So I'm ting you
know what I mean, that's all it is.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
Yeah, okay, So how do you feel about it?

Speaker 2 (41:26):
Like, I know, you know, we look like I can't
say something. Okay, Look you look like let's say you
have a man. I don't know if you do or
not right, but let's say you have a man's like
he's out all night. He's out, he's like, yea, I'm
gonna go clubbing with the boys. And he's not posting
stories like you're probably gonna be looking like at his
friend's stories, trying to like zoom in and see like
who's in the section, like who where your man's at,
like if he's with her and if he would and

(41:48):
then like he get home and be like oh why
why why do you have to go on your section?
Why were you pulling like tequila and that girl's mouth
at the club, Like, what are you talking about? Like,
I saw, I saw the stories and then you boom.
It's like the stories from his friend and now his
friend rided him out and now he's gonna text his boy.
He's like, Bro, you gotta move more cautious. What are
you posting that happen to you? My boy? That's that's

(42:09):
that's the guy. That's that's the type of toxicated You
know what you do that you do that?

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Huhause the girls, girls are the c i A females,
Like they know everything before you even know.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
So that's why why so why do you go do
that knowing that.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Me and my girls are gonna go mm hmm clock clocke.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
No, it's very true. No, it's very true. You guys
are girls like even if you're not dating somebody. Like
let's say you like how you find just say you
went to the gym. This is how crazy girls are. Bro,
you went to the gym and you're like, girl, I
just saw this cute guy at the gym. We don't
know anything about him. Somehow, they don't find They're gonna
find him on the gram, on TikTok. They might even
find his social security I don't do that, but I

(43:00):
know that when I tell you. The first thing is
the Nile.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
I go to a private gym, so I know people.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
In the gym. Oh so you got money. Yeah, I'm
still a crunch are you are not? I'm just kidding. No.
I go to young Young Young l A. I was like,
what is young? Shout out young l A.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
I love them anyways.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
So I don't do that, but I have people that
do that for you. No, no, no, I like to
keep it simple, like I don't want to like the
same way that I didn't dive deep into like you
or I guess I have all My podcast isn't what
I'm going to do for it, man, Okay, I'd rather know,
like you're going to show me who you are on

(43:52):
your own?

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Okay, you go to church.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
Right there? What is like your like, go for it?
It was like your belief your mom said that, not
your mom, but you said your mom was religious?

Speaker 2 (44:05):
My mom right now? No, no, no, no, I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding, just completely. So I was born in
a Catholic home, not born I was raising a Catholic home,
Catholic family. They're definitely I'm a big big believer in God,
and I'm very open about my religion. I'm very I
don't hide it. There's people out there that creators that
try to shy away and try to like not talk

(44:26):
about it as much I'm personally so I don't know,
this is too personal. But there was a point in
my life that I used to pray when I was
down bad. I lost my job. I was like I
had nothing and I would pray. I was like yo,
Like not yo, but I was like, God, if you
you know, help me accomplish all the goals everything I'm
asking you for, like my dreams and I want to
be able to help my family, help my friends and

(44:48):
stuff like that. I promised to spread your word, spread
your name in any platform I have. Yeah, this is
a real story. Like I don't think I've ever told anybody.
I told my friends like my boy Felipe and random
random notes. So yeah, that was the point. I was like,
you know, help me accomplish all this in any podcast
I'm on, whether it's the biggest podcast in the world
or the smallest podcast interview, whether it's on an iPhone

(45:10):
interview like and when the good Morning America News, whatever,
I will always give you my praise, and I'll always
thank you and tell everybody that everything I have is
because of you. And so this is my moment right
now to keep my word that I'm doing it. I'm
doing it right now. That yeah, I'm very my mom,
you know, raised in a very Catholic home with my grandma,

(45:31):
and I would say I wouldn't say I'm Catholic. I'm
very just religious. Over time, as I get older, it's
a whole thing like I'm just like, do I don't
think I need to pray to Virgin Manity or Saint
this and Saint that I've learned at least this is
me personally. I just pray straight to God, like I
just want to pray. My mom's gonna hear that. She's

(45:52):
gonna yell at me. She's gonna what are you saying?
But like I said, as I get older, I'm twenty
six years old. Now I can have my own opinions
and my own belief and so it was just it's
just one of those things like I just pray straight
to God and straight to the Guy himself, the source himself.
And not to say that I don't believe in, you know,
the saints and you know, Joseph and Mary and all

(46:12):
that stuff. I still believe and respect everything, but when
it comes to prayer and communication, it's with straight.

