all right, guys, I'm really really excited to be with
you for our second episode today. Today we're going to
be talking about something very very powerful, something that kind
of launched my ministry to another caliber, and it's the
topic of deliverance. Now, we'll have many episodes talking about demons, deliverance,
(01:18):
casting out demons principalities. I'll even do some teaching on
demons and deliverance. But I really want to kind of
just dive right in you've heard a little bit of
my story of how God thrusted me into the supernatural,
and I want to talk to you just about the
general world of the demonic. Before I do that, I
(01:39):
want you to do this right here. I want you
to firstly, yes, I want you to first know that
I am the aposolic leader of nova Hub Church. I'll
try to get through all the preliminaries, right. I want
you to know I currently reside in know the Virginia
where I lead Novahub Church. I travel around the world
preaching the Gospel, releasing the Kingdom, the Word of the Lord,

and equipping believers to move into supernatural. And I write books.
So I already told you to subscribe. Let's jump right
into it, all right. I want to tell you firstly
about my first encounter cast well, seeing a demon manifest
and this was in a person, So this is years ago.
I was in a church in Sterling, Virginia. Now, my
(02:23):
grandmother's name is a woman by the name of Linda Strickland,
Apostle Linda Strickland. She is the one who gave me
my introduction to being filled with the holy ghosts. Many
of you heard my story in my last episode of
how I was filled with the Holy Spirit in her
car and filled again that Sunday crazy story.

My recent my first episode, and then the second episode
will make sense. Okay, So my grandmother we were in
a service. Now, my grandmother, she had a spiritual father
who's gone home to be with the Lord.

His name is Apostle s mcay, now Apostle McKenny. He
was a bona fide prophet, I mean one of those
scary prophets, the kind of prophet that would tell you
what you ate before you came to service. Like one
of those kinds. He carried a strong manifestation the fear
of the Lord, and when he came into the room

he would crack jokes. Then he would turn am out
of a prophets sigh, and everybody be scared because how
in the world did this man know this about us?

Right?
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So, Apostle McKenny was preaching in town and my grandmother
wanted to go see him because obviously that's her covering,
and so he was within forty minutes of us. So
we drove up the road, my dad.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
My family, my.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Grandmother's church family, and we went to go see him preach,
and he was preaching for one of my grandmother's close friends.
And in the middle of the service, Apostle McKenny lays
hands on several people at one time. The glory got
really drops and he just starts laying hands on people,
and it was a very powerful moment.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I'll never forget it. I was probably like around.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Seven or eight years old, possibly can't really recall like
seven or eight years old. A lot happened in that
timeframe for me. I want to say seven to ten,
somewhere around there. And this woman falls on the ground
and she just stays there like a lot of other
people will look around because they were slain in the
Holy spirit. Now the woman begins to shake, she stops,

she shakes, and she stops. And in church I had
never seen anything like that before. I had seen people
shaking under the power of God, but never shaking and stopping,
shaking and stopping.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
So then.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I'd go to my grandmother and I whisper in her
ear from behind her in the second row, and I said, Grandma,
something's not right with that woman. Something's wrong with her.
And my grandmother, you know, being a little wisdom. She says,
I know, go take a seat and pray. So I go,
and I sit down.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
In a.

