Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real house Boss in Atlanta, New
Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise
and Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from
the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset,
(00:27):
in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space
or scripted as well. Hey, Riding drops on today's episode
of Reality with the King.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Listen it is Sunday.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Thank you guys so much for joining me. Over the weekend.
We got breaking news over at Day two Bravo.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Come. A lot has been going on and I'm here.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
To give you guys the real updates. Okay, a lot
has been happening. Let's just get right into it, so
buckle your seatbelt.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
By the way, Juice a Dora, I'm a stand this
Juicidora stand account.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
But we'll get to that later because she shaded the
out up show me.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Okay, I love it, love and love it.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
All right, So first thing first, let's get into what's
been going on. Let's start with Kyle Richards as you
all know, Kyle Richards is my favorite housewife that's currently
on air that I haven't worked with. I'd like to
give lether Sclamer because you know, I love all the girls,
but she's my favorite housewife that's currently on television who
(01:51):
I have not worked with.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
I love Kyle.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
So Kyle opens up about her sexuality during a Bravo con. Okay,
so the Beverly Hills Housewives was there. They gave a
cute sneak peek at the trailer, and as we all know,
(02:16):
when it comes to the trailer, in addition to.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
What we've been.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Hearing about, Kyle joked, I could go Brad, or I
could go and Jelina.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, So when pressed about this, this is what Kyle.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Had to say when the questioned at Bravo con about
her sexuality.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Rain drops.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
This is the update that Kyle Richard's has for us,
and I quote this.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Is what she said. I don't like labels.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I always had a tight, tall, dark and handsome, and
that's what I'm married. I am broke and evolving and
my mind has opened up.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
I don't know what the future holds now, and I'm
fine with that.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Kai Kyle Kyle, Kyo Kyo Kyo, Kyle Kyle.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Listen Number one. No one should be out it if
they're already. I believe that. I strongly believe that. As
an uply gay man, I do not believe in outing anybody.
I think it's disrespectful and I think it's dangerous because
once again, if a person isn't ready to come out
(03:54):
and you do it for them, you don't know what
mentally that can do for them. You don't know if
they may resort into unfortunate things. I'm not gonna be
descriptive because this is a friendly podcast, child, so we
won't go there. But dark things could happen, and dark
things could cross their mindself.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
No, I don't think you should out anybody.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
I will say this as a viewer of Beverly Hills
and a Kyle Richer stand that I am.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I'm not watching.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Another season of Beverly Hills where Kyle is dancing around
her sexuality. I don't care. I don't care, and I
mean that as an obi gay person. I just think
if you do not want to say I'm bisexual, if
you don't want to say I met Morgan, and although
(04:47):
I never saw myself being with a woman. I met
this woman named Morgan, and I have all these feelings.
So I'm not going to identify myself as a lesbian.
I'm not going to idea to find myself as bisexual.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
I don't like labels. But I did happen to fall
hard for a woman. That's all we want. That's it.
Porsche is giving us that. Porsche has admitted that on
the upcoming.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta she's dating a
man and a woman. She's not saying she's a left Mian, bisexual, gay, straight, pronouns,
none of that.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
But what she is saying at least is are you
dating a woman?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Kyle?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Is it even giving us that? Can you at least
say I'm dating a woman?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I understand that Morgan, the woman in question, no longer
wants to be associated with this pop culture phenomenon that
is the Real Housewives brand. I get it, I get it,
I get it, I get it.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
However, I don't want to watch another season Beverly Hills
and look, this is no shade and I'm gonna keep
it real.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Beverly Hills is on Thing Nights. In terms of keeping
my interest, and I'm.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Saying that because I don't want to watch a show
where everybody protects each other when it comes to things
they talk about in real life off camera. Kyle obviously
is dating Morgan or has dated Morgan.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Y'all. Y'all have matching tattoos. I don't have matching tattoos
with my siblings.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
I don't have matching tattoos with my ex boyfriend who
was an African who were dating for seventeen years.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
You have a matching tattoo. Beyonce Gizille knows carter.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
The romant numeral four tattoo or her ring finger.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Because she is married to jay Z.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
And the reason why the four means a lot to
be say, is because she was born on the on
September fourth.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Jay Z was born on December fourth, and they got
married for two thousand and four. Oun't know over the year,
maybe two I don't know, but they got married on
April fourth, right, so the four is symbolic.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
To them half the tattoo. My point is tattoos is significant.
