Speaker 1 (00:08):
Ahead an American Sunrise Early Edition, Israel has had enough
of waiting and launches strikes against Iran's nuclear capabilities and
its top military leaders. Israel says the strikes will continue
until Iran's nuclear capabilities are no more. Our special coverage
on American Sunrise Early Edition begins now.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Welcome to American Sunrise, our Early Edition, the show where faith, freedom,
and the values that built this nation takes centers.

He will be letting the public know regularly what we
have found.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
American Sunrise Early Edition with your host Jake Nobak, starts
now breaking news from real America's boys.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I am Jake Novak. This is American Sunrise Early Edition,
a very special edition of American Sunrise Early Edition. As
you might suspect, the global worldwide number one story is
what we will be dedicating this hour too as it develops,
and you will be seeing some of the latest information here.
I want to get you updated for those of you
who went to sleep maybe early last night, or don't
have the latest. Here we go at about eight pm

(01:32):
US Eastern US time, Israel began the first of multiple
waves of airstrike attacks on Iran's nuclear sites and precision attacks,
some originating on the ground in Iran from secret bass
built by the Mosad on the ground in Iran targeting
the military leadership of Iran. Iran itself has confirmed that

(01:53):
most of its general staff is dead this morning, including
the head of its terrorist army, the IRGC. All reports
indicate that Iran's main nuclear facility and reactor in the
area of Natan's has either been severely damaged or destroyed.
Other Iranian nuclear facilities have also been hit. Iran's military

(02:13):
response to Israel's attacks has been muted, to say the least.
The regime did launch one hundred drones earlier this morning
at Israel, and they have all been intercepted by Israel
or otherwise were not impactful. Israel has now ended I
repeat ended its warning to its own people to remain
close to bomb shelters, although there is still a ban

(02:33):
on large gatherings Israel, and that is significant as the
Jewish Sabbath begins this evening. However, they are not being
told to stay near bomb shelters. Israel says it will
continue striking until Iran's nuclear capabilities are totally wiped out,
estimating these strikes could last up to two weeks. Here
in the United States, President Trump has put out a

(02:54):
statement on True Social just this morning, saying that he
gave Iran many chances to make a deal before this
Israeli attack. He added, in a clear endorsement of the
F thirty five self fighter jet used in these attacks,
that the US makes the best weapons in the world,
and that the Israelis know how to use them. The
President said, also, however, that iron still has a chance

(03:17):
to make a deal even now. So now you are
updated on the basic bullet points, but there's a lot
more to talk about joining us now. His early edition
political and legal contributor doctor James Nuzzo. He is also
a former White House staffer. Jim, give me your overall headline.
If you were a headline writer for the New York
Post or even the Wall Street Journal this morning, what
would be your headline after that amazing series of events

(03:40):
that I just went through for our viewers.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
This is a return to the period in which, like
the sixty seven War, Israel's overwhelming strength has overwhelmed again
using it twice, overwhelmed a foe which was supposed to
be significantly larger than itself. What is stunning to me

(04:05):
is the old Sherlock Holmes idea of the dog that's
not barking. We aren't seeing the retaliatory strikes yet. Part
of that has to do with the fact that they
have decapitated the senior leadership of Iran. The second is
that they have basically destroyed all of the planes in Iran.

(04:26):
They're either destroyed or they're completely incapacitated. It is stunning
to me that Massad has created created inside of Israel
a drone base over the period of time. I mean,
Massad's always had a great reputation. Between this and the
Pager incident, Massad's reputation is going to go into hyperdrive

(04:51):
and hyperspace. The other thing that you didn't mention in
the Trump Truth social posting was that the question became
after seeing Secretary Rubio's odd and bizarrely distancing statement of
last night, which was that the United States is going

(05:14):
to re arm the Israel. So the idea that they
could overwhelm Israel by basically taking out all of their
ability to fight back, they would run out of munitions.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
That's gone.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
America will indeed go and re arm Israel. That to
my mind is the final blow. And I'll leave you
with one last thing. I hope someone is guarding the
young man or the middle aged man who is now
the pretend shah to Iran is the Iraqi Irani. Iranian

(05:57):
people will be looking for someone to rally behind. He
obviously will not be the real head of Iran, but
he could be a focal point for a new regime.
This is really a regime changing event by Israel.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, and it's not over yet. And just to clarify,
it's the Mosad that put together bases inside of Iran
to launch drones out of perhaps out of front buildings.
Maybe they were a business, maybe it was just a
nondescript warehouse, but the Israelis actually built buildings inside or
populated buildings inside of Iran to put those drones inside
of them and to take out these attacks. Let's hear

(06:37):
it from Prime Minister Benjamin Ninsenianhu himself. This is what
he said, not just to his own public in Israel,
but to the world just after the attacks began.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Listen to this moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion,
a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat
to Israel's very survival. This operation will continue for his
men days as it takes to remove this threat. For decades,
the tyrants of Tehran have brazenly openly called for Israel's destruction.

