Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is gonna be one of my favorite Bible studies today.
I can't wait to get into the show. Now. I've
got Mercedes with me, I got Annabelle with me. We're gonna,
I'm gonna, We're gonna try to spontaneously take a part
one of the most fascinating pieces of the Bible I've
ever read, which is how you can minister the supernatural
fruit of the Spirit through you. I always hear about

(00:21):
the gifts. I'm going to talk about the fruits. I've
been learning this lately and it's stirring me up. I
want you to be able to get a hold of
our teachings. Every month, by the way, go to lancewalnout
dot com forward slash heartbeat lancewalnut dot com for a
slash heartbeat. You know why. This month I just sent
out teaching which you can get for any amount your

(00:41):
gift of any amount, and it's on how to minister
the supernatural to other people and to yourself, because we're
being called to live in a supernatural age. You can
call eight hundred and nine one zero six three four
nine in order it that way, But go to Lancewallow
dot com forard slash heart beat. It's a special letter,
special teaching, and a special gift, and you can give

(01:03):
you your gift of any amount and you can actually
get that teaching sent right to you. God bless you.
Let's get into today's show on the supernatural fruit of
the spirit. So Jesus in you. So what we're learning
here is and we're gonna we're going to study this together.
All the fruit and ning fruit of the spirit are

(01:24):
for are for people. I'll agree with that. I think
everybody needs them. I mean, it's not like they don't
need love, they don't need joy, they don't need peace,
they need all of it. What I learned from doctor
Durstein Phil, you know Gerald Durstein and his son Phil,
is that Jesus Gerald urs I was a Mennonite preacher

(01:50):
and it was really educated by the Lord in a revival.
And the Lord started speaking to him and said, I
want you to ministry of the Kingdom. And of course
he saw aa Allen, he saw great preachers or a
Roberts and he said he thought that was the ministry.
And the Lord spoke to him and said, there's two

(02:12):
ways that you actually get to discover who Jesus is.
Jesus is both a character are personality, and Jesus also
has an ability. Any person is known by their character
and known by their ability what they can do and

(02:32):
their personality, and then what their talents are personality until
you could say this could be the personality and their
particular talent what it is or skill, This makes them unique. Now,
what the Holy Spirit showed Gerald Durstein, which I never forgot,

(02:52):
is that the character of Jesus is revealed in the
fruit of the spirit s Annabel. The reason why those
words is so important is because Jesus is both a
personality and an ability. And if Christ is in you,
then in you you have his ability and you have
his personality. What keeps us from manifesting it is we

(03:16):
really never put it together this way. So the fruit
attached to the vine Jesus is love and joy and
peace and patience. What else do we have? Their Annabel
and kindness yep, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, faithless and

(03:45):
self control and illness and self control one, two, three, four, five,
six seven, self control. I don't know if you got gentles,
and I'm going to put gentle there. It's in the Bible.
I just read them reading in a row. But here's
the point. You have all these in you. You might say, well,

(04:07):
I'm not very loving, yet the Bible says in Romans
five five, God has shed his love abroad in your
heart by the Holy Spirit who is in you. So
the Holy Spirit is going to minister Jesus through you.
You have all nine of the attributes. And here's what
made Jered Durstein's revelation so interesting that, as Mercedes said,

(04:35):
you might think that you're only ministering all I wish
I could be spiritual enough to pray for the sick
and they be healed, or to have words of knowledge
like a prophet. But we'll come over to here. That's
going to be the ability of Jesus. But you have
the fruit of the spirit, and people can taste the

(04:55):
love of God, the joy of the Lord, or the
peace of God. Those three things particularly, you can minister
to them because christ In you can actually minister through
you the love of God. Christ In you can minister
through you peace. Christ In you can minister through you

(05:20):
the Joy. And I think I've seen this, and I
think you've done it, and I don't think you've properly
analyzed what's going on. Whenever you're ministering in your someone
else's spirit's lifted, strengthened in some way. We are ministering
to each other. You're not. Your flesh isn't going to

(05:40):
refresh somebody. It's going to be the spirit of Christ
in you is actually communicating through impartation. Through impartation, right,
it's just what comes through you. You're dispensing the life.
You have this, you have this ability, Anna, But I
really believe this. I believe you minister, your minister joy

(06:01):
and you minister life. Have you ever had people come
up to you and say, you know, I feel better
just talking to you. What they're saying is something here
of Jesus left a residue on them. So when they
left you, they're a little calmer they left you. They're
a little more hopeful. They left you, they were stronger.

