Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ahead on an American Sunrise Early edition. Oh, the timing
couldn't be more perfect. Just as Governor JB. Pritzker threatens
to arrest Iced agents, ICE finds and arrests an Illinois
cop who just happens to be an illegal alien with
a badge and a gun. Our Ben Berkwan broke the
story in the battle against illegal drugs. President Trump says

(00:24):
these attacks on drug boats could soon be augmented by
strikes on drug cartel facilities inside countries like Venezuela. Not
just on the water, but Trump the peacemaker is also
on the move. Boys busy. Trump will meet with Russian
President Vladimir Putin and Hungary in the coming weeks, trying
to get peace in that war with Ukraine. Former Trump

(00:47):
National security advisor John Bolton has been indicted on eighteen
counts of keeping and sharing classified documents. It's a swampy thing.
They all like to write books that nobody reads. Last
night's New York City mayoral debate was a real crime,
as the three candidates and the media moderators embarrassed themselves
for all to see. American Sunrise Early Edition begins. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition, the show where faith,
freedom and the values that built this nation takes centers to.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Your good ths and baddies. That's how we're going to
judge you.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories
that matter.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
He will be letting the public know regularly what we
have found.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
American Sunrise Early Edition with your host Jake Novak starts.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Now, Welcome to a not Tai Friday here on American
Sunrise Early Edition. What a week this has been, and
it's really, I think, been a very good week. And
that's where we're going to start in just a few seconds,
when we take a look at what the amazing week
has been for America for President and Trump, and a

(02:01):
really really bad week for the far right and the
far left, mostly the far left, which is of course
the whole left these days. I don't think there is
any moderate left anymore. But they've had a bad week.
The good guys won, the bad guys lost, and we're
going to get into it here on this October seventeenth.
What an amazing day, This is an amazing week it's been.
Joining us now, doctor James Neso, he's our legal and

(02:21):
political contributor here on American Sunrise early edition. And you know, Jim,
I just have to step back on a Friday and
acknowledge where we were at the beginning of this week.
We get a war ended, we get hostages returned, and
my biggest thing, we didn't get world War three. Remember
when they told us that if we got involved in

(02:43):
this whole conflict, and if if Trump attacked the Iranian
nuclear facilities, we had been world War three. That seems
like a million years ago, but I think it was
only three and a half months ago. No World War
three and the war over we won, they lost, Jim.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
You know, it's so hot, hard to figure out where
to start. Let me start with one thing. One, if
you believe in experts, including me, you're wrong. They don't
know a damn thing more than you do. And continually,
again and again, they embarrassed themselves. God, I'd hate to
look at my own tapes. Second is that you're right

(03:23):
the Middle East, and indeed, the world geopolitical system has
been transformed this week. President Trump has pulled off even
if it doesn't hold on the long term, and gosh
knows what's going to happen. Although yesterday's comments by the
President that if Hamas plays around, he will authorize a

(03:44):
complete destruction. Ought to catch their attention. But even if
it doesn't hold completely around the fact that he was
able to get all of the serious players in the
Middle East to sign on to this sension, to the
Abraham Accords. This transforms the Middle East in profound geopolitical ways.

(04:06):
On a strategic basis, it also sends a very strong
signal to Putin and it also sends and this is
even more importantly, a very strong signal to China. So
everybody who was basically saying that we have lost our
leverage with both China and with Russia, well, you know,
again they ought to hand in their credentials as being

(04:29):
an extrap because they don't know what they're talking about.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah, and I and again, I also want to just
hammer home the domestic critics of President Shrump. Of course
the complete Democrat Party in the entire left, but also
people on the far right who decided that anything that
we did to help Israel, that helped common decency in
the world would absolutely start at World War three. How
dare we do anything about I? Rannie Ron hasn't made
a peep about this. Look, and they don't even have

(04:54):
the decency now to admit they were wrong. I mean,
they're literally parading around this week saying, you see, we
were right, you were wrong. You got an F on
the test, and you're pretending like you got an A.
It's incredible, now, Jim. There's also domestic critics from the
uber libertarian types. And I'm mostly a libertarian too, I
hear where they're coming from. But the Ran Paul's of
the world, the Thomas Massey's of the world, who don't

(05:17):
want us to do anything about the drug war that's
been waged on this country. This isn't an economic situation.
This isn't Miami Vice where they're trying to sell some
coke for a couple of bucks and to go to
a nightclub. This is ventanyl flooding into our country, killing
tens of thousands of people on the regular, and President
Trump is not only doing something about it, but he's
telling the world it's not a covert operation. And I

(05:39):
think they lost to this week, Jim. I really don't.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Well.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Look, ran Paul may be a good is ergeon, I
have no clue, but he is a terrible lawyer, a
terrible constitutionalist, and a terrible historian. His points regarding the
fact that this is illegal and unprecedented are both profoundly
and utterly wrong. Rand Paul Thomas Massey should be ashamed

(06:03):
of themselves more than that they should be ignored by
using as being people of no serious intellectual caliber. This
is something that has been done time and time again
Democrat and Republican administrations who have identified things such as
the cartels as places that we can go after. This

