Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in

(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. Hey, rain drops, So today's episode Reality
with the King, I got Alexis Jansen back to recap.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Oh c Hey, hey, it's the Jansen's Worth Jason.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Instead of Jesus Jobs. It's Jansen Jugs. Okay, the pop filling.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
You you literally are you? You're definitely doing the Alexis
Jesus Jugs saying, Hey, by the way, it's JJ and JJ.
So it's fine Jesus Judge John Janssen. It works. Although
our our logos AJ, so yeah, that doesn't work, so
we'll keep it AJ.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Well, we let to see that Netli.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
That was the logo through the whole wedding and everything
that he had the A with the J wrapped around it.
So yeah, it's that I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah, well before we give pardon, I just want to
you know, I'm so happy for you and John.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
How it what was married?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Light?

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Alexis bliss?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yes it is. I mean it's crazy because it really
does feel different. Like I told John when we first
started realizing we were in love, we don't need to
get married. We can just stay you know, fiance and
it's fine. And then we decided, obviously, you know, we
want to do the whole thing. And when we went
before the friends and family and god, it is a
different feeling. You do feel different. The sex is better,

(01:58):
the the do you wake up in the morning You're like, okay, no,
this is mine forever. I know, how did it get better? Carlos,
we already had like the top over the top tip,
you know, off the charts. But yeah, everything is different,
Everything is different, So I build the main thing. He's
my person.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Listen, I could tell boy, the glow you have and
that makes me so happy because you would think you
had a little bit of a space cake but if not, weed,
it's love.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's my light, Honey, Let's be real. It's my it's
my it's that's my glow. Okay, look look forgot my light.
I'm like, I'm not vain enough to take my big one,
So I ordered the Butt Amazon and I'm like, I'm like,
I'm going to Missouri and I'll have the podcast a
couple of times, so I'm bringing my lights, so my
wrinkles look lets and my bags look less because I'm
not a whole lot here. But we start up, but

(02:55):
we start off buying Carlos.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
We still have fun.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
And I can't talked about this episode because look, let's
get right into it. Our Frantamera Judge. I was shocked
at the scene between her and Eddie where I can
I'm like, okay, this would be a nice dinner between
the two of them.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Maybe she's like, you know, setting up that she's going
to go to.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Amsterdam, you know, which is hea this trip for this
particular season, and then all of a sudden they talk
about their lack of communication and how you know they
have like one good.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Fight every six months, and all of a sudden.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Ed it Reveale's like it when you're drunk ifn Tama's like,
do you think I have.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
A drinking problem? And he's like, I think it's not
good for our relationship.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I was I was shocked by that revelation because I
did not see that on comedy What about You, Well.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I was. I was really shocked at it. But you
know what I loved about it, Carlos, I have a
different feel on it. I mean, I mean, obviously, when
you're they've been married like how many over a decade now,
so it's like, Okay, you're gonna have qualms. You're gonna
get on each other's nerves. And her the way he's
gonna bug hit her, and the way he eats is
gonna bug her. And the way she acts if she's
had two cocktails instead of one gonna bug him. You're
gonna have those things to get through in life. But

(04:12):
what I loved about it is it's showing real like
a reality, like the reality behind the relationship. I loved that.
It was like, look, we do have a good marriage.
And when you see them, you know how there's couples, Carlos,
where you see a couple in your circle and you're like,
they just are off. They just they're just not happy.
They don't have that glow. Eddie and her still have

(04:33):
that glow and are still madly in love. You can tell.
But it is showing the reality of it ain't perfect
all the time. You're gonna have some fights, you know.
So I just loved that they and they the way
it ended though, really made me happy because he's like,
h like that you did that little funny thing with
his hand, and then she laughed and he's like, there's
not laugh again, and she laughs about I just loved

(04:53):
I was like, that's true, that's the truth, Like that's
that is then. But they've worked through it, you know.
And I'm sure they went home and maybe she wasn't drinking.
She had soda, water and cranberry at that dinner. So
here's the other thing, Carlos. Though she this whole season
she was going through the ringer with Teddy and the
fact that the cast members were not wrapping around her

