They was like, y'all ain't working for real? Did y'all

our big one.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
We have tammy be interested and sharing from the uncut.
Speaker 3 (01:22):

Speaker 5 (01:38):
They need to calm down.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
So first let me just say thank y'all so much

Sorry, y'all just slipping off the tongue.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Sorry, y'all you're doing a good jobs.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Years of reality TV.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yes, I love every house, every every single one.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
I said, and I ain't changing it.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Okay, Okay, So let me ask you all this.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
There's three of y'all because I know sometimes when me
Andre on the couch and we do solo episodes, we
can get rowdy.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
It gets rowdy.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
So how do y'all, you know, work with like three
people and then sometimes y'all have guests on? So how
do y'all do that dynamic? Because I know it's a lie.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
It's been a journey, okay, because at first, because we're
real friends. Yeah, some people where they have a podcast
where it's just like we're just doing a podcast and
that's it. But we have years of friendship before the podcast,
so it's literally just like a normal.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Girls link King. So at the beginning, m hmm.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
The audio was mess.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Oh my god, hours was terrible.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
They were dragging us like every day terrible and then
get better.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Yeah, start off strong and then you're still you had
the worse. Then what's the point to say?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
I feel like another issue that we have is that
we can finish each other's sentences. So sometimes we're like
we know what we're gonna say and we interject, but
I'm trying.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
To learn how to just sit back, and so it's
real bad. Yeah we do.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
We finished under is everything all the time. I started
busting out your.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Songs, and.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I think a lot of times people be like, oh
my god, let's stop interrupting.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
You're talking.
Speaker 7 (03:46):
I don't even be mad because I'd be like, she
knew what I was gonna say, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Because I have to say what I got to say.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
Sometimes they feel like we're like arguing, like oh I
did like the way that Sharon call over bitches and
then like the way that.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Time, I'm like, yeah, oh my friends, for real, that
makes me feel so good. It will be comment about
our friendship all the time and it hurt my fings.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I'm like, y'all, me and my friend really love each other.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, it's like my sister, y'all fight with y'all, sister,
I know, y'all do.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
I love to hear that, not like I love that
at y'all too. It's a very interesting dynamic, though.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
I would love for y'all to talk about that a
little bit more, just like working with your friends, because,
like you said, there's so many people who do podcasts
together because they're like, oh, okay.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
We got a little chemistry.
Speaker 7 (04:46):
Why don't we just start some shit so we can
make some money, versus working with somebody that you're actually
friends with.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
That shit is not easy. We all do a great
job of good on camera, yeah, y'all to come from
gonna come from.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
And it's like we do a great job of making
it look good on camera. But let's be real, that
ship is nice.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Nice, it's not easy if you know where we're coming from. Hey, yeah,
we've been working, yeah, okay, trying to get the dark.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
So have y'all ever recorded like when one of them
was like mad at one of y'all was mad at
the other one or something like that, and like I
wasn't talking in real.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
Life, No, no, we haven't.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah, so we ain't trauma about it that I haven't
been speaking in real life, but you have to show up.
I was like this, and.
Speaker 7 (05:47):
At one point it was so bad because this is
before like we started recording in the studio.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
We used to record it by house.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
I had like a two bedroom apart and we were
recording the second bedroom, and like she would come over
and I'd be like hey, I'd be like and then
I'd be like you ready, And then we started recording,
and then as sold as we was done, I would
be like, oh.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Have I I'm like, well, I'll see you next week.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
And I would call my friend right after I'd be
like yet it just.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
So y'all just had y'all's first live show, right, How
was that for y'all? Because I know that was like
a I can't believe, because I will say, working with
your friend is kind of difficult at times, but when
you have moments like like look what we have done,
Look what we built, So tell us how that was
like doing that with each other and having that moment
that was.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
So fun, Like I think is very She wasn't never
a tool, like she was just like yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Give me a kind of sad I'm like, She's like
that kind of vibe me and Tammy like I think,
tell me you're a bit more nervous than I.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Yeah, I was the most nervous, which was quite shocking
for some people because of how outgoing I am.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Okay, yeah, but really and truly it was like I'm
on a stage.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (07:20):
So I had to kind of like I had to
kind of like psych myself and hype myself up. Like
but once we were on stage, and then it was
nice knowing that I could look to my right so
it's kind of like a comfort. And then because it
was kind of you're sitting down, it's relaxed, and it's
like we already do this in front of the camera,
(07:40):
so yeah, people have people watch us, So what's the difference.
Maybe just a couple of laughs and you know in
the crowd, but it's always.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Nice to I think what helped me as well as
I saw my friends in the front row, so like
you can like look to them for like reassurance that
what you're saying is funny or whatever.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
So that was good.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
And also we opened for another podcast like late last year,
and they could pass the Madcap and I think that
helped because before when we opened for them. People were
talking in the audience, and I think that would have
thrown me off if I had just done it for
the first time. I would have thought that people weren't
listening past Mecca. Yeah, yeah, they were talking. But then
(08:17):
afterwards we found out that they were actually just discussing
the dilemma that we had shared. But I think that
may have thrown me off if I just did it
for the first time on the Life Show, because I'd
be like, oh, no, one's listening to us, But that
wasn't actually the case.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
They were super engaged that with discussing here.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
But we have our friends in the autists and I
always have designated laughers.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
If and I'm like, yeah, please laugh yea.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Sometimes I tell them jogging it on here and I
look at it, just keep going.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I got this.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Last Oh yeah, I'm like, yeah, you got to have
your designated laugh so your friend there. But to look
at your friend and to have that there, it does
definitely help a lot.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Ei though, I'm glad that because obviously you guys were
at Shits and Gigs's live show as well, right, I'm
glad that we had our Lives show first, because I
think if I had gone to that first, i'd have
been like, yeah, we need to go back to board.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
That was out of this world.
Speaker 7 (09:17):
I have inem just talking about that, like, I don't
think I've ever seen anything like that in my life.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
For a live podcast. It was like a concert.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yes, like I've seen actual artists not put on a
show that great with the.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Like yeah, yeah, oh my god.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
It was normally when an artist performed that you might
see a couple of empty seats.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Was so I mean, yeah, the crowd control was amazing because,
like you were saying, sometimes when people talking can distract you. Yeah,
so having crowd control over fifteen or twenty thousand people
is absolutely insane.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
And there was one point where they were talking and.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
It was silent, like I was looking around, like.
Speaker 6 (10:03):
Yeah, and that's the first time because we go to
the OTO quite often because that's where like the big
artists calm.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
So that's the first time we've been in the where
there's been seats.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
On the floor. That's not calming. I know in.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
America when you guys have like Beyonce arenas or the stadiums,
guys have chairs on the floor. Yeah, they don't. That's
like Europe they don't do that. We do standing for
the whole the first time I've seen it, like with
chairs on the floor.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
And the fact that you can like walk the eyes
and see people just staring at the stage.
Speaker 5 (10:37):
It was I was like because.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
When me and me and bitches wanted to get a drink,
so because we were near the front, so we had
to walk all the way to the back.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
People.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
I mean when they was coming out, there was pushing it,
moved by.
Speaker 7 (10:50):
Yeah, they have such a diverse audience. Yeah, it was
this white guy that.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Was sitting in front.
