We want to talk about how we're feeling on tour.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Has been amazing, has been incredible. West Coast finally, Yeah,
and some West Coast love, giving some West Coast love?
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Should we recap where we've been? Denver, Phoenix, Austin, San Francisco, Tonight, Vegas, Seattle, Portland.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Wait, we're missing once.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Columbus, Columbus, you're right? How could I forget? We had
an engagement in this and for the San Francisco show.
We thought who better to invite to be a part
of our show than two I mean, you guys are
synonymous with San Francisco at this point, do you feel
that way?
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Changed it.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
We are San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
It's not bad.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
But Jody Sweeten and Andrew Barber are here. They are
from a Whole House in Fuller House, and of course
they host the wonderful podcast How Rude Tannerito's. You guys
have been doing your podcast since June of twenty twenty three,
so you've hit the two year mark.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Wow, Yes, we just hit the two year mark, the two.
Speaker 6 (01:36):
Year mark, and just watched the one hundredth episode of Wow,
full Fuller House.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Full House, Full House.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
While you guys went where are we are we in Denver?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
How are you feeling two years into the podcast?
Speaker 2 (01:51):
What do you what? What if?
Speaker 1 (01:52):
What has come up for you rewatching the show?
Speaker 4 (01:55):
We're finally getting the hang of it, I think, you
know this host of podcast. That's excellent two year warm up.
We finally, Yeah, we're getting the hang of it.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
We know what we're doing.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
No, we don't know, no, but I think like going back,
like at least what I've gotten out of watching it
is kind of getting to see it from a fans
perspective and like fall in love with the Tanner Bladstone
because you know, like you just didn't see it being
I mean, being on the other side. We were a
family and we fell in love with each other. But
(02:25):
watching that actually develop, like in real time as you
watch episode over episode, and you're like, I can see
us getting closer and this family, And I was like, oh,
I see why fans felt that way too, you know.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, And we were a lot younger when we started
Full House than you guys were when you started world
so early seasons, I wasn't in every episode. Jodie was five,
so we didn't remember a whole lot. But now that
we're on season five, Yeah, we're on season five for
the rewatch, Now all the memories are coming back. We're like, oh, yeah,
(02:59):
I all, but.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Well, that's amazing. You guys recently did your first live show.
We did, and I need to know all the details
about that. I don't even think the guys know.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Writer looks confused. I don't want to confused. We're discussed.
Speaker 7 (03:21):
I don't know you live show because we were second March,
second show for us, and you just pulled.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
To be fair, it was only a wedding live show.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
It was Jesse and Becky's wedding, so we had Jesse
and Becky there.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
We didn't invite other.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
It was it was down.
Speaker 6 (03:48):
It was a restaurant to see if we totally blew it,
and we didn't completely. So so maybe when we do,
like maybe a live show in the future, then we
will invite you to our list.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
You guys contemplated doing a live tour.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Oh, we've been talking.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
We've been talking about it.
Speaker 6 (04:05):
Yeah, yeah, we have been talking about it, and yeah,
it's it's gonna involve I think I'm actually gonna use uh,
the same people that Lady Gaga uses. She's in town,
so I'm gonna ask her if she can they can
do our set design.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I think it would be.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yeah, that's how you that's how you maximum know.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
What I could get.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
I bet I could get Katie Perry's whatever butterfly thing
on the cheap because it malfunctions.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
That malfunction. Yeah, I bet they're gonna sell price.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Have no idea what they live under rocks.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
Yes, we did a live show. It was Jesse and
Becky's wedding.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yes, sorry, that's right.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
I forget.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
You don't know the show John Stamos, Laura Lock and
we're on stage with us.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yes, invited them in the episode.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
So their characters were married again. Yes, like their vows.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
No no no on Full House they get married the
first time on the original show.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
And so and and I also decided.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
That we would wear uh sort of outfits as close
as we could get to Stephanie's bridal dress. It was
so cute, which was a peach lace. I said, I
looked like one of those dolls that you put on
top of toilet paper.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (05:18):
That was exactly what I looked like, and we created
it down to the fingerless gloves and everything.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
It was great.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
It was there.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
We had fascinators.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Oh yeah, it was Dan Almonds.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Such a fun It was really fun.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
And we had other cast members there. It's got Winer,
Marla Solovye, Jeff Franklin, the creator of the show.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
So yeah, it was great. We had so much fun.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
I Andrea I thought was going to be way more
nervous than she was, and I come into our dressing
room and she's like literally jumping out of the bathroom going,
it's live showd.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
It's live show, like this was.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
This was no boo I expected, Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah yeah, no.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
I was.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Do you normally get nervous before live stuff?
