Speaker 1 (00:11):
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another episode of Real
Time Crime. I'm your host Leo Lamar and I have
with me often times. Dmitri. Dmitri, Hello, how are you
doing today? I'm doing well, do you. It's nice to
see you again. You know, I'd like to pretend that
we don't talk in the week between these podcasts, but
we do it. We text each other and there's just
so much ship going on in the world that it's NonStop.
But it's nice to see you again. Why why did
(00:32):
you say it like that, it's nice to see you
like you made it something like I'm a fifth cousin
twice removed, so good to see you again at the
family I said, but it's nice to see you again
because we made text during the week, but now it's
nice to see your face, is what I meant. I
would never say that to a fifth cousin twice removed.
Thank you? Yeah, we don't. Actually I don't even know
what that is. No me neither. That's not even related.
(00:55):
I think I also have a special visitor here from London.
Oh I I imported him. Um and and there's been
no no one's wondering why he's duct taped his hands
behind his back, and that's correct. Um. I mean we
did have a contraption that may have been like that,
but it was like attached to the bed. Um uh No, Okay,
(01:17):
we don't need to get into that. But what what
I'd like to get into real quick before we move on,
is this is really like I think people that are
listening or picking up on the suit, this is moving
real fast. And I hope you hear you you have
headphones on. It's not like he's listening right now. I know,
but he's sitting across from me. But but for real,
you traveled, then you went and met his parents, then
you came then you went to New York, and he
(01:39):
came in and now he's in l A. Like, I'm
not making assumptions. Okay, it's been almost two months, which
I think is a very reasonable amount of time to
have been to five different countries together and have met
each other. Well, I've met his parents and siblings and
that's that. And now he's in l A. And it's
(01:59):
so weird. Be he can't find his passport, so oh
sure that happened. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know
where it went. It's gonna be really hard for him
to go home. Um, do you want to come say hi? Oh? Oh?
Also let me just say this really quickly. Keep them on?
Yeah he um does look possibly exactly like the dinner spindlers,
so we're not sure who's swindling who here? Um, babe,
(02:22):
you want to say hi? What's up? My Timeslin's ruled
over the shop. Yeah, all of the show, they are guys,
glasses on, looking good? Are you wearing your glasses because
you're going not to look for engagement rings? He says,
did you wear your glasses because you're going out to
look for engagement rings? And I thank you, Adam. That's
(02:45):
been our time today with you. Um okay, So anyway
back to crimes that aren't me stealing someone's passport. You guys,
we've got a couple of cute hot topics today. We've
got two married teachers accused of I'm awful sexual relations
with a student, Florida teams posting videos of a party
in a mansion they broke into. One dead in a
fatal alligator attack in South Carolina. And then of course
(03:09):
we're gonna round it out with the Glenn Maxwell case
because we can't get enough. And also joining us today.
It's one of my dear friends, one of the most hilarious, beautiful,
fierce women I've ever met. She is a star. You've
probably already seen her on TikTok. She's got over a
(03:30):
million followers there. She's filming an indie feature right now.
She had her first special on Peacock TV. She owns
two comedy clubs. She is just incredible, beautiful, smart, talented, funny.
I don't have enough good things to say about her,
besides the fact that she's also extremely fashionable. I have
with me and my friend today jogging summers. Hi, Leah,
(03:53):
I'm so happy to be here. You are such a star.
I do have two comedy clubs, and that's why happens.
So you don't marry for low Yeah, Adam, you gotta go.
I have to open to comedy clubs. So next wait,
this is so incredible. First of all, you're what are
(04:14):
you wearing today? Let's just start there, Melay today you
just listen like wed jeeks in the house. I just
need you like I've gained like fifteen pounds, your skins glowing,
and then you get here the British accent every day
British that look, there's no sorry to meet you to
(04:41):
do something you and I wanted to say there was
no dumping Adam. Okay, that's not on the table. No, no, no,
we're never dumping Adam. He's married to me now for life. Okay.
Well it's sounds scary, but let's let's make it a
little less creepy. But stuck with the same theme. How's
that back in your cage? Okay? Um, so any way, yeah,
just okay, chow Yang. People always like to know when
(05:04):
I bring guests on how we know each other. And
I know I'm gonna ask that normal question. I asked,
have you guys ever hooked up emotionally? But the sex
was good? You know? There you go? So, um, yes,
this is actually the first time we're having a conversation,
(05:25):
and uh, I think it's going. Okay. I gotta say
she has never introduced someone with the glow and the
pomp and circumstance that she that she introde you with
like she doesn't she and she didn't speak of anybody
as highly as she just introud you, Oh my god,
because I know how to eat and we have our
(05:48):
first social equip Let me just put that time, Um, Anyway,
you guys, chaw Yang and I met through standing up.
We met five four years years three three years ago.
We met three years ago. Do we meet at the
Hollywood Comedy Yeah? Actually she was my clients just you know,
(06:12):
I'm kidding. She came to the club to run her set,
to work on her set. I came to the club
to strip emotionally. M m, that's true. For some reason,
I gave you my money. Oh no, And she actually
didn't been on there. She just looks so outstanding, even
like she was just like writing things for the next joke,
(06:34):
the next set. I remember we were doing that a
two in a row. See what she's saying is that
I was funny. Thank you. It's understandable. And and my
how we've grown since then so much, you aren't we
we grew up so fast. We grew up really fast,
do you not? So you're filming an indie right now?
