Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hi, This is Tony Arriyomi, and welcome to my show
where I seek to equip every believer to rise up
to their kingdom identity as sons and daughters and to
occupy their spheres till Jesus comes join me in this
series called the Divine Blueprint, unveiling spiritual keys.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
To divine success. When opportunity comes knocking, most people miss
it because of their company. First Corinthian fifteen says, be
not deceived. God is not mord for bad company corrupts
(00:44):
good character. When you come into company that is lazy,
company that is slowful, company that loves you, it cares
about you. Listen, got I tell anyone? God told abrahams
you want to be blessed, and Abraham said, yes, what
did I'd say? Get out of your father's In other words,
you must be delivered of the company of opinions that
knew who you were, because if you go back there,
(01:07):
you'll live small, you'll think small, and you'll stay small.
Associate with people who make you uncomfortable, handle our the
people who's troop is where you want to be alive.
You see, if you're not expanded around somebody, if you're
comfortable around the people you're around. You're not growing. You
(01:28):
must be expanded in the company of people who are
living a level of faith that attracts things into their life,
and find out how to imitate their fence, imitate those
who through faith in error the promises of God. Don't
think small, don't stay small. Don't think, oh, I'm in
the Philippines. Everybody struggles. That is a mindset. The Bible
(01:50):
says Isaac went into a famine land, and Isaac sowed
in that land and in the same year reached one
hundred fault. Isaac can go to any country with the
low GDP and still figure out how he's gonna prosper
in that low economy play, because as far as Isaac
is concerned, his economy is the Lord. Very importantly, you
(02:12):
understand this. Those of you who are missionaries don't get
into the missionary mindset. The missionary mindset is We're gonna
barely get by. We're gonna live on hinds, beans and
cold suit and God's gonna ultimately make a way. No
way are we raising that kind of tired missionary that
comes back thirty years later with a tropical disease, crying
(02:33):
out saying, well, I suffer to Jesus, that's not what
we're doing here, folks. The apostolic weight is supposed to
hit the ground, and the follow ground is broken. When
apostolic weight hits a place, the territory breaks open. As
far as I'm concerned, every country I go into the
land must open up. Why because of I know the
(02:55):
grace that rest up on my life. It is not missionary.
It's apple stolic. It's a bulldozer. You are a full dozer.
You carry a bulldozer anointing where the soul of your
feet tread, the ground breaks in front of you, where
other people are going through pelvity like job. You say
there's a lifting up. It's not your portion. It's not
(03:19):
your portion to struggle like this struggle. It's not your
portion to suffer like they suffer. Your God shall supply
all your needs according to his riches, not the riches
of the Philippines, not the riches of Columbia, not the
riches of Nigeria, his riches in glory. He's gonna make
your feet to land in pleasant places. The rock will
pour out for your streams of all. I don't hear
(03:40):
you saying amen. I'm blessing you right now. You better
grab a hole otherwise out of your amen. This is
God's word, and you're gonna stop believing it and living
in the economy of God's word, and stop living in
the economy of your circumstances in your country. Not where
(04:00):
your supply comes from. Your supply comes from the Lord.
So whatever people say we have we're having problems, I say,
I'm not having problems. I'm sorry. There's no problems in God.
The joy of the Lord is my strength. I listen.
You gotta learn how to encourage yourself, and strong leaders
have their own generator. Strong leaders stop waiting for people
(04:22):
to pick you up. Let me tell you something. Depressed
you may be, but get up, arise, speak to yourself.
Stop waiting for somebody to prophesie to you. Propheside to yourself.
So I'm not a prophetic word for a long time,
and you, with your mouth, you're a profit the process
to everybody else. Prophesie to yourself. Speak about your destiny,
(04:43):
say good things about what God has built on the
inside of you. Look what the Bible says about David.
I want to I want to show you this and listen,
I'm ain't gonna go here today. I don't even know
how we got here. But look at first Sunmuel, chapter thirty.
