Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hello everyone, we are here at Disneyland's California Adventure.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Who willing rider? Yes, let's talk rides. Have you done
any rides yet?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I have done nothing yet, done nothing because.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
I didn't know we could get here earlier. But Will's
been here since what ten?

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Yeah, like eleven o'clock this morning.

Speaker 6 (00:36):
Goofy Sky School. No, I like my sen to So
I did not do the Goofy Sky School, but I
did everything else did off Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain.
I can't do the other one because I don't do
motion simulators that don't do well with me. So that
one where you're flying the Millennium Falcon, no, oh, you're
missing out.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
It's fun.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Yeah, I've heard it's good.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
But frankly it's kind of a cheat because that's not
what flying the Millennium Falcon is like. It's very different.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Than Okay, of course, you have you done anything. I've
not done anything. No, but I like hearing about you
guys doing it. That's one of my favorite parts.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
The best part about Disneyland, I think is the atmosphere.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Honestly, I agree with.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
And that's why the rides are so much better than
other parks is because their sense of atmosphere. Like yeah,
like Pirates of the Caribbean is not much of a rude,
but it's the best.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
It's just the best because it's Ristmas haunted mess.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
It's pretty great, I know, but but being here during
the holidays is amazing. Like just I mean, I haven't
done anything yet, but just walking through.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
It ends with Santa Yeah, the parade. Yeah, this was
a great day so far. So will that.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I'm happy to hear you say that.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Do you think that maybe today makes up for not
going to Disney World?

Speaker 5 (01:50):
No, this is not even close.

Speaker 6 (01:52):
Even the day I'm standing at Disney World with a
big fat apology from everybody from thirty years ago the Dolphin.
Then we'll talk about the dolphin. I want Stacy Keaton
going to You want Debbie.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Dunning swimming through the water coming out.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
It'll be fine, but I want an apology.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
No, absolutely makes well.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I'm sure you guys remember that this is the location
of my famous date where then I got grounded for
an entire month of my life after it was worth
coming to Disneyland and being here and staying until midnight
and experiencing everything the park had to offer was worth me.
Just completely ignoring my mother's advice. You need to though

(02:34):
my mother, I just she said you will be home
by ten, and I said, you got it, and then
just stay.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
You know, as you were sitting there like going on
rides and stuffy like I'm dead, like she's gonna kill
me when.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
I get home.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Because I remember, here's what I really remember thinking that
was so naive, was well, I don't have to tell
him that I need. I think actually she gave me
until eleven, okay, And I was like, I don't think
I need to tell him that I have to be
home by eleven.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
But maybe by the time it gets to be that time,
we'll just be.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Ready to go anyway, you know, and I'll just be
able to say things like.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Whoa wait a minute.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So he didn't know no.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Through everybody, I just said, you know, to heck with
you guys, I'm at Disneyland. I'm having fun. And we
stayed until midnight. And then is this the most rebellious
thing you did?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
The most rebellious thing?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
How old are you at this, boy?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I was fourteen fourteen?

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Oh yeah, your mom just gets a call, like you have.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
A call from somebody on the Mickey jail will you
accept from Danielle?

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yes, if you're press goofy. She was paging me nine
one one and I was just conorious, literally ignoring it.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I will never live that one down.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
But it does not get much better than Disneyland. At
Christmas time, you said you haven't been here in a
long time.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Been here at night forever? Because the last I went
was with Will two years ago.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You were here for the holidays.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Someone was here for the holidays was when we were
on Boy Wow.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Because during Boy Means World they would shut down the
park for employees only for like a whole week, right,
it was every night after five pm they would shut
the park down and only open it to Disney employees
and you'd get a collector ornament.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Do you have your ornaments? I wish I had kept
do your parents?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
I think so?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Of course, Will? What do you know this man?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
I still have everything.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, I feel like they might be at your parents house.
You know, they might be.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
They're probably still in the bedroom that hasn't been touched.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
At your parents house.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
Maybe they could be under the swords and hats.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I think you're joking. But there are books, the D
and D books, That's what it is.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Lots of journ like one entry dear guld be good
about it.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
On TV show Show No writer famously pretended to sleep
on the Splash Mountain. Sure in our Disney World episode,
But if you had to sleep on one Disneyland ride,
which ride would you choose to sleep on? I after
the big drop on Pirates of the After Pirates.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Yeah it's nice reason. Yeah, you could be that little
town areas. Although if do you have to listen to
the same song over and over?

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Yeahy no, oh yo.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I got stuck on Pirates for forty five minutes when
I was a kid. This it was whistling part with
the whistling for the dog reason listening. Remember, I still
have flashbacks, God whistle over.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I would sleep on Rise.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
To walk through it all.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Well yeah, well I would just grab one of the
Stormtrooper costumes, pop into that and curl up somewhere no
one even knows it. We had it better. I told
you we had a We had a better person this time,
because the last time we had the person that we're like,
we're so into it and there you rebel scum and
then the wall opens.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Up and the woman comes back. I was like, Hi,
I'm Kathy, I'm part of the resistance. So today it
was like they were into it today. My Adler.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
The first time he went on it, Adler was like,
why are they asking me to lie?

