Speaker 1 (00:02):
What happens usually is men punk out during this time,
leave the wife. She said, pay to the ask. Guess
what though, after I'm over menopause, I go get myself
some young okay, because the woman is over it and
she goes back and she starts dating some young thing,
and the man stuck with some dumb dumb then he's
got to school again. We got it, okay, So I

(00:23):
had to stop and make sure that you're present.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
To that facts right now.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I'm kind of riled up about it.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
It's good that we're recording this because sometimes I go
you and this is a good good So.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Listen, I'm concerned about it. I don't want you to
fall into the trap of some simpleton that leaves his
wife is menopause because she's fifty five and she's lost
her swag. I know you're not that you're smarter than that,
but I.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Just got to check it threat. You're saying you're smarter
than that, and you're saying like smiley, giggly, But see,
people aren't catching the.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Underlining threat scorpio undertone the threat of that. No, it's okay,
we're good.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Yes, yes, hello, Hello, we are back We're back.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Wrapper Ports Reality. My name is Michael.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Rap Aport's Reality, the podcast where me and Michael Rapport
and my wife Kevy Rapport discuss all things reality TV,
popular culture, and a lot of things, but not all
things from our relationship. Rapports Reality. Coming to the end
of twenty twenty four.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Wow, that happened fast.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Twenty twenty four was a zipper really really really fast,
quite fast.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
When you get older, things just speed up. You know,
remember the summers that were endless when we.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Were kids, because also you're waiting to you don't have
control when you're a kid, You're like you're waiting to
get out of class, right, wait, go.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Back to school at the end of the summer. Everything
feels like I don't know why I just went.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Back to Like so much of your life is three
thirty When it's three third and you're looking at that
fucking clock.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, that was so much of my childhood, Like, okay,
eighteen minutes left in the class.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I was the same, babe. I was looking at that clock.
My almost two thirty five.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I want to get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Can wait?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Ring? That bell eight ring, that bell ring. I want
to leave, I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, the year has gone by so fast. It's not
like we're waiting for a bell to ring. No, thank god,
but you know it's fast and uh.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Fast and furious.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Twenty twenty five is coming.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Twenty twenty five is coming, and the twenty twenty three
happiest day of the year, our wedding anniversary is coming
up soon.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
December twenty third.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
December twenty third, the day where the world stops and
pays homage to us as a couple rock ports reality.
We missed last week, but we are back like we
never left. So much to discuss. I had a great
trip in Los Angeles to La went to La which
I got to tell you, babe, not much has change

(03:13):
in La.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I know you said, yeah, I don't miss it. That's
I mean. I didn't. I didn't go because I just
have no desire.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I didn't miss it either.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I don't Alan were in Paris. I just didn't have
I didn't have any reason to go with you.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Sorry, Yeah, but it was a good trip.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I did an episode of this podcast called the Viali Files.
Val I don't I think his name is Villally.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I think it's Nick Veil.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
No, it's not Vail.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
I think it's the asylon on the end. No, Nick Vially,
I've never heard him say his name.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Maybe it's Nick Veil. I'm popular podcast.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I loved the podcast, very popular. Actually, you didn't tell
me you were doing. I was so surprised. I was like,
very proud. It's a big, big podcast. And I was
a fan of his when he was on the Bachelor.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
And that's one of the things that I didn't know.
Now we watched him on the Bachelor. Yes, he was
the pilot and he was all in the valley. Yeah,
and his podcast shoots you know, oh yeah. However, the
correlation between the two.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
When did it hit you?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
When we were.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
About forty minutes into the Pockets and he was like, real, yeah,
because I was like, I don't like to get behind
the scenes, and I don't like to know how the
cake is baked, and I don't like to know how
the song.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
And he was like, well, you know, because I did
a reality show. And I was like you did, and
he was like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Babe, half the time, you're so bad. Everybody just needs
to know that my husband is so busy and will
says yes more than he says no, and half the
time you don't even know where the fuck you are.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Literally, show was rare.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You didn't know he was the Bachelor No Clue Club.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Until he said it, and then that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
There was that moment where he's like, oh shit, he
didn't know that, but I knew about the podcast.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I know, but like it's important that after he was
a bachelor, that's what he started doing and he became
very successful at it. And by the way, he's so
straightforward in the podcast. That's another side. But the fact
that you were there and then you probably said me
and my wife watched it, and he was probably like, right,
you didn't even know that I was on it.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, well we didn't go further, okay, but yeah, I
didn't know that. He brought it up during the podcast.
It's a very good pun because it's him and his
wife and then he's got like a whole operation. There's
like millions and a whole thing. And I had a
good time doing it. And one of the things that
came up when I was doing his podcast is him

