Speaker 1 (00:01):
The US will take over the Gaza script and we
will do a job with it too. We'll own it.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
The head on American Sunrise, We'll own it. That's what
President Trump says, the US will take over Gaza. His
comments have caused an earthquake of reactions. But what did
he mean exactly? But we already know President Trump meant
what he said when he said he'd be sending the
worst illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay, Because now it's happening.

(00:33):
The first flight of the most dangerous criminals landed yesterday.
It was also a very big day for President Trump's
cabinet team. Pam Bondi was confirmed as Attorney General, and
RK Junior, Tulci Gabbard and Cash Mattel cleared some he hurdles.
And are you ready for some football? President Trump is

(00:54):
about to become the first sitting president to attend the
Super Bowl. Is New Orleans? Ready? Time for you to
get ready for American Sunrise Early Editions starting now.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition, the show where faith, freedom,
and the values that built this nation takes centers.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Your good, thieves and bad deeds. That's how we're gonna
judge you.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Join host Jake novakau is he breaks down the stories
that matter.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
He will be letting the public know regularly what we
have found.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
American Sunrise Early Edition with your host Jake Novak starts now.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition. I'm Jake Novak, your
gen X host who has now been burned again by
relying too much on gen Z guests. I'll talk about
that later. This is the most rapid fire news atmosphere
I've experienced in my lifetime, and that's why I wanted
to bring in some youth. But apparently it's too fast
for the youth. So let's talk about the big news.

(01:58):
And luckily, as you know many of you know, I'm
a Middle East expert. I used to be a diplomat
in the Middle East. So let me talk a little
bit about what that big news was we got yesterday
from President Trump's meeting with Benjamin and Tanyaho, the Israeli
Prime Minister, and the earth shattering comment that he made
about how the US will take over Gaza. First of all,
I want everyone to talk about to think about one thing,

(02:20):
and this is really something that we talk about here
on Real America's Voice. All the time, if you wanted
a president who was going to keep to the status quo,
if you wanted a president who was going to take
things slower, then maybe you shouldn't have shot him in
the head and tried to arrest all of his followers.
You get what I'm trying to say. This is a
person who has a sense of urgency because he knows
that the enemies of progress in America have a bigger

(02:42):
sense of urgency and indecency. So that's one thing. Second,
if you're worried about US owning Gaza, I have news
for you. We already own it. The United States, more
than any other country in the world, has poured more
money and more other kinds of capital into Gaza over
the years. No one else can say that if this
were a bankruptcy proceeding, all of Gaza's assets would be

(03:05):
given to us. Anyway. Now, I don't want US troops
occupying Gaza, and I'm pretty sure President Trump doesn't want
that easier either. The Israeli Army will provide any kind
of security for US people or US assets there. But
what I think President Trump is really trying to do
is to get the other Arab countries in the region.
The other countries like Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates

(03:28):
who have been on the fence about coming in and
administering Gaza from an economic point of view for a
long time. To tell you the truth, from my experience,
they probably would like to do it, but they don't
want to appear like they're abandoning the Palestinian cause. It's
basically window dressing. The other Arab countries know that the

(03:48):
Palestinian cause is one of terrorism, one of destruction, not
only for Israel in the United States, but if you
know your Middle Eastern history, when those Palestinian terrorists come
into other Arab countries, they continue to be terror asked
Jordan in nineteen seventy Palace Indian terris tried to take
over that country and King Hussein killed many of them
and expelled them from the country. Then they went to

(04:09):
Lebanon following my drift, and then they started a civil
war in Lebanon. Actually really wasn't a civil war, was
more like an invasion, and Lebanon has been a garbage
pile in so many ways ever since. So the rest
of the Arab world doesn't really want to help them either,
because they know they'll get killed for it. But now
that the Hamas is pretty much destroyed, Kasballah as much weakened,

(04:32):
Saudi Arabia and United Air Emirates, maybe Oman, maybe some
other countries would like to invest in. As President Trump
called it, the beautiful beachfront property, the riviera of the
Middle East that Gaza can be. For those of you
who know your geography, the Mediterranean Sea is a great beach,
it's a great location for shipping, it has great views.
It's been destroyed by people who would rather die than

(04:53):
live in peace next to Jews. Thirteen times since nineteen
thirty three, what we call the Palace, Indians have been
offered a path to statehood or actual statehood like the
UN did in nineteen forty seven, and each and every
time they've told the world, we would rather die and
kill other people than live next door to a Jewish state.
And so that's what's happened to them. It's very simple.