(07:10):
They've backed up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to
develop nuclear weapons. In recent years, Iran has produced enough
highly enriched uranium for nine atom bombs. Nine In recent months,
Iran has taken steps that it has never taken before,
steps to weaponize this enriched uranium. And if not stopped,

(07:33):
Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time.
It could be a year, it could be within a
few months, less than a year. This is a clear
and present danger to Israel's very survival.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
So again, that is and it's very important to note
that when Nittanyahu makes that statement, he's really talking to
the whole world. He's not just talking to the Israeli public.
This is a statement he's made for a long time.
It was twenty fifteen, for those of you who might remember,
when he came to the US Congress and before a
Joint Session of Congress pretty much told the world that
this is what Israel would do. They would not put

(08:11):
their existence into a crap shoot, and so we knew
this was happening. And it's pretty much what President Trump
said in that true social post. You were warned so
many times, and to not believe it even after all
those years, through three different presidencies was really crazy. I
want to bring Jim just briefly to the United States

(08:32):
and how this might affect us here in the streets.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Here.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Obviously, there will be increased security at Jewish synagogues and
Jewish community centers. It is the Jewish Sabbath beginning this evening,
so that is already definitely going to be something for
the major cities, especially in the Northeast and places like
Los Angeles and Chicago areas where there are large Jewish populations.
But remember, we also have these massive protests that have

(08:56):
been scheduled for tomorrow, this No King's Protest. And I
have to say, say, Jim, I really believe that any
US mayor right now of a major city who isn't
strongly considering rescinding the permits for these protests, which have
already merged with pro Palestinian anti israel groups in this country.
I really think that would be almost irresponsible. I would
hope that every mayor is at least considering rescinding the

(09:18):
permits for very much beefing up security, because this could
be a very easy way to sneak in an attack
on the homeland tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Look, we were going to before this entire episode occurred,
talk about the fellow who could be almost called the
presumptive mayor of New York City who has not even
stated that Israel ought to exist. I think that a
lot of these big city mayors are pro Palestinian. I

(09:49):
don't think they're going to do anything other than encourage
a pro Palestinian protests. What's going to happen, basically, is
it's going to change from an anti ice to an
anti Israeli protest. This is horrible. This is the reason
why people who are in the generation ahead of me

(10:15):
and two generations ahead of me used to keep, even
though they lived in Los Angeles and in New York City,
bags of diamonds between their mattress and the rest of
the bed, because quote, you never know when you have
to flee, and when we would say, well, that's just crazy.
You're in America. Now, I look at them and say

(10:35):
they were prescient. If you're a Jew and you're in
New York, or you're a Jewish supporter and you live
somewhere in the United States, be very careful today, Be
very careful if you wear something which demonstrates that you're
pro Israeli. You just need to recognize that you are

(10:59):
a target.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, it's you know. I would add to that. You
know something that I say all the time, You should
always have especially and this is a great right that
we have in America. You should have a valid passport,
and you should have a licensed weapon that you're training
to use. At least you have that.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Taken away from it, and you should have and you
should have readily accessible funds. Diamonds are a really good
thing and which you can get out because if you
need to get out there yet to have some money
to get out.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Well, that's my segue to the financial markets again. I
put up financial markets when I'm talking about big stories
like this not to be crass, not because we care
about money, but because the people with money, the people
who have skin in the game, can often tell us
what's going on in the world. Now, there was a
time where a news of an Israeli attack on the
Iran sites would have set the markets down by thousands

(11:54):
of points in the overnight. They are down. We're going
to show you those numbers pretty soon. Certainly, the stock
futures are down right now, but not nearly as much
as they would have been at another time in American history. Oil,
of course, is also up, at not as high and
not as much as you would have thought. So I
want you to put all these numbers in perspective when
we take a look at them. First, to take a

(12:14):
look at the stock numbers. Four hundred and fifty six
points down on the Dow futures is nothing we've seen
that recently over no war news at all. Gold is up,
but not by a massive amount. Where at the thirty
four hundred dollars per ounce level crude oil, yes, it's
up eight percent seventy three dollars. That looks like a lot,
since it was about sixty three a week ago. However, folks,

(12:36):
I want everyone to remember on October sixth, the day
before the October seventh attacks, oil Creus crude oil was
trading above ninety dollars a barrow, so it's a bargain now.
That's where we are right now. This is what we're
looking at as we open the markets. This tells me
that the markets are seeing this. They're seeing this as
an Israeli triumph overnight. They're seeing the very muted and

(12:56):
weak response by Iran. So they're not exactly going to
start are buying everything up because they want to see
how the shakes out over the next few days. But
this is Jimmy, you know you're an investor. This is
hardly a panic futures board. I'm showing you right now,
am I now?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
And when I took a look at it at ten
o'clock last night, these numbers were significantly worse. They are
so much better even on an overnight now. The crude
number has nothing to do with whether or not they
think there's going to be a strike on Israel and
sort of a tit for tat, but the fact that
they believe, if it hasn't already happened, that one of