(05:28):
and his wife the night before were at the much
discussed Kathy Hilton.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Christmas Part oh no way. I said, oh shit, I'm.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
So lucky now.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I would have would tell it for that, See I
would I would me too, I would have I would
have went to that.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
How could we get an invite for that?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
We can get an invite because they want to make
things right with us, because yes, Kathy Hilton wants to
make things I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Think she cares the babe.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I pretty clear that I would give.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Anything to go to a Kathy Hilton Christmas party.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I mean, they told me everybody was there.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
It seemed like I was just watching clips on my
phone just now and I was like, what.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Salt Lake City cast? It was just sprinkled with reality
stars and they got freak out. It would have been
fun for us, It would have been fun for DJ
James Kennedy was there, and then we'll get into the
alleged allegations against DJ James Kenny. But I said to
Nick and his wife, I can't remember. She's very sweet,
very funny too. Yeah, she is funny and she was

(06:27):
very good.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
I was like, fuck, man, I would have. I wanted
to go.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
And wait, did they did they stay a long time?
Did they say they were there all night and they
had a great time.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
And this is their business.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
I know what they say, Like did they give you
any insights Goop?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Or they were just telling me about James Kennedy, he said,
And he said it on the pocket. And this was
before the alleged allegations came out, but he said on
the podcast that he saw James Kennedy snap at his
friend assistant.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
He said, he hold my.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Drink or holdness. It may not have been a drink. Yeah,
it may not have been a drink.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
And he was like when he was seeing that, he
was like seeing something. He was like, oh shit, I'm
seeing something I shouldn't be seen.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Yeah, I could tell that's there, yes, yeah, and he's
on edge.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
But but other than that, we were just talking about
like who was there, Like they were showing me pictures
like she had a picture. His wife showed me a
picture of like Bronwyn and Mary. I said, you met
Mary Kazers, like you met her in.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
The flesh and she was like that.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I was like, oh shit, that's crazy because Mary Cosby's
like almost like an alien totally like a drone.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah, like I saw yeah, ye a drone over of
set Lake City.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah. Sure, So but it was cooling.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Then I said, you know, they wanted to make peace
Kathy Hilton's team because I had made the much controversial
comment that I didn't think Kathy Dorry was always hunky dory,
like meaning like.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
There was what happens.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
I've said this, and nor do I think anybody should
be hunky dory? Twenty four to seven agreed, And I
don't think that they like that because I think they
want her persona to beat one hundred percent hungry?

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Can we say they? Are we talking about Kathy Hilton's eye.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I then invites her parties and Kathy wanted to have
us over for lunch.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Like, I got it.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Are you being serious?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I'm totally being serious.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I'm totally When we were at Bravo Con, they were like,
you know, Kathy wants to meet you. Yes, And I
have another friend who hit me up when she had
asked me about, you know, coming to meet her, and
she's so sweet and you're you're misunderstanding, and I was like,
I'm not misunderstanding anything. I think she's great. I just
don't think that she is always sweet and loving.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Nor am I nor am I?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
No one is No one's perfect, but I mean, you're
we're also specifically talking about that last season on the
Housewives of Beverly Hills when she's with Kyle and she
says Kyle or you know, she gives her the look
like don't go there.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
She says, Kyle, Kyle, Right.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
But I mean she's a little mommy Deers in that way.
And I said, you needed to watch her in Paris
Hilton on her daughter's reality show, I don't know the
name of it, Paris.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Was she scary on that?