Corner in the church. Well, I go back and sit
like in the third row. And I watched my grandmother
go and begin to lay hands on the woman washes
on the floor, and Apostle McKinney's wife, first Lady McKinny,
goes and begins to lay hands on her along with
the host pastor. Now Apostle McKinney was busy prophesying to
somebody else he had moved on, and they knew it
(05:26):
was a demon. So the demon begins to manifest and
I'll never forget. The woman opens her eyes, looks directly
at my grandmother and yells no. In the guys, listen,
the deepest voice I have ever heard in my entire
(05:48):
life come out of a woman. It should be illegal
for a woman to make a sound that deep, you
know what I mean. And so the woman begins to manifest,
and the demons begin to cry out no and began
to screech. Before I could really get a grip of
(06:08):
what was happening, the woman begins to levitate off the ground,
and essentially my grandmother sat on a woman, brought her
back to the ground, and they proceeded to cast the
devil out of the woman. And it was one of
the most beautiful exchanges where I saw God use three
older women who loved the Lord, who were unafraid to
(06:29):
back down from a demonic entity. And from that point forward,
my curiosity was sparked. I was interested.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Was I scared?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Absolutely, You couldn't get me to go near someone manifesting
to save my life. But God used that moment to
introduce me to the demonic, which ultimately would be one
of the greatest components of my ministry, which is to
cast the devil out. So moving forward, I'm in high
(07:04):
school and I am beginning to minister. Around junior year,
I really caught on fire for the Lord again and
I begin to, like many of you know my story.
And one day we're sitting in our oceanography classroom after
school for the Christian Club, and we're praying for this
(07:26):
young African woman, sweet girl, and we're praying for her,
and she immediately begins to manifest. She shakes, she screams,
she does all of these you know, crazy manifestations, and
we all knew this is a demon. Now, This was
many of our my friends at the time, first time
(07:48):
being alone, none of our my grandmother wasn't there.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
No bishop, no apostle, no profit.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Just a bunch of teenagers, about three or four teenager
guys that love the Lord, all of us who had
earth shattering calls in our life, but we barely knew it.
We just were going out the revival. And here it is,
this demon manifesting in the room, yelling at us no.
And we begin to command the spirit to come out
(08:16):
of the young lady, and the girl begins to flop
across the floor like a fish, so we had to
hold her down.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
We begin to cast the demon out.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
It got so aggressive that our oceanography teacher, who was
supposed to be watching the class, who was not even
a believer, runs out of the room out of intimidation.
She was actually an atheist or an agnostic. And listen,
she saw something supernatural that made her get it out
of there. And we're casting the devil out, and again,
(08:47):
such a beautiful exchange of what it was like to
cast the demon out. Now I want to get into
some teaching about what deliverance actually is. The Bible tells
us this for this reason the Son of God was
made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. So
(09:07):
the reason why Jesus came onto the sea, why he
came to the virgin birth, the virgin birth, the immaculate conception,
The reason why Jesus walked the planet and died on
the cross for our sins was to destroy Satan's works.
And part of Satan's works is bondage. Now one of
(09:29):
the things about me, Now, I'm gonna make a people mad.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this. Firstly, Christians can
have a demon some people. Christians can have whatever they want. Listen,
I've casted more demons out of Christians than I have
people who were non believers. Now, have I cast the devil?
A lot of people who were not believers? Absolutely, But
(09:51):
what did I do after I cast the devil out
of them? I led them to the Lord Jesus. But
I've casted out more demons out of believers that I
have non believers. And actually, ninety percent of the time,
if an unbeliever comes to me who is not decided
about Jesus yet and ask me to cast out a devil,
(10:15):
I won't do it. The reason why is the Bible
speaks about this. Jesus warns us and he says, when
an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it goes
through dry places searching for a new home, and when
it cannot find a new house, it says, I will
return back to my old residence, and I will bring
(10:36):
seven demons worse and more wicked than myself, and the
state of that person becomes worse than what they were before.
This is the danger of performing deliverance on people who
you are not sure are going to be convinced of
serving Jesus after they've been set free. You understand, when
(11:01):
a person is set free from a demonic spirit and
they go back into a lifestyle of sin, if they
go back into a lifestyle of unholiness, if they don't
commit their way in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Bible says that that demon will come in finding
the house swept clean. So, in other words, if that
(11:23):
spirit occupied a space in that person's life, that space
in their soul, that space in their heart, that space
in their mind, must now be occupied by a new resident,
and that is the person of the holy ghost. I
want to deal with something because some of you may
(11:43):
be wondering in your theology, well, Jordan, how can a
demon and the Holy Spirit live in the same house.
I can tell you it's actually very easy. Firstly, we
see in the Book of Job that Lucifer or Satan
appears before God along with the sons of God, and
(12:06):
God and Satan had a cordial conversation while in the
Book of Job. So we can't say that God in
Satan can't be in the same place at the same time.
In the Book of Job, they had a conversation. Now
to understand how can a demon and the Holy Spirit
(12:27):
be living inside of a believer at the same time
or an individual at the same time, we must understand
that demons reside in a different place from your spirit.
Once again, demons reside in a different place than your spirit.
For an understand demons they live in the soul or
(12:50):
in the body. Now, when you are Satan, you are
filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
They come and make the abode in your spirit, and
you are translated. Your spirit is transformed, belongs completely to God.
You are now born of an incorruptible seed, the Bible says.
But the Bible also says that we must work out
your soul salvation with what fear and trembling. So understand,
(13:17):
your spirit has been saved and it can be and
is not touched by demons if you are a believer,
if you're giving your life to Jesus. But when you
are saved, it does not mean the residence of your
flesh and the residence of your soul are immediately kicked out.
May I submit to you that deliverance and the expelling
(13:38):
of demons hear me, is a manifestation of your soul's salvation. Understand,
we are going undergoing three levels of salvation right now.
According to theology, we have justification, which is what happens
when you give your life to Jesus. Then you have sanctification,
(13:59):
