Speaker 1 (00:19):
Oh god, I want to talk about that. Though we
haven't even talked about it.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I know, because I want to hear I don't know anything.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
So I mean, you writer, you say you don't know anything.
I told I sent you a text.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
That's all I know.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I read that text so and I was like, what
I know?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
You did seem genuinely shot. I just do.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I can't believe you're taking on more stuff, honestly, That's
what it is, because I'm like, you've the directing, the podcasting,
all this. You're I'm like, the amount of stuff that
you're taking on, still doing conventions and lived Caroline, and
I can't believe that. Then this added all and I
was like, what.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
You're building plane in your free time? I mean, it's
all right, I'm getting.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
My helicopter license. Yes, I am doing Dancing with the Star.

Speaker 6 (01:11):
Wow, I.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Don't.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I am so excited. I also feel like I have
to cover this. This is it's August three, I have
I have an NDA, but I obviously I had to
tell you guys because it changes it obviously changes well,
for one, you're my best friends. I have to tell you,
but it also changes our our schedule. So yeah, I'm

(01:37):
so excited. I have always wanted to do it, but
to myself, yes, someday I will do Dancing with the Stars.
They have asked me before, and it was never It
was just never the right time. There was always something
that just made me say no. And yet I knew

(02:01):
I wanted to do it. I knew I wanted that
type of challenge. I think the show is so beautifully done.
My grandparents were huge fans. It's one of those projects that,
like people in your family will say like, hey, why
don't you do Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Like to me, no, people I get, I get why aren't.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
You doing that hot dog eating contest? Stuff like that,
but never get told stop.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Dancing, please stop moving, please stop moving. Just just listen.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
You should sit back.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Can you sit still still?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Nobody wants to see that.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
I'm to same thing.

Speaker 7 (02:38):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
But yeah, I'm really excited about it. I also am
going to be launching a new podcast in conjunction with it.
It will be called Danielle with the Stars Yay, and
I'm going to do two episodes a week. One episode
that will be a recap of the show, so all
the behind the scenes things you wouldn't know from the performances,

(03:03):
whether there was a wardrobe malfunction, whether I missed a step,
whether somebody you know, I stepped on my partner's toes.
I'll tell you all of that stuff. I'll tell you about.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Your music too. I can't.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I mean, you're also going to be physically working the
whole time.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Exercise, dance all day, eight hours a day, is going
to do lots of fun.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
I mean for me, watching you try to vablish all
this at the same time. Right rider and I are
already taking bets on the first snapping watch. It's just
like continue stab you last night, Yeah, with a pen.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
I asked her a name. It's like, hey, do you remember,
and I got a pen in the side of the neck.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
So I can't believe the good news. The good news
of it is that I'm not actually going to be
able to do much of anything else. So I'm not
going to be able to direct, I'm not going to
be able to Yeah, I'm going to be so focused
on this that in some ways I kind of think

(04:01):
it'll possibly feel like a break. I don't know, I
doubt it's.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
A whole life adventure.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
Oh my god, that's like saying the gonorrhea is a
break from the clap Like, no.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
That's I'm gonna go take a break and climb overs.
I feel like I need a real.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Break it all. I know, I know, I'm just trying
to give myself.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
I know what you're saying. Actually I think, actually I think,
I think it will feel like a reset. So all
you know, because you're not the type of person that
likes to sit around and relax anyway, No neither Mi.
I like I go on vacation and I'm more stressed
out than ever. When I'm like in life and I've
got a new project and I'm focused on something, I
actually feel.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
More relaxed than i'm with you.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Actually, yeah, I have I have a question, Danielle, and
it's it's an honest question.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Okay, can you dance? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I don't dance for fun like you like you've always
gone out rhythm.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
I have rhythm. I don't have two left feet. Okay,
I enjoy dancing. There's never been a wedding where I
haven't been on the dance floor. I'm comfortable dancing, but
I have never taken a dance class.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
So the show, okay, I don't think I've never seen
the show.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
So does this woman that you might get eliminated if
you're not like good enough a competition.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yeah, first of all, it's this is its thirty fourth season. Wow,
So it has in thirty four seasons, it's had quite
an evolution. Will's very good friend, Sabrina Bryan, their co
host of Magical Rewind, is a professional dancer and when
she joined, you know, she's been dancing since she was
a kid. She was incredible, had the highest rated score

(05:46):
on her season, the highest rated score up to that
point five seasons in. No one had been rated higher
than her on like one of their early dances. And
yet she was eliminated in week six. And I'm going
to talk to her. I get to interview her about
her experience, and he's going to be one of the
guests on Danielle with the Stars, and I get to
talk to her about like why we think that is.
But you know, even if I am great, it doesn't

(06:08):
mean people are going to like me enough to vote
for me or audience voting, audience voting and judges. It's
a combination and math exactly. You don't really know exactly
how that math works out.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
It's not just a popularity.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
They love you, so they you're just going to keep
getting through even if you're falling all over yourself.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
I mean, the audience votes for you.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Yeah, I guess that's true.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yeah, if exactly, if if for whatever reason people decided
she's a terrible dancer but we really like her, they
could keep me around, or I could be, you know,
a really good dancer and they could be like, we
think she's annoying, get her the heck out of there.
So it's really just the good The good thing is
for me is that the pressure's off to figure it out.

