Let's get into the actual episode.

So I wanted to kick it off because Claude needs
to understand the importance and the legionary way we got
into this episode by having two arch nemesis since the
exception of Bell Collector Marie Monroe and LaTrece Rogers, they

were able to have a conversation.

Everybody went crazy when they saw that scene.

So, Claudia, it's equivalent to opening up a season with
Kenya and Porscha. Right, what did you think about that, Dustin?

It was that was a no.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
That was for the fans, and we appreciate that, right,
because even Marie going to going to Goddess links right
if you think back to their original argument why they
fell out in the very first place, when Marie was
really really tearing La Trees up at that table when
she just laid into her about their hair, and then
it just never died.

And so to see them come.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Full circle and have Marie pulling up to Goddess Links,
that was for the fans and it made us feel good.

We loved seeing that. We loved seeing her come into
a store and.

They was having their moment talking shit and just being homegirls.

That felt.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
That was so good to see. I loved that scene.

Her rolling up to the drive and drive through window.
Is your boss here? And then I'd love seeing that
because again, you know, I've had a couple of reality
show beats whatever, and a lot of times it just
ends up being just that, like you never really recovered.
So I think that's a big deal for people to

like move forward, because a lot of times people it's
in their best interest to not move forward so they
can have that storyline, right, So moving forward, to me
is an even better storyline, and I think that's what's up.

No, the one thing that we wanted As I'm chewing,
the one thing that we wanted was everything doesn't said.

Be so they can become redundant when the same girls
are having the same beat over and over and over.
And if you all watched last season, you all how
when they were New Orleans they were able to like

the girls getting you know along, you know, it's it's
it's meat and not the meat that is on these men,
is the meat that is in.

And we knew that at the reunion of last season
they had no arguments and we were like, you know what,
we really have to demonstrate that this season is a
brand new season and to really show that these relationships

So I was happy to see it. It was a
great scene.

It was it was It's honestly one of my favorite
scenes in this episode.

Then we get into Leticia and Glenn.

Right, so as you all know, Latitia Glenn have had
so Claudia Leaticia was on her last week she said.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Make Glenn was hell healthy.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
In this episode, we recap tore the audience that look,
yes they've.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
Had some issues in the past, but they are moving forward,
and she wanted to give Glenna massage as a way
of saying, like, we're moving forward.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I'm proud of you for doing your park in our
marriage and we'll get to the end.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
But what did I think about the fact that these
two are now trying to work on their marriage and
an effort to move.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Forward another example of other reality shows leading to take
a page out of his book. I think we're all
exhausted with the same tired every week.

The highlight of a show for next week.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Is women fighting at this point or someone getting cheated
on at this point. It's not even like shocking anymore.
It's just like yan Ben, they've done that. These are
the kind of moments we need to see to give
these shows some depth and give us an arc. It
was cute to see her catering to her man, giving
him massage him like being into it.

And not ignoring his wife like it was. We need
to see more of that.

And you know, obviously from the interview last week, I
don't know she said. Her answer was he's healthy, and
we know were healthy, but is he still in your bed?
I don't know about that, but we are at least
seeing a point where they are trying to make it work.

At this point, Yeah, it felt like it's about damn time, right,
Like we've been watching this show for how many seasons now?

And since seasons okay.

And from season one, we have been in this state
of like purgatory with Glenn and Laticia. You know what
I'm saying, Are we in or we are? With this
in between stage? He's home, he's not home. They together,
they not get they're not together. The only thing that's
been consistent for me as a viewers that they both
love their son. So that's always brought them together anytime

it was time for something with their son. You see
them both together and being cordial and being happy.

It felt good to see this, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
If I was Glenn, I would have walked out the
motherfuckingnked got up on that table.

You know what I'm saying.

I want them to be happy to be there with
each other, and I like seeing them together. But who
knows how long we're gonna get to see that based
on what we saw at the end of the show.

So what about and being in dms and girls dms
allegedly as.

Lateresa's friend Amanda came in hot in this season premiere episode,
and I have mixed feelings as a viewer about how
what my takeaway was from that, right, but she came
on and she introduced herself as Laterce's best friend, and
the first thing we do is hear her ask Laterce's
husband if he was giving Latrece's head in the back

before she got there. I was like, that's not really
the best introduction, you know what I'm saying as a friend,
you know, it kind of just felt like she was overstepping.
And then she continued to be messy at the end
and show them text messages that she had been entertaining
or not text messages DMS that she had been entertaining
allegedly that come from Glenn in her phone, and she

shows it to LaTrece and to Tambra in the salon
while she's doing Latrese's hair because she's a cosmetologist, she
has a salon that Latrice goes to for her weekly maintenance.