Speaker 3 (46:19):
God, pray to the Creator, not the creation.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Are you you're Christian? I'm going yeah, so, but at
the end of the day, it's Christian or Catholic song
as you have a relationship.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
Which I think is the main source and the main
I think that's the motive. Like that keeps me going
at least like every day, like even when the podcast,
I am the podcast with the buyovers of the day
what it means because I also like I feel like,
not it's obligation, but it's like why not share something

(46:52):
that's good that's benefited in my life and hope and
pray that it can benefit others watching or whatever. So
I love that you do that too, because is yeah, dude,
Like and I love that it's being more spoken about today,
Like I feel like now I don't know, like there's
like these new statistics that you know, people are getting
christian because converted to Christianity or whatever, and I think

(47:14):
it's awesome because look, honestly, like there's just no other way,
at least for me, Like there's no other way. There's
no other like higher power other than Godden. That's what's
helped me have benefit in my life.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Dude, Like one hundred percent. I am to answer your question,
do I go to church, I'd be lying to you.
I tell you yes. That's how I went to church
was for Mother's Day. I went to church for Mother's Day,
I think, mm hmm, or was it Father's It was
one of the two. And I don't. I don't do it.
I don't. I don't go every Sunday. I do pray
every day, every single morning when I wake up, and
every single I try to do it every single night,
but for sure every morning I pray when I wake up.

(47:50):
And yeah, the reason I don't go to I don't.
It's not the reason, but I don't go to church.
I think because for so long growing up, my mom
every Sunday made me go to church every Sunday, like
you're going to check you're going. And it got to
a point where she would take me even on Wednesday.
So now I'm going Wednesdays and Sundays. And I think
I just got as I got older, I was like,
I just don't want to go, but I do tune
into sermons. I do watch sermons shout out to a

(48:12):
live church in Orlando. I watched them on YouTube and
they them and I got into the show The Chosen.
When I think the Chosen, Yeah, yeah, the Chosen.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
Yeah that was like, you look like you could be
in the Chosen, like you not Peter Andrew his brother.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Yeah you think so, maybe maybe I'll grow a beer
and I'll just go for the casting or something. But yeah,
there was a time, like I said, when I got
fired and all that, that's where I found myself. I
was like I was in a really dark time in
my life, like a lot of a lot of bad stuff.
And yeah, I just started listening to the sermon and
I got into The Chosen and then little by little,

(48:54):
like a few months later, when my life just slowly
started turning around. It's weird because as it turned around
for the good. The twenty twenty four year, I think
it was twenty twenty four, Yeah, twenty twenty four, which
was last year. It was the best. It was the
best year and the worst year, which is weird. You know,
It's like and it's just it just comes to show
that life is literally a roller coaster and so might

(49:17):
have a great two years and then that third year
is like awful. Maybe the next five years are awful.
Knock on the wood. But hopefully everything's good now. But yeah,
we're like you, pushing pushing forward, ready for whatever. God,
I'm ready, I'm ready. It's all about experience and learning from.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
It, all right, rapid fire ready, you have a couple
of seconds to think quick answers. Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (49:39):
I'm ready?

Speaker 1 (49:40):
All right? Favored ice cream chocolate?

Speaker 2 (49:43):
Really yeah, I love chocolate.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
If you could be any animal for a day, what
would you be?

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Damn uh, let's do do a dolphin? I love us. Yeah.
I'm a swimmer really well, technically we're all swimmers right right.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Right, right right, but you like actually practice and like yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
I went to yeah I did, Yeah, I'm him in
the water. Yeah yeah, I'm actually I did swimming and
water pol in high school.

