Speaker 2 (01:02):
Daniel, chapter six and verses fourteen through twenty eight from
the reliving translation, these words were recorded there in do
you have It Samn. Hearing this, the King was deeply troubled,
and he tried to think of a way to save Daniel.
He spent the rest of the day looking for a
(01:23):
waving to get Daniel out of this predicament. In the evening,
the men went together to the King and said, your majesty,
you know that according to the law of the Meeds
and Persians, no law that the king's signs can be changed.
So at last the King gave orders for Daniel to
be arrested and thrown into the den of lions. The
(01:44):
king said to him, may your God, whom you serve
faithfully rescue you. A stone was brought placed over the
mouth of the den. The king sealed the stone with
his own royal seal and the seals of his nobles,
so that no one could rescue Daniel. Then the king
(02:05):
returned to his palace and spent the night fast him.
He refused his usual entertainment. He didn't watch HBO that night.
He couldn't sleep it all that night. Very early in
the next morning, the King got up and hurried out
to the lion's den. When he got there, he called
out in anguish Daniel, servant of the Living God, was
(02:31):
your God, whom you served so faithfully able to rescue
you from the lions? Daniel Lansip long lived. The king,
my God sent his angel to shut the lion's mound,
so that they would not hurt me. For I have
(02:52):
been found innocent in his sight, and I have not
wronged you, Your majesty. The King was over your order
that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch
was found on him where he had trusted in his God.
Then the King gave orders to arrest the men who
(03:15):
had maliciously accused Daniel.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
He had them thrown.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Into the lion's den, along with their wives and children.
The lions leaped on them and tore them apart before
they even hit the floor of the den. Then King
Darius sent this message to the people of every race
and nation and languish throughout the world. He sent dout
(03:43):
this tweet y'all, peace and prosperity to you. I decreamed
that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before
the God of Daniel. For he is the living God,
and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed,
(04:08):
and his rule will never end. He rescues and saves
his people. He performed miraculous signs and wonders in the
heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the
power of the lions. So Daniel prosper during the rain
(04:29):
of Darius and the rain of Cyrus. The Persian amen,
I want to just preach about making it through the night,
Making it through the night. What a night, brothers and sissus,
what a night? Can you imagine? The night Daniel was
(04:50):
thrown into the lion's den. It was unavoidable. That it
was unavoidable. Even the King himself couldn't stop it from happening.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
And the King had been trying and all day long.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
We read it right there in verse fourteen that hearing this,
the king was deeply trouble and he tried to think
of a way to save Daniel. He spent the rest
of the day, the Bible said, looking for a way
to get Daniel out of this predictivement. And yet it
(05:26):
was unavoidable, Brothers and sisters, it was unimaginable. It was
unimaginable because Daniel would have to spend the night in
the lion's den. That's what happened, verse sixteen, verse sixteen.
So at last the king had to give orders for
Daniel to be arrested thrown into the den of lion.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
And the king said, may your God whom you serve
so faithfully rescue you.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Unimaginable that day that Daniel brothers and sister would have
to spind an entire night in the lion's den. Now,
some of us couldn't stand being in a den if
it was just one spider, and yet Daniel is going
(06:20):
to have to spend a night in a dean full
of lions. Unavoidable. It was unimaginable. Brothers and sisters. Don't
need you to know this morning. It was unjust. It
was unjust because Daniel had not done anything wrong. Matter
(06:40):
of fact, Daniel had so impressed the king of King
Darians that the Bible said that he wanted to really
had plans verse three to promote Daniel to being over
the entire empire. Daniel had some haters, some folks said,
(07:02):
we can't let that thing happen, and so verse four,
look what the Bible said. The other administrators and how
officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel
was handling government affair. But they couldn't find anything to
criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.
(07:29):
I tell you it was unjust. They couldn't find anything.