You and mark and have magic tattoos. For the love
of God, for the love of the.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Lgbt q I E plus community.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Can we at least get something else to.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Declare what it is.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
You had an off camera conversation with your daughters about
your sexuality. We weren't allowed to see that, but we
were all out to see Bruce.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Jenner transition into Caitlan.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
And before Bruce transitioned into Caitland, we saw Bruce as
he was transitioning to a woman, sit down with his
kids and say to them, this is what I'm doing.
And that's why look, y'all can say what the y'all
want about the Kardashians.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
They gave us great TV, they gave us real life.
We got a chance to see that.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
So we were robbed of seeing an important conversation that,
in my opinion, could help a lot of women who
may be having feelings for a woman women or someone
they met that's the opposite sex right to say, oh
my gosh, Kyle Richards, I've learned so much from you.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Kyle Richards has.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
The opportunity to be seen not only as an ally
to the community, but Kyle Richards has the ability.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
To really be somebody that can speak.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
To women who are middle age, who have a husband
and children, adult children or children in high school, and
they have these feelings that they don't know how to describe,
and they're looking to Kyle to be like, can you
at least share how you were able to navigate through this?
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Kyle is skating around this topic, and I don't know
who she has in her ear. Let me not say that.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I do believe that Kyle has people around her who's saying, look, baby,
you could be so much further than your career if
you're honest to the audience.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Just be honest.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Again, I'm not asking, nor are the rain drops, Nor
are the viewers asking Kyle to say she's a lesbian,
or to say she's bisexual, or to put a label
on herself.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Can we at least hear you say? What?
Speaker 1 (10:03):
When did you come to the conclusion? Are we able
to see that? And I'm saying right now, if we're
not seeing.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
That this season.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
As much as I am the number, there is no
bigger Calrich fan than Carlos King, I am a stand
of Kyle, and I can be honest and say, if
Kyle does not give us anything new about her feelings
for women or this or this woman, I'm checked out.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I'm checked out.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Take me to the Lifetime set where Garcell is baby.
Take me to the farm where Camille Grammar is at.
By the way, speaking of Camille Grammar, Camille Grammar's at
Bravo Ka honey, and she told the audience, thank you
Kelsey Grammar for that phraser money. Because my kids and
(11:01):
I are well off. We live a great lie. She
talked about the cars her kids have. That is a
type of housewife I want on television. Camille Grammer's saying yes, bitch,
I am living a good life based off of Kelsey
Grammar's phrase your money, being unapologetic about how rich and
(11:21):
wealthy she is and how she got that money because
of her ex husband.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
That's the type of content we want. Kyle. As much
as I stand for.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
You, you are entering in dangerous territory if the only
thing we're getting is you saying, well, I can go
for Brad or Angelina.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
I could give you that.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Everyone knows I can go for Ralph or Portie.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I mean a conversation, sh that's nothing. I'm a gay
man that has to crush on Porsche. That that doesn't
move in me at all. I mean, I digress. I just.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
I'm just sorry, y'all. I'm just I'm just over it.
I'm over it because to me, it just makes no sense.
It makes no sense. It's just I'm over it. But Kyle,
I still love you, and listen, I hope that for
the sake of Kyle's.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Career.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
I just hope that she's honest about something new that
we haven't seen yet. We've been dealing with this for
three years and your boy is exhausted, all right, So.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Moving on.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
With that.
