Speaker 1 (00:00):
Multiple sources are telling CNN the Justice Department will ask
a federal grand jury today to indict President Trump's former
national security advisor, John Bolton. This would be the third
indictment of the president's self described political enemies in just
three weeks. I'm joined here at the table with a
terrific group of reporters, including Kaitlin Polantz, who is bringing
(00:24):
us this reporting. Kaitlin, what do we.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Know, well, Dana, We know now from various sources that
the grand jury in Maryland in federal court is expected
to be hearing evidence about John Bolton this afternoon.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
The Justice Department is expected to.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Go in there and ask for an indictment of the
former national security advisor to Donald Trump and somebody who
is not just well known from the Trump era, but
a longtime government official. This is a case where it's
been in the works for years. It's been worked on
because Bolton at one point was discovered having an Aol
(00:58):
email account, according to the service I've talked to, where
he was writing notes to himself about his time in
the Trump White House, and that could include classified documents.
We also know from a recent search just two months
ago that there were many documents, including ones labeled as
about weapons of mass destruction, about Allied strikes, things that
had markings on them that said classified secret. There were phones, computers, drives,
(01:21):
all of that sees from his house. His lawyer has
said this could all be very old material from the
George W. Bush administration and nothing inappropriate was being kept
by Bolton. But there is still an important possibility here
that this is a very serious national security case and
(01:42):
that the Justice Department does continue wanting to enforce cases
like these. It might not be all of a political decision.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
This is the primal screen of a dying regime.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
Pray for our enemies, because we're going to medieval on
the people.
Speaker 6 (02:01):
You've not got a free shot, and all these networks
lying about the people.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
The people have had a belly full of it.
Speaker 7 (02:07):
I know you don't like hearing that. I know you
tried to do everything in the world to stop that,
but you're not going to stop it.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
It's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
And where do people like that go to share the
big line?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Mega media?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
I wish in my soul, I wish that any of
these people had a conscience.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose.
Speaker 8 (02:27):
If that answer is to save my country, this country
will be saved.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Worry. Here's your host, Stephen k Ban.
Speaker 7 (02:42):
You're in the room.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
That's Thursday, October sixteenth and a year of our lower
twenty twenty five, and I'm extremely pleased to be able
to sit here and tell you, specifically the wonderful CNN commentators,
that their projections have actually materialized and that John Bolton,
in just a few minutes before coming to air, has
indeed been indicted by a federal grand jury in Maryland.
(03:06):
We're going to have Mike Davis on shortly to walk
us through the intricacies of this case, certainly the opening salvo,
and is going to be a long fight. Dairy say,
feeling a little retribution at the moment, although as we've
always said, it's not retribution, it's accountability, and it's but
I was reading the CNN textual article synopsis of the
(03:28):
indictments against John Bolton and bribed him.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
You know, woe is me, poor John Bolton.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Apparently now they don't seem to care about people who
allegedly maintain classified documents.
Speaker 7 (03:39):
I think their coverage of the.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Mar A Lago raid was a little bit different, but
they described as quote, the third high profile Trump political
enemy to face an indictment. And what I would humbly
posit as a correction to the editorial stance of Sienna
is that John Bolton isn't just an enemy to Trump,
that secondary tertiary to all this, but he's anatomy to
the United States of America. Maybe that's a harsh charge,
(04:04):
although I point in what you're getting indicted for mishandling
classified documents. I think that's probably a fair accusation. But
why do I say that. I think Don Bolton has
always been that creepy mustache wearing token Republican that has
sort of floated around the mainstream media commentariat that is
too busy lecturing this audience applauding Steve Bannon, going to
(04:27):
prison ones who are destroyancy. That were the people who
don't respect the norms of democratic transition. Well, last time
I checked, mishandling classified documents is probably not respecting the
transition of power, John Bolton. But please keep lecturing us
on how important the rule of law is and how
(04:49):
terrible January sixth was. Right, it's Donald Trump who's not
a crat because he doesn't understand the value of democracy
When you're busy, who knows where you're.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
Passing off these documents to.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
So I mean, obviously you've engaged in information warfare against
the American people. I just have to turn on CNN
for a second to see that. But you've also probably engaged, honestly,
I'd say a second, third level, removed kinetic warfare with
all the Iran warmongering that you've been response.
Speaker 1 (05:21):

things that had markings on them that said classified secret.