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I have to tell.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Them the first one to crack because Adler's there, Tyler
ran All of a sudden, it takes on a little
protege like the Saddler he's my friend now, Like what
that's the dark side you're with? Brow was like, I

(06:52):
got it and serial number everybody knows that.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Okay, which Disney characters do you think best represent us?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Three?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Each of us? I don't know.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
I felt was about to say the same thing, and
I really am I that much of a dinner guys?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
My god?

Speaker 6 (07:14):
Yeah, because if it was Sesame Street, you'd be stuffle
up against high Bird.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
You guys suck.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You're already Disneyland for me?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
And now.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Are you Goofy?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I could be Goofy.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I guess Goofy.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
So I know this is from kind of I was
watching it today in the parade.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Pluto's Mickey's dog, yeah, and he can't speak.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Yeah, but Goofy's a dog and has a family.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
This is this is.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
All the famous lines to stand by me. What the
hell is Goofy?

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Right?

Speaker 5 (07:50):
So is he a dog?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Who's like got another Pluto's got a Pluto is just
like a different species. I don't it didn't get the
like genetic memory athlete.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
I don't make your great.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I don't know you dressed like Jiminy Cricket though.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
God, actually Jimmy Jimmy makes sense.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Which Princess Daniel fish? Which way she actually?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I'm definitely one of the mice.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
The mice.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
And like a mini are a Mickey.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
You wanted the mice?

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Oh, I was just gonna say Evil step Bom from Cinderella.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
That that could work, That could work. That would definitely.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Well, could be all off from Frozen.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Oh do you.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Know who writer could be?

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Jack Skellington.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
A that's not because it's like you spent your life
in Halloween, but then you find Christmas and it's.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Like change your Yeah. I like that.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Okay, that works for everybody from Frozen. Yeah, okay, you.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Have to let it go.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Just let it go. Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
When you come to Disneyland, what are some of your
food must have? Like, I am absolutely every single time
I must have a churo and the doll Whip.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
The whip is the one I've heard. What you mean
what I heard it?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
You guys are missing out.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
So Dole Whip is a Dole company. The Pineapple Company
makes Pineapple soft serve and they have it near Jungle
Cruise and you they make Pineapple upside down cake with
Dole Whip soft.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Serve on.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
The middle.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Get credible.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
One of the.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
I won.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
You have to get a.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Side down Sunday that they had when I was here
about a month ago, has caramel on it, upside down cake,
the doll it's to difault.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
I think this was the first I ever had in
my life, and I thought it was the only place
you could get churros for a long time.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, because like the.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Others, for you, well here to speak about some of
the holiday treats.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Let's please chat with our Disneyland rep.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
What a better place to be for the holidays, and
right here in Disney. Thank you so much for being here.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
Thank you for having us.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
This is incredible. We're looking around. You can smell the food,
We see the lights, the music. It's all coming to life.
Not only are we celebrating the holidays in a big way,
we're celebrating seventy years of the Disneyland resort. Yeah, and
just like any good celebration, any good party, we need
good food. Right absolutely, right here in front of us,
we have the fluffer Nutter churros. You're just talking about churros,

(10:53):
and they probably spoil you for any other turro anywhere
in the world. These were such a viral sensation last
year that they had to come back.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
We're gonna try them. We're gonna try not to chew
on fluffer.

Speaker 8 (11:03):
There's shippers, a little bit of everything. Wow, wow, what
are you feeling? Content and light?

Speaker 2 (11:15):
The peanut butter, well, that's what it is, peanut butter.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
It's a fluffer nutter. You never had a fluffer nutter
peanut butter and fluff sandwich.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
No, marshall not available on the West Coast when it
was called marshmallow cream.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Here, fluff is the way to go.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
That's delicious. Do you try all the food? That's what
I want to know.

Speaker 7 (11:35):
What I'm I'm working my way through the entire menu
this year. We have ninety new items just for the season.
What just for this season? Nighty new items And here's
a little bit of an insider. Insider uh, tidbit. I
guess you're all very familiar with Disney But did you
know that we have our own bakery on site that
produces so many of these baked goods, including the sticky

(11:57):
toffee macaroon that's in front.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Of us right now, sticky.

Speaker 7 (12:00):
If you ever hear the rumors of a secret Disneyland bakery,
it does exist.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
People singing and like baking and the thing.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Oh it's it's a top secret.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Really good.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
I know that is really incredible.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I see that you have brought us another delicious treat.

Speaker 7 (12:20):
Yeah, that comes from from the bakery. That's a sticky
toffee macaroon.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
See okay, so you said macaroon, and I had been
told it was a macarn And there is a difference magnitude.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
Macaran is the French one that has a coconut. That is,
that's the one.

Speaker 7 (12:33):
I don't like.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
The macarone don't like.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Okay, so this is the macaroons are amazing.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Okay, it's not just a pronunciation difference.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
No, it's a different thing. It's completely different.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I don't even know how to eat that.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
No, just bite the ear, it will break it. I've
already had the delight of trying it. Just take a
big bite. But there's here's the thing. There is sticky
toffee in there, so you have to bite in far enough.
Chick a bite of that one. See how the sticky
toffy is coming out of the ear. See how the
sticky to off he's coming out of between the cookie
and the cream. Now you don't have to bite as
far because I can tell you're already getting some of
the sticky top experts.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
What else if you try around the park that you've enjoyed.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Well, I've only been here for right now, so I'm
trying this. Yeah, look that's a maca room.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
I don't want to.