(05:15):
It's really not a complicated conflict. I know all of
us are told from birth this is a very difficult
conflict that's hard to understand. No, it's not. I just
explained it to you. The Jews are willing to live
next to the Arabs in peace, and the Palestinians or
whatever you want to call them, aren't. It's as simple
as that. And thankfully there are a lot of Arab countries,
not Palestinian, who have been willing to live with Israel

(05:37):
and peace and more and more so. In fact, I
think now the President Trump is back in office, that
Saudi Arabia will join the United Arab Emirates n Oman
and sign a peace deal with each with the Israel.
I think that's going to happen pretty soon. So that
is your basic, very easy explanation of what's going on there. Now,
do we really want Gaza? Do we want to even
own it economically? Again, we already do. We've poured a

(05:59):
tremend this amount of money into this region over the years.
It's basically our property. We have really have to get
something out of it, and I think the thing we
can get out of it is a pea step dividend. Now,
there's a lot of jokes going around. I love some
of the memes I've seen. Some people are calling Gaza
Mara Gaza, some people are calling it the Maga strip,

(06:20):
whatever you want to call it, and they're putting up
pictures of Trump casinos and hotels right on the beach.
Probably not going to see that, but you know what,
maybe we could. Why not? Why not? Maybe if it's
not Trump, maybe it's another company. Maybe it's countries like
the United era memirates that have a city like Dubai,
a city state like Dubai that knows how to run
beachfront property, knows how to do this job already. Look,

(06:42):
it's not that much of a stretch of the imagination.
Gaza is destroyed despite what was probably close to a trillion
dollars of American taxpayer money being poured into it every day.
Here's a funny thing I want everyone to share in.
You know, for years, people who have not wanted to
support Israel have said they just don't want to give
money to any foreign country. They really just mean Israel.

(07:03):
But they've said that, and you know what, they have
a right to say that. So now that we're doing that,
now that the Trump administration and Elon Musk have put
a freeze on the USAID Office, guess what happened. It
was good for Israel because what we found was program
after program, billions and billions of dollars going to the
enemies of Israel in the United States going to people
who plan the killing of Americans, the killing of israelis

(07:26):
So even if you cut off Israel from USA, they
come out ahead anyway, because all that money going to
Israel's enemies also is cut off. You get my drift.
We've put so much money into Gaza, and we just
found out of the last few days a lot more
money that we didn't even know about has been going
into Gaza. Thank you Elon Musk and those twenty two
year old coders who are breaking the code at USAID

(07:47):
and finding out all the money and where it's been going.
And that is really interesting for all of us. I
think everyone needs to understand that that's where we're going
with this. President Trump wants to make sure that we
stop putting money into Gaza. I think taking it over,
as he said yesterday, was a new investment. Sadly or wrong,
we've been putting money into Gaza for decades and we've

(08:07):
gotten nothing out of it. In fact, it's been a
tremendously negative investment. And as President Trump also says, just
doing the same thing over and over is crazy. We
can't keep doing the same thing. Here's another thing I
want everyone to understand. Donald Trump has changed the narrative
administration after administration, Republican and Democrat. Before Donald Trump talked
about this ridiculous idea of a two state solution. As

(08:30):
I said just a few minutes ago, do you We've
been trying a two state solution since nineteen thirty three.
Thirteen times the Arabs and what we now call Gaza
and the West Bank have been offered either statehood, flat
out statehood, or at least a path to statehood. They've
rejected it every single time. The two states solution is
not our choice. It's not Israel's choice to make. We've

(08:51):
made that choice for ninety two years. We've been in
favor of it. It's the Arab people in that region.
It's the Palestinian people and their leaders who've reject did it.
It's silly for us to continue talking about as use
state solution. It's now time to talk about other options.
President Trump's talking about clearing out the people from Gaza
until it can be rebuilt properly and a place where

(09:12):
they can get jobs. Now, this change is the narrative.
No one's talking and thinking about the people in Gaza anymore.
As a nascent state. No one's saying, hey, these are
people who could administer themselves and have a self government.
Now we're just talking about them as about as people
and where they're going to live. This is a brilliant
change of narrative and strategy by President Trump. We're no
longer wasting our time talking about statehood anymore. That is key.

(09:37):
It's never going to happen. The people of the Palestinian
territories are not interested in statehood, they never have been.
And the ones who are good people, the ones who
are not wanting to be terrorists, the ones who want
to have some kind of economic stability, have already long
left Gaza in the West Bank. Or they live in Israel,
where they are given citizenship rights, where they have voting rights,
where they have representatives in Israel's parliament it's called the Kannesse,

(09:59):
where they have incredible jobs, especially in the medical community.
You know, the head of the emergency room in Israel's
top hospital is an Arab Israeli. The valedictorian of Israel's
top university almost every year is an Arab. They live
much better as citizens of Israel sharing in a plurality
than they do in their own hellhole, as President Trump

(10:19):
calls it, of Gaza, and they know it. The ones
who remain there either can't afford to leave, are happy
in acting as combatants or terrorists themselves. So now we're
going to help the people who couldn't afford to leave,
give them another place to go while that territory is
cleared out of the tunnels, the unexploded bombs, you name it.
That is what President Trump is talking about. We are
no longer talking about nonsense like a two state solution.

(10:43):
And by talking about the United States taking over Gaza Americans,
either American businessmen or American relief workers, we now are
stoking the interest and maybe even the anger. And that's
okay of other Arab countries who should be stepping up,
who should be be willing to put their money where
their mouths are when it comes to the Gaza Strip
and some other of the territories. I think that Saudi

(11:05):
Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, maybe Oman, maybe Bahrain,
they would be interested in some kind of investment in
that region as long as there's protection for them from terrorists,
which the Israeli Army can provide. As long as the
United States allows them to do. So this is a
new vision for the Middle East. This is a new
vision for Israel, and most importantly, this is a great

(11:26):
America first vision. It means that all the money we've
poured into there can finally stop being poured in when
we take some kind of receivership of this territory and
hand it over to someone else whose problem it's going
to be from now on. That is a fantastic vision
for the Middle East. So that's where I wanted to
talk about that. So thanks so much for listening to
my rant. We'll talk more about this later in the show.

