Speaker 1 (00:00):
This episode of All In with Pastor Jordan Easley has
been made possible by the generous support of youers like you.
Welcome to All In with Pastor Jordan Eastley. Today's message
is about to begin, and we invite you to prepare
your heart and mind to hear an inspiring message from
God's word. We hope and pray for God to speak
to you today as you seek to live your life

(00:21):
all in for Jesus Christ. And now from First Baptist
Church in Cleveland, Tennessee, here's Pastor Jordan Easley.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
You know, for over two thousand years the world has
been talking about the second coming of Jesus Christ. And today,
as we turn to the back of the Book and
Revelation chapter nineteen, God is going to give us a
glimpse of what that moment is going to be like.
If you're taking notes, the very top line on your
notes today should say the reality of His Return, because

(00:51):
it's real that Jesus is coming back. And Revelation nineteen eleven,
John said that I saw heaven open and there was
a white hole. Now, I want you to remember that
this isn't just a dream, It's not a hallucination that
John's having on the island of Patmos.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
This is a vision that he received.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
From Jesus through an angel, and the Bible says that
he saw this vision. That's what the Bible says, I saw.
Heaven opened the Lord allowed him to see what was
going to happen in the future. Now we've already seen
several things that Jesus allowed John to see. If you've
walked through this study with us, through the Book of Revelation,

(01:32):
we've seen the rapture of the Church.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
We've seen the seven years of tribulation.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
We've seen the anti Christ coming to rule and reign,
and he's given us a great vivid picture of the
details leading us up to the final battle known as Armageddon.
But now we've arrived at the moment we've all been
waiting for. This is the moment in Revelation chapter nineteen
where Heaven opens up and King Jesus comes back riding

(02:01):
on a white horse. And you may not realize that, Yeah,
you know what, get a little bit rowdy today, y'all.
Come on, you may not realize this, but the second
coming of Jesus is the primary message of the Book
of Revelation. A lot of times we read this book
and we're thinking this is a book of eschatology or
a book of prophecy. But the primary message is the

(02:21):
second coming of Jesus. Really, from the first chapter to
the last. In fact, in Revelation chapter one, it says, look,
he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will
see him, even those who pierced him. Here's the message, y'all.
Jesus is coming back. He's coming back. You know. A
few years ago I was standing on the Mount of Olives,

(02:42):
overlooking the beautiful city of Jerusalem, and as I should there,
I realized that I was standing in the exact same spot,
on the exact same amount of Olives where Jesus was
standing with his disciples when he left this earth and
ascended into heaven.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
And when that hit me in that moment, I.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Opened my Bible to Acts chapter one because I wanted
to read the text and imagine what that scene must
have been like myself.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Verse nine says he was taken up.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
As they were watching, and a cloud took him out
of their sight.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
He was going.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
When he was going, they were gazing into heaven, and
suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them. They said,
men of Galilee, Why do you stand looking up into heaven.
This same Jesus who has been taken from you into
heaven will come in the same way that you have
seen him going into heaven.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
As I read that text, here's what I realized.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
In the same way the disciples watched Jesus ascend into
heaven one day, the entire world is going to watch
as Jesus descends from heaven in that exact same spot
you know. In Revelation chapter nineteen. John saw that vision.
He saw that scene play out in the divine vision