then you have glorification. Justification is the salvation of your spirit.
Sanctification is the salvation of your soul, and glorification is
the salvation of your body. The Bible says that in
the last days we shall meet him in the area
in the moment we shall be glorified, we shall be transformed,
(14:22):
be transfigured. In other words, we will receive a glorified body.
That's glorification. We're not there yet and we are currently
walking through sanctification, so the Holy Spirit is currently finding
different places in our souls. What is our soul? Our
soul is comprised of our mind, our will, and our emotions.
(14:47):
So you may be filled with the Holy Spirit and
speaking tongues, but you may have a demon of lust
than your will. And this is why you are able
to dance and shout and feel the presence of God
and even be used by God. But possibly you may
have a lust issue where you can't stop masturbating at night,
(15:07):
you can't stop looking at pornography. And yes, it could
be a self control issue, or it could be something
hiding in your will influencing your will to disobey the
will of God. So your will is currently being conformed
to the will of God, and in the process of
(15:29):
its conforming, there may be a demon hiding in your will.
You may have a demon hiding in your mind. You
are full of love and joy, but something happens in
your mind that makes you angry or your anger becomes uncontrollable.
Could it be that, yes, you could develop a greater
(15:53):
fruit of the spirit of self control, But could it
also be that there is a demonic spirit of anger?
Living and harboring a certain trigger in your mind that
will manifest at certain times. And so one of the
things that I've always wanted to teach people is no
(16:14):
matter how annointed you are, you still could possibly be
harboring an unclean spirit. Understand the great the greatest analogy
that I can give you is the analogy of a
trap house.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
On one of the things you can understand about trap house.
And if you don't know what a trap house is,
I'll explain to your trap house.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
A trap house is a place where you go to
do drugs. You hear loud, obnoxious ghetto music, pimps, prostitutes, potheads,
drug dealers, all the works, usually in a trap house.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Excuse me, So a.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Trap house carry all of this illegal activity. But my
question to you is what if the trap house got repossessed?
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Excuse me? What if the.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Owner of the trap house forgot to pay the mortgage
over and over again, the trap house would become repossessed.
This is what has happened to you that are in Christ.
Satan could not afford you. You were so valuable that
(17:34):
Satan could not afford your mortgage. Glory to God. And
now you've been repossessed by Jesus. You are under the
ownership of Jesus Christ. But can I tell you something.
When a trap house becomes repossessed, does it immediately get
rid of the pimps, the prostitutes, the drug addicts, the
(17:57):
drug dealers, the wickedness in the trap house.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Now a representative of the bank or of the law
must come into the trap house and drive the illegal
residence out. That's that, my friend, is what deliverance is.
You have been repossessed by Jesus, and sometimes now a
(18:28):
representative of the law of the Kingdom of God has
now got to come in and remove forcibly the things
that have been in your bloodline, the things that have
been in your heart, your mind, your soul, your body
for years that feel as if they have a right
(18:49):
to be there because they've been there for so long. This,
my friend, is the power of deliverance. The Bible tells
us that wherever the finger of God is, if I
drive out a demon by the finger of God, Jesus says,
the Kingdom of God is among youth. One of the
(19:10):
ultimate signs that God's Kingdom is present in any environment
is when deliverance takes place, and demons are displaced. The
Kingdom of God is a militant kingdom. You know, God's
Kingdom is not this what we've made it out to be,
(19:31):
this weak, passive tree hugging Jesus kingdom where we just
love on each other and kumbay yah. But the Bible says,
since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom suffers
or allows violence, and the violent take it by force.
God's Kingdom is a militant kingdom, and it's a kingdom
(19:52):
of invasion. God's Kingdom is not a kingdom of negotiation.
It's a kingdom of takeover, kingdom that displaces demonic powers.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
You understand what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
So now that we understand that, we have just understand
the Kingdom of God is manifested.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
When deliverance takes.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Place, Jesus said, it is the finger of God. Now,
the finger of God. It shows up three times in scriptures.
It shows up when Jesus is accused of casting out
demons by beyels above. They said, he drives out devils
by beels above, And Jesus said, no, it's the finger
of God. I drive out a demon. And now the
finger of God shows up. Two more times of scriptures,
(20:35):
both in the days of Moses, one time in Exodus,
one time in Deuteronomy. The first time it shows up
is is when Moses is releasing the judgments of God
against Egypt to convince Pharaoh to let God's people go,
and something very interesting takes place. Moses strikes the dust
of the earth in one of the plagues that hit Egypt,
(20:58):
and the dust of the earth turns into gnats. And
the Bible says, there were gnats on beast, gnats on animals,
on people, gnats everywhere. And the sorcerers attempted to imitate
this miracle or this judgment, and they couldn't because it
was copyrighted by the Spirit if you will, yeah, And
(21:19):
they say to Pharaoh, we cannot do this.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
This is nothing but the finger of God. Put a
finger right there.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Now, let's move forward. Took the book of Deuteronomy. The
Bible says that Moses is up on that horrib and
God takes his finger and writes out a law on
stone tablets and gives it to Moses.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
So we said the finger of God twice with Moses.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
One when God was delivering the children of Israel out
of Egypt and two a law to give them once
they were out of Israel. So this shows me that
deliverance or the finger of God has two applications. It
has a supernatural and it has a practical manifestation. Once again,
(22:16):
hear me, beloved, it has a supernatural application and it
has a practical application. The first being supernatural. That's when
we lay hands on you, or we command the devil
to come out of you, or we just break a curse,
break a yoke, break a soul tie, break a excuse.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Me, I'm just getting over the flu, guys.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
But break whatever the enemy has uh placed on your
life off of you. Then, Bible says he wrote with
his finger into stone tablets. In other words, once I
set you free from this, there is a law. There
is a way of life that I expecting of you.