(06:24):
Christ in you was ministering to them. Now. The gifts
of the spirit which are in Corinthians chapter twelve, First
Grinthians chapter twelve, and those you can group together. They
are the revelation gifts, they are the verbal gifts, and

(06:53):
they are the power gifts. That's why I was one
of those categories. Here. You see what my brain is
gone because I know that there's categories for the gifts
or the ability of Christ. Now the ability of Christ.
So what do we have listed at the top of
the list of revelation gifts? Mercedes?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
The first one you're saying is a word of wisdom, so.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
It's a word of wisdom.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Next one is a word of knowledge, word of.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Knowledge, next one faith, gifts of faith, and each of
these is a teaching in themselves. What is the difference
between a word of wisdom and a word of knowledge?
And then we have the gifts of prophecy.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Healings healing, and then the working of miracles, working of miracles,
and then prophecy and prophecy. Let them keep going?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Are you going to? What else do we have?

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Discerning of spirits?

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Discerning of spirits?

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Buckle up for those who don't believe this one different
kinds of tongues.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
And then there's tongues and then an interpretation of.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Tongues, an interpretation. So that's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Oh,
look at this we have, as we're running out of
ink here we have nine fruit of the spirit, and

(08:34):
we have nine gifts of the Spirit. Isn't that curious.
So the high priest had on the hem of their garment.
Watch this down here they had a bell and a pomegranate.

(08:59):
A bell and a pomegranate, and a bell and a
pomegran and perfect symmetry. What in the world is God saying?
God wants you as his priest to have the fruit
of the spirit and the gifts of the spirit working

(09:22):
in symmetry and your personality, so that you have the bell,
which is the gift, and the pomegranate, which is the fruit,
both of these working together, both of these moving in harmony.
One is the sound that is a sign, it's calling

(09:47):
you to see something. The other is something you could taste.
That's the fruit. People come up against you and they
taste your spirit. People are inact acted by you through
your gifts, talents and abilities that are infused with the
gifts of the spirit.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Well, our friend Coiletta teaches about the fragrance that.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
You leave behind in the room.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Yeah, true, it's an interesting concept.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Like for it is I walk the comment too.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
I don't know, we have a little bit left.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Well, I was just going to say, you know, an
interesting aspect of being in ministry and kind of serving
in ministry for as long as you know you guys
have and I know Larry and I are in and
out of it, that just because somebody has a gift
of the spirit doesn't mean they're operating in the fruit
of the spirit. And I think oftentimes in the body
of Christ, you can look at a man or a
woman of God and say, but they're prophesying and they're

(10:41):
doing these things, but then it's they don't have the
corresponding fruit to go with it. And so I just
thought that was like an interesting.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
That's what That's what Dave Yarn't was just saying before
He's like Matthew seven, Jesus is saying.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
I never knew you.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Yes, like you did the prophecy, you did this, you
did all this stuff.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
But I never knew you.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
That's this scary that's scary for me.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
That's like this scariest word in the Bible of that
we cast out demons in your name, we prophesied in
your name, and Jesus says, away from me, for I
never knew you. And it's like, that's that's why annabelt
Animal's point. You got to be your own fruit inspector.
You can't be living and practicing those habitual, fleshly things.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
And I have to say also, you need to have
genuine Christian relationships because if if any man, you know,
if a man sins, you go to him and tell
him his fault between you and him alone. If you
don't have anyone that could ever tell you your fault or
your sin or I am it's so healthy when you're

(11:37):
with people that will call you fruit, inspect your behavior. Hey,
that wasn't right, what you did was wrong? That was
It's helpful. Hey, listen, you want to come right back
after this break because we're not done yet. Your brain
will form a neurological loop based upon what you're saying
to yourself. How come I'm so stupid? How come so stupid?

