We have no problem yielding to other things to help
us with things we can't do on our own. It's
the same with a Holy Spirit. You feel that anger
rising up in you, and here's what you do. You say,
Holy Spirit, right now, I yield to you. I yield
to you. Right now, Holy Spirit, you have been put
in me to kill the fleay. If I buy the
spirit to put to death the deeds of the flesh,

I will live. It's a holy Spirit. Right now, I
yield to you. I'm about to get mad, I yield
to you. I'm getting lustful. I yield to you. I'm
being filled with fear. I yield to you.

The Holy Spirit has been given to you as a
tool to help you resist the enemy's temptation in this world.
Just like you rely on man made tools to overcome
simple obstacles in your life, you can rely on the
power of the Holy Spirit. Put your trust in him
to help you overcome temptation and the desire of your flesh,

and you will find it easier and easier to make
those decisions over time. Pastor Jeff tchissue that trusting in
the spirit is like exercising a muscle.

You need to do it over and over again to

Well, let's join Pastor Jeff in the Book of Romans,
chapter seven, as he continues his message, I.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Reckon love, joy. How many of you want some joy? Amen? Peace? Patience?
How many of you need a little bit of patience?
Come on? How many of you know it's not a gift?
Gifts are sown, fruit is grown, and patience is a
fruit that has grown. It takes time. So how do
(01:42):
I get it? Pastor? By being put in situations that
try your patience? Amen? But that's another message. Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self control. Look what the Holy Spirit produces if we
walk in the spirit, isn't it beautiful? Love? Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentlest self control. Put all of those in a blender,
hit liquefy, pour it out. You know what you get Jesus.
That just described Jesus. That just described Jesus for us.
And the good news is Paul goes on to reveal
the solution to our battle with the flesh. He said,
(02:28):
thank God, thank God, He said, who will deliver me?
From this body of death. Thank God, it has been
done by Jesus Christ, our Lord. He has set me free.
Can we give the Lord a hand today? He has
set me free. So in Romans seven, you read your Bible,
you'll see Paul describing the battle with the flesh. But
(02:49):
then in Romans eight he gives us the solution to
the battle, the answer for the battle, the way to
win the battle. Listen to Romans eight, verse one. So
there is therefore now no condemnation awaiting those who belong
to Jesus Christ. You and I are not going to
be condemned. We are not going to face God and
have him read off the list of things we did wrong.

It's all been wiped away by the blood of the Lamb,
the blood of Jesus Christ. So there will be no
more condemnation, but there will instead be well done. Good
and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord. Amen.
Now watch what Paul says. He just told us all
about this battle with the flesh. Now look what he
(03:32):
says for the power. Everybody say, power of the life
giving Spirit. And this power is mine through Jesus Christ
has freed me from the vicious circle of sin. And
death now here. He's giving us the key to victory
over the flesh, over that anger, over that jealousy, over
(03:56):
that envy, over that lust, over that fear, over the
that's selfishness, over all of those things that rise up
and torment us in our mind in life. He said,
here's the victory, the power of the life giving spirit
of God. Listen to what he says. He goes further.
Those who let themselves be controlled by their lower natures
(04:19):
live only to please themselves. How many you can say,
I know that's right. If you're living in the flesh,
it's all about you. You want you taking care of
and you're not worried about anybody else. You are focused
on you, and it's all about you. But those listen
to what it says. But those who follow after the
Holy Spirit find themselves doing those things that please God.
(04:39):
Following after the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace.
But following after the old nature leads to death. So
if I walk in the spirit, if I am controlled
by the Holy Spirit, and that's what it means to
be filled with the spirit. If I'm filled with the spirit,
I'm controlled by the Holy Spirit. And as I am

controlled by the Holy Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit,
and he fills me on a daily basis. I reap
life and I have peace. I've got life and I've
got peace, and I don't need a new car to
get it. I don't need a new house to get it.
I don't need a new relationship to get it. I've
got life and peace through God when I walk in
(05:22):
the Holy Spirit of God. But if you walk in
the flesh and bring spiritual death, sorrows, regret, and a
joyless life, it's a choice. Every day, every hour of
every day. We have the choice of walking in the
spirit or walking in the flesh. Are you gonna walk
(05:44):
grumpy and angry and mad at the world and full
of fear, and full of anger, and full of hatred,
and full of jealousy and envy, and mad at everybody,
and mad at the world and just just miserable to
be around. That's the flesh. Or you're gonna walk in
the Holy Spirit, where you experience love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, meekness.

