Speaker 1 (00:19):
Good evening, Stinchfield Army.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
My name is Benny Harmony, and tonight i'm filling in
for Grant Stinchfield as we continue here on Real America's
Voice to follow this capital shooting which has left two
National Guardsmen in critical condition. Now officials are calling this
a targeted attack, and we must know that now little
is known of the suspect as of now, but intel
initial reports actually indicate that.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
He could be an Afghan national.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Now police are saying he was also shot and being
treated at the hospital.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Here's FBI Director Cash Betel, and.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Make no mistake, they will be brought to justice since
this is an assault on a federal law enforcement officer.
This will be treated at the federal level as an
assault on a federal law enforcement officer. The FBI will
lead out on that mission with our interagency partners to
include the Department of Homeland Security Secret Service atf DEA.
And we're thankful for the mayor's assistance in this matter.

(01:14):
The Metropolitan Police Department and their skills in investigating homicides
and gun shootings in this city is exceptional.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Now, this is a developing story which we will keep
you up to date on all the information as it
comes in. But now I want to bring in live
from our Alago, our host of Stinchfield tonight, Grant Stinchfield.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Good evening, Mattie, thank you, and I want to give
you a big thanks for filling in for me tonight,
and I really appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
So I am at mari A Llago.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
I got to spend some time with the President last night,
and I've been talking to some of the folks around
him that are very close to President Trump today. And
here's what I love. When something like this happens, President
Trump does not retreat.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
He moves forward.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
So what we're learning right now is at about five
hundred more National Guard troops will be called into Washington,
d C.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
This is the double down scenario.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
This is basically President Trump selling whoever's behind this attack,
and we have this one suspect that is in custody
as you mentioned, like possibly and Afterhan National I have
not actually gotten that confirmed on my end of things,
but business President Trump saying, you are not going to
dictate how we keep America safe.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Halloween meet America safe again. So yeah, we's bringing in
five hundred.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
More National Guard troops to Washington, DC, and many I
think this point needs to be made. There's National Guard troops.
Many arrest they've made in Washington, d C. Zero, the
number is zero. They are there for perception. They are
there to make people feel that they are safe, and
then they're there to put the criminals on notice that

(03:00):
friminality is not going to be tolerated diferent cities like Washington, DC.
You know, the city is around the country where President
Trump is carrying out this plan. So if anybody thinks
that they're going to make President Trump back, there's sadly mistaken.
And then I see this this this reporter on ms
NBC literally says, oh, the shooter may have mistaken that

(03:21):
for ICE agents, somehow ing the shooter that it's okay
to shoot ICE agents.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
All of it's disgusting. You'll see this left wing media
that will.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Come out and try to tell you that, oh, this
is President's Trump's fault. He never should have brought the
National Guard in. In fact, it's just the opposite. Don't
excuse the behavior of criminals. And that's your the left
wing media is going to try to do right now,
scud the behavior of criminals and saying that President Trump
is cited this by bringing the National boarding Remember who

(03:52):
President Trump.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Is doing this for.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
By bringing the National Guard troops in the cities like Washington,
it's doing it for the people. For people, oftentimes say
it bluntly, live in the hood, live in.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Bad areas of these cities. It's doing it.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
For them because they're fed up. The mothers, the grandmothers,
the grandfathers that are tired of the criminality.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
And so if anybody thinks the President Trump is back
and off of this, I can tell you from the
people that I've talked to here in Marilago, it's not
a chance.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
In fact, I think what you're going to see is
more of this unfold uh more National Guard troops coming into.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Places like walk here in d C. And other cities,
if not to just make a statement that stuff and
not be tolerated.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
But I can tell you as many as I grow
it back for you, President Trump is saddened by the
idea that you have two National Guard troops and critical condition.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
And I'll pold they're in really bad critical condition. That
is a term and media users can tell you bad tradition,
I'll tell you it's more worse than that. What we
need right now the prayers for these two West Virginia
National guardsmen u taken out by a deranged animal ex
President Trump called them.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
So if we can Spacefield's Army, pray for these National
Guard members and pray for President Trump.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Pray for this nation as he tried.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
To make America great again, and of course any make America.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Safety absolutely and great. You know, we were on the
ground in DC constantly. I was just at that location
a few days ago, and these National Guards they're happy
to be there. They want to serve at the pleasure
of the President. They want to be on the ground
defending the homeland. And the fact that their own citizens
came after them or somebody that was in their country
a place they should be safe. It's very scary and

(05:38):
it's worrisome as to where this country's going.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Yeah, you know, I point back to the video that
these seditious democrats put out there about disobeyed President Trump's orders.
All of this inspires this behavior on those on the left,
on those that hate President Trump, and a brunk arrangement
syndrome to engage in this kuyd of violence. So in
many respects, I would put some of the plane on