Speaker 3 (09:07):
No.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
A couple of times she's just a matriarch, you know,
like a couple of times you're like, I can see,
like when she talks about when Paris was talking about
not wanting to have gone to the boarding school, and
it's like a touchy subject that her mom and dad
sent her there. There's ways where she is icy cold
when it comes to the emotions of allowing her daughter
to fully express what that was like, because she's kind

(09:28):
of old school, ye like, you know what I mean,
kids are to be seen, not her like that kind
of shit.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Like she's the hardcore I have no problem with that.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
But she's also very also you can see Paris got
her funny, quirky little girl's side. It's a shtick. It's
like a funny thing. You know. She's a tremendous sense
of humor. So I could see all those sides from her.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
I can too, and I appreciate all those sides.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I just acknowledge that what we saw that season with Lisa,
Renna and Kyle was a little frightening.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Right, you're right, you're right about that's a lot of stuff.
Oh hunky Dory, Right.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I agree, nobody should be hunky Dory twenty four.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
So I can't believe. I don't think you ever told
me that we could go meet. Yes, yes, let's make
that happen. Yes, I love her.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
She's queen.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
She's queen.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Okay, I'm gonna say she's not queen.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I know, but she is a lot of the people
on reality TVs they take everything very seriously when you
say it, yes, because it is their real life and
I want you to get to know them. Like it's tricky.
It's a fine line to be on a reality show
and be a person in real life and go like
Michael's misunderstanding me, or this podcast is saying this is
not true. I think in general, they're not a character

(10:36):
in a movie.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
So I totally agree and I have no problem and
I would love an invite.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Maybe we'll have brunch or lunch.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I wonder if she does the Christmas this year is
through direct TV Kathy's Christmas, but usually she has it
at her house and it's like a coveted invite.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
There's probably two parties.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Wait.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I have a friend that got invited and with a
friend and said it was so fun, like incredibly fun,
well decorated like it's supposed to be. You know, a ticket.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Okay, Well, well yes, and if Kath, if you want
to make things right, because I will say and I
always am surprised when I speak on reality TV people listen.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
If Hutton of Reality TV, I think because you did
coin the phrase real men wear Bravo.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I watch Bravo watch Real Housewives.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
No, you said real men watch Bravo.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
No, I said real men watch Real Housewives, and you
came up with it for me.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
And then I said, I know, but I thought it
was because they actually made T shirts out of it.
But I think the T shirts are real men watch Bravo.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
We have to talk about James DJ.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
James Kennedy alleged allegations of domestic abuse.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
That's pretty scary.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I don't know if it is Ali.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah, I'm sure that's I think that's still his girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Yes, and somebody she didn't call the cop. Somebody witnessed
it and called the cops. And at first it was
like deny, deny, deny, And now she's I don't know
what's happening.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I truly she's denying it.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
She said that they were.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yeah, that it was a misunderstanding. That's what That's what
was said first. But now I'm starting based on one
of Ali's posts. She's taking time and she wants her privacy.
Please respect the privacy. I'm thinking hmm. And then of
course Kristen Doty came out and she said a couple
of things, you know, like sort of like I told you.
And remember she did DJ before.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
He was a djhit on our door, yes, remember.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
And then what's your name? Uh, Bambey Eyed? Who's Bamby Eyed?
Raquel a camera? She came out and said made a
comment about it also, so you.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Know, I mean they all had a you know, it
was rough going there. There was a lot of tumultuous
uh dealings with these girls that he was stating. I
mean Kristen also did slap them.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yes, yes, I could see silence play around with I
don't mine, I don't come in anything about.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Nobody needs to be abused hands keep your hands in
your pockets.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yes, So we're hoping that DJ James Kennedy is.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Thats so sweet. Not that I'm saying like would she
say what did she say to deserve it? I'm not
saying that at all, But I just don't see that
being a dynamic, like because she's a little bit evolved,
I guess, or what she says. How she came off
on television doing astrology. She kind of like she's was
so good at astrology. I would think she could see
that coming, like the full moon's coming. By the way,

(13:46):
I think I forgot to tell you. I think when
you freaked out about not getting all your camera quit
what right?