There were phones, computers, drives, all of that sees from
his house. His lawyer has said this and could all be.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Very having some technical difficulties and we can blame it
on John Bolton. But I am back. I don't know
what I was talking about. Maybe the third Kinetic World
Wars is too hot to touch for the global Internet sensors.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
Not here on RAV. We love RAV, always an honor
to host.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
But this is why I hate Bolton because people like
him he represents. He is the tip of the information
warfare sphere of people who think that they are better
than you because they have access to classified information. They
think that they're better than you because they have stupid
appointed fellowships and think tank positions at Brookings in the
Atlanta Council and all of his fake organizations that don't
(07:26):
exist because of anything rooted in American identity or putting
America first, but exists solely because they take and they
have absolutely no respect for the rule of law. All
they care about is getting rich selling this country down
the river. John Bolton is the epitome of managed decline,
and it is quite not just symbolic, but important that
(07:47):
people like him are held to account and not made
an example of political or politicized or legal lawfare reasons,
but for the sake of this country, because if people
like him are allowed to continue to sell the country
and our secrets down the river while actively engaging and
conspiring with foreign countries to drag us into more foreign entaglements,
(08:07):
if not outright wars, nothing is going to happen.
Speaker 7 (08:11):
I don't care how many people you deport.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
It's people like John Bolton who are the enemy within.
And I'm glad you're getting a little taste of your
own medicine. And I really look forward to watching MSNBC,
CNN take PIC all those shows tonight, which had a
very different tune when it came to President Trump's mar
A Lago raid and the classified documents. I'm going to
be watching with a very close eye to see if
(08:33):
there's any nice double standards double standards at argue. Probably
trip standards there. Mike Davis, got it. You've got a
high bar to coming hotter than that. But you probably
dislike John Boltimore than I do. Not for personal reasons,
but for the fact that he mishandled classified documents, which
last time I checked, the left really hates. They raided
a freaking former president's home.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Page.
Speaker 6 (08:59):
And indictment, Natalie, it's out of the District of Maryland's
the US attorney and the District of Maryland is a
career federal prosecutor. They worked with the National Security Division
and Main Justice. There are several career attorneys' names on
this indictment, so this is not a political indictment, and
(09:20):
it's a very serious indictment. You're looking at eighteen different
counts against John Bolton. I think eight of them were
for transmitting national defense information. That means he was sending
national defense information apparently through his AOL accounts or his
personal email accounts, and then they got him for ten
(09:41):
counts of retaining national defense information. These are very serious
espionage charges. And what's so damning for John Bolton in
this indictment is they go through in this indictment to
show his knowledge and intent. They go through and quote
John Bolton in the past for when he's talked about
(10:03):
how doing the very things he allegedly did here is
a very serious national security crime, espionage. And they go
through these documents, and some of these documents are top
secret with code names, So these are beyond top secret
documents as far as I can tell, from his time
as the President's National Security advisor. So he had access
(10:28):
to some of the most he had access to the
most classified information in all of our governments, and he's
sending it via personal email and he's retaining it. So
you're not gonna be able to say this is a
political case here, with the career prosecutors in the District
of Maryland, the career prosecutors at Main Justice and the
(10:52):
National Security Division, and just the magnitude of the number
of classified documents, highly classified documents that he sent and
that he retained, he's in a very deep poll and
it looks like John Bolton, if these allegations are true,
are going to go He's going to go to prison
for a very long time.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Walk us through the timeline on this. Is there going
to be a purp walk? What does that look like?
Speaker 6 (11:18):
That's a very good question. That's going to be up
to the UH, to the prosecutors in the District of
Maryland's I know Lindsay Holligan made the decision, and I
think the correct decision. I didn't think it was correct
at the time, but I understood her rationale. She made
the correct decision not to purp walk James Comy and
(11:39):
Tiss James Big Tish for their charges in the Eastern
District of Virginia for for you know, lying to Congress,
false statements to Congress, an obstruction of a congressional investigation
for Comby for mortgage fraud, bank fraud, and false statements
to a financial institution for Big Dish James the New
York Attorney General. She didn't want to create sympathy for
(12:02):
those defendants. In the Eastern District of Virginia, which is
loaded up with government, government workers and other Democrats. You're
gonna have the same issue in Maryland and so we
may not see purp walks here because they want to
just they may want to keep this low key. On
the other hands, espionage is a very serious charge, as
(12:24):
John Bolton has said repeatedly, and as the prosecutors outlined.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
In this indictment.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
This was an indictment by Democrats, largely Democrats in the
suburbs of Washington, d C and Maryland, just like Lindsay
got with the suburbs of d C in Alexandria, in
the Eastern District of Virginia. It's this is I'm reading
through again. I'm just reading through this now. It's twenty
six pages. But these are very serious charges.