Speaker 7 (10:58):
Now we have to show you out a video we
get off camera, but like it was this white guy
that was like a few seats in front of us,
and like when they started playing sixty where he was
like let that coochie breathe.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Oh, he was having a ball.
Speaker 7 (11:18):
He was so unassuming, like he had to be like
fifty out.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
And it's like, how do you know this song?
Speaker 4 (11:27):
He met Brandy J when she came to London and
there's like this white guy in the audience and he's
like dancing.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
It's about it's about five seconds song, but it's.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
Crazy brand He's like on the lily looks like he
has just left his trading desk like five minutes before
and he's like, why.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
A tire tie his top? Yeah? Yeah concert.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
I feel like the UK fans are loyal though, like
if you the UK and you have a fan for
like that's why a lot of times, like in America,
once they've done with you, they've done. But a lot
of artists they can't tour in America, but they'll come
here and they're still able to do shows and their
money and tour because we like we'd be like, oh.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
I think you guys are spoiled for choices, like you
guys like people will artists will just tour America, like
they won't come to Europe for the longest time, like
they'll announce the toy. It would just be North America
and yeah yeah yeahs the Europe. But then the crowd,
especially in London, it is unmatched. Yeah, because we know
(12:34):
we have like assembly, so we used to singing in unison.
We used to do in a primary school. Really yeah
every morning.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
You go to the halls.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Yeah you sing him, you sit down, you singing him.
Everybody was singing all together.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Like what kind of song or the same? No different
different on different different ones.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Every time.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Was the players of Legion.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
With have an assembly. He would sing songs. Yeah, that's
how we're so good at singing in unison as concerts.
Speaker 6 (13:04):
We know, we know how everybody to say everything same time,
same key.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Oh okay, yeah, see the mute challenge in America.
Speaker 5 (13:14):
No, no, the mute challenge in Europe was messy because
we didn't know it was a challenge.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Oh, because she did tour Europe first.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Yeah, we got yeah, we got the you know the story.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Yeah, the one with her leg was still.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
She was like, you know what's so crazy about that?
Because when Beyonce tour you were They're like, oh, she's
finally lost it.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
She does it. She don't got it no more. She
was like, all right, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
She was injured, she said wait till And it was
just amazing to watch because remember that Blue started.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah, and then the end.
Speaker 6 (13:46):
Of the tour how she started in Paris because me
and Pictures went together. Yeah, and then she came out
in London because I remember, I think on the because
I didn't actually watch the movie, I think she was
only meant to come out that one time in Paris.
But yeah, she was like no that I think she's now.
One of her classmates showed her with the negative comments.
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Yeah no, no, no no, continue and get better.
Speaker 6 (14:08):
So by the last show she was, Oh she was.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
It was like she wanted to prove people wrong.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
When she came out in Houston, I mean she's in
a huge arena. I mean everybody has stopping ex Houston,
so you know that's where Beyonce, I mean the whole
when Blue came out, everybody just stopped. Everybody had it was.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
It was a moment that life changing. You know what.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
It's crazy because I'm me Andred the type of person
it's time we go anywhere. We're like, we gotta do
this bro every time. But it's like if you didn't
leave renaissiance and feel motivated like I gotta do something more,
And it's like seeing something like ships and gives you like, Okay,
this is possible for a podcast. Like you know, I
think a lot of times we don't realize the impact
that we.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Have people's lives, like seeing what and be friends.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
And in a good positive space because I know we
all like trash reality TV, but I think it's also
good to have that balance of seeing black women just
having fun.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yeah, yeah, your podcast.
Speaker 7 (15:12):
For Girl two thousand and the end of twenty eighteen. Yeah,
so yeah for a while.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
So in October of this year, it'll be six years.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
And when I tell out, for the first three four years,
nobody was listening.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Oh no, I was like this. I was like, fuck
she and I was still knocking on her doors. I
not used to like her at that point, so I
used to be like.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Oh my god, I'm still I watched that today. See
we're gonna break out the song.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
What's up, y'all, iss your girl XP and it's Sugarl's
Ray and.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
The Cold And one thing I can say is summer
is the hardest time to save money and still reach
your financial goals. So we are here to tell y'all
about Chime dot com.
Speaker 7 (16:12):
Absolutely, it's so much going on, like you want to
get your cute FeAs you're trying to go on vacation.
And that's even more reason why I feel like I
need my money right I need my money and I
need it right now. And that's what I love about
Chime is that you can get your direct deposit early
and if you overdraft, they have up to two hundred
dollars and they have a fee free overdraft.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
See I like that because don't charge me because I
use too much money. I ain't got it. So what
you're gonna do is go to Chime dot com backslash
poor minds. That's Chime dot com. Backslash poor minds. Reach

Speaker 3 (17:11):
You guys been full time before.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Oh it's been about three years, I'll say, right, I
think I quit my job in twenty twenty.
Speaker 7 (17:17):
One, right, yes, so yeah, twenty twenty one, Like February
of twenty twenty one was when she like quit her job.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
So I've told this story before, but obviously I'm gonna
tell you allause we're friends.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
We girl talking. It's so crazy because when I quit
my job, I did not want to quit. They made
me quit, oh, because you had been begging her.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
She had been begging me to quit. But I was
just so scared, like I had never just not.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Had a job.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
And literally I was at work and my manager she really,
like really liked me, and she was like, hey, the
higher up ups are get telling me like, if you
can't be here full time. We hired you full time,
you can't be here part time. But not only was
I part time, but I was like one day a
week because it was like poor minds was getting so
busy and we would have to pop up at the studio.
Hey this person in town. They want to record. Yeah,
(17:58):
and I'm like I had to be availab.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
She was like, I got you. I'm gonna put you
on the schedule one day a week. They found out.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
She was like, Hey, either you gonna be here five
days a week or we gotta let you go because
I'm gonna tell y'all what happened. Yeah, she used to
be on the computers that work uploading poor minds and
they caught her ass logged in. So yes, that was like, look,
you have to make a choice.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Let's see. At the time, like wife fights Foster, what
used to be like looking up the cameras.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
I was getting it done period. And then it got
to the point too, where I was kind of a distraction.
Like people started coming into this because I used to
work at European Wax Center at the front desk.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Yeah, so people would.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Come and they knew who I was. They're like, oh
my god x P. They taking pictures and my coworker's like,
what what are you doing outside of here? And I'm like, hey, guys,
I'm been like my wife button up.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Oh my god. It was so embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
But honestly, when she she was like, you have to
make a decision, and I was like, okay, well, I
was like I have to leave. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
I went in the car, cried, I cried, I cried.
I call Dre. I was her day. Maybe.
Speaker 7 (19:04):
She was like big South outside And we literally went
to Jamaica a week later.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Yeah, we did. We did.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
It's hard, but it was like the best dishes. I
think sometimes I think so too.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
I think like It's definitely scary though, you know, like
jumping off the ledge and just solely focusing on your
talents and feeling like, oh that can make me money.