(06:51):
There's no I'm not going to be able to figure
it out. The only thing I'm good at doing is
being myself, and that's all I'm going to be able
to do. I'm gonna I'm also gonna to try to
have more fun. You know my new word that I
keep trying to.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Try, still stubbling over it as you try to say.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
That's trying to have a little bit of some fun.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
So I'm going to try to not beat myself up
too much, because.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
You're gonna be physically beating yourself up, so probably mentally
beating yourself up too isn't a good thing because your
body is probably going to be pretty haggard.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Especially I know, did you just say, my body's going
to be haggard.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Okay, you're gonna be training hours a day.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Haggard is a good work.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
It's gonna be tired work. It's gonna she's probably gonna
get toned and fish there.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
It's gonna be it's the exer The amount of exercise
I imagine that dancers do, especially for this kind of training,
is going to be pretty staggering.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I know, if you made a list of things that
rider doesn't want to do, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
The beach.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Uh uh.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Let's see reality show in general, dancing, going dancing, having
to learn.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
It's like you literally taco.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
You know, you combine some of the my, my least
favorite things into one project.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
It's dancing with the stars.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Being being famous in front of the camera, being judged
for how you look and talk and interviewed and dance, and.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Then you get to do all of my worst things,
like oh my god. No, but with that said, it's
so great for you.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Will you come watch? No, No, you don't have to
be interviewed, you just have to sit there.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Of course, we're going all the ways except being on.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Okay, now, I mean they might show your face.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
No, you know what I should You don't have to.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
I should watch the show because I've never seen it,
and you should have me on your podcast at one
point to just sort of get like my raw perspective as.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Somebody who has never seen any of it.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I will be there, and I will I will give
you you know my analysis, is.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
There is there when we do come and see you,
because I've I've already asked if we can come and
see you? And is there a size limit to the
things we can bring in to throw at you while
you're dancing?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I am pretty sure you will get kicked out if
you throw something at me while Okay.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
So it's not there's not like, well you can bring
something the size of eminemring tomatoes.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
Okay, I was just checking me. I don't know the rule.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Is it money?

Speaker 6 (09:13):
I haven't seen it.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
You want people throwing money you while you're dancing, Well,
that's a different ques you're.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Gonna If you're gonna throw something.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
It's a different career. I love that.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Well, we're very proud of you, I'd like to say,
for very proud of you. You know, will help however
we can, because your time is going to be very limited.

Speaker 6 (09:36):
So whatever we.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
Can do to help out, you know, we will, And
of course we're gonna support you have already voted a
bunch of times.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Thank you. You are allowed to vote ten times per
per method. Okay, So I think there's text and email.
So if you'll just if you'll just start scheduling your
texts and emails.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
World listeners could really give you the boost you need
to say.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Oh god, yeah, I need you listen. If you don't
think I'll be adding in to the end of our episode,
oh no, I'm not going to do it at the
end of the show when people may have already clicked
out in the middle, in the middle of the show,
we're already listening.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
I like that idea.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
I'd also like to pitch a new reality show which
is people like writer and I having to learn how
to dance at gunpoint.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
The show.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Yeah, that's the show. That's what I love.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
I just I just want to read the definition of haggard.
It's looking exhausted and unwell, especially from fatigue, worry, or suffering.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Yeah, that's the problem. It's about looks feel stand by.
I stand by everything I say. Your body's going to
be haggard, I stand by your haggard body will be glowing.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I will listen like a pig.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
Exactly. We'll get you a cold plunge. You'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Welcome to Pod Meets World. I'm Daniel Fischel.

Speaker 6 (10:59):
I'm Rider Strong Will Fordell.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
The number two definition is of a hawk caught for
training as a wild adult of more than twelve months.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
That's what I meant.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Now, that's what I meant.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
You're going to be a young hawk. That's fat.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Jason just wrote email L O L. That is two
ways you can vote for people via text and via email.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
That's great.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
Good, so we can get you twenty at the time.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Yeah, twenty total, ten via text, ten via email.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
I mean we really do get old people voting with email.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Aol dot com from Will here exactly, I would like
to vote for Daniel official stop is allowed Daniel to win?