Speaker 7 (12:57):
Mike.
Speaker 5 (12:57):
If people want to follow you stay upstate with everything
you're working on.
Speaker 7 (13:00):

but only what you can afford, and take action. The
war room posse's superpower. But I would encourage the war

Speaker 5 (15:30):
You're back in the war room where we got the
one and only Norbin Lawden, who I always love having
on the show. But it's sort of a Pavlovian response
where anytime we have you on it means the United
Nations is doing something bad, although the at least this
time the Trump administration is fighting back Washington. A lot
of people, even in Trump's cabinet, are talking about this
(15:50):
new global carbon tax. I know that's thrown around a
lot and sort of maybe hyperbolic sometimes, but this time,
from what I gather, the UN is being pretty straight
up about what their ambitions are, wanting to tax carbon emissions, shipping,
all that kind of stuff. Can you walk us through
who the players are in this, what exactly this looks like,
(16:10):
and just help us understand what's actually going on here?
Speaker 9 (16:14):
Yes, of course, Natalie, great to be on with you
and to discuss this topic because there's so much going on.
The news cycle is really crazy, but this is actually
very very important, and I'll just set up a little
bit of the context. But basically, obviously you have the
UN all of its daughter organizations, this entire globalist superstructure,
(16:35):
and the agency, the specialized agency that we're going to
talk about today is the International Maritime Organization IMO, and
they are at the center of this war that is
being waged right now between the Trump administration fighting hard
pushing back against this new global text that they are
(16:57):
pushing onto the world via its member states. And so
what essentially is happening is that you have this law.
So the IMO is tasked basically with overseeing and regulating
the seeds the entire shipping industry, and they've been you know,
added since nineteen forty eight, since their inception. There's one
key instrument that they've set up, which is the MARPOL,
(17:22):
the Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships. This
dates back to the seventies and they are currently amending
it to add in this annex which comprises a n
z F. Obviously, you know the nomenclatron, the process and
(17:43):
the procedure, they always make it extremely complicated, but an
ENZF essentially is a net zero framework and under this
framework they essentially want to tax all ships for their missions.
There are carbon emissions. There are greenhouse gas emissions per tonnage.
(18:06):
So we're looking at essentially one hundred and seventy six
member states that are signatory to Marpole, and all of
the ships that fall within these one hundred and seventy
six jurisdictions would essentially have to pay this tax. And
it's the first time in UN history where it would
(18:26):
go directly into a fund which would be controlled by
the UN. It's the International Maritime Organization Net zero fund,
and they would control that. And obviously who at the
end of the day will be incurring this increase and
this hidden tax. It is us, the consumers, and President
(18:46):
Trump came really hard against this. It's been going on
for months. This war has been going on since April
when the IMO convened and essentially a dot opted the
draft for this amendment to the law, and they're supposed
to vote tomorrow on the formal adoption. All member states
(19:12):
are gathering in London right now this week, where the
IMO is headquartered, and the United States essentially has been
very vocal issuing a statement. Secretary of State Marc Rubio,
Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and Secretary of Transportation Sean
Duffy issued a statement last week, a very strongly worded
(19:36):
statement against this n z F, this net zero framework,
and also threatened member states not to adopt this new
law essentially or this new provision into the law, threatening
also with tariffs. So this is really an integral part
(19:59):
in term of global economic warfare, and every single citizen
across the world, across you know, these one hundred and
seventy six member states stand to lose this go forward.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
And no, I think you really hit the nail on
the head. It's also like, what are these funds really
going to be used for? Their sort of you know,
in their typical hr globalists speak very euphemistic about it.
I want to read some of the quotes when they
do provide insight to create this net zero fund that
would quote reward low emission ships and create quote just
(20:37):
transition initiatives and developing countries and quote mitigate negative impacts
of climate change on vulnerable states. I think I just
turned into like a liberal by reading that. But what
does that even mean? What does that mean?
Speaker 9 (20:53):
Well, you know, the UN is pushing Agenda twenty thirty
and Agenda twenty fifty, Agenda twenty fifth being net zero
complete uh phasing out of fossil fuels or carbon fuels.
And it's the it's it's been going on for decades,
right this transition by the United Nations, all of the
(21:15):
globalist institutions, the different players such as Black Rock, our
central banks, our own governments, obviously against the interest of
their own citizens and constituents. And they have these different
vehicles right now, as I mentioned, we're discussing the IMO.