Speaker 1 (50:09):
We have Michael Phelps here.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
Yeah, we're gonna get a video with micro soon.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
Watch that's cool like that? Okay, coffee or tea or
you do coffee?

Speaker 3 (50:18):
Coffee?

Speaker 1 (50:19):
Okay, guilty Pleasure TV show.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
You know, Okay, it's weird because we just talked about
the toes and right, I actually finished this show from
start to finish, and it's a dope ast show and
if you never watched it, when I'm gonna want to say,
when I'm gonna say, it's gonna be like, why are
you watching that? But you have to watch it because
I'm very big into a comedy. I love funny Ship.
But dude, Lucifer on Netflix swear on everything. It's fucking fine.

(50:44):
I've never seen it literally metaphorically, hiebri it's fire. No,
it's a really good show and funny enough, weird enough.
They actually do implement some stuff, you know, Bible related
stuff and you low key do learn like you're like,
oh Ship, Like yeah, they're like oh they bring in
like by characters like Kine and all this stuff. Yeah,
it's actually not that. I'm pretty sure the show is

(51:04):
not meant for that, but it is a looser for
them show. It's like, but have you ever heard of it?
Or no?

Speaker 1 (51:09):
No, I think I've seen it like scrolling.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Yeah, it's a very I think it's more than a
comedy and like that police action type of show. It's
pretty cool. I like it or like that I.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
Finished it, Okay, if you could have any superpower.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
What would it be teleporting? Yeah, I hate flying.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
Contradicting that is.

Speaker 1 (51:33):
His whole career based saw Fair.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Yeah, yeah, it's it's just like six hours.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Like, yeah, it is bad.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Like I just imagine going to Europe. If you could
just be like this and then you're like, now you're
in Madrid. Now you're drinking, Like now you're at the
real Madrid game, watching you know, Vinnie Junior score a goal, boom.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
Favorite soccer player Ronaldo, all right, where is it? Okay?
Favorite childhood cartoon.

Speaker 2 (51:59):
Honestly, I feel like you can't go wrong with SpongeBob.
Love SpongeBob.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
This is my people right here.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Best snack to binge watch with. Mmm.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
I actually recently have gotten more into those what are
those called the sour worms? Not sour worms, they're called
I don't know why I looked around like you like
you was gonna have snacks. They're called it's like twin
twin snakes. Oh yeah, it's pretty good. What color they're
twin snakes are like they're like stuck together, but they're

(52:29):
a little sour and sweet at the same time. It's
pretty good.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
One thing that's always with you, you always carry with you.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
My chain. Yeah, I always got a chain.

Speaker 3 (52:40):
Last song you played on.

Speaker 2 (52:41):
Repeat, Okay, I've had it's called lat Blena right now.
It's lap Blena's pop and I think it's a fire song.
I listened to an Equador. It's one of those things
like it comes on and then it brings back to
being an Ecuador like nostalgia with my family and like
driving around in the car.

Speaker 1 (52:56):
So, if you can ask God one thing and receive
an answer right now, it could be anything. It would
be silly, it could be serious. Whatever.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
What are you asking him?

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Mmmm, that's a tough question. I'm not going to lie. M.
I mean, obviously, the most unanswered question in the universe
is what happens after death? So, I mean, you know,
when the Bible says this, and you know or in

(53:25):
reality we nobody would ever know, So probably ask you. Yeah,
I'll probably try to get a leave that answer that
nobody knows too. We'll see, we'll.

Speaker 3 (53:33):
See when it happens.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
All right, we're gonna do the Bible.

Speaker 3 (53:35):
Versus the Day.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Okay, let's do it. Do you have one or it's
like you have one? How do you choose one? You
just randomly or you just is there a.

Speaker 1 (53:41):
Well one I sometimes I do because I read my
Bible every day, So depending if I like one that
I highlight, or I ask God to like tell me.

Speaker 2 (53:53):
Guide me to whatever which one can we do? Has
anybody ever been like, Okay, you say your verse and
I say my verse?