Speaker 6 (11:41):
Stop.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
I go.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Well, it is time once again to call it a
day on another Boy Meets World season, this time season six.
And you know what that means. That's right, incessant social
media comments asking when we're starting season seven, but also
the annual episode draft. Will writer and I have recapped,

(12:23):
we've analyzed, and we've romped our way through the last
twenty two episodes, and now it's time to pick our favorites.
We will each select titles following a randomized draft order,
then snake through the three of us, back and forth,
fourth and back, each picking an episode then taking it
off the board. Then at the end, you the listeners,
will vote for who you think compiled the best team

(12:45):
through Instagram comments, and a winner will be crowned forever,
making them the Season six King or Queen now. Will
was winless but has turned it around lately with I
think two wins in a row in drafts. But Season
six really is its own beast here. It feels a

(13:06):
little like a Pro sports expansion draft. The pickings are
what you might call slim.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
I don't know what to do, guys, I had I
We'll get into it.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, I was it harder to remember the episodesime, me too.

Speaker 7 (13:20):
I literally went back and listened to our podcast to
see if we like it or not.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I had to look up multiple episodes.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Yes, because the is online are just like I'm like that,
I don't even Yeah, there's there's INSTI the real lack
of a through look through like a through line or
something making a contrip.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I didn't.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
I was like, did we watch them differently? Did we
go quicker or slower?

Speaker 3 (13:40):
What?

Speaker 6 (13:40):
I was like, I've retained none of these. I don't.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
I had to go back and literally listen to the
podcast to get to hearing.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
I heard Danielle twenty two times last night go so
before I read our guest stars, does anybody have any thoughts?

Speaker 7 (13:53):
I heard that twenty times last night because I couldn't
remember whether we like them or not.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I don't either. I should have done that.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Actually, I'm probably just gonna repeat myself or maybe completely
contradict myself.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
I'm so jealous of the time you guys have. I
don't know when you found time to do any of this.

Speaker 6 (14:11):
I did it.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
This morning.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I'm I'm still googling. I'm like, what I'm looking at
it right now? I'm like, I do I remember that episode?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I think my problem is even the ones I think
I liked. I don't know if I like that.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
But here's the the other difference is going to be
there's not a and.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Again, I don't know if this is this is I mean,
obviously it doesn't bode well for the season, but there's
not a single episode on my list that if one
of you takes it, I'm going to go, oh, come on,
I wanted that one.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Really now, oh, I think so for me, there's only
a few that I'm I mean.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
Let's do some trading. Then, let's trade before we get
on the clock, because you can have whatever you will.
There's some that are better than others and some that
are good. But you know there's in previous seasons it
was like, oh.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
My god, I want hair today, goon tomorrow, or oh
my god, I want this one. I want, you know,
pairing off whatever one you you thought of, you you
kind of stake your claim to, and you hope I
get picked first.

Speaker 6 (15:02):
Yeah, okay, I want to pick some Yeah I think.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
I think I have a strategy. Okay, okay, but I don't.
Do you want to know what it is ticking.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
Step by step episodes?

Speaker 2 (15:11):
No, I think we should find out what I mean.
Don't you want to wait because I might have a strategy.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Too, Okay, depending on where draft so right, because okay, well,
let's not waste any more time. Then the season six
draft order is as follows. Danielle will writer, Okay, all right,
so I have the first pick here.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Oh I can't believe you took that.

Speaker 8 (15:36):
Yeah, I'm going to take Oh wow, all right, I'm
going to take Season six, episode fifteen, road Trip, the
episode with Noo.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
I really am Your strategy is to just take the craft,
isn't it.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Shine? So don't even think about taking.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Nobody honestly had the same idea. I was like, maybe
we just go through and pick like the absolute dregs
of the season because we could just get the fans
to vote for millions.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Listen, I'm taking it. It's mine. It's off the board.
Season six, episode fifteenth, road Trip. To get his mind
off of his dad's death, Sean brings Corey along on
a soul searching road trip in Chet's trailer, where they
end up at a truck stop with the band Nobody's Angel.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
I think it's truly the worst episode of the season,
and maybe one of the worst episodes.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
I mean, I would put it in the bottom five.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Agreed, I think, I think I agreed, But also I
guess I guess there are there are worst episodes for me,
like personally or that I look at it and I'm like,
I just don't like that episode, but I think that
we can just put it in the bottom five kind
of for everybody. Yeah, the throw of Anybody out there
is like I really love the Nobody's Angel episodes.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
But I will say there's a great chet appearance. That
little scene, that last scene is a real bright spot
in an Otherwise.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Now I'm really screwed because now I kind of want
to compete with Danielle.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Because you know, she's just gonna get the She's going
to get her picks.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yeah, I'm gonna get them.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
She's gonna get them.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
So I don't know if the.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
People are into the idea of like it's a race.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
To the bottom of the race.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
So now I kind of have to pick a crappy one.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Just like listen, I might just take the Everybody Loves
Stewart episode because I feel like that's going to be
high on your list.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Well then with our with our second pick, well, yeah.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
The highway has opened, the freeway has opened up. Everybody
took a weird on ramp, and I'm by myself. I'm
going to try to pick the good ones. So there, Okay,
I won the last two. So I can't imagine I'm
gonna win a third, so it doesn't matter anyway, in
no particular order.