And so here's what they decided to do. They see,
let's make the king sign a thirty day decree that
for the next thirty days, nobody can pray to anybody
or anything or any god except you, o King, And
(07:53):
if they did, they would have to be thrown into
the lion's den with a plot and sisters. And yet
of Daniel, once he knew that the law had been signed,
is one to steal go right back to praying to
his god. It was unjust. And yet the question becomes,
(08:16):
what do you do? What do you do? How do
you make it through the night when you have to
be in the lion's den? Not only was he in
the den, but they said they took a stone and
put it over the map of the den so that
nobody could rescue Daniel. They even the king had to
(08:38):
eve and seal it, and have to put the seals
of the other nobles.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
How do you make it through the night?
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Because let's be honest, Brown, I find ourselves in a
night right now. We're in a night of darkness. There
is darkness all around it. It seems as if it
has swept not only America, but across this entire well.
We are in a night of disease? How do you
(09:07):
make it through a night of disease? Corona a virus,
have everybody gripped with fear? It is a night of disease,
no cure, not even a vast senor. How do you
make it through a night, a night of distress where
it's seem as if things are hopeless?
Speaker 3 (09:26):
How do you make that through the night.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
It's so easy, brothers and sisters, to be afraid and alone.
It's so easier to be anxious and abandoned at times
like this. But oh, I thank God for Daniel, because
Daniel gives us a different perspective. Because when you look
at Daniel, brothers and sisters, Daniel is not afraid.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Daniel is not anxious.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Daniel is not alone, He's not abandoned.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
But he was able to survive the knight.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Not gonna read it in the text, but I believe
that not only did he survived the knight.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
I believe he slept through the night.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
I believe he slept through the night brothers and sister,
not a panic, not a worry, And Daniel he made
it through the night.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
He survived it.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Why because of the fact of his faithfulness and I
believe that's the key brown this morning to get him
through the knight. I believe that the key is faithfulness,
is faithful. There several times we read that word over
and over again. Verse sixteen, name the God whom you
(10:43):
serve faithfully, in verse twenty, God whom you serve so faithful?
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Li Oh, brothers and sisters.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
I believe that the key to get him through the
knife is faithfulness. Dan Young was faithful. Matter of fact,
brothers and sister. The truth of the matter, Dan Young
had been faithful doing before the Lion's then he.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Was faithful to God.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Everybody understood his commitment to the Lord.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
He is faithful during the lion's then God is.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Wanted to bring him out so that he can be
faithful even after the lion's den. We're going through a night,
and y'all, we see examples of panic all around us.
Store shells being empty, folks, hands being thrown up, Folks
(11:44):
saying they ran out of toilet paper. They don't know
why they ran out of toilet paper. If you bought
all the toilet paper, can you share it with somebody else?
But there's a state of panic going on. And yet
what God is seeing this morning brown. Since faithfulness will
get you through the night. Remain faithful and don't change.
(12:10):
Since faithfulness will get us through the night. Brothers and sister,
this is not the time for panic. This is not
the time for pandemonium. This is not the time for
pessimism and to feel as if we are doomed and
we are distressed and there is disaster all around all.
(12:32):
Brothers and sister, what we need is faithfulness. We need
to remain faithful in the midst of it all. You
keep on trusting God, You keep on believing, You keep
on stemming on the promises of God, keep on knowing
that I'm safe in his arm. Remain faithful, Remain faithful,
(12:54):
because God, whom we serve, is faithful to keep us
in the mist it all. So how do we do it? Preacher?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
How do we do it?
Speaker 2 (13:03):
How how do we make it through the night? Let
me give it to you and I go. I learned
several things here from Daniel chapter sixth Race of all,
if we're gonna make it through the ninth, it takes
fervent praying. It takes fervant praying because the question becomes
what sustained Daniel? What is it that sustained Dan. You
got to understand something. Now Daniel is not a strap
(13:25):
limb teenager anymore. When we met Daniel in chapter one,
he was coming out of Jerusalem, probably about fifteen sixteen,
seventeen years of age. But now Daniel is an old man.
What is it that sustained Dan yell through his teenage year,
through the mid years? What is if that sustained Dan y'all,
even now that he is an old man? Can I
(13:50):
tell you what it was? It was fervant praying, fervent
pri in verse ten. But when Daniel learned that the
law had been signed, he went home and knelt down
as usual in his upstairs room with his windows open
toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as
(14:13):
he had always done, given thanks to his God. Fervent praying,
fervent praying, fervent praying. Daniel just wouldn't know Baptist prayer.