(11:46):
But coming up, New Jersey's governor tries to pretend he's
Harriet Tubman. There's only one problem. Harriet Tubman wasn't stupid.
Tom Holman isn't having it from phil Murphia and New Jersey,
I'll explain. And people like former Senator Ben Sass tried
to create himself as a brand above the MAGA crowd.
Well it turns out he may be a crook. Oops.

(12:10):
American Sunrise early edition will be right back. That's a
live shot of Times Square right now. If you get

(12:32):
a hotel and come to New York City, and we're
happy to have you. Just remember that if you get
a room that's with a big window, you're gonna have
to close the shades. Can you imagine trying to sleep
with all that stuff that goes all night? By the way,
all right, welcome back to an American Sunrise early edition.
I'm Jake Novak, New Jersey. Governor Phil Murphy is not
a smart man. He proved that to all of us

(12:55):
earlier this week when he boasted that he had an
illegal alien living in his home, and then he dared
Ice to do something about it. Ren for up. Well,
here's what borders our Tom Homan had to say about that.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Governor Phil Murphy is breaking eight US Code Section one
three two four, so smug, almost taunting the federal government
to come after him. Let's play cut sixty.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
Nine talking about I don't want to get into too
much detail, but there's someone in our broader universe whose
immigration status is not yet at the point that they
are trying to get it to. And we said, you
know what, let's have her live at our house above
our garage, and good luck to the Feds coming in

(13:43):
to try to get her.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
So we don't quite know what that means an immigration status,
not where she wants it to be. Is it is
someone illegal, someone waiting for paperwork. We don't quite know,
but it sure sounds like the way he ended that
statement that he has taught something federal authorities saying I'm
breaking the law. What are you going to do? I'm
the governor of New Jersey. Well, Tom Holman had some

(14:09):
very sharp words in response to this. Let's play cut
sixty three. Tom Holman, borders are responding to Governor Murphy
sixty three.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
I think the government's pretty foolish. Same way say, because
I've gotten hold of it, we'll let it go. We'll
look into it. And if he's normally normally harboring, concealing
and illiegu alien, that's a violation on Title Wait and
I says Cold thirteen twenty four, I would seek prosecution
or the secretary will seek prosecution. So maybe he's bluffing.

(14:43):
If he's not, we'll deal with that. And as far
as soon sanctuary cities, we'll get in line, because the
Trump administration is going to do that already. Sanctuary cities
are sanctuary for criminals.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
We have no choice if Governor Murphy is breaking federal
law and taunting and provoking. The FEDS just file an indictment.
You don't have to raid the governor's mansion. You don't
have to make some big spectacle. But you have no choice.
You don't get to selectively choose which immigration laws you're
going to live under.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
And of course that was Murphy and Homan speaking on
the Charlie Kirkshow, which you can see every day here
at noon. Now Governor Murphy's office is backtracking and saying
he may not have had an immigrant in his home
illegal immigrant after all. Okay, so much for good old
Phil becoming the new Harriet Tubman. By the way, Harriet
Tubman when she was saving slaves didn't taunt the government

(15:32):
about how she was saving slaves. She was working in secret.
Phil Murphy's not that smart. And now for our moment
of smiles, I'll try to provide one every day. I
very much got a smile when I saw this ex
post from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. He says December
was the best month for military recruitment for the US
in twelve years. Not just the best December, the best

(15:54):
month period. Gee, what happened just before December? That may
have spurred that result. Could it have been the Trump
election victory and the chances for a cognizant commander in chief.
Perhaps we'll never know. Yes we do. That's exactly what
it was, all right. Remember when now former Senator Ben
Sass was writing books about how we should be better behaved,
and then he went on to distance him self from

(16:14):
the great unwashed hordes of MAGA. Remember him, Ben Sass,
mister better than the rest of us. Well, it turns
out that during SAS's brief tenure as president of the
University of Florida, he authorized all kinds of very fishy
salaries and other perks for his buddies. That's on top
of the massive salary he took for himself. Behold everyone,

(16:35):
our moral and intellectual superiors. Here's a hot tip. Everyone.
I want every want to listen to this. Don't ever
take morality lessons or scolding from a politician. That's not
their job. Leave that to your parents, your clergymen, maybe
a loved one. Politicians are never qualified to do it anyway.

(16:56):
Ben Sass has ruined his brand as mister goodye two shoes,
but someone else in politics will try to take that
mantle soon. Enough, I promise you. But now you've been warned,
don't fall for it. By all means, be good to
each other, be an adult. If you need someone who
runs for office to tell you that it's not so good,
lesson learn. All right. Coming up, the reason why those

(17:17):
egg prices at your grocery store are so high is
because of the bird flu. We'll talk about that with
an expert about why this is so bad this time,
and how did Ferrari do during this past Christmas season,
and what's next for the gem of the Italian auto designers.
I'll have the details when American Sunrise drives right back
to you after this break. Oh my gosh, look at

(17:56):
this great live shot. I guess it's from the torch
of the Statue of Liberty right now. This is awesome
control room, Thank you so much. Hey, if you like
this shot, go rent or watch the movie Saboteur. It's
a Hitchcock movie and the last scene of the movie
is on the torch of the Statue of Liberty. I
didn't give anything away, I promise, it's just the location.
Great movie, and this is a great shot. All right.