Speaker 7 (13:22):
Here's a great thing is that all these snacks, even
though they're for a limited time, they come in a
great size they can easily share with a friend, family.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
That's what the hollidays are about.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
We want to make sure that our guests are bringing
their loved ones and making these incredible memories with with everybody.
You know.

Speaker 6 (13:38):
So if you had to tell somebody who walked on
to the park, they say, I can only eat one
thing while I'm here. It doesn't matter sweet, it doesn't
matter savory, And I'm only allowed to eat one thing.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
What do you tell them? What's your number one?

Speaker 7 (13:50):
And you know why, because our chef and our culinary
team takes such care of every single recipe. They will
go to the part of the world where that recipe
is from and makes that it's authentic. So when it's
served in our theme part, be it a dish that
celebrates Kwansadwali Navi that Christmas, it's authentic to like if
you went to your grandma's house.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I didn't even know they had to my list here.

Speaker 7 (14:12):
Oh yeah, yeah, And this will give me away a
little bit, honestly. And here's where I make the connection.
I remember the episode where Tembanga spent the holidays at
Cory's house and she brought her traditions over.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
You know, don't necessarily go so well.

Speaker 7 (14:26):
But but this is like that episode. We have the
Festival of Holidays here at Disney California Adventure that celebrates
all of these different traditions that make up who we
are as a culture in Southern California. So you get
a little bit of everything, diverse food, musical acts, food, entertainments.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
I mean a little bit of everything.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
I think writer is going to love the coffee bevery.

Speaker 7 (14:48):
The cold you like to try.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Sure, this is yeah, that was mine. But if you
don't mind, that's just you know that was mine.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Here at the park and we arrived. We'll get you
a freshman.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
There's behind the.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
There are okay, so I'm not making it.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Up, thank you.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Well, remember we talked about how I know exactly I do.
Do you want a straw? There's a straw back there.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
If we just swayed in one second, can you hand
him your face.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
And your pants and everywhere else there? You go?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
All right, you're gonna love that.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Now yours gonna drink it? Now? A little bit of cinnamon?

Speaker 7 (15:38):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Coffee?

Speaker 7 (15:40):
Yeah? So I grew up seeing my family make this
in a big plot with cinnamon and coffee.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Really yummy.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
It's sweet. So you can take a little bite. I
want to make sure you get take a bite of that.

Speaker 7 (15:50):
I'm okay, okay, already felling up. But it's exactly how
I would imagine it would be at home. Right. This
is this is what it's all about, making authentic and
bringing it to where so many of our guests from
around the world can see it. We've got over five
hundred acres here, a theme park that Walt Disney had
a hand in developing right across the way. So there's
so much heritage and so much history right here at

(16:11):
Disneyland Resort.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
So because it's oh, thank you, that's seventieth anniversary, there
must be some pretty big celebrations planned.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (16:18):
So just because it's a holiday season doesn't mean that
we pause on the seventieth celebration. Right, We've got incredible merchandise,
incredible entertainment. The World of Color show that's about to
the show tonight, A World of Color Happiness has over
one thousand different fountains that shoot water fifty feet into
the air, creates these giant, massive water screens.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
It's so funny.

Speaker 7 (16:37):
And the cool thing is that it's interactive, so you
at home can download the Disneyland app not only start
planning your visit looking at the things you want to do,
but once you get here, you can actually pick who
the host of the show is. It's one of the
five emotions from inside out. So you got a part.
You play a part in the interactivity of these shows too.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
That's really cool.

Speaker 6 (16:56):
Right.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
Tomalaw's throw it at you again, got it?

Speaker 6 (17:00):
He comes to you and says, I can have one meal,
you got the tomorrow's and I can only go on one ride.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
What's the ride you tell them.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
To go on?

Speaker 7 (17:05):
You just mentioned it, the Hounted Mansion Holidays. There you
go because it's for a limited time only, and you
get the you know, Jack Skellington and Sally bringing that
story to life in that classic Disney attraction. Fun fact
you mentioned the Magic Kingdom. That attraction, the Honey Mansion
Holiday is only available here at the Disneyland Resort. So
for everyone watching and listening from around the world, the

(17:26):
Disneyland Resort has that exclusive attraction for the holiday season.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
And I heard it takes almost a month to decorate it. Yeah. Yeah,
it's crazy.

Speaker 7 (17:33):
It's a complete makeover of the attraction, every animatronic, every scene,
the music, it all changes.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Wow, that's really cool.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah, so much fun. Jan thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Yeah, thank you giving us.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
An education and some of the holiday treats.

Speaker 7 (17:48):
Enjoy the holiday.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Yes, thank you for letting us be here.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Three best friends who used to come here together as children,
now as adults eating their way.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Through the park.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
So true.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
All right, let's find it ride asleep in all.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
