Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today on the whole connection. More from Bishop Harry Jackson,
And we're.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Going to take a little bit of a survey here.
Who are not in a place where they can just
start up and move from kind of a pleasant place
to just believing for more? They are right now in
a crisis. So what do we do with trying to
gain faith? Garner faith we were already under pressure? Does
(00:27):
that make any sense? So what happens if you had
like I did a few years ago, at diagnosis where
the doctor basically says you're aside from something major happening,
you got ten, fifteen percent, twenty percent chances of living,
you're diagnosed with cancer or there's some major surgery that
(00:49):
everyone says you're supposed to have. What do you do?
What do I do? Who are underpressure?
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Whatever the obstacles of pressures, we may be under God
still revealing his plan for our lives. Take a listen
to Bishop Jackson's personal testimony as we continue with his
message today, Faith under pressure, stay with us for more.
But before Bishop Hary gets started. Following the passing of
my mother and father in twenty eighteen and twenty twenty,
(01:17):
the Hope Connection will continue. The ministry that God gave
my parents, Bishop Harry R. Jackson and doctor Vivian M.
Jackson over forty years ago. Our daily mission remains the same.
Our anointing and conviction continue as we preach and teach
the word of God. Thank you for listening today and
I look forward to helping you grow in Christ.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
God is calling you to be part of His kingdom
building team. How can you look beyond what you see
to be a part of His Kingdom Team? This month,
The Hope Connection explores how to build strong faith while
guarding the hope and peace of God and changing circumstances
through Bishop Harry Jackson's message series Look Beyond. This five
message series Look Beyond, It's our gift to you to

(02:22):
today's message from Bishop Barry Jackson. Faith under pressure.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Well this morning, then we want to celebrate though what
the Lord is doing. And I was thinking about how
we had been coming to the end of a series
on faith and talking about what it means really to
look beyond the natural. But I thought to myself that
(02:51):
there are a number of folks, and we're going to
take a little bit of a survey here, who are
not in a place where they can just start up
up and move from kind of a pleasant place to
just believing for more. They are right now in a crisis.
So what do we do with trying to gain faith
(03:13):
garner faith? We were already under pressure? Does that make
any sense? So what happens if you had like I
did a few years ago at diagnosis where the doctor
basically says you're aside from something major happening, you got ten,
fifteen percent, twenty percent chances of living. You're diagnosed with
(03:35):
cancer or there's some major surgery that everyone says you're
supposed to have. What do you do? What do I do?
Who're under pressure? Now? We can become cynical when we
categorize certain people in certain streams and say those people
are the always blessed people, or those people are the
(03:56):
people who believing for all this money or health or
whatever but the real question is when your back is
against the wall, what do you do to make any sense?
So we got a lot of philosophy, a lot of theory.
We know, generally speaking, if you're here today, you have
some allegiance towards the scriptures. You believe somehow God is
(04:19):
able to do something for you. But there are a
lot of reasons why our faith doesn't kick in under pressure.
We're talking about what happens under pressure. This morning, I
got a call from some place and I counsel. I've
become father confessor to all these pastors, so it's likely
(04:41):
that Saturday or Sunday morning, if some crazy thing is happening.
I got a text about four point thirty in the
morning that said X y Z happen, And I could
have added just like I expect it. See, this person
is in a negative place. They're trying to battle through
to another dimension. They're hoping against hope that some stuff
(05:04):
will turn around. Can you all relate to what I'm saying?
But it ain't happened yet, And now they're crying out
right now, there's no confidence in them for them that
they can reach God. So they're crying out for some
kind of help, and they're saying, hey, they did this.
Some of you who are married may have hit one
of those load times that we did in our marriage.