Speaker 7 (13:00):
Speaking of the l g b t Q I A
plus community, we have to get into Gretchen Rossi, who
was also at Bravo Con.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Okay, So, Gretchen Rossi did an interview with friend to
the show, Evan Real, where she was asked about the
allegations that she was liking homophobic tweets. Okay, so Evan
asked her about it. Let me find the clip because
(13:35):
I kind of want to play for you guys, but
here it is. So this is what Gretchen had to say,
and I want you guys to listen up your LGBTQ.
Speaker 8 (13:49):
You know, here's anybody for many, many years, anybody in
the community that you talk to that's not true.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
You know, you know who I've been my entire life.
It was one of the.
Speaker 8 (14:03):
Biggest advocates of the LGBTQ question me way back when
nobody really was and when nobody really when it was
like the cool thing to do, so I you know
what I mean, like way back in the day, like
it was one of.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
The very first house fens. You have the drag queen
on me personally. I think that's why you didn't see
a lot of the out of my responses like.
Speaker 8 (14:26):
Me, like, of all the things you couldn't say, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
The one of So that's what she has to say.
And look y'all know, I like Gretchen.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
I'm not going to spend too much real estate on
the topic because I feel like Alexis Billino Jansen and
I have done that every Friday on our OC recap.
What I will say is, I just think Gretchen got
her hand caught.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
In the cookie jar.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
And what we have to also realize is just because
you brought drag queens on a TV show for entertainment
purposes does not make you an ally. It's sort of
like saying I'm not racist because I have a black friend.
(15:26):
Let's have a real conversation. So I'm not here to
say that Gretchen is homophobic. I don't know her to
give her that label, but you're gonna have to do
more than say I had drag queens. Fuck, Like, did
(15:50):
you march at the gay parade?
Speaker 2 (15:52):
You know?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Like there and listen, you don't have to march at
the gay parade to be an ally either, Like there
are certain ways for the you know, to be an ally.
But you can't say to me that, over a decade
ago on Real Housewives you had drag queens when I
feel like drag queens is like having a dinner party
on Housewives. You know what I'm saying, Like, that doesn't
(16:15):
make me believe that you're not homophobic. If anything, now,
it makes me believe that you may have liked those tweets.
And the one thing I want people to understand, it's
the fact that Gretchen was not on Housewives for over
a decade. So for over decade, we all evolved every
(16:36):
couple of years. You know, study has shown that every
ten years a person involves into another version of themselves.
So just because you've done something over ten years ago
in twenty twenty five, well, let's say last year when
(16:57):
allegedly she liked those tweets, it's plausible that you have
evolved into another person that may not be who you
were when you were on Housewives back in the day.
So I look, she's not convincing me at all. I'm
not convinced. I think Gretchen is doing a poor job
(17:19):
at convincing us, and I'm going to in order for
me to believe she never liked those tweets, I'm going
to I'm going to need more than I had drag
queens on Housewives of OC.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I would to need more than that. Okay, tell me
that you're going out to date with.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Cole Richards of me, let me know if you prefer
brand or Angelina Child or am I k Jennifer Aniston?
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Because if I had to choose, I would choose Jennifer Anistan.
Speaker 9 (17:53):
By the way, I am a Jennifer Aniston stand too.
I go by Jennifer Anistan and I watched the Morning
Show every Sunday. I know it comes on Wednesday on Apple,
but I watch it every Sunday. So look, I I
love Jennifer Aniston.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Again, I'm a gay man, but that does to mean
anything decides the fact that I like Jennifer Aniston.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Okay, So Gretchen, I'm gonna need you to hang out
with Morgan and Kyle.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
I need you to be able to tell us what's
going on.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You got outline for us in that way.