(06:25):
is legal, this is moral, and this is historically precedent.
So you can just ignore those people. They're silly, they're stupid.
No one in the Beltway cares about what they have
to say. And all they do is they open their mouths.
Is they prove that they are.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Idiots, except when they don't open their mouths, like when
President Obama did a drone strike on American citizens and
believe exactly, he had nothing to say. Paul has nothing
to say in front of them.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You're right, Look, they have it in for Orange Van
bad and I don't care what ran. Paul has been
trying desperately to row back this week after his comments,
and if you take a look at his social media,
he must be getting absolutely destroyed in terms of the
phone calls going into his office, but ran Paul Tom Massey,

(07:19):
who by the way, is getting tons of money all
from Democrats to fund his re election campaign. They're not
serious people. The White House doesn't take them seriously. The
only people who take them seriously is the media. My
advice to you, Jake, ignore them. They're idiots.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Well, speaking of idiots, here, let's take a look at
another victory I think for America, for President Trump and
for the Republican Party, and that is that the government
shutdown now is in day seventeen. Now, the shutdown isn't
a victory. What a victory is The victory is embodied
in this Take a look at this headline from NPR.
You know you're losing an attempt to gain the American
people's attention when it's this same seventeenth day of a

(08:01):
government shutdown, and your buddies at NPR have to remind
their readers and their viewers and their listeners that, oh,
by the way, there's a shutdown, and here's what it
means for you. It's been going on for two and
a half weeks. I mean, this tantrum that the Democrats
are trying to throw not only is it not getting attention,
but when it does get attention, I feel like, for
the first time in my lifetime, there's been almost a

(08:21):
balance of realization by the American people that the Democrats
are the one who created this, the ones who created
this shutdown. They voted for it nine times.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Jim Well, not only do they vote for it. This
sort of reminds me of the way in which we
started taking back the schools after we had the COVID shutdown,
and everybody who is in America, all the parents were
able to look and see what happens in schools, and
now that the curtain has been pulled aside, they didn't

(08:49):
like what they saw in schools, and we now see
a transformation. I think people are taking a look saying,
you know, the government shut down, but okay, so I
can't go to my local park, but I'm basically okay,
it's not working. The Schumer shutdown is a failure. Even

(09:13):
people like John Fetterman, who isn't one of the people
they love, but others as well, are now saying, how
do we do a climb down? I frankly think that
they're waiting for the No King's rally, which is supposed
to happen this weekend so they can go and talk
to their leftist pals. Will be a prescient moment. Look,

(09:34):
never forget one additional thing. AOC is going to run
against Schumer for the primary. Schumer cannot allow the left
flank of his party in New York City, which is
about to elect a communist as the mayor of New
York City, to get on that left for him. So

(09:55):
he's doing this not because it's good for the country,
because he's trying to save his own skin. Well, guess what,
He's not saving the country and he's not gonna save
his own skin. AOC is going to thrash the heck
out of this guy, and good.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Hey, you know, finally, Jim, I don't know if this
is a victory for President Trump, but it does seem
to be a tremendous loss for the left because the
way that everyone is looking at what justice Kattani Brown
Jackson had to say, once again opening in her mouth
and hopefully instantly regretting it. I don't know. I don't
think she has a regretful bone in her body. She should,
but her comments during that case earlier this week about

(10:32):
the Voting Rights Act really I mean, it takes the
cake even for her seems to set a new low
bar for embarrassing comments by a Supreme Court justice on
the bench.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Now you quoted that they're disabled. There's another one that's
actually my favorite, which is just take my word for
it when she's talking to counsel. No, I'm not going
to take your word for it. That's not your job
as Supreme Court justice. This is a woman who is
totally and completely out of her depth. There was a
senator in the nineteen seventy named Roman Hirska who was

(11:05):
from Nebraska, and when the Farnsworth nomination came up and
everyone discovered that the guy really was not playing with
the sharpest knife in the drawer, shall we say, came
out and said, famously, isn't there a role for mediocrites too? Well,
he didn't get Roman, you know, Fresca did not be

(11:25):
able to get Farnsworth. But Jackson now sort of deals
with mediocrits. The woman is an intellectual midget. She is
an embarrassment not just to the Court Court majority, but
even to her liberal justices who must be hearing her
speak and are slapping their foreheads and saying, would you
just shut up.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeah, I mean it's it's incredible. I mean, you're right.
Not everyone needs to be the greatest orator, and maybe
they can have some down home common sense. But she
has neither of those things. And what an embarrassment. And
we're with her for a long time. She's a young woman,
Doctor James Nazzo, have a great weekend. Thank you so
much for joining us.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Coming up, if you think giving illegal aliens free healthcare
is bad, try giving them a badge and a gun.
I'll have this outrageous but true story just ahead and later.
A major milestone has now been hit when it comes
to new car buying in America, and it's not a
great one. I will explain. American Sunrise Early Edition is

(12:27):
coming right back. A dark Friday morning there in Atlanta,

(12:51):
Georgia this morning. But that's what's gonna happen as we
get closer to winter. I hate to say that word.
We just kind of started fall, but there you go,
it's gonna have darker morning here in the East Coast.
Welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition Special. Welcome to
those of you on the Getter and the Rumble Chats,
the X platforms, substack everywhere the people are commenting, I'm
reading a lot of you are talking about that mayor

(13:12):
Old debate in New York. I didn't think that would
be something all of you who would want to talk about,
other than the New Yorkers among you. But I'm going
to get to that a little later this hour, So
thank you for talking about that. Hey, Real America's Voice,
we have an intrepid reporter. He's also the host of
Law on Boarder's name is Ben Burkwam. He broke an
amazing story yesterday, and rather than have me summarize it,
here's about a minute of him breaking the news right

(13:34):
here on Real America's Voice. Check it out.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
The fact that a police department either minister overlooked a
B two overstay, which is a federal statue. I mean,
that's that's not a good thing.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
So he was a visa overstay.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
But even that, because non citizens can't have a gun,
so how can you be a police officer?