(11:58):
Why do these things always happen? And one of these
things would happen, nobody could be trusted, nobody could be
trust you. See, whatever you agree with, you empower. That's
why you want to be aware and beware of what
you agree with. If God wants to be able to
take over the traffic between your ears and give you
the thoughts of heaven, you can go to lancewallnout dot com,
Forward slash Heartbeat heartbeat because in a moment, snap your

(12:23):
fingers that fast, God can put a thought in you
that will change your life that fast. Every day God
can redirect the thought. Go to Lancewallow dot com forward
slash heartbeat for your gift of any amount. You can
get a hold of this teaching. I'm making it simple
and available. Call eight hundred and nine one zero six
three four nine and you can do it right on demand,
right now. Get a hold of this message. It'll change

(12:46):
your life because it'll change the way you act in
the supernatural. Welcome back to the lancewall Now, PU will say,
we're having an argument here, a debate about cred to
brief break about the fruit of the spirit. And what
could be more ironic than a debate about the fruit?
But uh, such as the nature of the flesh that

(13:09):
Mercedes gets in.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Oh now hilarious.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
But you know, like, I just want to say that
have you ever read these stories that are really cool
about people that have gone to heaven And have you
noticed the stories that that one of the one of
the characterism is the fruit that's there. I don't know
if you've been reading this, but I mean, I'm serious.
I got these great testimonies that people that have gone
to heaven and they you know, and they're there and

(13:37):
they and they describe the fruit trees because the tree
of life is there. And I'm not saying this is
like theology, but these are great testimony. Book let's like Paradise. Uh.
There's one book I read by the End Time, Handmaids
or Swing, years ago. I never forgot it. It's about
a person's journey to heaven to see how heaven is.
Jesse de Plants has been there, he's talked about other

(13:59):
people have talked about it, but it talks about the
tree of life is there. Michael Kropts. The man the
centertor that died and went to heaven and came back
to was friends of ours. He said the tree of
life was there. He saw it. Now this tree is.
It grows all over the place in heaven and there's
fruit on the tree. Remember thou shalt not eat of
the fruit of the tree. Well, the tree has fruit. Anyway,

(14:22):
I'm reading the I'm reading various books. And these people
didn't even know each other. They describe their heavenly experience. Wow.
And they said when they got there, when they get
to heaven, they can barely handle the glory. I mean
they're in there, they're in a spirit form, but still
getting acclimated to that environment. You know what it's like
when you get you go down under the power. If
you're Pentecostal, if you're in a meeting where could barely

(14:42):
stand up. In the Old Testament, the priests fell down
because of the glory well in heaven like people would
get there and they could barely handle the journey. They
just got there and they could barely handle the journey
entering in and coming in. But someone would come along
to encourag to them and give them fruit, and they'd
eat the fruit, and the fruit suddenly strengthen them. And

(15:06):
the fruit that came from the tree of life was
like different colors, and it was like a metallic looking
gold or a silver or a copper, or different colors
than on earth that you see. But the fruit would
give you a certain virtue of the spirit of God.
We'd go into your spirit, man, and you would suddenly
be It's almost like the fruit of peace and the

(15:28):
fruit of joy or the fruit of love coming off
the tree of life. Because the fruit of the spirit
comes off of the life of the Holy spirit. And
so you say, I'm not a very kind or a
very patient person. But that's true in your soul and
in your history, but not in your capacity, because now

(15:48):
you have the ability of Christ. And I think what
we do is we live in a very shallow realm
of experiential Christianity. And what these great mystics of my
early years were teaching me is that, oh, you can
minister peace to someone else, but you might first have
to minister peace to yourself. So then how do you

(16:11):
first of all, is it even biblical? Because we're word people.
And what you see here is if you go to Colossians,
chapter three, verse thirteen, for fifteen fourteen says, above all
these things, put on love. You put on love. It's
like you put on a coat, or you partake of

(16:32):
the fruit. And let the peace of God rule in
your hearts to which you were called in one body,
Let the piece rule, Let the piece be the umpire.
So that I mean, I've had it happen, haven't you.
I've had it happen with both of you. Where we're
an intense home situation or intense work situation, and I

(16:55):
might not be acting in the fruit of the spirit,
but I feel well the peace uh is lifting, I
feel his sense of uneasiness. Well, let the peace of
God rule, meaning umpire. When the peace lifts, it's time
to stop what you're doing and start to inquire, because
God will call balls and strikes. Peace will rule and

(17:16):
go that's not me or that's not what I want
right now, or that's not the disposition of Jesus. And
you could tell, and you're if you're spiritually grounded, that
the something this isn't right, and you actually, if you
have the ability, you could stop, as I had to
do today and apologize and say I was wrong. Apologize.