(13:31):
the targets that Israel will probably sort of place in
the crosshairs today is the oil fields and the oil
refineries that are in Iran, and all of Iranians oil
will be taken out of the world market. So you
can't look at the crude number and say this has
to do with the back and forth between Iran and

(13:54):
in Israel. It just basically has to do with the
fact that Israel is beating the devil out of Iran.
It has decimated the Iranian leadership, it has basically grounded
the Iranian air force. And right now, if I was Iran,

(14:16):
I throw in the towel. If I could do one
more thing, it's slightly change Jake. President Trump is like
the man with a hammer who sees everything as a nail.
He thinks that everything has to do with his bargaining power.
There are things which just I cannot be bargained. He
doesn't understand Shia philosophy and theology, the notion of the

(14:42):
thirteenth medi the idea that they never had a desire
to sort of come to the table, that nuclear armageddon
is actually what they theologically are called to do. And
if you have an adversary who not only is willing
but desirous for nuclear arm agedin, you cannot do a

(15:03):
deal with people like that. And Trump just doesn't get it.
I don't know why he doesn't get it. Maybe that
he's just such so arrogant, but that's a story now.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
He's I think he's a quick learner, though, and I
think that that statement he put out this morning was
just the right statement, making it clear that he's still willing.
He knows they're not going to take the deal, but
he by saying he's still willing, he's making it clear
of the United States is not the aggressive here. Doctor
Jim James says, so, thank you so much for joining us.
Ever a great weekend, Stay safe, Thank you for your
advice because everyone really should be vigilant this weekend. Thank

(15:35):
you so much. Why not? All right, coming up, we'll
have more on this developing story. This is the number
one story globally, obviously the big story here in the
United States as well as the United States, make our leaders,
President Trump making statements about it. I'll keep you updated
on everything. America Sunrise Early Edition special coverage we'll contake

(16:16):
Welcome back to our special coverage of the number one
story in the world right now. Israel strikes on the
Iranian nuclear facilities and their top leadership an incredibly successful
way of the attacks overnight. So what's the situation in Israel?
How are they taking It looks like a beautiful morning
in Tel Aviv. I don't see any problems there. That's
the point. Iran's abilities to strike back clearly nonexistent. Iran

(16:38):
did launch one hundred drones at Israel estimated one hundred
drones at Israel a few hours ago, and you can
see the devastation they caused as in nothing none of that.
They were all either intercepted or they were otherwise neutralized.
I am not whistling past the graveyard here. I want
to emphasize that large gatherings in Israel, and by large
I mean more than ten or fifteen people, so not huge,

(16:59):
have been banned and they are still being banned. However,
this is important. The Israeli government has now told the
people of this or that they no longer have to
stay within close proximity of their bomb shelters. They can
move about, really, they can go to work. They're just
asking them to avoid larger gatherings, so that's important. Now
I want to show you the city of Haifa, Israel,
and the reason why I'm showing you Hiv, and of
course Tel Aviva is Israel's most important financial center. That's

(17:22):
also where the Defense headquarters is the city of Haifa, Israel,
and we can put that up and that's Haifa is
for those of you watching here in the United States.
Might be of special interest to you. A beautiful city.
It's also the city that has the largest Christian population
of Israeli Christians. And as you can see, Haifa is
Christine this morning as well. These are places that are

(17:46):
wholly to so many religious people. People are also just
decent people and look not to say this can't get
more serious and more dangerous for Israel in the coming
days and here in the United States. But it should
be noted that for those who predicted doomsday the second
that Israel took on the nuclear sites of Iran immedia doomsday,
they've been proven wrong at least for now. Again, got

(18:07):
to be very cautious about that, but that's important. I
want everyone to understand that. Again, folks, I want to
show you the markets right now what the markets are
saying about this. Again, not because money is the most
important thing, it's far from that, but because people who
have money in the game can sometimes tell you how
serious a story is. And as you see right there,
we're looking at an open for the Dow at four

(18:28):
hundred and twenty five points down. That is nothing. Look,
it's less than one percent of the value of the doo.
So obviously the folks in the markets are not believing
this is going to be World War three and not
believing this is going to get totally out of hand.
You have crude oil. Yes, it is up eight percent
to the seventy three dollars a barrel level, but compared
to where we were less than two years ago, that's

(18:50):
a bargain. We were at over ninety dollars a barrow
the day before the October seventh attacks, just to put
that in perspective. And yes, gold is up, but gold
is up by one percent. If people were really worried
with skinning the game, we're worried about a World War three,
you would see gold at four thousand dollars an ounce.
I'm just telling you that right now. It's speaking of
gold as we're watching all this stuff going on right now,

(19:11):
and you're seeing the Trauma administration also trying to fix
the economic messes it was handed by the Biden administration.
There's not a lot of time to focus on gold
just for yourself. And that's where the folks at Birch Gold.
Come in. I want to tell you about that because
right now they're having a special promotion at Birch Gold
in honor of July fourth. That's where we are right now, folks.

