Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ahead on American Sunrise early edition. Search and rescue efforts
continue in Texas As now more than one hundred people
are confirmed dead from the devastating floods along the Guadalupe River.
There are also new details about why the most badly
affected county did not opt for a modern flood warning system.

(00:24):
The war is getting nastier on the men and women
doing their duty to detain and deport illegal aliens. A
man trying to kill Ice Border Patrol officers started a
shooting attack at their headquarters in McCallen, Texas, yesterday, but
he was killed when officers shot back. President Trump and
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nittagnejo meet again, and this time

(00:47):
Nittagnejo had a special president for mister Trump, a nominating
letter for the Nobel Peace Prize. Outrage and disbelief continue
to fester in response to the Justice Apartments official statement
that Jeffrey Epstein did commit suicide and there was no
so called client list. But is this really the end

(01:08):
of the story and it's official? New York City had
no shootings or murders on July fourth, for the first
time in recorded history, But will that be enough to
help incumbent Mayor Eric Adams keep his job. American Sunrise
Early Edition begins now.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition, the show where faith, freedom,
and the values that built this nation takes centers.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Your good deeds and bad deeds. That's how we're gonna
judge you.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories
that met.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We will be letting the public know regularly what we
have found.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
American Sunrise Early Edition with your host Jake Novak, starts now.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Welcome to this Tuesday here in American Sunrise Early Edition.
I'm Jake Novak, and yes it's true. They've checked all
the records. Now, he needed a couple of days to
be sure. No shootings, no murders in New York City
on July fourth, first time in recorded history. Let that
sink in. I guess it's kind of a good story,
but also a lot of sad commentary on the last

(02:21):
several decades. But still that is true, and maybe that
will turn the corner for this city and give people
a reason to vote for Eric Adams. I don't know,
but that's what's going on here in New York. But
we need to talk still about what's going on in Texas,
two major stories going on there and helping me do
that now is retired with the tenant, Colonel Larry Brock. He's
also a candidate to the Texas State Assembly, and he

(02:43):
joins us he's on vacation right now, but wasn't just
having fun yesterday. He walked the course of the Guadalupe
River looking at some of that devastation. He's pretty close
to the epicenter of that flooding disaster in Texas. So
the first thing I needed to ask you, you were there,
you saw it. Give us some of your lessions of
what you saw yesterday and your overall thoughts on the

(03:03):
story now that we're hearing that the most affected county
in Texas understandably, Listen, everyone wants to save the taxpayers money.
There isn't infinite money going around in every county. But
apparently they had a chance to get some more modern
warning systems for floods. Don't know if that would have
saved a lot of lives or not, but probably would
have made things a little better, but they couldn't afford it,

(03:25):
or they decided they couldn't do it. So your thoughts
on all of that this morning Colonel brock Well.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
First of all, Jacob, thank you again for having me.
The river really rose rapidly, according to people that were
actually there. From what I could tell from looking at
the debris, the normal river elevation level, it was about
forty foot higher. That's almost impossible to calculate for They
say it was two feet below a bridge that was

(03:51):
forty five feet above the water. I saw a debris
along the fence line that would validate that. I spent
the better part of yesterday afternoon with a team led
by Fire Marshall Colton, and we were doing search and
rescue operations on the north side. And the good thing
is there were Texans all out on the north side
and south sides of the river looking for bodies or

(04:12):
hopefully any survivor that might be there. I do think
that a warning system would be appropriate. I spoke with
a lot of first responders yesterday and what they said
is there need to be some type of sirens put
out into these low lying areas, and also that the
children or anybody there should have access to a life

(04:33):
vest and be briefed on an evacuation plan that's pretty
low cost, pretty low tech, and with a twenty four
billion dollars Rainy Day fund from the last legislative session.
The Texas Legislature can definitely get around to that the
next time around. You know, nationally, we're seeing the Democrats
take advantage of this to try and embarrass President Trump. Locally,

(04:54):
we're seeing the Democrats and the press try to embarrass
the Conservatives and the Texas House of Representatives. It's the
same playbook. It all derives from Olinsky's rules for radicals.
You know, Ram Emmanuel, you never want a serious crisis
to go to waste, and they're trying not to this time.
But the National Weather Service cuts weren't scheduled to take
effect until next year, so that had no impact on it.

(05:16):
The National Weather Service had been tracking the storm twelve
hours prior. They issued two warnings, both of which occurred
at one am and four am, you know, of flash floods.
So you know, I don't know what more could have
been done other than the sirens and the life veest.
And I hope that Texas takes action this time to
fix that.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah, And by the way, from what I'm hearing from
polsters and what I'm looking at my own data, this
blame game is not getting anywhere near as much traction
as some people think. It's not working. The American people
are see this for what it is. They've had a
lot of experience with this. You know, this has been
going on since Katrina. It worked. It worked to a
large degree in Katrina blaming a Republican in the White House.