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Right?

Speaker 4 (13:55):
So, I mean, per Chicago, they have a you know,
a rule within from their own police department that all
they require is a work automosis.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Okay, let's be a police officer in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
That's their intent, that's their requirement that if that's the case,
they still cannot ignore the fact that he was overstayed.
That's a federal statue. So whether or not they came
up where they missed it or whatever it is, I'm
not blaming them, but it was missed, right, so we
need to do something.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
We've confirmed that. So he's visa overstay. Correct.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Wow, Okay, good job, good job buys good job.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
So this is breaking. Apparently this gentleman.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
Here's a police officer and over police department just outside
of Chicago. Is here illegally overstate is visa How he
got a job as a police officer?

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Crazy?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Emily Vin joins us. Now, Hey, Emily, we are on
the cust with It was just you and I yesterday
were talking about this about how Illinois Governor JV. Pritzker
is pushing He's threatening to arrest those Ice agents that
Ben was talking to. That's who they're protecting us from.
An illegal alien with a badge and a gun. I
can't believe. I mean, if we did a poll right now, Emily,
what percentage of Americans would say I think it's really

(15:17):
wrong for an illegal alien to be a police officer.
I'm guessing ninety two to ninety three percent. There's always
a seven percent group of nuts. But other than that, sure.

Speaker 8 (15:25):
Yeah, you gotta have the outlier crazies. But I think
realistic we one hundred percent of people should agree with that.
I mean, this is unbelievable, and I will say, is
it unbelievable? At some point this was going to happen
with all of the lawlessness in Illinois, with JB. Pritzker's leadership,
of course something like this was going to happen. And
during that interview an incredible reporting from Ben Berkwam. There

(15:46):
have to give him props. During that interview, this person
was saying, like, yes, it went under the radar, it
was overlooked. That is not an excuse. I mean, this
is a failure of leadership that they're not taking seriously
in the state of Illinois, and now it's leaking into
the police departments. Jake, this is this is outrageous.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
It's a really great point you made at the start there.
Of course this is happening. There are twenty one million
illegal aliens in this country. There were at least before
President Trump and I started to deport them. You're telling
me that they're not going to get on the police
force already. We talked about a couple of weeks ago,
the superintendent of the biggest school district in Iowa is
an illegal alien. It's on and on down the line. Now,

(16:26):
does this mean that it's a terrible thing because all
illegal aliens are bad? People? Know, it's a bad thing
because if you're not even a citizen, where's your accountability?
You and I are going to have good hearts and
be good people, and a lot of us are going
to do that. But also, the thing that stops me
from going through a red light, the thing that stops
me from not paying my taxes, the thing that stops
me from a bunch of things is I know, you know,

(16:46):
I'm a citizen. I could get my rights revoked. But
if you already don't have any what do you got
to lose? You can't have illegal aliens as teachers and
as cops, and or as doctors. Doctors also, by the way,
that's another thing. This is just again who if there
aren't at least ten illegal aliens on other police forces
in this country, I'll be shocked. There's got to be
probably dozens.

Speaker 8 (17:07):
Absolutely, Jake, I mean think about this for a second.
The initial act to enter this country illegally or to
overstay a visa is a criminal act. So you're living
every single day knowing that you're breaking the law. You
made a great point there as well. You're, of course
you're going to test the limits of that. You're going
to see how far you can go. And I think
we should have an audit of police departments all over

(17:29):
the country to make sure that illegal aliens are not
in these positions and other places as well.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah, and what a great luxury for the status democrats
who run these cities to know that even their cops
aren't citizens and they can tell them what to do
and push them around. For all those years of worrying
about police unions, they can just say, hey, I'll have
you deported, I'll report you to ICE. Really scary situation.
Emily Finn, thank you so much for joining us. Going
to see you again in the eight to ten am
hours here on real Narca's worse. Thank you, Thank you.

(17:56):

eight ninety eight for a free info git and to

(18:58):

the end of the month. Again America to ninety eight
ninety eight ninety eight do it today coming up. It's
not quite like breaking the sound barrier, but a barrier
has indeed been broken for America's car buyers, and I
don't like it. That story and the rest of moving

(19:20):
America is nets This is a live look that we

(19:40):
call the Statue of Liberty selfie. Just imagine instead of
the torch, she has a cell phone there and she's
taking a selfie. I love this shot. It might give
some of you a little bit of vertigo, but I
love it. It makes me think of the final scene
A Planet of the Apes. Makes me also think of Bayo,
New Jersey, where you get a pretty good view of
the Statue of Liberty. Sometimes it is October seventeenth, the

(20:02):
birthday of the Beauty clean of Vy Owned. I don't
think anyone knows who I'm talking about. That's okay. Let's
take a look at where the markets will begin today. Hey,
we had a big down day on the market yesterday,
all of a sudden in the middle of the day,
and that was because a bunch of the regional banks
Zions Bank. So these are not huge names. A lot
of you and may not hear these, but those regional
banks were a huge problem. A couple of years ago.