There is something that's gonna set you free. But then
something that's going to keep you free. The supernatural element
of deliverance sets you free, but the practical element of
deliverance keeps you free. What am I talking about. I'm
talking about the tablets of your heart. The Bible says
(23:26):
God has written upon the tablets of our heart. There
is a new law written upon the tablets of our heart.
And God has written a law on every person's heart.
And this obeying the law that God has written upon
your heart. The tablets of your heart, hear me, is
gonna be what keeps you free. It's gonna be what
(23:48):
keeps you free. So, in other words, what is the
tablet of your heart saying? What is God saying? You
can't go back to?

What is God saying? You can listen?

If you were dealing with fornication, looks like give me
the break up with your boyfriend a girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
I said it. I said it.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
You sitting in your car wondering if you should break
up with her. I'm talking to you, brouh. You don't
even want to marry her. Some of you you don't
even want to marry her. You just you just like
the relationship and not being lonely and the sexual gratification.
(24:30):
But God wants to break lust off of you. But
you can't go back to a woman that is so
willing to give you whatever you want. You and a wife,
not someone who temporarily satisfies you, or possibly you can't
look at Instagram late at night. God will write a
(24:50):
lump on your heart if God wants to deliver you
from addiction, you have no business going back to a bar.
You have no business going to a club. You have
no business going to a where people are drinking. Because
God's writing a new law upon the tablets of your heart.
And so let God set you free today and then
(25:13):
hear me, then I want you to live bout the
tablet of your heart. Let God lead you. And can
I tell you something. God does not lead you into temptation.
God does not tempt So if you are in a
situation where you're tempted to go into the same patterns
(25:34):
and habits that you were going into before, it's not
the Holy Spirit leading you. The Bible says them that
are led by many of them that are led by
the spirit, they are the sons of God. So when
you receive the spirit of adoption and receive it, receives
some ship, you are able to be led by the
Spirit of God and he won't lead you into demonic
(25:56):
activity for your life. Aright and amen. So this has
been my introduction to talking about demons and deliverance. Listen, guys,
Deliverance is uh indicated to us by the Scripture by
being the children's bread. So in other words, it belongs
(26:18):
to those who already belong to God. So listen, you
need to be delivered, You need to be set free.
Some of you've had night terrors, nightmares over and over again.
You're addicted to weed, You're addicted to pornography, You're addicted
to sex, You're addicted to lying. You you, you have
this anger thing you can't get rid of. You were
(26:38):
once involved in the witchcraft. I'm telling you, every person
that used to be involved in witchcraft. When you got saved,
you need demons cast out of you.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You burned sage, you you you you you.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Wear in your little crystals and all all palm readings
and all that that that that horrible stuff. That stuff
is attached to the occult and the demonic. And closing

I want to lead those of you that are that
are listening to me. I want to lead you through
some renunciations. Now, if you are listening to me and
you're driving, I would encourage you to pull the car
over because something might come out of you. If you

use to h cough up in understand, the word spirit
in the Hebrew is the word ruah, which means breath.
Numa means breath and wind as well. So sometimes demons
that come out in your breathing. So as we begin
to pray, and as I lead you these renunciations, you

might start yawning, you might start belching, you might start coughing,
you might.

Start throwing up. Just have something to throw up in.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
If you have, if you, if you, if you can,
grab a bag, grab something, Okay, And this is what
I want you to do. I want you to repeat
after me, all right, Father, in the name of Jesus,
I repent and turn away from all sin known and
(28:15):
unknown in my life. I renounce and break my partnership
with sin and wickedness in my life. I asked that
you would forgive me and wash me in the blood
of Jesus. Jesus, you are my deliverer, the one who
sets me free. Your word says that whoever calls on
(28:39):
the name of the Lord shall be delivered. So I
call on your name, Jesus and ask that you would
deliver me in the following areas from the powers of darkness.
Deliver my mind from all p rssian and demonic influence.
(29:03):
Deliver my body from all attack and control from the
devil Satan. You are a liar. You are the father
of lies. The blood of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Is against you.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
I break my partnership with you and your kingdom. Jesus
died that I would be made free. I renounce your
works in my life, in my bloodline, in my mind,
in my heart, in my history, in my future, in
(29:45):
my body. And your authority is broken in me, around me,
above me, in the name of Jesus, repeat at the mista,
your power is shattered and brought to ruins in my life.
(30:08):
Holy Spirit, May your fire burn. Let's say that again,
Holy Spirit. May your fire burn one more time. Holy Spirit,
May your fire burn in me, on me, around me,
(30:29):
purge me with your anointing. You have full permission to
stretch out in me. Turn the light of God on
in me until all darkness is exposed and eradicated. Holy Spirit,
sanctify me, make me like Jesus in every way. I
(30:54):
declare that today is my day of freedom. In Jesus' name.
Now just begin to call upon the name of Jesus
a few toms. Just say Jesus a few times, because
the Bible says whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be delivered. Just call his name Jesus, Jesus.
(31:17):
And as you just say, Jesus, I'm gonna pray. Father,
I apply the blood of Jesus to this individual watching
and listening to me right now. I call forth the
fire of God to begin to burn everything in them
that is not like you, Holy Ghost, release your fire now.
(31:38):
I call forth angels to assist me for the extracting
of demonic spirits. In the name of Jesus, I bind
and stop all demonic activity in their life now in
Jesus's name, All torment, all dreams, all activity cease. I
rebuke you. Now, in the name of Jesus, I break
(32:00):
all demonic contracts, evenance, and legalities over the individual listening
to me right now. And I call forth the Kingdom
of God on the inside of them. Holy Ghost, Jesus Abbah,
drive your finger through that car, through that living room,
through wherever they are listening now, and I instruct demons
(32:24):
that you will respond to my voice when I say
these words, come out, and you will expeditiously vacate their
lives and never return what I call you according to
your species, your class, your fruit, or your work. You
will vacate immediately in the name of Jesus. Now, to
those of you who are listening to me, all I
want you to do is breathe and receive. Don't pray
(32:46):
in tongues, just breathe and receive.