(06:04):
the left that had this violent rhetoric that tries to
to encourage this kind of stuff. And that's what we
saw from the indigious members of Congress and senators that
we're engaging in that behavior that put that video out.
And and to your point, any And, I think it's
very important those Natural.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Guard troops are proud to serve and keep these cities safe.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
And I can tell you being here at Mari Loango,
and I've spent a lot of time here now that
he's president again, the security is is like you've never
seen before.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
But I talked to these Secret Service agents.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I talked to the Combeachs County sheriff's deputies that are here.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
They are so proud and honored to be on duty here.
I have gotten links and nods about what it was
like to serve as a prior command or in chief.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Which was Schedule D. It was only, in my opinion,
the whole situation. They are so honored to keep this
man and his family safe at.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
The White House on the South ess as.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
I am sure that all of those maculin Bard troops
are so proud to keep Americans safe in American cities.
No matter what Democrats want to tell you, this is
what they sign up. They signed up to defend the
homeland and that's exactly what they're doing. And I'll tell
you what, Manny, I'm great.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Well, Grant, thank you so much, and we will keep
us updated as.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
You hear things on the ground in mar A Lago.
We'll be listening. So thank you so much and enjoy that.
Enjoy that. Florida Weather, thank.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
You, thank you so much for helping me out tonight
filling in on the show.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I appreciate you, of course.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Now I would like to turn the conversation to the
FBI side of things. What is known and where this
investigation goes from here? And that's the question a lot
of people are asking. So joining us now to discuss
this is a former FBI Special Agent and Navy Seal
retired Jonathan Gilliam.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Good evening, Good.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
To be with you.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
So, Jonathan, tell us, with your background as an agent,
when you look at this from a security standpoint, what
are those first things that come to your mind that
they're calling this an ambush?

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Give us your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
Well, first of all, they have to identify this individual,
which I'm sure they have identified it by now. And
as we've seen with all these other investigations that include
international terrorists such as ISIS or al Qaeda. They will
go through all their social media, They'll go through all
their computers and their phones, their fingerprints, even their retina

(08:38):
scans to see if they pop on any other investigations,
and they'll start following those things out to quickly identify
any other groups that this individual may be connected to,
because what you want to rule out very quickly, if possible,
is that is this individual working alone or are they
associated with some other ideology or group. Now, as Grant

(09:01):
was alluding to there a minute ago, once the investigations
go towards international terrorism, if that's what it is, I'm
seeing some reports on here. I haven't verified anything yet,
but if it goes towards international terrorism, a lot of
the times they just concentrate on the groups that these
individuals are associated with, but they don't associate or they

(09:24):
don't investigate any of the verbiage that may be spinning
around this country in citing people. And that's what we've
seen multiple attacks throughout the country, Colorado, Washington, d C.
With the murder of two Jewish individuals. We've seen all
these different things occur because of rhetoric, yet rhetoric of

(09:45):
the left, but yet it was directed and the action
was taken by people who identify with the international ideology.
So what I would like to see and what I
hope that they're doing, is starting to connec the dots
between the left and any of these other international groups
or any of these people who who try to assassinate

(10:08):
a president or killed Charlie Kirk.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
I mean, there are.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Connections between the left and what we call the Red
Green Alliance, which would be the left, socialist and.

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Fundamental Islam.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
And they need to start looking at these things because
that's very well where this could end up leading.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
And Jonathan, one of the biggest things is how close
this shooting was to the White House. I mean, this
is a place where we are at all the time,
there's leaders in and out. Do you think that this
could change the level of security that we're seeing around
the Capitol. And do you think that it's valid that
President Trump should bring more law enforcement in.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
There's really not much more law enforcement you could bring
in to Washington, d C. I mean, every federal agency
is there, the National Guard is their local law enforcement,
their state are there. I think what needs to probably
be modified is that they've been there long enough where
complacency can set in. As things get safer, law enforcement

(11:12):
can become more complacent. That needs to and same thing
with the National Guard. I'm not saying they were, but
I'm saying that is something that could easily be tightened up.
And then also law enforcement is very bad about institutional inbreeding,
where they do things the way that they do because
that's the way they've always been done. Law enforcement, national Guard,

(11:33):
anybody involved in these operations needs to start thinking outside
the box and looking at things like the bad guy,
so that they can start identifying avenues of approach, types
of attacks that could happen, when they would happen, and
how they can mitigate those types of attacks or the
possibility of those attacks, because just standing on the street

(11:55):
and walking a beat opens you wide up to this
type of attack. So I think that's what needs to
be modified. It's not we need more law enforcement, but
we need to be aware. New York City learned this.
You know, they have two people in a car, they're
both eating lunch with their heads down.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
One of them gets hit in the head with an axe.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
So we need to change the way that they do
this and really tighten up what they're watching and how
they're working.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
And Jonathan, before we let you go from your experience,
what type of timeframe can we typically expect when it
comes to an investigation like this. Can we expect some answers,
you know, later tonight or in the next few days.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
What's that look like?