I want to paint a story figure. Now, it happened
when David and his memory in zig Lad on the
(05:04):
third day that the Amalachas had invaded the south and
zig Land and attacked sorry and zig Lack attacked and
burnt it with fire, and had taken captive the woman
and those who were there, from small to great. They
did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went
their way. So David and his men came to the city,
and there it was burned with fire, and their wines,
(05:27):
their sons, their daughters were captive. Then David and the
people who were with him lifted up their voices and
wept until they had no more power to weep. And
David's two wives here know him, the Jesra Light and Abigail,
the widow of Nabao the Kamlike, had been taken captive.
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of
(05:49):
stoning him because the soul of all the people was Greef.
In other words, can you imagine can you imagine everybody's weeping?
Every art is crying, and then you see me weeping
as well. Can you imagine? Can you imagine just everybody's weeping.
(06:10):
I remember when me old Michelle went through the most
terrific thing that the place that were injured on me
came and knocked it down. They called me. They were like, oh,
we're devastated. A lusum said, why are you weeping? Do
you know that God's gonna give you a better place?
Are you kidding me? That's what I said. That'sn't go
get off a man going with toys? Come on, thank God,
(06:31):
Look where they are now? Are you kidding me? Look
what the Lord does when you when you stop, you
see you're gonna be a leader. You gotta stop being
a thermometer and stop being a firmostat, stop setting people's climate.
By the time people are done with you, they should
be rejoicing. You shouldn't be sitting down like Job's friends
and come under the spirit of depression on Jove and
(06:53):
just sit there. You've got to be like a You
will become like a bursting bent and say, are you
kidding me? You mean this God reserved card? Do that?
This is what I love? What my friends say? What
God cannot be does not exist Jesus. That means there's nothing.
There's nothing that God can't do. What he can't do,
well yet to find it existing. So you've gotta learn
(07:14):
to rejoice in this God. He's gonna learn to make
the joy of the Lord your strength, gonna learn to
have a backup generator. People have been taken captive, everything
is gone. Oh my goodness, what does a leader do forwards? Weep?
Leaders cannot weep with those that are weeping? What did
David do? The people thought, how is our leader crying?
(07:37):
How is our leader weeping? Leaders should not be weeping
whilst where we've been? The Bible says, but David encouraged
himself in the Lord. That means go into your prayer room,
praise the Lord and celebrate him, and don't come out
until you have a solution. M Leaders have got to
(07:57):
learn how to rejoice in all things, whether in lack
or You've got to learn how to rejoice. Listen, Can
I tell you none of you will know when I'm depressed.
I can be depressed one minute, but when I go
into prayer, I come out praising God all of a sudden.
So what happened you are side a second and go listen.
I've just come out from the mountain with Lord, and
it's good up there. The joy of the Lord is
(08:18):
our strength. That is the leadership anointing. You must carry
solution on your lips, must be solutioned. You must know
what to do when you don't know what to do. Listen,
there's some of you who have been in depression three years,
three years, four years. Can't shake it. Nobody's going to
shake it from you. You must shake it from yourself.
At this point in your journey, there was a point
(08:41):
where Jesus could deliver Peter. There's a point where Peter
was drowning and Jesus would lift him out of the water.
There's a point where Jesus would help Peter out of
every situation he was in. But then there was one
point where Jesus said, now Satan's asked for you, but
I pray for you this time. I can't pray you out,
because if I keep praying you out, I'm gonna have
(09:02):
to keep rescuing you. This time, I pray that when
you've been restored, you have new muscles to strengthen. The
brother leadership does not shy away from adversity. Leadership sees
adversity as a time to grow and develop. So from
(09:23):
now on, I don't want leadership meetings to have problems
and things we cannot do. That's not what we're here
to hear. We're not here to talk about the impossibility.
We're not here to say it's not tied. If God
says it's time, then we on Earth must make ourselves ready.
When it came time for even the Messiah to be born,
they looked and said, there's no room for him. There's
(09:45):
no stable, there's no hotel, but there's a place out back.