(05:26):
My wife and I many many occasions where there was
seasons where stuff just wasn't right and we could have
gotten in all kinds of trouble. And who do we
cry out to when we know things aren't working?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Help? Now? So about four o'clock in the morning, I
was able to see this text and it was an
interesting thing or cry for help. And so I'm thinking
that this faith under pressure message will be helpful just
as a certain it is there anybody here that needs
a major, major breakthrough with regard to your physical health
(06:08):
right now? I mean, if God doesn't do something for
you right now, you have a major problem. I see
one hand lifting. Anybody else like that here today? Would
you lift up your hand? You've got a major issue.
We got a couple of hands. So I'm going to
submit to you that some of you who haven't raised
your hands, guess what you're doing. You're settling for the
(06:31):
difficulty you've got because you can work with it. And
it's all right. If you get a little medication, it's
all right. I can stay here if things don't get worse.
My doctor said, I'm doing all right if I am
in this place, because I at least got it halfway
under control. It's not under control. It ain't about really
(06:52):
that good. But you're settling because you don't expect or
believe that God can take you from the wall wounded
list to the victorious overcomers list. Several months before my
wife passed, I was praying and I was only extended fast.
I was asking God to raise her up. I thought,
(07:14):
if God, if what has to happen I've got to
do in my life. I need my wife totally healed.
I need her in a whole nother place. Secondly, I
also felt like, and I begin to discover it, I'm
doing all right, but I need to do better. Come on,
I have got a little bit of a diminished energy,
(07:36):
diminished focus. God, I need to be totally restored. What
was happening was very interesting, and I even had one
of my intercessor slash prophets talk to me about what
was going on in my life, and they began to say, Yes,
God wants to restore you and the Lord, can someone
(07:58):
get me a glass of water? Have nothing up here please.
And then the second thing is that God wants to
bring your wife into total victory. On eleven eleven, twenty seventeen,
a prophetic guy was praying for us, called me to
(08:20):
get my wife on the line, and he began to
describe something that he was seeing. He said that put
it over there, please, thank you. I think it's very
important that he began to describe what was going on,
and he said that I see you Vivian dancing before
the Lord. I see you totally restored. I see no pain,
(08:45):
nothing going on, but you just really enjoying that victory
in God. And brother Jackson, you're going to be totally
stored energy, all this kind of stuff. And what happened really,
this prayer warrior, this person was really seeing into the
(09:06):
future and he was seeing my wife in her eternal reward,
in the bosom of the Father, dancing before the Lord,
rejoicing in Jesus. How many know that's a better place
to be than where we are right now. Hey, Hey,
the rodden here and now does not compare to the future,
(09:30):
to the victory, to the dimension you and I are
going to be in someday, all right, So I believe
that If we are promoted, if we are moved forward
into Heaven, we have really finished our race. I mean,
if what we believe is true, if Heaven is a
real place, if what we're talking about is more than
(09:52):
just Christian religious rhetoric, then Heaven is better than Earth.
Come on, somebody, and then maybe when Jesus cried when
he was getting ready to resurrect Lazarus, he was not
crying because he missed his friend, but he was crying
because he was calling his friend back from the perfect
(10:12):
place of joy, rejoicing in peace, back down here where
all these problems and trials and tribulations are going on.
And Jesus knew, I'm calling you to a lower place,
a fighting place, a place of turmoil. But I'm gonna
do it because people need to see the supernatural power
(10:33):
of God. So nobody needs to commit suicide to go
to Heaven early. That's not what I'm talking about. But
I'm saying, if you really got the chance, if you
really could slip over on to the other side over there,
this life, Peter said, his joy unspeakable is full of glory.
(10:55):
But the glory that we experience here is nowhere near
the glory that we have in the manifest presence of God.
It's ultimate bliss, ultimate joy, ultimate purpose, ultimate meeting, ultimate connection,
ultimate reality. It's more than this, and we're made and created.
We came from that invisible realm into this earthly realm,
(11:19):
and we'll return into that glory and we'll spend eons
in the presence of the Living God.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
We'll rejoin today's message in a moment, but before we do,
there is a resource you'll want to get your hands on.