(20:24):
They started to announce that they were having some problems
that sent the markets down for weeks two years ago,
and here you are again, they have some bad news.
Now this isn't a terrible look right now. We're only
eight twelve points down on the Dow Futures Nasdaq, a
little bit more, gold going up even more forty three
hundred dollars per Rounce level. Look at that, and crude
oil at fifty seven dollars a barrel. Boy, you're gonna

(20:44):
get some bargains at the gas pump in the coming
days of you don't already happen. Let's take a look
at bitcoin. Bitcoin not doing so great, and Bitcoin yet
down to one oh six, really taking a step backwards.
It was at the one eleven one to twelve mark
for a few days this week, but here we go.
Another step back. Might be a buying opportunity, may not
be going down forever. Just remember that's how these markets work.

(21:05):
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is Moving America
sponsored by Artillery tea company. We're going to talk a
lot more about Artillery te in just a few minutes.

(21:26):
The co founder is going to be joining us, but
remember you use the code America for that twenty percent
off your order. We'll be talking a lot more to
Mike Britten, one of the co founders, in just a
few minutes. But let's start talking about our car news
this morning, and a big moment for car and truck
buying in America has now been reached. I don't love it.
The average price for a new car truck vehicle purchase

(21:48):
in America today is now, for the first time, over
the fifty thousand dollars level. All right, so price is
going up. It's been actually they've been going up, actually
quite slowly, but still going up.

Speaker 9 (22:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
I don't know how many of us thought that prices
were going to go down. I want to give you
a little bit of a warning though, because the very
late to the party mainstream media, probably in a couple
of days, is gonna wake up to this story and
they're going to go crazy with headlines about how this
is all President Trump's fault because of the tariffs, et cetera,
et cetera. As you can see in this graphic, since
the tariffs were announced, the average price for your vehicle

(22:23):
has gone up only zero point seven percent, not even
one percent. This is not the fault of the tariffs.
This is the fault of basically things just moving up higher. Also,
all the tech that's in our cars these days, that's
a big reason why the prices are going up. It's
not the tariffs. Don't be fooled. I like to do
pre emptive attacks on this program, but justified preemptive attacks,

(22:45):
because I promise you in the next couple of days,
someone's going to start going nuts about this and say
this is all Trump's fault. Again, since the tariffs were announced,
not even a one percent increase in prices. It's not
the tariffs, Okay. Toyota is getting a twenty million dollar
grant from the British government for this. This is a

(23:05):
concept car called the Toyota Ftme the ft Me. Now,
as you can see, it's a little bitty EV, which
in some European cities makes sense to drive a little
car like that. I wouldn't drive a car this mall
in the United States anywhere. I think it would be
a real crash danger. However, it's an EV. It's a
two seater. But the thing that's different about it is
that on the roof they're gonna put solar panels to

(23:27):
augment the other charging from a charging port, and the
British government thinks that's worth twenty million of their citizens
dollars to investigate a little bit more and to do
a little bit more research. I can't imagine a solar
charge is going to put even a little car like
that very far. I don't know how much it's gonna augment.
I'd love to see what percentage of the plug in
charge a solar panel is going to augment. Also, maybe

(23:49):
it gets really hot in that car. I don't really
know how this is going to work, but twenty million
dollars going to be looking into this. I'm sure they
could have gotten the results of a study for a
lot less than twenty million, but governments don't care because
they don't think it's their money. This is something really scary.
A number of Jeep Wrangler four X owners are reporting
that during an onboard software update. You know, sometimes you're

(24:10):
in your car and they tell you they're going to
do a software update and they do it while your
car is either idling or just not even running.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Well.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Apparently, people who did the software update, dozens of Wrangler
four XE owners over the weekend said that after they
did the update and started driving, their Jeep's just dead
stopped in the middle of the traffic. So far, no
serious accidents have been reported. Of course, Jeep is looking
into this. Maybe they should, you know, figure out what's
wrong with their software updates before they tell everyone to

(24:37):
get one. I can't stand when that happens. Here's another
technical glitch, but this one was much less dangerous. It
was just kind of an annoying thing. A number of
pranksters in San Francisco found a way to get fifty
way more robotaxis to drive down and then stop at
the end of San Francisco's longest dead end street. So
there were about fifty cars just piled up almost They

(24:59):
didn't hit each and they all just stood there for
about ten minutes. They automatically left the area after that.
That's the policy at WEIMO. Each no show triggered a
five dollars fee, despite the fact that no one entered
the vehicle. So I hope that the little prank was
worth the five bucks. If it was just one prankster each,
I guess they all paid five bucks, but it could
have ended up being pretty pricey if it was the
same prankster who did all fifty of those orders. Of