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Something was? It was?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
It was a full moon. I swear I forgot to
tell you. I looked out how I was like, holy shit,
I mean it was pretty heavy because.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Dean also said he had some like technical issues.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yeah, we could just say we had some lighting and
camera equipment that I got that I was very excited about,
and I was trying to set it up myself, and
then Babe came in and Babe was trying to help
me set it up. Yeah, and it didn't turn out well,
let's just say it didn't go well.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
It didn't go well.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
I mean for every one of them, any worse.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
No, but for everybody involved. I mean, at one point
I did say to you, you're not a fucking gaffer,
which that should give you, guys, an indication of how
that was.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
And I said, I am a you are. I had
to put lights together.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Never before. I mean, guys, he was sitting in his
office with all this equipment on the floor, I mean
screws and those little mini screwdrivers that come with something
that you're building, boxes and boxes, and it looked like
a disaster. And like a good wife, I thought, because
I'm very good at putting things together, you know, I
grew with mom and I'm patient, so I could actually
figure out anything. I'm not even tooting my own horn.

(15:00):
It's a survival mechanism. But so I get in there
thinking that I'm helping you, and it was just this
was not good.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
It went from bad to worser.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
It was funny, but we've turned it around and I
will say.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
This though, do yourself a favorite, Ladies and gentlemen, if
you're ever buying any It wasn't even expensive, but do
not buy things that need possible customer support. Customer support
from Amazon, Yes, I agree, I saw that Amazon.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
No, there's a lot of things you should buy. But again,
like I said to you, I was in the city
and you got a phone case from Amazon. And I
opened the bag.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
And you got that from TikTok? Is it even worse? Worse?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
It smelled like weed. I mean the bag. I opened
it up, it was like, might as well puff a
fucking smoke should have come out of it?

Speaker 2 (15:49):
You know what's fucked up?

Speaker 1 (15:50):
And I'm like, what weedhead has a side job of?
Like probably I mean, not to get really weird, but
like stolen goods and weed smoking that you sent it
to you. I don't know where you got that case from,
but case I smelled the case. It smelled like weed.
Like you wouldn't believe.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
I will tell you that I had to throw that
case out because I have ordered two things for my
phone sixteen.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Max Pro Side Pro. Yes, I do have a Max Pro.
I have a Max Pro.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
You have a Plus.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
No, I have a max Pro you're ordering. I ordered sixteen.
It doesn't matter. This is silly.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
I just went to goodwill.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
By the way, hey talk about but this is all.
This is all what you just said full moons and yes,
uh what.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Retrogrades. And by the way, I think we're in a retrograd.
I'm pretty sure something and full moon and so I
don't know when the fight between off of you. Back
to Ali and d I think that if something was
in the air, she would know first. I'm really really
hoping it wasn't. Nothing happened and it was. I mean,
he doesn't drink anymore, So I don't know. If there's

(16:58):
no hope, we hope, I don't know. Let's just pray
for the bass for him. We love him very much
and we're always rooting for him and her. By the way,
I met her at Bravo Khan and I.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Just helped her.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
She's so adorable and sweet and kind and like present
and she's a lovely girl. So I really hope they're
not having these problems. If they are, they're too young
to live together, and they got a back up because
this is dangerous. If that happened, it could go really south.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yes, yes, anyway. So that was my trip to La.
That was the Viale frollies or veil.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
It's not veil.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
I don't know. Let's just say I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Good time on the fucking podcast.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
You had a good time. Has it out yet?