Speaker 6 (12:37):
It all comes down to, first of all, can they
identify the individual. If he's identified, then that will go
much faster. But I've seen investigations such as the Times
Square bomb where they went in and put a pipe
bomb on the recruitment center at three o'clock in the
morning in two thousand and eight. That's never been solved,
and there's more cameras there than anywhere else in the world.

(13:00):
But yet the other Time Square a bomber where a
guy put a bomb in a truck and it didn't
go off. They were able to get his keys and
get because the vehicle didn't blow up, get some serial numbers,
find out who had that vehicle, who they sold it to,
and they caught the guy before he got on a
plane to get out of the country within twenty four hours,

(13:20):
I believe was so it could go either way. But
once they identify the individual and they see the footprint
that he has on his computer or phones, then we're
going to go very quickly, which I'm not going to
get into this, but it is very intriguing how Thomas
Crooks could do what he did and somehow they come

(13:40):
to a dead end. We're never able to find out
anything about that guy. So typically where we would see
this investigation go is that once they identify him, that
it's going to go very quickly.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Okay, well, Jonathan, we will definitely keep an eye out
on some of that data because we expect, with the
world of the Internet, hopefully we can find something in
that metadata.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
So Jonathan, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
And again, guys, we are monitoring this situation in Washington,
DC where the officials are saying that these two National
guardsmen were attacked in a shooting and now at this
point we are still being told they are in critical condition.
Both victims are members of the West Virginia National Guard.
Now they were in the nation's capital to support local

(14:24):
and federal law enforcement as part of the crime crackdown
of the Trump administration. But this aspect is being also
is being treated in a hospital for his injuries resulting
from him being shot, and as we've said, little is
known about his identity, and authorities are calling this an attack,
but the motive still.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Remains very unclear.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Here's the host of Just the News, No Noise, John
Solomon earlier this evening.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Take a listen.

Speaker 8 (14:49):
What we understand is it as if as the assailant
was coming across seventeenth Street, turning on the H Street,
he just opened fire on the guardsmen. Some were able
to return fire. He's wound it he's critically injured. The
guardsmen are critically injured. But it does look to be
a surprise, unprovoked, ambush style attack. They're literally they're walking

(15:11):
down the street and all of a sudden, this gentleman
comes around the corner and immediately opens fire. There's no
provocation according to the law enforcement officials I've talked to,
just pure hatred, just opening gunfire and trying to wound
these American heroes in uniform that have been keeping our
capital safe.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Joining us now is former Special Assistant to President Trump
and Army at Colonel retired. We have Derek Harvey. Good evening, Derek,
good to be here. Benny, So, colonel, you just heard Grant.
They're discussing at the beginning of the show. What is
your take on the situation? First off, give us that
broad overview from your expertise.

Speaker 9 (15:53):
Well, I'm having time in Afghanistan and having monitored and
evaluated all of the Afghans that were brought into the
country during the Biden administration, many of them without proper vetting.
One of the first things I'm wondering about is, you know,
the reports seem to be true from my sources that
this person is of Afghan descent, and that there is

(16:13):
one source that said that he yelled a lah akbar
during the shooting, not immediately, but during the shooting. So
that's of significant interest. So, you know, was he properly vetted,
what were his associations, who was he with here, what
mosque formal mosque or unofficial mosque was he involved in?

(16:35):
I'm not I don't think we actually know what his
actual residence is. But you know, my old friend and colleague,
you know, Cash Betel and his team will be on
top of this and they're treating this as a potential
terrorist attack. Now, what has not been helpful at all
is having the seditious sex six Like you know, Senator
uh Slotkin and Senator Kelly you know, saying things like,

(17:00):
you know, National guardsmen are going to start shooting Americans randomly,
you know, on top of all the other rhetoric about
you know, the attacks on ice and suggesting that they're
conducting the legal activities and you need to stand up
and calling them Nazis and ss and all this stuff
that has led to attacks on courthouses, attacks on churches

(17:22):
and you know, abortion anti abortion centers and the like.
You know, this promotion, incitement and rhetoric that leads to
violence amongst a group of our population, whether they're immigrant
or not, is a major problem in the Democrats just
need to stop it. Going back to the BLM riots,

(17:42):
the assassination attempts, it all goes back to a violent
rhetoric seated in the you know, with the Democrat leadership
and what they've been saying. It's insightful.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
And so when we take a look at the identity
of this suspect from your perspective, do you think, by
by any means that they might be keeping his identity
under wraps for a specific reason as we kind of
look at how how some of these people how attracts
absolutely there.

Speaker 9 (18:13):
They do not want to you know, provide information out
there that may compromise the pursuit of information and you know,
associations and access to you know, as you know previous
guests said, you know, computers, phones, records, whatever, they may be. Okay,
identifying who he was, who he is, where he lived,

(18:36):
who is associations, Uh, if he attended a mosque, what
oversized overseas connectivity did he have, if it's terrorist related,
if it's something else, if he's just not you know,
assimilated here, well and he's been you know, he's not
here legally. He might not even be here legally.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
We don't know.