Because when Jesus is ready, it doesn't matter if Earth
is not prepared. You see, when Richard Branson was asked
how did you achieve so much success? This is what
he said. Listen to this. He said, well, life offers
you an opportunity that you don't know how to do it.
Take the opportunity and figure it out on the way Jesus.
(10:11):
These are people who did not sit down to study
and then say okay, God, I'm ready and then the
train has gone. These are people who say, yep, I
can do it, and that by the time they hopped
on the play and by the time they hopped in
the misery field, and by the time they started the crusade,
they'll figure out, how are we gonna do this? I
tell you I've never done a crusade in my life,
(10:31):
but this year we've done for Tell me, said, well,
how did you do it? I took the opportunity and
I figured it out on the way. Do you know
many years ago RICKTV? What was rick TV? It was
told me a rived me tried to figure out how
to use a camera through YouTube editing my own videos.
I did YouTube tutorials. God to built me a studio.
I said, okay, I built them a studio from YouTube videos.
(10:53):
I figured it out on the way. Are you kidding me?
Back in the day when we started our first church,
we didn't have a worship team. I said, okay, God,
that means you're going to I prayed every day, God
tell the worship team. Nobody came. God tell a keyboardist.
Nobody came. I said, okay, God, that means you're going
to teach me how to play the keyboard, and saying
do you know that year I became the worship team
and the possible church. No why Because leaders always find
(11:17):
a way leaders always find a way. I think God
for small beginnings, because small beginnings have developed capacity. Don't
shy away from development. Don't say I can't. When an
opportunity comes knocking that you're not qualified for, listen, be
(11:38):
wise and say yes and figure it out on the way.
Don't miss opportunity. Don't miss seasons. Don't let depression make
you miss seasons. Don't let despair make you miss Be
like Naomi and learn to grieve on the dough when
(11:59):
the opportunity comes knocking. Grief while you're going. You know
you can. You don't have to sit down to grief.
Do you know? Naomi didn't have to find a room,
get some popcorn, get some hogging dolls. I scream and
sit down and watch Bridget Jones's diary for months to grieve.
She was like, Hey, if I'm gonna be depressed, I'm
gonna be depressed on my feet. I'm gonna be if
I'm gonna come on now, help metricius. She said, if
(12:21):
I'm gonna greet, if I'm gonna be depressed or chronically
depressed and I've lost everything, I might as well do
it on the go. I might as well do it
while I'm moving because there's an opportunity on the other
side that I cannot let my grief disqualify me from
my opportunity. Let's let's finish with one final thing. I
(12:46):
believe that we can easily be like this man if
he downstairs, way too down. I believe we can easily
be like the man in John chapter five. In John
chapter five, the Bible says that in verse two, now
(13:07):
there is in Jerusalem by the sheet date of pool,
which is cold. In Hebrew Bethesda by the way, which
means the House of Grace having five porches, five is
the symbol of grace. Now look at this, I understand this.
In this what shocks me is that in the House
of Grace there is a multitude of sick people, blinded people,
(13:33):
lame people, halt and paralyze people waiting for the movie,
and the horses. In other words, look at this, In
the House of Grace, there's lame people. Can I explain
something to you? You know, some people say, how do
I know when it's time to move on from my
church when it's called grace on the door? But Grace
isn't operating in the house. But he could help me
(13:58):
treat this today. Excuse me, you're in a house where
everybody's laying. CAI tell you something. If you're in a
house where everybody's laying, you will conform to the environment
of their laneness. If you're around people who you look
at them and you you go, wow, look how much
they have, you're missing it. You should be saying, not
(14:22):
how much they have, how much did they give. You've
got to know somebody, see before you start looking at
their harvests. You gotta sit down though, how much of
these people get? What did they sacrifice to steps be
where they are today? What did they let go of
to step into the position that they're stepping into this
(14:43):
day and age. Look what the Bible says, lame people
were all there waiting for the moving of the water.
For an angel came down at a certain time to the
poor and stirred up the water. Then whoever stepped in
first at the stirring of the water was made well
of whatever disease they had. Our certain man was there
with an infirmity for thirty eight years. Forty, by the way,
(15:05):
is the number of delay. Forty is the number of delay.