I love, you know, I love some of LaTrece rogers
so she said.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
That I was laughing, but yeah, and she said that,
she said, you know this is I didn't want to
put you in the middle of Latrese.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
That's why I haven't told you about this.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Well, that's exactly what you're doing by telling her now
on camera when obviously she's going to have to react
to that or whatever. A lot of people might feel
like LaTrece was in on it, and maybe she was,
but as far as like Amanda herself as a character
on this show, she did not appear likable in this
first episode. She seemed like directly wanting to get to
the mess and like she didn't have good intentions.

If you got to be mean to a motherfucker, let
it be deserved for her to introduce herself in that way.

Felt a little off for me.

So it'll be interesting to see what she brings later.

So that's story because think think that was on the
on the comments in that scene. So you have with Trees,
who is friends for Laticia, right, But Trees also has
a friend who was Amanda.

Amanda and Latrese have been.

Friends since like the school days, right, feel like middle
of high school. So Amanda is like her best friend,
but Latitia is her closest friend, especially her closest friend
amongst this cast. Right, at least, that's what we were
all what we've seen throughout the years.

They're they're up, they've had ups and downs, right.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
But they they have this big sense of little sister relationship.
The the audience felt that they didn't like seeing laughter
when Amanda present to the DMS. Did you think that
was at the expense of Letitia or was it just
what friends do when you are together and you found

out that one of your friends men is you know,
supposedly allegedly back to DM and girls.

that looked good at all.

to be laughing.

Basically, you you think it's funny that I'm looking stupid
one on a TV right in front of people. Three
the reality and the heaviness of what that means, my

And I watched that scene multiple multiple times because when
I first saw it, I thought Tambora was laughing too
right when the girl said it. But after I watched
the scene like five times, Tambora asked the girl if
she if Glenn had been acting like a single man
in the text messages, basically confirming whether or not he

had been flirting with her. And when the girl basically said,
look at me and then look at his wife, you
know what I'm saying? So what he look at me
and look at the woman and he's married to So
what you think, Tamor kind of Tamor was like, well, there,
it is like confirmation.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
I didn't think she was laughing at what the lady said.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
But I thought LaTrece was laughing also, though LaTrece does
have a nervous laugh, and if you've been watching this
show from season one, episode one, LaTrece laughed at a
lot of awkward moments that people typically don't laugh in
or laugh during, she laughs and she has a nervous laugh.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
So I didn't know if her laughing was connected to that.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
But at the end of the day, this girl, Amanda
is your best friend.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
You have her on this show.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
You obviously knew what she was going to talk about
in that scene or whatever. And even if you didn't,
you didn't react in away LaTrece. That would suggest, Hey,
Latisa is my girl too, and I don't want to
make fun of her in this moment. That was the
reaction that we saw. And you can be friends with
two people that can't stand each other. There's a way

to do that, you know what I'm saying, and not
allow either of them to talk shit about the other
one and disrespect you therein you know what I'm saying.
So I just didn't feel like LaTrece. I felt like
Latrice was in on it. I did, and I love
LaTrece but that's how I felt.

I didn't like that, Like you might say that, oh,
you the closest friends, and that you know, you know,

Leticia do anything to this this woman, right, we've never
seen her engage with Letitia. We've never seen anything be
done to her that will warrant her saying something like that.
But we've been seeing Latitia for how many seasons now,

even know you, ma'am. We know Latisa, and we don't
like you getting out here saying that shit and saying
that you have been actually entertaining dms from her husband.
It's one thing for the nigga to just be dming you,
but for you to say and I entertain them when
I want to Now you know what you're doing, and
you're willfully participating in some file shit, and that just
didn't land for me personally.

The only way you can justify people laughing at that
moment for her is if she had been being a
really like an asshole.

Bell Collector one, are your thoughts on the fact that
Mari Reed and Cedric are back to gab Dar working
on getting back together.

Yeah? I think that is cool.

I think that it's cool, and I think that if
that works for them, it'll be good to see. Her
energy was totally different with him than it was with
the Martin guy. They just it doesn't even have anything
to do with him being different from her physically. They
just don't have no chemistry in the scenes that we've
seen thus far. But her and Cedric, her ex husband,
with the dirty house, they got a lot of chemistry,

that that house was dirty as all the fun. Did
you see that all that ship all over them kitchen
counties refrigerator, all fucked up bags of food and meat

like Wendy was just insignificant, and she was very dismissive
of it and acted laughing it off like Wendy was

favorite person on The Housewives, right, I don't think that
she's she was necessary to the show. But Wendy wanted