(06:57):
Not comedy right, it's just sci fi film, like a
horrid woman sci fi. It's not a horror film. It's
like a very cord of woman sci fi film. That's
kind of funny. I pay this the agent agent. Then
I just arrested the main character. I was able to
solve some problems because the men little functions they didn't
woman to solve problems. This isn't real life, I know, right.
(07:21):
That's why it's gonna be good because it's both so real.
The girls are very smart in the movie that you
guys are kind of dumb. Oh so okay, thank god,
finally a movie that gets it right. Alright, So, Dmitri,
(07:46):
unless you have any questions you want to ask her,
We're gonna hop right into the hot topics for today. Okay,
our first hot topic for today. Two married teachers accused
of unlawful sexual relations with the student. Okay, so apparently
Alan and Deborah Sylvester both faced fell any charges of
unlawful sexual relations. The prosecutor says that the alleged victim
(08:07):
was a high school student who was sixteen or over
but under eighteen. So God, thanks for making that difficult.
Whoever wrote that article? Why yeah, why couldn't they just
say the student was seventeen? Because I think they do
that just to make it sound bad worse than it is.
Not that it's not bad. I'm just saying, like I
(08:28):
think they have they have to sixteen or older because
they don't want it to sound super super weird, but
then they had to keep it under eighteen to show
that it was. But just say seventeen. But seventeen is legal, No,
in some states definitely not with a teacher. Is that?
Is that what the law says. Law says it's legal
for everyone, but a teacher is seventeen legal? I think
(08:52):
in the South, I think fourteen is legal. And this
clearly there's a problem because there's an article. But I
will say there's there's been plenty of stories, sadly where
a teacher has had an affair with the student, but
I think this may be the first where it was
a married couple. Right, so it's a threesome. But let's
just take this one step further. He was allegedly consensual
(09:12):
sexual intercourse lude, fondling or touching or sawdomy with a
person who was a student role at the school where
Alan worked. Allen was a science teacher at the high school,
while his wife, Debra top Matt at the middle school
in Wamego. If convicted, they face anywhere from thirty one
to thirty six months of jail time, during which time
they will be having threesomes with their jailer. Real quick.
(09:35):
Is this to choose your own adventure by the way,
lude fondling or touching or sodomy and anywhere from thirty
one to thirty six months. So really you can kind
of choose where you want this to go. Yeah, I'm
sorry if you're gonna add or sawdomy, let's me know
that someone did anal I just why would you add
it if it didn't happen? Is everyone okay? Is this
(09:59):
super awkward? Okay? Um? First of all, would you sue
the school if this was your child knowing they actually
consented to having sex with the two teachers? I wouldn't,
And mean is that my child is school? M m, Yeah,
(10:25):
you don't want them to be a loser by the
time they get to college. They have to. I don't
have a small penis's you know. Yeah. But also the
teacher and the so what do we know as a
student a male or a female? It didn't say if
it was a male or a female. The only thing
that's interesting to me is that it's like really teaching
kids to have sex with their professors before they get
(10:47):
to college, you know. And I think that's where it
gets super weird. But they were both teachers not that
that makes also it does. It doesn't seem like it.
It says an inappropriate relationship, which to me sounds like
a threatle Like, it doesn't sound like this is just
a one time thing. Yeah, I think they just got caught,
but they've been going up for a long time. Hot,
(11:10):
I mean so not you don't. But we don't know
what these teachers are like, Like they could be they
could be fucking losers. And I'm not condoning it to
begin with, but I'm just saying, like we're saying, oh,
general think you said, oh that means my kids cool?
But maybe not. Maybe these are two loser teachers. But
(11:30):
but if they're older, that makes it cool. Like I remember,
I used to have a thing for authority, So like
when I was in college in high school, I would
say that, Um, let me go back in time. Dmitri's
a dad, Oh tell you and your mom. Um. I'm
the only one here without kids, so I probably should
(11:52):
tread lightly. However, I mean when I was in college
that there were definitely some questionable moments with professors than
them when I was in high school, I didn't have
any sexual relations with professors. Um, but I will say
that the relationship lines got really harry, like inappropriate, Like
(12:15):
I shouldn't have been in after hours at my teacher's
office for that long by myself, and we shouldn't have
had each other's email addresses, especially during all times sending
emails back, and what was what were those conversations? But
I'm not upset. I'm just curious because you're like, well,
(12:36):
it wasn't inappropriate, but I was in their way too
long and we had each other's emails, so it leads
me to believe that there was some weird ship going on. Okay,
So now I'm an understanding why the person who wrote
this article added a lot of oars because it's so
embarrassing and awkward. But it could have been that. I mean,
who's to say, Um, I wasn't touched inappropriately, but was
I liked, did you hook up with your teacher? No,
(13:00):
but he did have a pet name for me ah
and oh m hm, and um, I may have College
is different, and we'll just leave it there. I don't
think we need to. I think this is exactly the
topic that we're talking about. Its different because you were
not you're not over sixteen and under eighteen. Okay, So
(13:22):
when I was in college, there was this one professor
who I always thought was hot. Point blank, I'm so
glad Adam's wearing headphones. Um, oh no, he just looked
right into my soul. Okay, Well, anyway, so there's this
one professor that I thought was really hot. He was
like more than the my age at this point. And
(13:43):
one semester in between the fall and spring semesters, I
was still in town and I hit him up and
I was like, hey, I'm downtown, are you around? And
we had each other's phone numbers, so that's already probably
red flag and and and he was like yeah, and uh.