(25:21):
course they are showing a glitch, they're proving a glitch
in the system. Is actually something positive about this Weymo
can fix it now, but still, can you imagine it's
being walking down the street in this fifty cars just
sitting there with nobody in them. Okay, coming back, I
want to go back to North Carolina and the latest
on that story that we told you about yesterday, Teresa
Stokes to see her there. She's the judge who freed

(25:42):
the guy who killed Ukrainian refugee Arena Zurutska. It turns
out she didn't pass the bar and she's not even
from North Carolina. But other than that, Missus Lincoln unbelievable.
And later I'm gonna break down the bottom line on
last night's Mayer's debate in New York. It wasn't good.
American Sunrise early edition will be right back. It's Friday,

(26:13):
October seventeenth. Here are this morning's top stories. Oh, the
timing couldn't be more perfect. Our Ben Berkwam busts up
this story broke. The story about an illegal alien who's
working on the police force, in Illinois, just as Governor JB.
Pritzkerg is making a national spectacle of himself saying that
his state doesn't need ice. You need ice if you
have illegals with a badge and a gun. Governor. But

(26:35):
here's another thing going on, Trump the peacemaker on the move.
President Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in
Hungary in the coming weeks, trying to get an end
to that war in Ukraine. Former Trump National security advisor
John Bolton has been indicted on eighteen counts of keeping
and sharing classified documents. These guys do it to write
books and get a big royalty, even though no one

(26:56):
reads the books. It wasn't worth it, John, And last
night's New York City mayoral debate was a real crime.
I don't know if you saw it. The three candidates
and the media moderators all embarrassed themselves for the most part.
The American Sunrise Early edition continues now and joining us

(27:17):
right now is I love checking in with this guy
every once in a while because it's real America. It's
kind of Hey, that's a good idea for a name
of a TV channel, and it's a real look into
business and startups in America and people who are patriotic
to boot. Co founder of Artillery Tea Mike Britten. Mike,
for those of our viewers who don't know about your company,
our regular viewers know all about Artillery t but I'd

(27:39):
love for you to explain to the viewers exactly how
you got your company started and why it's different from
some of the other stuff that they're going to see
at the supermarket or online.

Speaker 9 (27:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (27:50):
Sure, good morning, Jake. So we started this company because
I started having issues with coffee. I would have one
cup of coffee at like ten in the morning, and
I would be up until like three or four in
the morning. And so I wanted something that would regulate
my sleep, and so something with less caffeine. I switched
over to tea and it just like fixed everything and
made everything normal again. And so I wanted to, like,

(28:12):
I'm a Christian, I'm a conservative patriot, and I wanted
to support.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
A brand that aligns with my values.

Speaker 10 (28:17):
I wanted to support vets and first responders. And I
found out that there's just nothing out there right now
if you're either not a coffee drinker or if you
mix coffee and tea, together like I do. There was
no options, and so we started this brand to partner
with veterans and first responders. Right now, we're partnering with
a charity called Working Dogs for Vets.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
We're gonna sponsor a.

Speaker 10 (28:38):
Whole dog this year and so that'll be training the dog,
providing the dog, and they train these dogs to be
service animals for disabled veterans and disabled first responders, and
so we're looking forward to.

Speaker 9 (28:50):
That this year.

Speaker 10 (28:51):
But as far as the product itself, Jake, we offer
a whole leaf product. We offer a clean product. We
use all organic ingredients in our products. Going to find
at the store is something called tea dust, which is
just ground up the whole tea leaves, ground up literally
the byproduct of what we offer. We offer a whole leaf.
It's going to give you a better flavor, better nutritional profile,

(29:12):
be a cleaner product. And our tea bags themselves are
also not made of plastic, bleached paper, glue, all kinds
of nasty stuff like you find at the store too.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
You know you mentioned the service dogs for veterans. For
those of you who are thinking, what is he talking about,
the training and maintenance of those dogs is very, very
expensive These are really really incredible creatures who really help
do more than just help them get around. They also
provide companionship and they're It's it's not easy, right, I mean,

(29:42):
I know, have you had a chance to meet some
of the people who handle these dogs in your partnership
with them, or at least talk with them.

Speaker 10 (29:48):
Well, we're actually looking to do this in December, and
so when we get to that point of actually sponsoring
the dog, we'll be able to meet the dog and
whoever the veteran that is going to be provided to. So, yeah,
we're looking forward to that this year. Yeah, this is
one of the bigger things we've been able to do
so far since we started the company. We've partnered with
a place called Fifth Squad in the past. They provide
vets with emergency expenses like rent and utilities and debt

(30:10):
payments and things like that. We still have a relationship
with them, we still do support them, but we've added
a second one this year because the company has seen
enough growth to be able to expand a little bit
and we're.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Excited to be able to do more. That's the whole
reason we started this. Yeah, you know, Mike, now, if
you can get them to train the dogs to brew
up some artillery tea. Then we've got something. Let's see,
tell me that might work out. Now, I dream big,
I dream big big. Now, are there any new products
or promotions you have coming for the upcoming holiday season?

(30:40):
I know it's only October, you know, listen, this is America.
You got to start getting ready for the holidays even
before October. But this is the high time of the year.
I know it probably make a great gift for a
lot of people, But I know you've got some kind
of a special promotion about this when it's like a
brewing starter kick skit kit. I don't know why I
said it. Thank you.

