Speaker 2 (00:08):
You hear the sirens in the background because we're recording
in New York City.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
It's like all pr perception and I resented it.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Taylor and Travis. Travis and Taylor have gotten engaged. How
do you get Taylor Swift a ring? Like?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
How do you even?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
You know, he's got damn. I mean he's got money,
but he ain't got Taylor Swift money.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
The real favorite show in the world.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
I love it so much, The Real Housewives of Miami.
Man who brought Orange? It is?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
It really really gives man.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
It gives good ship talker she is.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
I don't know if she's a good ship talker.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I disagree with good shit talker. I don't think so.
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Okay, you're not the number one gallon the group.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
No, okay, all right, we are back rap.

all things reality TV, all things popular culture, and a
few comings and goings antecdotes if you will about our relationship,
hence the title rap of Ports Reality. If you've never
listened to rap ports Reality, subscribe, rate and review.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Welcome.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I should say welcome and then subscribe and review. I
say welcome, thank you, thank you, and also subscribe, rate
and review. And I know what's annoying to ask for subscribe,
rating and review, but for some reason it does do
something to the alga orrhythm. If you like something, ask
us to do more of it. If you don't like something,
you could ask us to do less of it. But
(01:56):
welcome to Rappaport's Reality. As we are heading into the
fall summer.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Is I know my favorite time of year is coming,
and there's this perfect I know, it's just great. There's
that little slight breeze this morning, sun was shining.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Don't be used to it.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
I walked to get my car. You keep saying that,
but I.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Don't think we're going to have It's coming.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
An Indian summer.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Indian summer is going to come.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Okay because as of September third, the recording of this
Rapaport's Reality.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yes, I went out this morning with two shirts on.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Well, I won't put away my booty shorts and my tank.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Top yet no, don't put away your booty shorts and
your tank top if nothing else, because we like you
to wear it around the house. Rapports reality. So much
going on, I don't even know where to start. But
we had a little bit of a controversial documentary watching
the other day. One of the most controversial figures of
the last five or six years, who has nothing to
(02:54):
do with politics, and I am talking about no other
than juicy juices. Jesse Simolay, the actor, the former actor
from the show what was the name of the show
with Taraji and the fuck was the name of that show?
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Man?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
One word name of a show? Right?
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yes, anyway, well I don't know got it wasn't the
Crown or the Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
It was something like that.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
But Jesse Smolay, who, of course, unless you have been
hiding under a rock for the last six years, was
in Chicago at two thirty in the morning in one
of the coldest.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Nights and the actual history of Chicago.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
He was going to get a subway sandwich and he
was allegedly attacked by what he called two Caucasian men.
And these two Caucasian men, allegedly, based on his description
of the incident, tried to put a noose around as neck.
And they said that he was in Maga country at
two thirty in the morning, not two thirty after two thirty.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
As he was coming back from Subway sandwiches on.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
The coldest night of that winter.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Anyway, the case was just discussed and talked about him
politicized and oh my god. And I will say that Keebi,
my wife, was the first person in my life, the
first person that I heard when this was coming out
two or three days afterwards, where it was all over
the news and Vice president at the time, No, Kamala
(04:28):
Harris wasn't she was Kamala Harris Joe. I mean, everybody
was talking about this. Trump was president because we're showing
this in the documentary. He said, it's a terrible thing,
and everybody's and obviously it seemed like a terrible, terrible thing,
not to me, Keebi said.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
The second that it came on the news, I was like, fake, fake, fake,
that's the real fake news.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
And we didn't know, and obviously Keeby didn't know.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
I remember going to work out and there's a girl Diane,
you know Diana, and I said to her, you know
that's fake, right, And she goes. Thank God, you're saying
that's exactly what I think. And we really bonded over
that because you wouldn't dare say that out loud right
that it.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Was faced, especially two days after it happened.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I was watching it, going, this is not real. It
doesn't look real. Nothing about the story seemed real. That's
why I was very reluctant. You forced me to watch
that documentary. I mean that's an hour and a half.