Are you ready? Today is your day?
Speaker 1 (32:50):
In the name of Jesus, I speak to every spirit
of depression, every spirit of anxiety, in the name of Jesus,
come out, Go in Jesus' names of oppression, come out,
spirits of fear and terror.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
In the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I command you come out, spirits of bitterness and unforgiveness.
Bitterness towards your mother, bitterness towards your father, bitterness towards
your siblings, bitterness towards teachers and coworkers and friends and
cousins and anyone. Unforgiveness and bitterness. I command you, by
the authority of the name of Jesus, come out.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Go now. In Jesus' name we.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Speak against hatred, spirits of hatred and jealousy and envy
and hurt. We command you come out now. Go Go go, Go, go,
We speak to the entirety of the spirit of fear.
For God has not given this individual the spirit of fear,
but that of power, love and a sound mind. Therefore, fear,
we lastle you with the perfect love of God, and
(33:50):
we drive you out now in the name of Jesus.
Fear come out. Fear of the future, fear of family,
fear of the call of God, fear of moving far
forward in the name of Jesus, fear of loneliness, fear
of abandonment, fear of rejection. Kik tarrabakata kondo, in the
(34:11):
name of Jesus, fear come out, Go go, go, Go,
go go. We speak now to the entire kingdom of
sexual immorality. We command the spirit of lust come out.
Spirit of perversion come out. Spirits of masturbation and pornography
come out, Spirits of sodomy and fetishists.

Come out.

you for our second episode today. Today we're going to
be talking about something very very powerful, something that kind
of launched my ministry to another caliber, and it's the
topic of deliverance. Now, we'll have many episodes talking about demons, deliverance,
(01:18):
casting out demons principalities. I'll even do some teaching on
demons and deliverance. But I really want to kind of
just dive right in you've heard a little bit of
my story of how God thrusted me into the supernatural,
and I want to talk to you just about the
general world of the demonic. Before I do that, I
(01:39):
want you to do this right here. I want you
to firstly, yes, I want you to first know that
I am the aposolic leader of nova Hub Church. I'll
try to get through all the preliminaries, right. I want
you to know I currently reside in know the Virginia
where I lead Novahub Church. I travel around the world
preaching the Gospel, releasing the Kingdom, the Word of the Lord,

and equipping believers to move into supernatural. And I write books.
So I already told you to subscribe. Let's jump right
into it, all right. I want to tell you firstly
about my first encounter cast well, seeing a demon manifest
and this was in a person, So this is years ago.
I was in a church in Sterling, Virginia. Now, my
(02:23):
grandmother's name is a woman by the name of Linda Strickland,
Apostle Linda Strickland. She is the one who gave me
my introduction to being filled with the holy ghosts. Many
of you heard my story in my last episode of
how I was filled with the Holy Spirit in her
car and filled again that Sunday crazy story.
Speaker 2 (02:42):

