Speaker 1 (00:04):
Paula, Charisa and I from our hearts want to say
how much we love and honor you. For forty years
in ministry, you have touched this nation and this world
in profound ways.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Jesus God's word is your answer.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
I am so excited because we are in a supernatural
miracle working season set up my God himself. They are
called fall feast, and a feast is a moad. A
moad is a divine of point in that God, not man,
God set up and these falfeasts are predominantly about preparation
for His bride, the Church, for you, and full restoration
(01:10):
for His people that ultimately land up at the second
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is coming for
our glorious church, a spotless church, and we are called
to be a royal priesthood according to Revelations chapter one,
verse six, that proclaims restoration to the Kingdom of God.
Now right now the falfeast because there are three feat seasons.
(01:33):
There's the first Passover, then a standalone of Pentecost, and
then we go into what is known as the fal
feast or atonement. You start with Rashashana, which is the
blowing of the trumpets, and that starts on September twenty second,
followed by ten days of all then you go to
God's most Holy Day, which is the day of Atonement
October second, which starts the night before because they go
(01:55):
from sundown to sundown. Five days later you're in the
Feast Ofbernacles, and that is on October sixth through the thirteenth,
the day of Atonement, God's most Holy Day is what
I really want us to pay attention to, because remember
Trumpets is all about repentance. Look, how's your heart, how's
(02:16):
your life? What's your attitude? Is there any unforgiveness?
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Is there? Any sin? Is there? Anger?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Is there? Disobedience? And then God says that time of
repentance leads up to the day of Atonement. Well, look
what God's doing in the earth right now. There is revival.
But I believe that revival is going to sweep America,
sweep the world. I believe that nations are being harvest
for the Lord during this time and that it will
ultimately shake it. Let everything that can be shaken be
(02:45):
shaken to divide between the goat, the wolf, and the
sheep nations.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Now, what do you mean by that?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Because there are nations, there are groups of people that
are being saved, and this is all biblical that God
leads us through. And this salvation comes as a result
of what repentance, repentance. So whenever you see from Genesis
to Revelation, where God starts to move and there's an
outpoint of his spirit, there is repentance.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
There's receiving, which.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
We receive the Lord Jesus Christ, and then there's restoration,
and that restoration after the day of Atonement, will go
into harvest, and that harvests as tabernacles where Jesus come
quickly Maranatha. It's all about the second coming of the Lord,
and he is coming again, and I'm excited about that.
But what about this day of atonement. So repentance leads
(03:37):
to the day of atonement, and this is where we
see revival. This is where we see reformation. This is
where we see God moving. Because the day of atonement
you find it in Leviticus chapter twenty three, and we'll
read some scripture, verse twenty.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Nine through thirty two.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
If we go back in twenty six, as the Lord
spoke to Moses saying the tenth day of the seventh
month shall be the day of Atonement. It will be
a holy comngregation for you, and you shall afflict your
souls and offer an offering made to the Lord by fire,
and you'll do no work on the same day. It's
the day of atonement. Make atonement for you before the
Lord your God. For any person who is not afflicted
(04:16):
or fasting, that's what it's talking about. And this soul
on that same day will be cut off from his people.
And any person who does any work on that same day,
that person I will destroy from among the people.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
You shall do no manner of work. It shall be
a statue forever.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Atonement will throughout your generations and all your dwellings, and
it shall be to you a sabbath, the solemn rest.
And you will afflict your souls fast on the ninth
day of the ninth month, of the evening.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
On the evening, you shall celebrate the Sabbath.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Now go with me to Colossian chapter one, verse nineteen
through twenty two. We do not have to fast as
a requirement. We do not have to do no manner
of work as a requirement. As a New Testament believer,
I do not have to track up to Jerusalem. I
don't have to do with the New Testament. I'm not
(05:08):
under the law, but what I do have to do
is recognize these historical accounts as divine appointments set up
by God to bring us unto the revelation on understanding
what it had. So James tells me clearly in the
Book of James, I don't practice like the Old Testament.
I'm not under the law. I'm free in Christ, but
(05:30):
I do honor God. So atonement is all about the
blood covenant that Jesus Christ made with God for the
benefit of humanity. Let's look at Colossians Chapter one, verse
nineteen through twenty two. For God was pleased to have
all his fullness dwell in him Jesus to reconcile to
(05:51):
himself all things, whether things of the earth, are things in.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Heavenants start on the earth.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
It's start with the It's started in heaven with the
rebellion of Lucifer Satan the devil, by making peace through.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
His blood that was shed on the cross.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Once you were alienated from God, you are enemies in
your mind because of your evil behavior. But now He's
reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present
you holy in his sight, without blemish and free of accusation.