(05:13):
with everything she was going through. Nobody was on her side,
so she didn't have an ally or full support at
all filming, and she still met put her foot forward
and did her job, so that I have to appreciate.
So I feel like a lot of the strain you
see even on her and Eddie's relationship was probably from
the fact that she was a gut r low, like

(05:34):
she needed someone to help full up her tank, you know,
with the castmates. I truly feel that because I know
what it feels like to be on the island, and
she was on the island last year with me. We
were in freaking Timbuktu with the rest of the cast
over here, and in this season, nobody wrapped around her
at one of the hardest times of her life.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
So yeah, no, I've done with you. And listen.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
One thing that I believe we all know is that, look,
relationships are hard.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Married just are harder because.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
You do have this commitment you take them, vow to
be there through sickness and health and rich and for
all and all the other stuff. And when it comes
to communication, I thought it was interesting that Tamra Black
considered to be a talkative person that in her relationship
with her marriage to Eddie, how she admitted that we
don't communicate well and that we do have like one

(06:24):
big argument every six months, and we kind of argue
about all this stuff we kept inside.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
What would you say, you know this, you know when
you're now married to the love of your life.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
What would you say is the secret to communicate well
when you are in a marriage? Because I do think
that's one of the problems a lot of marriages, you know,
face it.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Really is that if I hadn't been through fourteen years
of marriage with my first marriage, or I'm sorry, fourteen
years of counseling in my first marriage, I wouldn't have
all these tools in my tool belt because counseling, real
and therapy is so positive. It's such a good thing
even in life and even with friends and any relationships
that you have. And the one thing that my therapist
always taught me is well, first of all, you have

(07:06):
to communicate. And I do believe Tamor when she said
and Eddie that he agreed when she said, I hold
things in, I don't get them out, you know. And
then that's when they have the six month blowup where
they talk about it all and get it all out.
That's not a healthy way to go, but if it
works for them, they can keep working on. Trying to
not shove things under the rug is number one. You've
got to communicate it through when it happens, I think

(07:27):
is the key. But here's the other key to that.
The other key to that is if you're not seeing
eye to eye, and John and I've had this happen
a couple times already in the two years we've been
together where I'm just ready to talk it out. I
want to talk it out. I want to get it out.
I'm like no, and he goes, Alexis, you're the one
that taught me put it on the shelf. We're going
to put it right there, and tomorrow or the next day,
when we're both calmed down, we've processed the argument and

(07:50):
we can pull it off the shelf and we're going
to address it after twenty four hours or what, you know,
when the time feels right. But right now we're missing
you know, we're missing each other, like the wires are
going up as straight when we're trying to connect and communicate.
And I think that is so cute. Put it on
a shelf. Does it mean you're neglecting It doesn't mean
you're going to bed mad. It's up there and we'll
revisit it. I think that is like one of the
biggest things. And I even got mad at Johnny when

(08:12):
he made me do that. I said, that's my advice,
but I don't want to answer right now.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
What. No, that's good. I have to use that one day.
That's really good advice.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I think it would help tamroll. I'm mett tell her
next time we have coffee, we're not gonna have the
martini because that he doesn't like it. We're gonna have coffee.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
No, baby, have coffee that Cobbe caffe and that my
bro needs.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
So we've been see the girls together and listen, I
will say this, Emily is becoming the.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Pot star this season.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I'm It's been every season, Carlos. I'm not the only
one that sees this. Honey Bunny, come on. Her middle
name is Emily pott Stir hyphenated, not the pop that
called Emily's black. I love it.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
I love it, and nothing's wrong with it. Just own it.
I mean, it doesn't matter. You just you are. You
are the pot Star. It's okay own it and wear
it and proud, put your hat on it and go.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I actually agree with you. Listen.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
I enjoy it, and I think she should own it
the way that they want Tamar to own her being
one as well.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
But it's sort of like so Emily is activated.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
And while the girls were together, she did ask Shannon
if she felt that Tama was being shady bringing up
the dead and all of a sudden, you know, Shannon's like, look,
I don't want to deal with it. And it's a
parent and it's evident we talked about this again that
Shannon has no Shanna does. I would want to resolve