My recent my first episode, and then the second episode
will make sense. Okay, So my grandmother we were in
a service. Now, my grandmother, she had a spiritual father
who's gone home to be with the Lord.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Now.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
His name is Apostle s mcay, now Apostle McKenny. He
was a bona fide prophet, I mean one of those
scary prophets, the kind of prophet that would tell you
what you ate before you came to service. Like one
of those kinds. He carried a strong manifestation the fear
of the Lord, and when he came into the room
(03:18):
he would crack jokes. Then he would turn am out
of a prophets sigh, and everybody be scared because how
in the world did this man know this about us?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Right?
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So, Apostle McKenny was preaching in town and my grandmother
wanted to go see him because obviously that's her covering,
and so he was within forty minutes of us. So
we drove up the road, my dad.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
My family, my.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Grandmother's church family, and we went to go see him preach,
and he was preaching for one of my grandmother's close friends.
And in the middle of the service, Apostle McKenny lays
hands on several people at one time. The glory got
really drops and he just starts laying hands on people,
and it was a very powerful moment.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I'll never forget it. I was probably like around.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Seven or eight years old, possibly can't really recall like
seven or eight years old. A lot happened in that
timeframe for me. I want to say seven to ten,
somewhere around there. And this woman falls on the ground
and she just stays there like a lot of other
people will look around because they were slain in the
Holy spirit. Now the woman begins to shake, she stops,
(04:25):
she shakes, and she stops. And in church I had
never seen anything like that before. I had seen people
shaking under the power of God, but never shaking and stopping,
shaking and stopping.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
So then.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I'd go to my grandmother and I whisper in her
ear from behind her in the second row, and I said, Grandma,
something's not right with that woman. Something's wrong with her.
And my grandmother, you know, being a little wisdom. She says,
I know, go take a seat and pray. So I go,
and I sit down.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
In a.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Corner in the church. Well, I go back and sit
like in the third row. And I watched my grandmother
go and begin to lay hands on the woman washes
on the floor, and Apostle McKinney's wife, first Lady McKinny,
goes and begins to lay hands on her along with
the host pastor. Now Apostle McKinney was busy prophesying to
somebody else he had moved on, and they knew it
(05:26):
was a demon. So the demon begins to manifest and
I'll never forget. The woman opens her eyes, looks directly
at my grandmother and yells no. In the guys, listen,
the deepest voice I have ever heard in my entire
(05:48):
life come out of a woman. It should be illegal
for a woman to make a sound that deep, you
know what I mean. And so the woman begins to manifest,
and the demons begin to cry out no and began
to screech. Before I could really get a grip of
(06:08):
what was happening, the woman begins to levitate off the ground,
and essentially my grandmother sat on a woman, brought her
back to the ground, and they proceeded to cast the
devil out of the woman. And it was one of
the most beautiful exchanges where I saw God use three
older women who loved the Lord, who were unafraid to
(06:29):
back down from a demonic entity. And from that point forward,
my curiosity was sparked. I was interested.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Was I scared?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Absolutely, You couldn't get me to go near someone manifesting
to save my life. But God used that moment to
introduce me to the demonic, which ultimately would be one
of the greatest components of my ministry, which is to
cast the devil out. So moving forward, I'm in high
(07:04):
school and I am beginning to minister. Around junior year,
I really caught on fire for the Lord again and
I begin to, like many of you know my story.
And one day we're sitting in our oceanography classroom after
school for the Christian Club, and we're praying for this
(07:26):
young African woman, sweet girl, and we're praying for her,
and she immediately begins to manifest. She shakes, she screams,
she does all of these you know, crazy manifestations, and
we all knew this is a demon. Now, This was
many of our my friends at the time, first time
(07:48):
being alone, none of our my grandmother wasn't there.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
No bishop, no apostle, no profit.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Just a bunch of teenagers, about three or four teenager
guys that love the Lord, all of us who had
earth shattering calls in our life, but we barely knew it.
We just were going out the revival. And here it is,
this demon manifesting in the room, yelling at us no.
And we begin to command the spirit to come out
(08:16):
of the young lady, and the girl begins to flop
across the floor like a fish, so we had to
hold her down.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
We begin to cast the demon out.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
It got so aggressive that our oceanography teacher, who was
supposed to be watching the class, who was not even
a believer, runs out of the room out of intimidation.
She was actually an atheist or an agnostic. And listen,
she saw something supernatural that made her get it out
of there. And we're casting the devil out, and again,
(08:47):
such a beautiful exchange of what it was like to
cast the demon out. Now I want to get into
some teaching about what deliverance actually is. The Bible tells
us this for this reason the Son of God was
made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. So
(09:07):
the reason why Jesus came onto the sea, why he
came to the virgin birth, the virgin birth, the immaculate conception,
The reason why Jesus walked the planet and died on
the cross for our sins was to destroy Satan's works.
And part of Satan's works is bondage. Now one of
(09:29):
the things about me, Now, I'm gonna make a people mad.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this. Firstly, Christians can
have a demon some people. Christians can have whatever they want. Listen,
I've casted more demons out of Christians than I have
people who were non believers. Now, have I cast the devil?