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yes, yeah, usually I do, but I was not this time.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
I was like, this is this is.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
We need to do more of these.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
I was like, oh.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Boy, man, I caught the bug. Yeah, it's really great.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
We've had a really wonderful experience and meeting people face
to face, and you know, when you get to we
get to do it when we do conventions, but uh,
when they're here for your podcast live tour right. It
feels very much more like they are they know you. Yeah, yeah,
just there for the characters that they love, but now
(06:42):
they've gotten to know us as individuals and they know
our likes and they they're in on all of our jokes. Yeah,
it's really fun. So if we could encourage you to do.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
It, yeah, no, I think we're we're we're hoping to
put it together so fun.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
And I mean the show's coming up on.
Speaker 6 (07:00):
Forty years, what like in two years, two years, two years, sorry,
twenty twenty seven, but I mean we're at thirty eight Ringer,
so it's like my wow, edging tour, Like, oh, how
do we let's incorporate that?
Speaker 3 (07:13):
That's crazy.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
It was very crazy.
Speaker 8 (07:16):
So what's crazy to think about is what was forty
years before nineteen eighty seven?
Speaker 7 (07:20):
Nineteen forty seven, So what was what was like the
show then of the forties?
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Before there was.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
In nineteen four there was.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Tell she was like there in the early forties, early fifties, Yeah,
forty seven, there wasn't yet you were listening to the
radio right now, yeah, which is basically what people are
doing now podcast.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Yeah, So I'm glad to know we've fished.
Speaker 9 (07:43):
Jesse get back by Wow after the Loan Range exactly,
brought by Jee.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Oh the Humanity.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
When was the last time you were both in San Francisco?
I know you shot your podcast announcement here and you
were outside the Full How house and people saw you
filming and lost their minds.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Yes, yes, because we were dressed in the nineties.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
We were in this kind of nineties garb and we
were shooting outside of the house like, oh yeah, as
quickly and clandestinely as possible, but yeah, we we definitely
it was fun.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
So was the last time I.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Was That's the last time I was here. But anytime
we're in San Francisco, we routinely make it a habit
to go buy the house, and there's always fans out there.
I'm sure, yeah, you want us to take your picture?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
And then they're like yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
At first I don't even get it, and they're like, yeah,
it's fun.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
So I take Danielle's picture everywhere. No one ever gets that.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
It's me ever true, It's not true, not ever. Sometimes
people I want.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
You in it too.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
How often does that happen? If of the hundred times
I've taken your picture, how often does that happened?
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Well, she's got better hair.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
She's got better Sorry, not true, not true, well hair,
not true.
Speaker 7 (08:58):
She just stepped out of a salon as somebody who
has never watched your show.
Speaker 8 (09:02):
Was there anything in the show itself that was San
Francisco ish?
Speaker 6 (09:10):
It looked like the Fisherman's wharf puked inside of the
Tanner household.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Which is like golden gate pillows.
Speaker 6 (09:18):
It was a lot of red on the walls. No,
it was no blad blue and white. All nautical themed,
all nautical theme, theird nautical, just ropes.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
And ship ship things.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
We had a seapappy in the corner mariner.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah, because we had nothing Philadelphia occasionally.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
And then we just dropped. We were We were very
heavy in the San Francisco.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
I mean, Danny Tanner hosted a show called Wake Up
San Francisco, so it was pretty in our.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I love your lack of knowledge, so.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Great making a show idea about that. Either, I'd be like,
because I've never.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Seen the show, but I know who everyone is.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Oh, I mean I am showing.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah, I've seen my episode.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
You're coming up.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Wait, I think we're coming Are you season five? Were
you in season I don't know.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
I think you're coming up.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Maybe, yes, I think so. The Jennifers, Yeah, the Jennifers.
When you get your ears pierced, actually think that is
season five.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Will be a guest on our show when episode comes out,
is good? Yes?
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Perfect?