He didn't just have one one prayer that he prayed
at night. Now when I laid him down, this leaguing,
now I pray the Lord mind. No, No, Daniel wasn't
(14:35):
one of those that just prayed. Jesus wept over his
food because that was the shortest verse in the No. No,
Daniel was fervant in his praying. Here's what I love
about Daniel, and that furtherent praying.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Y'all.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
He didn't stop praying. He didn't stop praying. He had
already been praying three times a day, window open to Jerusalem.
When then when the law was signed that he could
not pray to God in him more, he kept on praying.
He didn't stop praying, but he kept praying just as
(15:09):
he had done usual. I need to let somebody know
during him this time, we need to keep on praying.
Whatever you do, don't stop praying. Luke out Chapter eighteen,
verse one. Jesus said himself, ma'am should always pray and
never give up. This ain't the time to throw up
your hand in distressed, but.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
It's the time to call on the Lord.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
He didn't stop praying. He didn't stop praying. But not
only did he not stop praying, he didn't even slow
up prayer. He didn't slow up pray. I know how
folks are folks. How you know that a law been
signed that you can't pray for the next thirty days
or be throwing him the lion?
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Then well, I just take a.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Breathere for thirty days, lood, Lord understand my heart, and
as soon as the thirty days, I'm gonna get back
to prayer.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
No, damn, you didn't slow up praying.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Some of us would have said, why, well, you know what,
they get up early in the morning, so so I
ain't gonna I ain't.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Gonna pray the early prayer.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
But but I hit that mid day prayer when everybody
at work and nobody. No, Dangel didn't slow up praying.
Can I tell you something, Brown, don't you pose in prayer?
Don't don't you hip that pause? But I don't care
what what.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Law might be signed.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
You don't stop praying, don't slow up praying. Matter of fact,
Daniel didn't secretly pray, because some of us we'll pray,
but we will.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
What was going on Now, I.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Can pray in my heart, I can pray silent, lay back,
but Lord here silent, and he'll oh bet reward us openly. No,
I'm Dangel didn't secretly pray. I can imagine in my
mind Daniel at the king Palace and the law was signed.
Somebody said, now nobody can really call on anybody else's name.
(17:11):
It was already again time for lunch time, and Daniel
every day around noon would go back home and get.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
On his knee, norm that he knew that the law
had been signed.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
He loaded up his briefcase Good God, hold Hi Mighty,
went on back to his home, climb those step open
the window.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
And he didn't secretly do it. But I believe he
called on the name of the Lord as loud as
he could. He didn't secretly pray.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
I can hear Daniel's saying, I don't care who sees man,
I don't care who hears man, I.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Don't care who knows. Now, Lord, here it is once again.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
I'm need being and body bow coming before you as
only God I know. I tell you he didn't secretly pray.
Can I tell you something? Prayer on this morning. We're
gonna make it through the night. Keep praying, keep praying,
keep praying. Men, and matter of fact, if you can't
gather to pray, you call.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
And start a prayer line. But you better keep on praying.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Because taking the chronicle seventy fourteen of my people who
are called by my name, well humble them sails, having pray,
seek my face and turn from their wicked way God said,
I will hear from heaven heal the land, forgive them.
I'm death saying. You keep on praying, keep on praying,
because the Bible said Philippian form verse say, don't you
(18:39):
worry about anything, but with prayer and supplication, let your
request be made known. I'm to God with thanksgiving. Keep
on praying. Praying the morning, pray during today, Pray when
you come back.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Home at night. Because there is power in prayer.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
It's gonna take some fervent praying, fervent praying if we're
gonna get through the night, fervent praying.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
But not only fervent praying.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Here a second thing, it takes y'all faithful practice, faithful
practice because not holand what is it that sustained danie
But what is it that sanctified Daniell?
Speaker 3 (19:17):
What is it that shinctified Daniel?