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Oh yeah? It cool? Oh yeah, yeah good?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
I did you send me one clip? And that's it.
I don't know much about it. So while you were
gone in La, I got my little touch up on
my face. And I know you keep looking at me
like I've like did a deep dive, but I didn't.
I just got botox, and I've been using a new product,
but a couple of new products. You've even tried the
creams out. And I think you're saying you I look different.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
I know you look great, but you don't look any different.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
I just got a little touch up on my neck
both top.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
People could see your skin in real life, if people
could see your full like your naked body in real.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Life, if everybody could my face, your whole thing. You
don't need anything, thank you, babe.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I do. I do need a little something. I'm overweight.
I'm doing something about that. I'm doing I'm doing a
little something about that that requires a needle, which I'm
not happy about. I'm very nauseous, and I could see
why women are that are on ozempic don't get skinny.
They get way too skinny because it makes you want
to vomit and it makes food disgusting. So I don't
think I'll be able to stay on this. I've only

(18:39):
done one shot of the ozembic.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Are you are you coming out and saying that you why?

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Why would I not tell that?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
All right, let's talk about it like I wasn't going
to say anything because I didn't know if we were
You're actually going to say it?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Did you just decide that in the moment?

Speaker 1 (18:51):
I think, so okay, because I don't want to talk
about like we were. I was gonna say while you
were in LA, like I'm going around about way and
well you I got a little botox. See my neck,
how smooth it is. I got the I forget what
these bands are called when you go, I got those done.
I got you know, a little touch up. Okay. But
then I saw Brandy Granville's Glanville Glanville on Twitter something

(19:16):
and somebody says because she had fillers, it deflated too
much face for something. I don't know, but it stopped
me in my tracks. I mean, I'll take that little
ozembic needle and the little bowtox. I will stop it all.
If it's something bad could happen like this, I'm.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Terrified just to just to bring everybody up to speed.
And I'm sure I feel I think everybody knows. I
feel like with this.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Podcast, it's such a specific discussion that I don't need
to bring everybody up to speed now, but just to
bring everybody up to speed, I mean, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Even up to speed. I just see the picture and
her tweets are like.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
But mentally it doesn't sound right.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
She's blaming it on Bravo, her time on Bravo, and
the thing that happened was allegedly happened with Carolyn Manzo,
Andy Cohen, not bring whoever. She's blaming it on everything,
but what it really is it looks terrifying, Yes, for
a woman that was, you know, beauty focused like she was.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yes, I'm saying that.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
So I brought up the botox because I was thinking
about Brandy. But then I was like, you can't talk
about Brandy with the needles, And I'm sticking a needle
in my stomach. I thought it was gonna faint. I
don't know how people do it, Like there's a price
to vanity, and I'm terrified of it all.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I have the ramifications, like how does it feel.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I haven't it's been one week. I haven't lost a pound.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
It hasn't one It's been two days, right, it's been
two days.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Yeah, Tuesday, Okay, today, Friday. I did a Friday night.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Okay, today, Friday, Saturday.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Sunday, Monday, listen.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Lost nothing.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
I feel like I've gained weight. I'm bloated from cortisol
because I'm stressed out because I don't know why I
chose it. To listen. My A W and C is
very high.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Nobody knows what is.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
They do a lot of people know a lot of things. Anyway,
My blood sugar is high, suffering a little and some resistance.
I got high cholesterol. I have some things that warranted.
This is not just strictly a vanity thing, but it
will help because I go, babe, seriously, it is and
it isn't. Here's the thing. I'm taking estrogen. The estrogen
makes me put on more weight because I have the

(21:15):
menopause and the hormonal things I'm trying to get a
balance here. I'm doing everything possible not to dive out
the deep bed. It's so funny. Last night I turned
to you. We were watching Married to Medicine. Great show,
fantastic show, Married to Medicine in Southern Charm.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Both of those shows excellent shows. They really have a rhythm. Yes,
that's what it is, and they know their rhythm and
their flows.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
A tone and a rhythm. I'm telling you it's really
important to a show. And Married to Medicine I'll start
with that show. It's so good. And like I've said before,
I really respect all these women. Doctor Jackie was you
see them all going towards they're all medical doctors, and
they're all going towards hormones. It's also a vanity thing.
And in one scene one of the doctors I forget