(18:16):
Staying in New York, let's take a look at where
the markets will begin today. The stock markets not too good.
We've got some red arrows all the way there, except
for gold. You know, I said the other day they
were getting closer to three thousand dollars per ounce on gold,
and there we are almost at twenty nine hundred today.
There's another number I like though right now. Look at
crude oil at seventy one eighty six. It's going down
as well. I think we're going to see some relief

(18:37):
at the gas pump pretty soon. We already have it,
but I think we're gonna get under three dollars a
gallon if you're in one of those cities where you're
still over three. I can't speak for Los Angeles, but
some other cities. I think we're gonna get under three
dollars pretty soon. All right, Google parent alphabet is a
big reason why stocks we're looking to open it lower today.
There you see why the company reported weaker than expected revenues.

(18:58):
That's the money that comes in for the Christmas season,
and investors are also worried. Here's something to watch that
Google is spending too much money on AI. I have
one idea to help Google save money, stop spying on
me and others like me and reporting us on to
the DNC. Oh well, too late for that. Maybe you
should have saved your money on that crap. All right,
here's an interesting development. Shares of the big vaccine makers

(19:19):
are taking a hit thanks to RK Juniors now very
likely confirmation as the next secretary of the HHS. Pfizer
shares fell one percent yesterday. Maderna shares fell seven percent,
just to name two. I'll keep an eye on some
of the other companies that could see some problems thanks
to RK Junior's policies scrutinizing big pharma and big food.

(19:40):
But you know, it's been a long time since a
cabinet member of any kind has moved markets like this.
This is interesting, all right, It's time to start move
in America. General Motors is laying off roughly half of

(20:02):
the employees who remain at its discontinued Cruise robotaxi business.
Now this comes two months after GM said it would
no longer fund Cruise, even after it's spent more than
ten billion dollars on acquiring and developing the self driving
car business in twenty sixteen. Hey, everybody who's on a
on their high horse, about self driving though, let me
just say one thing. Unless you know someone who is disabled,

(20:22):
who can't get around, who doesn't live in a big
city where it's easy to get an uber or a cab,
stop hating on self driving cars. I understand that there's
some technology there that might make you a little nervous,
and they has to get better. But until you know
or are someone who is disabled and can't get around,
please stop dumping on self driving cars. This is liberating
for those people, so to be continued.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
All right.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Even NASCAR legends aren't immune to crime. A new report
says a car theft ring was finally nabbed by Michigan cops,
but not before they stole dozens of vehicles, including two
trucks owned by NASCAR legend Jack Rousch. The thefts are
part of a nationwide trend. By the way, worthie are
now focusing on dealership lots and company motor pools rather

(21:04):
than private home driveways or public parking lots. So they're
not coming after your car at your house or when
you go out to a restaurant anymore. They're going for
company parking lots. Interesting, all right. The folks at Ferrari
are smiling this morning after reporting better than expected Christmas
seas and profits and sales. Hey, I'd be smiling just
because I worked at Ferrari, but that's just me. And
they are also upgrading their expectations for the coming year's

(21:27):
profits and Wall Street's happy. Another announcement from the company
is that it will unveil its first ever all electric
vehicle by October. I'm not sure how I feel about that,
but it will probably look cool. Ferrari shares closed seven
percent higher yesterday, and by the way, Ferrari has the
best stock ticker symbol ever. It's Race Race. You can't
beat that all right. Now, from Ferrari's to the situation

(21:51):
at the grocery store. As you know, I'm about to
get to my obsession with egg prices again. You know,
I've been talking about it for weeks. It's not just
my obsession. The rising costs are even pushing some of
restaurant chains to add special surch charges when you order
eggs on the menu. Of course, this is all because
of the bird flu epidemic and I want to get
to the bottom of this. Joining us now to do

(22:11):
that is Montana Riggs. She's assistant professor of Animal Science
at Penn State University, Professor Riggs, Can you start by
explaining why this bird flu situation is worse than the
ones we've seen in the past, because we've seen this before, haven't.

Speaker 7 (22:23):
We Yes, So that's a great question. So one of
the big reasons that this has kind of been a
bad year or two for bird flu is this recombination
in the genome of the current flu strand. Now, so
bird flu is an influenza, a type virus similar to
the flu that we get, but the actual subtype of

(22:46):
the bird flu is H five and one, and the
recombinant genome that we've seen in this strain, the specific
little details of it that increase its virulence have increased
and become extremely ver among wild birds. Now, wild birds
are the transmitters of avian influenza. We have wild waterfowl specifically,

(23:09):
so ducks, geese, and then they're going over their migrational pattern.
They're flying above large flocks of birds poultry, for example,
and it is spread through fecal matter, through the birds
being present, through respiratery, airways, anything that can essentially make
contact with these poultry. And that's why it's really hard
to avoid because it is waterfowl flying above and it's