Speaker 2 (19:19):
What is if that kept Daniel holy as a teenage,
a middle age and even a old man. This is why,
this is why I hate to say it, but I
don't believe Daniel was a Baptist. Because they said when
they tried to find some dirt on Daniel, they couldn't
(19:40):
find it. Amen, somebody they what kept him holy in
the midst of all of this. I tell you it
was some habits, faithful practicing habits that kept him holy.
Can I tell you something, Brown, what God saying even
(20:01):
through this night?
Speaker 3 (20:02):
We need the faithful practice? What do we need to
keep on doing? I tell you, let's take a lesson
from Daniel.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Worship worship, worship, worship, worship, because look what the Bible said.
Not only did dang you go back to his upstairs room.
Not only that he opened the window toward Jerusalem. Not
only did he pray three times, just like he had
all already done. I love the last part of that,
he gave thanks to his God. In other words, Dan
(20:30):
your had his own praise and worship, then your had
his own way. I'll bless him the name of the Lord.
Can I tell you something Brown. That's why worship is
so important. We ought to get to the point where
we understand something that I can't stop worshiping our God.
I can't stop worshiping him who woke me up this morning.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I can't stop worshiping.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Him who has given me the activities of my limb.
Is just something about worship that we ought to make
it a lifestyle that we like David, that I'll bless
the Lord at all time.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
His praise shall continue. That be in my mouth.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Matter of fact, make it such a lifestyle until you
don't even need a place to worship God. You don't
even need a choir to worship him. You don't even
need a certain time to worship Him. But when worship
becomes a lifestyle, you'll wake up in the morning now
with the praise on your lips. If you can't make
it to the House of the Lord right there in
(21:29):
your living room, you'll still worship him. You will still
give him the glory rare.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
You may not have.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
A deacon, but you'll still have your own devotion. You
may not have a choir, but you will go ahead
and make your own song.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
That I know how good God have been to me.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Why because worship He is a practice that we ought.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
To keep on to him. But not all that, not
all that was he worshiping God faithful practice.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
But let me give you another one, brothers and sister,
the word of God. The word of God was a
faithful practice. A Word of God was a faithful practice.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
I just have a.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Sneak of feeling that Daniel was in the word. Why
do you say that, preacher, because the Bible said that
he opened his window toward Jerusalem. And if you go
back the Second Chronicle, chapter six, when Solomon was dedicating
Temple unto the Lord, here is what Solomon asked God
to do. Solomon said, Lord, if we have been taken
(22:29):
from our land, if Faman has hit us, if enemies
have come in and taken m Solomon said, God, if
we just look toward Jerusalem, if we just look toward
this place, and if we just cry out to you,
I want you to hear our prayers, all brothers and Susan.
That's why Bible study is so important. You stay in
(22:51):
the word of God. You keep on him, the Word
of God, and make the Word a love of your life,
because it will encourage you through nighttime.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
No wonder.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
The summer said, blessed is the man that walk is
not in the counsel of the young God left, not
stempted in the way of sinners, not set in the
seat of the scunf but his delight, it's.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
In the law of the Lord.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
I don't know what get you happy, but I get
happy when I reap the word of God. When I
read that he that abide in the Most High, shall
abide under the shadow of.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
The Most High.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I get happy when I read that he'll give his aim.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
Josh charge over you to God and keep you in
all of your ways.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
I get happy when I look at the fact of
Psalms one twenty one. I will lift up my eyes
onto the heels. Where does my help come from? My
hap come from the Lord? In other words, stay in
the Word, keep believing the word standing on the world.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
It takes worship.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
It takes the Word, but then it takes witness sin
as a faithful practice.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
You see, Daniel knew he had some hate us.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
He knew that some folks was listening out for him,
and that's why I believe he cried out loud, because
he wanted them to know that.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
God is still on the throne.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Can I just remind us this morning that the darkest
time is the best time to be a witness about
God Almighty.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
In other words, you.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Look for opportunity to tell somebody about the Lord. When
they talk to you about Corona, you talk to them
about Jehovah Ralphah, because my God.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Is the great physician.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
When they talk about the day that's going on, you
talk about.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
This is the day that the Lord has made.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
And I will resource and be exceeded and left therein.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
In other words, we often use this time to.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Keep on witnessing for the Lord, to point folks to
Jesus Christ, to let somebody know he's still on the throne,
he's still saving, he's still delivering, he's still a mind regulator.