(09:52):
the friendship she have with Tammar and and and it's
pretty obvious.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
And then Tamar all of a.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Sudden, it's like, you know, asking Shannon and if she
is a sea word, because Shanna was like to be
screamed the sea word eighteen times across the table. It's
just stuffing she can't deal with ivan Tamara was like,
what are you want? Which I'm like, look, Tampa, that's
not going to help the case by you repeating the
sea word that you know annoys her.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
But I think for me, Shannon and Tamar will never
be friends.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
And to me, it's evident, although Tammer's trying, Shannon doesn't want.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Well, can't they just be work associates? So that's the thing,
and I think that's what Tammer has been trying to
do all season. I think that scene showed that Tamer's
just like, now I'm done, I'm fit, you know, like
I've tried, and and Shannon's not having it. Even for
a work of friendship. Because I remember I told you
a couple of podcasts ago when we were recapping one
of the episodes, I said, Tamara doesn't want to be
friends with Shannon. Here, she's gonna call herup and say, hey,

(10:48):
want to go get a cup of coffee. She doesn't want that.
She just wants to be able to do her job,
which is what your job is, is to entertain America and
be able to be civil in a working environment. And
for some reason, you know, but here's a deal about Shannon.
It's evident. And I haven't watched all the episode or
seasons that she's been on, and you know, really just
caught up last season. I got to know a lot
about her, and in this season you're seeing it again.

(11:10):
And I'm assuming it was her persona before, just her personality,
but she holds grudges and she doesn't let go. Like
I know we're going to go to the gen thing
about how Jen can't go to my wedding and all that.
I know we're gonna get there, but it's another it's
exactly the same immaturity and holding resentment and bitterness. I mean,
if Shannon really is the happiest she's ever been, Like

(11:32):
she says she is all these things she says on
the show, I'm the happiest I've ever been, you know,
if she really is, Why does it matter who Jenna
is friends with? And why does it matter if you
cannot why can't you not just push everything aside and
just do your job with Tamara? That's what that scene
really needed to happen, is I think Tamara was just
She's like, I'm done now, I've tried five times several avenues.

(11:52):
Shannon's not having it, So now are you a sea word?
You know? I think that's Shamra is just but her
emotions get the best of her a lot this season,
and I can see it, Tamors, I can see it
when she's filming, because I think she's just emotionally just
done from crying about Teddy and worrying about Teddy and
trying to visit her every time she can in between
all the filming. I mean, that's the stuff behind the
scenes that people don't know, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah no.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
And that's something that she talks a lot about her
podcast too.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
While she was filming.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
And going through this that you know what Teddy was
going through obviously was you know.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Heart wrenching for her. And look when it.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Comes to Shannon, like I said, IOUs to think Shannon
doesn't want to be pressed with Tamor.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
And guess what, that's okay. I think no one's forcing
you guys to be friends.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
But what I will say is what you said, you
have to sometimes do what's best for the show because
it is a job, and you do your best to
understand the assignment of listed our camera. Are we going
to be talking like we did did teen times a day. No,
but are we able to at least say, look, we

(12:55):
are great as a payer when it comes to this show,
so let's do our job. Let's be cordial behind the scenes.
But the idea of us being best siege just isn't
there anymore. And I would rather Shanna say that.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, And I think that's what's going to be interesting
next year when they recast Carlos or or next season,
I mean for season twenty. I think it's going to
be interesting because it's like there are several people, including
you know, Gretchen and Shannon who seem like and even
Tamor regarding Gretchen, there's just I mean, like even Jen
can at least say I'll do my job in film.

(13:30):
I feel like between tamor Shannon and Gretchen, there's something
where certain ones are going I'm not going to film
with this person. What does that do that that alienates?
And then it's like, what is production going to do?
What is Bravo going to do to fix that? Because
it isn't fun for the viewer to know that there's
no way that these girls can move forward and work together.
We have to be able to see that they can