Speaker 10 (18:32):
Us days want to know what the fuck is going
on with Kyle and Morgan. If you want to prove
to us you're an all like Gretchen, hang out with
Morgan and Kyle and.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Give us a tea. I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
For real, Okay, So moving on to the dirty South
up Atlanta.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
All right, So I'm gonna I'm always honest with you guys.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
So I'm not gonna say I'm gonna be honest with
you guys, because I'm always honest with you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
I missed Nini Leaks. Meini Leek's has been on my
has been heavy on my.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Spirit for the past couple of days. As I'm seeing
all the clips at Bravo con, I can't help but
think of the woman who helped build the brand Housewives,
which is Nini. And maybe I'm the only one who
thinks this way, but rain Drops, let me down the comments,
(19:39):
let me on Twitter, hashtag Reality with the King, let
me know in the Spotify comments too, okay, and I.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Mean this, my my heart has been heavy on Nini.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
I think about her watching some of these clips come
through of these housewives being celebrated at Bravo Con and
the fact that she's not there.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
I think about that.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
When I see the Atlanta Housewives panel and she's not there.
I think about that. When I see Cynthia Bailey and
Charae there and she's not I think about that. When
I saw that Kim Zoziak was there, who looked gorgeous
by the way, Hey Cam.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Love you, and she's not there. I'm being real.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
It made me sad, and not only because she is
my friend in real life. It made me sad because
I know she helped build the brand and and everybody
in life.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Everybody in life has, including yours. Truly, I'm human. We
all have made.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Decisions, mistakes, said things, done things, and.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
You know we can look back on those moments and
be like, Okay, well maybe that wasn't the best way.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
I'm all about forgiveness. If somebody has the heart to apologize,
I'm all about moving forward, and somebody genuinely capital g
has been moors, I'm all about that.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
It made me think about her a lot. It made
me think about how she feels. It made me think
about opinion. More posted a clip of Kenya at Bravo
Khan last year. No I think Bravo Khan was two years.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Ago and her infectious laugh, and it made me think
about how Kenya Moore came on the show season five
and changed the temperature of what that brand is as well,
and she's not there. It made me think about those
(22:30):
two in my heart for a moment, just felt sad
for them because they're not allowed to be celebrated, and
it just made me sad.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
It really made me sad. I'm gonna talk to Claudia
and that'sn't about that tomorrow, but it made me sad
as you could go. You could. What's crazy is you
can hear the son of my voice I sound because
child was like this to call and you know with Gretchen,
but now I'll sound like you know, Diane Sawyer. I's
(23:14):
like you know, I feel really.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
But anyway, it made me feel sad and.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Out of respect. I'll just leave it there. I'll leave
it there AnyWho.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
When it comes to how I feel, Porsche Williams.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Did an interview.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
And she was asked a question and This is what
she was asked a question about which housewife with Porsche
one back on Atlanta, and this is what Porsche had
to say. So listen up, rain Drops, hond On, hold on,
(24:08):
love me.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
And she brought so much to the show.
Speaker 8 (24:11):
And I think that she was you know, she's always
gonna be this her energy, you know what I mean,
she's start Maybe she opened up the doors for us,
and I think she should always be respected.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
And like, what's wrong with Nani shout out to Portie.
Oh my gosh, I gotta move my it's I don't
like feeling this way reality The kis that happy podcast?
(24:40):
It just made me sad.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
It made me sad about me and Kenya and just
the state of affairs. And listen, as long as I
have breath in my lungs, just know that I will
(25:02):
always celebrate Kenya and Nini, and I will always give
those two women credit for changing the game, for changing
the game. And it's easy to judge people. It's it's
(25:23):
so easy to judge people's actions. It's so easy to
make assumptions based on things that you may hear about
in the media that you just don't know about personally.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Let me repeat that again.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
It's so easy to judge somebody for what you may
hear about in the media versus what you know personally. Okay,
a lot of people don't know anything personally about what
those women, what those women had to endure. And the
(26:07):
only thing that I will touch on is the fact
that everybody deserves grace and respect. And we've seen other
people be given that opportunity and hopefully one day they're
(26:30):
granted the same.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Okay, So let's move on, because I ain't exppost to
go there.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Now speaking about Oh g let's get into Charae. I
am the Honey.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
No one loves Charie Whinfield more than Carlos King.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
And I was gonna recre saying that I am a
Charae Whitfield.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Stay at Honey, love her.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
So Charae was also at Bravo Cohn and this is
what she had to say when my girl, I love Charay.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
I let me let me, let me say this.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
I think Charai Whitfield is the most underrated OG in
the history of the franchise.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
I don't think. I don't think y'all.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
A lot of y'all get Sharad the respects she deserves
and as somebody who had the opportunity and the blessing
to have worked with her since season one. I know
for a fact what a great talent Charai Whitfield is.
