Speaker 1 (00:20):
Okay, leaving America.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Welcome to the Thursday edition of the Justin News No
Noise Show. You know what, maybe we should call this
the fireworks Show. Eli must Donald Trump atwy roughed it.
We're going to get that in a second. You know
who I am, John Solomon, your host reporting to is
always from the Nation's Capital and the Wiredfishcoffee dot Com studios.
If you go to Wired the number two Fishcoffee dot
com right now, you can get ten percent off all
the great punds. It's my favorite coffee. It's a Fisher
(00:43):
coffee of just News. How do you get that ten percent?
She sees to promo code just News when you check out.
All right, we're gonna have a little bit of theatrics,
but first a little bit of accountability. Just a few
minutes ago, House Overside Committee under James Comer has subpoena
doctor Kevin O'Connor. Who's that. That's the doctor who treated
Joe Biden. They want to know was he suffering from dementia?
(01:04):
Did he have cancer before we all knew it? Some
big questions. The doctor hasn't been responding to the committee,
so they dropped a subpoena on and we're going to
keep a close eye on that over at justinews dot com.
Go check that out more accountability as well. Last night
we teased it, Today we delivered it. We have tracked
more than seven million dollars of federal funding from nih YEP,
the same agency that gave us doctor Fauci two the
(01:28):
Chinese scientists who were working in that lab in Michigan
where two of them tried to sneak in that pathogen
that could wipe out American crops all across the country.
Very dangerous research, very dangerous pathogen a fungus. More than
seven million dollars there. It raises the question, why do
we keep funding Chinese scientists who are doing the most
dangerous forms of viral and pathogen researches when we know
(01:51):
China doesn't have our best interest and one of those pathogens,
the COVID nineteen virus, likely escape from Wuhan back in
twenty nineteen.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
That's a big one and one more quick one on accountability.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Last night, the Justice Department moved to end federal funding
for elections in Wisconsin. Why because Wisconsin has not been
complying with the Help Americans Vote Act, which required that
every state have a place where voters can immediately complain
about integrity issues and get them resolved. Wisconsin didn't have
any such thing. Last night, Assistant Attorney General har Meet
(02:24):
Dylan told Wisconsin, it's going to come at the cost
of your future election funds. That's the accountability news. Now,
let me ask you this question. What happens when you
get two big billionaires and they decide they're going to
slug it out, Well, you get an HBO front row
boxing rings, say you decide see ticket.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Or something worthy of a Hollywood movie. That's right.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Today, Elon Musk and Donald Trump going back and forth
with insults, It's kind of funny. Started with President Trump saying,
all we could balance a budget, we'll just send Elon
Musk's government subsidies. Elon Must didn't take too nicely to that.
He said, I think we should impeach the president when
someone said, let's impeached Donald Trump. There were a lot
of other things that went back and forth tonight, though,
(03:03):
in fairness to President Trump, he's tried to de escalate, saying,
I don't mind if if Elon Must criticizes me, but
if he was upset about the Billy should have said
so just a little bit earlier in the process, that
we could have fixed the bill rather than waiting after
it passed the House. That seems like a reasonable point.
All right, let me bring in my amazing coast Amana.
It was at the White House today.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Oh my yeah, fireworks, fireworks. It's not even the fourth
of July.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Listen, this is one way to get the Epstein list out,
I suppose, because now Democrats are saying, show me the.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Good I forgot that that Donald Trump might be in
the Epstein do.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah, you know, I think there was a lot of
speculation that this was staged or planned or something until
that tweet from Elon orcies me. The ex post from
Elon about the Epstein list, that to me took it
to a very dirty level. And yeah, and I agree
with you. I think that if he had come out
and brought up these concerns sooner, which apparently he did,
but also President Trump told him that there was a
(03:55):
possibility that he was going to take this out of
it anyway. Yeah, So you know, I don't know where.
I don't know where the surprise happened. But maybe Elan
just was not paying attention, which seems very hard for
someone who's so successful and so wealthy and so smart.
But anyway, we're we're talking a lot more about this
as we go through tonight's show, trust me. So we
want to get quickly to one more headline before we
get to our very first guest. President Trump had a
(04:17):
call earlier today with Chinese President Xi Jinping, a call
that he described as quote, a very positive conclusion for
both countries. Why While President Trump said that the to
discuss the intricacies of the recently agreed to trade deal
between the two nations, and also revealed that teams from
both China and the United States would be meeting soon
to discuss a more permanent solution, including dealing with rare
(04:40):
earth minerals. She even extended an invite for President Trump
to visit China, which he said he reciprocated, and he
also disclosed that the two did not discuss Russia, Ukraine
or Iran. John, I think we got to get to
our first guest tonight because I know he's going to
have a lot to talk about, especially the Wisconsin election
commissions start.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Oh yeah, and of course the incredible subpoena that just
went out joining us now for the Great State of Wisconsin.
