Speaker 1 (00:04):
Ahead on American Sunrise.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's been nineteen days since President Trump triumphantly returned to
the Oval Office, and if you blinked, you may have
missed something.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
The President getting things done. Take a breath.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We have the latest plus is Cash Bettel's confirmation to
be the next head of the FBI in jeopardy. Senate
Democrats playing politics and they put a hole over on
Cash's nomination. More information moments away, and President Trump signed
an executive order that will have the Justice Department targeting

(00:38):
anti Christian bias.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Well, what should that look like?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Exactly those details and so much more ahead as American
Centrise starts sun a.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Friday, or right now. Good morning, America.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking
news to share with you.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Politics.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Trump is joining us live now from Florida.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
We've got your cover. This is what it looks like
to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
The American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody, I'm Terrence,
and I'm Doctorentina. All right, good morning, I'm doctor Gina.
We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's
bring in David Brody. He's in Washington, DC and teammates
in our Denver newsroom. Good morning, guys, a super Bowl weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Huh, that's good.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Philly cheese steaks. That's all I'm gonna say. That's where
we're eating Philly cheese steaks. You read into that what
you want.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Well, I might have on Kansas City Chiefs red today,
and I don't wear red often, but it's also we're
red for Women's Heart Health Day, so I figured, you know,
red red for the Chiefs, Red for heart health. But
my house is going to be a house divided on
Sunday over the super Bowl, for sure. David. How about you?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, I'm wondering if that's a subliminal rent. So you're
saying maybe Kansas City Chiefs. Is that what you're saying?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You're wearing subliminal reds this morning?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I mean from Missouri, David, I have to root for
the Chiefs. It's not like I'm the first Chiefs fan.
I'm not even in an NFL fan. Honestly, I like
the SEC a lot better. But you know, I mean,
you gotta go for the home state.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
All right, Well, I'm going Eagles. I'm going Eagles.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
I will not be going for my New York Jets
because the last time they were in the Super Bowl,
I think it was in black and white.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
So I'm done with the Jets. I get that.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Hey, guys, look, there's a lot to talk about, a
lot of stories that we're gonna be covering today. One
of them is that President Trump met with House Republicans
at the White House on Thursday. Turned out to be
a marathon meeting that went so long that House Speaker
Mike Johnson ended up missing his appointment with Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Nett and Yahoo coming up. Congressman Andy Harris
joins us to discuss what went on. Plus veterans, we

(02:50):
have got your back. The new Secretary of Veterans Affairs,
Doug Collins, is going to join us to talk about
what's going on at his department. We'll also get to
talking about Eli musk indoge from USAID to other agencies,
who is on the chopping block. Those are all questions
we'll try to get answered for you. A really full
show coming your way. But Doctor Gina, as always, would

(03:11):
you give us our Bible Verse please?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I'd love to. Let's check out today's Bible Verse it's
from Psalm forty two to eleven. Why art thou cast down,
Oh my soul? And why art thou disquieted? Within me?
Hope thou in God, for I shall yet praise Him
who is the health of my countenance and my God.
You guys, while we are on the topic of our faith,
let's turn our attention to our nation's capital. Yesterday, President

(03:35):
Trump signed an executive order and created a Department of
Justice Task Force to eradicate anti Christian bias. Take a look.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
The mission of this task for us will be to
immediately halt all forms of anti Christian targeting and discrimination
within the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was
absolutely terrible, the IRS, the FBI terrible, and other agencies.
In addition, the task Force will work to fully prosecute

(04:06):
anti Christian violence and vandalism in our society and to
move heaven in order to defend the rights of Christians
and religious believers nationwide.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Joining us now with more from Washington is Rap Chief
White House Correspondent Brian Glynn. Brian, what type of reaction
are you seeing over this new measure at the White
House and on the Hill? Never seen this one before?

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Nope, we haven't a happy Friday, everybody.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
We have not seen this before, and this is something
that President Trump mentioned quite a bit on the campaign trail,
the persecution against Christians.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Not only here but around the world.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
And of course he used a great example at the
Prayer Breakfast Yesuay talking about a seventy eight year old
grandmother that was simply sent to jail in years in
prison for simply praying outside an abortion clinic, not touching anyone,
not blocking their access, simply praying. So uh, this new
addition to the Department of Justice, I think is hugely

(05:10):
accepted with amongst Americans, as we feel like this has
been weaponized. We do not have religion of freedom of
religion rather, so this is hugely popular, not only here
in DC, but what I'm seeing online doctor Gina around
the country.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Brian, I'm going to use the football analogy. Since the
Super Bowl is on Sunday, throw a flag on the
Democrats for delay of game. They're pushing cash Detail's confirmation
back until next Thursday. There's not going to be a
vote until next Thursday. Dick Durbin, the Democrat, is really
the main guy behind it.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Let's listen. Yeah, he is, and I'll out look ahead.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
I'm sorry for me, mister Patel and reviewing his record,
and I do not believe you meet the standard. Mister
Pttel is neither the experience, the temperament, nor the judgment
to lead an a agency of thirty eight thousand agencies
and four hundred field offices around the globe.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
All right, Brian, go, I don't think you even need
to lead him to that. Well that really.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
Yeah, Well, let me throw a flag on him as well.
He is the same person that is actually trying to
block the list of Epstein files, the list of people
associate with that, so we could throw a flag. I'll
throw a red flag on that. I'm putting the yellow
one aside. This is just a delay for a week.
I think ultimately we're going to see cash Betew confirmed

(06:39):
and push through.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
But this is just a stall fat.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
This is calling a timeout when you simply don't have
any timeouts left to call. But he's doing it anyway.
It's not going to work. But remind you, the same
person that's blocking the Epstein files to be released as well,
so that tells you a lot about that Individual'd.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
You pointed that out, Brian, That's really true. Hey, so
have you heard.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
It's been a whirlwind a few weeks as the President
has been getting up and running, slashing waste of making
sure that the taxpayer dollars are not wasted. Yesterday, Brian,
I got to get your take on this, the administration
said they are going to keep two hundred ninety four
that's it, two hundred ninety four USA staff out of

(07:21):
over wait for it.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Ten thousand globally.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
So obviously they're gutting one of the biggest waste of
government money out there.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
What are you hearing on that?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
And this just is really the beginning of so much
more to come. And what's striking to me, Brian, is
that compared to Trump's first term, where he wanted to
kind of do this, it was not as fast and
furious and disciplined and focused as.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
This time around. It's much different this time around.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
Yeah, and we've got Elon Musk and his group of researchers.
They call them teenagers. I say, God bless these teenagers
that are taking the time to dig into all of
this information and to find this out. I mean, when
you rattle off the list of things that we have
been funding, it's absolutely ridiculous. So these are things that
have been going on for years and years. So I

(08:14):
think this is only the beginning. I think each and
every week you're gonna find out more things that have
been subsidized by American tax dollars. And so it's great.
I mean, do we need Sesame Street in Afghanistan? Do
we need transgender studies in Guatemala? Do we need those things?
And by reducing the staff like they have, I think

(08:35):
that shows that we're trying to hold people accountable. And
mind you, in this subcommittee on DOGE, it's going to
be very interesting to see just how many Democrats want
to stop and investigate all of the fraud in medicaid.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Huge fraud going on to Medicaid.

Speaker 7 (08:52):
That happens on Wednesday next week at ten am, and
that Subcommittee on Dogs, we'll find out exactly where the
Democrats stay on actually stopping fraud that we know is
happening right now.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
That will set the tone for the rest of the sessions.
In that committee. I can promise you that.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Ryan, we touched on this yesterday, but the dims are
at it again. Impeach Trump hysteria has begun just weeks
into his presidency, nineteen days nonetheless, take a listen.

Speaker 9 (09:21):
I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the
president has begun. I rise to announce that I will
bring articles of impeachments against the President for desperately deeds
proposed and desperately deeds done. I also rise to say

(09:43):
that the impeachment movement is going to be a grass
up movement, not a top down. The people have got
to move forward. The people have to demand it, and
when the people demanded it will be done. I did
it before, I laid the foundation for impeachment, and it
was done.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
It's taking just about every ounce of self control. I
have not to mock his cadence and intonation that he
is mocking actually from doctor Martin Luther King's I have
a dream speech, which is disgusting that he would use
that cadence and intonation to try to end three syllable
words to try to sound like he knows what he's
talking about. I mean the whole thing, Brian. It's theater.

(10:24):
It's theater. It's the opposite of what voters voted for,
which is authenticity and sincerity in this last election, isn't
it it is?

Speaker 7 (10:36):
You literally took the words out of my mouth. But
I will say this, Congressman green And from Texas, I'm
very familiar with the way he likes to get up
on those five minute floor speechs. He gets famous on
c SPAN for they do the for social media clips.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
That's exactly what that was sent to do. It has
no truth in that. The people voted on November fifth.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
So whatever, if it's a grass up, the only thing
I know is a grass behind me sits in the
lawn of the White House, which the people put President
Trump in. So if that's the grass he's talking about,
then he has no chance. There's no chance this becomes
anything other than a pipe dream from the Democrats. It
makes for good rhetoric from their side, but at the

(11:15):
at the end of the day, that's what we expect.
That's what they're going to do for the next four years.
They're not they're not focused on solving problems. They're just
focused on being an distraction. And that's what he was yesterday,
a big distraction.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Well, Brian, there's just a little ray of sunshine this morning.
There's one shining right in on you, illuminating you and
that beautiful White House lawn that has returned to the
hands of the people. Thank you for being with us.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Brian, Thanks you, Brian, Thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Coming up, we check out the hottest headlines from the
RAV newsroom, with the one and only Tea Baths, and
later an outrage that could prove deadly. A California radio
station is exposing undercover ICE agents as they attempt to
deport illegals, all while outlaw gangs make plans for retribution.
That story so much more just ahead as we continue

(12:07):
rolling on into this Friday.

Speaker 10 (12:18):
This news break gets brought to you by AMAC, Association
of Mature American Citizens.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Olympia, Washington. Here on a Friday. It's a puppy Friday,
It's a freedom Friday. Heck, it's just a Friday TGIF.
Welcome back, everybody to American Sunrise on the Big Show.
Just coming up in mere moments, Ice agents exposed. A
radio station in San Jose, California is outing these ICE
agents on the air.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
What in the world we'll talk about it. First.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Ot baits standing by with a very special guest, and
it's all sponsored by AMAC.