Speaker 8 (30:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (30:58):
Sure, So we wanted to actually provide something that was
more like for the gift giving season this year. We
haven't been able to do that yet either. We're only
three years old here, and so this will be our
first time. We came up with something called the Precision
Brewing Kit. It's picture on the screen here. You're gonna
get like our top four best selling flavors. You're gonna
get an exclusive sticker that you can't get on our website,
and you're gonna get something called the Precision brewing cheat

(31:19):
sheet our tea because its whole leaf is a little
bit nuanced in brewing it. We offer black, green and
herbal teas and you brew each one a little bit
differently at different temperatures, different brewing times. And so to
get the maximum out of each of our tea bags,
which you should be able to get two cups out
of each one of our bags, we included the instructions
in this kit to be able to maximize what you're getting,

(31:42):
the volume of tea that you're getting out of our product.
You're also gonna get a little tactical dial thermometer that
can be used at home or in the field. It's
designed to be used on the move. And so this
whole kit is more of like an education and providing
all the tools necessary to be able to brew our
product specifically very precise and get a better flavor profile
and get more volume out of each cup. And so

(32:04):
we also are offering free shipping on all these kits
are available on our website as a bundle.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
That's an amazing idea. You know, we've talked about this
in the past about how it isn't just about selling
a product you've got, especially in a coffee obsessed culture.
You've got to get people into the whole culture of
becoming tea brewers and doing it the right way. So
I like that you just didn't say that you're giving
people the tools to do that. It's a thing. I mean,
you got to learn, you got to get into it.
People get you know, think about how much money and

(32:31):
time is spend teaching people about all the ways to
do coffee. You guys are actually providing some tools to
go to the tea side, which I love. I absolutely
prefer to you over coffee. We can have a whole
We have an entire interview about that next time. Mike
Britten from Artillery Tea Company, thank you so much for
joining us. Have a great weekend and a great and listen,
good luck with everything going on, especially with this new promotion.

Speaker 10 (32:52):
Sounds good.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Thanks Jake, and remember you can visit artillerytecode dot com
promo code Liberty for twenty percent off your order right
Joining us right now is former Green Beret and Republican candidate.
He's current Republican candidate for Congress in North Carolina's eleventh
congressional district, Adam Smith. Adam so glad to have you
back on. We tried to have you on last week

(33:13):
a couple of technical difficulties. I think it was a
darn good interview anyway, but I want to have you
back on, especially now that just in the last day
or so here on this program, we reported to the
country that in that terrible story in North Carolina about
Arena Zaruska, the Ukrainian refugee who was murdered on a
commuter train in Charlotte and your state, killed by a
career cour we knew this person was a career criminal,

(33:35):
dozens of arrests, the whole thing. But now we know
that the magistrate judge who freed him, most likely isn't
even a North Carolina resident. I know this didn't happen
in your congressional district, Adam, but this has got to
be a major issue for all North Carolinians. You can't
ignore this in your campaign, can you.

Speaker 7 (33:55):
No, It is a major issue. And if you go
one step further, apparently REESA. Stokes didn't even pass the
bar exam in order to be an appointed judge in
the Charlotte area. So you've got a non bar examed,
non passed individual. You have an individual who it sounds
like has still has a residence in Michigan and is

(34:16):
a registered voter in Michigan, who has had a history
of advocacy for addiction, which is an honorable thing. However,
if the honorable thing to do is to have advocacy
for addiction, but to continue to release repeat criminals back
onto the streets whose own mother said that he shouldn't
be out walking around on the streets, that's a major issue.
I mean, it was so much of an issue that

(34:37):
Congressman Tim Moore and a multitude of other State General
Simleyman wrote a letter directly to directly to the state
as well as to the North Carolina Judicial Council and said, hey,
we have to remove this magistrate.

Speaker 9 (34:50):
She's not taking actions the best interest American people.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yeah, I mean, it's I think that there's people who
don't understand that this is no longer the America of
the nineteen eighties or nineties, and certainly not the seventies
and the sixties. When we're having debates with people from
the other side of the aisle about how they and
we want to make America better. There is absolutely no
one who's going to say that putting unqualified people who

(35:16):
don't even live in your state, judging the freedom and
in some cases life or death because that's what these
people end up doing, they commit murders and other crimes
on the streets. Is common sense in any way, and
it's really just a common sense issue. And I really
think I don't think there's a lot of conservatives who
are a disillusion about this. They know what's going on,
are misinformed about it. But I meet a lot of

(35:38):
old school liberals who don't get that this is what
the other side is doing. Now. This isn't just oh,
they want to raise taxes and they want to do
more for the homeless. This is no. They're looking to
deliberately put people back on the streets. They're hiring illegal aliens,
They're having people who are just not even living in
your state with guns and badges and gabbls. It's just incredible.
I know that there's a change dot org petition to

(36:01):
remove Teresa's stokes that the last time I checked it
had tens of thousands of signatures. Again, how much is
this a part of your messaging as a candidate to
talk about how I mean, again, this isn't something that
you could unilaterally do if you're elected to Congress, but
you can publicize it and let people know that your
eyes are on what's going on in your state more
than what's going on in DC.