(19:34):
July fourth is coming up, and as you know, that
is the celebration of our nation's resilience and its strength.
So again, as Trump administration tries to work on things,
handling the situation in the Middle East, handling all these
other things, it can't exactly do the right thing by
you personally all the time. That's something you have to do.
They can't take your personal finances to do account for

(19:54):
goodness things all right, So what's the point. What do
you need to do? You have to do that, and
that's why thousands of them Americas are buying gold now
from Birch Gold. You're on the facts. In the past
twelve months, the value of gold has increased by thirty
percent more than that now. Meanwhile, central banks are buying
gold in record quantities, so demand doesn't seem to be subsiding.
The Rio reset is still on the horizon. That's where

(20:16):
bricks nations are looking to unseat the US dollar as
the global reserve currency. But you can find peace of
mind in gold. Birch Gold makes it extremely easy to
convert an existing IRA or four to one K into
attack sheltered IRA in physical gold, or you can even
buy some to store in your home safe does Text

All right, we're going to continue our developing story today.

(20:58):
Our breaking news Israel's tack on Iran's nuclear sits on
its top military leaders. So far looking like a complete,
an amazing triumph Israel right now, almost no resistance to
speak up from Iran. That could change. We're gonna keep
you updated on that. We're also gonna let you know,
but President Trump, a Secretary of State Marco Rubio, I
have had to say about these extraordinary events of the

(21:20):
last eleven hours or so. I'm Jake Novak. American Sunrise
early edition will be chick that is a live shot

(21:50):
of telling you this, Israel. Why are we showing you
this because looks pretty undamaged to me. I think I
see somebody's washed on the on the on the drying
line right there. But other than that, let's pretty beautiful
to me. Again, not trying to smile and laugh at
the situation, but folks, if Iran had any real capabilities
to hit back at Israel, this would not be the
picture you'd be looking at right now. You'd be looking

(22:12):
at smoke, you'd be looking at fire, you'd be looking
at rubble. Iran has not any real capability to fight back,
and that's important. It has been a paper tiger all along, folks.
This segment of America's Sunrise Early Edition is brought to
you by Artillerytcompany dot com. Artillerytco dot com use promo

for twenty five percent off your first order, and I
usually lease as the program where I talk about moving

(22:57):
America talking about automotive news. And one of the things
that's really interesting is, of course moving America can be
through the air as well. President Trump put out a
truth a social post not that long ago, about an
hour or so ago, talking about how he gave Iran many,
many chances to make a deal before this very devastating attack.
There you see it right there, I gave a round

(23:17):
chance after a chance. Interesting in this post he talks
about something that I think is relatively interesting for those
of you who are interested in the whole idea of
moving America. He talks about how America makes the best
weapons in the world and that Israel knows how to
use them. I think the weapon he was referring to
is the F thirty five. Now, listen, folks, those of
you who are pretty well read on that subject, I

(23:39):
understand that is a weapon that has been too expensive.
The F thirty five costs of run well over a
trillion dollars. There have been problems with it. I am
the first to say that but all that said, the
F thirty five, the words of the folks in Star Wars,
is the ultimate weapon in the universe at this time.
This is a stealth fighter jet that can go many

(23:59):
times the speed of sound, that cannot be detected, and
can deliver an absolute death blow to a regime without
ever any anyone even knowing it. And we saw that
overnight in Iran. That's what happened there. You see video
thank you of the F thirty five made by Lockheed Martin,
and in twenty fifteen or maybe twenty fourteen, Israel took

(24:20):
delivery of a certain number of them in a deal
with the United States and immediately doubled the stealth capacity
of the F thirty five. I'm about to talk about
that with a pilot and a CEO of a private airline.
Andrew Schmertz is going to join us in a few minutes.
We'll talk a little bit more about all of that
and some of the pluses and minuses. But that's what
I think President Trump was talking about. Now, I want

(24:41):
to show you where the markets are right now, because
this is usually the part of the program where we
look at the financial markets. I know I've already shown
it to you. But I want to keep doing that
because this gives you an idea about what we're going
to be dealing with here in the United States. In
addition to the security alerts on Jewish sites and certain
other sites in the United States, I think even some
Christian sites do need to be concerned to day and
tomorrow and through the weekend. But of course there's a

(25:02):
financial impact of this. But this is not so bad
as we've been saying throughout the hour. Four hundred and
sixty eight points down on the Dow is just a
little bit more than one percent. Gold is not soaring
to such high levels that you need to start worrying
about the fact that you have cashing your wallet and
not a gold coin. Crude oil is up, but it's
up eight percent, and again it's at the seventy three
dollars a barrel level. The day before the attacks, the

(25:25):
October seventh attacks, crude oil in the United States closed
above the ninety dollars a barrel level. So we are
actually still seeing oil at a bargain. Need to understand
that to move forward. Now, I want to talk a
little about some of it again. The statements that have
been made at President Trump, I think made a very
clear statement that he is still willing. This is one
thing I left out. Yes, he talked about the weapons