(23:32):
really hard to stop. Now, this specific virus that's out
right now is super virulent and it is really hard
to contaminate because these wild birds are being contaminated with
it but not getting sick. They are just spreading it.
So we've had a major increase in this spread from
the wild waterfowl. And on top of that, we've also

(23:54):
seen that the virus has been transmitting to dairy cattle
and to pig herd herds of swine. Now, the dairy
cattle itself, there has been no confirmed cases of dairy
cattle realistically infecting chicken. We're looking for that specific strain
that's found in dairy cattle, but it could be a
problem potentially in the future. So it's causing a lot
of market disruption because it's infecting lots of different species

(24:17):
beyond just poultry.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Right, Can you can you tell us what can be
done about this? I mean, I'm sure there's a million
things you could say, but what has to be maybe
the top one or two priorities to stop this.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Yeah, So when it comes to actual producers and producers
of eggs and poultry meat, biosecurity and getting testing, testing,
testing done, contacting your state facilities, your state agriculture department,
or your state veterinarian and having testing done. They're very
vigilant about it, and they're willing to come out to

(24:50):
your farms and test for you, and if it is
a positive, managing those positive cases and making sure that
those birds are taken care of and that are no
potential increase of spread. A lot of times it can
be spread from a farm worker just on their clothes,
so making sure they're going from barn to barn and

(25:11):
changing their clothes using proper biosecurity, sanitizing any trucks or
cargo wheels that are coming through. Literally just getting out
and spraying would be fine, but just having really good
biosecurity systems in practice and making sure we're kind of
decontent escalating that spread from farm to farm, or even

(25:32):
just from poultry house to poultry house on the same site.
When it comes to backyard poultry people and people who
just have poultry in their backyard and keeping that kind
of contaminated, i should say, or non contaminated and contained,
making sure that if your birds are sick, you're reporting
it immediately and trying to let make sure your birds

(25:53):
aren't outside as much, making sure that we're kind of
keeping them away from those migrating flocks that are all
over right now, and containing that as best we can.
Changing your clothes, kind of sterilizing your shoes with different products.
I know there's some different products out there that you
can just step in a foot bath, and just making
sure you're reducing that spread at all, and just kind

(26:16):
of being really vigilant about that while we wait for
this to pass. If it does pass, and it will pass,
if good biosecurity is in practice.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
And if you are a sick bird, please don't be
book yourself as a guest on my show. I'll kidding aside,
though I have it just about thirty seconds. Can you
tell us if there's anything other than sticker shock at
the grocery store that could be a result of this,
I mean, what are some of the things that could
happen if this doesn't get contained well.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
One of the kind of issues that I guess the
CDC and different people are looking at right now is
if it could potentially be a high risk to humans.
Of course, that's always going to be a slight risk
with any type of influenza, especially influenza A that is
being spread right now, it is not easily transmissible to humans,

(27:04):
and those people who are sick, it's very hard to
transmit us to other humans as well. That's not to
say it couldn't potentially mutate in the future, which is
why we want to keep this as contained as possible.
But for now, it's typically compromised people to who are
at risk and making sure that again we're vigilant about
keeping our.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Backyard birds safe and our flocks.

Speaker 7 (27:26):
I would also recommend avoiding, and this is kind of
common sense, but just saying it, avoiding raw poultry eggs,
and right now because of it being in dairy cattle,
avoiding unpasteurized milk, and if you do want unpasteurized milk,
boiling it before you consume it.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Excellent tips. All right, Professor Montana Riggs from Penn State University,
thanks so much for joining us. I feel a little
bit more calm right now. However, if I see any
more nine dollars cartons of eggs, I'm going to call
you right back. Thank you so much. All right. Of course,
coming up that earthquake you're still probably feeling, is that
news conference last night with President Trump talking about the
US taking over Gaza. Talked about that with Benjaminintanyago. We'll

(28:05):
try to get a handle on that just ahead. And
what about those anti Israel hate bests on our college campuses.
We'll look at how the Trump team is tackling that
as well. American Sunrise will be right back. It's Wednesday,

(28:33):
February fifth. Here are some of the top stories this morning.
President Trump meant it when he said we'll be sending
the worst illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay, because now it
is happening. The first flight of the most dangerous criminals
landed yesterday. It was also a very big day for
President Trump's cabinet team. Pam Bomady was confirmed as Attorney General,
and RFK Junior, Tulci Gabbard and Cash Pttel cleared some

(28:56):
key hurdles. Every day we find out new outrages committed
by the Biden administration. Here's the latest, A total of
five thousand agents we're assigned to busting J six protesters.
Wasn't there any other crime the FBI and the deep
state thought might be a little bit more important? No,
And President Trump says the US will take over the

(29:19):
Gaza Strip or should we call it the Maga Strip.
His comments have caused an earthquake. American Sunrise Early Edition continues. Now,
welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition. I'm Jake Novak,
so glad you chose to join us this morning. Let's
get right to the big story of the day. President

(29:39):
Trump says the US will take over the Gaza Strip.
Let's hear the full quote in context.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we
will do a job with it too.

Speaker 8 (29:51):
Well.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the
dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site. Level
the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level
it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited
numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.