I can't get back.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
I wanted to watch the documentary because I knew that
I would hate watching it and somehow, some way, this
thing will never I feel like this is like it's
obviously not the OJ trial, but it is.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
It's just going to keep going on and on and on.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Well it's propaganda, babe.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
That documentary a way. Netflix documentary is true blue propaganda
because what it does is it tries to raise a question,
right like all.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
These people on the internet, I'm just asking. It's just
a question, can't we ask? So it leads the witness
and I either the audience members to doubt, and doubt
sometimes is good enough for things to go away. It's
like all pr perception and I resented it because I
think what he did. There's real incidents happening in the
(06:13):
world that are very scary and awful for a lot
of us, for a lot of different reasons. And to
make one up like that. By the way, you know
the filmmakers who made the one that we really liked,
Don't Fuck with.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Cats, that's docum. What made you think about that?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Because they're the same people who made this.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Know it is? Yes, Oh I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
That's the only reason why. And they made something in somebody.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Oh are you sure they made Don't Fuck with Cats?
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I didn't know that. Listen.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
I am not going to suggest this for everybody, but
if you want a really dark, sick, and I mean
really dark and really sick twisted documentary, I put this
in my top five sickest twisted crime docs ever. Don't
Fuck with Cats, which is called Don't f with Cats
is way out there. This is not as good, not
(07:04):
as compeller there. It is about another sick fuck. I
think juicy Jesse Smolley is a sick fuck. The one
thing that I was discussing with Dean, who is the
co host part time sometime every now and then of
the Iron rap Port serial podcast, the young shooter. He
said to me he was disappointed, and I was thinking
the same thing because at the iconic juicy Jesse Smolet
(07:25):
performance at the Troubadour, which he although he had gotten
potentially lynched and beaten up, he said the show must
go on, and he did his concert at the Troubadour,
and he said, although they didn't use in the documentary,
he said, I am the gay Tupac. Yeah. And that's
when I was like, this is bullshit, this is press,
this is pr and as sooner than later the whole
(07:50):
house of cards fell down.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
I think he did an interview also around that time
with Robin Robert Oh, yeah, and how he was talking
to her was so suspect to me.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
He empires of the show empire.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yes, her facial expressions didn't look like she even believed
him when he was saying it, this is a seemingly
very narcissistic person who has a goal to be the
activist said yeah, that, and he wants to be, you know,
the gay tupac. I don't know, man, The subject makes me.
(08:24):
This is why sometimes I'm like, am I I'm not
really a professional at this because I'm pissed now now
I'm really mad. I don't know why that subject and
when that happened made me so angry to my soul
because I think.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
It wouldn't go away.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
No, and also too, it's a subject that it's not
fair to play around with, and it's thrown around a lot.