(05:58):
It was exactly what they tried then. It worked then,
but that was twenty years ago, and I think people
have had enough of that now. Colonel Texas had another
serious issue yesterday, this horrible incident McCallen, Texas. Now I'm sorry,
I didn't mean it was the headquarters of the Border Patrol.
It was sort of their annex. It was basically a
building where they go in and file reports. But a
man in combat fatigues or combat gear with the rifle

(06:21):
tried to kill Border Patrol agents there coming in and
out of the building. A police officer who was there
was shot and injured. He's in stable condition, but luckily
no one was killed among the Border Patrol or any cops.
But the shooter was killed when the Border Patrol returned fire.
And of course this is getting everyone talking about what
has been a very obvious, very very severe rhetorical attack

(06:45):
on Border patrol agents and ICE agents across this country.
Not just people in protests with mass on or crazies
like that, elected officials calling these people Nazis, calling them stormtroopers.
And I'm sorry, but I think we're gonna see more
of this, And I know there's reports of another part
of Texas where there's an Antifa cell that has been

(07:05):
working to attack these people. Your thoughts on how to
push back on this more than just tell people, hey,
stop calling officers of the law Nazis is going to
get them killed.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Well, I mean they've seen a seven hundred percent increase
in rise against violence against the ICE agents. So you know,
the FBI took pretty serious action on what they considered
a threat, you know, in the January sixth event. So
I would like to see a similar type of movement
again respecting civil rights. But you know, these Antifa agents

(07:38):
are known to law enforcement and they need to be
called in. You know, I think we need to sit
back and actually look at the level of vitriol that
are going against these men and women trying to do
their duty in the Border Patrol and in ICE. You know,
they've been given a task by the President. They're doing
what is legal and lawful, and so for them to

(07:58):
be called Nazis is just irresponsible. And again, at what
point do we start holding people accountable for defaming law
enforcement officers that are just doing their job. I would
like to see a more serious investigation. I believe Governor
Rabbit should let the Texas Rangers go after these people
and these cells that are advocating for violence against law enforcement.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yeah, and I want to clarify something. I don't think
that the terrible things these people are saying about border
patrol ages and ice convinces a person like yesterday to
go kill them. What I do think it does is
it sends a message to them that they might get
away with it, that they might find a place to hide,
that they might get support if they do this, and
they might have or even just leniency when they're sentenced.

(08:45):
Here's what White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt had to
say about that whole situation. An armed shooter.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
FAG was shot in account Texas after opening fire on
border patrol agents. That comes just days after Democratic Congress
went for me at Jiapaul recently said she gets quote
inspired when activists obstruct ICE, So a White House expect
Democrats to tone down their rhetoric in the light of
what we saw today in account in Texas.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
We certainly call on Democrats to tone down their rhetoric
against ICE and Border Patrol agents, who again are everyday
men and women. I would encourage AOC and other Democrats
to actually meet with the United States Border Patrol. These
are honorable Americans who are just simply trying to do
their job to enforce the law. They go home to
their families every night, just like we all do, and

(09:30):
they deserve respect and dignity for trying to enforce our
nations immigration laws and to remove public safety threats from
our communities. The White House is aware of the shooting
that took place today in Texas, and we are working
with the appropriate federal agencies to get to the bottom
of what happened.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Colonel let's talk about the American people here for a second.
But this is a part of the equation that is
not reported on enough. I did it yesterday, but there
were a number of polls that were released in the
last few days about the deporte to be illegal immigrants
and the weakest support for deporting all illegal immigrants. Was
a New York Times poll that showed it fifty five
percent of Americans support the deportation of all illegal aliens.

(10:13):
And it wasn't forty five percent of posed because there
were a number of people who were undecided. It was
less than forty percent. That's a pretty clear majority. It
looks like it's a lot more, like more than sixty
percent of Americans support the deportation of all illegal immigrants.
This is a huge, huge stretch for Democrats to say, oh,
these people are Nazis when most of the country is

(10:34):
in favor of what they're doing.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I absolutely agree, Jake, And you know, especially in Texas,
we're definitely forward is. Our systems, our schools are impacted
by this.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
You know.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I again, we see a party that takes an unpopular
position all the time, in the Democrats. And you know,
I believe it was you that said one of President
Trump's powers is to make them take the minority position
again and again and again. With the American people. You know,
we have got to basically stand up as a people
and tell these groups that are advocating for violence, tell

(11:07):
these groups that are calling them Nazis to stop. You
know that they are executing the will of the people.
Why is it that when we win an election we
suddenly get branded Nazis, yet when they win an election
we get told to stop protesting. It doesn't I don't
understand the difference, and I don't understand why the press

(11:27):
isn't more honest and how it reports things.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Well, they're also really lazy. I mean sometimes people say, well,
don't attribute to evil, what is just stupidity, But it's
also laziness. I can tell you that the talking points
that we see in the mainstream media are distributed, they're
sent out in emails by advocacy groups and they just
parrot it. And if you turn on the mainstream media
at any given hour, they are not only doing the
same story at the same time, but they're using the