(25:45):
that America has and how Israel knows how to use them,
but he also told the Iranian people and the Iranian leaders,
whatever is left of them, by the way, that there's
still a chance to make a deal. And I think
he's being sincere about that. But I think he also
understands that really, what kind of a deal can Iran
get right now? I don't know that. Certainly, the American
bargaining position is a lot stronger. We were worried about

(26:08):
how much enriched uranium Iran had or how much of
a nuclear reactor capacity it had. That has changed dramatically overnight.
I think even the most optimistic supporter of Iran will
have to admit that their nuclear facilities and the nuclear
capabilities have been reduced by at least fifty percent in
the last ten or eleven hours. Israel says, as I
said at the top of the program, they will not

(26:29):
stop until Iran's nuclear capabilities are completely wiped out, and
that means they may continue these strikes for another two weeks,
up to another two weeks so, folks, we have a
situation where President Trump is still extending an olive branch,
but he's extending it from a much much stronger position.
This is something that Iran obviously should have made a

(26:49):
deal over years and years ago, even before President Trump
became president the first time. Instead, they made a deal
that was very favorable to them thanks to the Obama administration,
President Trump and first term negated that deal. Thankfully, President
Biden brought it back and that led to the October
seventh attacks, put a lot of money back in the
Iranian pockets, and now we have a president in this

(27:10):
country who knows what needs to be done. This it's
not about supporting An ally only, although that's important. It's
about understanding that Iran is an existential threat to the
rest of the world. What they have been doing in
recent weeks. It's not only developing nuclear weapons that could
reach Israel, but nuclear weapons that could reach Europe, nuclear
weapons that could reach American bases and American assets all
over the world. That cannot be allowed to continue. For

(27:33):
those of you who are libertarians who feel that is
too interventionist, that you don't like that idea, I would
say this if you were. If this were nineteen twenty
or nineteen forty or even nineteen sixty, I may be
with you. But to take out Iran's nuclear facilities requires
this a few overnight raids. Maybe we're not talking about
sending boys and young women into a major, major deployment

(27:56):
all over the world like we did in World War
One and World War Two and in Korea and even
in Vietnam. We don't have to do that anymore, thank goodness,
we're not talking about wars with massive infantries. It looks
like Israel's air force and its MOSAD on the ground
in Iran have done what it had taken millions of
troops to do just a generation ago. So let's be
thankful for that, but also be realistic. This attack does

(28:19):
not mean World War three. That's why I showed you
those financial market numbers. This wee world War three. The
billionaires and trillionaires in the world. I know we don't
have a trillionaire yet, but we're on the way apparently.
But the millionaires and billionaires in the world would be
panicking a lot more to the tune of several percentage
points on the Dow going down, not just one percent,
and you'd see crude oil well over one hundred dollars

(28:39):
a barrel, not at seventy three. That's the reality. They
may be wrong, but I got a feeling there not
All right, coming up, we're going to have more on
the story, and as I said just a moment ago,
we're going to talk to a pilot talk about the
aviation aspect of this, because this was all an airstrike.
Was a time in military doctrin when people believed nothing
really that major could happen from it air strike. You

(29:00):
still had to send in troops on the ground. Is
that's still true? American Sunrise Early Edition, Right back the summer.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Breaking news from Real America's voice.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition. Usually at this
time I'd be talking about how it's no tie Friday,
getting ready for the weekend. But we have a major
global story going on right now that affects every nation
in the world, especially the United States and of course
the Middle East. Israel overnight took out a massive number
of Iran's nuclear sites, and according to Iran's own reports,

(29:45):
just about all of the Iranian military leadership. Now this
was a number of different kinds of strikes that I
just want to run through quickly. Over two hundred Israeli
aircraft to attacked Iran and several waves starting to get
a about eight pm Eastern time US time. Iran's about
eight hours ahead of US, so figure that was about
two am Iran time. Okay, so sorry, four am Iran time.

(30:10):
So that's what was going on there. You see some
major attacks. But what you're looking at there, the smoke
coming out of those buildings very likely came from another
part of this attack, which is that the Israeli Mosad
built buildings inside of Iran, one or two of them,
where they were housing drones that knew exactly where to
hit top military leadership from Iran. They took them out.

(30:32):
They took them out, not just hitting their personal buildings,
but hitting the floor of their buildings where they lived.
And of course that's very important because that means there
was a lot less collateral damage. I saw video and
reports from sources that I know inside of Iran, very
brave people inside of Iran who are enemies of the regime,
who showed video of people coming out of their apartments
when they saw the smoke coming out of their neighbors

(30:52):
buildings and they know who their neighbors are. They knew
that they were Iranian generals and started celebrating in the
streets when they knew exactly what had happened. Of course,
the other big part of this is that the Iranian
nuclear sites, according to Iran itself, their main nuclear facility
in the region, known as Natans, is either completely destroyed.
I know that's redundant. Is either destroyed or it's almost destroyed.