(13:51):
at least do their job and not. I mean, I
don't know. I'm interested to see where it's going to
go next season.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
I am too, and I think based listen, I'm a producer.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
If I was.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
The decision maker of who comes back, I would not
have Shanna come back full time. I think for me,
the Shannon stick is up.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
I use I use that all the time, that she's
got she's got a shtick. I say that all the
time because even like her falling out of the van
and wiping things off of her test and she's always
like just shovel, I got honey in my hair. It's like,
where are you girl? How are you going to get
a man? Acting like that, like nobody wants that tornado
around like and by the way, Carlos, she can't keep

(14:37):
Gone's name, my husband's name out of her mouth and
she's talking about him farting. Yes, I do have a
problem with this, and can we take a moment to
pray for her real quick? Lord to your heavely Father.
But I'm not kidding. I'm so over it because it's like, oh,
Dear Heavenly Father, please, I didn't really have one, but okay,
here let me go, Dear Heavenly Father. Can we please

(14:59):
just give she then some peace of mind that her
ex dumpter and she can't get over it and now
he's married to me and she needs to find a
new storyline. Please, and Jesus name help forget the strength
to do that. Amen. Okay, anyway, this is what I
will say. Thank you. Maybe it'll maybe God will work
a little bit on her. But okay, first of all,
do you fart? Yeah? I've been with a man two years.

(15:19):
He has never farted in bed or even in daytime. Like,
I'm like, maybe he was subliminally like trying to get
rid of you and that's why he did that. But
also I think she's projecting Carlos because here's why. She's
the one who's crapped the bed several times awake in
a sleep. She peed on a curtain okay instead of
a toilet a couple times drunk. So if you want

(15:40):
to say stupid things about my husband, the truth is
gonna come out. Now she had said he uh snores,
he snores. If she would have said that, I would say, yeah,
he does sometimes, and so does my Frenchiet And so
I get I get lolled a sleep by two snoring
snooze fests, and it's like we move on, But like,
just keep his name out of your mouth. You act

(16:01):
like you guys were married. You dated off and on
and had a tumultuous relationship for three years. You don't
compare him to David or your husband. Lose his name.
He's married. Now, Okay, that's done. I had to get
that off my chest because I am over it. Like
I don't know if she thinks that she is insulting
him and embarrassing him, but she's embarrassing herself because she
can't get his name off of her mouth. Like, stop

(16:22):
using his name. He Okay, that's it. We can move on.
To everything else, but.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Before we move on to everything else, and.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I need to drink of water.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
After that, I have him pir clop in holy water
waiting for me. It's a communion time bath on your assessment,
and it just hit me and I never thought about
this fully until you ran down.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
How she just can't keep his name out of her mouth?

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Do you think and we're going to get into the
ultimatum she pretty much gave jan, which I was like, motherfucker, do.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
You think I just went off? Now wait till we
get to that part. I was getting red bull for
that though.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
I was. I was I was taking.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Let's get back into the show. Ask do you think
Shannon is still in love with John?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I think she's pissed off because he dumped her and
then married the hotter, younger cast member. And I think
that she's bitter and can't move past that. And that's
it's just like she holds grudges with like why can't
if you're if you're a mature, happy, sixty three year
old woman, why can you not move past the fact

(17:48):
that if Jenn talks to me yesterday and goes to
coffee with me, and then she hangs out with you.
Why is that a problem. It's a problem because you're
your own problem. She's her own worst nightmare. She can't
move past John. I'm sure she still can't move past David.
But John just happens to be the unfortunate, innocent bystander
that came in between you know, David and the divorce

(18:09):
and the affair. And then she dates John who dumps her,
and she knew along the way that he probably wasn't
going to stay with her forever. They ever talked about marriage,
they never talked about moving in, they ever talked about finances.
There was the relationship he was trying to get out of.
I think that she is so bitter from all of
that that it's just like she can't she can't lose
his name. I don't think she's still in love with him,

(18:31):
because how can you be in love with someone who
doesn't love you back? Or I don't know. I maybe
she is, but I just think it's that she just
hates herself, and so she takes that out on everyone
else and puts these ultimatums on people. When you're a
sixty two year old woman. It's just would you do that? Carlos,
Like I have friends that don't that this friend doesn't