(17:37):
I actually did apologize.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Not to me though it wasn't even to me, although
maybe it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
It was Mercedes. But the fact of the matter is
that the peace of God can be an umpire and
tell you when you're when you're right, and when you're wrong. True,
but letting the peace. The part that I'm saying is
what Gerald Durstein taught me is you may need to
minister peace to yourself because you can let the peace

(18:06):
of God rule in you. And so that's why I
have my little keyboard over here. You see, it used
to be that I used to play in my library
at night and worship, and occasionally I'd invite you to
come in to the periscopian room and I would sing
until I became self conscious that I'm really not a
great performer. So I felt I felt this for me

(18:29):
and the Lord, not for people. Youah, great worshiper, though
I love worshiping. And so the point is I would
sing to the Lord, and then the peace of God
would in some way, peace of God would come probably
come up out of me, but it seems like it's
coming down on you. But the point is you can
let the peace of God rule in your heart. And

(18:49):
now look what it says right here, being thankful and
let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly. How
do you do that? You read, you study, you listen,
You do what we're doing now. You take time with
the Word of God so that in all wisdom, teaching
and admonishing one another like we're doing here, we're talking.
I know I'm dominating because it's my platform. But sharing

(19:10):
with each other is how you let the Word dwell richly,
let the peace of God rule put on love. It's
a system where the Word and the Spirit and you
and I are interacted. But notice what catalyzes it. Teaching
and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

(19:31):
singing with grace God's ability in your heart to the Lord.
So the singing, I believe, is a great activator. It's
why worship is more than just the song service before
the preaching. Worship is an environment catalyst. When you sing
about the peace of the Lord and sing to the
love of God, then the love of God begins to

(19:52):
rise up, the peace of God begins to rise it
because it's actually it's in you.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
It's like putting on the garment of praise for this
to heaviness, like you're doing the opposite and it works
because it's it's what the Lord told us to do
so and you've.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Been living proof of that. You are living proof of that.
Because Annabelle's got this thing she wants me to do.
You know, I share all of our gadgets with you all.
So she's had brain scans. Doctor Amen's brain scan, he's
a friend of ours, and he shows us he does
these brain scan and show how your brain's working. Well,
she did, she had. She wants me to get mine.
I'm not ready for mine. Yet she she had hers

(20:26):
done and she had some interesting feedback when the doctor said, wow,
you know, while they're working with her in a brain scan,
they go, you have remarkable positivity, is what they said.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Yes, well, they do other tests besides the scan. The
scans showed that I should be depressed, have anxiety, and
be freaking out all the time, but because I have
this big positivity side, it eclipses all that. And I
told doctor Johnson that basically it's because I'm spirit filled
Christian and I love to intercede and pray, and God
just displaces all that because I just give it over

(21:01):
to him. I have friends and very close to people
in my life who have that, and I know it's
not me.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I don't have that.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
I see it come in and I send it right Eliah.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
But let's see, that's just rissus real people. I mean,
this is like she's saying that, you know, and then
the doctor says, you know, you should be having this,
but you don't because we have another skill over here.
You have, which is called hope. It's called faith, called
holy ghost. Brother, it's called holy ghosts. It is the
holy ghost changes everything. You know. That's true, the Lord.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
I would say too.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
In this passage a thing that stands out to me
is essentially the fellowship of the brethren. That you're not
doing this by yourself, that this is being done with
a community around you. So whether you are going to
church actively or you have your own ecclesia or small group,
that this is something where you're teaching and monishing one
another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. So anyways, I

(21:57):
just thought that was fascinating that we're designed to do
life together in.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Community, life together.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Is he going to the board again, I'm going to
the board again.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
I just want to I want to summarize. We only
got two minutes left here only I want to say
that Christ is in you. Jesus is in you. The
Holy Spirit doesn't ever leave you. So you've got Christ
in you. Now. You may not feel like the love
of God is there, but it's there, because if the