Speaker 11 (12:58):
The Association of Mature a Citizens is the conservative voice
for Americans fifty and older. AMAC is fighting for the
values that you hold, dear. Joined today, together we can
write the course of America.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Well, everyone, it has been a fast and furious few
a few weeks in Washington, specifically at the White House.
As we come to the close of another week and
day nineteen of the Trump presidency, the commander in chief
engineering big changes domestically as well as around the world.
One headline reads President Trump's stunning start reshape the government,

(13:34):
remake the world. Now, keep in mind the President only
returned to office nineteen days ago. From buying Greenland, to
taking over Gaza, to dismantling all of the waste that's
happening in DC, the President has some very ambitious plans.
Joining me now with his take and of you from
Capitol Hill is Congressman Andy Harris from the great state

(13:54):
of Maryland. Congressman, get to see good morning. All right,
So let's start with yes, yesterday, you and your colleagues
had a pretty long meeting there with President Trump at
the White House. It's my understanding it was about five
hours or so. What are your takeaways from that meeting?

Speaker 12 (14:10):
Well, the President is very interested in changing the fiscal
situation in the United States. He understands that we have
to get our fiscal house in order. He also understands
we have to control our border. And again, this meeting
was to make sure that the House of Representatives is
on board. We are on board, and we're going to
work to help him advance his agenda.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
All right, So we have seen over the past six
to eight months, or let's just make it a year,
that you and your colleagues have been on board with
shoring up our budget, for instance, but you haven't been
able to really come to any concrete resolution. You've continued
to kick the can down the road, the proverbial road.
So are there any concrete plans in place? It's my understanding.

(14:53):
There was a long work session at the Capitol last night.
Any big announcements.

Speaker 12 (14:58):
We made good progress. We're almost there. The bottom line is,
you know, look, we have to make sure we have
the two hundred and eighteen votes before we go to
the floor, So we have to get everyone on board.
We have to craft a plan again carefully that gets
two hundred and eighteen. And I think we made great
progress yesterday. I think we're on the verge of a
breakthrough that will help the President deliver on his agenda how.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Quickly will we see this breakthrough? And I asked that
in the context that I believe many of your colleagues
are going to be leaving Washington today.

Speaker 12 (15:27):
Well, we are going home for the weekend to our districts.
But again they'll be working over the weekend into early
next week to hammer out this plan, and hopefully we
keep our fingers crossed that we'll have something to present
to the Budget Committee next week and again start this
ball rolling down the road. Make sure the president has
resources to control the border. That's very important right now.

(15:49):
The President ran on it. We're starting to see the
deportation of illegal immigrans who are dangerous for this country.
The President needs funds. The Democrats are not going to
give it to them, so we're going to have to
do it on our own.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Put into perspective for us, how critical a win is
for you and your colleagues on Capitol Hill, particularly with
this mandate from the American people. How critical is it
that you guys come together and pass something of substance.

Speaker 12 (16:12):
Well, this win is critical for the American people. I
mean that they do expect the government to get behind
President Trump's pushes right now. And you know, whether it's
the Department of Government efficiency finding just horrendous examples of
government waste, fraud and abuse, or whether it's giving getting
him the money for his border control. We need to
we need to again lock arms and advance with the

(16:35):
president and get his agenda delivered.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
What challenges do you foresee lying ahead for President Trump?
Obviously he has a unified House and Senate, so he's
got support there. But in terms of getting the rest
of his agenda pass, what challenges do you foresee if.

Speaker 12 (16:52):
Any Well, you know a challenge that was bigger in
the past is the mainstream media. They obviously don't like
what the president is doing. The deep state doesn't like
what the President is doing, and they have strong and
powerful allies in the mainstream media. But again, the alternatives,
there are many alternatives out there now. People get their
information from many other places. And I think this time

(17:14):
will be much more successful than his first term because
America realizes that they weren't told the truth the first time.
And again some of the things they're uncovering Elon Musk
is uncovering, for example, are just egregious examples of taxpayer
wasted money.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Congressman, we appreciate your time this morning. Enjoy your weekend.
A lot still ahead for you and your colleagues there
on Capitol Hill. Thanks for being here. Thank you of
course coming up, can you have a heart attack and
not even know it? The surprising truth and how to
protect yourself is ahead. But next, left wing militant groups
are teaching illegal self defense lorder to help them fend

(17:52):
off deportation rades. That story coming away in a little
bit right now, though a quick look at this day
in history road funny and politically incorrect by any standards.

(18:22):
It was on this date in nineteen seventy four that
mel Brooks's Blazing Saddle is a Western spoof that he
co wrote with comedian Richard Pryor.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
Premier.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
It wasn't at Grahmin's Chinese theater rich of course, was
customary for big Hollywood films back then. Instead, it opened
at the Pickwick drive in in Bourbon. Viewers watched from
horsebacks rather than their cars. Blazing Saddles starred Cleveland Little
and Gene Wilder, and it's considered mel Brooks's best work.

(18:51):
More of your best coming your way right after this break.

Speaker 13 (18:54):
Where all the white women.

Speaker 10 (18:59):
Scoring a man who was grave.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Kansas City Missouri.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
You know the deal the Chiefs, the Sunday against the
Eagles being allowed and going for the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
She's from Missouri. She's not a Tailor Swift fan, so
don't start.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
No Taylor Swift a non starter for doctor g Welcome back,
everybody to American Sunrise.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I'm David Brody.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Some disturbing, a dangerous news from the San Jose, California area,
a city, by the way, that has been overrun by
illegals and.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Has been plagued with gang activities.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
So what you were about to hear affects each and
every immigration officer trying to remove the lawbreakers from our country,
and they're getting help from their friends in the liberal media.
Here is the headline. It reads as follows. Fcced a
probe radio station and endangering ICE agents. The SCC, by
the way, can all they want, but the damage is done.

(20:02):
The brave men and women to protect our border daily
are being outed and exposed. We know how deadly those
attacks can be. Joining us now with his take on
this developing situation. As Ron Vitella viatelloscuse me a senior
advisor to US and Customs and Border Protection, Ron.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
Thanks for being here.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
You know, what do you make of what you see
in San Jose, because this is dangerous stuff.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
You can't play around here.

Speaker 14 (20:29):
Well, this is the failing city of San Jose and
the failing state of California with this radio station chooses,
you know, to have what they believe is better judgment.

Speaker 15 (20:39):
But it's just wokeism on display.

Speaker 14 (20:41):
They put these men and women on the front line
who swore an oath to protect us all, including the
residents of San Jose. They want to expose their identities,
want to expose their locations in the city. And what
exactly are these frontline patriots doing. They're going out and
finding people who are in the country illegally who have
also committed crimes in San Jose or other parts of California.

(21:04):
So this is more failure and more destruction by the
left who's trying to convince America that this work should
not be done, that we shouldn't be deporting criminals who
are also in the country illegally.

Speaker 15 (21:15):
It's the woke nonsense taking over their brains.

Speaker 14 (21:17):
And let's face it, California is, you know, the failing
it's a failing state.

Speaker 15 (21:22):
Between twenty twenty and twenty twenty four, they lost one point.

Speaker 14 (21:25):
Two million Californians that left California to go someplace else
in the United States, mostly Texas and Florida. Oh but
that's okay. They got about twenty three thousand immigrants that
built backfilled the one point two million taxpayers that left
the state. And so this is this is dangerous on

(21:45):
its on its face. I'm not concerned about the men
and women of ICE because they're going to do their
jobs regardless. But they don't need this extra tension or
this extra risk brought by this radio station.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Yeah, no doubt.

Speaker 14 (22:05):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
So let me ask you what go ahead?

Speaker 2 (22:08):
N I want to Yeah, I wanted to ask you
as well. There's a group of radicals in Los Angeles.
We've been talking about it. It's called the Union del Bodio.
It's offering self defense classes to illegals I mean talk
about wokeness. I mean training them how to fight against
immigration officers and how to get away from.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Custom enforcement raids.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
And they're so bold ron that they recruit new members
daily and hopes to get them to join car patrols
aimed at expelling ICE agents from their neighborhoods.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
I mean, this is just Look.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Here's the thing, you're going to side with criminals. I mean,
that's basically what they're doing here.

Speaker 15 (22:48):
This is Marxism on display.

Speaker 14 (22:51):
You know, this is a group that believes in the
rights of indigenous people and prosperity for folks that are,
you know, being displaced, or colonialism or whatever they have
they want to talk about. You know, the men and
women of ICE again, they swore an oath to protect us.

Speaker 15 (23:06):
They have a mandate from the voters.

Speaker 14 (23:08):
Right, the American people voted Donald Trump into office so
they could appoint people like Tom Holman and christinom to
help fix what's going on on their border and make
the streets in America safe. And the large portion of
making our cities in town safer is taking these criminals
who are in the United States illegally and sending them
back home. We're doing that in large numbers across the

(23:31):
country with the help of our heroes in the Department
of Defense. ICE flights each and every day to foreign countries,
repatrioting folks that are in the country illegally. And then
these targeted enforcement operations in the cities and towns in
the United States sanctuary or otherwise looking for the Trandiarragua,
vicious Venezuelan gang and other people.

Speaker 15 (23:52):
Who are in the country illegally of committed crimes.

Speaker 14 (23:54):
And so you know, they want to fight against this,
they want to militate against it.

Speaker 15 (23:58):
But this is just Marxism on display. And the men
and women of San Jose, Los Angeles.

Speaker 14 (24:05):
California, Denver, and Aurora, Colorado, the people who live in
those communities, the people that work hard to put food
on the table and send their kids, they want to
send their kids to safe schools.

Speaker 15 (24:15):
They're cheering on the men and women of.

Speaker 14 (24:17):
The front line, including those ice officers that are out
there each and every day protecting us.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Ron newly sworn in Attorney General Pam Bondi ordered the
Department of Justice to pause all funding for sanctuary cities.
How helpful do you think this tool is ultimately going
to be and how will it help law enforcement?

Speaker 14 (24:35):
Well, this is the key for the future, like to
be able to sustain the rule of law in our
cities and towns. You know, the Left has been successful
in confusing Americans and saying that having people in the
country illegally expelled or having them in the country is
against the law. And so I'm grateful that the Attorney
General is now taking this question on because we should

(24:57):
not be funding the demise of the big cities in
the United States. We should not be funding sanctuary cities
to any degree from the federal government. If they cannot
comply with federal law, then they need to find the
resources on their own. We shouldn't be given them from Washington.
So I appreciate that it starts with a pause.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Uh.