But this is this is very important because that would
(21:36):
that would be a clear acceleration of that agenda in
terms of the economics of it. And we also have
this very peculiar development which is quite you know, representative
of the public private partnership, how would you say, ethos,
(21:56):
but you have the shipping industry that is actually behind
the and on October ninth, you had a statement from
different how would you say, associations of the shipping companies
coming out in favor of this transition, which is really
odd because obviously they would be text but they know
(22:20):
that the customer at the end of the day, US
citizens will be the people that will be incurring the costs.
And another important point, which I think is really important,
is that China stands to gain from this, because the
idea is that they would be phasing out all of
(22:40):
these ships that run on carbon fuels for ships that
are built, you know, on alternative fuels. And China obviously
is the main player when it comes to shipbuilding. I
think China accounts for over sixty percent of the new bills,
and obviously you have Japan and also South Korea. There
(23:02):
are main players. But this would clearly lead to a
increase of maritime influence by China should this move forward.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
In ord, just give us a minute or two on
any other initiatives or rollouts like these that you think
our audience needs to stay ahead of the curve on
when it comes to what the UN or their evil
subsidiaries or little spinoffs like the Who are doing.
Speaker 9 (23:30):
You know, the wh show is one of the main
other key vehicles We've discussed many times on the show,
and I'm still monitoring what's going on there. They are
still having the negotiations on their Pandemic treaty. They pretended
that everything had been solidified and ratified back in May,
but they left out the meat of the agreement in
(23:53):
this annex, the PABs Annex, and this is still currently
being negotiating, negotiated, So we will have to look to
the annual Assembly, the World Health Assembly next May coming
up in a few months from now. You obviously have
the World Economic Forum that is organizing regular meetups throughout
(24:13):
the year. Currently. Also this week they were in Dubai
discussing all these developments in terms of technology and cybersecurity
and AI and pushing that agenda in terms of making
sure that they can control all of all of our
(24:33):
platforms and future technologies. And this this is you know,
going to the lead up of Davos obviously in January,
that's coming up, that's coming up. The dates have already
been set for the Davos Annual meeting of the WEF
in Switzerland coming up in jan As I mentioned, every
(24:54):
year so we see clear pushbacks from the Trump and
illustration when it comes to key advancements of the globalist agenda.
And at the same time you see them still maneuvering,
still working behind the scenes to advance their own agenda.
And it is absolutely crucial that we remain informed, especially
(25:18):
when they try to obfuscate and to confuse the population.
You know, I spend a lot of time to look
at all of these documents and try to break them down.
But there is actually so much information and it's it's
obviously done on purpose to keep us uninformed as much
(25:39):
as possible while their agenda moves along.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
But this, this is.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
Quite verbose, this to hide a quite evil agenda.
Speaker 7 (25:47):
Nor we've got we've got to we've got to hit
a break.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
But if people want, I know they love reading all
your stuff, and you're always working on exciting projects. If
people want to follow you stay up to date on
all of that, where can they go?
Speaker 9 (26:00):
Best places orbin Laden dot substack dot com. And I
really encourage people to look at the statement and read
the statement from the State Department that came out last
week ahead of this week's meeting in London of the
International Maritime Organization. You can find that on the State
Department's website. And there's also a really good article by
(26:22):
Joshua Arnold published on the Washington Stand on this very topic,
very comprehensive, goes into the details of the carbon tax
and how they're going to try and implement this.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
It's like a hydra when you cut off the head metaphorically,
it just comes back rearing with like what eight more?
Speaker 7 (26:46):
Maybe in this case eighty.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
But luckily we got President Trump standing the reach war imposse.
We'll be right back after this short break.
Speaker 7 (26:52):
We're going to drill down on.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
All things China, Chinese Communist Party.
Speaker 7 (26:57):
We got it.
Speaker 8 (27:00):
War room.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Excuse your host, Stephen k.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Ban. You're back in the war room, where we obviously
stand very strong against global government because I don't know
who exactly that global sovereign.
Speaker 7 (27:16):
Is going to be.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
I guess maybe we can answer the question of who's
going to benefit from the global carbon tax. I don't
think they took no taxation without representation the right way
when President Trump pulled out of the WHO or frankly
all things un that would be my suggestion. But in
some capacity, global government is already here. I saw yet
(27:38):
another illegal alien police officer. Try to make that make sense.
That's an oxymoron if I've ever seen it, was arrested
by Ice today. That's an interesting turn of events. Obviously,
Jack Smith from the Hague over there with his un pals,
no conspiracies, no coincidence, is refusing to cooperate and testify
(28:00):
or at least handover documents to Jim Jordan. And of
course everything we've been seeing which is a result of
these globalized supply chains.