(04:00):
from God.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
And this is what he said.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse.
Its writer is called faithful and true and with justice.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
He judges and makes war right away.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
He says, when Jesus comes back, it's going to be
very evident who he is.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
He will be called faithful and true.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Why those words, those words both speak of the character
of Christ.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
He is faithful. Listen, He's a.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
God who not only makes promises, he keeps his promises.
In fact, the Second Corinthians one, it says, for every
one of God's promises is yes, right. He tells the truth,
and he keeps his word. Jesus is faithful.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
But Jesus is also true.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
In fact, when he defined himself, he defined himself as
the truth.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I am the way I am. Thus say it with
me truth. He is the truth, and he will always
be true. So Jesus is faithful. Jesus is true.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
But it goes on to say, and with his justice
he judges. With his justice he makes war.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
What does that mean? That means when Jesus.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Returns, he will no longer represent the meek lamb of God.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
He will then represent the mighty lion of Judah.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
You see, he came the first time to bring peace
to the earth, but the Bible says the second time
he comes, he will come waging war on the earth.
And the Bible says this war will be fought with justice.
This will be a war desired by the savior but
also deserved by the sinner. It'll be the final triumph
of good over evil and God over the devil.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
In fact, when Jesus comes back, he will be just
in every way he can be just.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
He is faithful, he is true, he is just, and
he identifies himself right off the bat. In fact, in
this passage, you're going to see the word name three
different times name. And I find it interesting that as
it described Jesus in talking about these names, how it
gives us a little picture of who he is.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
In fact, in this first name we see mystery. Look
at the verse twelve.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
His eyes were like a fiery flame, and many crowns
were on his head. He had a name written that
no one knows except himself. That tells me that I
can know a lot about Jesus, but I can never
know everything about Jesus. I can know many of the
names of Jesus, but there are some names that I
don't know. It reminds me that the finite cannot fully

(06:33):
comprehend the infinite. There is mystery with Christ. But there's
also in the second name ministry. I want you to
see that. In verse thirteen, it says he wore a
robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the
Word of God. Listen, Jesus is the word, and that
word is a ministry to us. You see, words are

(06:55):
a form of expression or communication, and when you look
at Jesus as the word, but he is the full
expression of God to us as mankind, he tells us
everything we need to know about Christ, about God, about eternity,
about salvation, about forgiveness.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Jesus as the word, is a minister to us.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
And the third name right here I believe represents majesty.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Look at verse sixteen.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
It says he has a name written on his robe
and on his thigh, King of Kings and Lord of lords.
When it says that it was written on his robe,
that speaks of his position.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
You put your position on your robe.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
But when it says that it's written on his thigh,
that was a move of power. It represented the power
of Almighty God. And it says that he is the
King of kings and the Lord of lords. The reality
of his return. Hey, but now let's look at the
result of his return. The result of his return. Get
this picture in your mind. Imagine Jesus ascending into the

(07:57):
clouds and going to heaven in front of the disciple.
But now imagine that reverse scene many years later, where
Jesus descends from heaven to that same.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Spot on the mount of Olives.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
As the world watches the Bible, lets us know that
when that happens, that Jesus will fulfill the prophecy of
Zechariah chapter fourteen, long ago.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
This is what Zechariah said will happen.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It says, on that day his feet will stand on
the Mount of Olives, which face Jerusalem on the east.
The Mount of Olives will be split in half from
east to west, forming a huge valley, so that half
the mountain will move to the north and half to
the south.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Imagine this scene with me today.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
The heavens are going to open up, and Jesus is
going to arrive riding on a white horse, and his
feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, and then
the mountain will split as an earthquake occurs. All of
that is in preparation for King Jesus to have this
one final showdown with the anti Christ, with the false
prophet it and with the greatest army in human history.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
And we're gonna see that scene play out.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
In Revelation nineteen, verse nineteen, he says, then I saw
the Beast, the kings of the Earth, and their armies
gather together to wage war against the rider on the
horse and against his army. So in this moment, there's
a battle that's happening, and the Devil's gonna unleash everything
in his arsenal, including the largest army ever assembled. The

(09:29):
Bible tells us that that army will consist of over
two hundred million soldiers that are trained and prepared to
do battle against Almighty God.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Every time I read that, I just think to myself, how.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Dumb are human beings? Right? How dumb can you be
to think, ohh, me and all my buddies, all two
hundred million of us, and we're gonna face off against
an omnipotent God and we think that we're going to succeed.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I'm like, that is the most ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Thought process I've ever read about. But then I'm reminded
that we right now have that same mindset. So many
times we decide in our day to day lives, like
we're gonna battle against God, or we're gonna fight against
his will, or we're gonna wrestle with the Lord about
being obedient in this area or sacrificing in that area.