(14:04):
He didn't drink alcohol, and at that I don't anymore either,
but at that time, oh boy, she was putting him down.
And he came and he met up with me, and
I was wasted, and I just wanted I think it's
like I just wanted, yes, like I just wanted to
know if he would come meet me. And then he
came and got me, and I was it was immediately
(14:24):
already too much and I was really nervous. And then
we went back to his place, like we made out,
and then um, it was like five am at this
point and then I it got to a point where
I was gonna be like either we're having sex or
not sort of thing, and I got very nervous and
I just pretended to be so wasted that I needed help.
(14:47):
Like even Dmitry is so sad to meet daughters right three.
Oh boy, So I'm not set. It's just at first
I want to just you know that we were recording this,
so five minutes ago when I said, as you hook
up your teacher from you said no, and then you're
like cut to five minutes, lady like. And then we
made out, went back to his place and I was like,
are we having a text or not? So I'm sorry.
(15:08):
Officer was like under oath, I mean, I think we're
being honest here. Okay, So you were honest, you came clean.
I texted he went to the gym at like six am,
and I texted a girl and I just like felt
his bone against my back the whole night. He was
just like heavy breathing and I was like, oh my god,
I didn't sleep a wink. I was just like this
like paralyzed that. I texted her was like come get
(15:30):
me right now, and she picked me up and she's
like what happened, And I was like, oh boy, um,
and I did have a class with him the next
semester that I did not go to, but I didn't
receive night. Okay, so we clearly know what side of
the conversation you fall on here. Okay, so controling, you
(15:51):
said you would not sue the school, Well, it depends.
If it's my son. I'm very happy it's my daughter.
I'll be yeah, I'll be sucking somebody up. Yeah, daughters
are precious. Angel. But the sudden, we just want him
to like be a stud. Yeah, I wanted to stud.
I want him to just that, you know, do you know?
(16:12):
Do it? And also like if I was a teacher,
I'll never ever cook as a student ever, Like I
have a standard as student as I broke you know
a Yeah. And honestly, like, who wants to have sex
with someone who's on experience? That sounds so horrible? No? No,
Like also, why couldn't they just role play? Why can't
(16:34):
Allan and Deborah? Yeah, why can't they just wanted them
to play teacher, one of them play student and figure
it out, you know what I mean? It's like crossing
the boundary to where you finally bring a student home.
I'm also so curious to know how it all went down,
like how did they find how did the parents find out?
Like how did this come out with? Where did they
get adventurous and they started doing it in the classroom
(16:55):
after hours or something like I need more information. This
is key is it's kind of bizarre, and it's kind
of like, to your point, why did they'd like go
out to a bar and find someone and say let's go.
You could, we're gonna pretend you're a student or whatever.
But to actually do this, like, you know this is illegal,
you know this is technically still a minor. And so
(17:17):
how do I just forbidden fruit? Dmitri? Don't you know?
That's why I tried to become to my professor. You
want what you can't have? Yeah, which was an all
which I got. They got six months of jail time. Yeah,
I mean it's not even that much time, Like they're fine.
(17:37):
Speaking of teens, in the South, Florida, teens posted a
video of partying in a mansion that they broke in, So,
first of all, good on them. Also, gen Z just
does not give any fox. They just do not think
like they'll just get away with anyone anything. The owner
of this eight million dollars or Florida mansion was rans
(18:00):
act by a group of invading teens during a wild
Saturday night party, and they want them to be prosecuted
to the fullest extent of the law. The family was
a husband, wife and their two small kids were out
of town when cops called to ask if she was
aware of a party in progress in her home. Hello,
l and so. Authorities first began investigating the situation after
(18:22):
receiving suspicious nine one hang up calls from the address,
which does already so stupid, Like these idiots are broken
to the house and now they're calling nine on one
and they're like ding dong ditching one. It's like like, hello,
we'd like to be caught, okay. So, according to the
police reports, the teens ransacked the housewhild blasting music, boozing,
(18:43):
even setting up a boxing match in the living room.
Cops said they also made off with a trove of
luxury goods and tried on clothing they found while riffing
through closets and drawers. The homeowners said they made off
with a signed Payton Manning football and a bottle of
wine worth well who keeps a funk about the bottle
of wine Mighty Peyton Manning football loose. The homeowner theorized
(19:04):
that the introduce saw that the house was up for
sale and target it for for their rager. So it
wasn't an Airbnb. I guess that's been made clear. Um,
I don't know, Uh, would you guys put a first
sales sign up on your house after hearing this story?
(19:25):
Where do you feel like it targets you? I mean,
I I think it's it's a matter of that that's
that's ship's gonna happen for sale sign or not, Like
if you're not there, like they could figure the ship
out now. I mean, the sales don't work on force
sales sign and they can just go on Zealo and
see what's for. So so I don't think that's necessarily issue.