It's scary, you know, especially if you're used to like
getting a consistent check every two weeks or every month
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:34):
Yeah, okay, Now in that space where we're like, okay,
we could have some free time, we like seeing the paycheck.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, so how do y'all navigate that? Because I know
y'all are busy, Like, I know, it's hard to balance.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
I tell you, I got ready in the toilet at
work today, yay.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
I came straight from my office. I got in the
disabled twitter to come here today.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Yeah, it's so hard because also I have to be
off four days a week.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
So girl, it's not like work from home, so you
can't be.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Like typing and put on your lash. Yeah, like I'm
telling you. And it's like, honestly, like now I'm doing
it full time though, it's like it's still hard work
because if you don't if we don't drop that episode
or somebody don't edit something, I'm not getting paid and.
Speaker 7 (20:23):
Then we can't do we can't we can't not drop
an episode like she can't not be on time because
they be on our ass. Yeah, they'd be like, okay,
we're the episode egg.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
And then we have like a staff.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
So it's like it's people like we have to pay
like you know, cause they're depending on us.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Now, Bitch, these jokes better hit.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Bitch because they gotta pay their rent to I'm gonna
laugh no matter what, bitch.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Everybody in the background bet aloud. Y'all want to get paid.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
Bit Oh, that's a different type of pressure too, like
having to pay people like we have like a whole staff,
like we have like not is it nine people?
Speaker 3 (21:05):
I think it's not.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yeah, So the thing that's about me Andre, that's a
little different though. It's like one thing about us. We're
so invested in our careers, so we're gonna take a
pay cut just to make sure everybody gets paid. But
we're good with our money told. So it's like if
we need to invest in something to like make it happen,
we're gonna be like, hey, we're gonna take this money
home this month, but we gotta invest in this. We
gotta make sure this person get paid and this because
we're gonna make something happen. I think we just believe
(21:28):
in ourselves so much, and I think once you take
that leap, it'll show with like everything, because even us
being here is crazy, Like I can't even believe that
we're here, like even recording with Y'alluse, I'm like, damn,
this is like a big thing thing for this. Like
I'm telling y'all we on the floor recording and they
love y'all.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Because I think not about you guys really here, just
you way you are literal than me. So nice to hear,
but I.
Speaker 7 (22:08):
Mean it is I understand though, it's it's so much
to like I said, take that leap of faith, because
it's nothing like that consistent, just no coming in and
with us like for a while.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
We know where it was crossing my fingers, like Lord,
please let some come through this month.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yeah, okay, now y'all know we're getting we get chatty now.
So I wanted to play a little game before we
get into these topics. Go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 7 (22:36):
Well, before we got into the game, I did want
to ask y'all, so, like, what do y'all want to
do with the podcast?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Like what is like y'all goal? Yeah, with the podcast?
Speaker 5 (22:45):
Hmm, yeah, we're done, But.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
I think it's such a great question.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
I think for me, my goal, like my sole focus
right now is being able to do it full time.
Like for me, that is where I can like mark
success because I think numbers are great and everything, but
until it like actually materializes into actual cash, then it's
like we still are like kind of tied to our
like full time jobs. And I was saying to Beatrice
(23:12):
yesterday that like, for me, it's harder for me now
to sharp at work because I know how much joy
my podcast brings me. So now it's like harder because
like I'm like, I know this can make me a
check as well, though you and I can.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Be happy doing it at the same time.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
So for me, my goal is to be able to
do it full time and to be able to do
stuff like we're doing, like tour and stuff like yeah yeah, yeah,
like if you call my community like our own community,
but it's also like community to other.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
People, yeah, able to tall like yeah, I think that
for me would just be like chef. Okay.
Speaker 6 (23:45):
I think for me, I want to be able to
step into a lot of other things. I think that yes,
the podcast is great, I'd love to see it success
to be successful, but I want to go into so
many different things. And yeah, I feel like I feel
like my full time job just I love my job.
I do like I can do it with sleeping, but
(24:07):
I just feel like there's so many other things that
I want to challenge myself with and my job isn't
challenging for me. I want to step into different things.
I want to do different things. I want to walk
into the room when people know who I am. Yeah,
that's why I want that, you know, you know that
kind of energy because there's so many people in the
UK where you know exactly as soon as they're walking,
you know who they are, right, and I want it.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
That's your fear.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
That's the thing I like.
Speaker 6 (24:30):
No, But when I say the same when I say
that people I like to be I like to be
under the writer.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
When I've been walking places, they'd be like, oh my god, right,
I feel like no.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
But I'm saying it from an aspect, not that people
are like being in your business and things like that.
But I want people to like, no, like exactly your talent,
talent I am so if someone will so, if someone
will like, oh, I want to work with that person.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
Yeah, fans.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (25:04):
Want to walk into the room and people. I want
to work with that person. I've seen her, I've seen
what she does, I've seen her job, I've seen what
she can do. Maybe we can transfer some of the
skills that she's got here and her. Yeah, I just
want to have done. I feel like I've got so
much more to give, and I feel like time is
just wasting away with like just in this job and
things like that.
Speaker 5 (25:23):
Like I feel like time is running out.
Speaker 7 (25:24):
So yeah, you feel like you could be spending your
time more wisely, Like.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
Yeah, like even like I do I say I do,
I meant to like going to like makeup, doing my makeup,
like like to tours and stuff like.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
By the way, I mean everybody what I'm saying, eat
with the makeup, y'all, eat down with the maker.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Thank you. So that's what I really want to do.
Speaker 6 (25:49):
And I just find like I just literally have no
time to do anything because it's either I'm at work
or I'm recording the podcast or we're doing other stuff
for the pocket.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
That has no time to breathe.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Honestly, it's crazy because I always said, look, I am
not shamed to work because in America is a thing like.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Oh, you got to hustle and get it. You're not
supposed to clock in me.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I'm a clock in work. If I got some extra time,
I'm going to work. Only reason I'm not working on
because I ain't got no time. But I always said,
like I wouldn't mind going back to work if I
have to. But like I'm so immersed in that, like
I'm in way too deep, like because it's like when
I'm working, like she will tell you it's crazy because
like I'm very strict when it comes to work.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
I'm like, we.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Gotta get up, we gotta do this, we gotta do that.
But it's just like I know what I can do
and I get that. Like when I walk in the room,
I want people to like straighten up, like, oh shit,
Lex be here, like you know, like Lex here, like ooh,
I gotta impress her.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
I was like I wanted that present. You know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
So I definitely get what you're saying, like you know,
And I think too, with podcasting, we don't get the
same respect as a lot of other people do in
the creative field because I think it's just sitting on
the couch and talking.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, it's so easy.
Speaker 6 (26:54):
But it's like like, obviously we always referring to us
working full time, but we need be at the studio
at midnight.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, that's what I'm telling you.
Speaker 6 (27:03):
The only time that we can actually have like some
downtime because their jobs are quite demanding, so we're working
around them as well. So and I'm a friend, so
I'm not going to be like, oh no, guys, we
have to record it five ye right, yeah, yeah exactly.
So it's a lot of late nights and it's a
lot of just a lot of effort. And then when
you have people like they need to band mics, I just.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Like, yeah, yeah, you don't even know what I say.
Like the podcasting bit, like what we're doing now is
probably like ten percent of what we do.
Speaker 7 (27:32):
Yeah, this is so much more than into it behind
the scenes of like making the actual episode be good,
presenting it, making sure that people like it, the clips,
like you said everything. It's like this is a very
small portion, but at the end of the day, our soul.