A lot of people who were not believers? Absolutely, But
(09:51):
what did I do after I cast the devil out
of them? I led them to the Lord Jesus. But
I've casted out more demons out of believers that I
have non believers. And actually, ninety percent of the time,
if an unbeliever comes to me who is not decided
about Jesus yet and ask me to cast out a devil,
(10:15):
I won't do it. The reason why is the Bible
speaks about this. Jesus warns us and he says, when
an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it goes
through dry places searching for a new home, and when
it cannot find a new house, it says, I will
return back to my old residence, and I will bring
(10:36):
seven demons worse and more wicked than myself, and the
state of that person becomes worse than what they were before.
This is the danger of performing deliverance on people who
you are not sure are going to be convinced of
serving Jesus after they've been set free. You understand, when
(11:01):
a person is set free from a demonic spirit and
they go back into a lifestyle of sin, if they
go back into a lifestyle of unholiness, if they don't
commit their way in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Bible says that that demon will come in finding
the house swept clean. So, in other words, if that
(11:23):
spirit occupied a space in that person's life, that space
in their soul, that space in their heart, that space
in their mind, must now be occupied by a new resident,
and that is the person of the holy ghost. I
want to deal with something because some of you may
(11:43):
be wondering in your theology, well, Jordan, how can a
demon and the Holy Spirit live in the same house.
I can tell you it's actually very easy. Firstly, we
see in the Book of Job that Lucifer or Satan
appears before God along with the sons of God, and
(12:06):
God and Satan had a cordial conversation while in the
Book of Job. So we can't say that God in
Satan can't be in the same place at the same time.
In the Book of Job, they had a conversation. Now
to understand how can a demon and the Holy Spirit
(12:27):
be living inside of a believer at the same time
or an individual at the same time, we must understand
that demons reside in a different place from your spirit.
Once again, demons reside in a different place than your spirit.
For an understand demons they live in the soul or
(12:50):
in the body. Now, when you are Satan, you are
filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
They come and make the abode in your spirit, and
you are translated. Your spirit is transformed, belongs completely to God.
You are now born of an incorruptible seed, the Bible says.
But the Bible also says that we must work out
your soul salvation with what fear and trembling. So understand,
(13:17):
your spirit has been saved and it can be and
is not touched by demons if you are a believer,
if you're giving your life to Jesus. But when you
are saved, it does not mean the residence of your
flesh and the residence of your soul are immediately kicked out.
May I submit to you that deliverance and the expelling
(13:38):
of demons hear me, is a manifestation of your soul's salvation. Understand,
we are going undergoing three levels of salvation right now.
According to theology, we have justification, which is what happens
when you give your life to Jesus. Then you have sanctification,
(13:59):
then you have glorification. Justification is the salvation of your spirit.
Sanctification is the salvation of your soul, and glorification is
the salvation of your body. The Bible says that in
the last days we shall meet him in the area
in the moment we shall be glorified, we shall be transformed,
(14:22):
be transfigured. In other words, we will receive a glorified body.
That's glorification. We're not there yet and we are currently
walking through sanctification, so the Holy Spirit is currently finding
different places in our souls. What is our soul? Our
soul is comprised of our mind, our will, and our emotions.
(14:47):
So you may be filled with the Holy Spirit and
speaking tongues, but you may have a demon of lust
than your will. And this is why you are able
to dance and shout and feel the presence of God
and even be used by God. But possibly you may
have a lust issue where you can't stop masturbating at night,
(15:07):
you can't stop looking at pornography. And yes, it could
be a self control issue, or it could be something
hiding in your will influencing your will to disobey the
will of God. So your will is currently being conformed
to the will of God, and in the process of
(15:29):
its conforming, there may be a demon hiding in your will.
You may have a demon hiding in your mind. You
are full of love and joy, but something happens in
your mind that makes you angry or your anger becomes uncontrollable.
Could it be that, yes, you could develop a greater
(15:53):
fruit of the spirit of self control, But could it
also be that there is a demonic spirit of anger?
Living and harboring a certain trigger in your mind that
will manifest at certain times. And so one of the
things that I've always wanted to teach people is no
(16:14):
matter how annointed you are, you still could possibly be
harboring an unclean spirit. Understand the great the greatest analogy
that I can give you is the analogy of a
trap house.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
On one of the things you can understand about trap house.
And if you don't know what a trap house is,
I'll explain to your trap house.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
A trap house is a place where you go to
do drugs. You hear loud, obnoxious ghetto music, pimps, prostitutes, potheads,
drug dealers, all the works, usually in a trap house.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Excuse me, So a.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Trap house carry all of this illegal activity. But my
question to you is what if the trap house got repossessed?
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Excuse me? What if the.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Owner of the trap house forgot to pay the mortgage
over and over again, the trap house would become repossessed.
This is what has happened to you that are in Christ.
Satan could not afford you. You were so valuable that
(17:34):
Satan could not afford your mortgage. Glory to God. And
now you've been repossessed by Jesus. You are under the
ownership of Jesus Christ. But can I tell you something.
When a trap house becomes repossessed, does it immediately get
rid of the pimps, the prostitutes, the drug addicts, the
(17:57):
drug dealers, the wickedness in the trap house.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Now a representative of the bank or of the law
must come into the trap house and drive the illegal
residence out. That's that, my friend, is what deliverance is.
You have been repossessed by Jesus, and sometimes now a
(18:28):
representative of the law of the Kingdom of God has