I mean to me, there is no contest now. If
you're gonna walk in the spirit, Everybody say walk in
the spirit. If we are led by the spirit, then
we're walking by the spirit. If we're walking by the spirit,
we're filled with the spirit. As we saw last time.
If you're gonna be filled with the spirit and walk
(06:29):
by the spirit, you've got to do some things. Number One,
obey his inner promptings to feed your inner man with
the things of God on a daily basis. Three, you've
got to be convinced of something very important. And now
I'm gonna get down to the crux of what I
want to say today. You've got to be convinced. That's
why I call this I reckon. You've got to reckon.

You've got to be convinced. You've got to know in
your knower, deep down, in the innermost of your innermost,
that your old nature, your flesh, was crucified with Jesus.
Come on, everybody, stay with me. Crucified he nailed. Listen
to what the Bible says Galatians two, verse twenty. Here's Paul.

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. And the life that I
now live, I live by faith in the Son of
God who died and gave himself for me. Notice, I
am crucified who's the eye he's talking about. He's talking
about his old man, his old self, his old life,
(07:38):
his old flesh. He said, I those things, that old
nature that got me in all my trouble, that old
nature I inherited from Adam, was crucified on the cross
with Jesus Christ. Now he said, well, that sounds real, pretty, Jeff,
that sounds kind of poetic. That's a real neat thought. No,
(07:58):
it's more than a neat thought. It is a fact
in the mind and eyes of God, that as Jesus
hung on that cross and died for you and me,
he took your old man, my old man, your old self,
my old self, your flesh, my flesh, and it was
nailed to the cross with Jesus. Galatians five twenty four.

Paul says it again, those who belong to Christ Jesus
have crucified the flesh with its passions and its desires crucified.
But then he gets even better in Roman six'. Four
listen to. This we were, Therefore OH i love. This
are you? Ready let me tell you what happened to
you when you came To. Jesus here it is we
were therefore buried with him threw baptism into death in

order that, it just As Jesus christ was raised from
the dead through the glory of The, father we two
may live a brand new. Life now get. That here's the,

now this is what water baptism signifies every time we.

into the, water we say these, words we say buried
with him by baptism into his. Death the whole idea
of water baptism is to symbolize and signify and illustrate
what has really happened to us. Spiritually we were buried With,

water buried with, him it means you leave your old
life in that. Water you leave your leave your old
flesh in that, water you leave your old habits in that,
water you leave your old way of doing things in that.
Water and then when we bring you up out of the,
water we, say raised to walk in the newness of.
Life As jesus was, crucified so was our old. Man

and then that old man was buried with. Him and,
listen you don't bury something unless it's. Dead, Amen and
then raised to walk in newness of. Life you are
a resurrected man or a resurrected. Woman you are not
what you used to. Be you have had the greatest
miracle available to all mankind happened to. You there's nothing

greater than being saved when you got. Saved if any
man be In, christ he is a brand new. Creation
the old is passed, away buried with, him crucified with,
him the oldest passed. Away, behold all things are become
new and. Resurrected so, listen we are to walk in

the truth of this that our old nature of sinful
flesh died With jesus on that. Cross NOW i know

flesh is. Alive and, well you're telling me it's. Dead
BUT i battled with my flesh all the. Time how

until we receive our glorified bodies of the return Of,
christ the flesh is gonna be an enemy that we contend.
With but here's what The bible is telling. Us, that
just like the devil is a defeated, foe is the
devil a defeated? FOE i, Said is the devil a defeated?
Foe Did jesus take away his power of, Death hell
and the? Grave Did jesus take the keys of hell

away from? Listen Did jesus strip him of his power
when he shed his blood on the? Cross all, right
the way that the devil is a defeated, foe The
bible's telling, us so is your flesh a defeated. Foe
and you are to know that's. True, amen it's, defeated it's.
Crucified jesus killed. It and when he, returns and we're

caught up together with him in the, Clouds and so
shall we ever be with The lord the moment that
the trumpet, Sounds, folks here's what's gonna. Happen we're gonna
receive a brand new, body a glorified. Body it'll be
a body just Like jesus had when he walked through
doors and into a private room where the disciples were
huddled full of. Fear he walked right through the, door

but then he ate. Fish he could walk through a,
door but then he ate. Fish it was a glorified.
Body he lifted up his hands and ascended into. Glory
it was a beautiful, body a glorified. Body no, pain no,
sickness no, disease no. Nothing and we're gonna get the
same body That jesus had when he was raised from the,
dead a glorified. Body it does not yet, Appear john,

wrote it does not yet appear what we shall. Be
but we know that when we shall see, him we
shall be like. Him for we shall see him as he.
Is and in a, moment in the twinkling of an,
eye we're going to receive a brand, new glorified. Body

and in that glorified, body there is no, flesh there
are no, headaches there is no, cancer there is no heart,
disease there is no, Arthritis there is no, pain there