Speaker 6 (17:56):
I guess, Okay, we all really like it.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
And I went back and and kind of the A
story was good, the B story was good.

Speaker 6 (18:04):
I'm going to start with at college great.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
It's great. Okay, let me get.

Speaker 6 (18:10):
To that's going to be the first one to get
to that one.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
I mean, I was soulated the beginning of this season
that I was, Yeah, I do like the Foene storyline,
but I thought that was like one of the Eric Rachel.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Jack stuff that we were just like.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Well, it's also if this is if memory serves, and
I hope I picked the right one.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
I think the B story this is Eric.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Is this the laundry room?

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Yes, and dressing up like the poet and doing all
that kind of stuff. So that's a funny bet story.
And the A story has been trying. And Keon does
the great professor and with the gibberish eager je.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Because it's his guidance counselor to prepare his college schedule,
and enthusiastically picks the hardest classes, but he soon realizes
it's too hard.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Yeah, I guess that was a pretty good episode. It's funny.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I just really wrote off the early season when I
was looking at the list.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
But yeah, you're right, that was a pretty good one.

Speaker 6 (19:03):
I like that one. So that's my first pick. Is
ain't college great?

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Okay? All right again?

Speaker 6 (19:08):
More do I get one? I get one?

Speaker 1 (19:09):
I forget how we get one, and then I get
too that's what then we reverse it?

Speaker 6 (19:14):
Wow? Okay, is he gonna take two bad ones? Is
he gonna take too good?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Doesn't he figured out my strategy so quickly?

Speaker 5 (19:21):
Well, when you start with the Nobody's agel episode, it's.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Okay, I still might go for my alternative strategy.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I'm going to leave my own.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
No, because I have to be picked two, right, Okay, Okay,
I'm going to do episode twelve, cutting the Court, which
is karaoke. Yes, I think that that was, you know,
if we compare it to our picks from season four
or no, but within the context of season six.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yeah, it's a solid episode.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
You're right, and I think it's you know that the
tag is super funny with you guys doing war. It
feels it was not like it was not the easiest
week doing it. But I think the episode is solid
and it also goes along with my alternative strategy.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Should I go that way, and then.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
I'm going to go right into number thirteen. We'll have
a good time then, which is like at the time,
I think, I you know, when we did our recap,
I talked about how dramatic it was and how that
felt maybe like a misstep in some ways, But if

(20:36):
I take it on its own terms, it's a really
it's a really solid episode. I love anytime that Blake
is on the show, and so out of the content,
like if I take this one out of context and
not the rest of.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Season six, it's a very pivotal Boy Mets World episode.
Obviously it's pivotal for me and Sean.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
So I'm definitely I think, no matter what, if you're
talking about like big episodes of Boy Mats World, this
one's got to be on there as like a turning point.
So just for that alone, and it's it's solid within
you know, within that context, it's just a drama, you know,
it's just kind of a soap up. There's not a

(21:17):
whole lot of laughs.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
But I'm going to take that.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
So those are my two picks cutting the court, and
we'll have a good time, then two in a Row.

Speaker 6 (21:24):
And jerk Face Guy.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
They were right, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's why I wanted
to get.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
We'll have a good time. Then what it was actually
going to be my second pick?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Well, I mean, how many minutes has it been since
you said you were definitely not going to be upset
with anybody picking anything. I'm not upset.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
I'm just sitting here.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
But what we see we are competing for because I
don't think that there are that many great episodes, so
I think we're going to have the same ones.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
I think I know what your next one is.

Speaker 6 (21:48):
I'm going to be that girl at the party. Is like,
I'm fine, Britney. Oh yeah, I'm totally fine.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
I'm not mad at all.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
It is what it is.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
I expect it got to be a girl at the
party because it's always the girl at the party.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
Oh just gets drunk in fights.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I'm really having a hard time choosing between Baby in
the nick, It's Will's turn, Will goes next?

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Do I guess I don't know?

Speaker 6 (22:17):
Or no? I am between two?

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Wait why it is?

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Wait?

Speaker 6 (22:23):
No, Danielle goes next?

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Right, it started with me, then it goes Will. Then
it's writer right, Yeah, you're right now? Will you're right
two times?

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Writer?

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Then will you're right?

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Writer?

Speaker 3 (22:33):
So smart can't question writer?

Speaker 6 (22:35):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, he does all the time.