And so not only keep praying Brown, but we gotta
keep on pressing. We gotta keep on pressing. This ain't
(25:22):
the time to do your own thing. This ain't the
time to try to live your own way. But you
better stay holy, you better stay right with God. This
is the time to keep on pressing in faithful practice
because the Bible is right Proverbs fourteen thirty four that
(25:43):
it is a righteousness that exalts some nation, but sin
is a reproach to every people home. This is the
time that God needs some holy folks to stend him
the gap because Proverbs eleven verse, by the blessings of
the upper right the city is exulting. It takes faithful practice,
(26:07):
It takes fervent pray. Yeah, oh but let me give
you another, let me give you another one. It takes
focus persistence. It takes focus persistent. This is what strengthened Dane.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
You. It takes focus persistent. Here it is, y'all, we
read about Dane.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You're being thrown into the dean, but at last checked,
the stone is rolled over the dean. We don't understand
what's happening inside, but what verse eighteen tell us is
what's happening on the outside. Look what verse eighteen looks
at verse eighteen. The king returned to his palace, spent
(26:48):
the night fast, refuse his usual entertainment, and he couldn't
sleep at all. Boy, that bless my soul. Do y'all
see the actions of Darius. He's a pagan king. He
don't even know the Lord. But good God, ah Almighty.
He was so impressed by Daniel until he said, I
(27:11):
gotta focus on this thing. I gotta help my brother
in any way possible. And so what did he do?
He focused on Daniel. He had Daniel on his heart
and mind. And can I remind the church this is
the time for us to focus on.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Others around us.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
You may not be sick, but you ought to faink
God that you're not sick, but you are to focus
on those who are sick. Focus on those caring for
the sick people.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
We ought to focus on other This is the time not.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
To be selfish. Thank you darry Is for focusing on Daniel.
Not only did he focus on Daniel, but he fasted
for Daniel. Did you see what the Bible's had that
he gave up his own entertainment. He didn't even eat
that night. He stayed awake all night long. He fasted
for Daniell all brothers and sister. This is not the
(28:09):
time for the church to slack up and fast them
and pray. But it's the time for the church to
be faster because some things won't happen without.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Fasting and pray. Yet, what, preacher, I know, we just
got through with the fast, But God is saying I.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Need somebody that's willing to fast for somebody else. If
Darius could do it for Daniel, we ought to do
it for one another. Oh, I encourage just s pick
up seek the city there, seek God for the city
at and let's go into a time.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Of fasting and pray.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Yemp. He focused on Daniel, he fasted for Daniel, but
then he followed up on Daniel. He couldn't even wait
till the next morning, until he ran down there. The
Bible said, before the sun really came on the way up.
He went back down to the den. Here is what
(29:06):
he said to Daniel. Daniel, a servant of the Living God,
was your God, whom you served so faithfully able to
rescue you from the liar. He followed up on Daniel,
good God, Oh many church folks.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Let's follow up on folks. Let's call folks.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Let's check on folks that they're folks that are being quarantined,
folks that are not coming out of their home. We
ought to follow up on them. Because the song is right.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, if
I can sheare somebody with a word or song, If
(29:44):
I can show somebody that he is traveling wrong, my
living will not be in vain. And so keep on
partner in. You see, we need all hands on deck.
We need your participation. And so do your.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Pa stand in the.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Gap, do your pod, drop off some food, drop off
some sanitized, do your part, check on the students, check
on the elder letter, do your pod.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Just go and sit with.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Some folks so they won't feel all alone. Do your
pod for when the world is in this darkness the Church.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Can chime the brightest. Do your paw.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Let's stay focused and persistent in what God have called
us to do. I let you go ground when I
give you the last one that helped Daniel make it
through the night. And I call them that the favorite presence,
the favorite presence because the question becomes who surrounded it Daniel?
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Who surrounded Daniel?