(31:14):
There are other nuclear sites that have been taken out.
The debris airport has been taken out. Apparently Iran's aircraft,
their military aircraft have either been neutralized in some way
or also taken out. Those of you who know your history,
this is very reminiscent of Israel's preemptive strike before the
Sixth Day War in nineteen sixty seven, when almost the
entire Egyptian air force was taken out while it's still

(31:34):
sat on the tarmac. They were not prepared. Speaking of aircraft,
I want to welcome my guest right now. He'scotch Air
CEO Andrew Schmertz. Andrew, I want to talk to you
about the aviation thing about this because I think beyond
politics and beyond war, we are seeing here a seminal
moment in the history of aviation. You're a pilot. You
may not be a military pilot, Andrew, but you would

(31:56):
have to be very, very blind not to see that
this is now the place where I think people when
air warfare just began, thought it might eventually get to
It took this long, But here is an example where
I think something is almost completely being done via the
air and perhaps maybe winning a war just through the air.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
No. Absolutely right. And it's not just the F thirty five,
which is an incredible machine, and we'll talk about that
in a moment. It's the use of UAVs, of drones.
There's a lot of technology at play that makes not
just air superiority, but air dominance in this world. So
in this world order, I think you're right. I think
that wars could probably be one And you know, I'm

(32:37):
not a military expert one or loss in the air
unlike years past. You know, if you're not attempting to
take over a government, you want to do this by
air because it reduces your risk of casualties, and with
the capabilities that this specific aircraft has, it reduces collateral
damage as well. You know, I've only seen the F

(32:58):
thirty five perform at air shows, and as a reason
the military rolls this plane out during the air shows,
despite how expensive it is to fly. It's because they
want the American public to go, wow, amazing American innovation
with this aircraft that was on display. There's a lot
of controversy surrounding the F thirty five Joint Strike fighter,
but I don't think that controversy extends when a country

(33:20):
like Israel uses it to the capabilities.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
That it has. Yeah, I mean I wrote a column
ten years ago explaining what Israel had done with the
F thirty five, just really days after it was first
delivered to Israel. Israel had already gone to the Lockheed
Martin factory here in the United States where the F
thirty fives were being made at the time, and started
to work with the engineers there to double the stealth

(33:43):
capacity of the F thirty five. So, as well back
as twenty fifteen, and you can look me up, got
out of my on my social media feeds, I wrote
a column explaining that Israel now had the capability of
flying from Tel Aviv to Iran and back undetected. That's
what happened. Apparently about two hundred times in the last
couple of hours, Andrew, and this is something that the world.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Knew then, and it's amazing because Iran had stated in
the spring that they now had technology that they could
track the F thirty five and that they could shoot
it down. Iran obviously overstated its case because they had
no idea this was coming. Because the F thirty five
literally sneaks up on you because it flies faster than

(34:26):
the speed of sound. The plane is over your head
before you ever hear it.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
That's right. I mean, if you if you heard the
F thirty five, it's already back a couple hundred miles
away from where you that's right, that's right. I want
to talk to you about the kind of people who
are the pilots of these jets. Again, you're not you're
not a military veteran, but the kind of people and
how it's different. I'll give you something about it. Just

(34:54):
here for a little bit of a preamble. I want
to tell you the people who are flying those F
thirty five and the other elite jets in the Israeli
Air Force, telling you that they are identified by school
teachers and community leaders as basically when they're thirteen years old.
There are certain attributes that they have that are noticeable
even at that young age. For those of you who

(35:15):
are football fans, you might understand. You might put this
as similar to knowing who a good running back is.
They'll tell you at twelve and thirteen years old, the
college and NFL scouts know who's going to be a
good running back. Same is true for fighter jet pilots,
at least in Israel, they are identified, they are taken
out of some of their regular school programs and already
started to put on these kind of programs. What does

(35:35):
it take to be a pilot of a jet like this?
From your perspective, Andrew.

Speaker 5 (35:40):
So, I have a friend who's a former Air Force pilot.
I think these are elite individuals. These are to go
along with your football analogy, the best of the best.
They're the quarterbacks on the NFL level, because you need
to be in terrific shape to fly these aircraft, just
sitting there letting the plane do all the warkcase, you're

(36:02):
pulling g's, you're flying very fast, you're doing military maneuvers,
so you have to be at your top athletic performance
and mentally, I imagine you also have to be incredibly sharp.
So these are the elite pilots of the world flying
these these fighter jets, and you always have to be ready,
right because you're not doing this that often. And ye

(36:22):
F thirty five in this country does not fly that
often because of the expense, So you have to always
be prepared and ready. So I imagine that's what goes
into being a fighter pilot, specifically with this airport.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
Two, Leah, let's talk about the cost, because this isn't
just a cost of the American taxpayer. You know, obviously,
this is a huge percentage of Israel's GDP, and the
dream of many Israelis has been that one day those
percentages can come down, that they'll be able to be
safe enough to spend money on other things. I actually
think it's quite incredible that Israel's economy has become so