(21:59):
which Eugene, his wife was saying to you should do botox.
You'll you know, we can make more money.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
That way, she said. I told you about both talk
two decades ago.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yes, and that's the way of the future. So what
I'm saying is that it's all vanity, even the hormone things,
because when you hit a certain age, you put on weight,
that you don't want You don't know why your body's changing,
you don't know why you're in a pissy mood. And
I literally popped out of bed, and I felt like
it was a great opportunity to tell you that women
in menopause we have emotional thing that goes on within

(22:32):
us that makes it What did I use the what
was the term? It's the term is emotional?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
You paused the TV.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
I had to tell you this because I thought it
was a good time, because you were paying attention to
other people's hormones and pellets, which I get the biot pellets,
that this is an age where men and women get divorced.
Fifty five year old woman menopausal and my mood is
a little weird. You sense a bit of tension in
me quite often that sometimes I don't even though I

(23:00):
have that's menopause, okay, and it'll pass and then I'll
go out on the other side. But if you were
to divorce me because you couldn't handle it, and you
were a fucking pussy and you couldn't you couldn't hang
in there through these years, I just wanted to stop.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I want to stop you because you're not contextualizing it correctly.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
We're watching the show. We had a good day, we'd already.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Watched that show, and fifteen minutes in American medicine, you
just stopped. I gotta pause, either go to the bathroom
or mention something about the show. And you went in
this whole rant of what you're saying. And this is
a nicer version of the rant about it was very nice, Pauw.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
It wasn't nice.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
I just I ended it by saying, if you lave me,
I'll kill you.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
No, but here's the thing. Our emotional I would say,
our nervous system needs balance during this time. Okay, all
the things I'm doing are trying to keep keep us
married happily.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Right, Yes.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
So I turned to you and say, look at other women.
They're getting the All the doctors are turning to Pellett,
they're turning to hormones. And I'm doing the same thing
so that my nervous system stays intact and I have
my emotional being in order and to keep our relationship present.
It's not that I'm doing anything wrong. At times. I
notice you said to me, if I share with you

(24:17):
how I'm feeling mood wise, you hang on to that
and go and you're watching every mood, and you may
see me a little different. I'm not some hippy, skippy, happy,
fucking twenty five year old, is what I'm trying to say.
That not a care in the world. That's not what's
happening here. And what happens usually is men punk out
during this time. Leave the wife, she said, pay to
the ask. Guess what though, after I'm over menopause, I

(24:38):
go get myself some young da da da da, okay,
because the woman is over it and she goes back
and she starts dating some young thing, and the man
stuck with some dumb dumb then he's got to school again.
We got it, okay, So I had to stop and
make sure that you're present to that fact.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
Right now.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
I'm kind of riled up about it.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Good that we're recording this, because sometimes I go you
and this is a good good So I'm just listen.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I'm concerned about it. I don't want you to fall
into the trap of some simpleton that leaves his wife
is menopause because she's fifty five and she's lost her swat.
I know you're not that you're smarter than that.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
But I just got to check out threat too.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
So you're you're saying you're smarter than that, and you're
saying it like smiley giggly.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
But see, people aren't catching the.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Underlining threat corpio undertone, the threat of that. No, it's okay,
We're good.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Anyway.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Brandy Glanville great, great housewife, and I've always rooted for her,
and I don't know where she's at mentally.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Something seems off. Mentally.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
I don't know how old she is.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
It could be menopause, it could be that, it could
be a combinationause. It seems like it's a combination of
things because the ship she's typing. And you can't blame
everything on Andy Cohen.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
No, I can't believe these women do. By the way,
she's blame it on the show. She I don't know
who she was before the show. So the show gave
her a career and now the show that she's not
on anymore.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
You can't blame me.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
I don't know. I hope she figure it out.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Leah and all am Nini, you can't blame.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
It.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
I do think this may be true. Somebody should fact
check me, but I think someone I think Phaedra's getting
her help to get somebody who to help her out,
or that as another story with somebody's teeth.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I think somebody's gonna help her out with her face.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I don't know. Bro's husband said something.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Okay, you know they should think they should figure out
what it is. I'd like to know what it is.
By the way, Yeah, something's going definitively because I will
stop to my little tiny bits of botox if that's
what can happen.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
No, she's got something a little bit more severe and
serious going on. And we said that, Uh, Southern Charm
and Married to Medicine, both of those shows. I don't
know if people will watch those shows. If you have timing,
it's a lot of TV.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Man, listen, we're not even caught up, to be quite honest. Uh,
you guys, because you're traveling. And then we have football
still on its way out, but basketball is on its way.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
In NFL is not on its way out yet.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Well, super Bowls coming about February. We got another six
weeks of football.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
We got about another four weeks, five weeks of regular
season legitimately five weeks and the Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Then in the playoffs, and then the super Bowl. Yes so,
but because of sports and then the traveling, I have
to kind of wait for you to watch some of
the spy shows. Oh, I love my British mysteries. I'm addicted.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
What was the show we watched the other day, we
were watching a movie I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
It's like, these are all spies in.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Their British I now have as I think it's a psychop.
All everything on TV is about CIA.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
It's all like, have you been compromised? Yes?