Speaker 7 (28:08):
When it comes to China pulling the.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
Nuclear option on all things rare earths, not just the
actual procurement of these various metals, take your pick which one,
but also the actual exporting of the tools used to
refine them, of which China retains upwards I believe of
ninety percent of basically all refining capabilities. If you want
to talk about unrestricted warfare, I think that's probably a
(28:33):
prime example. But also, you know, we've talked about the
EMP attacks here, the sort of off switch for America.
But it's also wild and I think it gets back
to what nor was talking about how in some cases
it's these un entities that are being subverted by the
Chinese Communist Party. But the FTC, the Trump administration, as
we've seen you can put that national interest piece up,
(28:55):
is really working hard to sort of create a new
GPS backups system.
Speaker 7 (29:01):
They're, like I said, same with the EMP stuff.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
There's sort of an off switch on all these things,
and a lot of the lobbying groups who are trying
to counter these efforts all have ties to the Chinese
Communist Party. There's a bright Bart article highlighting that and
in some cases, obviously all Chinese companies per Article seven
of China's National Intelligence Law, can be essentially taken over
(29:24):
by the PRC turned into state owned enterprises to achieve
any end, any means of the state, anything that they
deem relevant to national security. But even companies like Zte,
which have actually been sanctioned by the first Trump administration
and of course retain robust ties to China's military, to
basically all the upper reuschelants of the Chinese Communist Party
(29:46):
or busy lobbying certain companies, telecom providers, et cetera, to
make sure that this does not happen. This is unrestricted warfare.
This is the enemy within. This is what we talk
about people who I don't know, maybe John Bolton, Maybe
that's a good example for today. When people like that
are mishandling classified documents, will actively working with and conspiring
(30:08):
foreign countries, you certainly get an interesting, interesting mix. I
also just want to give some other updates on what
the who is doing before we go to our next guest.
I've been writing some stuff up on substack, which you
can read.
Speaker 7 (30:25):
I think it's I don't even know it's Natalie G.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
Winters or Natalie Grayswinters dot substack dot com. But I'm
just going to give you a punch list of some
of the clandestine things the WHO has been doing behind
closed doors on the pandemic treaty front, but on the
sort of global convergence of you know, emergency crisis response.
But what they don't tell you is that emergency means
climate change or racial inequity, take your pick of woke buzzword.
(30:53):
But they created the Public Health and Social Measures Decision Navigator,
the two point zero plots for which we'll quote identify
relevant content from websites, social media, and other public sources
to identify important health events. It's called the Epidemic Intelligence
from Open Sources. And essentially they launched a new AI
pandemic tracker that's going to be monitoring and essentially patrolling
(31:16):
social media to see what kind of misinformation They need
to crack down on their fusing essentially new AI tools
to be able to do this, so they can process
more sources, get probably more of your social media posts,
more of the war room clips that you share. They've
also announced progress this is another story of mine, on
(31:38):
what they call the Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing System.
They have a nice little acronym for it, the PABs system.
Where this one's actually quite wild. They're working on a
pandemic causing Pathogen database Global Sharing Initiative.
Speaker 7 (31:55):
Yes you heard that right.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
They didn't learn anything from COVID or I guess maybe
they learned everything. If what they cared to learn was
how to cause a global pandemic, they're pretty good at that.
But they are providing quotes catch this safe, transparent and
accountable access to pathogens with pandemic potential to all WHO
member states, not just China, but every country. They also
(32:18):
want to guarantee quote equitable, rapid and timely sharing of
countermeasures buried lead there what they.
Speaker 7 (32:23):
Don't tell you they mean vaccines.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
And they also want to quote strengthen global health preparedness
by pooling resources across borders, which, as you and I
both know, that is just a dog whistle for suppressing
not just nationalism, but the idea of hypernational supply chains
and not being reliant on what we saw was the
completely defunct and completely inadequate globalized supply chains that failed
(32:47):
that are of course reliant on probably the un who's
largest benefactor, China, but totally failed during COVID. That's just
some of the latest things that the WHO is working on.
It's absolutely wild and I think it goes back to
sort of the key point that.
Speaker 7 (33:02):
Nora was making.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
And even you see with the Bolton stuff, right, even
when we come after these people, and rightfully so, they
are not just sitting and cowering.
Speaker 7 (33:12):
They are rebranding. They are like a hydra.