Speaker 14 (25:13):
And it's our fervent hope that they're going to end
this destructive policy that that that affects everybody's quality of
life in these places, and we're going to end this
terrible idea of sanctuary cities, and we're going to get
back to the rule of law.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
But these cities are going to sue Ron you know this,
And many of the judges in these cities, in these
venues where they will ultimately be decided, are of course,
liberally appointed judges. What do you think the chances are
that some of the some of this actually stands.

Speaker 15 (25:49):
I believe the American people are on her side. Again.
We talked about the I talked about the election. That's
why Donald Trump is the president today.

Speaker 14 (25:56):
And so I think eventually we will prevail in the
supremacy effecteral law to adhere to the rule of law.
The laws and the books about being president and being
illegal in the United States are very clear. There were
passed many decades ago, bipartisanally and signed by a president.

Speaker 15 (26:11):
That's the law of the land.

Speaker 14 (26:12):
Yeah, we'll probably have a few district judges, maybe some
of the bigger bodies.

Speaker 15 (26:18):
It'll eventually go to the Supreme Court.

Speaker 14 (26:19):
But I think the law is on the side of
the Attorney General and it complies or it goes along
with the desire of American.

Speaker 15 (26:28):
Voters who voted Donald Trump into office.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, and let's also remember that Donald Trump literally reshaped
the federal judiciary the first time around. And though Biden,
you know, obviously appointed quite a few federal judges, Trump
appointed more. So we'll see how that goes. Okay, Ron Fotello,
thanks for being here, appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Have a great weekend.

Speaker 13 (26:48):
Thanks Rod do you two?

Speaker 15 (26:50):
Thanks all right?

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Coming up next, President Trump signed a historic executive order
saying biological men cannot participate in women's score And guess
what the woke crowd said, no, foul, foul.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
We have the latest.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
But next, is it possible to be suffering a heart
attack and not even know it.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
The answer ahead as American Sunrise continued.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
You guys, I spent fourteen years of my life in
that see that far right back window facing the river
there over the fountains. That was my husband's Senate office,
and that is where my children were homeschooled. And I spent,
as I said, fourteen years of my life. You can
go all the way up to the top of that dome.
It's kind of cool. You got to have a senator
or a house member let you in. But that's my hometown.

(27:55):
You guys, I grew up there way too much at
Gina history that you did not need. Welcome Bac to
American Sunrise, I Recogia, thanks for joining us. I'm now
for today's health news, sponsored by the Wellness Company and
under the Microscope. Today February is Heart Health Month. Today
is actually we're read for Women's Heart Health Day. But

(28:15):
all of this comes with the question can you have
a heart attack and not know it? When a character
on a TV or in a film suffers a heart attack,
you almost always see them clutching their chest and pain,
But in reality, heart attacks can be much more subtle.
With actually very mild symptoms. If you don't get to
the doctor emergency room immediately, a silent heart attack can

(28:36):
be just as deadly when your arteries are clogged. Every
second counts. In the United States, there are approximately eight
hundred thousand heart attacks each year in about one hundred
and seventy thousand of those are the silent type. Partial
artery blockages are generally the cause of some many heart attacks,
but don't be fooled. Complete artery blockages can cause silent

(28:56):
and also major heart attacks. Just because the symptom are
mild doesn't mean that damage done is also mild. So
how can you reduce your risk of a heart attack? Well,
move more. Walking fifty minutes five times per week can
reduce your heart attack risk significantly. You can also try
a Mediterranean diet rich in fruit, vegetables, olive oil, and

(29:19):
lean meats, and you don't have to overhaul your entire diet,
but make sensible choices. Get your cholesterol checked. There's a
lot of new emerging research on cholesterol, so you want
to talk to your doctor about the latest data on this.
But traditional wisdom said that higher cholesterol clogged arteries increasing
your risk of a heart attack, be screened for diabetes.

(29:41):
Untreated high blood sugar can damage blood vessels and raise
heart attack risk. And finally, and this goes for all symptoms.
Talk to your doctor if something feels a little off.
It's a new day in America, new administration in Washington, DC.
A lot of excitement, a lot of optimism, but the
reality there's a lot of work to do as well,
especially when it comes to fixing our broken healthcare system.

(30:05):
There are forces that are responsible for breaking our healthcare
system and they're not going to simply go away. The
changes in system won't happen overnight, so now more than ever,
you want to be prepared. That's where the Wellness Company
comes in. Their doctors are medical professionals that you can trust.

(30:26):

the proper use of the meds in the kit, from
flu to strip to COVID to the bird flu, A

(30:47):
your family safe. Make America healthy again. It starts at home.
Do your part protect the health of you and your family.
Go to TWC dot health slash rap that's TWC dot
helth slash rab use promo code rap to save to
pursuit David. What's happening over there?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Well, a lot because Donald Trump is president, so a
lot of things are happening. President Trump's not a historic
executive order this week saying biological men cannot participate in
women's sports.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
What do you know? Go check with the Bible.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
The order makes agencies interpret the Federal Title nine laws
prohibiting transgender women. That's what they call them, and girls
in female sports. Anyhow, here's a.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Part of what the President had to say.

Speaker 13 (31:30):
Take a look.

Speaker 16 (31:30):
The administration will not stand by and watch men beat
and batter female athletes.

Speaker 11 (31:36):
From now on, women's sports.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Will be only for women.

Speaker 16 (31:40):
In recent years, the radical left his waged an all
out campaign to erase the very concept of biological sex
and replace it with a militant transgender ideology. We're honored
to be joined today by many incredible advocates for women's sports,
including the brave swimmer at the forefront of this Battlin
Riley Games is a person that I've been watching through.

Speaker 13 (32:04):
My action this afternoon.

Speaker 16 (32:05):
We're uputting every school receiving taxpayer dollars or notice that
if you let men take over women's sports teams or
invade your locker rooms, you will be investigated for violations
of Title nine and risk your federal funding.

Speaker 17 (32:18):
That will be no federal funder.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
Donald Trump, a champion for women and liberals take smelling
salts and we're trying to revive them as we speak.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
For reaction, let's.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Bring in former NCAA swimmer Paula Scanlon. Paula, great to
have you here on the show. What a great day
in America. I'll tell you what. The NCAA now, by
the way, changing its policy as you know, on men
participating in women's sports, and they now say only women
assign the female gender at birth. What do you know
can participate in women's sports. It's a novel concept, I know,

(32:52):
but it's a big.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Step in the right direction. How important is this What
sort of impact will this have? Paula, and good morning
to you.

Speaker 18 (32:59):
Good morning, Thanks thank you for having me on today.
The impact this will have, I mean is that the
next generation of female athletes aren't going to have to
worry about what I personally experienced at the University of Pennsylvania,
Riley gains experience at the NCAA Championship. I mean, there
have been so many women, and not just to us,
of course, I mean the entire row behind Trump and
those videos. I was there other female athletes who had

(33:21):
been effected across many different sports, across many different levels.
Peyton McNabb high school volleyball player permanently injured by a
male athlete. I mean, these are real stories of girls
who have been harmed by this. And knowing that Trump
signed this executive order and saying enough is enough means
the next generation of female athletes aren't going to have
to worry about being permanently injured by a male athlete
on the opposing team, aren't going to have to be

(33:42):
worry about losing their roster spot or their trophy in competition.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
And it's a great win.

Speaker 18 (33:48):
And I was really really grateful to be there and
experience all and I'm really grateful to President Trump for
his leadership on this issue.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
Paula. Three former UPenn swimmers are suing Harvard for reportedly
violating Title nine by allowing transgender swimmer Leah Thomas to
compete at the twenty two Ivy League Championships. The suit
claims each defendant violated Title nine by allowing a trans
identifying swimmer to compete at the event, which was hosted

(34:15):
by Harvard. Now, Thomas won several events that year we
all remember and sparked backlash for it. Do you think
after this executive order we'll see more of these types
of lawsuits.

Speaker 18 (34:27):
I'm very curious so that will be the case. I mean,
I hope that we do. I really think every single
organization and any person actually even that allowed this encourage
this behavior deserves to be held accountable. And I'm you know, honestly,
the NCAA changing their policy yesterday was very interesting to see.
In my opinion on that is, they're still cowards because
they had to wait until Trump made an executive order

(34:49):
when they could have done the right thing years ago
when this happened. That NCAA Championship where Leah Thomas won
was three years ago. They've had plenty of time to
change course, and they chose not to, and so again,
I do hope they continue to be held accountable. I
hope they continue to see lawsuits, and I do hope
every girl who's been affected by this that is able
to file a suit does.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
So I want to say something. I want to ask
you something really quickly. I was on my way into
work this morning and I saw a woman with a
T shirt on that said protect our trans children. What's
your response to people who are saying that this is
about protecting children.

Speaker 18 (35:24):
First off, there is no such thing as a transgender child.
I just want that on the record. People like that
are trying to blackmail us into agreeing with them, and
the reality is is I do care about children. Of
course we do. And caring about children is not saying, hey, kid,
take these hormones and chop off your body parts to

(35:45):
be happy.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
That's not caring.

Speaker 18 (35:46):
That's not kind, and in fact, that's actually very grotesque
and disgusting and no one should stand for that.

Speaker 15 (35:52):
And so people like that, I.

Speaker 18 (35:54):
Really don't know what you know. That woman is probably
mentally ill, and I hate to just throw that out there,
but truly, that's what this is. And we have pandered
for so long to people with mental health crisis is
and we are now in the situation that we're in
where a sitting president had to sign an executive order
to say something as simple as men don't belong in

(36:14):
women's sports. And it's because of those types of people
that we've had to become and put in the situation
that we are in now.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
She's really advocated to hire suicide rates because that's what
it comes down to.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
David No, Yeah, I was just gonna say a ten
second comment. It's just a comment. We need, thank you,
Thank you, Paula. We need boldness like that to say
the truth, that is the truth, and there's so many
people that just don't do it. So thank you for
doing that. Gino, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
And it is a mental illness. You're absolutely right about that.
It's a used to be categorized under the borderline personality
disorder in DSM, and I don't know whatever happened to that,
but Paula Scalen, we appreciate your strong stand. God bless you,
thank you for being here.

Speaker 8 (36:51):
Thank you both.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
You know, if they're so pro life, I mean, if
they're so pro child, maybe they could be pro life.
Now all these people out there advocating for these saving
the children coming up? Why are left is so angry
that government waste is being exposed to? How we show
you the latest Trump derangement that you are going to
love and later ending anti Christian bias. President Trump vowed
to put an end to it. Can it be done?
Stick around back.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Into Welcome back to American son Rid. It's great to

(37:34):
have you along for the ride on this Friday morning.
We appreciate you waking up with us. It is now
time to stay awake and not woken and focus Today
is this headline which reads Hawley says liberals are losing
their minds over exposing government waste, calls out agency Trump
should take down next. So here's what the senator from
Missouri had to say about Democrats who are in panic

(37:56):
mode right now.