I want you to think.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
About that and dwell on it.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
The day of Atonement is Jesus Christ gave his life,
was crucified in an old rugged cross, buried in a
bard tomb, descended to Hell, conquered death, Helen the grave,
resurrected on the third day to give you and I
life and oneness with God the Father, to give us
(06:51):
the promise of the Holy Spirit, and to give us
salvation through himself.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
It was all about the blood covenant.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
The Book of Hebrews is probably the best book to
describe this blood covenant. The Book of Romans is all good,
but these are two that specifically zone in how we
could not have done this for ourselves. It was done
once and for all, never to be repeated. Is a
one time sacrifice that took away the sin of the world,
(07:19):
the evil control that Satan had through the disobedience of
the first atom the second atom. Jesus came and did
away with that through his divine obedience, fully god fully manned,
that's called God incarnate.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
By the price he paid, he gave us salvation.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Now I'm going to teach you a lot more on
salvation because people think, oh, I get to heaven.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Now you do, But it's a lot more Heaven's going
to come to you.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
As the spring feasts remind us of the past fulfillments,
the Fall feasts are better described as rehearsals of a
future event. They are preparation for series events. They comprise
the Lord's return. The Fall feests are all about preparation
to be cut in advance for his bride and for
(08:09):
the full restoration of his covenant people. So when we
look at these and today I'm specifically focusing on the
Day of Atonement, It's where prayer, righteousness which means right
standing with God, and faith are emphasized through supernatural cleansing, repentance.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
To mark this most holy day to God.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Five days after sundown this year October sixth, you hit
tabernacles that means harvest, fruit outpouring latter rain, the presence
of God. So God has an appointed time for his
promise to come to pass in your life. He instructed
his people in Deuteronomy sixteen sixteen.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Do not stand before me empty.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
But every person during these times of appointment must give.
They must bring their expressions of our worship. They're eternal
to be kept forever Exodus twelve fourteen. So this day
shall be to you a memorial. You'll keep it as
a feast and divine appointment to the Lord throughout your generations.
You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting
(09:11):
what ordinance?
Speaker 4 (09:13):
That's a holy law. So I'm go and say it
over and over.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
The feasts of Israel were built on the foundation of
God's blood covenant with mankind.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
They are physical rituals to help.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Us the people of God, understand and aligned with spiritual
truths that activate reoccurrences.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
What do I mean?
Speaker 3 (09:32):
So when we see what God did back then and
focus we memorialize that there are times where to do that,
it activates the reoccurrence of that happening. So I Passover
was about deliverance. I see how God delivered the children
of Israel, and I believe God for my deliverance. It's
time to meet Him at the mercy seat to honor
(09:52):
and obey for his supreme sacrifice, our salvation. The day
of Atonement, the Blood Covenant. Now the Jewish people think that,
and it is their belief that when they hit the
Day of Atonement and only cover for sin, we know,
according to the New Testament and the receiving of our
(10:12):
Messiah Jesus.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Christ, that he did away with the root of sin.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
He conquered death, he conquered hell, he conquered the grave.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
But they believe that at this.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Day of Atonement, that if they are covered for their sin,
that their name is written. And this happens during trumpets
written in the Book of Life for the year a head.
If not, it's written in the Book of Death. So
they believe they'll either be curse that year or blessed
that year. Now we know our name when we get saved,
is written in the.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Book of Life for eternity. We're not going to Hell.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
I might fall, I might mess up, But I have
a mediator watching over this covenant these promises to me.
His name is Jesus, enforcing them on my behalf, sitting
next to the right hand side of the Father, making intercession,
praying for me standing in the gap. He's also my
(11:08):
mediator that I can come to and say, Father God,
I come to you in the name of Jesus, forgive
me for my sin. I receive the fullness of my
pardon on the basis of the blood Covenant.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Of Jesus Christ.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
See any other name won't work, any other way won't work.
But it's on the basis of the Blood Covenant. This
is what the Day of Atonement's all about. That everything
I am, everything I hope for, and everything I'll become
is on the basis of the Blood Covenant.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
I receive healing. According to Isaiah fifty.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Three, he was wounded for my transgression, Bruce for my iniquity,
the chastise of my pieces upon him, And with this stripes,
I am healed. I receive that healing on the basis
of the Blood Covenant. The prophet Isaiah saw it and
prophesied on it, but it actually happened. And now on
that basis I am healed. Do you see what I'm
(12:01):
saying why the atonement is so important? In Acts chapter
twenty seven, it was the apostle Paul that was shipped wrecked,
and it was on the day of Atonement, which is
why it's fasting that an angel stood by him and declared, look,
your ship is going to wreck. There's going to be
all this disaster, but not one life will be lost.
There were two hundred and seventy six men and they
(12:23):
wouldn't die God has promises for you through the blood
of Jesus Christ. And one of those promises is divine protection,
not only restoration, not only intimacy with God, not only revelation,
not only all these things, but it's divine protection.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Have you ever said I pleaded the blood day of Atonement?