Speaker 5 (33:14):
They are coming back with even greater force because they
know they are lashing out and their last few breaths
again metaphorically but seeking because they understand right that this
is a serious existential threat. And before we get to
our next guest, last thing, I wanted to mention another
great hit piece on war Room and yours truly from
(33:35):
Media Matters, just because we're talking about spiritual warfare. Will
give Media Matters what they want. Apparently they really don't
like it when we call our enemies demonic. How about
this Media Matters people who kill people that they disagree
with because they can't beat them in debates and they
don't like the impacts that they have on elections and
they're what weird, you know, transgender, furry whatevers. Those people
(33:58):
are demonic, very demonic and it is a spiritual warfare,
and I frankly I would actually fact check your headline
and say it's quite true. I don't see the lie.
So thank you Media Matters. As Steve always says, you're
doing a great job running our press department.
Speaker 7 (34:15):
So we'll take it.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
Nathan Picicarsik joins us now, who has an absolutely wonderful
piece and real clear defense. Always love when we can
get anti CCP content in mainstream publications, talking about hidden huahwehs,
which I love that term not just because of the alliteration,
but the ideas that you're going through here on the
(34:37):
sort of actionable roadmap of what the Trump administration can do.
Speaker 7 (34:42):
Can you sort of walk.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
Us through your piece, your suggestions, and what exactly a
hidden Huahweh is?
Speaker 8 (34:48):
Absolutely, Natalie, and that's completely in the framing that you
just offered that. As we find the problem actors and
we try to take our whack a mole approach to
addressing them, whether they're from the CCP or elsewhere, they
find a way to rebrand, to burrow themselves into supply
chains deeper, and that's what we're trying to explain with
the hidden Huawei concept. So we know that ZT and
(35:09):
Huawei are threats, their threats that are unacceptable to US
national security because they're touching critical infrastructure, data, and telecommunications networks.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
And we've done work.
Speaker 8 (35:21):
The first Trump administration and the second administration have done
a valiant effort to clear our networks from those actors.
They've been able to rebrand themselves, and they've been able
to bring supply chains that don't carry the same labels
into the American marketplace into products that might otherwise look
or be labeled is something that might be friendly or
(35:42):
even American.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
And this all.
Speaker 8 (35:44):
Works alongside China's broader economic warfare strategy which intends to
penetrate our networks, intends to penetrate our market and to
get closer and closer with their access and their capacity
to disrupt our operations. So hidden huaweis are are touching
everything from the telecommunications networks and routers that Huawei and
(36:05):
ZT presented threats in to the Wi Fi hotspots that
you might be using your home and their analogs in
industrial and enterprise fixed wireless access equipment. And as you
highlighted just in the preamble here, Trump's FCC has been
taking new efforts to understand and to address these threats,
(36:26):
and we're looking to folks like Chairman Brendan Carr to
continue that campaign and to understand the broad swath of
the supply chain that these hidden huaweis are attacking, and
to make sure that Americans are protected in their homes
with their Wi Fi hotspots, and to make sure that
the wireless networks that you might join when you're at
the airport or in a shopping mall aren't going to
(36:48):
expose your personal data and the operations that depend on
those networks. Functioning to the threat that the Chinese Communist
Party presents.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Well, especially we're at economic warfare of everything doing on
the rare Earth's runt. I think there's probably no better
time being a prime example of when we shouldn't have
these companies embedded, certainly in our technical infrastructure grid. But
I'm sure the audience's heads are blowing up. They want
to make sure that they're homes, their devices are not
relying on any of these companies these services. Can you
(37:19):
maybe give us an example of either what the Trump
administration has done to combat this, what specifically what they
need to do, or what exactly some of these companies.
Speaker 8 (37:28):
Are yeah, absolutely, so I think part of the problem
here is that some of these companies are creating the
modules and chipsets that go inside of devices, so they
might not be obvious from the brand label or from
the telecommunications carrier that you're working with that you have
a piece of equipment that might be compromised. So the
(37:48):
first challenge is that the Trump administration. I think the
FCC has already taken steps to be able to do this,
to expand their reach to make sure that they can
account for component supply chain, so not just finished equipment,
but also so the insides of this equipment that really
are where the threats may emerge and how they'll persist
even if we do a valiant effort of combating the
(38:08):
huaweies and ztes and smaller companies that are throughout the
smaller component supply chains. But beyond that, I think we
need to look to the FCC and to the corresponding
National security enterprise to validate that these supply chains are
at risk and to take actions to ban their capacity
to sell into the US market, either at the component
(38:30):
level or at the.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Original equipment manufacturer level.
Speaker 8 (38:34):
And we just had a case with Routers where the
Texas Attorney General has brought a case against TP Link.