Christ paul, says for we, know, everybody say, no that
our old self was crucified with, him so that the
body ruled by sin might be done away. With CAN
i read that, again so that the body ruled by

the body that is ruled by sin might be done away,
with that we should no longer be slaves to. Sin

some parents took their little girl to a circus and
in this, circus of, course there was the elephants and the,
lions and the tigers and the bears and all of,
that and there was this. Elephant and the elephant, was
of course taught to step up onto that stool kind
of thing and do a little. Pose and the little
girl noticed that this elephant had a rope around one

of his, legs and it was tied to a little
steak that was in the. Ground and the little girl
said to her, Parents mom and, dad why doesn't that, great,
big powerful elephant just pull that steak up and walk?
Away and they, said you know, why, sweetie he doesn't
know he. Can why don't people walk in the spirit

and not in the flesh who know The lord because
they don't know they. Can why don't people walk away
from some of the things that have tied their life
down and made them stay in a place Where god
didn't want, them a simple little steak put there by
the devil that could easily be pulled up by a
child Of god filled with the. Spirit because they don't

know the, truth they don't know they. CAN i came
today to tell you can pull the stake up and
walk away and be. Free you've got to know you
can come. On, everybody Give god. Praise he gave us
a great. Deliverance say when THEY i can do all

things Through, christ who strengthens. Me So paul, says, likewise you, also,
therefore Since i've told you all of this about your,
freedom reckon. Yourselves there's my, word reckon yourselves to be,
dead indeed, descend but alive To god In, Christ jesus Our.
Lord that word reckon means simply consider it a done.

i serve my flesh and serve the. Devil but now

upon your old sin nature as. Dead look at it as.
Dead look upon your old sin nature as dead and
unresponsive to, sin and instead be alive To, god alert
To him Through Jesus, christ Our. Lord, so no matter
what you, feel what it looks, like what your emotions,

It practical, so well it's great to know, all this
but HOW do i make? It happen you make it

happen by walking in. The spirit god gave Us The,
holy spirit among, other things to give us victory over.
Our flesh we've got to obey the. Spirit's promptings we've
got to feed our inner man daily with the manna
Of the Word. Of god we're to set our minds
on the Things. Of god we're to know that our,

old self including, the flesh was Crucified. With christ, and
last you've got to learn to yield to the power of.
The spirit, everybody say learn and. To yield there's an
old song learning, to lean learning. To lean i'm learning
to Lean on jesus finding more Power than i've, ever
dreamed learning to Lean. On jesus, paul says if by

the spirit you put to death the deeds of, the
flesh you. Will live if by. The spirit notice he
didn't say by. Your willpower he didn't say by. Your
looks he didn't say by. Your pedigree he didn't say by.
Your money he didn't say by. Your philosophy he said by.

The SPIRIT, if i By, the spirit put to death
the deeds of, THE flesh i. Will live if you
fight the flesh with, the flesh you. Will lose you
can't beat the flesh with Willpower On new. Year's resolution

the flesh can't. Be rehabbed there's only one thing you
can do with, the flesh. Kill it and the only
way to kill it is by the Spirit. Of. God
amen by the Spirit, of god not YOUR, high iq
the Spirit, of god not, your education the Spirit. Of
god you kill it by the Spirit. Of god if

By the spirit you fight, the flesh you. Will win you.
Will win we do this all the time. In life
you get a headache and you can't get rid of.
That thing what do? You do you grab, some aspirin
and you take aspirin and, You say i'm trusting these
aspirin to take care of THE pain i can't take,
Care of so aspirin go fight. For me i'm just
(21:47):
gonna yield to you and. My body i'm gonna take
this Aspirin and i'm gonna let the aspirin fight this
pain for ME because i can't get rid. Of it
and we yield, to it and within fifteen, twenty minutes
if it's if, it works your headache. Is gone and
YOU say i didn't. Do that the aspirin. Did it
we have no problem yielding to other things to help
us with things we can't do on. Our own it's
(22:10):
the same with A. Holy spirit you feel that anger
rising up, in you and here's what. You do, You Say,
holy spirit, RIGHT now i yield. TO you i yield
to you, Right Now, holy spirit you have been put
in me to kill the fleay bye By, the spirit

Will live It's A. Holy spirit, RIGHT now i yield.
To you i'm about to. GET mad i yield. To
you i'm. GETTING lustful i yield. To you i'm being filled.