Speaker 3 (12:45):
If you didn't have that blood covenant, that'd be just
crazy words or vain words. But because he was crucified, buried,
and rose again and gave his blood, the devil goes
can't touch that, one, can't kill that one. Paul's got
an assignment to stand before Festus. I might reck as ship,
(13:07):
they might float over to the island on these pieces aboard.
It might be a bad night out under those stars.
But I can't kill him, not until his purpose is fulfilled.
And that's proof because Paul says, I am now ready
to be offered up. He says, I've been fully dispensed
like a drink offering, and I cannot die before my time.
So why the blood is so important? You understand salvation?
(13:30):
One of the reasons we take communion. We remember what
that blood means. One Peter one eighteen and nineteen says,
you were not bought by silver and gold, but by
the precious blood of Jesus Christ. So let me give
you a deeper understanding in these next few minutes of
Yam Kapoor or the day of atonement. Yam means day
(13:51):
Kapoor means to cover, to pardon or condone. Atonement, which
is an English word, means to make amends or to reconcile.
It's where God and the sinner are brought into a
relationship which they are at one. Atonement it means to
make reparation, which is a word we're getting familiar with
for wrongdoing, our injury. However, for reparation to take place,
(14:15):
forgiveness must happen. That's the first thing. So look at
forgiveness as the top soil in which reparation can take
root and flourish. That's so important that we understand that
redemption comes through forgiveness. That's why repentance trumpets is so important.
And when we approach God, we must humble ourself under
(14:40):
the mighty hand of God, and you'll exalt you. Right
And people think, oh, my promotion comes by me humble,
And I get down.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Know what it means.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
I surrender my life. The Bible says that daily I
am to be crucified with Christ. Daily I am to
pick up my cross. It is only the finished work
of Jesus Christ that empowers me for anything, especially the
giveness of sins.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
So he forgives me.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
I forgive others if I don't forgive others, God says,
to the degree that you retain sins on other.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
People is the degree I'll hold your sin.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
So every time that person ticks me off, makes me mad,
gives me a reason to be upset. And it happens
your husband, your wife have an affair on you, that's
going to anger you, It's going.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
To hurt you. It's offensive. People do horrible things.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
They abuse a child, they drive drunk, they do horrible things,
and those horrible things can impact you or affect you.
But God says, I'm not telling you to approve of that.
I'm not telling you.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
To like that. There's a day of justice and judgment.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
What I am telling you to do is not to
retain their sin against them, and your sin be forgiven.
There's not a sin in this world that cannot be
forgiven except blasphemy against the whole spirit, and that leads
to reprobate. There's a place that they just become seared
in their mind. I don't know that line. I hope
(16:07):
none of us will ever know that line. So God says, look,
you've been forgiven, forgive this person. You don't have to
be friends with them. You don't have to be pals
with them. They might spend time in jail for whatever
they did, and they should. But what he's saying is,
don't hold sins against them and think I want to
release them against you. So there's forgiveness from God for us,
(16:31):
we forgive others. And then he says, out of that,
there's redemption. You're brought back, You're brought into the family Leviticus,
chapter seventeen, verse eleven. So so the life of the
body is in its blood. I've given you the blood
on the altar to purify you, making you rite with
the Lord. It is the blood given in exchange for
(16:52):
life that makes purification possible.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
Seeing the Old Testament on.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yamkaport, the Hebrews achieved forgiveness and atonement in the of
animal sacrifice. It was an exchange of life for life.
It covered our sacrifice was made for atonement to be
at one reconciliation between God and man. But the sacrifices
that were offered on that day, the sins of the
people were only covered but for one year, and they
(17:18):
had to go back every year repeat that sacrifice.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
Because that sacrifice.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Of the Old Testament offered no permanent solution to the
problem of sin. They merely provided a temporary covering. And
Leviticus sixteen outlines the biblical details and instructions. The Lord
commanded Aaron the high priests to not come into the
Holy Holies, but one day of the year he entered
wearing this special.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Garment of white linen. It wasn't the normal priestly garments.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
He had to first bathe in the labor of water
located on the outside of the Holy Place.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
And I've done teaching. After teaching on.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
This, he would enter the Holy of Holies and sprinkle
the blood on the innocent animal, a one year old lamb,
sacrifice it and burn incense. Create this cloud that concealed
the tonement covered the mercy seat from the view, and
scripture reveals if it were not covered from the sight
of the high priests, then he'd die. This is serious stuff.