I think is the company that they singled out, but
I think it's a category that is rife with Chinese backed,
Chinese influence, Chinese dependent actors that pose a severe threat
through our supply chain and to personal data.
Speaker 5 (38:57):
Nathan, if you can hang with us through the break,
I want to get into you another great piece up
at Human Events talking about what China is doing in
and around Latin America, which goes back, frankly to the
rare earths that are the building block for so much
of these tech devices that you're talking about. More impossibly,
we got quick message from our sponsors, the lovely people
over at Birch Gold, where you can buy gold and
(39:19):
get free silver.
Speaker 7 (39:20):
That's right.
Speaker 5 (39:21):
For every five thousand dollars purchase from Birch Gold Group
this month in advance of Veterans Day, they will send
you a free patriotic silver round that commemorates the Godsden
and American flags. Gold is up over forty percent since
the beginning of this year, and Birch Gold can help
you own it by converting an existing IRA or four
oh one k into attack.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
Sheltered ira and physical gold.
Speaker 5 (39:40):
They'll even send you free silver honoring our veterans on
qualifying purchases, and if your current or former military Birch
Gold has a special offer just for you. They are
waiving custodial fees for the first year on investments of
any amount with an A plus rating with the Better
Business Bureau and tens of thousands of happy customers, many
of which are warm listeners. I encourage you to diversify
your savings into gold. Text ban Into nine eight nine
(40:00):
eight nine eight for a free infocate and to claim
your eligibility for free silver with qualifying purchase before the
end of the month. Again texpan Into nine eight nine
eight nine eight. Do it today. We're gonna have Nathan
still joining us after the break. But Warren posse this
China tech company the sort of weird sheltering of them
pretending to the American entities. I remember it was in
the first Trump administration they added about twenty or so
(40:23):
Chinese companies sanctioned them to the entity list because they
were tied in with China's military, the PLA. They are
essentially part of that military civil fusion, and I believe
it was over a quarter of them actively had US
based dc K Street Base Washington, lobbyists representing them, helping
them get not just you know, meetings with your officials,
(40:45):
but get their devices into your houses. So you want
to talk about the enemy within, maybe that's the theme
of today's show. I got a list for you, President Trump,
Cash mattell everyone's we'll.
Speaker 7 (40:56):
Be right back.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
Use your host, Stephen K. Bam.
Speaker 5 (41:07):
You're back in the war room, where we're obviously at
the tip of the spear when it comes to China's
economic warfare, information warfare, technological war for media warfare, take
your pick, a lot of modifiers you could put on
that word warfare. We are, after all the war room,
but the sort of I think, in some ways almost
kinetic warfare they got going down in Latin America, at
(41:27):
least on the rare earth front, you know, plowing just
wild resources, cash, personnel, buying off mayors.
Speaker 7 (41:34):
It's truly insane.
Speaker 5 (41:35):
And Nathan, you've also got a great piece up in
Human Events Denver. We can flash it on screen if
you want to sort of walk us through. You have
some really specific examples of the Chinese capture going on
down there, but also what the Pentagon can do about
it absolutely.
Speaker 8 (41:52):
So in Peru, we have a massive Chinese megaport and
that port's set to supplant the Panama Canal. And the
Trump administration has done a great job of recognizing the
threat of Chinese influence and control at the Panama Canal,
but China's already steps ahead and trying to have a
plan to circumvent even if the Trump administration wins out
(42:16):
in the Panama Canal. And the port of Tronka in
Peru is a big piece of that Chinese plan, and
that path is being paved by a mayor in Lima
who's set to try to run to be president of Peru,
who is in China's pocket. And that type of subnational
influence is the exact playbook that we see them trying
(42:38):
to cultivate their United Front, trying to get foreigners to
carry their water and do their bidding, whether that's in
the United States and the K Street lobbyists, or whether
that's in places like Lima, Peru.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
But the plan doesn't just stop there.
Speaker 8 (42:52):
The progress that they've made has also been expanded into
Brazil and they have a bioceanic railway that's intended to
connect to that port in north of Lima and connect
it to all the productive economic resources in Peru in
Brazil to allow China Brazilian trade to flourish and to
(43:14):
supplant not only the trade that's moving through the Panama Canal,
but also to allow Brazilian exports to China to supplant
American exports and to take market share from American farmers.
So when we look at the Denton soybean exports and
the dent and sorghum exports, it's directly tied to these
actions that China is taking in Latin America that are
(43:35):
also getting positioned with control over these key infrastructures to
be better able to listen and disrupt through operations in
our hemisphere and projecting power into the United States. So
it's hard to overstate the nature of this threat. It's economic,
it is hard security, and that's why it's encouraging that
we hear and we sense that there's going to be
(43:57):
a new national defense strategy that places some emphasis on
hemispheric security and getting right our relations in Latin America
and coming to battle with China and their increasing presence.