Let's clap it up for ourselves. Because to be able
to make money hello from being yourself. Yeah, it is
(27:56):
not something that everybody can do.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
I was gonna say, like, I don't know how is
the actually, but yeah, for us growing up so we
grew up in Essex or not in London, so actually
there wasn't a lot of black people where we grew up.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
So for us like being like being talkative, being loud,
not loud, but I.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
Mean like just how express it. No, it was like
toned down.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
So for me, it's so rewarding where people are, oh
my god, the way she's reacting to something. It's so loud,
it's so funny. But I'm like, I've literally been shamed,
yeah all my life.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
And I love your reactions to subject. I was practicing girl.

kind of we know y'all's personality, but we wanted to
get into some like Tea really liked.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Yeah, y'all drink, sip, y'all drink.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
So this is called who is most likely okay? So
y'all have to give an answer, and I want to see,
like the two versus one who's gonna be okay?
Speaker 5 (31:46):
So be truth.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
The first one is who is most likely to be late?
Oh that's real meant and it's crazy because I'm not
too bad with time. I'm not great with time. But
(32:09):
like I do this thing and it gets on her,
nurse soull but I know it does.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I do this to her.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
We in the hotel I'll stand in the door with
the door open, like come on, come on, because I
know she makes her feel rush you out.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
She's like, oh but she don't care. She'd be like
she don't start moving slowly. One thing about me the
world stops wait on me. But is not punctual either,
lots more punctual than you.
Speaker 7 (32:44):
Barely, barely, Like do you think more punctual? It's like, oh,
I'm there two minutes earlier.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Than you, but I'm the earlier than you here. Okay, okay, okay,
go ahead with the second dress.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Okay, So who is most likely to be kissing in
the club.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
I think I'm going to say me actually.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Late for the club, maybe before, but I'm a head
over and direct here in the You love really.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
But out of austri Yeah, yeah, depends like what are
we talking? Are we talking like relationship because that's betrip
it relationship? Were like maybe I'm feeling like yeah, man,
what the hell? You'll have a little dream everybody turns up.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
The music is good. He might.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
You know, snogging and tongue no no, no, but like
a little like sultry.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
This podcast you never seen because I haven't exactly number one,
but number two. I'm like, I'm like kissing the club,
but nobody will see me. Tell people after that, that's
what happened.
Speaker 5 (34:09):
You know.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
I'm a low key baby sign aries.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Oh okay, okay, of course Scorpio Ah, I love Okay,
that's fair, that's fair.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Okay. Who is most likely to cheat? I don't know.
Strong Yeah okay, I like that.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
No che.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
See if this was like goa be like me, I
was cheat Now I can cheat on everything, my man,
a test, whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
I just cheat for fun, for the sport. Now the game.
I love the game. She love the game. I love
I love it. I'm an Olympian baby right now in
my thirties. Yeah, no, not at all. I've changed. Yes,
(35:19):
what you got, Drea? Who is more likely to ask
a man for money? Oh? Temmy, Oh she knows. I
like her.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
I love.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
My girl. So how do y'all ask out here? Because
I say, you tell him? Because we don't. We don't know.
Speaker 6 (35:39):
I don't particularly ask. I've never like asked a guy
for money. I've never been like, give you money.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Okay, damn, she said, hold on, hold were really gang?
Speaker 6 (35:55):
I just be like I'm going like I'm going to
get my head on. Okay, I like that I'm going
to get my nels done indirectly. Yeah, not that they
feel too much pressure, but it's kind of like, yeah,
so you know, like I'm getting my toes.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Done, okay, but would you say an expectation you're talking
to a guy like typically guys pay for my hand nails. No, no, no,
it has like it gets to a stage where we're like,
is a relationship or like even before just before, just before.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
Getting my nels done on the first day.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
But it's so different. But I will say is a
little different.
Speaker 6 (36:37):
Yeah, the same way as like I'm more of an
indirect person, but I'm about positioning.
Speaker 7 (36:42):
Yeah, but I'm a throw the clothes out there. Yeah,
I'm just like, like, let me say about this one
little date I have. So I have just started dating
this guy and Lex had wasted wine. She had just
moved to Atlanta and she wasted wine.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
On my mech book.
Speaker 7 (37:01):
I was and we could not turn it on, like
it was not working. We were trying to start pouring minds.
We needed that laptop. Yeah, So I went on date
with this guy and he was like, so, what you
want to do when you leave here? I said, I
about to go to the Apple store. Linx was not
about to go because I didn't have no money, but
(37:22):
I was like, I'm gonna go to the Apple store
and he was like, what you about to get? And
I said, I need to get another mac boog. I
was like, my friend had wasted wine on my Mac.
But he was like, I'll go get it for you'll
bring it to you.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Hey, now, let me tell I'm sorry you right there
because you came in and he.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Sorry, no, no, no, no, you came in. Hey, you
came in. I think that's very different, very different. You
have to you have to.
Speaker 6 (37:50):
You're gonna get an iPhone, charge of the blockers, Okay,
let me, okay, want to.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Facts.
Speaker 6 (38:01):
I'm a funk, which I don't even thought even give
me the two meet one.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
I need the ten foot We love UK.
Speaker 6 (38:11):
Member, there is a different There is difference even when
we go to Nigeria, like, oh yeah, it's different. It's different.
Even our friends talkless of the guys that are like interesting, Yeah, friends, the.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Culture in Nigeria is completely different.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Women do not women don't cute, women don't stand, women
don't pay.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
It is a soft life.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
When I went to Legols, honestly, I went for I
went what was that twenty nineteen or twenty two?
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Am I talk about life changing? Yeah, grand time, we're
yeah outside, I had a outside.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Yeah. And it's like I I've always kind of are
used to date Nigeria mean a lot, so I was
kind of used to that. But like seeing like all
the girls are getting treated like doesn't doesn't matter who
you are, what you look like, anything.
Speaker 5 (39:10):
You don't even have to date.
Speaker 6 (39:11):
You don't have to be dating your friends would be like, okay,
the billings here, Yeah, we're not even we don't even
know how much we spent nothing.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
I've actually never and see I love it.
Speaker 7 (39:27):
That's not like my type. Yeah, yeah, we're going in,
going into I'm coming with you.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Yeah yeah, okay, we got one more. We got one more.
Who is most likely to give a man money? Oh
that's definitely oh.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
Not big big, you know what before it depends, It depends, Okay,
I think it depends, but I don't know what the
difference is. I would say the difference is for you
relationship okay, yeah, okay, yeah, some people needed toe.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Just the way they were looking at amen. Okay, that's understanding.
When the Laura has worked though. You know that's commendable.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Good Samaritan, We like that. Okay, you want to bring
in the look, we didn't even got to the first
topic yet.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
We have not got this. We should have been hanging
out the whole time. I don't want to go home
for you.
Speaker 5 (40:44):
When you come back.
Speaker 7 (40:46):
We're gonna come back in July. We're gonna be right big. Okay,
y'all for the first topic. I feel like people always
talk about red flags relationship, right, Nobody ever talked about
redflex and friendship. So what's some reflecs for y'all when
(41:07):
it comes to your friends, like you like m I
can't talk with you?