I think it's just you happen to leave your house
(19:46):
vulnerable and these kids went in and had some fun
with it. Okay, alright, So then I mean, this is
all kind of insane. But if I walked into a
house party and didn't and didn't realize that the house
didn't belong to these people or anyone, that they knew
would I leave or would I stay? And I mean
(20:11):
it depends on even there's a hot guys. So if
you went a new house and it was you didn't
know whose it was, but there were hot guys there,
nice bottles of wine and stuff, you're like, all right,
I can deal with this. But but you wouldn't call
nine one one and hang up right. No, I'm just
trying to get how guys dronk and take them with
me and then just take the guys and then I
(20:32):
will be in trouble. I would. They probably were calling
nine one one because they were like, Hi, there's an emergency.
There aren't enough hot guys here. Is there a hot
male E m t? Ukinson? Like? Sorry, not unavailable right now,
And that's why they kept calling nine on one until
they got a hot male E m t to the house.
So interesting. Isn't even dumber than or smarter? Honestly, you know,
(20:55):
it's like it's not a doctor, but it's close enough.
I mean, nowadays, who knows you very well could get
a response for that. Yeah, I mean these are just kids,
idiot kids, but they did. I think as long as
they give everything back, who cares well? Except this woman
wants to prosecute them to the full extent of the law.
I know, not having sex and her husband's not working
(21:16):
on her and she's relaxed. Uh so maybe she's upset
that she missed the party. Is that what you're saying.
I'm just thinking that if she's married with two kids,
her life is living hell because I've been there, so
I understand why she's going to be sucking up. Yeah,
you know, I understand her. Right now, what if someone
(21:36):
broke into one of your comedy clubs and had a
rage for there, Well, don not press. I'm getting even
getting that good pressed out, like you know what, It's okay,
you're miserable. But if nothing happened out, how to find
out the what's trying to do to get it recovered? Mhm.
The problem is unless this place was was ransacked beyond
like repair like damage, damage was done. Now she's bringing
(21:59):
up like you're trying for sales. She's trying to sell
on an eight million dollar mansion in Florida, and now
by prosecuting the folis and the law, this is going
out in the news that this house was broken into,
which isn't really something you look for when you looking
to buy a house. Is that the neighborhood, is that
the security on the house, like that's that that would
be a drawback to wanting to buy that house. So
she's kind of shooting herself in the foot there. Her
(22:20):
property evaluation is couldn't half mhm yeah. So honestly, I'll
just get just give her back the Peyton Manning football
and let's call it a day. Mm hmm. You know.
I mean, look, it's it's stupid, Like if my kids
did that, if they broke into a mansion and through
a razor, and I would obviously be upset. But you know,
(22:43):
there are things that that kids do, and these kids
were clearly a bit entitled and went did it. But
are there worst things kids could do? Are there words
things kids could do then break into a house or too?
But here's what I have to say. I do think
(23:05):
if someone broke into my house and had a party
and blah blah blah blah, I would be a frustrated
because it's like it's when someone broke into my car
and stole the air bag off my steering well, I
felt very violated. I was like, oh, someone was sitting
in the seat in my car. You know, it's like
do they have bed bugs? Like where have their pants been?
Like I just I have like a cleanliness issue with it.
(23:25):
I'm like, pay for my cleaning feet and give me
back my fucking football and we're good and you're you're
you're just idiots. And also like tag my house because
I'm trying to sell it. Yeah, a tag on it
is TikTok tag on Instagram. Let people know, and like,
maybe have your parents throw in a couple of mill
just I think some sort of some sort of payback. Yes,
(23:48):
I think prosecuting kids to the full extent of the
law for stupid kids stuff. I think, to me, that's extreme.
I don't know that I would do that. Wait, speaking
of which, and I know this is a weird thing
to say this just in R. Kelly just got a
thirty year sentence. Whoa thank you, Adam. Um he's just
(24:11):
across the room. Yes, I was trying to get tonight. Um, Dmitri,
I'm out upset. That was just a bizarre I didn't
see it coming, but he will see it coming. But nope, okay,
we're good. This is see this is what happens anyway. Um,
(24:33):
I think I was funnier when I wasn't in love,
you know, it was just like I'm boring. I think
that I was talking about this is a whole, this
is there's untapped real estate here. Yeah yeah whatever. Um Anyway,
I think the moral of these two stories that people
in the South are really bored. Yeah speak just like yeah,
(24:54):
speaking of but also also I just want to say
there was one time that my sister threw an um
so uncool. I'm like, what's that thing called? When you
have a party and everyone's welcome and open house party
and my dad sleeps like a rock, like he could
sleep through natural disaster. He would just get like taken
out to see. He was upstairs sleeping, snoring away during
(25:19):
the party. When the cops came to break it up.
They came upstairs and like, uh, sir, and like they
asked my sister. They're like, um, is there a parent
or guardian home? And they thought they were going to
get her and she was like yeah, actually, She's like
he's sleeping. Can you keep it down? Don't wake daddy.
He was just upstairs sleeping, and there they were like,
did you give your daughter permission to have a party.
(25:41):
He was like huh, I guess, so um, yeah, I
don't know. You know, just get some cool parents, you guys,
stop being so bored and and speaking of yet again
the South. This episode is sponsored by your cousin dot com.