now got to come in and remove forcibly the things
that have been in your bloodline, the things that have
been in your heart, your mind, your soul, your body
for years that feel as if they have a right
(18:49):
to be there because they've been there for so long. This,
my friend, is the power of deliverance. The Bible tells
us that wherever the finger of God is, if I
drive out a demon by the finger of God, Jesus says,
the Kingdom of God is among youth. One of the
(19:10):
ultimate signs that God's Kingdom is present in any environment
is when deliverance takes place, and demons are displaced. The
Kingdom of God is a militant kingdom. You know, God's
Kingdom is not this what we've made it out to be,
(19:31):
this weak, passive tree hugging Jesus kingdom where we just
love on each other and kumbay yah. But the Bible says,
since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom suffers
or allows violence, and the violent take it by force.
God's Kingdom is a militant kingdom, and it's a kingdom
(19:52):
of invasion. God's Kingdom is not a kingdom of negotiation.
It's a kingdom of takeover, kingdom that displaces demonic powers.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
You understand what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
So now that we understand that, we have just understand
the Kingdom of God is manifested.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
When deliverance takes.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Place, Jesus said, it is the finger of God. Now,
the finger of God. It shows up three times in scriptures.
It shows up when Jesus is accused of casting out
demons by beyels above. They said, he drives out devils
by beels above, And Jesus said, no, it's the finger
of God. I drive out a demon. And now the
finger of God shows up. Two more times of scriptures,
(20:35):
both in the days of Moses, one time in Exodus,
one time in Deuteronomy. The first time it shows up
is is when Moses is releasing the judgments of God
against Egypt to convince Pharaoh to let God's people go,
and something very interesting takes place. Moses strikes the dust
of the earth in one of the plagues that hit Egypt,
(20:58):
and the dust of the earth turns into gnats. And
the Bible says, there were gnats on beast, gnats on animals,
on people, gnats everywhere. And the sorcerers attempted to imitate
this miracle or this judgment, and they couldn't because it
was copyrighted by the Spirit if you will, yeah, And
(21:19):
they say to Pharaoh, we cannot do this.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
This is nothing but the finger of God. Put a
finger right there.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Now, let's move forward. Took the book of Deuteronomy. The
Bible says that Moses is up on that horrib and
God takes his finger and writes out a law on
stone tablets and gives it to Moses.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
So we said the finger of God twice with Moses.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
One when God was delivering the children of Israel out
of Egypt and two a law to give them once
they were out of Israel. So this shows me that
deliverance or the finger of God has two applications. It
has a supernatural and it has a practical manifestation. Once again,
(22:16):
hear me, beloved, it has a supernatural application and it
has a practical application. The first being supernatural. That's when
we lay hands on you, or we command the devil
to come out of you, or we just break a curse,
break a yoke, break a soul tie, break a excuse.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Me, I'm just getting over the flu, guys.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
But break whatever the enemy has uh placed on your
life off of you. Then, Bible says he wrote with
his finger into stone tablets. In other words, once I
set you free from this, there is a law. There
is a way of life that I expecting of you.
(23:03):
There is something that's gonna set you free. But then
something that's going to keep you free. The supernatural element
of deliverance sets you free, but the practical element of
deliverance keeps you free. What am I talking about. I'm
talking about the tablets of your heart. The Bible says
(23:26):
God has written upon the tablets of our heart. There
is a new law written upon the tablets of our heart.
And God has written a law on every person's heart.
And this obeying the law that God has written upon
your heart. The tablets of your heart, hear me, is
gonna be what keeps you free. It's gonna be what
(23:48):
keeps you free. So, in other words, what is the
tablet of your heart saying? What is God saying? You
can't go back to?
Speaker 2 (23:58):
What is God saying? You can listen?
Speaker 1 (24:01):
If you were dealing with fornication, looks like give me
the break up with your boyfriend a girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
I said it. I said it.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
You sitting in your car wondering if you should break
up with her. I'm talking to you, brouh. You don't
even want to marry her. Some of you you don't
even want to marry her. You just you just like
the relationship and not being lonely and the sexual gratification.
(24:30):
But God wants to break lust off of you. But
you can't go back to a woman that is so
willing to give you whatever you want. You and a wife,
not someone who temporarily satisfies you, or possibly you can't
look at Instagram late at night. God will write a
(24:50):
lump on your heart if God wants to deliver you
from addiction, you have no business going back to a bar.
You have no business going to a club. You have
no business going to a where people are drinking. Because
God's writing a new law upon the tablets of your heart.
And so let God set you free today and then
(25:13):
hear me, then I want you to live bout the
tablet of your heart. Let God lead you. And can
I tell you something. God does not lead you into temptation.
God does not tempt So if you are in a
situation where you're tempted to go into the same patterns
(25:34):
and habits that you were going into before, it's not
the Holy Spirit leading you. The Bible says them that
are led by many of them that are led by
the spirit, they are the sons of God. So when
you receive the spirit of adoption and receive it, receives
some ship, you are able to be led by the
Spirit of God and he won't lead you into demonic
(25:56):
activity for your life. Aright and amen. So this has
been my introduction to talking about demons and deliverance. Listen, guys,
Deliverance is uh indicated to us by the Scripture by
being the children's bread. So in other words, it belongs
(26:18):
to those who already belong to God. So listen, you
need to be delivered, You need to be set free.
Some of you've had night terrors, nightmares over and over again.
You're addicted to weed, You're addicted to pornography, You're addicted