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Okay, she had one. Y'all know everything. We are cued
up and mind you somebody. We ran into this guy
(41:36):
at the other day.
Speaker 7 (41:37):
He was like, are y'all queueing? And I was like
what And he was like, are y'all queueing? I said,
are we in line?
Speaker 3 (41:47):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Line?
Speaker 3 (41:50):
I'm so American.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
I think for me, a red flag and friendships all
those friends are so unpredictable, like and then you just
never know when you're going out on the night out,
you just never know where they're gonna end up. Where
they're gonna be, if they're gonna be fighting with people,
if they're gonna be I just can't because I'm not problematic.
Speaker 3 (42:09):
At least I would say I'm not problematic.
Speaker 4 (42:11):
So for me, I'm just like, I just don't like
that thing where you're at a party and then you're
looking for your friend everywhere, the phone is awful dead,
and then you're just spending half of your night just
being like, where is this baby?
Speaker 3 (42:22):
I hate that.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
The one thing I can say about Drea, She's gonna
get lit in the club, but I can always find it.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
I never have.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Yeah, I never have to search for my girl. Never
have to search for my girl. So that actually is
a good point. Who want to go next? Who want
to go next? Trying to think I'll go while you're thinking.
I do not like people who are tit for tet Like,
(42:50):
if I do something for you, I'm doing that the
goodness of my heart because you're my friend. I don't
like people that's okay, Well I did this this time,
that time, that time, and you only did this for me.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
It's like I didn't know we was keeping tabs.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
That is a big red flag for me because it's
kind of like you're doing stuff for me to throw
it in my face later whenever you're mad at me.
Because one thing I can say, it was like me
and this is Girnna been through hell and high water.
So but no matter what we went through, she never
threw it in my face. Of like the times that
she helped me and that I needed her, it was
never like that. If I did some ship, she was
(43:22):
just like, you're a bitch. But it wasn't like you're
a bitch that I loan money to think.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
I'm a great friend.
Speaker 5 (43:35):
Yeah, so I will say, I like, yeah, yeah, these girls,
yeah beautiful. Yeah, they could not find me.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
What do you mean can't find you? We were looking,
I said. We was still recording the podcast. We turned
up to the coding. Oh and they let you come back.
It's a real friend.
Speaker 6 (44:06):
I was going I was going to break Okay, Okay,
it's a really heartbreak up two years ago.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
Yeah it is two years.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
Wow, glory, because how long have you been on your time?
For four years? Okay? Okay?
Speaker 5 (44:21):
Yeah, So I think for me, red flag and friendship probably.
Speaker 6 (44:28):
I'm trying to think someone who's always someone who's entitled, okay,
always thinking that they like they need that they always
I don't know that they're like I've been through I've
been in some friendships where someone always feels like they need,
like they're they're old.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
Something all the time. So I don't like entitlement period.
Speaker 3 (44:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
So do you mean like like those friends like they
feel like they have to talk to you every day
and if they don't like something like that or no.
Speaker 6 (44:55):
So, like I had a friend where he always felt
like he God told me, like I'm trying to hint.
I'm trying to hint to you who it is, like
he always taking take and take it, oh okay.
Speaker 3 (45:11):
Never really like yeah, reciprocated, oh.
Speaker 6 (45:18):
Yeah, and always feelings yeah, and thinking that they're you know,
I can't I can't deal with yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
And it's like when you draw that boundary, it's like
you're the most horrible person in the world.
Speaker 5 (45:28):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
Yeah, when people that's one thing, like I understand.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
It's like when people draw boundaries, I'm not from like, hey,
I'm cool, like just let me know if you need anything.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
I'm here. I'm not like, oh my god, you can't
do this for me anymore.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Like I think that's real weird, but that's a good
one because a lot of people feel entitled to your time.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
Yeah, in space everything, How hard does it now? As well?
Speaker 4 (45:51):
Like with the podcast, Like I just feel like it's
so much harder to be an amazing friend to like
all of your twenty friends or whatever. And I just
feel like the people who just yeah, like I don't
even have enough time for myself. Like I'm like literally
so like the.
Speaker 5 (46:05):
People that always, oh my gosh, you never call me.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
You never do.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
I'm like, you don't have a fun like you can
call me as well, Like I'm fighting for my live
hit chat.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
And the crazy thing is, like you just said, they
don't be calling like but they be like, oh, you.
Speaker 3 (46:19):
Too busy for me. I think it's like a weird thing.
Speaker 7 (46:21):
As you start to become successful and your stars starts
to rise, people look at you and they're like, oh,
well you need to hit me up.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
I don't need to hit you up. You see what
the fuck I got going on? I don't know what
you got going business? Every day? See, I'm busy. You
see I'm recording, you see I'm in London. Yeah you
see what the fun?
Speaker 1 (46:48):
Yeah that's but.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
It's like they want you to like still have the
I don't want to say.
Speaker 6 (46:55):
The same energy because they want that because yeah, because
of like the success of all of us, some people
feel like they still want to be attached to you.
Speaker 3 (47:07):
Oh yeah, but don't forget me.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
Don't forget me whilst I don't leave me behind.
Speaker 7 (47:11):
It's like left, I want to say, or I haven't
forgot you. Yeah, I'm literally just busy. And if it's
one of people left, some people have got left.
Speaker 6 (47:27):
Yeah, But that's what I was agree because how people
have to get for you to shine, some people have
to go.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
Yeah, I actually.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Haven't had that situation yet where people are like leaching
onto me for like anything, or like even or even
the fact that I haven't had to I haven't had
to like let anyone go. I feel like my real
friends like they understand. But then there's some people that
are just like I'm not gonna lie, Like, clearly you
an acquaintance because the fact that you're like pestering me
(47:54):
so much to always.
Speaker 6 (47:56):
I'm not talking about like my ride or die friends
or I have to so and so I'm talking about
the extra ones, but like that still want to cling
on you, but like, oh you we used to have
something on every single Thursday.
Speaker 5 (48:09):
Now we don't have it. Yeah, because I'm in the studio.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
I'm busy.
Speaker 6 (48:13):
And even from from when we were younger to now, yeah,
things change, Like I'm not doing the stuff I was
doing when I was eighteen. I'm now twenty seven. I
don't have the same time that I did before. Like
there's stuff going on, and like you said, we're on
the screen. You can see what we're doing. We're getting
one meal on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
You see what we're doing.
Speaker 5 (48:38):
So it's like you don't have time.
Speaker 3 (48:42):

But trust me, you do not want to miss out
on this exclusive content period we bottle popping.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
I want to take us with cool Spot.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
I have a question, how have you guys like navigated
because I know it's my friendships, but how have you
guys navigated like dating being as busy as you are, Like,
how do you make time for that swifting?
Speaker 3 (50:00):
I'm in time for my man. Okay, birl, she don't
make nothing but time? Did you meet him before you
saw it?
Speaker 2 (50:07):
The I did?
Speaker 4 (50:08):
You know?
Speaker 2 (50:08):
It's crazy because I always kind of liked like the
nine to five guy that had a job because I
felt like it brought me balance.