One of our favorite members of Congress. He always gives
it to us straight and on it's not Congressman Glenn Grothman, Sarah,
good to have you on the show.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Well, there's been a few times as exciting to be
a member of Congress as in the last couple of weeks,
and are going to be exciting the next month as
we worked towards passing the big beautiful bill and all
the controversy surrounding it.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Absolutely, it's been the most interesting show in a long
time to hit Pennsylvania Avenue. I'm going to start with
something a little bit on the accountabilit us side. We've
all wondered for a while who knew what went about
Joe Biden and his mental decline and his cancer and
other things. Today, James Comer escalating the effort to get
American people of truth by subpoena doctor Kevin O'Connor. Your
(05:47):
thoughts on that and what we might ultimately get out
of this inquiry.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
We want to find out exactly how bad President Trump was,
you know, since he left how bad President Biden was
he left office. Of course, there have been all sorts
of tell all books that I'm coming out as different
members of the Biden administration compete to get the sales
of people who want to find out what was really
(06:12):
going on there. And it's become more and more apparent
that his aides felt that President Biden had to be monitored,
that he wasn't up to the job. We've heard, you know,
things that his doctor has said, and we want to
know a little bit more with this, And I don't know,
we're an uncharted territory. You know, we had a one
President Woodrow Wilson in his final term of office. The
(06:34):
story was kind of his wife was running the show.
I don't think we've had well. America was some much
a simpler country at that time, and maybe Woodrow Wilson
didn't have to be a hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
We are now.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
In a very much more complicated world. The number of
executive orders, the number of pardons just through the roof.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
And you know, did.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
President Biden understand what he's doing? Parent his staff didn't
have that high opinion of him. Did they grab the
auto pen and use it for things that maybe his.
Speaker 6 (07:08):
Staff thought were good?
Speaker 5 (07:10):
You know, he's always been kind of an odd president.
You know, you think back to even when he got
in there. He's not somebody who won the primaries naturally, right.
Governor Bloomberg stepped up and, you know, basically said that
we're going to clear the decks.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
We want President Biden to be the nominee. So that
was odd, not picked by the voter, picked by you know,
kind of a one world government billionaire.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
And I think they picked him personally because he was
easily manipulated and perhaps easily blackmail. So it's especially significant
given how we got there. Did he know what was
going on the final year a year and a half,
particularly because the powers would be in the Demo Party
(08:00):
detictive because they felt if he was easily manipulated back
in twenty sixteen or twenty sorry, two thousand.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
So we'll have to see what happens. I'm on that committee.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
I look forward to hearing from a doctor, and then
we've got to decide what are we going to do
If it becomes a parent that President Biden had lapses
in which he perhaps was not competent to do things,
or if perhaps they took advantage of his adult.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
State to have gardens or.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
Executive orders or other things signed that President Biden may
or may not have.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Signed up, un.
Speaker 7 (08:41):
Sir, if it comes to it, like you said, that
it is discovered that Joe Biden did not know anything
about a lot of these executive orders, I mean, that
is completely uncharted territory. What does Congress do at that
point about the executive orders?
Speaker 6 (08:56):
Have to see?
Speaker 1 (08:58):
You know?
Speaker 5 (08:58):
I hate to say, is everything stand? I mean, what
if it can be shown that things were done without
his knowledge and they were using the auto pen and people,
horrible criminals were pardoned, radical executive.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
Orders were signed.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Congress is really going to have to determine what we
can do. What if we know for certain that things
happened and President Biden was working only a few hours
a day that his staff was running the show, where
Joe was running the show, It's a scary thing to say.
We have to look, you know, are all these things valid?
Speaker 6 (09:36):
I don't know, I mean.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
And of course there were so many people involved in
the cover up, right, There.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Had to be dozens, maybe year.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
One hundred, because people in Washington loved to gossip. There
must have been people all over that White House who
knew how little President Biden was capable of doing, and
how few hours a day he was working.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, and they had.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
To no doubt, so one turned on another cover up.