Racism is y everywhere. It's like, yes, racist, and it
keeps people in a certain place, right, It keeps society
in a certain place and individuals in the side. And
I can't stand it. When it happens, it happens, and
it happens, you'll know and it's real. But when you're
faking it, it to me is the lowest form. Yeah,
(09:02):
h just insenses me.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
I am by no means, I am by no means
comparing Jesse Smoller, who I think is nuts. He admitted
to being on drugs and having a drug problem. I
am by no means comparing him to OJ Simpson.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
But O J.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Simpson said that the killer was loose who killed Nicole
Simpson and Ron Goldman, and Jesse Smolet to this day
says the two Caucasians that beat.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Him up, they're on the loose.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Also, I don't know if there's any correlation between oj Simpson,
that person and the two people in Chicago that were
out in the middle of the night again at two
thirty I believe it was two thirty seven in the
morning on the coldest night.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
I mean, you gotta really really be racist. I can't
be racist, but you have to be really racist.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Why doesn't make sense two.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Thirty in the morning. He's like, yeah, we're.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
All one on the streets in Chicago.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Like, if you're looking to be racist and potentially lynch somebody, like,
that's not like peak hours of.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
They scoped him out and waited for him. They knew
that he made his little run. Doesn't exactly That's what
I did the morning of in the news, I was
going I computed all this very quickly in my head
and I thought, no.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
It's non frustrating. Watch on Netflix. I don't even know
what the name of it. Just type in juicy Jesse
Simolet which brings us to the great this is someone
we love.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Lagron h Free at Last, Free at Last, Lagrondame is
free at Last.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
And you hear the sirens in the background because we're
recording in New York City. I don't think that's lagron
Dome being escorted back home, but after six months of hard.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Time, I can't even imagine. I saw a little clip
of theirs some fans waiting outside. I'm surprised there there
was a camera. I don't think for the show. But
I think she was getting some makeup done before she
got less loose to go home. That's the word on
the street, allegedly that she was getting you know, fixed
up a little bit before she left. But I saw
(11:01):
a little I think it was her in a car. Wait,
that was her. Yeah, I'm glad she's home.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Me too.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Drunk driving is no joke, based on everything we know. Lagrondame,
Karen Huger, the Great Lagrondome. She had bad counseling, had
bad a lawyer's bad advice. She tried to fight it
instead of just taking a plea and maybe you know,
a fine and maybe an ankle bracelet, or just agreeing
not to drive.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Whatever. She fought the case and lost.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I fought the law and the law one, the law
one with Lagrondome.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Do you think.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Her and her husband, respectfully the black Bill Gates, their
relationship is gonna make it past this.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I think they will.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
I think so. And Ray the uncle Ben. Yes, the
black Bill Gates.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
She called him the black Bill Gates.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yes, I think that it will. I think you sent
me a picture of jen Shaw and her husband and
she was in Jelly went to visit her.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Her and Coach Shaw.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Coach Shaw.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
They looked like they were just a regularly if you
didn't look close.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
But you notice her jumpsuit was sort of chic. It
was a great tangent.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
She looked great.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Yeah, she looked really good. I think that, yeah, because
I mean, where where's he gonna go? Like, what is
he gonna do? He moves very slow from the couch
to the kitchen, like where is that guy gonna go?
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Right? And she knows his secrets. She might have did
the time.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
But oh yeah, I think he had some tax issues
that you know, or they early on in the first seasons,
he wasn't doing well with the money allegedly. But uh yeah,
of course, I think, what do you think do you
think they'll.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I think they'll be okay. I want them to be okay.
As you know, we at the Rapports rally, we root, cheer,
hope for nothing but the best from all of our house,
especially someone like Lagrondam the great Karen Huger who just
got out of prison, were rooting for Genshaw coach Shaw,
their families, just like we rooted for Teresa Judaice Joe Judice, respectful.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Is there anybody else in jail?
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Nobody else in jail? No, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Is there anyone facing charges right now that we're we're
forgetting about? Not yet right, fortunately?
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Yeah, not yet?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Fortunately, But Karen Huger's out and it's just in the
nick of time because the Real Housewives of Potomac put
out their trailer, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
put out their trailer.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
I didn't see the Potomac one.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Oh it's out, Wow, it's out, and they talk about
Karen Huger lagron down.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Respect I think.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
They filmed at all like her coming out, So because
she's going to return, I gotta think she's going to return.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Somebody filmed something today. Yeah, I don't know who filmed what.