(18:15):
He sacrificed the bull for his own sin. Sprinkled the
blood on the mercy seat. The blood of the bull
was taken outside of that curtain. Remember that would ultimately
be rent from the top to the bottom. When Jesus
was crucified and said it is finished, proving that no
hand of man did this, It was the hand of
God that that blood would be taken, sprinkled on the
horns of the altar of the incense, the tent of meeting,
(18:38):
and the altar of sacrifice.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
And then after all this.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Ritual and work, which was a lot, they would make
a toonement for their own sin with the blood of
the bull. Go back into the tent, cast the lot
over the two goats, see which one would be chosen,
and they'd put the blood on it, and he would
determine which goat was to be slaughter and designated its escapegoat.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
After he did all.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
This, he would send it out into the wilderness as
the scapegoat, confess all the israel sins on it. And
then the person who would lead that had to bathe
and wash and clothed themselves out of the camp before
returning to the people, and the high priests had to
bathe again after handling the scapegoat or retired jet. And
this was all done for the cleansing of all sins, iniquities, transgressions,
(19:27):
so that they could be reconciled, and the scapegoat would
represent the sins of the nation. That that scapegoat went
into the wilderness and it did the right thing, then
the sins of the nation would be covered and the
people would be reconciled.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
For that year, they could not be redeemed to God.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
It would take the perfect lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
So here's what I'm asking you. We don't have to
go through all that ritual and hope that the high
priest doesn't have sin in his life, and hope that
he does this whole thing right, and hope that our
temple's open, and hope all these things that we can
(20:12):
be forgiven, and that forgiveness will only come to reconciliation.
We could reconcile our sin to this purification, but we
aren't redeemed. When Jesus Christ hung on the cross said
it is finished, paid the ultimate price and gave his blood,
(20:33):
you have the ability to be redeemed. And so so
as you will see, doesn't just mean salvation.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
I get to heaven.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
It means healing in your body, deliverance from demonic influence,
to be made whole.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
To be set free.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
It's a wholeness word that basically means nothing missing, nothing broken.
So as Jesus became the lamb of God, the question
I have to ask you is what's the value of
the blood to you?
Speaker 4 (21:01):
To me?
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Everything I know that John, my husband, was sent by
God to me, I wouldn't have a husband a.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Life that I have.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
I wouldn't be restored naturally. I wouldn't have been restored spiritually.
I would never have been saved and recognize that I'm
a spirit being. I wouldn't have had my right mind.
I probably would be dead by now, to be honest
with you, because my natural life had no hope, no victory,
no pathway forward, no advantage in life.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
They always say, how'd PAULA White get from this to that?
It's really simple. How'd she get up to the White House?
How'd she do this?
Speaker 3 (21:44):
How's she gone into over one hundred nations? It's really simple.
The blood of Jesus. I just actually believe every single word,
and I honor God. I don't practice the Old Testament,
but I look at it as a pattern. That pattern,
I find God's promise, redemptions everything, it's everything. Read it
(22:09):
over and over, Romans Hebrews, read the price.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
That was paid.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
Peter, read it all and find out all the promises
that God has for you. And ask yourself, am I
living a full life of what God paid? The price
for everything is about the blood. Every single thing I
was redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. And so
(22:35):
we're not required to follow those ancient sacrifices for our
sins to be atoned according to James chapter two. But
we are required, I believe, to honor God to go, hey, halt.
And there are two calenders, God's calendar, Man's calendar, the
Jewish calendar is God's calendar. And I'm not bound by
(22:59):
you have to do this, you got to do that.
But I recognize these release by false During this intimacy
and this recognition of the price that's been paid for me,
they release a deeper intimacy in my life with God.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
They bring me back to my foundation.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
And so one of the practices that they did in
the Old Testament all the way through to the New
Testament when these feast seasons came, was giving them They
blessed God. Diteronomy chapter sixteen. Do not stand before the
Lord empty handed, but every man, according to his ability,
must give unto God. Now, we don't give to gift you.
(23:37):
Hear me say it all the time. I don't do
this because I think, oh, this, this, and this is
going to happen. But I do have this expectation that God,
who's a good, good father, a good daddy, has good
things for me. Now he knows what should be released
in my life. And I know I am honoring him,
which actually is my greatest joy.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
This is not oh, You've got to go up and
do this. I'm like, I get to do this. This
is great joy for me to be able to.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
Honor God, to worship him and say, what can I
give to you for the blood of Jesus?
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Are you kidding me? I could strip.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Myself of every worldly possession right now, every single thing,
and it's not enough.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
But with a heart of gratitude.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
And a spirit that just says, God, I want to
love on you, and a life that wants to be obedient,
I honor God and I want to give you that opportunity.
Now we know that when you honor God, it's used
to help the ministry.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
That's what happens.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
And when you help this ministry, you're building the Kingdom
of God. You're making a difference. We preach the gospel
to one hundred and ninety five countries potentially six billion people.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
I evangelize around the world.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
We do great humanitarian works, from feeding the hungry, that
clothing the naked, to visit those that are in prison,
to preaching the Gospel our primary purpose around the world.
So thank you for honoring God. He's been good to you.