Speaker 7 (36:21):
Well, you know, I think it's a responsibility for every
congressional leader of every district in the state to make
this a major issue. And I mean it's already a
major issue. It's been brought up on its own. We
have this conversation in you know, campaigns or in general
about earned media. It's an opportunity to have a conversation
with individuals like yourself. And the fact is is that
this situation with Arinezaruska has become one of the largest

(36:42):
pieces of earned media that we have seen over the
last four weeks now with regards to what's happened and
what's not happened. In fact, I think that there was
just a stay on the trial or an extension to
the trial for the initial hearing that was reported over
the last forty eight hours.

Speaker 9 (36:56):
Which again goes back to the question is why isn't
this a huge, huge.

Speaker 7 (37:01):
Priority for the state, and why isn't it a huge
priority for congressional leadership in the state to continue to.

Speaker 9 (37:06):
Push this issue.

Speaker 7 (37:08):
We're seeing law fair happen all over the country, but
we're also seeing activist judges all over the country and here,
especially in North Carolina, continue to release criminals back into
the wild when they need to be locked up. We
have multiple repeat offenders. I just saw a report yesterday
of another individual who's got twenty or twenty one different arrests,

(37:28):
and a multitude of which are violent, felon cafelonious arrests
that are again released back out on the street. So, look,
congressional leadership has a multitude of different responsibilities, and one
of the critical things is to advocate for the safety
of their district and their people.

Speaker 9 (37:42):
And we need just we have to see more of that.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
Yeah, Adam, North Carolina is yet another state with the
big redistricting battle going on right now. Can you tell
us where that is right now? And does that affect
you and your race at all?

Speaker 7 (37:58):
No, the redistricting won't effect our portion of the country,
and a majority of that redistricting has taken place on
the eastern portion of the state.

Speaker 9 (38:05):
You know, I think.

Speaker 7 (38:05):
Look, Trump's Trump's administration, and President Trump has pushed out
multiple times that there's an opportunity for conservatives to do
redistricting efforts across the country, and if we watch the
historical statistics of redistricting in the United States, ninety percent
of that has been done by Democrats and the Democrat
Party when they hold major majorities in every one of
the states that they're in. So I think that this

(38:28):
is what we would call a balancing act. We are
now just balancing the scales back to where they should
have been a decade ago in the midst of all
of the liberal redistricting that's taken place across the country.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Okay, Adam, you know, listen, you're a former Green Beret,
and I can't avoid this opportunity to ask you about
just the overall big kind of theme of the programs
today because it is a Friday, end of the week.
I think it's been a huge victory of a week
right now for us here you have the federal government.
First of all, you got a shutdown going on, and
just briefly want to mention, you know, you not winning
as Democrats and trying to make a big deal out

(39:02):
of a shutdown. When your buddy's at NPR on Day seventeen,
need to do a headline story reminding people that there's
a shutdown. That's not a good sign. But I also
wanted to ask you about just the situation in the
Middle East. You know, look, I understand all the concerns
when President Trump gets involved in these kinds of things.
People worry that the United States will be dragged into it,
maybe even our soldiers dragged into it. But that's not

(39:23):
what happened. And look, it may happen in the future.
Anything bad can happen in the future, but we should
be celebrating this week. We are not fighting World War three,
as so many people predict it. And the thing that
bothers me, Adam, is that not only do they get
it wrong. It's okay to be wrong, but they were wrong,
and they're not admitting they were wrong. They should all
be out as of Monday, saying hey, we were wrong
about this. We're gonna still be cautious. We don't want

(39:44):
this to happen. But President Trump was right, and now
we have peace, at least for now in this region,
and good for him. Instead they're pretending like they were right.
They weren't. They didn't win, we won, they lost.

Speaker 9 (39:55):
Well, I think it's twofold piece.

Speaker 7 (39:57):
The first piece is when it comes to the government
shut The Dems are just taking misstep after misstep. Right now,
You've got a huge government shut down, and everybody knows
that the Democrat Party are the specific responsible ones, especially
at the Senate level, that aren't willing to just pass
the clean cr and then go back into a conversation.
All of the tax credits they're arguing for right now
are tax credits that were designed. They were designed to

(40:20):
end at the end of the year, and now they
want to hold the American people hostage for one point
seven trillion more dollars in order of more spending in
order for them to get their way so they can
stamp their feed and cry and say we're not winning.

Speaker 9 (40:33):
That's the first major misstep.

Speaker 7 (40:34):
And the second major misstep is President Trump has a
huge success. President Trump, his administration, and a multitude of
other nations that came to the table by his leadership,
has a huge success right now. And this success is
one that he's even gotten kudos from a former opponent
in Hillary Clinton. And we all know how much Hillary
dislikes President Trump and his administration, as well as a

(40:54):
multitude of other Democrats. But the fact is is that
if we go and look at some information that's come
out here most recently with regards to the celebrations of
Trump's success. The one group of people that continue to
refuse to acknowledge that they were wrong are the Democrats
and Democrat leadership. I mean, think about how much ego

(41:15):
and hubris there is in the fact that you can't
just say, you know what, we were wrong. Great job,
good work on ending the conflict in that region, and
let's work together in order to make it a long
term resolution, a long term policy that can keep peace
more established in that region.