(10:14):
There's so many times we try to do battle with
the Lord.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Hey, let me tell you something.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
You ready, God wins one hundred percent of his battles.
God wins one hundred percent of his battles. You don't
stand a chance if you're doing battle against the Lord.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
He's gonna win.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
In fact, not only is he gonna win the battles
of our lives, He's gonna win this final battle that
John speaks of here in Revelation chapter nineteen, a battle
against the anti Christ and the false prophet and all
the evil people in the world. He's gonna show us
in the next couple of verses how this victory is
gonna happen. Now, I'm gonna break this into three different stages.

(10:52):
If you're taking notes today. The first stage is the
enemy will be devoured.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Be devoured. We see that in verse seventeen.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and
he called out in a loud voice, saying to all
the birds flying overhead, come gather together for the Great
Supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh
of kings, the flesh of military commanders, the flesh of
the mighty, the flesh of horses and of their riders,

(11:22):
and the flesh of everyone, both slave and free, small
and great. The Bible says, there's coming a day when
all the birds of the air are going to come together, circling,
and they are going to feast on the carcasses of
those who are defeated.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
By the Lord.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
When you read that, you can't help but think about
what Jesus said in Matthew twenty four. He said, wherever
the carcass is there the vultures will gather.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
And yet here we are at the back of the.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Book, and we see the vultures devouring the enemy.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
So get this.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
In the end, the enemy will be devoured, but not
only devoured, the enemy will also be detained.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
He'll be detained. Check it out.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
In verse twenty.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
It says, but the beast was taken.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had
performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who
accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped
its image with the signs. Both of them were thrown
alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
And so get this.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
You got the birds eaten all the people, and now
you've got this picture of God's justice against evil. Jesus
is going to take the anti Christ who we've talked about.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
He's gonna take the false prophet as.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
We've talked about, and he's going to take both of
them as prisoners. And then these prisoners are going to
be thrown by God alive into the lake of fire.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Now do you know what the lake of fire is?

Speaker 2 (12:57):
That's hell. It's hell. By the way, these are the
first two beings in the Bible to be cast into hell.
This verse reminds us that hell wasn't prepared for sinners.
It was prepared for them. It was prepared for the
devil and his demons and all of his different minions.
It wasn't prepared for us. And yet that's where we'll

(13:18):
go if we don't do business with the Lord. The
Bible says that the enemy will be detained. In fact,
I'll say the enemies will be detained. But the third
thing is the enemy will be destroyed. The enemy will
be destroyed. Verse twenty one says the rest were killed
with a sword that came from the mouth of the
rider on the horse, and all the birds ate their

(13:39):
fill of their flesh.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Let me summarize this for us today. Those who rise
up against the Lord.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Will be destroyed.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Those who rise up against the Lord will be destroyed.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Normally, in war, the general watches the army fight the battle.
The general sits back on the hilly watches the army do.
But not this time listen. When Jesus returns, he as
our general, will fight against the enemies, and Jesus alone
will claim the victory as his army sits back on
the hill and watches King Jesus do what only King

(14:14):
Jesus can do.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
They get this today.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
When Jesus returns, he will be victorious, and his victory
will eliminate all depravity. Hey, I want you to use
your imagination with me today. I want you to try
to imagine a world where all the bad stuff is gone.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Imagine a world where there's.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
No more no more murders, no more robberies, no more rape,
no more crime.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Imagine a world where there's no more lying or stealing.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
It's hard to imagine a world like that, isn't it,
because we live in this jacked up world and we
see the garbage every single day. But imagine a world
where there's no more storms, no more floods, no more
natural disasters or famines of any kind. Imagine a world
where there's no more diseases, no more cancer, no more
mental illnesses, no need for doctors or nurses or medicines