WITH fear i yield. To, You oh i'm being eaten alive.
BY envy i yield, to you and you let the
spirit do what. You CAN'T and i have found that
as SOON as, I Say, holy spirit you have been
put in me to give. ME victory i yield to you,
right now in this moment when my flesh is wanting,

to RISE and i find that immediately the peace Of
the spirit. Steps in and immediately he either gives me
counsel or he gives. Me strength he tells me what,
to do how to, handle it how to look, at
it how, to respond or he just fills me with.
His strength he gives strength to. The weak, isaiah said
(23:17):
he gives power to. The faint, paul SAID when i
don't have, any strength That's when. I'm strongest why Because
The holy spirit steps in. For, me see he's there
to help you in your hour. Of need, come, on
everybody so learning to walk in. The spirit HOW do
i kill the deeds of the flesh by the spirit?

By yielding, Simply yielding get out of. The way don't
try to fight. At yourself it's bigger, than you but
it's not bigger. Than him god gave You The holy
ghost to give you victory over. Your Flesh. HOLY ghost
i give this battle to you, right now and he
is faithful to step in and help you in that
moment of weakness. And Need.

lean on when things, get hard but he backs you
up and helps you get stronger as you resist the
desires of your flesh and the temptations of. This World

grumpy and angry and mad at the world and full
of fear, and full of anger, and full of hatred,
and full of jealousy and envy, and mad at everybody,
and mad at the world and just just miserable to
be around. That's the flesh. Or you're gonna walk in
the Holy Spirit, where you experience love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, meekness.

I mean to me, there is no contest now. If
you're gonna walk in the spirit, Everybody say walk in
the spirit. If we are led by the spirit, then
we're walking by the spirit. If we're walking by the spirit,
we're filled with the spirit. As we saw last time.
If you're gonna be filled with the spirit and walk
(06:29):
by the spirit, you've got to do some things. Number One,
obey his inner promptings to feed your inner man with
the things of God on a daily basis. Three, you've
got to be convinced of something very important. And now
I'm gonna get down to the crux of what I
want to say today. You've got to be convinced. That's
why I call this I reckon. You've got to reckon.

You've got to be convinced. You've got to know in
your knower, deep down, in the innermost of your innermost,
that your old nature, your flesh, was crucified with Jesus.
Come on, everybody, stay with me. Crucified he nailed. Listen
to what the Bible says Galatians two, verse twenty. Here's Paul.

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. And the life that I
now live, I live by faith in the Son of
God who died and gave himself for me. Notice, I
am crucified who's the eye he's talking about. He's talking
about his old man, his old self, his old life,

his old flesh. He said, I those things, that old
nature that got me in all my trouble, that old
nature I inherited from Adam, was crucified on the cross
with Jesus Christ. Now he said, well, that sounds real, pretty, Jeff,
that sounds kind of poetic. That's a real neat thought. No,

it's more than a neat thought. It is a fact
in the mind and eyes of God, that as Jesus
hung on that cross and died for you and me,
he took your old man, my old man, your old self,
my old self, your flesh, my flesh, and it was
nailed to the cross with Jesus. Galatians five twenty four.

Paul says it again, those who belong to Christ Jesus
have crucified the flesh with its passions and its desires crucified.
But then he gets even better in Roman six'. Four
listen to. This we were, Therefore OH i love. This
are you? Ready let me tell you what happened to
you when you came To. Jesus here it is we
were therefore buried with him threw baptism into death in

order that, it just As Jesus christ was raised from
the dead through the glory of The, father we two
may live a brand new. Life now get. That here's the,

him BUT i didn't stop. There then we were buried with,

to live a resurrected life through. Him As jesus was

Dead so we were crucified with, him buried with, him
and rose with him to live a brand, new resurrected. Life,
now this is what water baptism signifies every time we.
Baptize we baptized a lot of people Last, sunday and