Speaker 7 (22:38):
Uh yeah, I'm between two and the problem is this
the one I wrote down for what would be my
next pick?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
I can't remember actually what the episode was.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Is it be true?

Speaker 6 (22:49):
No, that's a possibility.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Okay, getting hitched?

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Oh okay?

Speaker 6 (22:57):
Can you read that number?

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (23:02):
Sort of the one off with the hall the wed
number fourteen?

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Wow, this I have a long one for this. Corey
and Tapanga play the fiance game to prove how compatible
they are and are crushed when Eric and Rachel prove
to know far more about each other than they do
to Panga suggests a quick solution they should live together
on campus and really get to know each other. Corey
mistakenly thinks this means sex. Meanwhile, Sean has ignored Jack's

(23:27):
repeated call about clearing out chets.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
Yes it's the trailer.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Yes, that's what I want trailer sequence, And I think, yeah,
I agree, man, this.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Was when I was my FOD episode. And if you look,
we're actually talking like it's the middle run of this season.
That is the fourteen it's a nice run.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
Yeah, I'm taking it.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Yeah, you're right. This is matt great in this episode.

Speaker 7 (23:47):
Yeah that both of you, two of you together and
in the trailer, and this is where he reaches my
alternative strategy.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
So god, now I.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
Got an alternatives grewing.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
You're gonna take resurrection, right you? You're taking the dead
Baby's dead.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
The healthiest baby that's ever been born.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
I was calling it the dead baby episode. I don't
know if I want to take. So is that what
you took?

Speaker 6 (24:18):
Well, you took it.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Okay, that's a really good one. Okay, let me see.
There's a couple of baby episodes. There's My Baby Valentine,
which is the baby shower episode where Cory plans the
brings the stripper for the baby shower. And then there is,
of course, the one that's called Resurrection. While everyone restlessly

(24:41):
awaits newly born Joshua Matthews, Corey's continued vanity alienates to herself.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
And the you most weird, weird and bad.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Yeah that's and in case I don't see you. In
an effort to become more popular, Eric creates a TV
show similar to The Truman Show featuring his roommates but
it's Rachel who becomes the campus darling. Meanwhile, Corey and
Sean expect special treatment from Feenie thet with.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
The and the rest of the waffles and all that
kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
If I'm really gonna stick with my plan, though, I
have to go with resurrection. I have to go with
an episode that, even if it means something to people
like myself who had a child in the nick You
and there are In no way am I trying to
say that that episode does not speak to a certain

(25:44):
experience and it can be a meaningful episode. But I
bet most people, even if they've had that experience, skip
that episode in a rewatch would probably go, you know what,
I don't know that I need to relive the the
nick You Baby episode, even if it brought them comfort
at some point. So sticking with my plan, I'm going
to go with season six, episode seventeen, Resurrection.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Okay, oh, now brought up the cleavage episode because.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
That's oh I forgot. I forgot that one existed?

Speaker 6 (26:15):
Right now?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Where's that? That's my it's my next one.

Speaker 6 (26:18):
Yeah, you're married, your dead.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
You're married, your dad sold to me? Right now?

Speaker 1 (26:25):
How many do we get? Total? Are we five.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
I don't know how many do we? Five?

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Is that we do?

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Okay? Daniel all right? Season six, episode eight, Corey loses
his engagement ring when he goes to a bikini club
with scantily clad waitresses to prove that he still fits
in with the rest of the guys despite being engaged.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
So you're taking because you take two, I'm taking two.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
I just took it. That one's I shouldn't have mentioned it.
I forgot existed.

Speaker 5 (26:47):
Camp Yeah, yeah, you forgot it. That's how bad it was.
You forgot it existed.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Cavage, It's yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:53):
So does it go to me? Now? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Just take everybody? Stewart, so she doesn't get it, just
take it.

Speaker 7 (26:59):
She's just announced's to be on Dancing with the Stars.
You think it mattered what shows we were picking? She
won already, She went, I.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Don't think I'm gonna win because I'm on Dancing with
the Stars.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
Gonna help, it's gonna help.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
No, I think doing the podcast is gonna help me
on Dancing with the Stars. Not being on Dancing the
Stars helps me with.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
The Podcort, As long as I'm your co hosts the
entire time going. I've never seen that show it's gonna
be fun.

Speaker 6 (27:21):
I'll be your ed. Mcmahony, thank you. So is it?
It's back to me?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
It's your turn.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
So I'm at ain't college great and getting hitched? Okay,
I think for number three? Okay, we like.

Speaker 6 (27:41):
To be true. We did, we did, but it was
a tough week. But I think I'm gonna go.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
With episode season six, episode eleven, Santa's Little Helpers.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Okay, I had a feeling there's a really good episod.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
It was Griana a figure out that Sean and Angela
still love each other but they have contradictory opinions on
what to do about it. And this is our introduction
to Tommy.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
And Feene reads what was it as the Night before
Christmas or something? He reads, I forget, Oh no, it
was Scrooge and so happy. It's a very Christmas episode
giving orphans toys.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Mm hmm, A very good, a very good Eric Eric episode,
got a lot.