(15:05):
of any kind. Because now we live in a world
where everybody is perfectly and permanently healthy. Can you just
imagine that. Imagine a world where you wake up and
you don't ache, and you don't have to take advil
with your coffee. Imagine a world where there's no more death,
and no more cemeteries, no tombstones or caskets, no funeral
homes at all, no more weeping or wailing over the

(15:28):
loss of a loved one. I mean, just imagine a
world where the lion and the lamb, and the calf
and the wolf are lying down peacefully together, in absolute harmony.
I want you to take a second today in imagine
a world without a devil because the devil has been removed.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Imagine a world with no more.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Evil because the evil one has been pinned up. Imagine
a world with no more temptation at all, because the
tempter has been.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Kicked to the curb.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Can you imagine what that's gonna be like? He said, Jordan,
what you're describing today sounds like an absolute utopia.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
No, it's better than that, y'all. What I'm describing today is.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
The millennial reign of King Jesus, the millennial reign of
Jesus Christ. You see, three thousand years ago, the prophet
Daniel made two predictions. The first prediction was this, that
the king is coming, he told us three thousand years ago,
and Daniel seven thirteen he said, I continued watching in
the night visions, and suddenly one like a son of

(16:34):
man was coming with.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
The clouds of heaven. He said, a king is coming.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
But he went on in the next verse to give
us a second prediction, and that was this not only
as a king coming, but a kingdom is coming. In
verse fourteen, he was given dominion and glory and a
kingdom so that those of every people, nation, and language
should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that

(17:00):
will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that
will not be destroyed. Now, there are a lot of
interpretations of what Daniel is talking about here, but I
believe this speaks of a literal kingdom with Jesus Christ
serving as the literal king. When Jesus returns, I believe
this says that he will establish his millennial kingdom, where

(17:24):
he will rule and where he will reign for a
thousand years.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Chapter twenty gives us a.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Vivid description and depiction of what that's going to look like.
At every single stage of these thousand years. Today, I'm
going to outline it by giving you four different things
from chapter twenty. And the very first thing you see
in chapter twenty is that Satan will be removed. But
you know what, there's never going to be a day

(17:50):
where my soul is removed from my God. Because of
my second birth, I will never die a second time
Verse six. And Holy is the one who shares in
the first resurrection.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
The second death.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Has no power over them, but they will be priest
of God and of Christ, and they will reign with
him for a thousand years. The Bible says Satan will
be removed, the saints will reign, and the third part
of this is that Satan will be released.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Satan will be released.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Verse three says after that after he has thrown into
the abyss and held for a thousand years, after that
he must be released for a short time. I don't
understand it, but the Bible says, at the end of
the millennial reign of Christ, there's gonna be this one
final confrontation between sinners and the Savior, one final.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Battle between good and evil.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
One Peter five eight tells us your adversary, the devil
is prowling around like a roaring lion.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Looking for anyone he can devour.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
And yet for a thousand years, that lion is gonna
be cap in solitary confinement. But then the Bible says,
all of a sudden, the doors to his cage are
going to be open, and the devil's going to leap
out with a singular mission of deceiving.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
The nations one more time.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
You say, Jordan, why in the world would God choose
to release the devil one more time? Why would he
let him out of that cage after pinning him up
for a thousand years?

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Have you ever wondered that? Hey, let me give you
the answer in five simple words. You're ready. I ain't
got a.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Clue, that's the answer. I have no idea. Man, I've
read this. I've said, I'm like, why in the world
would God choose to release the devil one more time?
And yet I'm reminded in Deuteronomy twenty nine that the
hidden things belong to the Lord, our God. I just
think that's one of the things that we will never
know the answer to. But released he will be at

(19:49):
the conclusion of the millennial reign, and verse eight tells us.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
That he will go out.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
To deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth,
Gog and Magog to gather them for battle.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Their number is like the sand of the sea.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
They came up across the breadth of the earth and
surrounded the encampment of the Saints, the beloved City. It's
crazy to me that after a thousand years, the devil
immediately picks right back up where he left off, and
he starts running the same place that he's always run.
And the Bible tells us he will deceive the nations