(36:55):
strong and it's no longer even remotely a third world country.
It is one of the more strong economies in the world,
even with this incredible burden of military spending. But you know,
you know, you were just saying these jets are so
expensive to operate. Talk a little bit more about that,
how expensive they are just to fly them forget about
using them in an attack.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
I think I've read that the F thirty five costs
about one hundred to one hundred and fifteen thousand dollars
an hour, and that's just to operate. I know that
the Pentagon has faced a number of mechanical issues with
the aircraft over the years. There's reports that certain number
of planes have been grounded because the military doesn't have

(37:35):
the money, it doesn't want to spend the money to
repair them. That's really the problem with the F thirty five.
If there is a problem, it's really the cost. It's
cost of operation and it's cost of maintenance. And they've
had to address specific maintenance concerns over the years with
this aircraft. But that's the price of.

Speaker 6 (37:52):
Being in this business.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
Obviously, you develop a highly technology, technologically advanced aircraft, there
are going to be problems along the way, and because
it's military, those problems always cost more than maybe they should.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Right, let's talk about aviation here in the United States.
In response to this, I'm expecting to see they always
say it heightened security at the airport's. I think we're
going to see that today. What should people expect at
the airports? I mean, it's not like anyone has gone
to the airport in the last ten years and expected
things to be just you know, goosey goosey over there.

(38:27):
But it's gonna be a little bit more heightened. What
can we expect and what can people who aren't doing
even private aviation expect. There's going to be a little
bit more. There's gonna be some more safeguards today, aren't there.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
Yeah, I think there's always scrutinies. So in the public
commercial space, I don't know if security will get any
specific tougher that I think people will notice it. There
probably will be some additional security, maybe additional screening for
some passengers. In the private aviation space. This is an
issue that we consider considerably fight back against. There's always

(38:58):
pressure to have more upgraded security in private aviation and
I and that spotlight has been on us for specifically
over the past year that has been ramped up. The
TSA is taking a look at at what actions they
can they could take to improve security because right now,
you know, you can just get on a plane and

(39:18):
there's very little security in private aviation. And the argument
is that there doesn't need to be because you know
who you're flying with right, you're either flying with yourself
or you're flying with your family. But there's pressure building,
and I think the industry has responded accordingly and appropriately
to that pressure in kind of beefing up security. There
hasn't been any any attacks. That doesn't necessarily mean that

(39:40):
the that that it's safe, but there hasn't been.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
I would just say to everyone, whether you're going on
net jets today, whether you're going on Hopscotch air with Andrew,
whether you're going on a major flight, just just be
vigilant today. It doesn't matter. It's always important to be
that way. And and also don't be naive enough. The
thing that things just got dangerous today. We've had attacks
in this country even just in the last couple of

(40:05):
weeks see a Boulder, Colorado and all these other places.
The idea that this is a new thing today is silly.
But you still have a chance to be a little
bit more vigilant. Andrew Schmert, CEO of hotchcotsh Er, thank
you so much for joining us. Have a great weekend
and a safe weekend you too. Jake, thank you all right,
coming up our David Brody's going to join me we're

(40:26):
going to talk about this massive story. And you know
how things get with David and I, we talk about
big picture. We'll be right back in America sunrise ear leadition.

(40:52):
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then you've
seen just about a million, because this is a live
shot of Tel Aviv, Israel, israel most important strategic city,
the seat of its defense council. And ain't no damage there, folks.
They've attacked their most serious enemy for decades in the region.

(41:14):
Decimated more than decimated, probably cut in more than half
their military leadership, probably neutralized just about all of their
nuclear facilities. And this is the damage in Israel. It's
nothing again, not trying to whistle past the graveyard. Things
could get bad, I get it, but Iran's capabilities for
counterattack greatly, greatly exaggerated. And I want to welcome back

(41:36):
David Brody, who's been on vacation for the last few days,
but he's back here at Real America's Voice. And David,
you know you're one of the first people I wanted
to talk to last night when the story was breaking.
I actually caught you on the on your plane texting you,
and so I was glad to have that conversation with you.
You know, again, what's your headline here for you personally

(41:56):
and maybe and just what you want to let the audience,
what you would say to them is really the most
important thing to get out as a message right now
from a news perspective, that.

Speaker 6 (42:05):
America is the great Satan. We need to remember that
that that Iran is indeed coming after America. I mean,
that's the bottom line.

Speaker 7 (42:11):
I know there's the isolationist wing and there's the no
forever wars. I shouldn't say it's a wing, it's it's
a mantra of maga if you will, no forever wars.

Speaker 6 (42:21):
I get it. That is not this, That is not this.

Speaker 7 (42:24):
And first of all, let me be very clear. I
don't I don't want to get us tangled up in
any sort of war in the Middle East. Who who
does I mean, let's put I mean, do we really
need to put the caveat out there and the disclaimer
out there?