Speaker 2 (30:56):
I'm thankful for verse twenty two because verse twenty two
is Daniel's testimony of what happened in the Dean. We
wouldn't have known that if Daniel hadn't given his testimony
that my God sent his angel to shut the lion's
mouth so that they would not hurt me.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
For I'm not how I have been found in a
sent in his sight, and I've not.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Wrong you, your majesty, thank God for the testimony.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Many commentaries believe.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
That the same one that walked with shadrack me shat
and have been to gold in Daniel chapter three is
the same one who was there with Daniel and babysit
a Daniel and Daniel chapter six.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Aren't you glad?
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Jesus Christ himself came down from Globe Rare the stone
was over the mouth of the den. But how many
Lord Jesus, he don't need anybody to move the stone away,
but he can step into your situation. Thank God for
(32:13):
the testimonia that Daniel is going.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
To give to us.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Can I just encourage somebody that I know we're going
through the night, but weeping may endure.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Fornight, but joy is coming on.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
It, and I'm looking for the morning when God give
us a testimony of how he brought us out, how
he kept us through, how he made away. Thank you
Daniel for the testimonia. What was the testimonia? Well, first
of all, God simp his son. God simp his son,
(32:55):
God simp his angel my way into the den.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
That's good news.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Brand that God send his son while we will yet
sent us Christ Jesus died for us. God send his son.
For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
(33:26):
but have ever less than life. I'll only encourage some
boy that that God will he has sending his son.
He has sending Jesus down your way. But not only
would God send Jesus your way, but He has sent
angels your way for songs ninety one and verse eleven,
(33:50):
that he'll give his angels charge over you to God
and keep you, protect you wherever you go. God, God
simped his son. But here was testimony number two. Daniel said,
God shut the lion's mouth. God shut the lion's mouth. Boy,
(34:13):
that bless my soul, that God shut the lion's mouth.
Then you got to understand this Brown. It doesn't say
God took.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Away their appetite. I don't believe he.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Took their appetite away, because the very next morning, when
the other folks were thrown in, before their bodies hit
the floor, the Bible said the lions was chumping, leaping,
and eating them up before they even hit the floor.
(34:47):
He didn't take away their appetite. But what God did.
He shut the mouth. He shut the mouth onto the
That God can shut it down. Aren't you glad that
what the devil meant to take you out?
Speaker 3 (35:09):
God will shut it down. That hater.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
God can shut it down, that disease.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
God can shut it down. I'm God that God will.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
God can, He can shut the lion's mouth. Here's another
reason why I'm glad He shut the lion's mouth because
the devil caught in the First Peter, chapter five and
verse eight. He's walking around like a roaring lion, seeking
(35:43):
whom he made divide. If the devil can't bite you,
he a gray to try to scare your half to death.
But when God shut the mouth, no sound, no bite,
no diviron. Thank you God sending your son shutting the mouth.
(36:08):
But let me give you one more testimony. God saved Dangiel.
God saved dang you because when they brought him out,
no harm, not even a scratch. When they brought him out,
not even a scratch was found on Daniel.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
How many know.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
God is able to save you. Thank the young folks.
He can keep you safe. Won't he do it? Won't
he do it? Won't he do it? That's why I
believe that Dan you went to sleep, that knight him
the lion is dead because Psalms won twenty.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
One and verse three were already read.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
And that he that keepeth thee neither sleep, no slumber.
When Jesus so dang you'll understood that he's.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Got to watch all night long.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
And if Jesus ain't going to sleep, it ain't no sense.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Both of us stay in woke all night long, aren't
you glad?
Speaker 2 (37:17):
He will safe, He will keep you in the midst
of it all. And so I'm here to tell you
this morning, we gotta keep on praising. We gotta keep
on praise, We gotta keep on praising. I don't know
how dang you're praise the Lord, but I just believe
(37:40):
that if God brought you out, if God kept you safe,
you ought not be quiet, you ought not be sedita,
but you ought to be able to throw up a
hand and say, figure, figure, Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
Jesus for praise saving me.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
And so keep on praising him, keep on giving him
the glory.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Praise him for being in it with you. Praise him
for keeping your mind. Praise him for keeping your lights on.