Speaker 6 (28:27):
So yeah, I'm taking Sana's Little Helpers.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yeah, okay, good choice, man. You did you kind of
screwed my You were just going to take the middle.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Just trying to help or yeah, well no, actually I
have my alternative strategy was to just do Sewan episodes
and to just take poetic license the poetry episode.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
But you didn't like the poetry episode.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
No, but I was just going to say, I'm my
slate is just Sean for season six, which would have
like been four or five up episodes.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
But you took Getting Hitched, which is one of.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
The best on episodes because that's where he and Jack
and you know, have their moments. So and then even
Santa's Little Helpers is the the a story is about.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Sean and Angela. So you've unintentionally ruined that idea. So
now I just got to go.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Now, I've just got to go with what I do
think is are some of the best episodes.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Or maybe the most memorable.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
And I took I took Nobody's Angel, which was an
episode where you died inside.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
I just said, but as a person, not as a character.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
True.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
True.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
I'm gonna go with episodes that are memorable.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
I'm not gonna you know that, like even if they
weren't complete successes, they are like defining episodes of Boy
Meets World, okay, And so I'm gonna go with uh be.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
True okay and better than the average Corey both episodes
Everybody Average.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Let's first for be True, which is season six, episode nineteen.
Corey and Sean join for the last time as a
bad boy team to help mister Feeney, who's uncertainty and
declaring his feelings for Dean Bolander look like a mistake,
So that is be True. And then the other one,
it's the one.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
With the Alexander Nikita right, yes, better than the average course.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Introduced art prodigy Alexandra Nikita. He develops an inferiority complex
and blames his lack of skills on his average father. Meanwhile, Alexandra,
lonely touring without anyone her own age, befriends Morgan.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
And it moves in with the Matthews family indefinitely.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
I think that it's a weird episode. I think both
of these are weird episodes, but that when the second
somebody like tells you what happens in that episode, you
remember it completely. You remember Corey singing win beneath my Wings,
you remember you know the bee and the brain and
the jar. So I'm just going for like the episodes
that from season six, if you mention them to somebody,

(30:55):
they'd be like, oh yeah, oh yeah, totally that that's
that's an indelible episode of Boy Meets World. And so
whether they're good or not, you know. And then of
course I have Seawn's dad dying completely on the other
side end of the spectrum. But again, you can't talk
about Boy Meet's World without talking about that episode. So
and then what was my fourth one?

Speaker 3 (31:13):
You have will have a good time then and cutting
the cord?

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Cutting the cord.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Okay, that's the only one that's not like super Yeah,
I'm stuck with that one though, all right, unless you
want a trade, So you have because you take cutting
the cord.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
I would take cutting the cord. What did you What
would you want in return for cutting the cord?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
Well, yeah, so I have to take one of yours.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
You could take You could take either Santa's Little Helper
getting this first ever trade college plus a third round
draft pick in our next.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Draft because you yeah you oh no, wait, hold on.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Cutting the cord is memorable because it's the karaoke episode. Yeah,
so it fits it fits my my my strategy. Yeah,
the second year.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
Yeah, okay, okay, so we're not doing a trade, no, okay,
will yes, you're up. What's your next pick.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
With my fourth pick in the sixth draft.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
To recap, you have a season six episode three, Ain't
College Grade? You have season six episode eleven, Santa's Little Helpers,
And you have season six episode fourteen Getting Hitched.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Mmm, I have like nothing left on my list.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
Okay again, because it's important and because we didn't hate it,
and the whole cast was together and we had it
was it was again, It's very important.

Speaker 6 (32:36):
In the span of boy Mets World.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
I'm going to take season six episode one her answer part.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
So that's his answer Part one? Is that?

Speaker 6 (32:48):
What is?

Speaker 3 (32:49):
Yeah? And then the next one is her answer Part two?

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Okay? Good?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Then yes, the first one okay? His answer part one,
Season six, episode one to recap, when Tapega proposes for
him to marry her graduation, Corey is absolutely stunned. However,
when everyone else has conflicting views on the subject, Cory
and too Panga quietly slip away to Elpe. Okay, all right,
what's the beast? What's the best story in that?

Speaker 6 (33:12):
That's a great question, Danielle.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
I don't know if there is one.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
I don't think there is one either, isn't it because no.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
It's Rachel moving in it's introduction of Rachel.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
Right, okay, but we're all in in the isn't this
the one we're all in the kitchen. No, that's the
second one when.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
We're all in the kitchen, so that do you want
to change it?