It took us years to learn that the US government
was funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology research gain of
function of the location where we now believe the virus
escaped and led to one of the worst pandemics in
world history. Now we have net fresh evidence that we're
funding more Chinese scientists, these in Michigan, two of which
(10:20):
were picked up this week on charges they were trying
to smuggle improperly a toxic pathogen that could have wiped
out American crops if it ever got.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Out into the wild.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
We seem to not have a good grip of who
we're funding, and it seems odd that America is so
interested in funding Chinese scientists, particularly given the fact that
they've had a history of lablique and other sloppiness in
their very dangerous research. Your thoughts on whether it's time
for Congress to step in and force some change there.
Speaker 6 (10:49):
We're going to have to.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
You know, this is a problem when you have one
of the two major parties in the United States who
really buys into this world government thing and doesn't think
the United States is special and feels like we just
all wing one big world.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
You know.
Speaker 5 (11:08):
It's the same mindset that has caused tens of millions
of people to come in this country illegally, and people
don't object to it. Now we have a country that
is hostile to US. I hope we get better in
the future. I hope President Biden can patch things up
with China, but we have a country that, quite frankly,
is a lot of their actions are very hostile to
(11:30):
the US, and we are putting them in a position
in which they are able to bring things into this
country and also gain access to research which could be
used hoscilly against the United States. And the greater problem
is way too many Americans don't seem interested in protecting
(11:52):
the United States or think this wonderful country we have
is always going to be there, no matter how reckless
we are in our dealing with other countries. It's again,
a very scary situation, and it comes from the mindset
that has taken over so much the Democrat Party that
America is not a special nation, but it's just one
(12:13):
of whatever one hundred and ninety six countries around the world.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Sir, I just want to follow up quickly. If Congress
does intervene do you do it to the appropriations process
and say he just no more funding of Chinese biolabs
that are two, three, four and up. How would you
go about doing that? We'll have to see.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
I think if we reduce the amount of money that's
going into these fundings, we may even be able to
put it in the Big Beautiful Bill. That's obviously up
to the parliamentarian in the Senate, but I don't know
the degree to which in the regular appropriation process. I remember,
in the regular appropriation process you need sixty votes in
the Senate, which means you need the Democrats to sign off.
(12:55):
I would hope the Democrats are not so anti American
that they would stand in the world this sort of thing,
but they've been pretty anti American before. Absolutely, we try
to put in the appropriation bills, but if possible, we
shouldn't take that chance and see if together with a
reduction of the amount of money for research, we can
put it in the Reconciliation Bill, which is also known
(13:17):
as the Big Beautiful Bill.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
So we spoke to you, were calling Tom Tiffany last
night and he said, go, Ron, go when it comes
to improving the Big Beautiful Bill on the Senate side.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
Do you think that's possible.
Speaker 6 (13:30):
Yes, I wish run all the luck in the world.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
I think too many of the people who negotiated that
bill out of the House of Representatives, really we're not
what you'd call traditional Republicans. This is like our last
chance to really save America fiscally because you're not going
to have the presidency, the House and the Senate.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
That often politicians are braver when.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
It's not during an election bill on an electioneer, so
we're compromises made. Things were better the bill that passed
the House than the original bill were presented with, and
that was good, but there's a lot more that we
should be cutting. And I think we need kind of
(14:13):
stronger leadership to tell these people. When you filled out
your initial papers as being a Republican, it meant you
were suspicious of government and you wanted a government to
play a less about the federal government particular to play
less of a.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
Role in America. And I think.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
Who frequently as these committees went through this process, they
were not as aggressive as they should have. And I was,
quite frankly, I voted for the bill because it's better
than current law.
Speaker 6 (14:42):
There's no doubt about that, but we could have done better.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
And I wish Ron Johnson all the luck in the world.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Scott's some delegations real quickly.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
The blow up between Trump and must today short term
political theater because it had some impact on the big
beautiful Bill.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
I think insofar as it encourages Congress to be a
little bit conservative, that's good. I hope President trug Trump
and Elon Musk get back together. I think some of
the work Eon Monks has done on Doge is a
breath of fresh air here in Washington. And like I said,
we're just toping. You know, President Trump in the past,
best president of my lifetime. But he has a history
(15:24):
of sometimes having a blow up with somebody one day
and things, you know, work their way back a week later.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Hopefully that's what happens here.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah, that sounds like I'm likely I'll come here, as
it has happened many times before. Congressman, always a great honor.
We love the work you do in oversight in Congress,
all that work you did last year protecting the children