Praise him for keeping food on the table. Praise him
for keeping you saved. That's all I stopped. Better tell you.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
I know we're in the midst of a night, but
all brown, I wanna give him an anticipatory praise.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
I wanna praise him in advance.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Don't know about tomorrow, but I know who holds my tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
And if God did it, then he can do it
right now. For look what.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Darry you said, praise Peter God. Everybody off to fear God.
Off the tumble before God. Because he is the living God.
He is the living God. Do you know him Brown?
(39:12):
Do you know him Brown as the living God. He's
not dead, He's not an idol.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
But he is the living God. He is the living God.
For him, the beginning.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
Was the Word, and the word was with God, and
the word was God, and the Word became flesh and
dwelt among us. He is the living God. We beheld
his glory as of the on la begotten of the Father.
(39:52):
He is the living God. For one Friday morning on
an old ragged cross, Jesus died for your sin, died
for my sin. He went down in the grave, But
how many there? He ain't in the grave. But he's
(40:12):
a liar.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
He is the living God.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Thank your Darius for the name living God. Thank you
for repeating the name. He is the living God. I
thank him because when I think of Jesus, my Living God,
I think of fourth seventy nine, I think of the
fourth century.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I think of six point thirty two.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Of eighteen fifty, of fifteen thirty nine. You see, those
dates represent the dates of other.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
Leaders who died and they still dead.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Who would have died in the fourth century, and he's
still dead. Confucius died in four seventy nine, and he's
still dead. Mohammed died in six thirty two. He's still dead.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
Sikhism leader died in fifteen thirty nine. He's still dead.
By Hard leader died in eighteen fifty, but he's still dead.
But my Jesus, my Jesus.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Your God, he is the living God he Brews Chapter seven,
verse TWMP to four and twump to five. Because Jesus
lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever. Therefore he is able
(41:47):
once and forever to save those who come to God
through him. He lives forever. Tell him to see with
God on their behalf. He is a liar. He is
a liar.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
He is he is a liar.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
For one Sunday night he got up in my own
He is a liar. But then he is alert. He
sees what you're going through. He hears your prayer. He
is alert. He knowed the situation. He is alert. But
(42:29):
then he is available. He'll come right where you are,
into your living room, into that nursing home, into that
hospital room. He is available. He'll come to your lions den.
But then he's able.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
He's able. He's able. Yeah, won't he keep you? He's able.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Greater is he that is in us, Then he that's
in the world.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
He is abel. And because he lives.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
Because he lives, I can face tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Because he lives. All fear is.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Gone because I know who holds my tomorrow. And life
is worth the living because he lives. He is faithful,
He is faithful, He is faithful.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
First Corypti in ten thirteen.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
There has no temptation taken you, but such as is
common to man. But God he is faithful. He will
make a way to escape. He will help you to
bear it. He is faithful. He awoke with you. He
(44:00):
is faithful. He'll talk with you. He is faithful. He'll
hold your hand, wrap you in his arms. He is faithful,
and so brown. Keep being faithful, keep on praying, keep
on pressing, keep being faithful, keep on living, hold that,
(44:23):
keep on hipping one another, keep being faithful.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
And this too, this too, this too, We'll pass. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (44:36):
Yeah, yeah, thank you, Jesus, Thank you, Jesus, Thank you, Jesus,
thank you, Jesus, thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
Can I tell you Brown, what's the big difference between
Most High gone and chapter six Living God champed three?
Most High God got in if I with them, And
(45:19):
when the man looked and saw them walk in, he
took them on out.
Speaker 3 (45:27):
But chapter six Living God stone over the den.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
But Jeez stepped in that time.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
It wasn't no quick fix.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
But he spent the night.
Speaker 3 (45:47):
He spent the night. There, you get some sleep. I
got this thing cover. He spent the night.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Line, you sit over there, Line, you sit over there?
What's your math? Close your lips, keep your teeth to yourself.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
He spent the night. Oh, I don't know how long
the night, but I can tell you he'll spend the night.
He'll spend the night. He'll spend the night. He's the
living God.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
Is able to sustain.