Charae Whitfield set off episode one, season one when Charai
Whitfield admitted on my podcast Hey that she did purposely
(27:49):
leave Nini's name off the guest list when Nini got
Pitt Houdy, and that opened up our season premiere, Season one,
episode one, Charik Whitfield was a producer before we even
knew what a ghost producer was. Before there was a
(28:09):
Gizelle Briant, there was a Charae Whitfield before there was
a Bethany Franco. There was a Charae Whitfield before there
was a Heather Gay. There was a Charae Whitfield before
there was a Kyle Richards. There was a Charae Whitfield.
Those women that I named are ghost producers. They know
how to move straightforward. They know how to set it
(28:30):
off without you know, being told, pushed, you know whatever.
Shari Whitfield literally said, I'm leaving Nini's name off the
guest list, and I'm not telling anybody but the security
I as a producer, had no idea and now that
(28:50):
my bosses, the executive producers, we tried to get Ninnie in.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
We went to Charaine said Charie Nini in. Sar was like, huh,
the music's loud. I don't know what you're talking about.
I'm so aloop.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Lost.
Speaker 6 (29:09):
Charae niais outside.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Schary was coasting up in the basement child so yes
put some respect to Charay's name. She is the original
Jaseelle Bryant Okay any who so teray was?
Speaker 1 (29:28):
CHARII mentioned on the Red Carpet that she was asked
to return to the upcoming season seventeen of Atlanta Housewives,
and she mentioned how she turned it down because.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
And I quote, well, let's yall hear I like to pick.
I'll get to hear things. Hold on. So here what
Sary had to say about that when you come back
to Atlanta season like, are you so I'm open to it?
Speaker 8 (29:58):
This back in the capacity, I said no, no, tell
me why you said no?
Speaker 2 (30:07):
Money talks And it wasn't speaking loudly enough.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Money talks and it wasn't speaking a loud of the
bill he Chara, So Benchara talked about how you know
pretty much. Look, put some respect of her name. And
I'm with Chara Painsturay. What she wants, baby peasturade, what
she wants child?
Speaker 2 (30:31):
We want? She bout Charay bag baby. I digress.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Now.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
They also asked Charay about Angela Oakley and Charles Oakley.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
And baby.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
They asked about, you know, any possible overlap, and this
is what she buys. Charay had to say, listen up,
and I understand that you didn't Charles briefly in the past.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Now I didn't. That's I wasn't an overall think. But
if it was all right, let me take that again.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
I think it got cut off. She would all right,
so let's finish off. This is so that was Angela Oakley,
who y'all heard. And this is Charaie's response to what
Angela said.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Okay, a way to especially.
Speaker 8 (32:16):
Someone sent me a clip that she did on Candy
on Candy Show, and she said that she's in the
manor place right now. She said that she would have
come on two years ago and then it would have
been some.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Issues I don't know who issues with or something like.
It was something to that. I don't remember exactly what
she said, but.

(36:25):
worst kept secret in reality television. But we shall see

Shemia see here being being who she is, you know,

There will never be a show like Atlanta. Atlanta is
just so funny to me. And Drew's has emerged as
a formidable opponent. And I am proud of that girl
because I didn't see a coming child.