Speaker 19 (37:57):
They're panicking big time, Laura, because their power base is
being threatened.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
That's what's really going on here.

Speaker 19 (38:02):
I mean, look at what they're doing over USAID. This
is because they've used that as their personal plaything, and
that includes billions and billions of taxpayer dollars that have
gone yeah to fund outrageous stuff overseas, like trans affirming
projects in Zimbabwe or whatever. But also let's not forget
to fund their preferred media outlets like Politico and who

(38:25):
knows what other left wing rags have been getting money
federal government money from this agency and there's been no accountability.
So yes, what's happening is Trump is exposing all of this.
He is cutting off the liberal supply chains, as it were,
and the liberals are just losing their minds. They're totally
losing their minds.

Speaker 17 (38:42):
We need more of.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
It, while the Democrats are losing their mind ravs. David
Zerr has hit his breaking point when it comes to Democrats.
He joins us now to talk a bit more about
all of this. David just smiling. I wish I could
say that I could take responsibility for that line, but
that was our producer, David, So kudos to Dave on

(39:03):
that one, Dave Brown. So, look, what do you make
of all of what Senator Howy just had to say?

Speaker 13 (39:07):
Well, if I don't laugh, I'm gonna cry.

Speaker 20 (39:09):
And the left is having meltdowns as Trump cuts it
all off. Right, they're unhinged, saying Elon Musk is enriching
himself as a billionaire oligarch while.

Speaker 13 (39:18):
School lundreds are digging away from the little children. And
now he's going into the Department of Energy. You get
all the new codes you know.

Speaker 20 (39:25):
And meanwhile he's granted access to the IT system by
Edger Secretary Chris Right. Everything is read only files. But
the meltown continued on social media this morning. Terms One
person wrote, the guardrails are gone. A billionaire owns the
US and all her intel to do with what he wants.

Speaker 13 (39:41):
You all should be quite frightened.

Speaker 20 (39:43):
How long before he takes over the peggy of the
financial system. But Bill Cassidy, Senator from Louisiana, said it
best Elon Musk's tests with conducting a much needed financial
audit of the fence and how is this any different
than all these big DC consulting firms being paid to
order to do the same thing, but they never appear
to come out with a positive income. They just enriched

(40:04):
themselves and by million and a half dollar houses in Alexandria,
and the protests for the most organic thing on organic
things I've ever seen watching but Carrie Sellers and Gretchen
Colson on Cina and the other day looked like they
were at a.

Speaker 13 (40:17):
Funeral when watching Chuck Schumer and the.

Speaker 20 (40:19):
Low energy process protests without a grassroots MAGA type base
of hard working Americans taken to the streets and terrence.
This is why Andrew Mitchell, Jim Acosta, Chuck todd All
stepping down from media, Joe Scarborough saying they need to
do more sports and entertainment on Morning Joe because they
have nothing. They're getting their butts handed to them on
all fronts. And the sweet irony of all this as

(40:40):
Obama started it, Trump just renamed the previously existing US
Digital Service launch in twenty fourteen to improve healthcare dot
gov website, which was a total failure.

Speaker 13 (40:50):
Trump brought it out from under.

Speaker 20 (40:51):
Omb placed it under White House executive control. But this
is similar to the chain link fences in the temporary
housing at the Boarder years ago under Trump right.

Speaker 13 (41:00):
Obama did that as well.

Speaker 20 (41:01):
He started it, and it was only to make sure
the kids were safe and they had a clear view
of everybody. But imagine we had DOGE at every level
of government, including state and local, and can we make
DOGE a new federal department at the cabinate level. Congress
can create it. They got the power to do it.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
You talked about be the Office of Budget and Management.
Russ Vod is now the head of that. Sounds like
he's going to have his work cut out for him,
particularly with all the fraud, waste abuse that has been
found just in the first nineteen days of this presidency.

Speaker 13 (41:31):
Go sleep for the weary for the next four years.
It's going to be a roller coaster.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
Absolutely, all right. So what's impressed you most about President
Trump's first nineteen days back in office. It's been a whirlwind.
It has almost been hard to keep up with what
stands out in your mind if you will.

Speaker 20 (41:49):
I'm most excited about Chris Wright as an Energy secretary
in the US energy policy shift to produce more energy
from fossil fuels, refilling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, more LNG
liquid natural guests output, getting rid of the Jones Act
and exporting it abroad, a new rn D because Americans
can't wait another day for economic relief, and it will

(42:11):
happen through more energy production.

Speaker 13 (42:13):
Terrence.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
All right, So we started to say we started the
segment off with saying that you're at your breaking point.
Tomorrow will be your show breaking point. What do you
have coming up?

Speaker 20 (42:23):
Well, it's my six year anniversary show on Real Americans
breaking point. I have Middle East expert Israel Elis on
Gaza rebuilding and the reality of relocating Palestinians. David Bessman,
one of the nation's top financial advisors, on Trump's use
of the threat of TARIS to bring countries in line
and the impact of TARIS on main Street USA. I
have CIA whistleblower Kevin Ship on intertwining history of US

(42:47):
AID and CIA operations abroad. And I have my friend
David Lifsky, persecuted by the J six Committee for raising
money to help J six families, cost them millions of dollars,
to get out of the mess, and to defend himself.

Speaker 13 (42:59):
It's going to be a pack show, David.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
Congratulations on six years of excellence, continued to success. My friend,
I can't talk this morning.

Speaker 20 (43:07):
Yeah, it's okay. It listens so much going on, it's
hard to keep up. And thank you so much, Terrence.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
Absolutely, we'll talk soon. Up next, we'll have our moment
of faith, folks. President Trump has put a target on
anti Christian bias. The details moments away.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
God bless the US.

Speaker 11 (43:38):
In the beginning, God created the heaven.

Speaker 5 (43:41):
And the earth.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
All right, welcome back to the American sunrise. It is
now time for our moments of faith, brought to us,
of course by Lee Greenwood and the God blessed the
USA Bible in focus today stopping anti Christian bias. President
Trump has vowed to bring an end to it, to
a look.

Speaker 6 (44:05):
I'm announcing that I will be creating a brand new
Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty. It's going to be a
very big deal which will work tirelessly to uphold this
most fundamental right. Unfortunately, in recent years, we've seen this
sacred liberty threatened like never before in American history. There's

(44:26):
nothing happened like the last four years. What's happened with
So many things have gone bad, but religion, what they've
done and the persecution that they've executed have been just horrible.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
All right. The President has asked his brand new Attorney General,
Pam Bondi, to investigate the targeting of Christians and to
fully prosecute anti Christian violence and vandalism in our society.
Joining us now, Father Frank Pavone, the director of Priests
for Life. Great to see you, father. Other than President,
he said that he would be creating a White House

(45:02):
Faith Office led by Pastor Paula White, you will be
part of it is my understanding. Anyway, what do you
think of having an office concentrated on faith at sixteen
hundred Pennsylvania Avenue And what will this really look like.
I'm a little bit confused as to what this actually is,
like a task force or can you explain it to

(45:23):
us a little bit and really what the power will
be to actually take on some of the some of
the worst offenders.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
In this Well.

Speaker 21 (45:32):
President Trump has made it clear, you know, from his
first term and even in the interim, there has been
a National Faith Advisory Board that I've been part of.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
Paula White has led it together.

Speaker 21 (45:44):
With other pastors.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
And the idea here really is very simple.

Speaker 21 (45:49):
As President Trump said yesterday, and he said many times,
you don't have a free America without faith. You don't
have a great America unless the church and her pastors
and her are faithful, are able not only to speak
their faith, but to apply it to their business life,
to their schools, to their private activities, to their public activities.

Speaker 17 (46:13):
America is a place where.

Speaker 21 (46:14):
The expression of faith, not just in the churches, but
in the workplace needs to be robust, and it needs
to be fully protected. So now he's taking this to
level two point zero. He has had faith offices before,
but now the sense I get you.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
Look at, for.

Speaker 21 (46:30):
Example, the task force you just mentioned right that Pambondi
will head. I've got a list here of the people
that are going to be part of that. We're not
talking about some outside group that you know, the president
will get advice from. We're talking about a group here
that's going to involve the Secretary of State, the Secretary
of Defense, the head of the FBI, and a whole

(46:52):
bunch of other cabinet and other officials that are going
to be meeting regularly to say, we have to make
sure that no believer ever feels like they have to
make a choice between following their faith and following the law.

Speaker 4 (47:05):
Wow, it really is a new day, Father Propone. This
is so exciting. I just I can barely put it
into words, and I can't wait to see what they
do for others. You yourself have suffered great persecution for
standing for life, even within your own faith, and so
many others have with just for saying a prayer, for

(47:26):
going to church, for not wanting to inject a foreign
substance into their body, for not wanting to abort a baby.
The list goes on and on. Father Pone will be
praying for you as you take this step forward with
the administration, and it's super exciting. Thanks for joining us today.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Great to be with you.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
Thanks all right.

Speaker 4 (47:45):
Back with the second hour of American sun Highs and
Doe do protect will this.

Speaker 14 (47:50):
Yeah to grow?

Speaker 1 (48:00):
Good morning, America.

Speaker 4 (48:03):
Welcome to American Sunrise.

Speaker 3 (48:06):
Wellther it's culture.

Speaker 4 (48:07):
We have breaking news to share with you.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
Politics.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.

Speaker 3 (48:14):
We've got your couple.

Speaker 1 (48:15):
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
We have to protect the American family.

Speaker 4 (48:21):
The American dream is still alive.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
I'm David Brody, I'm Terrence, and.

Speaker 4 (48:26):
I'm doctor Gina.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
Welcome back, everybody to the second hour of American Sunrise.
I'm David Brody, coming to you from DC the Dave State.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
Ooh you on, Muscle's guming after me. No, he's not.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Let's bring in doctor g She's in West Palm Tea
Bates in our Denver newsroom. Can I just say that
we've got so much going on in this segment we
got we're jam packed that we can't even really vamp
much and I'm not going to be able to talk much.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
Gina. Here sadly, and I love hearing myself talk. Gina,
I'm very sad.

Speaker 4 (48:59):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
Thing is kind of forced it.

Speaker 4 (49:01):
Let's get let's get into the block, Terrence. What do
you think? Oh?

Speaker 17 (49:04):
Thank you, absolutely so.