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Did you tell the agency? Is he a double agent?
Did he turn on the agency? And they and because
they have accents, we're like enthralled.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Shit, I love the same show in America. It would
be so lame to me, But I like the British
kind of. Right now, I'm watching Black Doves Nightley. It's
I'm just one episode in and it's excellent. I'm in it.
She's like a spy. It's so cool. I love a spy.
I love a good woman.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
For so many that I mean, there's just it's so
interesting that there's so many. I guess they must chart high.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
They must ra must be mysteries and thrillers and draw
I mean, I what did I watch. I watch The Covenant,
Guy Ritchie's Afghanistan.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Movie with Jake Jillenhall.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I thought it was great. I mean, it wasn't totally
amazingly executed. But I love a war movie. I love
a spy movie. I love anything da or whatever. I
love it. I love it all. Anyway. We're behind in
Southern Charm.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
We're behind in Southern Charm. We're about to catch up
with Southern Charms.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Southern Charms good.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
It's so good. It's great to see Shep vulnerable. That's
really make me happy because I think we talked about
it in the podcast before at Bravo Con. Maybe we
didn't mention we had long talks with him at Bravo
Khan that I don't think that Shepp will remember, right,
I really don't.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
He was.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
He's blacked out the whole time, and I was like, Bymber,
we had such great interactions with him.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
He gave his numbers, we had lunch with him.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
He invited us to Charleston. I mean, I was like, God,
I hope he didn't forget that he had all these
conversations with us. I really adore him. I think it's great,
but now it's really funny babe. Remember him saying, you
look like my girlfriend, my new girlfriend. Yes, he said
that to me, like yes, relating to this black, curly
haired person. And now on the show we see that

(29:37):
he's dating Miss Bahamas. I mean, I don't know how
seriously they're dating, but he calls it's on the TV.
It said Shep's girlfriend, Miss Bahamas and she's curly hair
and obviously she's thirty years younger than I am, but beautiful.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Do you think he probably has no idea that he
met us?

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Yes, I think it's a It was a consideration of
mine when I was watching, and I was like, I
don't think he remembers anything fuck that happened that weekend.
I mean he was We saw him on the elevator
at one point and he literally was like, I don't
know what. I just did something about, you know, a
prostitute and cocaine, an offer of two thousand dollars and

(30:14):
he was like, I said no, but what's happening? Remember
he was like, what do you do when they come
up to you?

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Right?