Speaker 3 (53:59):
Do you want to have a verse?

Speaker 2 (54:00):
I have a verse. Okay, I have it on my wallpapers.
I gotta leave go over it all right, this is
my verse. I have it as my wallpaper because, like
I said, it was like this as one of those things.
At one point I was pretty down back.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
M h.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
And it's Proverbs three five six. How about you say
your person oh.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Minus first Peter five five two six, Verse five to six.
In the same way you were, You who are younger,
submit yourself to your olders. All of you clothe yourselves
with humility toward one another. Because God opposes the proud,
which shows favor favor to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore
under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you in

(54:38):
due time.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
So amen, that's a great verse. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
Stay humble, you guys always.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
Because if you don't humble, if you're not humble, God's
gonna humble you, and you don't want God to humble you.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
It's bad, honestly.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
Yeah, no, no, And that's it's a great verse because
that's actually uh, it's one of those things like my
uncle and my mom like ingrained in my brain, or
like stay humbled through everything you know, even whatever you have,
because at any moment can be gone or in general,
you never know who can be there for you, who
can help you exactly.

Speaker 1 (55:07):
And then it's also like one of the biggest commandments
on your father and your mother, which is you know
your elders, whoever they may be, always show respect and
an of them, because that is a way to honor God.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
Amen. Mine is trusting the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding and all in
all your ways submit to him and he will make
your path straight.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
See I should have remembered that one. That is so
not me, but dude, yeah, I love that one. And
which is hard as a person, like submitting to somebody
that you don't see or you like, you you know
God personally, but like I don't like here in person
like it's just harder.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
So it just comes down to just literally how I
see that burst it's like have faith. You know, literally
it comes down to how.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
Much faith something you don't see also.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
Exactly, and yeah, just that was, like I said, a
lot of the I feel like I keep going back
to like that dark time, but a lot of things
is during that phase of mind. I was, uh, yeah,
I learned through like stuff like this, and.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
You know, but it's crazy how God works though, Like
you found God at the perfect time, or like you
drew closer, you just implemented in more in your life
and then like like how you said, the next year,
the next couple of years was just a little bit
worse and best year. Yeah, it's like you know what,
like I told you in the beginning, like God equips
us for things that we're about to face, and it

(56:30):
just makes us stronger and better people. And again like
these are the stories that we tell to inspire and
to help other people too.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
You know, amen to that for real.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
Dude, it's not easy on here.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
The streets out there too. I stay away from the streets.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
Exactly, God, dude, the farming, the cliff arazy. No, honestly,
it was such a good time with you. I hope
you enjoyed the food.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
I hope you enjoyed just I'm about to get seconds.
I'm not lying. I thought like this is sociod I'm no.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Please eat no, but please plug yourself in first before
you continue. I want you to be able to like,
I want everybody to support Diego, support Chico, support Philippe.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
Then, that's crazy that you've been watching my my TikTok.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
You're funny, that you're funny, hey.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
Man, thank you. No, my Instagram TikTok and YouTube panels
are Diego v Noboa, Chicos Goes. I'm gonna tell you
you probably have a probably more girl audience. Let me
just fair warning, guys. We are more on the edgy
side of things, more on the and that's another thing,
by the way, before we finish this topic, because a

(57:52):
lot of people are gonna be like, oh, this guy's
a hyporite, because you know, he talks about God and
he talks about this and that and then I do
and go do crazy stuff, right, But it's please keep
in mind, it's literally entertainment. A lot of it's just
for jokes. A lot of it's like we don't mean
a lot of the things we say. But at the
end of it comes down to like how how I
know myself and how my mom knows myself. Everybody else

(58:13):
can critique and talk whatever they want, but it just
comes down to, like, you know, I know my faith,
I know my religion, I know my beliefs, and my
mom knows why I am as a human, and that's
all I care about. But yeah, she goes on YouTube
to we're trying to We're trying to grind. We're trying
to be up next. So please come show support the
podcast podcast. Yes, you should come on our podcast. You
would love to. Yeah, we would love to have you.