(11:52):
same buzzwords. Again, I worked in a lot of these newsrooms.
I ran shows, and a lot of these newsrooms. Did
my best to keep this kind of stuff. But I
can tell you laziness, intellectual laziness that physically they show
up for hours and they work hard. I'm from a
physical standpoint, From an intellectual standpoint, not so much. Colonel Brock,
I only have about twenty seconds left. But what do
you think is going to happen going forward with this

(12:14):
Jeffrey Epstein declaration. I guess from the DOJ, I know
it's getting a lot of people angry. I think it
goes beyond just MAGA people. I think that a lot
of people in the country are angry about this. Do
you think that there is a well, of course peaceful
we want to stay consistent here. Of course we want
a peaceful response to this. But what do you think
is the smartest response to what they've been shown? You know,

(12:34):
I guess people feel like this has been shoved down
their throats now, you.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Know, Jake, I've been thinking a lot about this, and
I think it is entirely unacceptable to the American people
that we have thrown two people in jail for trafficking
someone that essentially the victims have been identified, the people
that organized it have been identified, and yet the John's
if you will, that participated in it are being protect

(13:00):
and silent. That's not the way our republic is designed
to function. And I believe the government is going to
have to release some names. I believe, you know, they'll
do what they can to minimize the names.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
But you know, if.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
President Trump was to actually release this list. I think
it would definitely assist him because we the American people,
deserve transparency on this and I think we all feel
like our leaders are on this list, you know, our senators,
our congressman, and it's got to be exposed. You know,

(13:35):
this cannot they cannot be. There cannot be a protected
class in a free and democratic republic.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah, it's as simple as that. I get the feeling
that the fear of massive, massive lawsuits, and we know
how those things can tie up our country might be
playing a role in this. But maybe someone should just
simply say, take the lawsuits. It'll embarrass you more than
it'll tie us up. I think that might be an
interesting strategy. We'll see where this goes. It's definitely not
the end of the story. The tenor, Colonel Larry Brock,

(14:05):
thank you so much for joining us. Enjoy the rest
of your vacation and all the backfinding you're doing during
that vacation. Thank you so much. Yes, sir, thank you
for having me on again. All Right, If you think
high mortgage rates are just an issue for the real
estate market, think again. A little later. I'll look at
how shrinking home ownership damages all of America's culture. This

(14:26):
really has a lot of bad effects. And anytime anyone
tries to cut government budgets, the status always insists children
will starve and die. You know that line. But this
time one state politician has outsmarted the doomsayers when it
comes to school funding. That story and more. When American
Sunrise Early Edition comes right now, Welcome back to American

(15:12):
Sunrise Early Aditional liveshot of the White House and those
new flagpoles which also serve as my weather forecasters. Again,
no breeze in DC this morning. Not much going on there.
Another humid day in DC. People used to leave that
city in droves in the summer. Used to be used
to empty out. But now that our taxpayer money has
paid for all these fun things to do in the

(15:32):
summer in DC, even for the locals, it's still crowded
in the summer. Welcome back again, and especial welcome to
those of you on Getter and Rumble who are already
up and commenting on the show. The latest reboot of
the Superman franchise is coming out this week at the
movie theaters, and director James Gunn is making sure to
say all the things that will now make it easy

(15:52):
for me not to go see this film. James Gunn
saying that the film about Superman is actually about an
immigrant who came here from somewhere else to America, and
that he's very concerned that America has lost its basic kindness.
This is coming from James Gunn, who famously posted jokes
about the Holocaust and other really lovely things. He had

(16:13):
to say. It lost him a job for a while,
but now they brought him back. He is the head
of the DC Studios and personally directed this film. You know,
Superman has always been about making Americans feel better about themselves,
not scolding us and making us feel worse. And I
don't think that Superman, a character who comes to America
or comes to the Earth to help fight crime, is

(16:36):
really something that's an agolous to the people who are
crossing the border, who are joined with Hezbollah or the
Chinese Communist Party. I mean, honestly, what about the kindness,
the basic human kindness to the people who live in
border towns, who have seen their schools and hospitals overrun
and their towns turned into areas of mayhem. There's no
kindness for them. You can skip this movie, folks, I

(16:58):
give you permission. Now here comes some thing really smart.
For years, any attempt to cut unnecessary administrative spending, especially
in schools, was met with claims that they would end
up harming the children. You guys know about this. School
lunches are often the human shield put in the way
of any serious proposed cuts, any sane proposed cuts. But

(17:20):
I want you to check out how Oklahoma's schools chief
Ryan Walters has done an end run around that. Check
this out. This is political genius.

Speaker 6 (17:28):
Today, I'm excited to announce that Oklahoma will be the
first day in the nation to require education funds to
go from administrator and bureaucrats pockets to school lunches. For
far too long, we have seen public schools take taxpayer
dollars that are there for students and continue to grow
administrative costs, then turning around and charging parents for school lunches. Listen, parents,

(17:53):
you're already triple taxed for kids' lunches. Number one, federal
dollars go to the school lunch program. Number two, local
taxes go to the school lunch program. And then schools
turn around and send you a bill again. You're being
triple taxed as parents, and we're not going to tolerate
it any longer. In Oklahoma.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
Today, I'm giving the director for every school in the
state of Oklahoma starting this school year, to cover all
of your.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
School lunch cost of school.