So the turnatis are wandered forty years forty is the
symbol of delay. This man is two years away from
chronic delay, from stepping into a season of constant missed opportunities.
In other words, an opportunity would come, an angel would come,
(15:28):
an angel would touch the water. Whoever stepped into the
water at that time would be healed. But there was
a man who was sitting there for thirty eight years
of his life. Excuse me, thirty eighty years of missed opportunity,
(15:48):
thirty eight years city at the same pool, missing the
same opportunity. Can I tell you something? There's opportunities for marriage.
The animal kingdom understands mate season ah in cool sha
(16:08):
taala mohanda, there's opportunity. What if in the opportunity of
the season for marriage, you're not even doing the right
things and that opportunity because you're hanging around laying people
single people were just like you. Could I tell you,
Ruth knew something. If I'm gonna get married, I need
to at least associate with somebody who's been there. I've
cant hang around with people like Altho who just a
(16:29):
mile all in in the same money and it's all
that will break your heart, every single one and they
all doubted people. They're all dirty, dead right dogs. No, no,
Bruce understood you could You've only brought me so far.
Thank you for the Okay magazines, thank you for the
gossip sessions, thank you for the gist. But now I'm
about to move on to my next place of destiny.
(16:50):
Now got to move on to my next place purpose charity.
In every system of the world, the bombs is, even
the bird discerns her. I'm an opportunity. Even the bird
knows opportunity. Because people we pray about opportunity, that opportunity
comes and we pray about it. Can you, I'm telling you,
(17:13):
I call it pray crastination. That's what I call it. Praycrastination.
Procrastination is when you pray, off, give me a spiritual father,
don't give me a spiritual father, don't give me a
spiritual father. And God sends you to Elijah. The Elijah
comes and now Elisia sees Elijah in those counties. Happens
Spiritual Father, God, this happens, push Father in a calabas
son to Mahia. God, please confirm it. And by the
(17:34):
time you don't ask him for confirmation, Elijah's gone to
Gilgal Bethel, Gentleman and Jericho, and you've missed your double portion.
You pray about opportunity. Opportunity comes, you pray about it.
That's how you miss opportunity. You They are things you
should not pray about. There are things you should discern,
There are things you should just go the opportunity we've
(17:56):
been praying for. That's the moment we've been believing God
for It's hip. Wait, jump on it. But here's what
we do because of fear. When the opportunity finally comes,
we pray, crastinate. Somebody tells you, oh, hey, can you
preach this Sunday? Ah, you've been pray here's God. Make
me a servant God, let me serve you. Somebody come, hey,
can you preach your send? Ah? A preaching your judge?
(18:18):
How many people? Two hundreds? Oh, two hundred people? Yay? Wow? WHOA.
I don't think I can do that today. I'm not ready.
But I'll be ready one day and I'll do it.
That's how you miss opportunity. Say yes and figure it
out on the way. Don't let fear rob you of opportunity.
(18:39):
Two things rob you of opportunity number one fear number two. Friends,
look at this people's friends. This people friends were all
lame like this man, all halt like this man. Can
I tell you something? If you're poor, it's because you
have poor company. Can I tell you something. I'm not
(19:00):
gonna get many amens on this wanted If your poor
because you're poor company, fire your poor friends. I'll tell
you want to be you want to you want to
be wealthy, You've got to associate with wealthy people. You
want to be poor, Just stay with the same poor people.
It's that simple, because your company determines what you come into.
(19:26):
So of us is bad company correct corrupts good character.