But even though they're about to start a new season,
you definitely film when you're coming.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Out of jail, right, that's for something, whether it's your.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
YouTube channel, whether it's you know, personal archives. The documentary
The Life and Times of Karen Lagron Don Huger, you
don't know what Listen if you could have a hour
and a half of Jesse Smole, Yes, that's true. Take
an hour and a half any.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
To any day, anytime. What she's learned after four duys,
no problem her healing journey. I would be interested, far
more interesting to me than juicy Jesse and his yes
whatever that was.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Yes, we also, I don't want to forget, but you
have to be respectful because we are on the cusp
of the NFL.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
About to start.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
I'm happy about it.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Taylor and Travis. Travis and Taylor have gotten engaged.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Congratulations Shout out to them.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Shout out to Taylor Swift's soon to be mother in law,
Donna Kel's. Yes, of course, it was reported reported that
she was she was on my season of Traders. Yes,
I guess if it was reported. Yeah, I won't confirm or.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Deny know that it was.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Didn't They say, everybody.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Don't want to get caught up and nothing that You're right,
I talked about it. It was like, don't speak like
say this, but don't say that's not.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
We don't even I don't even know why.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
You brought it up because it was reported that she
was on Traders. I can confirm that I did Traders, right,
I can confirm that we've we've spoken about that. I
won't confirm or deny that anyone else was there. Yeah,
I'm just gonna say that it was all so you
were there, so you I'm not confirming.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
I get that.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
I get that.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Yeah, well it was.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I believe, I believe. Yeah, there, congratulations to them. I'm
very excited for beautiful, gorgeous, mind cut diamond that she is.
I think it's going to be all the rage and
the new trend.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Oh what does that mean?
Speaker 1 (15:43):
I don't know. I just read that it was mine cut.
You can tell by the cutting of the stone is
older way of cutting a diamond.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
How much did they say he spent for that part?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
I didn't see. I didn't see.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
How do you get Taylor Swift the ring? Like, how
do you even?
Speaker 1 (15:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
You know, he's got to be a damn.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
I mean he's got money, but he ain't got Taylor
Swift money.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
I think no, exactly, I think I don't think she
would care.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Yes, she wouldn't care. No, there's nothing you could buy her.
She can't buy her.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Exactly. This is not what she's in it for. Do
you know she's written songs about this kind of love
forever and it's finally here a guy that she didn't
have to drag through, you know, the streets of New
York and write break up with or they break up
with her, or she breaks up with them, and she
writes a song about Fine, this is she's met her man.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Do you think that this will stifle her creativity because
her song is based on what I know, like you
just said, are all about love, loss, breaking up. You know,
she being the problem, Like, do you think that this
will h screw that up?
Speaker 1 (16:45):
I think she's so creative and that her artistry is
going to grow with her life. But this is a
big growth for her. I mean, we watched her date
countless guys and get rid of them and then have
her girl gang walk down the street together. They're you know,
in solidarity, right, and now I think she's met someone
who uh, I think they're a lot more alike than
(17:08):
we probably thought.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
No, I think that it's good.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
You've always thought so. I kind of doubted it. I
thought she needed maybe somebody more sophisticated. But I think
she is in the most complimentary way a simple girl. Yes,
you know in terms of that, like yes, and so
I think this is very exciting for her, and she'll
you know, they'll get married, they'll have kids.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
You think they're gonna have kids, like right away?
Speaker 1 (17:27):
I think so, Wow, I think so, I think she will.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
That's a lot, I hope. So that's a lot to
deal with.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Man, if you're if you're Taylor Swift and you're having
a kid, I mean there have been some famous people
that have kids.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
That's Beyonce has done it.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Yeah, you know, it's a lot. It's a lot, but
they change it.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
It will change a lot for her in terms of
her career, I'm sure. And what she sings about, what
she writes about Oh yeah, yeah, of course.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
And then will her kid be a Swift Ye?
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
I don't know how that works because that's Swifty. Shit's real.
Oh it's real.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
It's got you know, it's The ratings for the NFL
have gone up because of her.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
And this year the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes
and his wife and Travis this is most likely the
last turf for Travis Kels. They were thinking he might
have retired last year. Yeah, he's going to retire. I
don't think he's announced it, but he's going to put
every single thing he has because they got their asses
(18:28):
kick last year and he didn't have a great season,
and I think he's going to do everything that he
can to try.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Like he would get to the championships. That would be amazing.