Speaker 7 (18:18):
Again, taxpayers, we have got to get away from growing government,
growing bureaucracy, growing administrators. We have too many administrators in schools.
We need less administrators and more of the taxpayer dollars
to go to kids directly.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Okay, I hope you'll understand how brilliant this is. Look
what Ryan Walters wants. He's this Oklahoma schools chief you
just saw in that SoundBite. What he wants to do
is cut the administrative budgets of the schools in Oklahoma.
But he knows that if he says I want you
to cut the budgets, those schools will come back with him,
come back to him and say, well, we can do that,

(18:55):
but if we do that, we're going to have to
charge parents more for school lunches. So they immediately use
school lunches as a human shield, even though that has
nothing to do with the administrative costs he wants to cut.
So he did an end run around them. He started
with the school lunches. He started talking about how he
wanted to take that cost away from parents, and they're
going to have to take that cost out of their
own administrative budget pockets. He went to that human shield

(19:16):
that they would have used and took it away from them.
This is really really smart.

Speaker 8 (19:20):
Now.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Controversy over school lunches in America is nothing new. This
has been going on since at least the late seventies.
The biggest controversy happened in nineteen ninety five when then
House Speaker Knew Gingrich pushed for what was called block rants,
block rants to go to the schools instead of specific
funding for school lunches. But this has been a battle
for a long time. Finally someone has been smart enough

(19:41):
to beat them at their own game. And Ryan Walters
is going to join us on this program tomorrow. I
don't know if he came up with this idea himself
or if he had a really really smart person working
for him, but understand, this is the way to get
around the human shielding strategy that democrats have been using
and status have been using for years to protect their
personal budgets. They use children as human shields. But if

(20:03):
you go to the children first and talk about supporting
them first. When you want to cut an administrative budget,
you can win. I'm going to be following the story
very closely. Okay, if you're stressed out about back taxes,
maybe you miss the April deadline or your books are
a mess, don't wait. The IRS is cracking down penalties

Let tax Network USA handle your tax issues coming up.
Stubbornly high mortgage rates in America are making a new
set of winners and losers in the world of finance.

(21:25):
But the real losers may be the human race itself.
I know that sounds dramatic, but hear me out. When
American Sunrise Early edition comes right back, Welcome back to

(21:47):
American Sunrise ear lyadership. That's the Capitol building. They're off,
they're on vacation, as you know. Let's take a look
at where the markets will begin today. We had a
big sell off yesterday, more than four hundred points down
on the now and we can see here it's going
to be a mixed day or mix open, I should say, uh.
And we're seeing mostly up hours but still down for
the Dow, crude oil flat at sixty seven. Let's look

(22:07):
at bitcoin and I checked it a moment ago, and
it's still in that window yet one hundred and eighty
nine hundreds still at the upper end of the window.
Been stuck between one o four and one ten for
a long time. If you think what Elon Musk is
doing with his New America Party is annoying to you.
Imagine how Tesla investors are feeling. Actually, you don't have
to imagine it. They're telling us in the way that

(22:29):
they're selling the stock. Tesla's shares were down more than
seven percent yesterday. Again, it's not necessarily a partisan thing here.
They're not upset about Elon Musk either not supporting President
Trump or supporting President Trump, or right or left. They're
upset that he's focusing more on politics. They thought he
was getting out. Remember he left his job running DOGE
a couple of months ago, and people at Tesla were

(22:50):
cheering that now he's getting back into politics. They don't
like that. The markets are speaking, you know, I wonder
if he'll listen at some point. The first time home
buyer in America is becoming extinct, not totally extinct, but
their numbers are really dwindling. Now. The winners in this
equation are rental landlords. They are making out like bandits.

(23:12):
Married couples, people who usually would buy homes, either in
their thirties or sometimes even into their forties, are staying
in rental properties. So that's doing great for the rental business.
But it's not great for the rest of this country.
I'm not here to make real estate agents selling houses
more money this morning, but I am here to tell
you that when people don't get become homeowners in America,

(23:33):
it hurts the economy in other ways. People don't go
to home depot stuff like that. There's other businesses that hurt.
But it also hurts our childbirth rate in this country.
People don't start families, or don't start larger families. It
is a real blow to the American culture, in the
American dream. We've got to do something to get mortgage
rates down in this country. It's not just a Jerome

(23:54):
Powell and fed thing that. There are other parts of it,
but this has to be a priority. I would make
that a priority for the Trump administration in the coming year,
getting these mortgage rates down. I know they're working on
it already, but we've got to do something about it. Okay.
Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing, Peter Navarro has about
had it with Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple. It's

(24:14):
Navarro versus Cook, guys, He says, the Apple CEO has
been dragging his feet getting iPhone factories out of China
since twenty seventeen. Now, you might remember earlier this year
when the new tarrifts were announced, Apple rushed very quickly
to get a couple of those factories into India and
they did that like that super fast. So the question is,

(24:34):
over the last eight years, how come they haven't done more?
They could have done it. Navarro is really pressuring Cook
on this, trying to make Cook the problem, and that's
what you have to do sometimes in business stories, you
have to make it personal. If by just say Apple
or Nvidia or some other companies names, people can't really
think of who is responsible. And that's what Navarro's trying
to do. He's trying to focus that attention on Tim Cook.