First quacking is fifteen thirty three. But good company corrects
bad character when you can have us, when you can
find the company. That's why you want to be Like
this man is lame and he's hanging around people who
will lave. How can you walk if you're around people
(19:47):
who will live? And you realize it's not if it's
not his legs that cripple here, it's his company that's
crippling here. His legs are what makes him crippled. It's
his company that and crippled. This man is crippled because
he's hanging around with crippled company. He's laying because he's
hung around with laying people. And the Bible says when
(20:10):
Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had
already been in that condition a long time, that means
that he outstained his season. Opportunity came knocking, and he
missed it. Jesus said to him, sir, do you want
to get better? And here lies the question as to
(20:32):
why most of us miss opportunity, Because if we're really
willing to mind deep into the dark crevice of our hearts,
we will realize that most of us, truly underlying us
is the fear. And fear says, don't get better. Faar says,
(21:01):
stay here, can I tell you something? Fear, explain something
to you. The reason the reason you don't have what
you want is because you don't want what you have.
Fear says, live live, live, mediocre. Fear it always comes
(21:24):
to say, go back to Egypt. Please, go back to
your house, Go back to the bills that you were
paying that were manageable. Go back to the go back
to the family that was comfortable and everybody you knew,
Go back to the faces that you used to recognize.
Fear will come go, Wow, don't you miss those people?
Don't you long for those people? Don't you long for
(21:44):
the comforts of Egypt, the comforts of slavery. Fear. Fear
doesn't want to get better because if fear gets better,
if you get better, you you have a new fear.
And it's like the fear of failure is the fear
of success. Success is more scary than failure. Two of
(22:09):
the biggest problems in the world. And I want to
challenge you that. I want to ask you this question,
which is more problematic, having too much money or not
having enough? Can I tell you something, Having too much
money is just as bad as not having enough money.
(22:31):
But let me tell you something I've lived. I've spent
time with wealthy people. I've been to their houses, I've
set around their kids. I've seen some of the most
chronically depressed kids in the world. I've seen some things.
I've seen parents on cocaine who are just trying to
get by. Because you have to realize, having too much
money can actually be just as as ruinous. If it's
(22:56):
not the blessing of the Lord, making rich and adding
no sorrow, it can actually at sorrow. It's why. A
famous poet called puff Daddy made a song with another
famous poet called Biggie called more Money, More problems, because
because really of the truth, having too much money is
a problem, Having not enough is a problem. You asked,
(23:19):
You asked, Uh, you look at our accounts. Carol runs
our accounts. She'll come back to me and sometimes she'll go,
we've got we've got a problem. I said, what's the problem?
She said, We've got too much money. It's the problem.
Can I tell you why it's a problem? Because your
taxes are forty? Is it forty when you have too
much money's for? Yeah? Yeah, that's almost that's almost half
(23:43):
your income. Drank swallowed, Yes, So two big problems. Not enough,
too much. Until we've got to learn this thing. This
man doesn't want to get better because on one side
he's dealing with the fear of failure. On the other side,
of success, he's dealing with the fear of success. So
(24:05):
let me tell you something. This man is I'm blowing anywhere.
If he wanted to get better, he could have sat
in that pool for a year. He didn't need to
get in, he could have just stayed there. He's not
going anywhere we sit on the edge of the pool.
But usually you know, people who don't want to get
better by their excuses. Follow us find a thousand excuses,
(24:27):
where leaders find a thousand words. And if you're going
to come into leadership annoy eating, you must have a
mental mechanism for a thousand ways over a thousand excuses.
This thing called work about tell me okay, then I'm
(24:49):
going to say to you, okay, then what does work? Well,
I haven't thought that far. Then you're not a leader
because the leader cannot just come and say this doesn't work.
You gotta tell me what does work. That's the true
power of the leadership annointing. That's the true power of
the leadership annointing. The true power of the leadership annointing
(25:09):
will say this is what we can do, this is
how we can fix us, this is what works. So
becoming and effective in leader is about the stewarding of
your emotions. It's about the choosing of your friends and
your feeling. Choose your feelings, choose your friends be angry
(25:30):
and sin not. Don't say don't be angry. Grieve with
them that grief. At the end of the grief, give
them beauty for ashes. The aill of joy for the
spirit of heaviness. Go into atmospheres, determine that you're not
just going to join it, you're going to change it,
and watch God lifts you to a person of solutions
(25:52):
as you rise in your leadership anointing. Thanks for tuning in.