Speaker 9 (18:55):
So you know, there's a lot to uncover here. But again,
the overarching environment that is created by rhetoric that is
inciting violence and attacks now on our national guardsman, you know,
is a major concern of mine.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
And before one last question before we let you go,
how how do you think when it comes to law
enforcement and it comes to these people that are truly
just trying to protect the homeland, just trying to protect
the citizens. How how do we ensure that this rhetoric
is there a way forward? Do you see a way
to end the rhetoric that leads to this violence. I mean,

(19:34):
we are seeing shootings after shootings. Take a look at
Chicago the past, this past weekend. There is an overflow
of violence. Is there any way do you see from
from your former experience in the administration when it comes
to comes to dealing with this, how do you suggest
we move forward?

Speaker 9 (19:52):
There there are some legal avenues, but we then run
headlong into issues of free speech and things like that.
But there there is good evidence that there is an
organization and networking and financing behind the activities that led
to violence and the BLM riots in twenty twenty, the
continued violence by Antifa, the organization and nonprofits and others

(20:15):
that are coordinating, facilitating and enabling the attacks on ICE
and the targeting of ICE and allowing them to be
organized and arrive exactly where Ice is at. That indicates
insider knowledge. So that type of activity, you know, is
driven by you know, political goals for sure to destabilize

(20:38):
and undermine the Trump administration, but also to change in
the nature of our society in many ways. And so
that's going to take a concerted effort to go after
this type of subversive activity.

Speaker 7 (20:50):
But there are tools in the box.

Speaker 9 (20:52):
But you know there has to be political will and
the resources to go after it.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yeah, well, colonel keeps post it if you hear anymore.
And just we appreciate your time this evening to discuss
this in your expertise.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
So thank you very much.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
Great to see you, Benny, you too.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
And we will be back with more on this story.
We'll be covering it all throughout the show. A huge
story to National guardmen in the hospital, So stay right here.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
We'll be back soon here on Stinchfield.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Tonight, CBS is currently reporting the identity of the shooter
suspected of attacking two National guardsmen in the national's nation's
capital just a few hours ago.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Now they are reporting.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
That his name and he is a twenty nine year
old Afghan national, like many have speculated, who entered the
US in twenty twenty one.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Now, his name is Ramula Lachinwaw and I'm.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Sure I butchered that, but we will get some proper
pronunciation here soon. And we also know at this point
that there are the two victims are in critical condition
and are members of the West Virginia National Guard. Now
Vice President JD. Vance earlier today he called for prayers
while addressing service members in Kentucky after he had heard

(22:13):
of this set attacked and so on with me. Now
we're chatting with thirty two year old US Air Force
combat veteran and founder of a Gator pac.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
We have Colonel Rob Maynus A good evening, Rob.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
Hey, good evening, Thanks for having me on.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
So Rob.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
They are calling this an attack. We've talked about this
a lot during the show. The victims are National Guardsmen
from West Virginia. What do those details mean to you?

Speaker 10 (22:39):
Well, what it has all the harmarks of a targeted attack,
and now that we know that he is an Islamist
from Afghanistan, one of the over seventy thousand unvetted that
Joe Biden's administration led into this country. We have two
things going on here. We have the Seditious six operation,
which is much greater than the video that the sixth Senator,

(23:00):
led by retired US Navy Captain Mark Kelly did. We
now have billboards going up around military bases that are
asking soldiers to question why they're doing security for ice
that and those kinds of things. So it's a massive
operation that's happening in order to undermine what the civil authority,

(23:21):
and the civil authority is represented by the President of
the United States in this country, and in the military,
he's the commander in chief. That's why we have seditious
law sedition laws that cover civilian and military personnel. But
this is added to it. They have put a target
on the backs of National guardsmen. All of the Democrat

(23:41):
politicians have consistently done this. I've even seen recently a
video of a retired Illinois National Guard general saying that
the Guard being in these cities to protect folks is
not cesque and those kinds of things. And they're questioning
the legality of the president's orders, which are perfectly legal
and lawful. And now you have a jihati that pulls

(24:04):
off an attack because they've probably been focused right on
this target for quite a while, and now they see
an opportunity and an opening because half of the country's leadership,
not just citizens yelling on social media, but leadership, political leadership,
is saying that they're re targets.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, that rhetoric that we are hearing just you know,
like the people calling the National Guard Nazis, that's really
contributing to this violence. But Colonel as a veteran yourself,
what was your reaction when you first heard about this story?
Bring us inside your mind.

Speaker 10 (24:44):
Sadly, I'm not surprised, and I'm not surprised as a
jihadist either, because we have been those of us that
have fought in this war and are still on active
duty and have retired from the US Armed Forces, former
intelligence officers that have run intelligence and surveillance on Islamis
around the world, know that there are tens of thousands,

(25:07):
tens of thousands of jihadists in this country, and they
are even getting into political offices, and nobody in power
is listening and taking the appropriate action things that need
to happen. Deport all of these people, President Trump, you
want to do massive deportations, get rid of every Islamist

(25:29):
that's in this country. They are not compatible, even the
naturalized ones, with the Constitution of the United States. Sharia
law doesn't acknowledge natural rights and the inalienable right to life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness, and the rights of women
and children.