Speaker 5 (33:33):
No, that's because that's also the No. I'm gonna stick
with the first one. Yeah, the introduction of Rachel. Guys
in the apartment. You know, there was still hope for Rachel.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
I think Doeshan get kicked out in this episode.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
When he's thrown out the door, which is funny. So yeah,
I'm gonna stick with that.

Speaker 6 (33:50):
Really.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Yeah, Okay, I have to recap season six episode eight,
You're Married, You're Dead, which is Club Cleavage. I have
season six episode fifteen, road Trip, which is the Nobody's
Angels episode, and I have season six episode seventeen Resurrection.
For my final two picks. I'm going to take Hogs

(34:11):
and Kisses.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
I wanted that. I want that bad.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Yeah, I'm gonna take Hogs and Kisses. And I'm also
going to take Truman Show, season six, episode ten and
in case I don't see Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
Wow, she's gonna run away with this one. She's gonna
run away with.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
It because those are my picks.

Speaker 6 (34:39):
She's gonna run.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Away with it, She's got dead baby dance. I mean,
think about if you lined up her episodes and watch
them at a road to be like, what is this show?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
It's like, what is this call?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Right now? Yeah, I'm actually I wonder where like the
psychotic episode to fit in this though, because it's also
one of those like very strange like yeah, but it's
not like I don't think it fits my strategy to
do the psychotic episode because it's not memorable, like we
all forgotten, Yeah, Forgot's weird.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
It's it's like, not, all right.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
We should make the office ladies watch.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
We're just here take these five.

Speaker 6 (35:21):
It's actually a pretty.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Funny thing, so you think about the show not it's
actually a.

Speaker 6 (35:23):
Pretty funny thing.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
We give them our our like five least favorite episodes.
They give us their five least favorite episodes.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
That actually it's a good idea.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
So it's well again, oh god, oh I'm okay, I'm done.
I'm just gonna stick at these four. No, okay, I guess.

Speaker 6 (36:00):
You know.

Speaker 5 (36:01):
I'll just do it just because it's it's the only thing.
The only play I have left really is I'll take
episode two and just finish the two parts answer, which.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
Wasn't my favorite.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
In fact, I don't think I even liked it, but
I want the want the combination of the two. The
only other thing I could pick would be this icotic episode,
which again I don't think it'll work. I'll just take
the pair and stick with his answer and her answer
so we can get the whole marriage thing off and running.

Speaker 6 (36:32):
Okay, that's it, all.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Right, I go for you.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
I'll recap what we have at the end. But writer,
you have one more pick.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Yeah, this is tough because, yeah, it really would have
been hawks and kisses.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
I think, okay, maybe.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Maybe you want the truth about honesty where you guys
going well potentially.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Smash on the orders everyone watch. Yeah, I think all
anybody remembers from that episode as Corey saying I've seen
the Promised Land, like right, right, right?

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Maybe you want to go with Tobenga's parents are getting
a divorce. It's a funny. Maybe you like that one.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
What's friendly persuasion?

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Friendly persuasion is Although Angela is upset after she and
Sean call it quits, she shuns Corey's offer of support,
claiming they were never friends.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
It's just not fitting my strategy. That's just exactly. That's
like a good like I would actually put that in
the Everybody.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Loves Stewart really ended up being about Sean.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
No, my strategy know is memorable, like just like everybody.
Everybody is pretty damn memorable.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
So I'm going to pick that one. So mine are
like the five most memorable. Like, yeah, if you were
going to do write the history of Boy Meets World,
my five would be the ones you need for season six.
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Okay, So to recap, writers five picks start with season
six episode five, Better than your Average Corey. He's got
season six episode seven, Everybody Loves Stuart. Then he has
season six episode twelve, Cutting the Cord, Season six episode thirteen,
We'll have a Good Time then, and season six episode

(38:18):
nineteen Be True. Now to recap Will, Will has season
six episode one, Part one, which is with his Answer
Part one, and season six episode two, Her Answer Part two.
He also has season six episode three, Ain't College Great,
the first three episodes of the show, round rounding out

(38:43):
the back too. He's got season six episode eleven, Santa's
Little Helpers, and season six episode fourteen getting Hitched. To
recap mine, I have season six episode six, Hogs and Kisses,
Season six episode eight, You're Married, You're Day, Season six
episode ten, and in Case I Don't See You Season

(39:03):
six episode fifteen, road Trip, and finally season six episode
seventeen Resurrection.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Well, you know what I'll say about season six. A
lot of very good memorable moments. Not as many great
overall episodes, but lots of really good chunks, beats, moments, scenes,

(39:36):
memorable things. So yeah, yeah, it was also.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
A little jarring coming off of season five, which could
arguably be the best season to boy Me World.