There's there's one did in a fatal alligator attack in
(26:02):
South Carolina from a retention pond near Myrtle Beach. I
don't know, that's like really sad that someone got eaten
by an alligator in a retention pond. It's not even
like a huge body of water. It's like a man
made like little lake situation. An alligator do it in
a nice spot. Yeah, at least at least to be
(26:24):
a space that wasn't created by humans, you know, at
least it's gonna be created by God. So this one
person was killed in an alligator attack and Myrtle Beach.
First of all, that was your first mistake going to
Myrtle Beach. I don't know if you guys know this,
but Myrtle Beach is also known as Murder Beach. Not joking.
I used to spend every spring break there. That's where
kids from uv A where I went to college, went,
(26:46):
and it was just like a big ship show for
a week and there are a lot of crimes. Authorities
responded to nine one one calls determined that an alligator
snatched a neighbor who was near the edge of the pond.
I'm not sure it's the alligator's faults, like you're I mean,
this is like dangling a carrot. Officials said. The victim's
body was safely recovered and the alligator responsible was found
(27:08):
and humanely euthanized. They make it sound like a like
a dog bit a kid or something. Sorry, safely recovered
the dead. The victim's identity has not been released, and
infictial official investigation into the exact cause of death remains
under way. I think we got the cause of death down,
guys case I'm not a genius, but it's drowning and
(27:31):
being fucking chomped on. Why do you think people just
continue to live near alligator infested waters. I think it's
very scary. If you're on a period, you're on near
in the water, you're gonna guess you, Yeah, don't live
in your alligators or or snakes or or sharks, especially
(27:52):
if you're on your period. They're just Also, I do
have a feeling that was a man. No offense they're
just as jaw being said earlier, they're just dumber m alligator.
I don't know. Well, I also feel like women tend
to be a little more to say, a woman is
not going to go stand next to her retention upon
(28:13):
knowing that there's alligators and they're most likely a guy.
It probably thinks he's tough enough, he's gonna go do it.
But I agree with you, like there's there's not there's
enough stories out there about alligators attacking people, are killing them, stuves.
You don't need to be hanging out where you know
that they are, and those places are where they are.
(28:34):
They're fast, they're strong, they don't live by any moral rules, right,
So I don't know. I'm not blaming the victim here,
but funck if I live there, if I was down
in Florida. I have been in Florida, and I have
been in place does that have alligators And it's like
I'm not going for a stroll next to the pond. Yeah.
I mean, do you think the county should be liable
(28:54):
for not building a barrier between the wildlife and the
property where the person died? Personally? I don't think so.
I think holding the county responsible for this person's error
and decision is like blaming a bar for an alcoholic
getting alcohol poisoning. It's like, no, pretty sure, no one
(29:17):
forced them to drink that much like you know what
you were doing as long as you have a sign up, right, then,
by the way, this is America. We're going to complain
about whatever we can on both sides of the thing,
because had they done that right, the people would have
gone to the homeowners association have been like, now there's
a fence blocking this pond, right, this doesn't look good.
(29:38):
I don't like this that people would have complained about that.
There's no way to win this. You put up a
sign and you've got to use your best judgment and
be like, there's alligators in there, don't go stand next
to it. Yeah, I mean aesthetically, I would rather have
a dead body wash up than a fence around it
because you can remove the dead body goes away. Right.
You don't look at your kitchen window and constantly see
a dead body because most likely it's dragged back into
(29:59):
the I don't know, are you guys surprised we don't
hear more about alligator attacks considering they're like rampant in
the South. I feel like there's a lot. I feel
like I've seen a lot of it, lady, And I
actually just saw one where somebody caught a fourteen foot
alligator with a rope. Yeah, that was just a story
(30:23):
recently about that. I feel like there's been a lot
of alligator stories, so I actually feel like we've getting
a pretty fair share. I'm not surprised. What is the
difference bean an alligator and a crocodile? And why don't
I know one is in the hook the movie and
the other is not right crocodiles or actors? Yeah, okay,
I got it. Yeah, what is the difference? Do you know?
(30:48):
Dmitri are reptile expert? Are you good doing it right now?
I could do, but I'm just thinking it, says um
the difference to alligators. Alligators are black or gray on
top with a cream colored underside. It cannot just be fashioned.
They possess a U shaped snout and are smaller and
more timid than crocodiles. Wow, So if alligators doing all
this and they're more timid, crocodiles are larger, more aggressive,
(31:10):
and are mostly green or brown and have a snout
in the shape of a v. Yes, so we prefer
to wear alligator, right, because it's a bigger accomplishment. Yeah, no, wait, no,
no it's not. No, it's just better colors. Green doesn't
look great on me anyway. Um, how are you doing
(31:32):
over there? I just don't feel like, you know, it's
a man made of pound. I feel like the alligator
wants to commit a suicide. So he just took somebody
and so he can die. That's a good point. It's
very possible. How can I get out of this ship
hole pond? I got an idea. He's like, I'm so
fucking bored. They imported me here. There's nothing to do.