When life gets difficult. People often tell you to quote
have faith, but what does that really mean. The Hope
Connection's latest offer for you is a five part sermon
series called Look Beyond by Bishop Perry Jackson. In this series,
you'll discover how to move beyond positive thoughts into possessing
(11:53):
a living faith. Call one eighty eight eight seven seven

that need to be a part of God's family. And
when you give to the Hope Connection, Bishop Ayes five
part series, Look Beyond is our gift to you to

Now let's get back to more of today's message.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I'm looking forward to heaven, but while I'm here, I'm
believing that God's going to do some great things and
we need to learn how to turn some pressurized situations around.
So a few days ago, a few months ago, actually
maybe about six eight weeks ago, I felt like Lord
(12:56):
began to speak to me as I was praying one
day and says, you don't really believe that I am
restoring you. I'd just gone to the doctor head the
best health report that I had in actually years, and
a bunch of things that are going on. Well, yeah,
praise God. I started working out with a personal trainer
(13:20):
in about February, and the amount of weight other things
I'm doing is multiplied, and my strength, my endurance, my focus,
all of that is ratcheting up. But God said, there's
a dimension still of unbelief. You're still in this place
(13:41):
where you are fighting from some place you call normal.
But there's a new normal. I want to take you to.
It's a land of expectation. It's your Canaan land. Is
there's something you, like me, have not believed God for?
Is there something you're almost unready to deal with because
(14:05):
your expectation is ground bound? Or sit this way? You
hang out with the chickens. You need to be soaring
with the eagles. And so I felt like the Lord
was challenging me that what you're settling for is not
what I died to give you. What you're putting up
with is beneath my standard. What you're willing to go
(14:29):
through is not what I'm asking you to do. I
want to move you to a dimension of overcoming victory
that you can experience not because you earned it, but
because I died for it. Jesus shed his blood for it.
Are you listening to me today? Can anybody identify some
(14:51):
frontier that you're not yet engaged in believing God for
that you're letting the dogs, little dogs nip at your
heels and bark at the perimeter of your property. But
God says you are more than conquerors, and I've given
you a land that you are two inhabits. What's your
(15:13):
look with me? The second chronicle chapter sixteen. Today title
our message is faith under pressure. Faith under pressure. Today
we're going to talk about believing God around this physical
issue of healing. We're to talk about. Can we begin
to press in and say that mild case of arthritis
(15:38):
I need to deal with, or the family tendency to
have high blood sugar blood pressure I need to deal
with before it decides that at a certain age he's
going to kick in and try to take me out.
How many No, you cannot negotiate with the devil. You
can put him at bay for a moment, but when
(16:00):
you start fighting him, he never stopped fighting him. Rather,
he never forgets that you've been made and creating the
image of God. And his agenda is to cut your throats.
His agendas to literally assassinate you. The thief coming not
(16:21):
but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. In
other words, he'll steal anything that belongs to you so
he can pervert God's purposes. If he can't steal you,
turn you into a double agent. Have you who are
ordained for godly purpose to work against the purposes of God.
(16:42):
If he can't steal you, then he'll kill you. He
don't care nothing about you he's not caring none about
the truce, so he can kill you. He will do it.
I mean pastors, as I talk about in My Secret
Life of Father Confessor, I have people calling me from
other states and saying I'm a pastor. After they begin
(17:05):
to talk, I'm a pastor of five, seven, eight, ten
thousand people. I've this, and I've got that, and I've
got this issue to send this problem, and quite frankly,
I don't want to hear these people problems. No, no, no.
But ministry is serving someone else and being a lifeline
(17:25):
and deciding I'm going to help rescue because of God's kingdom,
God's divine purpose of someone else. But sometimes they wind
up committing ministerial suicide. I recently was talking to someone
who was in burnout and to burnout manifest in such
a way that they had lost, in my opinion, a
(17:46):
whole lot of spirituality. And we had totally burned out
stuff you normally wouldn't do. Your subject to come on now,
and you'll make bad choices. And I've talked to people
who are spiritual giants, have a track record having done
amazing things saying I'm gonna stop preaching. I'm gonna give up.