this is what it. Signifies when we put people down
into the, water we say these, words we say buried
with him by baptism into his. Death the whole idea
of water baptism is to symbolize and signify and illustrate
what has really happened to us. Spiritually we were buried With,
jesus buried with. Him so when you go down into that,

water buried with, him it means you leave your old
life in that. Water you leave your leave your old
flesh in that, water you leave your old habits in that,
water you leave your old way of doing things in that.
Water and then when we bring you up out of the,
water we, say raised to walk in the newness of.
Life As jesus was, crucified so was our old. Man

and then that old man was buried with. Him and,
listen you don't bury something unless it's. Dead, Amen and
then raised to walk in newness of. Life you are
a resurrected man or a resurrected. Woman you are not
what you used to. Be you have had the greatest
miracle available to all mankind happened to. You there's nothing

greater than being saved when you got. Saved if any
man be In, christ he is a brand new. Creation
the old is passed, away buried with, him crucified with,
him the oldest passed. Away, behold all things are become
new and. Resurrected so, listen we are to walk in

the truth of this that our old nature of sinful
flesh died With jesus on that. Cross NOW i know

flesh is. Alive and, well you're telling me it's. Dead
BUT i battled with my flesh all the. Time how
do you tell me it's? Dead number, ONE i didn't tell.

until we receive our glorified bodies of the return Of,
christ the flesh is gonna be an enemy that we contend.
With but here's what The bible is telling. Us, that
just like the devil is a defeated, foe is the
devil a defeated? FOE i, Said is the devil a defeated?
Foe Did jesus take away his power of, Death hell
and the? Grave Did jesus take the keys of hell

away from? Listen Did jesus strip him of his power
when he shed his blood on the? Cross all, right
the way that the devil is a defeated, foe The
bible's telling, us so is your flesh a defeated. Foe
and you are to know that's. True, amen it's, defeated it's.
Crucified jesus killed. It and when he, returns and we're

caught up together with him in the, Clouds and so
shall we ever be with The lord the moment that
the trumpet, Sounds, folks here's what's gonna. Happen we're gonna
receive a brand new, body a glorified. Body it'll be
a body just Like jesus had when he walked through
doors and into a private room where the disciples were
huddled full of. Fear he walked right through the, door

but then he ate. Fish he could walk through a,
door but then he ate. Fish it was a glorified.
Body he lifted up his hands and ascended into. Glory
it was a beautiful, body a glorified. Body no, pain no,
sickness no, disease no. Nothing and we're gonna get the
same body That jesus had when he was raised from the,
dead a glorified. Body it does not yet, Appear john,

wrote it does not yet appear what we shall. Be
but we know that when we shall see, him we
shall be like. Him for we shall see him as he.
Is and in a, moment in the twinkling of an,
eye we're going to receive a brand, new glorified. Body

and in that glorified, body there is no, flesh there
are no, headaches there is no, cancer there is no heart,
disease there is no, Arthritis there is no, pain there
is no, sorrow there is no. Depression, hi, Everybody I'm Pastor,

the body that is ruled by sin might be done away,
with that we should no longer be slaves to. Sin

steak that was in the. Ground and the little girl
said to her, Parents mom and, dad why doesn't that, great,
big powerful elephant just pull that steak up and walk?
Away and they, said you know, why, sweetie he doesn't
know he. Can why don't people walk in the spirit

and not in the flesh who know The lord because
they don't know they. Can why don't people walk away
from some of the things that have tied their life
down and made them stay in a place Where god
didn't want, them a simple little steak put there by
the devil that could easily be pulled up by a
child Of god filled with the. Spirit because they don't

know the, truth they don't know they. CAN i came
today to tell you can pull the stake up and
walk away and be. Free you've got to know you
can come. On, everybody Give god. Praise he gave us

things Through, christ who strengthens. Me So paul, says, likewise you, also,

freedom reckon. Yourselves there's my, word reckon yourselves to be,

Lord that word reckon means simply consider it a done.