If they went to the Super Bowl and they're.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Engaged, that would be crazy.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
That would be crazy.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
But I don't think it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I am predicting that the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia
Eagles will be back in the Super Bowl, unlike last year,
whereas the Philadelphia Eagles who.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Trounced And I don't say that happily, Patty.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Did you pick anybody for your fantasy football from Kansas City?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Did I pick anybody from my fantasy football from Campansas City?
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Not yet.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
I have another fantasy football draft coming up. Thank you
for asking, Thank you for your concern.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
I am concerned.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I will say this, and I don't. We don't deep
dive into sports here. Their best wide receiver has got
six game suspension, so they're they're they're gonna have to,
you know, pull some magic tricks out and like I said,
Travis Kels didn't look good last year. He's gonna have
to go back a couple of years in time if
they want to compete for the big chip, the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
But that would be sick.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
If Taylor Swift and Travis Kels and Patrick Malomes and
then they went to the World and they won again
and there that.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Would be I know, it didn't get any more fairy
tale ending.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
There that would be I'm going to root for that.
I think it can.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
You're rooting for that. Fuck.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Going from Kansas City to Miami, I'm wonder is there
a flat just got to be a direct flight from
Kansas City to Miami.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I don't know. There's the city. Oh, it's a it's
a big hub.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah. Sure to Miami. There's a fight, Sure there is.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah. The favorite show in the world. I love it
so much.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I hate to kick a dead orange, but the Real
Housewives of Miami Man rotten Orange.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
It is it really It really gives, man, it gives. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
And like I've said before, it's got the fashion, it's
got the humor, it's got the hair, it's got the beauty,
it's got the jewelry. It's got the private planes. Now
that Stephanie's there, it's got the shade, and it's got
the drink throwing.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
It really is.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
It's great. It's so great. Let me tell you these women,
you know, and it's not even that they're all really close,
but the way that they're grouped off actually works.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Grouped off is important.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Yes, I sometimes I don't like that on shows that
it's really but it really works for this group. The
fact that there are little groups and they kind of
shift a little. You see healing with Gertie and Martinez wife,
which you know, you see the healing, you see the fighting,
but then it kind of switched to Adriana used to
be friends with Martina. I don't know. I just love
(21:08):
the show. I'm still holding out on Stephanie and her.
You know, jet boo is what I call it jet
boo because boo when you just have to sit and
make a list. I mean, her seating chart thing was
so cringe like I it made me. It started. I
started to get mad. When I start feeling emotional, these shows
make my brain turn off. But when I get emotionally
(21:28):
angry on a show, because I don't get that involved
with these types of shows.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
I think we have a podcast about these types of shows.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
No, I'm saying when I'm watching. I watched, it shuts
off a parts of my brain. It's like relaxing. It's
like eating jelly beans.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
For me, it's amazing.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'm saying, when I have a visceral angry reaction.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Let's explain what happened. What is happening. They were in Spain.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
They were flying through Bahamas, and I'm just, yes, wasn't
it Barbados.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
No, they're in Sevilla and people Maribella. They're going from
Sevilla and it is a twenty two hour, twenty two
minute flight.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
And she is Stephanie's a new cast member. She's got
a lot of money. And she will tell you, she'll show.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
You, show you and tell you over and over again, and.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Then she'll tell you she doesn't and she'll tell you
she's not talking about.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
It, but it's she keeps talking about it. She came
in there with the plane and.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
The outfits and the Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Just I'm just not good shit talker.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
She is she she I don't know if she's a
good shit talker.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
I don't. I disagree good shit talker.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I don't think so, I don't think so. Okay, listen
on this show. I wouldn't I wouldn't call them shit talkers.
I think Mary Soul is one because she's under and
she says things that are intelligent and like boom zingers.
I think this is she is like a little chi wahwah,
a little barkie kind of Yes, I got money, bark
bark bark, you know it just it's it's doing that
(22:50):
and we have We're gonna have to see some more
things from her for me to like, let's see why
now I'm I don't know, I stopped me there because
I'm going to say something. She doesn't talk to her sisters.