(30:12):
Do a real job to something different. Just can't go back.
If you go back, it's going to end up the
same way it has for one hundred years.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Joining me now is Israeli history and military expert Rabbi
utah laof Rabbi I don't think anyone was expecting this,
but let me float one idea by you. Hey, this
is what my idea the US already owns Gaza because
no nation has plunged more money and capital of other
kinds into Gaza than the US. And if this were
a bankruptcy proceeding, we'd be given all the assets. Anyway,

(30:43):
Am I wrong.

Speaker 9 (30:46):
On that level? Purely economic? Yes, that's an interesting observation.
But now I mean, I like you to say what
I think is remarkable here is not just the economic part.
President Trump has changed the discussion. People don't realize that
the term Palestinian Arabs was not used in Resolution two

(31:07):
four two, was not used in Resolution three three eight,
and everything that's been tried since then, most importantly the
Oslo Accords have been in absolute horrible failure, not just
for Israel but for the Arabs who live in Gaza,
for the Arabs who live in Judaan Samaria, not only
has it not worked, it has made their lives worse,
first under Hamas rule in Gaza and under PA rule

(31:29):
in ju Daan Samaria. And what Trump is saying is
we're going to move in a new direction, because the
whole direction was a horror show. It was simply what
people don't remember. The Gaza has been under either PA
rule or Hamas rule since nineteen ninety four. Okay, it's
thirty one years. Judaan Samaria Areas A and B have

(31:53):
been under PA rule since nineteen ninety six. So Trump
is saying none of that works. Let's move in a
different direction.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
You know.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
And I think you're right about the changing of the language.
I was talking at the top of the show. We
are no longer talking about the gods and people as
a nascent state anymore. I mean, now we're talking about
where we're going to put them. We're going to talk
about who's going to administer it. I think that that's
a good change of the conversation because you talked about
nineteen ninety four. As you and I well know, since
nineteen ninety three, there have been twelve or thirteen offers

(32:25):
of pathways to statehood and they've all failed as well.
So not talking about statehood anymore is a good change
of the conversation. Rabi, I want to ask you about
the special relationship Israel has with President Trump, because that's
a real elephant in the room here. Because President Trump
can say things like this and Israelis I think the
wide majority of them really trust him, even though he's

(32:46):
saying something that they weren't expecting. Can you talk about
how that is how Israelis look at President Trump and
the things he says and does.

Speaker 9 (32:53):
I think the majority of israelis probably even a higher
percentage than Americans like and approve of President Trump. If
he was to run for Prime Minister of Israel, in theory,
he'd probably get about seventy percent or so with a vote.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
That's my guess.

Speaker 9 (33:08):
The fact is he's not a politician. He's a doer.
He's a man who has visionary has ideas. He may
not like them, clearly if you're from the left, but
he's already proven to Israel that he's a man of
his word. The fact that he moved the embassy to
Jerusalem was a remarkable shift in policy, and everybody who
was an expert that claimed this would bring a cataclysmic

(33:30):
end to the world and the Middle East was wrong.
He did it, nothing happened, It was the right move.
More countries are following. He finally annexed, He gave his
recognized Israel's annexation of the Goal on Heights, which is
ten times more important now that we've had that entire
revolution in Syria, which is now Julani whether people understand

(33:53):
it or not, is still a member of the jihadi
Islamic Sunni world in Israel. Now having to go on
is recognized by the United States is a big deal.
He's a man who's seen by Israelis as a realist,
a doer, a friend, and someone who to a great
extent many of the more conservative Sunny Arab countries trust

(34:16):
as well.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Jota Eliot, let's work. Let's talk about the work to
get other nations to take the Palestinians in, because it's
not going to be easy. There are even reports that
the Egyptians are moving tanks up through the Sinai to
try to stop any mass migration of Palestinians into their country.
Can you explain why they would do that and is
there anything that can be done to change their minds?

Speaker 9 (34:40):
Well, I just want to put quickly the Egyptian the
Egyptian build up militarily has been going on for months
and months and months in Sinai. They've been violating the
treaty for a very very long time. I'm not sure
if this new violation is necessarily just to stop the Gossons.
It could be, but I think at the end of
the day, Here are some numbers that may make it

(35:03):
possible for Egypt to pay attention. Number one, American has
given Egypt approximately eighty billion dollars in eight since nineteen
seventy eight since the peace, treating fifty billion in military
thirty billion in economic. Egypt cannot afford to tick off
the United States, certainly not President Frum, who's a man

(35:24):
of his word, as we've seen the last few weeks.
When people cross him, when countries decide not to follow
what he thinks and I agree with are fair. So
I don't think the Egyptians can just say no. Eighty
billion dollars and more on the way is not something
the Egyptians can afford to say, sorry pal. Number two.

(35:45):
A little known fact outside of the Middle East. During
this war, close to one hundred and forty thousand Arabs
from Gaza were allowed to pass into Sinai when they
paid eight thousand dollars ahead to a comp and guess
who ran that company, CC's Sun. So it seems to

(36:05):
be that for the right price, Egypt can be persuaded
to take people.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Yeah, well, that's an interesting travel agency. When you're the
son of the dictator of Egypt. Hey, Rabe Aliah. Meanwhile,
the situation in Judaian Samari, Judaea Samaria people, some people
call it the West Bank. It's dicey as well. Right now,
Israeli forces have had to start demolishing buildings to stop
terrorists from getting a stronger foothold there. What can you
tell us about that situation, because that seems like that's

(36:33):
a boiling point right now too.