(31:54):
I know, let me just murder this person so I
can just be put down. Where do you guys fall
on this? Because I saw you. I don't want to
bring up the story because it was actually way more
disturbing than this. But there was a story about an
alligator killing someone years ago, and what they did was
they went into the pond afterward, and they were looking
to recover, and they were trying to find so they
were euthanizing or killing some of the alligators looking for
(32:16):
the correct one, or at least this one. They killed
the youth, and I humanly euthanized this one. What's your
feeling on that, because that's what these things do, right,
That's how they eat, that's what they do. So it's
not the same as a person committing a murder on
a person because they know that that's wrong. Right. This
is an animal that does what an animal does, and
(32:37):
a person went into an area where the animals that
do that do that? Do you think these animals should
be euthanized afterwards? How did they find the right one? Like,
that's the weird thing. Do they x ray all their
stomachs to see someone like a hand waving from I
think they just kill them and cut them open. Oh,
so they killed them first then just determine whether they're
(32:59):
not the right one. Seems like a lot to just
take them all in for X rays. I mean how
long it takes to get an X ray? Yeah? Did
I do? I mean you have to get an authorization
from your doctor and horrible. So when they're open, they're
not who we need the skin? Right, they make sure
(33:19):
they're still able to make boots, don't worry. That's the
key question. Now, if you have a purse, right, and
you found out that person belongs to an alligator that
killed someone. Where are you on that one? Are you
still keeping that purse? But the other things like that,
does the alligator have a license on it? That's like,
I am willing to donate my body to science and
bags I love. See. That's what's nice about this podcast
(33:47):
is the only place where you can read, you can
discuss the story. Well, you know about someone being killed
by an alligator and we're just no offense to deceased.
But we talked about some real bad stories on this thing.
It's nice to have a story where we can have
a little fun with it. Hey, guys, Oh sorry, Johne,
go ahead, Oh I say anything. I'm just thinking about
(34:08):
the bet um you guys. Just a reminder. R Kelly
thirty years so I think he'd hanging out with those teachers.
And that's pretty big. It's a pretty big tangent actually,
I mean, before we cut the break. R Kelly sentence
to thirty years in prison in sex trafficking case. Kelly
(34:29):
preyed upon children and young women for his own sexual
gratification for decades. Prosecutors said he was sent Yeah, he was.
He was sentenced to thirty years in printed prison, months
after he was convicted on all nine accounts against him
in a high profile sex trafficking case. Let's see, Um,
(34:49):
you degraded me, You humiliated me and broken my spirit,
said a woman who went by Jane Doe. Number two,
so there's also number one. I wish I would die
because of how you degraded me. The victim recalled an
incident where she was forced to perform oral sex on
the music star after you played bass basketball in a
car full of your friends. He played basketball on a
(35:10):
car full of friends. I mean that's disgusting. So you
not only do you have to suck his dick after
he's just worked out, like you have to be in
a car filled with smelly guys. Okay, that's been our show,
ladies and gentlemen for good. What will be interesting is
when we come back for the break. Right, we're talking
(35:31):
about Lynne Maxwell, who sex trafficking, trafficking. She just got
her sentence, So why don't we see how those two compare.
The sentences between those two, I mean, this is wild.
He was convicted of racketeering and violating the Man Act Ironic,
the law of that bands transporting people across state lines
for any immoral purpose. Also, Glenn Maxwell was sentenced for that.
(35:54):
The sentence was more than twenty five years. Federal prosecutors
that sought in a letter blah blah blah blah. Um.
So you guys, I'm obviously just reading this in real
time because this is the show Real Time Crime. He
continued his crimes and avoided punishment for them for almost
thirty years and must now be held accountable. Damn. You know.
This is kind of like with the Michael Jackson's situation
(36:14):
where people like, can you separate the artist from the beast?
And in this what was our Kelly that that could
have an artist look remixed to? Ignition was a hit,
but it hits a little different knowing that during the
ignition and the car being started he was getting his
dick sucked immorally with all of his friends in the car.
(36:36):
I find that disgusting. I can't as suck the day
after sucking sports. It's not gonna happen though, Yep, I agreed,
even people know, but ill, yeah, I'm not gonna suck
your dick even after you get out of the shower,
let alone after you've played sports. I'm not sucking anyone's
(36:59):
stick is what I'm trying to say. Sorry, babe, m Yes, anyway, guys,
we'll be right back. Don't touch that nials. Stay safe.
We'll be back with the Glen Max wheelcase. Bom bom boma,
(37:26):
and we're back. Welcome back to Real Time Crime. I'm
your host, Lee Lamar, I have with me oftentimes Dmitri
and our incredible guest show, Young Summers. Today, guys, we're
headed into our main case right now. You have been
waiting for this news that no one has been able
to get into the courtroom to see. Glenn Maxwell was
finally sentenced to twenty years in prison for sex trafficking
(37:46):
a minor. Let me rephrase sex trafficking miners for Jeffrey Epstein.
So for those of you who've been living under a
rock and don't know what happened, let me round it
up for you. Glenn was a British social light and
friend slash girlfriend to ultra wealthy businessman Jeffrey Epstein. They
had a very weird on again, off again situation. If
(38:08):
you recall from the documentary, Epstein and Maxwell were accused
of an international sex trafficking scheme that stretched over decades.
And I'm sure if you haven't heard about Epstein Island,
well now you're about to. The long lasting sex trafficking
showed how the rich and powerful can avoid, at times
the consequences for their actions, including Prince Andrew who is
(38:29):
now longer who is no longer part of the royal
family and had to get his own legal counsel to
get out of the photos that were taken while he
was at Epstein Island. Uh. Donald Trump was there, you know,
pretty much everyone that you could think of. Prosecutors argued,
Maxwell and Epstein conspired to set up a scheme to
lure young girls into sexual relationships with Epstein from two
(38:52):
thousand and four in New York, Florida, New Mexico, and
the US Virgin Islands. For women who testified during the
trial said that Epstein abuse them when they were girls,
and that Maxwell facilitated the abuse and sometimes participated in it.