I'd like to see a reunion of that show, some humility,
some kind of I know she loves her husband and
she calls and looking in I love you so much
and I'm under your wing. Yeah yeah yeah, but who
(23:12):
is she?
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Well, I'll tell you who she is.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
We're not going to find out until the reunion and
next season season two.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
It's like all great rookies. Yeah, every great rookie.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Once they do the intel and the download and the
internet does what the internet.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Does, starting to do it by the way, Yes, right.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Then we'll we'll find out who she is now.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Like I said, we love a great antagonist, and she
is a little bit of an antagonist. I just don't
like how she came in there and thought she was
Steph Curry.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
You're not the point guard with these these women have
put down.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
She came in there like it's my show, yeah, and
it's it's wild because Larsa is laying in the cut
and letting her like she they're real friends, right, I guess,
and I think I mean Larcia. It seemed like she
knows some rich people, right. So, but she's like standing
back like she wants that first row on the jet boo,
(24:08):
like she won't get in there be like no chill,
like you're here, like this is how this one is,
and this is how this one is. Yeah, she's just
letting her bark away and I just don't I'm telling you,
the scene with her sitting around holding court with the
seating chart for her jet is ridiculous. It didn't even
make fanfare for Reality Housewives TV exciting to me. I
(24:31):
was like, ew, cringe, no, thank you, bye.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
And then she finally said what everybody knew and thought
and felt like she was going to say, well, if
she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to get on
the plane.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
And it was like, this is what this is about.
You can say this from the beginning and just say.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
This, this is what this hold about. You got the plane, Nana, nana, nana,
and you don't and if you're nice to me, you
could ride on it. Fuck out of here. I didn't
want to be on the but I'll take the bus.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
And that's why I loved Alexia Yes and Mary Soul.
They were like, we're taking ourselves out of this equation. Yep,
we're not going to be told. We're to see where
we can't sit, Yes, sit with the rules.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
What to wear, you can't poop.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
In, go to the bathroom, you can't. It's twenty two minutes.
Anything could happen. Yes, you might have to go to
the you might think you don't have to go to bed.
You get up in the air and jet boo.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
I don't know, and you're pathetic and ridiculous and it's
just not a good look. And you know, on the
after show when she's talking about it, she keeps trying
to Stephanie keeps trying to make it funny, like she's like,
you know, people poop, bill poop, and a lot of
people use toilet paper and they use too much toy
bl you know how that works on the and it's
just she's tanking, trying to save herself from looking not
(25:40):
so like and she knows it. On the after show, Yes,
I think she's painting herself in a corner with that
coming in with the you know, the woman with all
the money, you know, it.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Just it's not I agree.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
She's the first person, by the way, it's so funny.
On this episode, Mari Saul calls Richard Branson Facetimes Brandson, Okay,
so you got money, Marshall knows somebody would probably just
as much, if not more money.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Just as enough, if not more so. It's like, if
not more as sure.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
But her flexing is crazy, you know what I mean,
Like it shouldn't be the thing on your business card.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I'm rich, bitch.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
It's not cool.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yeah, I agree, And I just don't like her trying
to like she's the number one. You're not the number
one gallon the group. No that you are not the
number one gallon the group. But I will tell you
as as far as a tusome that Mary Soul and
Alexa as.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
A two man weave because have a spinoff. They are good.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah, and even when they argue with each other, it's funny.
It's so funny.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Yeah, that that's just a good cast.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
I mean, that is a cast that you know, has
really really impressed me and grown and improved. And that
show unlike some other shows where they start getting too toxic.
The Real Houses in Miami is continuing to go up.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
And not down.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Yes, it's true. They don't have like, for instance, what
we're dealing with on the dooc.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Yes, realize wise of Orange County respectfully, the og of
the of the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
And we had it on the new reboot of New
York where the cast gets so eager to make storylines, yes,
that they make things up, They embellish, they go to
the press. We're not in that kind of drama set,
a similar.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
To Atlanta and Potomac, where their personalities themselves are just grief.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
You don't need too much.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
This is what casting is. You don't really need to
fake it. If it's there, you know, you just don't.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Another storyline that was much discussed in these last few
episodes is Lisa Hokstein, who has been accused and then
just openly admitted to being with the group while they're
filming and taking notes. And the women are like, how
could you be doing that? You know you're betraying us.