(20:28):
and mankind will fall for his same tricks all over again.
It says that their number, the number of people aligning
with the devil, will be like the sand on the
on the beach.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Listen, for a thousand years, everyone will obey the Lord.
Think about that.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
They will obey the Lord because they have to.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
There won't be an evil option because all sources of
evil will be locked up. But then what happens next?
He really is the devil, and now all of a sudden,
evil becomes an option for people again. And how do
they respond once the devil is released? The Bible says
people choose to align with the Devil. People who were

(21:12):
born and raised in a perfect world, people that were
serving a perfect God and experiencing nothing short of perfection,
are still gonna choose to settle for less than him.
They're gonna choose to partner with people in the world.
They're gonna choose to turn their backs on Jesus. They're
gonna choose to wage war against Almighty God.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
And here they are.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
They're lining up, shoulder to shoulder, lining up with all
the evil in the world, and they are waging war
against him. But you know what, the Bible says. The
war is gonna be over before the first shot is shot.
And you know what's gonna happen next. The Savior is
gonna get his revenge. How's this going to play out?

(21:56):
Two different things I want you to see in these
final texts. The Devil's army will finally be defeated. After
all that, the Devil's army will be defeated. Verse nine says,
then fire came down from heaven and consumed them, not
a single shot, but in an instant.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
The judgment of God will.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Be experienced by every member of the Devil's demonic army,
and they will be incinerated.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
By the blow torch of God's breath. Did you see it?

Speaker 2 (22:24):
He said, It will completely consume every evil person that
aligns with the devil. But not only will the devil's
army be defeated. Here's the best part of the message.
The devil will finally be destroyed. Hallelujah, somebody scream right,
come home. That's the biggest part of the whole thing.
Verse nine or verse ten. The devil who deceived them

(22:47):
was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where
the Beast and the false Prophet are, and they will
be tormented day.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
And night forever and ever.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
I'm like, finally, finally, this is the moment we've all
been waiting for, where once and for all, the devil
gets his due, and that lake of fire and that
burning hell that was prepared by God for the devil
and his angels will finally become his eternal home, where
he will be tormented alongside the Beast and the false prophet,

(23:20):
and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The verdict was rendered for the devil two thousand years
ago on the cross at Calvary, but the sentence is
yet to be executed.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
But you know what the Bible says.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
The Bible says that day is coming and the devil
will finally be destroyed. Let me just tell you something.
The same Jesus that had victory over sin and the grave,
the same Jesus that we just read about that's waving
the flag of victory at the end of the day,
is the same Jesus who makes himself available to you

(24:00):
so that you can experience victory today. You can know
him and be a part of that first resurrection. You
can surrender your life to him and be saved and forgiven.
Jesus can change your life today.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
The question is.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Will you let him? Would you bow your heads and
close your eyes listen, you may be here today's saying, Pastor,
I don't want to be a part of the second death.
I want to be born a second time so I
only have to die once. I don't want my soul
to be removed from God. I want to live with
him forever. If that's you today, would you just pray
a prayer of salvation and ask Jesus to do what

(24:36):
only he can do. Say, Jesus, I know that I
need you to be saved. I can't save myself. You
know the state of my heart, and you know the
sin and my past, and today I surrender that old
life to you, and I ask you to make me
brand new. Forgive me and my sins, save me, and
make me the.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Person you created me to be. I want to be
a son or a daughter of.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
King Jesus, and I want the victory that you had
on the cross to apply to my life today. Thank
you for chasing me until this moment in my life
because I give you everything I have to give, and
I trust you as my Lord and savior, and I
want my life to make a difference for you, starting
right now until the day I die.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
In Jesus name, I pray Amen.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
I have a deep passion for exploring the Holy Land.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