(18:53):
like this friend. And I'm just say, when I'm having
at Christmas party, guess what A is coming, and so
is B. If you don't want to be there, it's
your her decision not to come. And if Be doesn't
want to be there, it's his decision or her decision
not to come. But I'm not going to be the
immature one trying to keep between you two. I love
you both. Everybody's welcome. If you want to come, great,
If not, it's on you. Guys. That's the mature way
to handle it. That's why I could be friends with

(19:15):
Jen and Tamra. You know it's it's it's not an ultimatum.
It's just Tamra, don't talk about Jen to me. Jen,
don't talk about me to Tampa, Tamara about me to me.
That's it it. I don't I'm so confused by how
older women can act like that. It's like something you
would do when you were twelve and your mom has
to sit you down and teach you. Maybe your mom

(19:35):
didn't sit her down.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
I mean, look, I'm not going to argue with you
when it comes to that. I was floored because listen,
let's hop about conversation. The biggest thing for me that
highlighted the ultimatum was the fact that I agreed with
Tamara at one hundred percent. And I also think Emily
even agreed with Tamar.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
If I'm not.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Mistaken that Shannon's liking to Jen is just to piss
off Tamra.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
That's that's all it is. And I never thought that
that's it.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, I never thought that till I heard that on
this episode. I never it was never even never crossed
my mind. And then when she Tamra said that, I
was like, actually, yeah, it kind of is because I
filmed last season and Shannon didn't give two craps about
Gen last season and they weren't even very friends at all,
So yeah, it is. It is kind of like, let
me just find another, you know, nail to put in

(20:26):
Tamra and turn turn the nail in Tamra's heart, because yeah,
let me just find her worst enemy. And so I'll
I'll choose Gretchen and all choose Gin. But at least, Carlos,
do you feel like this? I wonder what the viewers think.
I feel like with Gin and Tamarra, they get the
assignment and they're doing their job even though they don't
love each other. They there's there's there's a beef there,
we all know it. But they're they're able to put

(20:48):
on their big girl britches and do their job. Yes,
it's not possible with Gretchen and Tamra, and it's not
possible with Shannon and Tamra. Do you feel that.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Saying let me tell you something. Let me tell you something.
The reason why they.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Show like Salt Lake City works is because.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
They fight a lot, but they find a way to
sort of get back together. The same thing with Beverly Hills.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
They they The thing with the Beverly Hills cast Alexis
is they don't isolate one person. Even when Erica Jane
was going through the most horrific times in her life
with a divorce from Tom and the fraud and you know,
all of the laws, dues and all of that ship,
there weren't half of the casts who believed Erica Jane

(21:41):
was guilty. Lisa Renna and I'll say Kyle Lisa rent
a child was really like on Erica's side, but they
also had questions. But it wasn't like something and garselves
that we're not filming with Erica Jane because we don't
want to be associated with somebody who's associated with fraudulent
activities or charge as.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
The thing with OC that I do not want it to.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Turn it to Jersey, for example, is the fact that
you have to find a way to go along to
get along. And that's the reason why when Tamara came back,
I'll say this and I'll say it again, When Tamara
was fine that season and Heather came back and they
wanted Heather to be the queen be of the show

(22:23):
and it flopped right, Emily and Gina shit talk Tamarra
and interviews that entire season she was on, only for
the girl to come back, and they're like, fuck, at
least Emily and Gina found a way to be like,
let's let's let's at least work with Tamara to do
with the best for the show. And that's why Emily

(22:44):
and Gina to me, are enjoyable to watch.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
The thing with Shannon is Shannon.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Hey, listen, I'm not trying to pommel on Shannon, but
I've just got to be honest here and listen, I'm
only talking about her based on the show.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Right now, you can pile on her because guess what,
I have kept my mouth shut and the cookie monster
better keep the John's name out of her mouth, okay,
because she's doing there's gonna be some truth told because
I do have facts and I do have proof of
stuff which we won't name how we all know after
the last season. But it's like I don't have to
shut up, but she better shut up with my husband now,

(23:19):
thank you.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
Okay, go ahead, no lifted, listen there by your man
tell me why that I'll I'll right.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
So I'm not.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I'm not gonna argument that would either.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Not right now. I kind of feel like I have
a knife in my hand and I'm like you, think
of the garage.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
The biggest this the thig is this.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
To see To see Shannon.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Give the ultimatum to Jin was shocking.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
What was even more shocking was Jen saying, I'm not
I did I didn't receive a safe the day from Alexis.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
I like Alexus. I do consider her friend.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
We have a good time, we have coffee, whatever and
when and when, she said, but in order for us
to not be in a bad place, I will not
go to the wedding and Shannon says thank you.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
I was like, what the fuck is happening?