(24:56):
Love to hear what Cook has to say in response.
If he ever does respond, Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Hey,
it's moving America. Sponsored by Artillerytea Company Artillerytco dot com.

(25:42):

Silantis is the owner now Chriser, Jeep, Dodge, and a
couple of other companies. Those sales at Dodge so far
this year are down fifty percent compared to where they
were last year. The big culprit is the Dodge Daytona
Charger EV. I told you about this car. Remember, Dodge

(26:04):
paid a ton of money to have the a Daytona
Charger EV become the pace car at the Daytona five
hundred earlier this year, and I talked about how that
wouldn't go over that. Well, well, I'm sorry, I was right. Sorry, Dodge,
I was right. It has only sold forty three hundred
units through June, while it sold almost twenty seven thousand
ice chargers I see E chargers through June of last year.

(26:27):
That's what the Daytona Charger replaced. So tough times right
now at Dodge. Listen. Dodge is known as the muscle
car in America. That's what they're known for. I don't
think evs are going to go overwell with that customer base.
And spending all that money for it to be the
pace car at the Daytona five hundred got them nothing.
I think you and I could have told them that.
I don't know who they hired as their marketing folks,

(26:48):
but they might need to replace them. Let's just say
that the state of Ohio is getting serious about team
driving safety.

Speaker 9 (26:55):
Now.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
You used to be able to opt out of taking
driver's head in the Buckeye State once you hit the
age of eighteen, so you could just take the driver's test.
Once you became eighteen, you didn't have to take Driver's ED.
But a new law now says that everyone twenty one
and under must pass a full Driver's ED course before
they can even take the road test. Last year in Ohio,
there were ninety seven fatal crashes involving at least one

(27:19):
teen driver, and cops say in sixty seven of those
ninety seven crashes, a teen was at fault for the accident.
So that's where this is coming from, and let's be honest,
it's also probably coming with a push from the insurance lobbyist.
The insurance lobby as well. But that's the new rule
in Ohio. Now do you remember the super cheap EV
truck with a crank window and the sub twenty thousand

(27:42):
dollars price. I told you about it a little while
ago on this program, Well say goodbye to that slate.
That's the truck company backed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos
now says that its lowest priced truck will be priced
in the quote mid twenties. Now, it says that because
the big beautiful budget bill took away the tax credit
for buying electric vehicles. But don't worry if you really

(28:02):
want to crank your window up. I have a nineteen
seventy six Malibu Classic on cinderblocks in a front yard
somewhere that I can get you for youre no, just kidding.
You can't get that cheap with evs without that tax credit.
So I wonder how this company's gonna survive. But people
were lining up to buy it. Let's see if they
still go ahead and actually buy it even though they
got their names on a list. Okay, this isn't a

(28:23):
story I'm about to show you about a car or
a truck, but it's definitely moving America. It is the
brand new Sirens Curse roller coaster at the best roller
coaster theme park in America, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Yes, there,
you see it. It goes out on a ledge. It
looks like you're gonna fall off the roller coaster, then
it slowly tilts down and then finally releases to it.

(28:44):
I mean, look at this roller coaster. This is a
crazy place. Listen. If you love roller coasters, Cedar Point
is the best roller coaster theme park in America. It's
not about kiddie rides, it's not about Disney, it's not
about characters. It is about serious roller coasters. You need
to have a strong stomach, but it is one of
the best theme parks in America. It's all about crazy
coasters that you see it. Okay, coming up, if you

(29:05):
want to make Sanctuary City politicians jump, I'll just tell
them that there's a major ice sweep of MS thirteen
gangs and drug dealers happening in their town. That's what
we'll get them to jump. That's what got La Mayor
Karen Bass moving yesterday. I'll have the details on that
and President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin It's on
Yaho have each other's backs. The highlights from a special

(29:27):
White House dinner. When America's Sunrise Early Edition comes right back.
It's Tuesday, July eighth. Here this morning's top stories. Search

(29:50):
and rescue efforts continue in Texas As. More than one
hundred people are now confirmed dead from devastating floods along
the Guadaloupe River. There are also new details about why
the most badly affected county did not opt for a
modern flood warning system. The war is getting nastier on
the men and women doing their duty to detain and

(30:10):
deport illegal aliens. A man trying to kill Border patrol
officers started shooting at them at one of their buildings
in McCallan, Texas, yesterday, but he was killed when officers
shot back. Hey what got LA Mayor Karen Bass jumping
out of her seat and rushing to MacArthur Park yesterday? No,
it wasn't a fire, and it wasn't anything facing legal