Speaker 3 (50:13):
But as my schedule got busier.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
I figured that it wasn't it wasn't really working just
because it was like my free time. Sometimes we go
on a weird day in the middle of the day,
like he's at work or this an x y Z.
So now I'm dating someone he's kind of in the
same space, like he creates content and like he works
for himself.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
So it works for us.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
And I think also with the content I make, like
I talk about everything, I'm talking about sucking toes like
a big second. Yeah, But one thing about it is
like he gets it because he knows it's funny, like
I'm packing a joke.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
He doesn't take it personal.
Speaker 2 (50:45):
So I think for me now in this space, it's
easier to date somebody who does the same thing. But honestly,
like we never like argue about us being busy because
he's very busy as well. So I think, honestly, this
is about like the easiest relationship I've been in just because.
Speaker 3 (51:01):
We do the same thing. Yeah, potentially, yeah, he understands.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
I used to avoid it because I was like, I
don't want it to look like, oh, she's just dating
him because they're in the same world. Because the kids
kind of corny, I hate couples who create contents.
Speaker 3 (51:15):
I hate a couple's content in the morning with the
camera over there, yes, like they like and then they's
all over like kiss each other. You set that camera
up on this lady.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
She was like, my baby can't sleep, bitch, because you
got the ring light on it. Let that baby rest
you the time of ring, like the baby can't see.
Speaker 3 (51:46):
Blind with Jesus. I hate that type of content.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
So I always gott to avoid those type of guys
because I always kind of felt like guys who.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Created content, I hope.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
I don't know anybody, but I always thought that they
would like ask me or like, let's start doing content together.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
Let's start doing that. So I always kind of avoided it.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
But like meeting him is like, Okay, you do your
thing and I do mine, you know, so it works.
It's real, real cool.
Speaker 5 (52:13):
Have you ever dated someone that had the problem is
like you did the podcast.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
Not to have Okay, I'll let you take this. I
don't fuck with that, nigga.
Speaker 7 (52:24):
If it's gotta come between me and what I want
for my life and what I'm choosing to do and
dating you, nigga, goodbye. Because the thing about men that
I hate about women is that we are always going
to like choose love.
Speaker 3 (52:39):
Over our careers. Men they gonna be like, if.
Speaker 7 (52:44):
You think if that same nigga that is telling them
he don't want you to do X, Y and Z,
do you think he's gonna stop doing what he's doing
because you're like, oh.
Speaker 3 (52:53):
I don't like that, I'm not gonna date you anymore.
He's gonna be like, all right, girl, goodbye.
Speaker 7 (52:57):
Like men are always gonna put themselves first, and that's
that's one thing they ate. They ate that they put
themselves first relationships. So how was dating for y'all now
in this space that y'all are because I know you
said being open was kind of like a bad thing,
So how was dating for y'all now that y'all have
(53:18):
the podcast?
Speaker 4 (53:19):
I don't think I just I'm not just, but like
I was in a relationship okay, and then that recently
now becomes single.
Speaker 3 (53:26):
So like I'm still trying to navigate it. But I
feel like you hit the ground. I've been at a
single bus stop. I still ain't caught the bus. I
do think though, obviously you know they get this, like
you're gonna mention me on the pod.
Speaker 5 (53:44):
I get.
Speaker 3 (53:46):
I don't like that.
Speaker 6 (53:47):
When I was like, oh, you're going to use this
for content, I'm nothing makes means nothing. There's nothing in
this situation content. Even the outtakes the blue were not
even including.
Speaker 3 (54:03):
Yeah, you can't even get a Patreon episode You're safe friends.
Speaker 7 (54:12):
But that's a cheat code though, dating somebody that's in
the same space, because my last relationship it was the
same thing, like we are in the same space.
Speaker 3 (54:24):
He kind of works more behind the scenes. Yeah, I
like that. I love me a low key. I don't
want nobody who want to be all in front of
the camera. Not my man, I call it.
Speaker 5 (54:38):
I like the guy.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
Like that.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
But it's the first time I've dated a guy that's
really like it's fun because he's goofy.
Speaker 3 (54:47):
Yeah I'm goofy. So yeah, we'll be having a ball.
Speaker 5 (54:50):
We having a ball. Yeah, And you don't have to
explain anything.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
And that's the main thing for me because one thing
about it, like when I was dating when I was single,
if you bring up anything I've ever said on the podcast,
my god in a angry way.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
Oh you're cut off.
Speaker 5 (55:07):
Yeah, that's happened to me before.
Speaker 7 (55:08):
Oh yeah, because he was waiting, you was you was
holding pain, that pain was manifested, yeah, waiting to say yeah,
I was gonna say as well.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
Like I think we were talking about dating, like now
that we're online and stuff, and obviously we talk about
our preferences, what we like, yeah, we don't like, And
I feel like it gives men like a slight advantage
because they come to me knowing about.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
Me, and I'm like, I fucking hate that. I'm like,
so you like your to my man watched episode two
thirty seven, Yeah you're not yea.
Speaker 7 (55:43):
My man told me that though he said he was like, honestly,
he was like, if I ever wanted to know anything,
like he was like, if I wasn't with you, obviously,
like if I wanted to know anything about you and Lens,
I would just go watch like episodes of from like
two years ago because.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
It would tell me everything that I need to know.
Do you think there's certain things that you like don't
like to show on the puch? Really? You just like
girl when I said I hate say imagine the city,
But now we have we share a lot of stories.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
We're very open with our listeners, but I will say
I think behind closed doors, you will still never know
the real us for real. Yeah, I think the conversations
that me and Drea have on a daily basis, like
me and this girl really be on the phone like
them there every day for like.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
Five hours, sometimes six hours. So I think it's like
it's a life all the time. I'm for real, it
really be like that.
Speaker 2 (56:41):
But I say because I feel like at the end
of the day, we're y'all are only getting us for
one hour per week, and we know what.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
Entertains y'all this side.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
We're very complex women, as I'm sure y'all are too,
So I know there's different sizes of y'all that the
public really doesn't see because it's not interesting. Y'all wouldn't
find the shit interesting that I really every day Like
that shit is not interesting, the same shit every day.
So I think for us like there is like if
we had a camera follow us around all day, they'd
be like.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
Oh shit, turn this shit out. I'm putting everybody to sleep.
Speaker 7 (57:16):
Because I go back a little bit to like the
friendship thing because I just thought of a pet peep
that I really have with people I cannot be friends
with no mean big I hate mean people because this
is my thing. I don't care cause some people to
be like, well, I don't care if they don't treat
me like that, as long.
Speaker 3 (57:36):
As like it's other people.
Speaker 7 (57:37):
Yeah, I feel like it's a good indication of like,
however you treat other people, at some point, you will
treat me like that too.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
I just don't like mean ass people, like some women
and some men.
Speaker 7 (57:49):
Are just rude and nasty, Like I pay attention to
people that are mean the servers.
Speaker 3 (57:54):
Yeah, yeah, because that's another thing too.
Speaker 7 (57:56):
I feel like sometimes people look down on people that
work like the service industry, and like you're beneath me.
I don't know if you if you treat service bed
or you don't want to tip me, because that's the
big thing in American culture.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
You'll be saying.