Speaker 6 (39:46):
Like, we loved season five, so coming.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
To the season four, the fourth great two.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
I mean but I mean you could argue that those
two were the best seasons we've ever done in the show.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
I mean one would as well. But it just it
was it was a strange season.

Speaker 5 (40:02):
I mean, again, there's something to be said for the
fact that we come back, we do these drafts all
the time, and none.

Speaker 6 (40:06):
Of us could really remember the episodes. That's not a
mean something.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Well, I feel like this this season was kind of
treading water a little bit in terms of like the
through lines, because you think about Corey Topanga, they come
back having been engaged, like that was the cliffhanger, and
then kind of just stay engaged for the whole season.
So like that storyline really just this treading water and
then I feel like we introduced Rachel and then we

(40:32):
just kind of like.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Keep it in.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
I don't know, like this season, I feel like we
didn't go strong enough. I guess we killed Schantz and
we did them a baby. We tried.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
But like, if you think about where this season ends,
it's it's like almost identical to where it starts, right.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
But that's gonna get married they had to do.

Speaker 6 (40:50):
That's where we start.

Speaker 5 (40:51):
I will guarantee you if they married Corey and Tapanga
off in season six, we never would have done a
season set.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Yeah, but what here's what I think, Here's what I'm
thinking for me. Ending season five on that cliffhanger, Oh
my gosh, Topanga proposed is he going to say yes,
what's going to happen? Then opening up the season on that,
by the time we get to her answer part two,
the second episode of the season, that's where they make
the decision we are not going to rush into getting married.
We're just going to stay engaged. If they could have

(41:20):
maintained that through the entirety of season six, maybe until
the very end, when maybe when right before we find
out Topega's parents are getting divorced, they just then decide
they're going to start planning their wedding. I think we're ready,
let's do it. We could have had a million other
storylines for Corey and too Panga that didn't involve wedding Planning's.

Speaker 6 (41:39):
Your first year at college.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
That's all the college.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
Stuff you could have done.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
I mean plenty of things that weren't just Corey into
Panga based, you know, And that's why some of the
episodes that we liked were Corey screwing up, you know,
getting his classes, you know, regular kind of college stuff
that wasn't Corey Topanga based the entire time.

Speaker 6 (41:57):
Yeah, I missed Feenie this season.

Speaker 5 (42:00):
I thought they brought him in a little bit, but
not nearly as much as they should have.

Speaker 6 (42:03):
I missed the parents.

Speaker 5 (42:04):
It just it was a different dynamic the first three
or four episodes, even though I ended up picking most
of those with Sean and Jack or with Jack and
Eric and Rachel, it just y. After the third or
fourth one, it was like I don't want to see
these people in this apartment yelling about how Jack touched
her and now Eric hester run.

Speaker 6 (42:23):
It was too much.

Speaker 5 (42:24):
So it was Yeah, we were swinging for the fences
in some of these episodes, But then you have some
gems like Club Clevage, which you know, it's like that
the season is like the best we've ever done, so well.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
We also normally give ourselves team names to help our
dear listeners vote for us. So what would you call
your season six draft picks? If you were creating a team.

Speaker 5 (42:49):
Name, I would be so not to confuse anybody, I
would be Team Danielle.

Speaker 6 (42:57):
Just so, just put your vote in for Team Danielle.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
All dancing with daniel Dancing with Danielle, Danielle.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
Danielle Danielle to Panga, is what the name of my
team is? So no one gets confused. No, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
What would Jersey be. I think I'm gonna stick with
Race to the Bottom. You know what, I'm calling it?
Whipped cream?

Speaker 1 (43:26):
I'm done, which is whip whipped cream? You know what?

Speaker 3 (43:35):
It's just whipped cream?

Speaker 6 (43:37):
Okay? I like people if you know you know, if you.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
Know, you know whipped cream?

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Okay, yeah, so I'm gonna say I want to say
something like weird and not so wonderful.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
What's it like just just maybe just big swings or
because the.

Speaker 5 (43:55):
Wonderful weird instead of the wonderful Disney.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Or like I know, I'm trying to think that what
what can imply that? Like they're just memorable and a
little different and like, I don't.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
Know, I don't think I'm weird. I think I'm unique.
There you go, it's a Panka quote.

Speaker 1 (44:17):
There you go. Yeah, okay, I'll say not weird unique.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
There you go, not weird unique. Okay, I like it.

Speaker 7 (44:25):
Well, I think taking off of Ain't College great.

Speaker 6 (44:29):
I'm gonna call my list Ain't Season mediocre. So that's
going to be the name of my key.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
I like it. I did also think another one for
mine could just be Boo Nobody's Angels.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
Right, body.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Describes what happened to you personally, it's your booth moment,
Nobody's angle.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
It wasn't their fault, truly.

Speaker 5 (45:12):
And super nice to be around, but just they weren't
done right.