(18:09):
I'm gonna resign, I'm gonna turn around, I'm going back.
And so they're punch drunk. They've been in the ring
with the devil and the enemy has temporarily stunned them
and they need to have somebody grab them and shake
them and saying I'm not gonna let you die, not
(18:30):
on my watch. Stand up. So you're looking at a sentinel.
I'm a watchman and I'm watching out for me, but
I'm also watching out for you and for others who
are in challenging places. Praise God. What an amazing assignment.
(18:51):
One of the things that's been working in me helping
me get up out of the place that I was
in terms of this self centered grief that I was
going through, deep deep grieving has been God has begun
to send me. It's been supernatural to people who are
going through major crisis in their lives and to help them.
(19:17):
And the more I help them get perspective, guess what,
it helps me with my perspective. The more I serve
somebody else, the more I see that it's okay. A
few weeks ago, I was standing in the Saint Louis
Airport getting ready to go speak to a bunch of pastors,
and for the first time about a year, a joy
(19:37):
began to just jump up in my heart and spirit,
and I thought to myself, my goodness, I get paid
to do this. I get to go and talk to
a bunch of leaders. I get to share about the
things of God. I get to do this full time.
And guess what. Yes, I've lost my wife. Yes I've
(20:00):
lost some years. I'm not a spring chicken. But still
I started thinking, I'm still standing, I'm still alive, I'm healthy,
I'm whole, I'm healed, I'm anointed by the Most High God.
How he lou y'all, woah man, I felt like dancing
(20:25):
in the airport. How heylujah. The devil wants to tamp
down your joint. He wants to take away your expectation.
He wants you to feel like you are surrounded. When
we may sing a song a little bit later. This
is a song by Michael W. Smith. He says, this
is how I fight my battles. He says, it me
(20:48):
look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you. This
is how I fight my battles. Talking about praising God,
praising the Most High God who's in the ultimately in
charge of anything everything that pretaineth to me, our God.
His name is a strong tower until the rights just
run in and there say so faith under pressure. Second
(21:15):
Chronicles sixteen nine through thirteen says this, for the eyes
of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth,
to show himself strong in behalf of them whose hearts
is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly. Therefore
(21:36):
from henceforth thou shalt have wars. And then Aesa was
wroth with the seer. Let me stop there.
Speaker 3 (21:47):

one final thought for you today.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Therefore, from hensforth thou shalt have wars. And then Aesa
was wroth with the seer. Let me stop there. King
Asa began his ministry, his kingship in a time of
a massive move of God, where there is safety in
(23:05):
the land. Everything he asked for he got, favor was
upon him. And under time of pressure, when he thought
he was threatened, he went into the house of the
Lord and took all the silver and gold out of
God's house. You can read all this in Second Chance
of Chronicles sixteen. A little bit higher. You can read
(23:28):
the beginning of what ASA's reign was like in chapter fourteen,
a couple chapters ahead. But he goes and he gets
the articles that were meant to be used for worship
and to honor God, and he gives them, and he
thinks he's bartering with a Satanic representative. Like I already
(23:51):
told you, you can't barter with the devil. You can't
make a deal with the devil. That doesn't work, He'll
take everything you've got and then still keep asking for more.
He'll renegotiate the deal. Come on, somebody, and so you'll
wind up in a worse place than you've been by
trying to feel like, by carnal ability and carnal mastery
(24:11):
that somehow you can make the devil slow down. He
doesn't have quittin since you got to knock him straight
out and beat him down. And if you don't do that,
then he's going to rise up again and keep coming.
It's good at least to know the nature of our
interview before you go.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
If this message spoke to your heart today, we'd love