It's not just a bit about the Panama Canal. And
it's even not just about winning over a subnational influence
in Lima, it's the entire hemisphere. And it's directly tied
(44:18):
to the way that the Chinese Communist Party is able
to have unfettered access into the United States, able to
send in fentanyl imports into the United States, and able
to subvert our social and economic order.
Speaker 5 (44:31):
Now, I was told for how many months by the
media that by shutting down USAID were destroying America's soft power. Meanwhile,
China has been running roughshod over virtually every country, supplying
them with meaningful infrastructure, meaningful ports, meaningful things that they
of course then see as you sort of outlied. Is
this a chance for the Trump administration to sort of
(44:53):
redefine what American soft power actually looks like in the
context of combating malign PRC and fluents.
Speaker 8 (45:01):
Absolutely, And there's this clear defensive measures that we need
to be taking. We should be neutering and neutralizing actors
who are acting on behalf of China's interests. At the
same time, we should be taking an offensive approach to
our allies and partners in the region and the folks
who want to work with us, who want to expand
their market share in the United States who want to
collaborate with economic security actors, and I think we have
(45:25):
plenty of options in Latin America, but we have to
be serious about and we have to prioritize it the
right way.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
It can't just be an afterthought and we wake up.
Speaker 8 (45:33):
One day and we have this massive threat that's building
out in places like this port in Peru. We need
to be actively working and we need to bring our
private sector as well. So China comes in and has
a bundled set of offerings that they're very happy to
lose money on to gain long term strategic positioning. We
may not be able to compete with the same dollar
(45:54):
and cents of that package, but the American brand, American security,
and access to the American market is a very compelling
offer and one that I think if prioritize the right way,
wins out against China.
Speaker 5 (46:07):
And Nathan, just give us one more minute to sort
of summarize everything you were talking about in the last block.
Is there anything that people can do right now to
make sure that the companies that they have in their
homes that they're using, that they're not being back channeled
or routed back to China.
Speaker 8 (46:24):
Yeah, absolutely, I think you want to look to make
sure that your devices are from Western produced carriers, that
your telecommunications providers are complying with FCC certification requirements, and
you want to track closely where the SCC makes updates
to their covered list so their national security authorities are
(46:46):
able to identify and protect American consumers and businesses from
clear and obvious threats from the likes of Chinese router
and fixed wireless access companies, those that supply Huawei zte,
and then also that enter the US market at the
component level. So looking for companies like Quektel and Fibocom,
(47:08):
which have been highlighted by the China House Select Committee
as potential threats, would be a good starting place. So
those types of module and component providers, and then obviously
the Huawei is etes and others who may be attacked
or attended to the FCC cover list.
Speaker 5 (47:26):
Nathan, and people want to follow you and keep up
to date with what you got going on. Where can
they go to do that?
Speaker 4 (47:31):
FDD dot Org Foundation for the Defensive Democracies.
Speaker 7 (47:35):
Thank you, sir for joining us.
Speaker 5 (47:37):
Thank Nelly, you mentioned the Congressional Committee on what is
It the subcommittee on the Chinese Communist Party. I don't
even care to really remember their name because I have
a major bone to pick with them, not just because
one of the main Republicans on there, he himself has
caught up in a bunch of Chinese influence ops. He
participated in an event with the US Heartland China Association,
(47:59):
the formo organization responsible for trying to get American lawmakers
to allow China to buy farmland here in the United States.
So that's a non starter for me personally.
Speaker 7 (48:10):
But they're just weak.
Speaker 5 (48:11):
Instead of investigating and putting out reports about these companies
for consanction, them pull them off the stock exchange.
Speaker 7 (48:19):
Do something. I'm so tired of this passive voice. You know,
the tweets that we saw.
Speaker 5 (48:25):
Oh, we wouldn't have known that the FBI was spying
on us if it weren't for these brave What do
you mean, do you live under a rock? It's absolutely wild.
This China Committee is a complete joke. Just do something
about it for once, instead of tweeting about it. We
already know we're the war room posse. We're not like
you know, the MSNBC crowd.
Speaker 7 (48:45):
Which is is a little slow they operate on maybe
halftime speed.
Speaker 5 (48:49):
We're on two times speed, at least here in the
war room until next time.
Speaker 7 (48:54):
Thank you guys for joining me.