Speaker 9 (36:36):
At the end of the day, Judan Samaria are no different,
I'm sorry to say, than Gaza or South Lebanon. There
has been a large terror infrastructure that has been built
in Judaan Samaria, and it's the same power behind it
that's funding them and arming them, and that's Iran. If
you look at a map, they've been sneaking immunition from

(36:59):
Iran through be Rock, through Syria, and then you look
at the northeast border of Israel where Israel, Syria and
Jordan all meet, and they've been smuggling in anti tank missiles, RPGs, mortars,
tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of grenades, and all
sorts of arms over the last few years. And what

(37:21):
we have is several terrorist armies operating in Judan Samaria.
It's come to the attension of the media recently. But
in Israel it's been a NonStop war in Judan Samaria.
Do not be surprised if it's going to end up
looking like the war in Gaza. That is a very
real possibility.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
You know, I want to get back to Gaza just
for a second, because you know, here in the United States,
people are very creative. I always say people are funny,
and thank God for that. But you know, we've seen memes,
We've seen all kinds of jokes. People call me said,
now we're going to call it Mara Gaza. We're going
to call it the Maga Strip. There's been mockups of
Trump hotels on the beaches of Gaza. But all joking aside.

(38:02):
If a nations like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab
Emirates and maybe Oman and Bahrain put some money into
the development of the Gaza Strip, with the United States
and the Israelis acting as people to make sure the
terrorists don't infiltrate as much. I mean, let's just have
a moment of optimism here, just for a second. What
could could the Gaza Strip be in the future under

(38:24):
that kind of paradigm In your mind.

Speaker 9 (38:28):
I think the term that used to be used when
there was optimism was it could be a Singapore now
basically a very wealthy well to do. The question is
who is going to be the population that lives there.
That's a question mark. The Gazans are not going to
be there, so is it going to be some sort
of a special zone predominantly for Israelis which includes Israeli Arabs,

(38:52):
Israeli Bedouin, Israeli Druze. I don't know who else would
be the population there right now in terms of realistically
and security wise. Number two, not to put a damper
on all of this, but all of the before the
United States comes into bulldoze, flatten it and turn it
into Gaza Lago or Singapore, the terrorists have to be dismantled.

(39:19):
I'm not sure that this agreement that exists right now
with Hamas is going to live all the way through
to the end. I don't think TAMAS can afford to
give up every single one of the hostages because that's
the end of their survival, that's their that's their insurance policy.
And don't forget there are still one hundreds of miles
of tunnels underneath Gaza that still have to be destroyed.

(39:41):
So before all of this development takes place and the
bulldozers come in, Tamas has to be destroyed, which means
it's an unpleasant thing to bring up this. The war
in Goza may have to continue. I don't know how
long this agreement is going to actually last, but at
a certain point, if you've been watching, and I'm sure
you have, Jake Hamas is trying to send the message

(40:03):
we're still here, we're armed, we got our white you know,
the same pickups that we use to massacre people in
October seventh. There's been a lot of trauma in Israel,
not to mention how many murderers have been let out.
It's not so simple. And Gaza can be rebuilt. When
Gaza is going to be the Hamasa's dismantled, that has

(40:25):
to happen for us.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
Yeah, well, at least now there's a president in Washington
who will not tie Israel's hands as much as Biden did,
so that's a good development. Rabbiotev Aliyah is the author
of the book Judaism, Zionism, and the Land of Israel.
Everyone check it out, really check it out this book
because it will answer a lot of questions that you have,
and every chapter can be like one lesson for you.
Thank you so much for joining.

Speaker 9 (40:48):
Us, Thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
All Right, coming up, David Brody is about to join
us from the Big Show, and boy are his wings tired.
I'll explain when American Sunrise comes. Right. That is a

(41:17):
live shot of Niagara Falls, and that is why, by
the way, for those of you who don't know, this
is why Buffalo is becoming a booming economic market. Niagara
Falls is the reason why Buffalo has very cheap electric power,
the cheapest in the country. And so if you are
doing AI or any other kind of tech business, you
want to have a presence in Buffalo. It saves you millions. Man,

(41:38):
Buffalo is booming if you can handle the snow and
a football team that's sort of always disap points in
the playoffs, but is a good team anyway, you might
want to check Buffalo out. All right, welcome back, David
Brody is here, and I want to talk about the
break neck pace of the news coming out of this
White House. I had a follower on Twitter on twitter
X last night called Donald Trump rebel without a pause,

(42:02):
So I'm officially stealing that line. I'm not saying I
created it, but I'm going to use that line because
I think this is actually important and I think it's
also a strategy. You know, yesterday we had all this
huge news about Israel and the President talking about Gaza,
but we also had confirmation hearing news. We also had
news about the USAID which on the hour we're hearing
about more crazy expenditures. We also had a story, by

(42:24):
the way, which I haven't had a chance to get to,
about how President Trump is offering everyone at the CIA,
every single person, a buyout. I'm catching my breath. I
know you're feeling the same way. Do you think this
is a strategy, because I think it might be.