Speaker 7 (25:46):
It doesn't do it.

Speaker 10 (25:47):
They can't take an oath to the Constitution of the
United States, as is required for a naturalized citizen and
be honest about it. Deport every single one of them.
That's what's going through my mind. Let's get people that
are working for you to do this job, and if
they refuse to do it, fire them and hire people
that will get this type of job done. The other
thing that needs to be done is all of the

(26:09):
resistors that are still in the United States Government have
got to be cleaned out this moment, mister President. This
moment requires something much more massive than even your initial
entry back into office, with all these wonderful executive orders
that people like Russ Vote have put together for you,
and you've signed in the hundreds more rapidly than anybody else.

(26:32):
But this moment requires an even greater effort, something like
the Manhattan Project that put the atomic weapons together in
World War Two. And it's got to be put together quickly.
And we've got to clean the United States Government out
so that we can get the job done for the
American people. And first of all and foremost is our
internal security. We are under attack. There's an attempted color

(26:56):
revolution going on. We don't know who exactly is involved
in it, but we have evidence. We have billboards going
up around our military basis asking soldiers and sailors, airman, marines,
guardians and coast guardsmen. The question the orders of the
President of the United States. We have US senators and
retired senior military officers putting videos out doing the same thing,

(27:17):
and they're all funded by non governmental organizations that probably
have tax dollars coming front to them, like organizations like
what USAID used to do and probably still does, only covertly.
Now we've got to get to the bottom of it.
You need people working for you that will do it,
and they need to get on it tonight before midnight.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
But first they poured all these Islamist every single one
of them.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Colonel I'm glad you brought up the national security aspect
of this and the open borders, because as a member
of the military, I really want to highlight our servicemen
and women after this tragedy occurred.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
When you become a member of the force, you take
an oath.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
And a lot of these Democrats are coming out saying, oh,
these National Guard don't want to be there, and they
hate President Trump and they're just as mad as we are.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
But that's not the truth, is it.

Speaker 7 (28:11):
No, it's not the truth. I've talked to many of them.

Speaker 10 (28:13):
As a matter of fact, I have a nephew that's
in another city I'm not going to name the location
right now, that's deployed there and going to be there
until the end of February, and he loves it. And
I've talked to his parents and they're very proud of him.
And people that I've seen talked to guardsmen in DC,
and I've talked to guardsmen in DC very recently, they
are very proud to be there. Down here in Mississippi,

(28:36):
we put a large contingent into the District of Columbia.
We were very proud to send them, and each and
every one of them agreed with this order that it
needed to be done, that it was lawful, and that's
the right thing to do.

Speaker 7 (28:48):
And you're right.

Speaker 10 (28:49):
We take an oath to the Constitution of the United States,
not a president, and there's nothing wrong with reminding service
members of that. There's also nothing wrong with reminding them
that you're not supposed to follow and unlawful order.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
We teach that to everybody.

Speaker 10 (29:02):
What's wrong and what's going on on the Democrat side,
especially from their retired military officers like Mark Kelly of Arizona,
is that they're not saying what orders explicitly are unlawful.
They're saying things like America's military is being pitted against
the American citizen. That puts a target on these National

(29:23):
guardsmen that were shot tonight and are in they're fighting
for their lives in a hospital bed right there. They're
saying things like there's a lack of trust with America's government,
implying that President Trump is generating this lack of trust,
and they're sowing seeds of doubt. And these billboards that
ask soldiers that are in the airborne at Fort Bragg,

(29:46):
did you join the airborne to provide security for ice?
Sowing seeds of doubt amongst the military. I'll remind them
you took an oath to the Constitution. You're supposed to
follow lawful orders for enlisted Mini wueis you took an
oath to follow the orders of the President of the
United States and the officers appointed above you. You must

(30:07):
do it and assume they're lawful. First, execute the orders.
If they come out to be unlawful, I'm all for it.
Like with the COVID vaccine mandate, unlawful order once that was.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
Found to be unlawful.

Speaker 10 (30:19):
You will find video of me encouraging people to acknowledge
that that's an unlawful order, especially the officers that we're
supposed to be implementing it.

Speaker 7 (30:29):
And unfortunately this crowd ever said a word.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Well, colonel, we have about a minute left.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Is there anything that you would like to say to
all those active active members in our armed forces? Words
of motivation, encouragement, and just to just to let them
know that you understand and you're here for them.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
What do you have to say?