Speaker 3 (49:06):
Look let's start here, guys. At least forty thousand and
as many as sixty thousand federal workers have reportedly accepted
President Trump's offer to willingly resign and still receive their
salary for another eight months. The deadline to decide was
at midnight. However, a federal judge temporarily blocked implementation of
the buyout program until at least Monday. Lawyers from the

(49:26):
Justice Department, as well as unions representing about eight hundred
thousand federal civil servants are set to make arguments before
the judge Monday afternoon. In the meantime, the four unions
representing those federal workers argue the buyout offer is unlawful
and arbitrary, DOJ lawyers, saying once the issue is settled,
they'll notify every federal employee who's eligible for the buyout.

(49:49):
In the meantime, the gutting at USAID is ramping up
as a majority of the agency staff will be put
on leave at closing business today. We're also learning that
the Trump administration only plans to keep about two hundred
and ninety four of the more than ten thousand employees
at the department. The humanitarian aid agency has been a
target for government reorganization under Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency.

(50:13):
Some USAID employees have reportedly begun receiving pink slips already.
The administration's ultimate plan is to merge USAID with the
State Department under Secretary of State Marc or Rubio's leadership. However,
achieving that may take an act of Congress kicking the
cash down. The kicking the cash can excuse me down

(50:36):
the road. I wrote that, and I thought it was
gonna be witty, and then I messed it up. That's
what's happening is the Senate Judiciary Committee is set to
vote on Cash Bettel's nomination for FBI director next Thursday.
That vote was initially scheduled for Thursday morning, but Democrats
on the committee are stalling and forcing a delay. Patel
is expected to get out of committee during his next
week vote. In the meantime, Senate Republicans are expected to

(50:59):
shift their immediate focus to getting Director of National Intelligence
nominee Tolcy Gabbert and helping Human Services Secretary pick Robert F.
Kennedy Junior over the finish line.

Speaker 16 (51:10):
Well.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
President Trump is attending Sunday Super Bowl between the Kansas
City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Secret Service says
there has been extensive planning and coordination to ensure the
safety of everyone who attends the big game. President Trump
didn't say who he's rooting for, but he is saying
there is one quarterback who's a pretty good winner. He
of course, is referring to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. For

(51:33):
more on President Trump's schedule for the weekend, let's bring
in rav's chief White House correspondent Brian Glynn. Ryan, I'm
not going to even go to ask you who you're
rooting for, because I know you've got a son at
Texas Tech, so that might give people an indication of
who you might be going for. But tell us what
all is on tap for the President this weekend.

Speaker 5 (51:51):
Yeah, Well, he's got a busy day.

Speaker 7 (51:53):
Just today, He's got the Prime Minister of Japan coming
to visit him a little bit later this morning, and
that has just been the they are.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
Built of who's who in the world.

Speaker 7 (52:02):
Not only have Governors Newsome and Greg Abbott, but you
also have Benjamin Yawho.

Speaker 5 (52:07):
Now you have the Prime Minister of Japan.

Speaker 7 (52:09):
He's also going to sit down a little bit later
and do an executive order in terms of what we've
been talking about the Department of Justice and have this
kind of faith element into it to go after anybody
that's persecuting Christians.

Speaker 5 (52:20):
He's got that. But he's going to leave a little
bit later today.

Speaker 7 (52:23):
He's going to head down tomorrow a lago and then
on Sunday he's scheduled to arrive there in New Orleans,
where he's going to take part in a little bit
of Super Bowl action. A lot of people with speculating
whether or not New Orleans is safe for not only
the fans, but should the president be going there. And
of course I think Christy nom and her department and
all of law enforcement have done an incredible job. I

(52:43):
spoke to Governor Landry a few days ago in regards
to the security.

Speaker 5 (52:48):
Of the Super Bowl.

Speaker 7 (52:48):
He is completely confident that everyone going to the game,
Terrence will be safe. But the President's sitting up in
that box. I don't know who he's going to root for,
but he did make that comment. I'm glad that you
point that out. There is one quarterback that's, I guess,
known to have been a little bit maybe pro Trump
than others. But it should be a good football game

(53:10):
on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (53:10):
Terrence, Absolutely, I know what I'm going to be doing.
And by the way, Brian, I'll be eating cheese steaks.
I'll leave it there. Ryan Glynn reporting from the White House.
Always get to see my friend. Yes, sir, have a
great weekend you as well. All right, let's get you
over to David Brody.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
All right.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
The busy morning continues, more fall out and reaction continue
to pour in about President Trump's proposal for the US
to take over the Gaza Strip.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
We're gonna own it.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
Trump said the US would rebuild it as well.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
The people of Gaza would need to leave because it's
really dangerous. So here's Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nett and
Yahoo on all of this.

Speaker 22 (53:45):
The actual idea of allowing Chris Gazin's who want to
leave to leave, I mean, what's wrong with that, they
can leave, they can then come back, they can relocate
and come back, but you have to rebuild Gaza. If
you want to rebuild Gaza, you can't have This is
the first good idea that I've heard. It's a remarkable idea,
and I think it should be a really pursued, examined,

(54:07):
pursued and done because I think it will create a
different future for everyone.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
A remarkable idea for more.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
Let's bring in newly sworn in Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins. Congratulations,
mister Secretary, and it's so great to call you that
here on American Sunrise.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
Good to have you.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
So.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
President Trump definitely thinking outside the box, and it's a
pretty big box.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
Your thoughts.

Speaker 17 (54:35):
Hey, well one, good morning to everybody. Cheese tanks come home?

Speaker 4 (54:39):
Really some Kansas City masterpiece barbecue.

Speaker 3 (54:44):
Secretary, My wife is from Philly. Oh, I got to
come home. I can't come home for anybody else. Go ahead, Secretary.

Speaker 17 (54:52):
Sorry man there, Hey, look, d I think everybody in
the board is good to see. Look, there's a there's
a cool wind blowing through DC right now, and it's
not just the weather. It's a fresh perspective coming from
Donald Trump in this White House, and it's affecting everything.
It's moving fast. The press is trying to keep up
because they can't keep up with somebody who has good idea,
who's been thinking about it since his first termed the

(55:14):
four years, he said what he was going to do.
He's doing what he says, and it's exciting to see
that the emphasis is back on the American people, the
emphasis is back on doing things that make our government efficient.
And here at the VA, I can't wait to continue
the work that we're doing here. We've already started seeing efficiencies.
We've already started telling our workers we're going to step
up to the plate because for me, it's all about

(55:35):
the veteran secretary.

Speaker 3 (55:37):
I'm hearing that Elon Musk and his team was at
Vanco headquarters yesterday. They were starting their audit process. What
are your concerns or thoughts about what you've heard in
conversations with him, even at this early date. And secondly,
what reaction are you getting from workers within your new
agency about them having to come back. It's my understanding
that they've got to be back on the job in

(55:57):
the building by the end of this month. And then
even in the next month.

Speaker 17 (56:01):
Yeah, well, number one, let's put some what's true and
what's not. Well, it's not been to the building. We
do have an official adoach who's here, one person who's
helping us look at our efficiencies, looking at contracts, things
that need to make sure that we're spending money on
the first priority, which is our veterans and veteran care
and veteran benefits. So that's really what's happening here. This
person is helping us with our efficiencies to make sure

(56:22):
that we're doing what we can at the VA for
the person. We're the people that we're supposed to help,
and that's our veterans. So let's just just spell those rumors.
The media loves to throw this out there. You know,
it's amazing how they really quick to defend a big government,
but when it comes to me in an efficient government,
sometimes they don't want to talk about that. That's all
we're doing here. But I will say this about our
folks coming back into work, I look forward to seeing
them and I look forward to them continuing the work

(56:44):
that they're doing. I've said this over and over again.
I believe that we have a wonderful workforce. But I
really also know that we've got to have high standards
for all of us, and for many that means coming
back into work. For others in our hospitals who've been
working most forget that an organization of four hundred and
fifty plus thousand people, most of our people have been
in day in, day out in our hospitals, in our
sea box, taking care of patients every day. So we're

(57:06):
going to just continue to fine tune what we have
here to make sure that veterans are getting the service
that they need.

Speaker 4 (57:12):
Mister Secretary, is there a plan? I'm wondering because one
of the things that really bothers me is how much
the last administration worried about illegals and put all of
this money into illegals and left our homeless veterans on
the street. Is there a plan at all? I don't
even know if this is under your purview in this
capacity or not, but I really want it to be

(57:35):
because I want our homeless veterans to be taken care of.

Speaker 17 (57:39):
Yes, you're looking at definitely our purview. This is what
we're going to be working on, and this is gonna
be a whole of government approach, and this is gonna
be one in which we're going to take Scott turnover Hud.
We're going to make sure that we're making sure that
we have resources there. We're gonna go to DoD Pete
and I have already talked about this and saying how
the Secretary of Defense is saying, how can we make
sure transitions are better out coming in back from the

(58:00):
military world to the savine world, so that they can
get the benefits that they've already earned, so that they
can make good employment choices, good family choices, and so
that they can stay in their homes that they have.
And then we have resources here at the VA to
help with that as well. And those are the kind
of things that we need to get out. So this
is why I'm doing coming back on seeing friends like you.
I want anybody watching this today that's a veteran who

(58:22):
has earned the benefits. You know, go to VA dot gov.
You can find the information there that there may be
benefits that you can take advantage of. If there's something
you don't want. Again, this is a great thing about America.
It's your choice, but we're offering that for the service
that has been made. And homelessness is something there's two
things that are very close to my heart. In addition
to everything we've got going on, homelessness being one of them,

(58:42):
and ending the death by suicide. We have right now
just a note for you, and this is something for
our prayers but also for our work that we have
an average that you've seen the number seventeen death by
suicide in the veteran population, forty percent of those had
never had content tack with the VA. We're going to
look to change that because that means lives being saved,

(59:04):
and I believe that that everything needs to happen there
as we look forward into this. I do have a
quick good story. We've had two people I get to
talk to them today in our call centers that actually
helped two veterans not in their life by suicide this week.
That's the good news of the VA. You're going to
hear me share that well.

Speaker 4 (59:21):
That is I just have to thank you for that.
That is so exciting. I used to work at a
suicide hotline during my first master's degree, and I'm telling
you that it's so great and I want to say
if there's anything I can volunteer to do to help you,
always have me go ahead.

Speaker 1 (59:34):
David ready, go'll put you to work.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
I just want to say that we appreciate you, and
our audience appreciates you for everything you've been doing before
this and the task that you have at hand. And
you're going to get after that bureaucracy, and that's a
job in and of itself.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
But we got about twenty seconds.