Speaker 4 (10:24):
You.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yes, there were like one hundred episodes in before our show.
Speaker 9 (10:27):
Yes, yes, exactly, they were only you said you ended
in ninety five.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah, yeah, so two years we overlapped.
Speaker 10 (10:34):
That was it.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
We're in ninety one right now in season fiveeen ninety one.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Before you guys, we had a long, illustrious career.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Now forty years. It's amazing. Almost yeah, almost.
Speaker 10 (10:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Has there been anything when you're watching the show? Has
there been anything that's been hard to watch? Anything you
feel like, you know what I need to make a
therapy appointment?
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Oh, well, I've just entered my perm era on the show.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
A good error. Is this a bad era?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
It's a better era.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
It's better than the weird bro.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
You had some wig head like like it.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
Looked like a giant ill fitting wigs sort of hair.
She just has really again thick like hair that had
a lot of volume. But he didn't do it any favors.
And there was a couple episodes where I was like.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh, what is that?
Speaker 5 (11:39):
What is that?
Speaker 9 (11:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (11:40):
It was great.
Speaker 6 (11:41):
I think that's mostly it's like hair and clothes, my teeth.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Definitely, that shark tooth hasn't appeared yet.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Mary Kate or Ashley one of them.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Would marry it out and be like one of the
entire studio audience.
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Yeah, but I was really so conscious about it.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
Right as we're about to roll, They're like, okay, quiet everything,
and I like smile or say something, and she.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Has why you have a tooth that grows?
Speaker 6 (12:09):
And I actually and everyone so it's laughing and I'm like,
I kill you, But no I don't.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
So far nothing too terrible.
Speaker 9 (12:21):
No, did they did they like switch the kids out?
Mary Kate and Ashy Olsen, who are different people, those
are different and the list would they switch them out?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Like mid show? Like would they would one of them do?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Would you?
Speaker 9 (12:37):
No?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
One would do one scene, one would do another.
Speaker 6 (12:40):
And would you know, just kind of like I could
tell them apart from behind, like I was really close
with them.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
I know, I was like, oh, that's well.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
Usually because Mary Kate was dressed in something sort of
she had her own like wild style would be like
cowboy boots, and some bike shorts and a wild thing
and she just was very much her own person.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
And yeah, I just remember.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
So they were both there at the and like Mary
Kate would do one episode in Ashley.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
No, no, no, they were always there because you can't work
them that much because they're young.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah okay, and then.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
They would trade off, like they loved cake, as we're
finding out in the show, so they would trade off
who gets to do the eating the cake scene because
it was exciting for a five year old.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
There were a lot of the cakes.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
You would be it's because running it is become a
running joke that I'm like, oh, here comes Michelle. But
they're eating disorder again, like it is like sugar binge.
I'm like, she's comforting herself with food. No one's paying attention,
like she's just deep in it.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah, oh so many.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
And the sugar it's she's a fiend. She's a fiend
for it. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
So yeah, there are a lot of actually and Mary
Kate okay, okay, yeah, yeah, I think a little one,
a little one.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
The two people played Michelle.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Yes, wow, how.
Speaker 9 (13:52):
Many people played uh Bob Saget. That was just Bob Saget.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Right, Yeah, Like I would.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Also say there were about thirty seven people in Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
If you could commend your younger self on one episode
you've seen so far, like ooh, my best performance was
this episode. And if you had to point out your
worst episode, like oh, that one's my cringiest moment, which
would they be.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
That's a great question.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
I could probably answer it, you guys, better for you well, because.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
At first.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
I I think of like the episodes we just recapped,
like yesterday, I.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Know, I know, when we watched Tuesday.
Speaker 6 (14:49):
I would say, your best one is, oh, we had
a good Kimmi one that just recently happened, didn't we?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Right?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
She was kidding? I was Jody. I mean I was Stephanie.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Oh my god, we don't know who we are. We're
not talking to Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
What happens?
Speaker 6 (15:14):
No, I would say, I mean, at least for me,
the one that I can think of that I thought
was really good was the earthquake one. Oh yeah, that
was a episode Danny played by Bob Saggatt Casey Brad
case you're wondering, uh he It was right after the
big San Francisco is quake, the real one, and so
(15:35):
it's an episode about Stephanie kind of starting to like
freak out about her dad not being home on time
or going and leaving out of the house or what,
and her dad's like what is wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Like why are you know?