Speaker 10 (30:49):
Well, tomorrow, all of America gives thanks for everything that
we have. We still live in a great country, folks,
regardless of all our problems, and we are very proud
of you. We support, We're to you one hundred percent.
Don't question the President of the United States. He's your
commander in chief. He hasn't given one unlawful order that
I've seen yet, and I look at each and every

(31:10):
one of them every time one comes out, stay in
the fight, take care of yourselves, and take care of
your American citizens.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Colonel Rob Mainiz, thank you so much. Thank you for
all the information you share with us tonight, and happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 7 (31:25):
Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving, and.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Keeping on this story when we come back.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Former police lieutenant and retired US and Evy intel officer
Stephen Rodgers will.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Join us up next.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Welcome back to Stinchfield tonight. I am Benny Harmony filling
in for Grant this evening, and we have some breaking
news coming out of DC a shooting where two National
Guardsmen were shot and critically injured in an ambush style attack. Now,
the identity of the suspect has been revealed as Ramulah Lochinwall.
He is an Afghan national who entered the US in

(32:09):
twenty twenty one, and he used a handgun. We're getting
reports that that is how he carried out this attack,
law enforcement sources have told CBS News.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Now on with me now to talk about.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
All of this is a former police lieutenant and retired
US Navy intel officer Stephen Rogers.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Welcome to the program.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Thank you very much, absolutely so, Stephen, what do you
make of this reporting that it was an Afghan national
that carried out this attack.

Speaker 11 (32:39):
Well, it goes to show you that there are people
in this country that simply are here for one purpose,
and one purpose only to hurt our nation. And let's
droll down to one of the major reasons why, at
least I believe that we're facing threats from individuals who
don't belong in this country, who came here illegally. And
it all points in the direction of Titians who are

(33:01):
demonizing our police, they're demonizing our military, they're demonizing the
president of the United States of America. These politicians all
of this, of what they're saying, they own a lot
of what's going on today with regard to this violence.
And they've got to understand that very bad people hear
their words, but those bad people are also acting on

(33:21):
their words. So we have to make that very clear
that yet there are people in this country they have
no use for our constitution, no use for our law,
and when they hear these politicians with their nonsensical, violent rhetoric,
it's almost a stamp of approval as to what they're
planning to do.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
And Stephen, does this change the approach that law enforcement
will take now because this was a foreign national what
does that process look like?

Speaker 11 (33:48):
Well, I'll tell you what's needed to be changed, and
the President of the United States is already doing that. Look,
when I hear these people get on these mainstream media
network saying that people in Washington they're upset. They don't
want the National Guard. There other cities they don't want
the military. I like to know what planet they're living on,
because I've been to Washington several times. I've been to

(34:08):
New York City, I've been all over the place, and
I've heard people say, we want our we want to
be protected. We don't mind having the military come here
and protect us because the police can't protect us. And
they're not blaming the cops, they're blaming the politicians. They're
blaming the judges, they're blaming the courts or letting these
maniacs back out on the streets. So the president has

(34:29):
already began that process in order to do what to
protect the people of this country.

Speaker 7 (34:35):
Look at it.

Speaker 11 (34:35):
I'm a retired military commander, a retired detective Bureau lieutenant
commander of a police department, and for forty years, you
know what, I've seen every imaginable program that this government
created to prevent some of the things we're seeing today,
it hasn't worked. But now what the President's doing, it's.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
Going to work.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
And so what about the islam aspect that we're seeing
in this now? If this is shown to be an
Islamic attack. Does that indicate to.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
You that there are much more than just a loan
shooter in this well that.

Speaker 7 (35:09):
Remains to be seen.

Speaker 11 (35:10):
I was very concerned when I was assigned to the
National Joint Teisim Task Force in Washington, DC years ago
that a lot of individuals crossing the border were crossing
this border to create cells around the country, and it
wasn't a matter of if they would attack, but it's
a matter of when. So here we see someone who
happens to be Islamic, who's created a situation here that's

(35:34):
causing us to ask those questions. Is this wider and
greater than what we've seen happen today? And that's where
the investigation is going to be pointed at. Is there
anyone else involved? They say there was not another shooter, fine,
but was there someone involved in planning? How did this
individual get a gun? Was there anyone else who had
knowledge that this individual was going to do this? All

(35:55):
this will come out in investigation. Look, I have a
tremendous hope that the FBI and the other law enforcement
agencies will get to the bottom of this sooner or later,
But we don't have those answers until they get the
answers with regard to their investigation.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
And Lieutenant President Trump, he's touted that this idea of
bringing the National Guard and law enforcement to Washington, d C.
Is to bring a homing presence to make citizens know
that they are safe and they don't need to worry
about gang violence. Do you agree with this assessment and
do you think that it's done its job to this
point until the tragedy today.