(22:28):
Holy Spirit's in you, then the love of God is there.
The love of God is there, The peace of God
is there, The joy of God is there. Hey, how
about this. The patience of God is there, The kindness
of God is there, the goodness of God, self control
is a fruit of the spirit, not a gift, and

(22:50):
therefore gifts are given to you without your effort. Gifts
are under the Christmas tree. Pine cones grow on the
christ Smiths tree. I think whatever gifts are under the tree,
you don't do anything for these. But I want you
to catch this great revelation that came by the way

(23:11):
of the Holy Spirit. To brother Gurstein, Jesus is in you.
And a person is known by their personality and their ability,
and you have the personality and character of Christ in you,
because the fruit of the Spirit is the personality of Jesus.
Jesus is the love of God. He is the joy
of the Father. He is the peace of God. He
is patience and kind, he is that goodness and gentleness,

(23:34):
he is faithfulness, he is self control. And if Christ
is in you, then you can become a partaker of
the divine nature. We didn't even go to that verse
in the Bible. Become a partaker of the divine nature.
You can partake of that nature so that that fruit
that is His becomes yours, and you become looking more

(23:56):
and more like a Christian. People see you, they see him,
They see you, and they see him because Christ in
you becomes a manifestation if you will, of who He is,
and you look like a Christian. But not only that,

(24:17):
you have ability, nine gifts here, nine fruit here, and
we can begin to experience and grow in prophecy and
words of wisdom, words, and we'll talk more about how
these gifts are being I believe that the gifts are
operating more than we think. We don't know how to
yield to them. A friend of mine, Kim Clement, used
to be visited. He'd have images and cartoons and stuff

(24:38):
happening during meetings, and he started to realize the cartoon
image was it a distraction or his flesh or the devil.
It was a window into an insight and the Spirit
of God was talking to him in images and he
started to say oh, and he started moving in prophetic
words of knowledge based on what he saw. There's ways
God might be talking you don't even realize, but there

(25:00):
are gifts of the spirit, the ability of Christ and
the character of Christ can float out of you because
it's not you, it's Christ in you. The hope of glory.
What an exciting life, what an exciting thought? And then
we can learn how to minister or how to take
the fruit, boom off that and partake. You need to

(25:20):
partake of these. You can't give what you don't have.
And if you're not gentle with yourself, you can't be
gentle with others. If you're not patient with yourself, you
can't give patience. So there's a sense in which you
have to be partaker of the fruit to minister the fruit.
And that's going to be where I'm going to land

(25:42):
this stuff thought. Right now, there's and over here I
said earlier, the fruit of the spirit and the gifts
of the spirit should be the symmetry balance that the
high priest had a pomegranate and a bell a pomegranate
and a bell a fruit and a gift, the fruit
and the gift. All the way around the garment. You
could hear the gifts coming. But the pomegranate was a

(26:04):
symbol of the fruit of the character of who is there.
We're called to be that manifestation of both. So let
me just share with you now, if you are going
through something, maybe you need to experience the Kingdom of God, righteousness,
peace and joy, the inheritance of a Christian. Do you
know you have it in you? If you're a believer,

(26:26):
so let me pray for you. Father. I pray right
now for those watching today's broadcast, that you will help
them and help each of us to have this revelation
that Christ in us is the hope of being glorified,
that we can be transformed by your indwelling presence and

(26:47):
by the revelation of the Word that changes the way
we think. I pray, Lord, that you give each of
us a fresh revelation that we are ministers of the
love of God and the joy of God, and the
peace of God and the patience of God, and that
even self control that we've lacked and ourself, we can
reach into your spirit and draw out the fruit of

(27:08):
the Spirit. Lord, continue to manifest that fruit through us,
and help us to increase in demonstrating it and giving
it away to others. In Jesus's name, I pray for
peace upon everyone watching. Peace. Saturate your mind, saturate your body,
and those that need the ability of Christ for healing

(27:31):
become a partaker. First, I pray for healing for your body,
beginning with your joints, your body being relieved from pain.
I command all pain and demons of affliction to leave
as the peace of God and the healing of God
flows into the body of those that are praying with
me now in Jesus' name. Now, my name is Lance