Speaker 10 (42:37):
So here's the thing, Jake, I agree with you that
that there's some and that's the key, some strategy involved here.

Speaker 8 (42:43):
There's no doubt about that.

Speaker 10 (42:46):
Because let's be clear, the Bonnie Rait song from back
in the day, let's give them something to talk about.
I mean, Donald Trump loves to do that, right. I mean,
it's not just flood the zone.

Speaker 8 (42:55):
It's not just.

Speaker 10 (42:56):
About that, because that's the easy narrative, flood the zone
and get the media kind of scramble and that's fine.
I mean, that's part of the strategy. But Trump loves
to be in the headlines. Trump always wants to kind
of make sure that he's the story and that and.

Speaker 8 (43:09):
Let's be honest, I say, he's the story.

Speaker 10 (43:11):
I know, make America great again America first, that's fine,
but let's be on Let's get to.

Speaker 8 (43:15):
The narcissistic nature of this. Okay.

Speaker 10 (43:17):
He loves to be in the headlines and he loves
to drive the media nuts with it. Right, So that's
part of the strategy. But I gotta tell you, I
think there's something much bigger here, and it's very simple.

Speaker 8 (43:28):
This is who Trump is. He lives his life this way, right.

Speaker 10 (43:31):
In other words, he's just extrapulating his life into his
work environment. So what you see every day, NonStop, that's Trump.
We always talk about Trump going NonStop, that there's twenty
four year olds in the campaign trail that need a
break and they can't keep up with this seventy eight
year old man.

Speaker 8 (43:48):
It's because he just does not ever stop.

Speaker 10 (43:52):
And I'm not even talking about executive orders and policy.
I'm talking about in his life. He just keeps going.
And so I think think that is really the overarching
element that we have going on here. I remember being
on his golf course with him. This was back in
twenty fifteen. It was actually October, excuse me, September of
twenty fifteen. He had just glided down the Escalator a

(44:14):
couple of months before that to announce for president. He
invited out to invited us out to his golf club
in Los Angeles, and we're there on the eighteenth green,
were watching him kind of do everything there on his
golf course.

Speaker 8 (44:28):
And he just told me we were literally riding the
golf cart.

Speaker 10 (44:30):
Well, maybe we get that video. We'll show it to
you next time. We're literally riding the golf cart. And
I asked him about his life and how he views
his life, and he said, look, he goes.

Speaker 8 (44:40):
I just work NonStop.

Speaker 10 (44:41):
I work all the time he goes, and I love
it he goes because I don't see it as work.
This is just who I am. It's just in his DNA,
and it's true. And we already knew this about Trump.
But I do think, Jake, that that illuminates a little
bit of this not just being.

Speaker 8 (44:54):
A strategy for him. It's a way of life.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
And I think that's important to understand, and we're doing
life lessons with David Brody, but I'm sorry, I'm going
to fill us to come. I'm gonna do it too.
I'm gonna do it too, David, because you know as
the as a son of a clergyman who grew up
going to funerals a lot as a kid. That's what
happens when you're the son of a clergyman. By the way,
you go to a lot more funerals and weddings. I'm
sorry to say, I can't tell you how in the
nineteen seventies as a preteen, how many times I went

(45:19):
to the funerals of men who were within one or
two years of their retirement. And it's a little bit
of a life lesson. You don't have to keep the
frenetic pace of a Donald Trump, but don't stop moving
as a human being. Even you know, it doesn't mean
you have to go to an office nine to five
for the rest of your life, but you have to
have something that gets you out of bed every morning
and keeps you literally busy. Speaking of keeping busy, David,

(45:41):
what's coming up on the show on the Big Show
American Sunrise.

Speaker 10 (45:44):
I will get to that in two seconds. Let me
just quickly say to that point, this is the other
side of it. I won't get into all of the
details here, but it's in a book I wrote call
The Faith of Donald Trump. I had dinner with Donald
Trump back in twenty fifteen. Is me and my wife
and Melanie and Donald Trump. And he asked me. The
first question he asked me, he goes, how's your marriage?

(46:06):
First question he asked me.

Speaker 8 (46:07):
I said, I don't know how Mine's fine. How's yours?

Speaker 10 (46:09):
No, I didn't say that, but you know, look he said,
because don't do what I did.

Speaker 8 (46:14):
Don't do what I did.

Speaker 10 (46:15):
He goes, I work all the time, and you know,
it really hurt me personally.

Speaker 8 (46:20):
In my life. So it was just a fascinating conversation. Anyhow.

Speaker 10 (46:23):
The point is is that you have to have the
balance too. Works important, but family first.

Speaker 8 (46:28):
Okay, what's coming up on the show?

Speaker 10 (46:30):
Congressman Jim Jordan, the House Judiciary Committee Chairman, will be
with us today Brian Glenn at the White House, And
of course I'm trying to beg for more airtime on
the show, so hopefully.

Speaker 8 (46:38):
That works out. I am staging a coup.

Speaker 10 (46:40):
As we speak, Jaco. It's behind the scenes coup. It's
my January sixth, so to speak. That's according to.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
The liberal media, hopefully bleddless. All right, I'm Jake Novec.
This has been American Sunrise Early ddition. Stay tuned for