Speaker 11 (36:33):
Well, I've been to Washington several times. I'm down there
several times a month, and I've seen the difference between
the time I went there when the National Guard was
not there and now that the National Guard is there.
And I'll tell you, I was curious about the citizens
and I was wondering, I wonder what they're thinking about.
They love the idea that the President has taken that action.
And it's not only they love the idea in Washington,

(36:55):
across the country. I'd like some of these politicians, before
they open their mouths, is to do what I used
to do. Send a police car, go into some of
these high crime areas, try to walk down the street
with a child without the fear of getting shot. These
individuals doing all this demonizing and criticizing, they're serving no
purpose but to enbold the bad guys. Well, we have

(37:15):
to start showing the good guys that we're going to
protect them.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Yeah, Lieutenant, do you have any final words you'd like
to share with our viewers today in regards to these
attacks that we're seeing on American citizens. After Charlie Kirk
and now these two National guardsmen, how do we put
an end to this?

Speaker 7 (37:32):
Yes? Two things.

Speaker 11 (37:33):
Number One, we have to keep our nation in prayer.
I believe in the power of prayer. I believe that
God has blessed this nation and will continue to do
so as long as we focus on him. Number Two,
it's very important we get involved. I've said over and
over again. We have a constitution, we have a process
to remove people from office.

Speaker 7 (37:50):
It's called election Day.

Speaker 11 (37:51):
It's time we rise up within the framework of the law,
no violence, none of that stuff, and get to the polls.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
Get people who are.

Speaker 11 (37:58):
Going to run for office, who are going to back
policies that are of the people, by the people, and
the four of the people, God and country together, there's
a solution.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
I love that and thank You'll be praying for you
and lieutenant, just thank you so much for joining us
this evening to discuss this tragedy that occurred.

Speaker 7 (38:16):
Thank you, Thank you, and I salute you for the
work you're doing. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
And when we come back, we'll hear from an active
member of the West Virginia National Guard.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
So stay tuned. That's up next.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Welcome back to Stinsfield tonight. I'm Benny Harmony filling in
for Grant. So we have some more on this breaking
news out of DC, this shooting story which left two
West Virginia National Guardsmen critically injured. Now, the suspect is
a twenty nine year old Afghan migrant. We have come
to this knowledge, and he's now reported to have entered
the US in twenty and twenty one to this country

(39:00):
after the botched withdrawal that we saw under the Biden administration,
and has since overstayed his visa.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
We probably we could have guessed that one, but.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Some reports are indicating that this could actually possibly be an.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Act of international terrorism. So on with me.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Now we have a special guest, a Green Beret and
active West Virginia National Guardsmen and US Senate candidate Tom Willis.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Tom. First off, how are you.

Speaker 5 (39:26):
Hi?

Speaker 12 (39:26):
Benny, thanks for having me. It's an honor to be
with you. I'm doing well, but obviously this is a
shock for all of West Virginia. And you know, our
hearts are heavy with this news and our prayers or
with our brothers in the National Guard and for their families.
And the timing couldn't be worse a day before Thanksgiving.
So we have heavy hearts, but we remain steadfast and

(39:50):
we remain determined.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
Well, as an active guardsman in West Virginia, what were
your first thoughts when you heard of this? This could
not be easy. These victims are from or state.

Speaker 12 (40:02):
Right and and I just want to clarify Benning that
I'm speaking on behalf of myself, Tom Willis, as a
state senator and a candidate for US Senate. I'm not
speaking on behalf of the West Virginia National Guard. You
know they they have a public public affairs office or
the governor will speak on behalf of the West Virginia
Guard or the adjutent in general. So I'm just sharing
my personal views as a state senator and a US

(40:22):
and a candidate. But yeah, it's uh, it's heartbreaking. You know,
these are these are personal friends you know, we we've
heard a little bit about the inflammatory rhetoric from some
of your previous guests, and it's absolutely true. One thing
to remember is that, you know, the vast majority of
National Guardsmen don't wear the uniform. You know, twenty eight

(40:44):
days out of every month, they're working at Walmart. They're
your local police, they're your firefighters, they're your nurses, your doctors,
you know, your your professionals. Uh so so, but they're
but they also follow their duty and when they're called
to serve, they serve willingly and with honor. And and

(41:05):
so these are my brothers and sisters in Washington, d C.
Carrying out this mission. It could have easily been me
that had been called up for this mission. So I
could have easily been a part of this. And I've
talked to them during the mission. I know that there
were you know, fulfilling their duty, honorably, fulfilling it well
like we always do. And in West Virginia has a

(41:26):
long history of close ties with the Washington d C.

Speaker 7 (41:29):
National Guard.

Speaker 12 (41:30):
Every presidential inauguration, we send a large contingent of West
Virginia National Guardsmen to support the d C National Guard
and to provide security in the DC area. We also
support with regards to hazardous response if there's a hazardous
waste disaster, or a natural disaster or a chemical, biological,

(41:51):
radiological disaster. It's well known that West Virginia is on
the first line of defense to support Washington d C
with our expertise in our sets, so we have long
ties and supporting the DC National Guard and supporting Washington
d C. Obviously, this mission would not have been necessary
if local authorities were doing a better job of controlling

(42:14):
crime and not encouraging lawlessness by being soft on criming
and turning a blind eye to it. Really, that's the
root cause of this tragedy that in this uh noxious
what appears to be a noxious you know, Muslim terrorist ideology.
We've been spoiled the last couple of years because President

(42:35):
Trump was so effective in attacking and nullifying ISIS in
al Qaeda during his first term that we haven't heard
as much domestically or internationally from those terrorist organizations. But
make no mistake, they're still alive. You know, I've I've
worked against them personally, multiple deployments to Afghanistan and to

(42:58):
the Middle East, and they're still alive and well they've
been reduced, but they still want to kill Americans.