(27:56):
This is secretive. And I will tell you that as
a reality TV expert.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
And recently allegedly on a reality TV show.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
I could totally understand why you'd want to try to
keep notes and keep score and keep quotes. And this
person said that, this person said this, while this person
was saying this, and the other person was saying another thing.
Because with these women specifically, you know, she's in the
middle of the shit storm already that she created, but
(28:31):
like it's just sort of to be able to bring
it back later.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
On in her defense, and I think probably how her
brain works while going through this horrible divorce with Lenny.
The lawyers have been throwing a lot at her that's
probably out of her pay grade and suggested hit take
notes on that. So she's just transferring that idea to
the show. Yes, And I think the ladies we've niche Yes, well,
we have incidents where Brittany on Salt Lake City recording people,
(28:59):
and I think that that's an uncomfortable thing. You're taking notes,
you're recording. What does it mean? How do I trust you?
I on? I think I'll ask you, how do you
feel about if I was to begin to start to
take notes with you? How would you feel.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
That if you were going to take notes with me
on our day to day hmmm.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Then you got into a little thing the other day
and we were walking in the street and you said,
you said, and I said, no, I didn't say that,
I said, and you said no, you said it like
and if I had been taking notes, I could come
back to you say no, Actually, well you know what I.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Was thinking it just to up it.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
It's keep it simple so you don't have to you
know is we could get ourselves two pairs of those
ray band metaglasses where you could, like.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
You can film each other. That's this is a great
way for couples not to do the fighting. I said,
fighting sucks and this you know.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
What, let's just go back to six seven.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Pm, right three, back the tape and we just like
here remember, and you're looking at each other.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Like, is an amazing idea? You know why? Because the
most horrible thing and I don't I can see why
you would do this in an intimate relationship with your friends.
It's really it's really not necessary but reality I think so, Like,
but by the way you're being recorded, so like the.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Thing doesn't make it into the show and you could
be like I forgot when we were in Spain that
said this and we were on the bus ride that
they never even used and they That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I can understand.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
But the couples, the arguing is about needing to be
right babe, So is this I know, but you're right,
that's true. I'm just your point, But I just think, like,
do you need to be that right with your friend?
Like to me, it doesn't seem like you can go like, yeah,
you're right and think differently and like it's what does
(30:43):
it matter? Like what is going to happen? Like she
Larsa wanted Lisa to unfollow Marcus. Yes, so like that's
the heart of their problem. That has nothing to do
with she's he said. She said, she just doesn't feel
like she's a good friend, so like proving herself right
doesn't make her a good friend either. Oh, I just
(31:03):
really taught myself this is why therapy is good. When
you talk things out because I don't need to be
right with you.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
No, we just need to be kind to each other.
I like that energy. You could say, let's say that again.
I don't need to be right to you.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
I don't need to be right to you, but we
just need to be kind to each other.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
I just need to be kind.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Say that right, say that. She can say that anyway.
So I don't know how I feel about her writing
things down, but it has legs, man, and they're mad
about it. Everybody is mad about it.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
And she just pops the phone and she's like, yeah,
I'm just drotting that down, and Marcel's like, put.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
The phone down.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
I could see what she feels back in the corner.
She wants to have proof. But I don't think her
writing down like it's her perspective. Like if I wrote
Mike said this at dinner, he said the words, I
got my phone out, and you'd be like, even if
I wrote it down, you'd still be like, I did
not say that. I could write down anything.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Yeah, you'd be like, yeah, you misquoted.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
Get it wrong, or you took it the wrong way right.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
You need to write the full sentence down, I said
a bunch of shit.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
You're like, your shit is shorthand yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