Speaker 2 (24:26):
First of all, that is you were running both lanes there.
It's like, that's not really making a stance, because if
you really do say you like me and enjoy me,
then you don't go to Shannon and say but I
won't go to her wedding. But here's the reality behind
everything now, Carlos. Because that scene, I then knew what
was happening, because Jen and I talked all the way
up until like April something, because I went back on

(24:48):
my text to look after I saw that scene. We
talked all until about April or May, like May is
when myfe Save the Date went out, like all the
way up and I send us Save the Date out
and then there's three weeks. I mean, I'm talking we
talked twenty five minutes on the phone when I'm in
Beverly Hills trying to get my gown and I had
a debucle with the first designer and then I had
to find another designer. Like she's helping me all along

(25:09):
the way and talking to me, okay, and then she's
texting back and forth all the time too. Yes. So
then May comes and I send the save the dates. Okay.
Then the three weeks come where there's like, you know,
I've texted her a couple of times. Nothing. I'm like, oh,
I know that. You know, things get busy. They're probably traveling,
I don't know. And then and then I decide it's
it's five months before my wedding and I was going

(25:31):
in for my emergency boob surgery and if I had
the ruptured implant, and her and I would when we
would have cramps, we would call the other one and go,
you have cramps right, and I'm so sorry, or you
know I'm in car I mean, we talked it through everything.
She did not respond after she knew I was in
Beverly Hills that day going in for my surgery, not
even the next day. I let a whole another four

(25:52):
days go by, not a check up, not to call me, nothing.
So this is where she was distancing herself because she
knew she'd said that on camera. Okay, this is just
where I'm is going. She knew she'd said that on cameras.
And then she's like, I do have to kind of
distance myself from Alexis now. So then I send her
the text and I disinvite her, and she was shocked.
She was like, why are you disinviting me? And I'm like,
are you cuckoo? Like, yeah, haven't responded. I just had surgery.

(26:13):
You didn't check up on me. You have a text
to me back in three weeks when we were talking
almost every day. Text prove it, my text chain proves it,
and the phone calls if I would have kept the
coal log. But like, we chopped almost every day, every
couple of days, and you didn't check up on me.
You don't get a seat at my wedding, which is
a very limited guest list, and I have twenty five
people still wanting to come that I want to invite.
So now you're moving off and I'm inviting two more

(26:34):
that are going to take your place. Okay, it's total
logic to me. Now I understand why it was going
on because Shannon was in her ear engines, Like, I
have to film with Shannon. I don't want to tick
her off because it's the nightmare to film with people.
I've got to have allies. I don't like Tamera, you know,
I've got so now I understand it all from behind
the scenes. But It sucks because Jen and I are

(26:56):
friends and I do care about her. I love her
and Ryan. I think they're a great couple. I don't
have anything negative to say about Jen except for that
was weak and she should never have allowed Shannon to
scare her from coming to my wedding because she missed
a fabulous event and she should have been there, and
that's on her. But she wasn't being honest when she said,

(27:17):
I'm not the kind that's going to allow someone to
dictate who I'm friends with. Because you're sure as hell
did baby cakes? You sure did you let Shannon get
you canceled from my wedding list? Which is sad. It's
sad because that was an event of a lifetime and
it's a once in a lifetime, So it's sad.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Honey, No, let me ask you this because I actually
feel sad right now.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Was that hard to watch?