Speaker 7 (43:06):
They still want to destroy our society.

Speaker 12 (43:08):
And it sounds like that's what we're dealing with this night,
this evening, and we'll have to wait for more details
to confirm.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Well, Tom, I want to share this clip with you.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Pete Hegg said he talked about earlier sending more troops
and I'll get your thoughts.

Speaker 13 (43:21):
On the other side, someone decided to turn that into
targeting National guardsmen. That will only stiffen our resolve. We
will never back down. We will secure our capital, we
will secure our cities.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
In fact, this.

Speaker 13 (43:36):
Happened just steps away from the White House. It will
not stand and that's why President Trump has asked me
and I will ask the Secretary of the Army to
the National Guard to add five hundred additional troops National
guardsmen to Washington, DC. This will only stiffen our resolve.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
So we just heard it right there. The Pentagon is
sending wants to send five.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Hundred more troops to the district following this event.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
What's your take on that the overall use of the
National Guard troops being deployed not just to DC, but
many major cities.

Speaker 12 (44:11):
Well, the sectuary of war is absolutely right. We will
never back down. One thing to remember is that the
people that operate with this ideology are looking for weakness,
and if we signal weakness that this sort of attack
is effective, then then they'll just double down and increase
their efforts. So again, the root cause of how did

(44:34):
we get to this position in the first place is
the failure of mayors and Democrat cities uh to enforce
the law and encourage law their encouraging lawlessness through their
policies and their soft on crime and turning a blind
eye to crime, and failure to enforce the law and
letting folks out with no cash bond or are failing

(44:56):
failing to prosecute crimes as they occur. This lawlessness is
what gave rise to the need for a lawful presence
in the first place. And so that's the root issue
that we need to address here is get people into
government that are willing to enforce the law and encourage
a culture of lawfulness, of law and order. And that's

(45:19):
what we stand for on the Republican side of the aisle,
and that would be nice. So you don't need National
Guard in the first place in these cities yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
And when we first began this, you mentioned you are
running for Senate in a West Virginia. Now, what can
our elected leaders do? What are you calling on them
to do to address this? And what would you do
if you were in their shoes right now?

Speaker 12 (45:44):
That's right, Benny, I'm currently a state senator. I'm running
for US Senate for West Virginia. I think that one
thing we need to do at the federal level is
take a very close look at our immigration laws. You know,
I met my wife on a military deployment, and when
we went through the immigration process, the paperwork is quite
thick that you have to accomplish to get a visa

(46:05):
and then a green card and then the US passport
and become a citizen. But it was interesting. One of
some of the questions that they asked her as part
of that immigration packet was whether she was a communist
or had ties to communism. And it was interesting because
there was there's an explicit acknowledgment on behalf of the

(46:25):
State Department and the US government that we don't want
to bring people into our country with ideology ideological views
such as communism that are completely antithetical to our constitutional
republic form of government, and I think we need to
take a very hard look at implementing similar restrictions on

(46:46):
Sharia law, because Sharia law is completely antithetical to our
constitutional republic as well. And if we're gonna if we're
going to screen for one harmful ideology in consistent with
our way of life in our society, we should screen
for all of them, and certainly sharia law would be
one of those. Now, it's very difficult. I've worked in

(47:07):
a few embassies overseas, and I've had conversations with some
of my friends that were in the visa department, and
a lot of times we were in Muslim countries, and
you know, folks who come in, they know the right
things to say.

Speaker 7 (47:18):
They know they know the words to avoid.

Speaker 12 (47:21):
It's not always easy to figure out, you know who,
who might turn out to be a Muslim terrorist. But
we need to make the standards much stricter and so
we avoid a situation like they have in Europe where
Muslim Islamic immigration has completely transformed a lot of societies
across Europe, and frankly, it's too late for a lot

(47:42):
of those civilizations. They're they're they're beyond hope at this
point and a lot of those countries.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Well, Tom, thank you so much, thanks for coming on.

Speaker 7 (47:52):
This evening, Thanks Benny coming back.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
We will share some final thoughts on the day and
all that unfolded on this day before Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
Stay here, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
Well, thank you all for joining us today as I
filled in for Grant, and Grant, thank you for allowing
me to do this.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
But I just want to wish you

Speaker 2 (48:14):
Guys all a very happy Thanksgiving and even though there
was a great tragedy today, we have to remember how
good our God is and always is