(30:34):
LA citizens. Oh of course, it was an ice sweep
of the park's MS thirteen members and drug dealers. That's
what God are upset and best buds. President Trump and
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamininca now meet again at the White House,
and it looks like they're closer than ever later haters,
American Sunrise Early Edition continues. Now, welcome back to this

(31:02):
Tuesday here in American Sunrise Early Edition. I'm Jake Novak.
Thank you so much for joining us. Also joining us
right now, Republican strategists and investor ab sachs Aby. I
want you to check out this commotion yesterday at Las
MacArthur Park. This started to develop around a little bit
I guess the late morning in Los Angeles, where a

(31:24):
bunch of people started to protest. They came. Of course,
this is the newsweek headline I just showed you there.
They started to protest when Ice went into MacArthur Park,
which is a notorious place where homelessly legal aliens other
illegal alien gangs operate. There have been so many complaints
that I've read about in the LA Times, by the way,
which is not a favorable to Trump newspaper, about how

(31:45):
bad MacArthur Park is. Ice goes in there to try
to sweep these people out, and Mayor Karen Bass stops
what she's doing. She rushes, Remember this is the woman
who was away on vacation when the LA Fires were
raging and rushes to the park to try to stop them.
I can't think a b of anything that is more
indicative of where we are now politically in America, where
not only do politicians speak out for issues that Americans

(32:07):
don't support, but they physically get off their butts and
rush to the scene. It's just incredible.

Speaker 10 (32:15):
Yeah, it is incredible, but sadly become a little bit predictable.
I guess this is a negative form of what when
they say all politics is local a little bit of
that because obviously we know that La County, you know
where La City is located, as probably the largest county
in America for for illegal immigrants.

Speaker 8 (32:37):
But there's also obviously the national aspect.

Speaker 10 (32:39):
We know that National Dems in particular in particular have
made this one of their central issues a number not
only to oppose Trump at all costs, but to be
you know, to basically allow any kind of illegality in
when it comes to immigration. Kudos to President Trump and
the Trump administration for doubling down. Past administrations could have

(33:03):
very easily you know, gotten spooked, tried to you know,
cut a deal, especially after the protests and the initial
resistance for the national guard coming out the Trump administration
is saying no, no, We're going to be rational when
it comes to legal immigration, of course, and be based
on American need. But illegal immigration, especially the big congregations, we're.

Speaker 8 (33:23):
Not going to stand for that.

Speaker 10 (33:24):
So Karon Bass could do what she wants, but it
looks like President Trump and the American people are committed
to fighting this illegal immigration scourge.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Yeah, and you know what I think. You know, we're
hearing some stories floating around that there's some kind of
amnesty deal being considered by the administration, and we can
complain about that all we want. We certainly have a
right to do that. But one of the things that
I like to remind folks, and this is true of
all political issues, if you don't support and show your
vociferous support for the things that you like enough, then

(33:55):
don't expect the politicians to continue to do them. And
when you see something like this, the pole all show
again a clear majority, even in the New York Times poll,
a clear majority of Americans supporting the deportation of all
illegal aliens, not just the ones who also commit additional crimes.
The clear majority of Americans want to see all illegal
aliens deported from this country, and that includes the ones

(34:18):
in MacArthur Park. And it's as simple as that this
is a stupid hill for the Democrats to die on.
But it's only a stupid hill if the people who
support all these deportations make it clear that we support them. Now,
another thing we need to support are the border agents
and the ICE agents who are doing this. And it's
kind of a protest that we keep seeing against these

(34:39):
border patrol agents and ICE agents, which is leading to
what I think happened yesterday in Texas. A man with
the rifle and in combat year tried to shoot up
at Border Patrol office in McAllen, Texas. Now the agents
shot back and killed him before he could kill any
of them. A police officer who was on the scene
was shot but is in stable condition. Ab This is

(35:01):
not only I think a result of these politicians calling
border patrol agents Nazis, etc. Remember Joe Biden himself when
he was president lied and said that border patrol agents
were whipping people on horseback. Remember that lie. So that's
definitely a result, but it's also maybe a result of
people like us not supporting these folks enough. We need

(35:22):
to let people know that we support this more than
just then when we talked to a polster. I think
that this goes both ways.

Speaker 8 (35:30):
Yeah, that was shameful.

Speaker 10 (35:31):
I do remember that when they just invented the lie
and it was a lie and they had no evidence
for it, that the Border Patrol officer on horseback was
whipping somebody when he was just turning and it took,
you know a long time for them to kind of
clear him, and what it was gone from the headlines.
For sure, we have to show our vocal support for this.
And this is actually to some extent, obviously an extension

(35:53):
on the first topic that you mentioned regarding Los Angeles.

Speaker 8 (35:58):
The Democratic Party.