Speaker 6 (42:35):
No one wants that.

Speaker 7 (42:36):
But let's remember this is a country Iran that tried
to assassinate President Trump, the president of the United States.
This is a country that yells death to America all
the time. This is a country that has had terror
plots left and right all over the world, including inside America.
So this idea that this is just about Israel and Iran,
it's the Middle East and we just need to stay

(42:57):
out of it.

Speaker 6 (42:58):
Well, listen, I want to stay out of it, don't
get me wrong.

Speaker 7 (43:00):
But if you think that they're coming for Israel and
not for America, that's what you need to understand.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
That is not the case. This is not Ukraine.

Speaker 7 (43:08):
Okay, this is not Ukraine at all, and I think
it's important to understand.

Speaker 6 (43:13):
Look, here's the deal, Jake.

Speaker 7 (43:14):
We talk about these short range, short term ballistic missiles,
short term range becuse me, ballistic missiles. Let's talk about
what we understand to be happening as we move forward,
which is intercontinental ballistic missiles. As we know that could
hit LA, could hit New York, all of that type
of thing. And oh, by the way, they'll throw a
nuclear warhead on those intercontinental ballistic missiles, and then what happens,

(43:38):
Oh do we have another nine to eleven, but this
time not three thousand dead, but maybe three hundred thousand
dead and New York into oblivion.

Speaker 6 (43:46):
Look, I'm not trying to be negative, Nancy. If you will.

Speaker 7 (43:50):
But the truth of the matter is that's what they
want to do. And if you think Aaran really cares
so much about Israel, they do. They want to exterminate Israel,
but they also want to exterminate America. So we should
thank Israel for what they're doing here, because the truth
of the matter is that Israel is what is in
essence between Iran and the United States, and this is

(44:10):
a national security interest. Look, it's a country that wants
to assassinate President Donald J.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
Trump. Is that not a national security interest?

Speaker 7 (44:18):
And there's a whole lot of other reasons why to
make this a national security interest as well. Once again,
to be clear, I don't want a forever war, but
that's not this. If you've got a problem with forever wars,
talk to George W.

Speaker 6 (44:29):
Bush, Dick Cheney and those folks.

Speaker 7 (44:31):
That's where your beef is, not necessarily in this time,
in this space.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Yeah, you know. And also, David, today, my thoughts are
very much with the families of those two hundred and
forty one Marines who were killed in nineteen eighty three
in Beirut by Iran and basically forced the United States
to run I mean, you know, I'm a huge fan
of President Reagan, but he ran tail between his legs
out of Bayroot after that. Not that I think that

(44:57):
that was a bad policy. I just kind of wish
he had done it before that attack and not after
because of projected weakness and led to four decades of
strength for Hesbolah after that, which is of course that
Iran's proxy there. So I'm thinking about that as well.
But it's so important that you say this. You're going
to hear accusations today from misguided people and some people
who are frankly paid by Iran to say this. You're

(45:18):
going to see a lot of this in the news
media today, on social media, saying that this is the
beginning of World War three, this is what the Jews
always wanted, Israel always wanted, and it's none of those
things what we're seeing. I mean right now, the price
America is paying for this is what a four hundred
point loss on the Dow in the first two minutes
of trading, which might end up in the green by
the end of the day. That's less than one percent

(45:38):
for five minutes. Who cares. No one's died. No American
has died yet, No American has really been put in
any more danger than he or she was twenty four
hours ago. I mean, i'd've just woken up that we've
been under attack by these terrorists forever. Yeah, and we
have a big protest movement this weekend that I'm nervous about.
That's nothing new.

Speaker 6 (45:55):
Yeah. And here's the other thing.

Speaker 7 (45:57):
What is Israel supposed to do at this point? Everybody
calls it a preemptive strike. Look, Iran was ripe for
the picking. We know this, right, we know that their
nuclear sites were vulnerable. This is the time to do it,
There's no doubt about that. So this idea that you know,
they're trying to kind of egg on war, what else
would you? I mean, look, they've got short term ballistic

(46:18):
missiles that they put a nuclear warhead on in whatever days.

Speaker 6 (46:21):
Weeks and everything, and Israel is gonzo. So this site.

Speaker 7 (46:25):
I mean, would America if we were, if America was
in that situation that Israel was in, would we not
do the same thing?

Speaker 6 (46:32):
Absolutely we would.

Speaker 7 (46:33):
And under Donald J. Trump, we would make sure that
no one is going to attack America.

Speaker 6 (46:38):
That's what Israel did. Good for them.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Yeah, Well, apparently Iron's biggest weapons still standing. This morning
are Medi Hassan and somebody else on MSNBC, So I'm
feeling pretty good about it. That's why you should stick
with a real America's voice instead. American Sunrise a big
two hours coming up, a lot of other stories besides
this breaking story. I'll see you again on Monday.