A Netflix stock called Filthy Rich takes a deep dive
into the ways Jeffrey Epstein and Glenne max will A
lured young girls. So in December, she was found guilty
(39:15):
of five of the six federal counts, three counts of
conspiracy to entice in individuals under the age of seventeen
to travel and interstate commerce with intent to engage in
a llegal sexual activity, one count of conspiracy to commit
sex trafficking of individuals under the age of eighteen, and
one count of sex trafficking of an individual under the
age of eighteen. She was found not guilty on one
(39:37):
charge of enticement of an individual under the age of
seventeen to travel with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity,
which actually makes no sense to me that she wasn't
found guilty on that one. And then on Tuesday, June
ak yesterday, if you're listening to this, it's very recent,
she was sentenced to twenty years in federal prison for
carrying out a year's long scheme with her lifelong confidant,
(40:00):
Afrey Epstein, to groom and sexual abuse underage girls. She's
sixty right now. She did not testify in her defense
during the trial late last year, which I actually also
think is interesting. She was sentenced to five years is
supervised release in a seven fifty thousand dollar fine, which
her attorney said she's unable to pay, which honestly makes
no sense to me because she was a socialite and
(40:21):
supposed to be super rich, like Okay, annadalthy. All of
a sudden, there are money always just disappears the guy
and I'm poor. How are you able to afford this
lawyer if you didn't have money, lots of money, the
judge said. She it's like, I'm sure that if we
follow the money as I always tell you to do,
she probably wired a ton of her money to offshore
accounts or other people before this all started. The judge
(40:44):
said she will be sent to a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut.
Prosecutors had asked the judge to sentence Maxwell to thirty
to fifty five years, and she only got twenty. She
had been detained since her arrest in July, so the
prosecutors give her. They said that she received credit for
two years already of time served, which means seems ludicrous.
(41:05):
Jurors deliberated for five full days before finding Maxwell guilty,
and I think that this is an interesting point to
make that at her sentencing, Judge Nathan said to the court,
Miss Maxwell is not punished in place of Epstein. She's
being punished for the role that she played. I mean,
no offense, but she should just be in jail for longer.
(41:28):
That's my opinion. I mean, some people think twenty years
is too harsh of a sentence. I don't think it's
harsh enough. What do you guys think. I think it's
too harsh. Her eighteen years and the one day, so
it's over eighteen but it's not too long. Ha ha.
(41:52):
But that's a social good. Thank you. Actually I agree
with Leah. Yeah, I don't think it's harsh ena. I
mean like when you bring children into it, it's just
like I can never think the sentence. The sentence is
never long enough in my opinion. Yeah, agreed. And this
is not because I have four kids. This is uh
(42:12):
I would if if I didn't, this would be my opinion.
Even outside of that, whenever someone an adult takes advantage
of a child, or of children or underaged people, it's
to me, it's one of the most disturbing things you
can do. And I don't have any problem. I don't
have any problem with extremely long sentences and punishment for
people like that, because those are people that you're ruining
(42:34):
their lives. You're they're they're not like forgetting about this.
It's not like because you've got sentence that baggage and
that torment that they carry is all of a sudden gone. Right.
You've taken someone that was still learning the world. And
I know we're talking about different ages here, but they're
still learning the world. There's and you you that's why
the groom people always grooming is too nice a word
for what they do, right, because they're basically mind warping
(42:57):
them into into doing things that they shouldn't or probably
wouldn't want to do. So do I have any problem
with long sentences? No? I think they should all be up.
The r Kelly thing, the the Smaxwell thing, and if
f Steen was still alive, I think he should have been.
I'm sure he would have been. But you know, the
only thing that that obsessed me about this beyond that
(43:18):
is I think she should have to take the stand.
I think she should have explained what she did. And
I think that this is not a cut and dry thing.
This was not oh Jeffrey and Glene like, what did
they do? There were a lot of people on that island,
and I don't care if I'm a fan of them.
I don't know who they are. But if I ended
up being a fan of them, I can remove myself
(43:39):
from that situation. If they were involved in this, I
think names should be named, and I think they should
be punished as well. Well. Dmitri, I know that you
were a fan of long sentences because you just spoke
for a very long time, but I do agree. The
other thing that I find interesting is that there's no
money being paid to victims. Did did you read that anywhere?
(44:04):
Because all I saw was the sell fine and I
don't think that's enough to split between four people, and
she doesn't have the money and blah blah blah, And
it doesn't say that any of them were awarded financial
um compensation for their um for their pain and suffering,
(44:25):
you know, and and also yeah, I mean it's like
and also like years of their life destroyed. I don't
I didn't read that anywhere. I could be wrong. Um.
If anyone else knows the answer, please let me know.
But I don't see that, And I don't know if
this would make them feel like justice was served. Also,
let's be honest, she's going to Danbury, Connecticut. That's basically
(44:47):
a mall. I'm not joking. Like Danbury, Connecticut is literally
like the widest like super like qute wealthy neighborhood They
have a huge mall there. It's known as a minimum
security jail for white color criminals. Like, she's just going
to be playing like Bocci and having momosas do we
think this is fair? She's basically going to do Epstein
(45:08):
Island without the island. I think she's the evil bitch.