Speaker 3 (59:55):
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
How do you tackle the bureaucracy in twenty seconds?

Speaker 17 (59:59):
Go just kidding, I don't know one at a time.

Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
And that wasn't even twenty seconds. That's called officiates. I
love it.

Speaker 17 (01:00:08):
Well, I was trying to get David back some time
so he could talk.

Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
Oh, thank you, And my ego appreciates its secretary Colins,
thank you so very much.

Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Good to see my friends always, good see you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
That's great stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:00:24):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Coming up, the CIA.

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
Has reportedly offered buyouts to the whole workforce.

Speaker 5 (01:00:29):
The whole workforce.

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
How would it impact the entire agency? We're going to
take a look at that first though.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Former Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell, Well, he suffered another
health scare.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
See now right there, you see that he's in a wheelchair.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
I should he retire anyway, We're gonn take a look
at that next American cent rise back in a moment.

(01:01:06):
Welcome back everybody to American Centrize. That's the name of
the show. I'm David Brody, that's my name as well.
Great to have you with us this morning. Time now
to drain the swamp. This morning, we're flushing out former
Senator GOP leader Mitch McConnell, who has honestly just been
on Capitol Hill way too long. So this week he's
been using a been seen using a wheelchair at the Capitol.

(01:01:27):
McConnell's spokesman says, the eighty two year old is fine.
Wheelchair just a precautionary measure. But McConnell did fall down
the stairs at the Capitol this week, and that is
what reportedly put him in the wheelchair in the first place.
The eighty two year old also fell in December after
a weekly lunch with Senate Republicans, and of course we
have seen him mentally freeze up right in the middle

(01:01:48):
of sentences.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
So why is he still there?

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
I mean, honestly, Gina Terrence, oh gosh, are we going
to talk about term limits again? Maybe we shouldn't talk
about term leines, but Gina, I mean, go ahead, what
would you like to say about Mitch mccon.

Speaker 4 (01:02:02):
I definitely don't want to talk about term limits because
I think, yes, you know, a bad idea. But I
also think age discrimination is a bad idea. Certainly, discriminating
based on ability or disability is a bad idea. But
that's not what we're talking about. We are talking about competency.
And do I think there should be competency tests for
our leaders? I do, I absolutely do. I have no
problem with that at all. I never want to discriminate.

(01:02:24):
I know ninety nine year olds who are sharper than
I'll ever be right, and with age comes wisdom so
many times, and I don't want to throw that baby
out with the Mitch McConnell bathwater. Ooh. But at the
same time, competency is a fair thing of us, sorry, Terrence,

(01:02:45):
A fair thing of us to ask of our officials
that work for us. We can ask for competency exams,
and I have no problem there in Terrence, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
I wouldn't be mad at that at all, doctor Gina,
I think that's an absolutely reasonable idea. Unfortunately, so many
of these leaders just want to hold on to power,
and they don't. They're not willing to do what is
best for their constituents. And quite honestly, it's not just
Mitch McConnell, the Nancy Pelosi's of the world, the Chuck

(01:03:16):
Grassey's of the world. Yeah, they still seem to be
coherent generally, but one asks the question, are you really
doing what's best for your your constituents? And are you
able to really fully serve your constituents as they expect
you to do. I have absolute questions about that with
those three I named, and I'm sure if I really

(01:03:36):
thought about it long enough, I could come up with
a handful of others. And so it comes down to
are you doing what's best for your constituents? And I
have some questions about whether that's in fact the case.

Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
David, Yeah, and I look.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
I think work obviously is a great thing, and you
should you should never be idle, obviously.

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
But having said that, you're eighty two. I mean the traders.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Leaving the station on the populist situation as it relates
to the Republican Party, I mean, isn't it seriously, just
isn't it time to leave and go spend some time
with your family? And I don't mean like just like
doing nothing and being just like sitting there comatos. I mean,
you know, have an active life, do some other pursuits
and passions. I mean, stay active. I'm not saying to
just sit around do nothing. But why why being the

(01:04:17):
well of the chamber.

Speaker 4 (01:04:18):
Of a stellia all the time? I can tell you
is a very addictive lifestyle. You know, my family and
I spent fourteen years in the Missouri state capital, as
you know, while my husband was a state rep and Senator.
And when term limits happened, which we voted for and
supported at the time, I can tell you it was
it was so disillusioning to us. We felt like we

(01:04:40):
were falling off of a cliff because it's all we'd
ever known as a family was being in public service.

Speaker 17 (01:04:45):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:04:45):
Thank god that it happened, because I feel like our
lives started that day. But it's very hard for these
guys to understand that there is a life outside where
they spent decades of their lives. You know, I don't
really care what Mitch McConnell does. He is not competent anymore.
It is obvious with his blank out moments and all
the things. But you know what I still say, if

(01:05:06):
he can pass a competency test, I will shut up
and I will never say another word about him publicly
not being able to serve. But he needs to pass
a competency test. That needs to be a new thing,
a new day in politics is that our politicians are
declared competent.

Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
And if I can just encourage our lawmakers, you can
still be fully engaged in public service without serving an
elected office.

Speaker 4 (01:05:27):
That is.

Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
So many things you can do within your own community
in terms of public service. All right, I'm done, I'm
off of my own.

Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
And also and also you can do lots of great
things in the private sector, Like I don't know why
that never becomes a consideration unless they get some big,
you know, honey job. And I think that's a bad
thing too in politics.

Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
And you mentioned addiction. Miss McConnell is addicted to power.
Let's remember that. And he's also addicted to maybe being
a thorn and Trump's side as one of the key votes.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Against some of this stuff, we'll see, So that's you
know where he's sticking around for that, All right?

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Coming up, fun American centrized the FBI roots out the
agents who.

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Worked on all those j six cases.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
What is going to happen next with that, we'll explore
first though, the Trump administration slaps its first new sanctions
on Iran. We assess the impact of President Trump's maximum
campaign or maximum pressure campaign on Tehran.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
That's next. As we roll on.

Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
Here on a Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Way, Welcome back everyone, Getting you ready for the opening
dollar the New York Stock Exchange. It's going to ring
here in about seven minutes. We're going to see how
this newly released jobs report ultimately impacts the markets. I
can tell you that US employers added about one hundred
and forty three thousand jobs last month. Again, this is
the first jobs report coming out under this second Trump

(01:06:57):
pregiden presidency. Excuse me, one hundred and seventy thousand jobs
were expected to be added, so it's a little bit lower.
The jobless rate has now slipped to four percent. As
you can see here on the board, early trading looking
pretty good. All of the indices are in the green.
The Dow s and P five hundred and the NASDAC
are all up. We'll see how this report impacts trading
once the market's officially.

Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
Opened for the day.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Now, let's get you over to David really quickly.

Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
Okay, Terrance, appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Now we're going to go over to the intelligence community,
or at least talk about it, where the CIA has
offered buyouts there to the entire workforce.

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
You want to buy out, here's a buyout.

Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
The Wall Street Journal reports that CIA Director John Radcliffe
is extending the buyout offer employees at the agency in
hopes of getting a more aggressive and focused agency that's
aligned with President Trump and his priorities. This comes, of course,
after Trump offered a buyout to thousands of federal workers.

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
By the way, that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
Offer originally was not initially given to workers in the
national security realm, but clearly that's now changing before our eyes.
Let's bring in a former CIA covert operations officer and
the host the President's Daily Brief podcast, Mike Baker.

Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Mike, great to have you here on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
You wonder how many officers would take this buyout? And also,
do you think this buyout situation will hurt the agency
in any way?

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
How do you maneuver through this?

Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
Mike, good morning.

Speaker 23 (01:08:20):
Yeah, they're great questions. Look, typically a buyout, you know,
it tends to target people who are already on the
way out right, they've they've been considering leaving. Maybe they
got another opportunity, maybe they don't. Maybe they think it's
time to hang up your spurs and retire. So that
that's one step, right, and so that really has minimal
impact on an organization, including the CIA. If if you

(01:08:45):
want to create a more effective operation, one other step
you can take is to say, okay, we're going to
we're going to let go of the bottom ten percent performers. Right,
that's another way of doing this, and you can do
that the agency, like other organizations, you know, they go
through personnel reviews. Every employee has a file. Right, people

(01:09:07):
sit around, Senior officers sit around and grade these people
on regular basis in terms of their performance and abilities
and potential for rising up into leadership or performing at
a higher responsibility level. So, you know, I would argue
that's another way that you kind of call the herd here.
But the buyout program, in a sense, I don't think
is going to have that much impact because I don't

(01:09:28):
believe a large percentage will accept it. People at the agency.
At the CIA, I can speak from a couple decades
of experience. They're there because they're highly motivated individuals, right,
And I know that people talk about the political the
politics of it all right, and an overly political organization,
whether it's there or the FBI or others, and you

(01:09:49):
definitely don't want that. But that's not the rank and file.
Those aren't the people who are in the streets and
the operational level doing the hard work of intelligence gathering.
So I suspect that it'll be interesting to see what
percentage does accept this after all, but I don't think
it will have a real serious impact.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
So how do you go about destroying the tentacles of
the deep state CIA, FBI wise in terms of the
upper echelon, the upper levels of management that type of stuff.

Speaker 23 (01:10:17):
Yeah, that's a that's a pay grade that you know,
it's above my level certainly when I was at the
organization that and that has to come from, you know,
from you know, management above and beyond where where those
people sit. Uh.

Speaker 15 (01:10:30):
And and it is a problem.

Speaker 23 (01:10:31):
You can never have an intel organization or you know,
a federal law enforcement organization that is political, right, I mean,
that's the the the key to efficiency, to effectiveness is
to serve whoever's in the administration. And so you're right,
this has to be targeted. I guess my point being
is that I don't think the buyout is really going

(01:10:52):
to affect that.

Speaker 24 (01:10:52):
Now.

Speaker 23 (01:10:52):
Now, maybe it gets some people who politically or are
not aligned with the Trump administration. That may happen, but
I don't know that it will impact I think they
have to be careful. If they decide, okay, we're just
going to let a certain percentage go, well, then it
does become a potential problem because then you have to think, look,
we've got critical operations here addressing national security concerns. We

(01:11:13):
have to be very careful about not losing skill sets
and abilities that are critical to that national security.

Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Mike got less than a minute left. I want to
get to this.

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
President Trump signed this executive order imposing sanctions on the
International Criminal Court. The order imposes financial sanctions and other
visa restrictions on ICC officials and their families.

Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
Those officials reportedly.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Worked on investigations into u as citizens and their allies.
And of course this comes, Mike after the ic C
issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Regiment net Yahoo.
So how do you see this executive order and the
impact I'll have. I've got thirty seconds. Sadly, I just
have thirty.