Speaker 9 (41:33):
I mean, look, just give the man Us flowers.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
Yeah, it's amazing. And you know Trump is punking them
all when he talks about, oh, maybe I'll run for
a third term. Look, he's not going to do that,
you know, spoiler alert. And that should give the Democrats
some liberty right now to say some nice things about
him because he's not going to run again. But they're
too student, they're falling for it, and they're also too selfish.
Adam Smith, thank you so much for jing. We're going
to check back in on you and your progress with

(41:59):
your campaign was great talking with you again. Have a
great weekend. I know it'll be a working weekend for you.
But thanks, thanks for joining us.

Speaker 9 (42:05):
It's busy. Thanks for having me on, brother, Take it.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Easy, okay, coming up. New York City is in very
bad trouble. You didn't need to watch last night's Mayor
Old debates and know that, but I did, so you
didn't have to. Yikes. American Sunrise early edition will be
right back rainy day there in Dallas, Texas. Is you

(42:48):
take a live look there. Maybe they lit up the
building there in green because the Mavericks Matt Ross used
to wear like all green uniforms. Now they don't really
wear that uniform so much, aymore. Maybe that's why it's
in green because they're getting ready for the NBA season
there in Dallas. They have a good team. Now I'm
just kidding. They don't have a good team. They got
rid of their great players. Maybe next year. Then that's

(43:10):
about the last smile I'm going to have for the
next few minutes, because we had a debate here in
New York City last night, and there's been a lot
of talk about how the moderators weren't fair and no kidding,
these are local news anchors after all, and there was
all kinds of other problems and of course the three candidates,
and listen, I love Curtis Sliwa. I've been in New
Yorker for a long time, lived here on and off
for a long time. When I first lived here around

(43:32):
high school time, you know, the Guardian Angels and everything
were pretty incredible. But his campaign just wasn't put together
well enough to really win this thing. But I want
to show you the thing that really is dangerous here.
And it's not just because this is an issue that
we talk a lot about here on this show, and
we talk a lot about the Middle East and things
like that. It's because this is a guy, Zoramamdan, who's

(43:53):
likely to become the mayor of the city of the
United States with the largest Jewish population, and last night
he said something on that to show you that absolutely
puts all of those people in serious danger. And he
knows it. Check it out.

Speaker 11 (44:08):
The Assemblyman will not announce Hamas. The Assemblyman will not
announce Hassan Piker, who said America deserved nine to eleven.
The Assemblyman just said in his response, well, it depends
on occupation. That is code, meaning that the Israel does
not have a right to exist as a Jewish state.

(44:29):
Which he has never acknowledged. That is from the river
to the sea. That's why he won't denounce globalize the Intifada,
which means kill all Jews.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
Give mister Mumdani a chance to respond to that.

Speaker 12 (44:41):
I want to be very clear. The occupation is a
reference to international law and the violation of it, which
mister Cuomo has no regard for since he signed up
to be Benjamin Netanyahu's legal defense team during the course
of this genocide. And I find the comments that Hassan
made on nine to eleven to be objectionable and reprehensile.
And I also think that part of the reason why

(45:02):
Democrats are in the situation that we are in of
being a permanent minority in this country is we are
looking only to speak to journalists and streamers and Americans
with whom we agree of every single thing that they say.
We need to take the case to every person, and
I'm happy to do that, which is why I was
on Fox News yesterday talking about how I wish it
was more like NASCAR so we could see all the
billionaires were sponsoring you right on your shoe jacket.

Speaker 9 (45:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Actually he doesn't know what he's talking about. Actually, international law,
which is no friend to Israel in the United States,
does not call it an occupation. It calls it a
disputed territory situation. It's disputed territory, not occupied territory. So
be nice if you got that right. But when you
say that there's a genocide and a war that was
not a genocide. Hamas was trying to commit a genocide,
and they are committing a genocide on their own people

(45:50):
right now, killing their own people there. But when you
say that Israel is committing a genocide, you are basically
it is more than a dog whistle. It is a
clarion call for a tax on Jews. This is not
hyperbole in my part. This is what's been going on
in the United States and in Europe especially for many years.
It's a lot of facts to back me up on that.
No one will deny it if they're being honest. This

(46:11):
is a guy who's going to be a mayor of
the largest Jewish population city in this country period, and
he's putting them all in danger, and he knows it.
He's also a communist, and we can talk about all
that kind of stuff. He's going to say he's going
to freeze the rent all these things that he may
or may not be able to do, and he's going
to make it worse. By the way, every time he
tried to freeze or put a cap on rents or costs,
they just go higher. That's also established fact. I thought

(46:35):
the Democrats were the Party of science. This is a
very very serious situation. I don't see a way that
Momdanni loses. I'm a realist. I don't think he can lose,
and so something needs to be done to prepare for this.
Maybe at the federal level, he's committed some crimes, some
campaign finance for crimes. Maybe he needs to be indicted
legally and fairly, But maybe he needs to be indicted.
All right, American sunrise starting in just a moment, two hours.

(46:57):
I'll see you in the nine am hour, and I'll