Speaker 6 (15:46):
And she winds up going to see a therapist at
Joey and Jesse john Samusier. They tell Danny like, hey, man,
I think actually she might need to you know, this
is probably.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Pretty scary for her.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
So I was always really out of that episode. They
handled it beautifully and Bob and.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
I had a really a really lovely scene in it.
Speaker 9 (16:09):
I'm sorry such a basic question, but the Tanner family,
Dave and.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Johnston were they also part of the family.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
They lived in the house. So the entire premise, I'm
going to tell you the premise of full House, which
will answer basically that question, which is Mom dies classic
story right, Yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Mean never starts with that.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
So Mom passes, Danny is left with the three girls ten,
five and nine months their mom just passed. He's overwhelmed.
Uh so Jesse Uncle Jesse moves in, who is dead
Mom's brother? And then Joey Gladstone moves in, who is Danny's.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Best friend from childlen gotcha.
Speaker 6 (16:55):
They move in to help. Joey moves into the alcove.
Jesse moves into a Stephanie Stephanie's old room.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Steph moves in with DJ. Hilarity ensues.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
She was right on the three minute baby.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
I was just gonna say.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
But that seems like a lot of people in one house.
That's a very you have no idea.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
And then we fit more in.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
And then Jesse gets married and can't leave because he
and Michelle have an emotionally codependent relationship.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
But is there like the.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
Pilot.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
They carry the baby down the stairs.
Speaker 6 (17:35):
Naked because YE hold her butt the kitchen.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
And they put her in.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
They put her in the They put her in like
a turkey pot, and my line I goes So I
was like, are you gonna bake Michelle?
Speaker 2 (17:50):
And they were like no. I was like, then, how
do you roast a turkey? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (17:53):
I don't know how you like a New York accent?
Speaker 6 (17:56):
I did know I did in the show. I was like,
then how do you roast turkey?
Speaker 10 (18:01):
Like?
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Hey, you know turkey d Come on, I gotta use.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
That Jesus the thing?
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Oh man? Okay, so everyone's in that mad Okay got it.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Okay, son, answer your question. So the earthquake.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Episode, you'd say, is your best episode? Do you have
before get back to reality?
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Did what she does worst?
Speaker 8 (18:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Worst perform?
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, like something where you're like, oh god, it's hard
to watch for me.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Oh well, I just had that.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
I was It's not an episode, but it's a moment
where I was learning, still learning how to act, and
I like the awkward cross, like how you're supposed to
naturally find awkward cross. I know what you're talking about.
It was I came to deliver my line like this.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Like I brought up. I was like, did you notice
that awkward class?
Speaker 6 (18:55):
She was like, that was my everywhere you look was
the awkward because it was so like I'm going to
turn and turn here and now and very robotic.
Speaker 11 (19:05):
So we always have because fans obviously always want to
know what our favorite episode is.
Speaker 9 (19:09):
And we all have kind of the same answer at
the end of the day. So when somebody comes up
to you and says, do you have that one, that's like.
Speaker 11 (19:16):
Oh yeah, we always we always talk like for us,
it's called the scream episode. We did this parody of
all these kind of scream I know you did last
summer kind of things, and Jennifer love Hewett was on
and it was just this wacky, crazy thing.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
But so the one we had the most fun shooting.
Speaker 11 (19:29):
So do you one where it's like, oh god, this
episode was like our favorite thing in the world.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
I mean I would say for yeah, I would say
disney World.
Speaker 6 (19:37):
We got to spend like two and a half weeks
in Disney World, and it was like.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Didn't you guys go to Disney World.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
We did, I had. It was a height of the show.
We were completely spoiled. It was pretty obnoxious.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
And Will didn't get to go ever going to Disney
World again. No, it was it was incredible. It was incredible,
and uh yeah, Will didn't get to wait why.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
He was in the episode.
Speaker 9 (20:00):
The episode I was shooting, you know, Eric stays home.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
For some reason while everybody else goes in.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
I didn't get to go to the Hawaii episode. I
was written out in the eleventh hour. They had already
purchased plane tickets, so I got to go anyways, and
I didn't have to work.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Yeah, she turned that one right around.