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yeah, because then it all made sense because nothing made
sense before. And then I'm doing the timing and I'm like,
I wonder if they were on a trip back then.
So then I text Hammer, when did you guys go
to or talk to Tammer? I'm like, when did you
guys go to Amsterdam. What month was that? Exact same timing,
exact same timing, as she is distancing me. And when
I go back to my text exchange that three weeks

(28:04):
that she wouldn't answer and went kind of cold on me.
Was that, I mean now we've talked now, we've talked
to ten since then, and sorry, Shennon, we do talk
and she has my friends, so I don't know what
she's telling you, but I'll just one here.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Wait, you and Jims are about past that. A're talking now.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yes, we are texting now, back and forth. She texted
me on my wedding day. Listen to this. She texted
me on my wedding day and said, I hope we
you know, I know we don't listen to all the noise,
and I know you're going to beautiful bride today, wishing
you the best or whatever. And I text her back
and I said, wow, that means the world to me,
and something like, you know what you should be here.
I wish that there was a time when we didn't

(28:40):
have space come between us. Had not seen this scene,
by the way, had not seen this episode CAU. Remember
I got married two weeks ago, so I text her
and I'm like, you know what, you and Ryan really
should be here. I wish we'd never had the space,
you know, the distance come between us, but I get
the world we live in and this TV show's rotten sometimes,
but you should be here. If you want to slap
on a wedding outfit and you and Ryan want to come,
let me know. I'll make sure there's space for you,

(29:01):
because I would have just scootered a couple of people
over and made the eight top of ten top, you know,
cause we had a couple of eight tops and not
all of them were ten, So I'm like, we'll just
squeeze them in, you know. But then you know, she's like, no,
I'm in San Diego, but thank you so much, and
you know, I'm glad that you know, and I just
you know, we are on good terms. It's like we
can squash that. But I'm not going to tell you
that that scene didn't hurt me, because that made it
all come It all came to light then I understood why.

(29:25):
And I wish Jen would have just texted me back
then and said when I was can't when I and
disinvited her, I wish she would have just said, I'm sorry,
Shannon did get in my ear, I am feeling torn.
That would have made me respect the situation a little
bit more, you know, But I didn't get that. Instead,
I got why are you disinviting me? This is odd?
Why that's an odd thing to do? And I'm just like, no, No,

(29:48):
it's five months from my wedding and I've talked to
you in three weeks, not by having someone come to
my wedding that doesn't reply after I have surgery, thank you. No.
So anyway, well, and now.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
It's interesting because the whole time she's pissed that you
just invited her, she already told Shannon she wasn't coming
right crazy.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
But now it's all making sense because of this episode.
Now it's all.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
You know.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
It just it sucks. It did suck. It hurts. It
hurt my feelings a lot.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Okay, I have to ask you this because you know me.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
I'm very honest with you, and I never want to
put you in a colorful situation.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
But I gotta be real.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
When I saw that scene and I saw Jen tells
Shannon pretty much, I'm not going I gotta know be
loyal to you pretty much, it reminded me of Heather's
excuse of not going to your wedding, and how she
brought up Shannon's name and to hear Shannon tell Jan
thank you.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
This is my theory and I can be alone.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
I don't give a fuck.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I believe Shannon had that same conversation with him, and
I believe, based on the fact that I now know
Shanna gave people ultimatums, I believe she gave head the line,
and I've been Heather was like Jin and gave what
was best to continue fimming with Shannon, and.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
I just agree.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
I disagree with that because Heather and I have texted
back and forth since since that whole watch What Happened Live?
We have texted back and forth and we're going to
have a conversation about it. It's just I'm in Missouri now.
We haven't had the time to actually have a phone call.
But she did say she's sorry, and she did not
mean it any of that that way. She did a long,
lengthy like I sent her a text as long, she
sent me one back this long. I love the girl,

(31:35):
and I know that we all mess up in this industry,
and the problem with being on national television is you
do say things. I mean, look at me. My mouth
goes faster than my brain a lot of the time,
So I'm easy to forgive people on that when they've
owned the mistake and said they're sorry. Heather did and
it was from the bottom of her heart. It was Alexis,
I should have just ended it at that I was

(31:55):
a cat's thing, but I just started talking. And I
don't mean that. I do love you, Terry, and I
do love you guys like you know, like we I
don't know what was on her mind that day to
keep going, but Shannon did not have any control over Heather.
But yes, she has control over Jin or did Okay
now I think Now, I don't think Shannon does because