Speaker 3 (30:19):
He was saying that he was asking us about being propositions.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah, and he was propositioned by some I mean, you
got He didn't for that, No, he didn't. No, he
is the woman.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
He was at a prostitute on the lobby of the hotel.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
Something something with something, these things came out of his
mouth and he was like, whoa, where am I? Well
this is too much Vegas is too much, like it's
not and we were like yes, and he was going
up to his room. He was it was early and yes,
he looked like he knew that he was doing the most. Yes,
he smelled like liquor.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yes, yeah, yes, but a sweet guy.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
And Craig was standing off to the side the whole
time in Brabac. He never kind of came over to
him and interacted with him. That was interesting.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
So they have a beef, right, well, that's like.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
This guy, this ship guy, this blackout guy. They were
getting tired of it, right, I mean on the first
or second episode they go back to Craigs. You know,
he was kind of like on the couch before he
started the pillow thing. His last girlfriend, last serious one
that was on the show with him, she left him
because he was always on the couch.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
He was like a.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Partier, right, So we like, we like shep, We want
him to do good he's a great guy. They're all cool,
Like I think they all we really enjoyed all meeting
all of them.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Yeah, they were all very nice and very sweet and
very funny. And the show is good. It's so good.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
It's really great.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
But there is a lot like right now, between the
quote unquote Oscar movies, between the NFL. I mean, I
you know, I don't get to watch as much basketball
as I would like. I'm gonna be honest, and between
that and you know, just regular shows and the news
and you know, not even watching TV, it.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Is a lot.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
I'm going to be taking a little break from reality
because I get to vote for the SAG. You know,
I got you know, it's a lottery where you get
picked that you get to vote for the Sag of Words. Yeah,
so I got all the They're not passing out like
DVDs on shit anymore. But it's like you get a code.
They emailing me a code to see thinks if I
don't have it. But so I'm trying to watch.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
All the codes. Yeah, okay, so we need to watch them.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Yeah, there's a lot of them that I want to see.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Oh good, good goodness.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Not that I mean, I'm going to take the honor
of being able to vote seriously, and I want to vote, okay,
because I've never got I mean, I've been in SAG
since nineteen ninety since born six, maybe ninety six, and
I've never got to vote.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
All right, good, all right, Well then I didn't realize
you had the code saw them because I didn't look
or I don't care, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
But yeah, it's a lot of.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
TV, but great TV, fun TV, and we're coming to
the end of the year, and I feel like we
need to do not today. We need to format something
for the end of the year, the end of the
year in real the end of the year in popular culture.
Maybe we'll do that on the next podcast or the podcast.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
After that before that's a good idea, the actual end
of the year.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Because we came in like a wrecking ball, to quote
the great Mali Cyrus, and like we said, never has
there been a better season year of reality TV.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
I across the Cross the.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Board and There's Love Island alone, like took up a
lot of our mental space and it was excellent and
well worth it. I said to you the new season
of The Ultimatums on which is a show that I
really like The Traders. Still isn't out yet. I think
January Frith like, there's a whole world. This is a
whole great world of reality television, great world.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
Of reality TV, and great world of reality podcasting. You know,
we're just excited to be a part of it. We're
excited to be the foremost authorities in all things reality TV.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
And we're excited to be eight years marriage.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Yeah, this is eight years together. Fourteen. Yeah, we got
married at seven years, which is usually the seven year
itch and we itch to get married.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
We itch to get married.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Anyway, make sure you're watching, make sure you're staying in
touch with us, make sure you're emailing, make sure you're subscribe,
rate and review.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Tell a friend to tell a friend.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Yeah, tell a friend to tell a friend about Rappaport's reality.
It's a fantastic podcast. It's a fantastic podcast.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I wonder if people get turned off when you say that.
I don't think you're supposed to shoot your own horn quite.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Like, Babe, Listen, we're still in the early stages. I'm
tooting my own horn.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Okay, you dooot it, but I'll say when you say
it for us, Yeah, I'll say when the show people decide.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
I said it when I was on Nick Veil or
Nick Talk a good episode. I talked about us.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
But you said it about his podcast. You were like,
this is great, We're doing great.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
I said, this is a good episode.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
No good.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
I mean like, if you're bringing the energy and you're cooking,
you're cook cooking it. Anyway, tell a friend to tell
a friend, and we'll talk to you soon.

Speaker 5 (34:56):