Speaker 4 (58:27):
That's so true though, and also because I just feel
like I wouldn't want to be associated with someone that's mean,
because I just feel like other people think I'm like
you and.
Speaker 3 (58:35):
That is not me.
Speaker 5 (58:36):
So like.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
I feel like I'm sometimes misunderstood. Okay, so you're a
little street, I'm not. I'm not, but I think okay,
so you mentioned that you're quite like.
Speaker 4 (58:49):
A strict person, right, I think for me, my delivery
sometimes to some people.
Speaker 3 (58:55):
Can come across as strict. So like with my friends,
I'm very direct.
Speaker 4 (58:59):
Like example, my girls know, like one of the core rules,
like the principles that I stand back, I cannot find
out that you've got a problem with me from someone else.
Speaker 3 (59:12):
But that's real, that's real.
Speaker 4 (59:14):
But the thing is, though, like that, some people don't
like that because, for example, I understand you might have
a problem with me.
Speaker 5 (59:20):
You might want to discuss it with your friends, say, oh,
how should I approach it?
Speaker 2 (59:23):
Right?
Speaker 3 (59:23):
Right? But I cannot stand it.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
So when I see that, not that I flip, but
I'm very much direct, I'm like, I can't like, I
don't like when you do X y Z. So maybe
I need to work on my delivery. But I know
that's one thing. Just think about the mean girl. Some
people take it the wrong way to me that you.
Speaker 3 (59:41):
Know what I mean? That's really like staying out business.
Speaker 6 (59:50):
Something I just mean for like reason basic how someone
looks or how someone like you just mean like I hate, yeah,
you know what you mean for no reason, like you.
Speaker 5 (01:00:06):
You don't even know that person. Where is it coming from?
Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
Why you feel mean?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Like?
Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
Draft.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
The other day she was like she says something. She
was like something about me being a little mean or
grumpy or something. But she says, because you're getting older.
Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
In that old age. Yeah, irritable. I'm irritated. I'm thirty four. Okay,
I'm irritated, bitch. I'm tired, my heart.
Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
I need to lay down. And she knows this about me.
One thing I love about dres you know when I'm tired. Yeah,
she don't bother me. She just let that auntie go
to bed.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Let me go to bed. Because one thing I hate
another red flag to me.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
If I tell you I don't want to go somewhere,
please don't ask me thirty times?
Speaker 3 (01:00:47):
Yeah, come on please, friend, friend, bitch, we's in a
fight home, I'm going to bed. One thing about me,
I go by myself.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
And that's the good thing about Jo. She'd be like, hey, friend,
you're gonna come with me, And I was like, oh, no, friend,
I'm not gonna go. She's like, okay, bye.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
But it's like it's just that peer that peer pressure. Yeah.
If I say I don't want to take a shot,
don't ask me take no shot.
Speaker 5 (01:01:13):
Respect.
Speaker 7 (01:01:14):
I said what I said and changing it because I
know what the fuck I said if I said no, bitch,
no mean no.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
But I think we're so good friends. Like sometimes I'll
be like, no, I want to shot you be like
you sure, and I'm like, all right, that's.
Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
Different, are you sure?
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Yeah, Like I'm not, but I don't think that's mean
what you said.
Speaker 7 (01:01:41):
I would not want to find out that somebody that
I'm friends with being talking to hell of other people like,
oh I don't really funk with her like that, Oh
she be doing this, so she'd be doing that, and
like I don't like that, and then I hear from
somebody else, but you can't come tell me.
Speaker 4 (01:01:57):
Yeah, But the things that some people don't like confrontation.
So for me, i'm very much as immediate.
Speaker 5 (01:02:02):
I have an issue.
Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
You're gonna know that day, I don't know. Yeah, literally,
So I think that's the issue. Though some people are
very much and maybe I have to get used to it.
But you know, friendship, that's one of the things that
it's a bit difficult, is but how you.
Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
Yeah, you're not confrontational. She not neither. I'm go asleep.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
But I've learned a lot from you on how to
because the thing is like I'm not confrontational, but there
was a point in my life where things were really
bothering me, but I was just allowing people to walk
all over me and I just didn't I didn't like
what they were doing, but I didn't know how to
confront them. So she I've learned a lot from you
on how to, like, you know, address those situations. So like, yeah,
I feel like I've reached a semi balance. Yeah, because
(01:02:45):
confrontation is unavoidable. You're gonna have to at some point.
Speaker 7 (01:02:49):
You came with people play with you, though, like you
have to stand I guess I just always kind of
being like that, like you have to stand up for
yourself because at the end of the day, I understand
probably how frontation can make you uncomfortable, And the same
thing with her.
Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
I tell her that all the time.
Speaker 7 (01:03:04):
But if you don't say something though, like how many
times are you gonna keep letting somebody play?
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Okay? Yeah, and then they feel like they could keep
doing it. That's about of people. Once they think they
got away with something, and.
Speaker 6 (01:03:19):
It's like they'll keep on doing it, but they'll be
doing it more and more every time. It won't be
the same thing.
Speaker 5 (01:03:25):
Yeah, it's just time. Three cookies.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Okay, So you don't have to give a you don't
have to go into depth of what why if you
do if you feel the need to explain yourself, you can't, okay,
but just give us an answer.
Speaker 3 (01:06:28):
Okay. So we're gonna start with this or that, the
booty or the cootie? What kind of sex do you like?
The booty or the cootie? Which can you prefer? I'm like,
(01:06:49):
okay on the night okay, okay, the second one for
play or straight to it? Oh, y'all like to make load.
Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
But the thing is, it's like, how can you get
that if you if you haven't had full play, that's like.
Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
Let's get You know, you gotta roll over and just
throw that. You just let him slider. You hadn't even
birched TV.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
I know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
You you don't.
Speaker 7 (01:07:31):
You gotta turn it over, Yo, don't kiss me. Don't
got another way giving or receiving.
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
Receiving for me receiving. Okay, she like both both?
Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Oh my god, you like both the power the power
of giving. It's just different, Okay, vanilla sex or wild sex.
Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
The vanilla sex it's like very plain. Well I won't say.
Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Boring, it's just not all the bells and whistles. Well,
I wouldn't even say routine. I just feel like vanilla
sex to me is just like it's not all the
bells and whistles, Like it's not too freaky. We're not
doing that, you know, we just we're having normal sex.
It's like if somebody saw it on the camera, they're like,
oh my god.
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
I think it depends on the person.
Speaker 4 (01:08:33):
Yeah, because I feel like relationship relationship sex, I'm just
outside of relationship sex, it's different.
Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Okay, So which one do you have?
Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
Wild sexy in the relationship the circle back to circle back?
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
Oh? Okay, because you're like, miss let me show you what.
Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Y'all.
Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
Okay, Okay, so Vanilla's a while six the second one. Wow, wow,
see that's the sweet one.
Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
It's always a quad. I'm Vanilla.
Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
I'm a Vanilla.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:09:13):
No, I like to get a little freaky, we know. Okay,
toys are poorn with your partner?
Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
Would you rather use toys? Yeah, with your partner? Toys? Yeah,
I agree. I'm the same. I'm the same one that one.
Because I don't want to like look over you, like, yeah,
it's good.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Like this.
Speaker 7 (01:09:38):
I don't really want to watch other people fucking with
my man. Yeah, yeah, I'm not really into that. But
like I kind of want to circle back to the
second topic that we ain't touch on because I want
to know what they think.
Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
Okay, So Little Dirk got this song, right, y'all know
who Little Dark is. He got a song.
Speaker 7 (01:09:55):
What he said, bitch, get out the street, you're touching thirty. Yeah,
but he ain't right here. In my opinion, he ain't lying.
So I wonder do y'all feel like it's a cutoff
time for being outside, Like once you get to a
certain age, you need to be like lockdown.
Speaker 5 (01:10:13):
You need to be with me and oh, lookdown with
the man.
Speaker 7 (01:10:16):
Yeah, like you need to be lockdown because he was
saying beach out the street and thirty like, why are
you still outside?
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
Critical day?
Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
Because it's like for men, they can be in the
streets forever, like they don't have a cut off point.
Speaker 6 (01:10:29):
I don't necessarily point yeah, because some four year olds
are bad. They're looking good. Yeah, she's like well into
well into Yeah. Yeah, I don't think there's a cutoff point.
Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
I think the streets look different at that age though
they're not the streets like our streets.
Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
You know, it's a different kind of street, like like
an avenue.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Avenue.
Speaker 7 (01:11:01):
I like that as long as it ain't a boulevard.
Speaker 3 (01:11:09):
Thele. What's up, y'all?
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
As your girl XP and it's Sugarl Dre and the call.

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
People will help us out today. Okay, so you want
to read question number one? You want me to read it? Girl?
I ready?
Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Yeah? Please?
Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
These questions is so like, I don't know what the
fuck going on? They're a long, right business day? Yeah,
on Christmas Day? You ain't got a.
Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Roll?
Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
Yeah. Sometimes these questions me so long, I'd be like, lord,
but we got time for one, So we just gonna
do one. We're gonna one.
Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
Okay, did you question number one? Question number one is better? Hey, y'all,
here we go.
Speaker 7 (01:15:55):
I have a friend that I've known for over twenty
years and she's getting married. While I'm super excited and
want to celebrate with her, she didn't offer me a
plus one and the wedding may.
Speaker 3 (01:16:05):
Be very uncomfortable for me.
Speaker 7 (01:16:07):
I introduced her and her fiance to each other five
years ago and they have been together ever since.
Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
Now the awkward part comes with the groom's family.
Speaker 7 (01:16:17):
I used to date his cousin and we were together
for four years and we did not have a good breakup.
I had found out that my ex was cheating on
me for over a year, and I told him that
I had a one night stand while we were together.
Speaker 3 (01:16:33):
Each other, She said.
Speaker 7 (01:16:40):
We tried to do an open relationship, and one day
after we got into an argument, he popped up at
my apartment door and saw me walking out with the
day okay, period, He followed us to our destination.
Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
Walk what the living in his car just driving along behind,
she said.
Speaker 7 (01:17:11):
He followed us to our destination, got out of his car,
what knocks on the window? Hold on it gets better,
told me to get out the car, started taking pictures
of us and sitting into his friends.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
Then he called my dad.
Speaker 6 (01:17:36):
Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, now you've been through it man,
What day that we started off with?
Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
Oh, someone's getting married and now.
Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
Looking on the window, sitting daddy, she said, sitting into
his friends.
Speaker 7 (01:17:54):
Then he called my dad and basically told my dad
I was a jesubel Jesus. I have not spoken to
him or his family since then. I blocked him on
everything and his family went ahead and unfollowed me. I
have no idea how he spun this story to his family,
but I do know he was very creative in the
message that he left my father, so I know he
(01:18:17):
didn't paint the best picture of me during the breakup.
I just want to know if I should go to
the wedding by myself to support my friend, ask her
for a plus one, or not go at all. Oh
and I forgot to mention, as far as I know,
my ex is dating the girl he cheated on me.
Why so she may be in the tennis at the
wind yay.
Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
Friend. Yeah, it's gonna give you a plus one. I agree.
He ain't even gotta eat the salmon.
Speaker 4 (01:18:47):
You don't need no plate, No need him here, Yes,
need somebody, Yes, I ain't no way, Yes, by myself.
Speaker 5 (01:19:00):
I'm just I can't go to a wedding my ex
is there with the person that he cheated on me.
Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
Sorry, go forgive me.
Speaker 4 (01:19:09):
If I could go to a website and find w
w W do find the sexy six four black man
dot com, that's the same. That's where I'm gonna Ken Moore?
Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
Yes at home? Like, now, why am I sorry? Girl?
You know I love you, but that goal was open.
She's gonna let you have a because that was absolutely
absolutely same.
Speaker 5 (01:19:38):
The fact that her ex even followed her with no,
that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:19:43):
I'm so pale. I'll be like, this puts the good.
I would take a picture of him back. I would
bring my homegirls. Yeah, like I'm not here. Yeah, I'm
not bringing our niggs. I'm bring my friends so we
could laugh at y'all. Yeah, we have a ball, get drunk.
Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
Like I'm thinking, she's your friend, you should definitely have
a plus But I don't think you should just not
gout at the end of the day, even if she
can't allow plus one.
Speaker 3 (01:20:09):
I don't know what kind of wedding she having, but
weddings are expensive. Yeah, so maybe if they're on a
strict budget.
Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
I think you should just go there ignore all that
because you're there for a reason, which is your friend
getting married.
Speaker 3 (01:20:20):
Yeah, so just focus on that, Like, don't be trying
to be there, like being like going, hey, how you doing,
how you been? You don't need to do all that.
He needs to be over here and you need to
be over there. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (01:20:31):
And the thing is with plus ones and weddings, especially
if you don't know anyone else at the wedding other
than maybe the bride and the grim. I think that
you think you should be accommodating to that and then
have a plus one by yourself looking around like, yeah,
I'm not having any fun the bride of the room.
Speaker 3 (01:20:48):
You know, some people's budget don't extend to that, and yeah,
my budget don't plus one. No, I have your plus one,
Ben walk down. I would need to be comfortable, you
need to be good. Come on, we having a bar
with that's crazy? Well, we couldn't have a ball, okay,
(01:21:11):
so we have to wrapped this up. Unfortunately, because I'm
having a ball now. I love to have a moment, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
And when I just I just want to say because
I love seeing black women in the space, and when
I say, y'all are doing absolutely amazing, and I really
just want to give y'all y'all flowers and just say
like he yes, like it's it's so good to see
that because I know a lot of times, like I think,
a lot of times, like the way me Andrea look
or wait, we present ourselves, sometimes people think, oh they're
(01:21:41):
bitches there. They don't want to collaborate with us and
work with us. And the fact that y'all, like show
pulled up on us, you know, after work and stuff.
We appreciate that so much because there's a lot of
people in the States that still won't pull up on us.
But it's amazing to have have episodes like this and
(01:22:02):
work with other people like for real.
Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
And people that don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
It's gonna say, like, you guys have been working honestly,
if nobody like, I didn't know.
Speaker 5 (01:22:13):
But the respect that I have for you guys, I
was like, no, I've never seen someone come to me.
Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
Yeah, we work.
Speaker 5 (01:22:20):
Yeah, we have a group on Instagram, so we'll be
sending the stories.
Speaker 4 (01:22:27):

like five six days straight. But I'm still about to turn.