I really think. So. You know, if I have a
rushy guy boyfriend and then I got out and ugly
that pussy become dry, how do KI go and the
you know Luba kid and do botox and work out
and keep the guy. I'm not gonna trying, you know,
(45:29):
group with some young girls ruin their lives so I
can be involved with this monster forever and be desired
and being power. She's just using them to make herself
like revalence. You know, it's just she's sucking. She's just
an evil bitch. I just think she's an evil Do
you think that she was just attracted to the money
(45:50):
and the lifestyle and the jet setting and the you know,
all these things, or do you think she was actually
interested in these young kids or do you think she
became interested because she wanted to be around the money
and that she's a obsessed this having control and having
power and the feeling importance. That's why she don't want
to do move herself in the image, and she do
(46:11):
whatever she came to be right next to Jeffrey to
enjoy the life, the money and the control. And then
she found out the best way for her to be
involved is keep impressing him with younger girls, prettier younger girls,
and she just keep doing it, so she didn't get
what she wants, and she she didn't able to learn.
I just think without her, Jeffrey wouldn't have excelltent man
(46:34):
so many girls because woman would trust a woman. Yes, yes,
And if Epstein didn't not kill himself, well, thank you do.
And he was also on trial for these crimes. Do
you think that she would have served a longer sentence,
a shorter sentence or the same sentence, And how long
(46:57):
do you think he would have gotten m I think
he should have been jail for like a hundred years
and she would be like fifteen. Because the one we
see his face, I think America will be so funthing serious.
They are really going to just not even making the example,
but just like give him what he deserves. And then
(47:19):
she would actually be equally astuv not but almost. I
think there would have been more that we would have learned,
and this case would have gotten a lot more depth
to it. So I think hers probably would have been
the same, potentially more. And I think he would have
had I mean, I don't know what the what the
rulings are on these things, so I'd like to say life,
(47:39):
but I don't know how these work. But I think
he would have had a lot more and I think
there would have been more that would have come out
that would have made her look even worse. I mean,
do you think you're going to hear more about celebrities
that were participating in these activities? Do you think that
we're gonna core cases in the future about them? Or
do you think everyone just signing NBA isn't paying off people?
(48:00):
I mean, what do I think? How do I see,
if you're smart, have everyone signed an NBA before you
have sex with that? That's That's not how we should
be running things right now. We should be. If there
were people involved, they should be they should be brought
out and and and and that should be exposed. There's
no amount of money that should just let people buy
their way out of stories. Listen. I'm sure you knew
(48:22):
it was wrong. Don't give me the I thought it
was just going to Roose Island and everybody, We're just
having fun. You knew it was wrong. So I think
beyond Prince Andrew, I think there's more people, obviously, and
I think they need to be named as well. Yes, Daddy, well,
but isn't that also what happened with Donald Trump was
(48:43):
that he had NDA, so no one could these young
people couldn't sue him, and and there were all these
like young women lawsuits and all these weird sexual encounters.
But what does that mean anymore? Right, It's like, don't
buy in front of Congress, but everyone's doing that. Don't
And I was little and somebody said, oh, like if
you were subpoena to speak in front of Congress, holy crap,
(49:04):
you gotta go. Now there's people just blowing that off.
The rules are out the window in this country now,
So who cares if there's an n d A. If
you want somebody to go down, then your name them.
Someone else will bail you out for breaking an n DA.
They'll pay your bill. Yeah, that makes sense. And do
you feel like if she appealed this that there would
be any chance she could win. I don't think so, Yeah,
(49:33):
I don't. I don't either. I think this is I
think there's got to be some big swing in a
case like this to be like, oh, Okay, she knew
about it, she was she was actively part of an
active participant. There's no way this wouldn't get overturned. I mean,
and I say that knowing full well that I've said
that before about things. I mean, there's like a million
(49:56):
things that we could talk about with this, but it's
just kind of like we've talked about it for I
just feel like this is open and shut. I think
she should be in jail for longer. She's disgusting, sick
human being. I mean, like, if you, if you could
sit down and ask her any question, what would it be?
(50:18):
Who else was there? Give me all that. That's the
only thing I want from this case. I want who
else is there? You want less than twenty years? Start
spilling you should you already have an infort. It's just
would you actually let her take some years off of
her jail sentence if she could give a bunch of names, Sure,
(50:42):
she's sixty whatever, give her fifteen years. What's gonna do.
At that point, she's probably gonna hurt herself playing pickleball
on that Dan Barry prison anyway, So, oh my, I
hurt myself playing pickaball the other day. I'm like, why
am I aging in dog ears? What is wrong with me? Okay,
before we wrap her today, any final thoughts? We hate
(51:08):
this bitch? That feels like our final thought. I hate her.
She's such a good oh recap everything. Yeah, I think
she's a bit. I think she's ridiculous and I think
she should spill names. I think if your teacher, don't
have sex with students, no offense, Leah. I think if
you live near alligators, don't walk near the fucking water
and whatever. The other one was, Oh, if it's not
your house, don't break in in party. But if it is,
(51:28):
just find a medium ground and don't don't prosecute. We
don't prosecute your kids doing something stupid. And there you
have it, ladies and gentlemen, this has been another episode