Speaker 10 (36:00):
Day's Democratic Party is one that puts its most hardcore
activists on a variety of issues. They cobble together a
coalition and they put that into their that's controlling their
party more than it ever has before. Obviously, Karen Bass
is sort of an establishment politician. She presents one face
of it. The people who are doing this, and I

(36:20):
was reading them earlier last night. I say from Andy
know that they've arrested ten Antifa members. I don't know
if it was in regards I have to double check
in regards to this particular shooting or in regards to
another one in.

Speaker 8 (36:33):
Texas en ANTIFA members.

Speaker 10 (36:35):
This presents a political opportunity for the Trump administration to
continue cracking down and presents an opportunity for us as
citizens to yell and scream that we support this. They
will have so many salutory effects, whether it's on higher wages,
whether it's on lower crime, whether it's on better social cohesion.
We absolutely have to raise our voice and say we

(36:56):
support the law men and women of law enforcement, particularly
patrol and ice and and cracking down on this illegality
that has so many negative effects on society.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Aby, I want you to let's move on to going
back to Washington. I want you to check out this
exchange between President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Insignia yesterday,
because this was not expected.

Speaker 11 (37:18):
Check it out as an extraordinary team. And I think
our teams together make an extraordinary combination to be challenges
and seize opportunities.

Speaker 9 (37:30):
But his president has already realized for great opportunities.

Speaker 11 (37:34):
He forged the Abram Reports.

Speaker 9 (37:36):
He's forging peace as we speed in one country and
one region after the other. So I want to present
to you, mister President, the letter I sent to the
Nobel Prize committee. It's dominating you for the Peace Prize,
which is well deserved and.

Speaker 11 (37:52):
You should get it.

Speaker 9 (37:54):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
I didn't know well, thank you very much coming from
you in particular, this is a very meaningful thank you
very much. You're doing thank you, squid arm, you know, ab.
I almost feel sorry for the people who are trying

(38:17):
to warn President Trump about the dangers of Benjamin as
are not just because they're obviously friendly and they have
a good relationship, but as if President Trump needs to
be warned about someone. I mean the idea, I mean,
this is something that the left has been pushing for years,
that President Trump can be manipulated by anyone, whether it's
Putin or a game show host. I'm so tired of

(38:37):
this narrative. President Trump's a grown man. He's been the
most powerful man in the world for basically ten years running.
The idea that someone's going to manipulate him, either with
flattery or something else like that is just crazy. And
I really just think this was legitimate. Israel is seeing
tremendous benefits from the peace deals. President Trump's already broken.
It's as simple as that. There's really no they're there

(38:58):
and all. I but I do feel sorry in a
way for the people trying to split these two apart,
because it's that's that's a heavy lift. I don't think
it's going to work.

Speaker 10 (39:07):
Yeah, no, absolutely, I mean I don't know how how
sorry I feel for them, because they've they've tried to
cause a lot of problems. But thank god, President Trump
has proven himself on the issues of foreign policy, many
issues domestic policy that we've spoken about just now, excuse
me to be a man of great discernment. And as
you say, the idea anyone who's followed his career, whether

(39:30):
they like him or dislike him, the idea that somebody
from especially from a smaller nation, even though very you know,
a very positive nation of a great ally, but from
a smaller nation, but anyone big or small.

Speaker 8 (39:43):
We've seen him threaten President Putin when he got upset
with him in the past. We've seen him.

Speaker 10 (39:47):
I seen him President threatened the dictator a Kim of
North Korea. The idea that anyone's going to put him
in a corner and say you better do this or
I'm going to manipulate you is is laughable. Trump, Like
I said, President trumb has proved himself to be a
man of great discernment.

Speaker 8 (40:02):
He recognizes friend from foe. This was Prime Minister.

Speaker 10 (40:07):
To the White House, coming part partially to celebrate the
amazing victory they had to jointly together over the Iranian
nuclear program and missile program, and obviously to discuss the
future for peace. The Prime Minister was right to try to,
you know, write to the Noble Committee to nominate him
for Nobel Prize for his work already on the Abraham Accords.

(40:31):
It was also a smart political move on his part,
because you know, it's it's always smart to be kind
to your greatest ally. But it was right on the substance,
and you know, hopefully this amazing cooperation continues to these
two great allies.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Yeah, I mean I think that listen, Prime Minister nay
I was never going to miss a chance to visit
the White House and do these kinds of things and
say these kinds of things. But if you remember earlier
this year, when Vladimir Zelensky came to the White House
and wasn't congratulatory enough, wasn't warm enough to the President,
it became a big issue. And it's just you have

(41:07):
to show this. I mean, the American taxpayer needs to
be advocated for not only financially, but also politically and
in a cultural way. And this is important. We just
don't like seeing people who aren't appreciative get our money
and get our support. It's as simple as that, Aby Sachs.
I appreciate you coming on this program. Thank you so
much for getting up early and joining us. Have a

(41:27):
great rest of your week.