Speaker 15 (01:11:50):
Yeah, I couldn't.

Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
It couldn't come quicker.

Speaker 13 (01:11:53):
Right.

Speaker 23 (01:11:53):
The ICC is about as useful as side pockets on
the cow, and they're incredibly biased. You know, we talk
about out sort of. You know, Marco Rubio is boycotting
the G twenty summit in South Africa because he talks
about they just have an anti American agenda. We'll talk
about anti American agenda. That's the ICC. And obviously, look
they've sanctioned Israel more than they've ever sanctioned collectively all

(01:12:18):
the other regimes out there, including the Iranian regime right
in terms of human rights concerns and violations. That tells
you all you need to know about the ICC. So yeah,
I was happy to see the executive order that organization
should go away.

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
The only people that.

Speaker 13 (01:12:31):
Will be sad, that will be the bureaucrats.

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Got to run.

Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
You win the line of the day. Side pockets on

Speaker 3 (01:13:03):
Welcome back everyone, Getting ready for the opening bell at
the New York Stock Exchange. You hear the applause in
the background, and now you hear the belle in the background.
That means the markets are now officially open. And just
like that, looking pretty good for the S and P
five hundred and the NASDAC. Both of those indices are
in the green right now, as is the Dow. It
is up slightly that very well may change throughout the day.

(01:13:26):
The good news is gold, silver, crude oil also up
at this very moment. So we'll of course continue to
monitor all of this for you throughout the day, particularly
in light of the new Labor Department numbers on hiring
that just came out this morning. In the meantime, increase
tariffs on our trade partners, tax cuts, and regulation changes.

(01:14:49):
to see. We're going to take a quick break when
we come back to you on American Sunrise. Wikipedia is
coming under fire for how it treats conservative news outlets.
We've got the detail first, though, Senator Chris Murphy joining
the course of Democratic whiners with more outlandish claims about
President Trump his latest comments. Next on American Sunrise.

Speaker 4 (01:15:28):
Oh yeah, we have a major term limits and age
limits debate happening in our chat. You got to get
in there on Getter or Rumble, whichever you prefer. Welcome
back to American Sunrise. I'm doctor g. Thanks for joining
us this morning. We invite you to join in our conversation.
As I said on Getter and Rumble Rumble, that it
is now time to take the political pulse of America

(01:15:50):
and the beat today. The FBI has reportedly turned over
the information of five thousand employees who worked on January
sixth cases to the DOJ. Acting Deputy Attorney General Imobov
sent an email last week with the subject line terminations
and as for those agents' information. There was then a

(01:16:10):
survey sent out regarding what the specific rules would be.
This comes after eight senior FBI officials were actually fired. Guys,
this is exactly why Donald Trump was elected to drain
the swamp, to send the bad guys up packing. I
only wish some of them could be punished rather than
just terminated from their jobs in the Deep State. But

(01:16:32):
for more, let's bring in the co host of Rav's
Cowboy Logic because she is open so Logicalna, welcome to
the show, Donna. Well, you know, go ahead.

Speaker 25 (01:16:43):
President Trump has always said, it's logical, this is common sense,
it's cowboy logic. And the hunters are becoming the hunted
now love it. And the thing is, you know, buyouts,
poor babies. I remember the federal government growing by forty
percent during COVID. Remember that while we were all shut down,
all of our businesses couldn't be open. We couldn't go

(01:17:07):
visit Grandma in the hospital, we couldn't go to work
out anywhere, we couldn't go to church.

Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
But you know, it's about.

Speaker 25 (01:17:13):
Time that they get a taste of what they've been
putting us through, especially obviously as we've been so close
with our Jan sixers. You guys, I mean, these people
have been had evidence suppressed. They've had in the case
of Jeremy Brown, who is still imprisoned for misdemeanors even
though he got a full pardon because they planted evidence

(01:17:34):
on him, excessive sentences like Donald Trump even said to
a reporter last week. They kept saying, shouldn't these people
who were so violent on jan six still be in jail?
And He's like, it's been four years. Murderers only get
two years in some cases in DC. And the bigger
picture is how much actual crime has skyrocketed in the

(01:17:56):
big cities because they pulled all of these prosecutors off
the crimes and put them after basically protesters on January sixth.
That's really the biggest problem. So I don't know if
you guys noticed Cara Castronova from the Gateway Pundit was
actually walking with a few of the prosecutors yesterday and
had a microphone in one of the guy's faces saying, hey,

(01:18:18):
you know, Capitol police officer Lylah Marris legitary.

Speaker 26 (01:18:22):
Did beat there's Anne Boylen to death and isn't that
police brutality? And someone else walked past her and actually
in another direction and whapped into her, knocked her around.
I mean, it's getting a little testy, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
Go ahead, Terrence, all right, So let's talk about the
thousands of agents who are on these cases. What is
your actual message to them, Like if you were to
be able to talk to them directly. And I asked
you this question because we've talked for months now, and
I know you're frustrated. Okay, I thought you might be
grabbing a pistol or something. Okay, let's see what what
would your actual message be then to them? Donna, No,

(01:19:02):
we're just fixing the volume.

Speaker 17 (01:19:04):
Sorry about that, gang.

Speaker 3 (01:19:05):
Oh all right, go ahead, I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:19:10):
Can you repeat the question there, darn Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:19:12):
I was just asking. Given all that that's happened here
and some of the moves that are afoot are from
the Trump administration, I know that you've been frustrated for
years now about how things have been handled in the
DOJ as it relates to Jay Sixers. So if given
the opportunity to speak directly to some of the people
involved here, what would your message to them be?

Speaker 26 (01:19:32):
Well, the real big problem, quite honestly, is the double standard.

Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
And I think Donald Trump is on the right path.

Speaker 26 (01:19:38):
He has pretty much pardoned most everybody involved. But again,
look at the red person, the red sweatshirt person right there,
that's Matthew Perna. He committed suicide. He can't come back,
his family is ruined. And that has happened at least
ten times with both Jan sixers and actually police involved

(01:19:59):
seven them have also committed suicide.

Speaker 3 (01:20:01):
So this is the real problem.

Speaker 26 (01:20:04):
Also, we should note that a couple of Jan sixers
that are still in prison should be out despite pardons.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
And that's Jeremy Brown.

Speaker 26 (01:20:12):
He's a Master sergeant twenty years in the military, Green Beret.
No violent charges that he was framed.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
No, absolutely, David and doctor Gene, I want you to
listen to this SoundBite from Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy basically
claiming that President Trump and his action since taking office
are threat to democracy. I already have an idea of
what you're going to say, but let's listen and then
we'll talk on the other side.

Speaker 27 (01:20:36):
So I just think there's a tipping point at which
you can't get your democracy back. And I see all
of these very purposeful lines of effort that the Trump
administration and Eon Musk are taking, and I think we
just have to be right now at this moment, on
red alert mode. And what I see right is the

(01:20:59):
normalization violence. I don't think you can underscore, you can
underestimate how impactful it is when you're thinking about going
out to a protest and you might get beat up
by somebody who has immunity for violence in Trump's name.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
Doctor Gina, We're going to get back to Donnie here
in just a little bit, but I'd love to get
your perspective.

Speaker 4 (01:21:18):
You know. I mean, they thought this was the coup
of a lifetime, Nancy Pelosi in the Democrats thought they
got away with literally dismantling our free speech, our system
of justice, Republican Party, all the rest of it in
one fell swoop. So you can't expect them not to

(01:21:38):
fight for this terrence. They're going to continue their lives.
That worked for four years, and they did work. They
got away with it. I mean, they stole an entire
election with their lives, So you can't expect them to
give up easy, right, But they have been soundly defeated
by this audience and the other patriots in this country

(01:22:00):
who paid attention, not to talking heads like that one,
who continue to lie and deceive and at every single
turn just try to accuse the other side of doing
what they were already doing.

Speaker 17 (01:22:14):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:22:15):
But we have had a victory, we have had a
mandated victory, and we have to continue to protect it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
David Gina, I'm glad you said that, because that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
Our audience is the one are the ones that put
Donald Trump back in the oval office.

Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
There's no doubt about that. And Chris Murphy and Chris Murphy.

Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Can go ahead and have that SoundBite with his buddy
Chris Hayes on MSNBC that no one watches, even the
squirrels don't watch MSNBC, and they can just yeah, they
can just do their thing. Not that squirrels watch television.
I don't even know if they do, but anyhow, so
let him do his thing. But here's the thing. I
have the facts right here. Seventy seven million, two hundred
and eighty four thousand, one hundred and eighteen votes for

(01:22:56):
Donald Trump. In other words, there's seventy seven thousand, two
excuse me, two hundred and eighty four, one hundred and
eighteen reasons why Chris Murphy is wrong and that Americans
are past it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
You know, Americans are done with that.

Speaker 2 (01:23:09):
They elected him despite that, despite two impeachments, I mean,
just go down the list. Russia, Russia around, despite everything
that they threw at him, he came out victorious because
they know it was a bunch of crap.

Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
You know, that's the truth.

Speaker 4 (01:23:23):
There is a leftist pundit that I would listen to,
and that's the leftist pundit who comes out with his
hat in hand and humbly apologizes for lying to us
for the last decade, but especially for the last year,
for the wrongful imprisonment of patriots who were just out
there peacefully and prayerfully protesting that day. The pundit who

(01:23:48):
can come clean with the fact that he was an
accessory to the deaths of people like Roseanne Boylan and
others who died that day and the subsequent suicides that
Donna mentioned. Somebody who takes responsibility, who wakes up because
they can't sleep at night, so they wake up and
they tell the truth for the first time in their

(01:24:09):
lives on national television. That pundit I would listen to.
But they probably lose their job.

Speaker 3 (01:24:15):
Yeah. Yeah, It's definitely an emotionally charged issue. And one
of the things the whole idea, the talking point from
the left that oh, this is an attack on democracy.
We all know it's a talking point. It's simply a
political thing. But I also think that when you raise
those sorts of issues, it cheapens the idea of democracy.

(01:24:36):
When you just throw that out there blanketly. It cheapens
the idea of democracy, and so anytime I hear that,
I almost turn off immediately because I know it's simply
a talking point. They really don't know what they're talking about.
Just my two cents.

Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Well, they're grasping at straws. They've got nothing.

Speaker 5 (01:24:50):
What do they have?

Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
They have a party that's left them, or excuse me,
they've left their own constituents.

Speaker 1 (01:24:56):
Is really what's gone on?

Speaker 5 (01:24:57):
Excuse me?

Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
So where what are they doing?

Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
I mean, you get Chris Murphy soundbites because that's what's happened.
They have nothing to run on and excuse me, my goodness,
I don't know what's going on here, but I'm all.

Speaker 1 (01:25:10):
Right, thank you, I'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (01:25:12):
But ultimately I.

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
Did, I did, Yeah, No, But I mean think about
it for a second. When they don't have anywhere to go,
what do they do? They go on MSNBC. I mean,
I guess My point simply is is that they've got
to figure out the future, and they can't because Trump
has changed the paradigm. Trump is, I mean, this is
not a Republican beating a Democrat. This is a Trump

(01:25:38):
publican beating a Democrat.

Speaker 3 (01:25:40):
This is a.

Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
Populous new Republican party that's beat a Democrat. They don't
know how to handle the new way, the new politics,
and the new paradigm that shifted right in front of them.

Speaker 4 (01:25:51):
Because America woke up the only way. The Democrats would
never listen to me, but advising them because you know,
I believe in a strong Democrat party. I want a
strong Democrat party because I love competition. I think it
makes us all sharp a sharper, because iron sharpens iron.
As you know, I would love for the Democrat, one
Democrat to come out and say what we did was

(01:26:12):
so wrong, and I want to reform the Democrat Party.
I would love to see them admit their lives. You know, Fetterman,
he dabbles with it, but let's see him come really
clean on this stuff. I think it would make a
huge difference. And it is that engagement, that activism that'll
save us from big mistakes like term limits, age limits,
other things bring us back into what actually works. Competency tests, transparency, right, authenticity,

(01:26:38):
those kinds of things. All right, you guys, coming up,
we are going to highlight one company that's doing all
it can to help our troops adjust back to civilian life.
Were American sun rise in just two minutes.

Speaker 10 (01:26:59):
Let's spills some Tea.

Speaker 3 (01:27:06):
Let's bill some Ta is sponsored by Artilleryta Company artillerytco
dot com. That's the website. Use the promo code RAV
for ten percent off. Artillery t is all natural, it's
whole leaf. The tea bags are chemical free in each
can be used not just once, but twice. Artillery Tea
Company is family and veteran owned and operated, and a
portion of your purchase goes to help veteran and first

(01:27:28):
responded charities. Again. The website is artillerytco dot com. Use
the promo code RAV that's urav and score yourself ten
percent off. Let's get right into the Let's get right
into what's in the cup today. It's a company that
artilleryt Company has greatly helped. That company is called Working

(01:27:48):
Dogs for Vets. The aim is to help get veterans
dogs for service and training so they can return to
civilian life. Brenda Moody is the co founder of the
organization and joins US now to explain what they're doing
and how you can help out. Brenda, good to see you.

Speaker 24 (01:28:04):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
Absolutely looking forward to this conversation. Why don't we start
here give us a story that really puts into perspective
for our viewers how your company and how your effort
is able to help some of these veterans out there.

Speaker 24 (01:28:19):
Absolutely, I'm just going to jump right in. One of
our veterans, James. He's struggled with severe PTSD post traumatic
stress disorder and anxiety after his military service, and he
came to us with his dog Diamond, and they are
participating in the No Veteran Left Behind program. We started
No Veteran Left Behind program to help veterans to train

(01:28:40):
their own service dogs with our support. We have a
prison dog program where incarcinated the veterans. They can train
the service dog for about a year and then they
come to our in house program and get matched with
more severely disabled veterans. But James, we witnessed, Oh gosh.

Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
It's just really remarkable.

Speaker 24 (01:28:56):
His dog Diamond, she's helping in was purity and compassionship
and it helps him to navigate Danny challenges. James went
from barely leaving his house to actively participating in community events.
And he just shared with me recent lady that he
was able to go to the movies with his family
for the first time after having gone in with him.

(01:29:21):
It's a really profound impact what these dogs do for
our veterans. They learn to tasks like turning on lights
to wake them up from nightmares and different things like that.
But there's more stories like that on our website, Workingdogs
for bet dot org. You can follow us on social
media or you can call us skateboard Dogs Help.

Speaker 3 (01:29:39):
It sounds to me like the impact these dogs have
on the lives of these veterans and even some of
the people who are incarcerated is priceless. But the reality
is there is a price. There is a cost that
is attached to getting these dogs into the hands of
those who need the most. Put into perspective for us,
how much something like this costs and how much partnering
with a company like the Tea company actually helps you,

(01:30:02):
guys in realizing this goal.

Speaker 24 (01:30:05):
We actually stretch every dollar here, and we can get
it done a lot less than a lot of other
organizations do by way of volunteers. And so the supplies
for PTSD Service Dog around two thousand, five hundred dollars.
If we're training the dog in house from start to finish.
The cost goes up from there because they'd have to

(01:30:26):
learn additional tasks like making best mobility support, helping them
in out of chairs up and downstairs, so the price
could increase from there. But just the general's apprize right
around two thousand, five hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:30:39):
And how much has the Artillery Tea Company specifically helped you, guys,
even if you don't want to put specific numbers out there,
give us an idea. And I asked that question because
it gives our views an idea of what they're spending
their money on and how those funds are ultimately being
used to help others.

Speaker 24 (01:30:55):
Absolutely, partnerships like the one we have with Artillery Tea Company,
it's absolutely vital to our mission. The financial support helps
to cover the costs of training and caring for the
service dogs and the veterans, and they've also done product
donations like the tea. It enhances the well being of
our veterans, and these partnerships help to raise awareness. Also,

(01:31:18):
there's twenty two veterans commit suicide daily and it's quant
of these tragedy. Twenty two is unacceptable to us. We're
staying lives at both ends of the Leache most of
our dogs are from shelters and back to the utility
tea company. We can't do what we do without community support,

(01:31:40):
and the veterans and the dogs will need or support,
so anything anyone can help out with is so greatly appreciated.

Speaker 3 (01:31:47):
It's all right before I let you go. For people
who don't necessarily want to buy the tea but still
want to support you, how can they directly get in
contact with you to offer a donation or offer support
in whatever.

Speaker 15 (01:32:00):
Social media?

Speaker 24 (01:32:01):
They can reach out to us Working Dogs for bets,
our Working Dogs for Vets dot org or thank you,
email us support Working Dogs for Vets dot org or
give us a call eight four Dogs Help. We're helping
veterans across the United States and do the best we
can with it, but we need help to help absolutely.

Speaker 3 (01:32:20):
Grenda, we appreciate you taking some time out continue success.

Speaker 4 (01:32:25):
Thank you so much, you guys, I'm a blessing.

Speaker 3 (01:32:27):
Of course you as well. Take care still to come
here on American Sunrise. How will you be spending Super
Bowl Sunday?

Speaker 17 (01:32:34):
What's on your menu?

Speaker 3 (01:32:35):
We're gonna tell you our plans, hopefully you really want
to hear them. That's next here on American Sunrise.

Speaker 4 (01:32:54):
Oh, this is Harlowe. She's my little girl. We adopted
her from friends here in Palm Beach. She is a
wonderful little city who has her tongue out all the
time if you really look close, and the longest eyelashes.
They just don't make eyelashes that long. Welcome back to
American Sunrise. I'm doctor China. Thanks so much for joining us.
Today is time now for the sunny side up in

(01:33:15):
the pan. Today we are now just two days away
from the Super Bowl, and the age old question is back.
What is on the menu at your home for the
big game? Some of the common meals are pizza, wings
and nachos, several other appetisers. My favorite, you guys, I
love a seven layer dip. But this Super Bowl, you guys,

(01:33:36):
you know I'm going to be eating that Kansas City
masterpiece barbecue. Go chiefs, David Terrence, what's on your menu there? David?
I know what team. You don't have to mention that
again because I know you guys are both against my
nice Midwestern values and my nice Midwestern barbecue. But David,
what are you going to be serving at your house?

Speaker 1 (01:33:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:33:59):
Well, there's a lot we're going to be serving all
your traditional stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:34:02):
We're going actually.

Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Over to my daughter in law's house and they make
this amazing Actually it's my daughter in law's mother who
makes this wonderful cheese.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
I can't really explain it. It's kind of like a
cheese dip, if.

Speaker 2 (01:34:16):
You will, but it's just, oh, it's got meat in there,
it's got some moss.

Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
I mean, there's a lot going on. It's very complex.
Unlike Joe Biden, Terrence, what about you.

Speaker 3 (01:34:27):
So, as I've told you guys throughout the show, my
wife is from Philly, and she told us that we're
having Philly cheese steaks and we are rooting for the
Eagles because she's from Philly, and otherwise I couldn't come home.
And I think I'm gonna make some chili tonight, so
we'll probably have leftover chili. You know, they say with chili,
if it sits for a couple of days, it's even better.
It is, so by Sunday it should be to die
for it and it will have cheese steaks and some chili.

Speaker 4 (01:34:48):
And if you freeze it overnight, it's for some reason
so much better then if it's never been frozen I
can't explain that, but that is really true. But it's
not true with chicken and dumplings. Just in case you
were wondering that. I think all of that food sounds
just amazing. And you know, because my son will be
rooting for Philly because he just cannot stand Taylor Swift
to such a degree, and neither can I. By the way,
I'm rooting for the home team. That's it. I'm not

(01:35:09):
an NFL person, but so I think we might get
some Philly cheese steaks too. That's all I was gonna say.
And David, you have one assignment this weekend? You have
one job? Are you ready? I'm ready get that recipe
of that dip. I want it. I am a oh,
I'll get it. Person. I loved it.

Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
Oh, I will get that. I'm going to say, doctor
G wants that dip. I do, and I will get it.

Speaker 1 (01:35:30):
I will get it.

Speaker 2 (01:35:30):
I like seven layer dip too, by the way, I
don't you love seven layer dip. I would like it
to be fourteen layers, but I'll take seven.

Speaker 4 (01:35:38):
I make it about fourteen. I put it in that
big deep truffle dish, you know, the glass ones you
can see all the layers and everybody does love it. It
lasts the whole time, and and you know, but just
trying to get the chips made without seed oil, now
that I know how bad seed oil is, is always
the challenge you have to make your own, which is
actually pretty easy. So maybe we'll talk about that in

(01:35:58):
the chat on Monday. But you guys, as always, we
had a great show. The great thing about Super Bowl
is it spending the day with your family. I mean,
that's what really, really really matters. Thanks to you guys
for joining us. Thanks for lefting Donald Trump too. We
have so much for you. Every morning it all starts
at eight am. We will see you then. Waroom, of course,
is coming up next. How your children love your God?

(01:36:19):