Deal look at yourself this. Way my flesh can no
longer tell me what to. Do BEFORE i was, SAVED
i serve my flesh and serve the. Devil but now
That i'm, SAVED i Serve, god AND i walk by the,
spirit not by the. Flesh Living bible, Says so look

upon your old sin nature as. Dead look at it as.
Dead look upon your old sin nature as dead and
unresponsive to, sin and instead be alive To, god alert
To him Through Jesus, christ Our. Lord, so no matter
what you, feel what it looks, like what your emotions,
say reckon it to be true that your old sin,

nature the, flesh is back there hanging on the cross
With Jesus. Christ. Crucified your anger is, There your lust is,
There your fear is, there your jealousy is, there your
envy is. There they're all crucified With. Christ roma six.'
eleven the message could it be? Any clearer our old

way of life was nailed to the Cross, with christ
a decisive end to, that sin. Miserable life no longer.
It sins every beck and. Call Amen now i'm gonna
take just two minutes to tell you how to make.
It practical, so well it's great to know, all this
but HOW do i make? It happen you make it

happen by walking in. The spirit god gave Us The,
holy spirit among, other things to give us victory over.
Our flesh we've got to obey the. Spirit's promptings we've
got to feed our inner man daily with the manna
Of the Word. Of god we're to set our minds
on the Things. Of god we're to know that our,
(19:49):
old self including, the flesh was Crucified. With christ, and
last you've got to learn to yield to the power of.
The spirit, everybody say learn and. To yield there's an
old song learning, to lean learning. To lean i'm learning
to Lean on jesus finding more Power than i've, ever
dreamed learning to Lean. On jesus, paul says if by
(20:18):
the spirit you put to death the deeds of, the
flesh you. Will live if by. The spirit notice he
didn't say by. Your willpower he didn't say by. Your
looks he didn't say by. Your pedigree he didn't say by.
Your money he didn't say by. Your philosophy he said by.
(20:38):
The SPIRIT, if i By, the spirit put to death
the deeds of, THE flesh i. Will live if you
fight the flesh with, the flesh you. Will lose you
can't beat the flesh with Willpower On new. Year's resolution
(21:01):
the flesh can't. Be rehabbed there's only one thing you
can do with, the flesh. Kill it and the only
way to kill it is by the Spirit. Of. God
amen by the Spirit, of god not YOUR, high iq
the Spirit, of god not, your education the Spirit. Of
god you kill it by the Spirit. Of god if

By the spirit you fight, the flesh you. Will win you.
Will win we do this all the time. In life
you get a headache and you can't get rid of.
That thing what do? You do you grab, some aspirin
and you take aspirin and, You say i'm trusting these
aspirin to take care of THE pain i can't take,
Care of so aspirin go fight. For me i'm just
(21:47):
gonna yield to you and. My body i'm gonna take
this Aspirin and i'm gonna let the aspirin fight this
pain for ME because i can't get rid. Of it
and we yield, to it and within fifteen, twenty minutes
if it's if, it works your headache. Is gone and
YOU say i didn't. Do that the aspirin. Did it
we have no problem yielding to other things to help
us with things we can't do on. Our own it's
(22:10):
the same with A. Holy spirit you feel that anger
rising up, in you and here's what. You do, You Say,
holy spirit, RIGHT now i yield. TO you i yield
to you, Right Now, holy spirit you have been put
in me to kill the fleay bye By, the spirit
to put to death the deeds of. THE flesh i.
Will live It's A. Holy spirit, RIGHT now i yield.
To you i'm about to. GET mad i yield. To
you i'm. GETTING lustful i yield. To you i'm being filled.

WITH fear i yield. To, You oh i'm being eaten alive.
BY envy i yield, to you and you let the
spirit do what. You CAN'T and i have found that
as SOON as, I Say, holy spirit you have been
put in me to give. ME victory i yield to you,
right now in this moment when my flesh is wanting,
(22:57):
to RISE and i find that immediately the peace Of
the spirit. Steps in and immediately he either gives me
counsel or he gives. Me strength he tells me what,
to do how to, handle it how to look, at
it how, to respond or he just fills me with.
His strength he gives strength to. The weak, isaiah said
(23:17):
he gives power to. The faint, paul SAID when i
don't have, any strength That's when. I'm strongest why Because
The holy spirit steps in. For, me see he's there
to help you in your hour. Of need, come, on
everybody so learning to walk in. The spirit HOW do
i kill the deeds of the flesh by the spirit?
(23:38):
By yielding, Simply yielding get out of. The way don't
try to fight. At yourself it's bigger, than you but
it's not bigger. Than him god gave You The holy
ghost to give you victory over. Your Flesh. HOLY ghost
i give this battle to you, right now and he
is faithful to step in and help you in that
moment of weakness. And Need.