Speaker 8 (41:29):
You was bullshake. Great to deal with you again.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
All right, coming up. A terrible inconvenience for travelers all
across America is finally over. David Brody and I will
discuss when American Sunrise Early Edition continues. Welcome back to

(42:09):
American Sunrise Early Edition. You're looking at the Capitol Dome. Hey,
Congress is on vacation, so maybe this is a good
and safe time to go into the Capitol. You'll avoid
all those felons. Just kidding, sort of. Welcome back to
American Sunrise Early Edition. This is a Tuesday. I'm Jake
Novac and I am here to liberate you. Liberate you
from a pretty gross situation. I think the TSA says,

(42:31):
according to a number of reports, they are going to
end the requirement forcing US travelers to take their shoes
off when you go through airport security. This has been
a policy that's been in effect for almost twenty years now.
It may seem like a little thing to some of you,
but for a lot of people this was a very
difficult physically and sometimes it is plain gross thing to do.
I'm sorry, my bare feet on the floor at the

(42:53):
airport was a little bit gross for me. I really
hated doing this. I'm really glad this is ending. Remember
this all started because of the shoe bomber Richard Reed
just months after nine to eleven, who hid explosives in
the soles of his shoes tried to light them on
fire in a flight from Paris to Florida. He was stopped.
I think a number of passengers sat on him, physically

(43:14):
sat on him for the duration of the flight to
stop him from doing anything. He's now in a supermax
prison in Colorado. I don't know if he gets to
take his shoes off when he goes through metal detectors.
But you know, David Brody joining me now, all kidding aside,
This was a terrible inconvenience, and it reminds me of
all the inconveniences we lived through in America, not just
since nine to eleven, but since the rise of a

(43:36):
specific kind of street crime pretty much in the nineteen fifties.
You know, it's not just the shoes, you know. I
hate the fact that my children have no memory of
going to a football or baseball game without having to
go through a metal detector. I hate that. I also
hate that for decades in New York City they used
to have cushioned seats on the New York City subway.
Did you know? I mean, I know, David knows that

(43:56):
they used to have cushion seats, and then the hoods
in the fifties with switchblades took took at those seats,
and now everyone has to suffer sciatica sitting on the subway.
It is really frustrating to see how one or sometimes
just one, but just a few people inconvenience everyone else,
and we have to wait for technology to get so
sophisticated for us to live a normal life.

Speaker 12 (44:16):
Again, David, it's such a good point, and not to
get too deep with this, but you know, sin rec society, right,
and so we have sinful acts. Look at what happens
in society I mean it kind of goes hand in
hand if you think about it. But yeah, oh I
hastened back, I hasten back whatever.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
I think back to.

Speaker 12 (44:32):
Those days in the nineteen seventies, the wonderful days of
Son of Sam just kidding in New York where we
had the wonderful cushy seats. So when I took that
seven train out to Flushing from Manhattan, those were the days.
But you know, in terms of the TSA and the
shoe situation, I really never quite understood it.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
And yes, okay, got it.

Speaker 12 (44:54):
I understand why they did it, like on a PDF document, right,
I get that part of it, but it really never
made much sense to me for the last twenty years
or so because everything was so inconsistent. You know, sometimes
you would take your shoes off, sometimes you wouldn't. Now
they got the TSA pre check, so you don't have
to take your shoes off there, which, by the way,

(45:14):
say goodbye to TSA pre check at this point if
that's the case, because people are paying what is it,
eighty bucks for five years or so for that, which,
by the way, on a separate note, the TSA pre
check lines are much longer now than the regular lines.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
So that's just kind of an interesting sidebar.

Speaker 12 (45:28):
To all of this. The point is is, like, you know,
it never made much sense to me. Not only that,
but I mean, let's just go to the three point
zero ounces. You know that you can't carry on more
than three point zero hours. You know who came up
with that? By the way, why not three point two?
Why not four point seven, why not one point four?
It doesn't make any sense. And then I tried to

(45:48):
do some experiment to say, okay, you know what, I'll
take more than three ounces, three ounces that I didn't
care about regarding my brute by faberge aftershave, and I said,
you know what, I'll go ahead and go with three
point nine ounces just to see, just for kicks, to
see what would happen. They would take it away the
next time. I went with three point nine ounces, the
exact same three point nine ounces, and.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
They let it through.

Speaker 12 (46:12):
It's so inconsistent and it would just drive me nuts,
and I would say something to tsa folks.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
I said it very nicely.

Speaker 12 (46:17):
Because I didn't want to be like a scene from
Midnight Express somewhere and you know, in the middle of
the country.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
But you know, I basically said to.

Speaker 12 (46:25):
Them, Hey, but this last time you didn't take it away.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Now you take it away.

Speaker 12 (46:29):
Well, sir, we're just doing our job, okay, and I
appreciate you doing your job. The point is, the whole
hypocrisy has to come to an end as well.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Jay, Yeah, I have a better idea. Instead of us
doing these crazy things, let's defeat the terrorists. Defeat them
in every way, not just physically but culturally. All Right,
we got two hours of American Sunrise coming up. I'll
be joining them in the nine am hour. This has
been American Sunrise. Early addition, this show will reboot again tomorrow.
I'll see you then