(32:17):
Jen is reaching back out to me and talking to me,
So I don't think Shannon ends up having the control
that she thought she had on Jen. I just wish
Jen would have had a backbone back in April because
she would have been at my wedding two weeks ago
had that happen.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Yeah, and also.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Listed also thinking of what you said to that, I
have been thank for years that listen some of these
shows are alliances and it's and listed And I'm also.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Going to bend the girls too.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
It is very hard to film these shows.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
I mean, Alexis, you know that.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
And what I want the general audience to understand is this.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Imagine going to.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Work and no one talks to you, and you have
to do that every day for eight hours a day.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Is tough, and sometimes go on a trip and sometimes
go on a trip where you're together three or four
days straight and sometimes you fill in ten or twelve
hours and you only get an hour break. I mean,
I know, Carlos, That's why I have a capacity to
forgive and move on and a compassion for these women
because I've been in the same shoes. And the ones
that have a good heart and the ones that I

(33:27):
you know, that apologize and I can tell they really
mean it and talk to me off camera and we
still meet up and do things. Those are the ones
that you know really didn't mean it and it was
a TV moment. Like I've said before, it's the other
times that you're you know, you can't move past it.
But but I do. I do feel compassion for these
women because it's tough. It's a tough job, and you

(33:48):
do say things sometimes. I mean, think about this, Carlos,
every America or every human not American. Every human says
something that they go, oh, why did I say it
like that? That don't do even what I mean. It happens
in life daily with people, So on national television you're
actually being videoed and you know it's going to air.
It stinks, you know, it's like it's hard. It's a

(34:10):
lot of pressure, and you don't always mean everything you say.
It comes out wrong. Everyone's human, and so that's why
I tend to be able to forgive and move on,
you know. But I do have a line, Carlos, and
when that line gets crossed for the final time, I
am still cordial, but I don't go back, and so
it takes me a long time to get there. But
when I am, it's that's the end. So right now

(34:31):
I have the Gin and Heather are not at the
line yet. They're just you know, they both didn't make
the wisest choice. They both kind of apologize. I mean,
Jen hasn't really just even though I feel this way,
we haven't had the talk yet because I just watched
the show last night, so I barely protested it, and
that six hours I slept to even be like, oh
my gosh, now it all makes sense. I go back

(34:52):
to my text and it's like, you know, the detective
alexis coming back to work here.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Detective alexive and love, I'm happy you were able.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
To clear things up.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
And look, the ladies are after them and what we
see next week's episode is going to be a course
of drama.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Oh look, what do you think about the cook? Okay,
so I really want to go to Amsterdam? By the way,
what do you think about the cupcake or the what
was it a muffin? The space muffin space cake? What
do you think? First of all, how much of it
would you eat? Because I'm scared. When I was watching
the girls they were taking another bite, like some one
of them was taking a few bites. I'm like, I
would probably take one and wait an hour because I
would be scared, crapless about what it.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Was going to do to me, Like, well, the big
big of me. I I'm not a cannabis person.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Oh I'm so afraid of how I would act taking
or dabbling into a space cake.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Listen, I'm such a fucking nerve. I pod won't do it.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
You want to see it even more?

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Carlos with you, I don't jink, I don't spoke.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
So the idea of be like eating a space cache
is sort of like scary, but but you're like me,
your personality is on one hundred.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Anyway, I would love.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
To see you in it.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Well, I've taken it, John, and I taken a gummy before.
I'm not I'm not a big cannabis person at all either.
My mom liked to smoke the joint and I thankfully
I got to smoke one with her, right well, a
couple puffs. I'm not going to say a joint, but
like I smoked a couple puffs before she ever passed away,
because I used to. I used to ridicule her and
be like, stop doing that stuff long, it's so bad
for you. And then, you know, as I matured and

(36:39):
got older, you know, I remember going to her house
and and we I just landed two and a half
hour drive. It's like, you know, six hours to get
to her, and and she was like, let's just have
a pep. And I'm like, I'm thirty five, an or
fur or whatever. So I'm like, okay, oh hannay, oh hannay,
you wouldn't die. I was laughing my butt off, okay,
which I already laugh a lot, and I just I

(37:01):
thought that I was like the world the room sitting
like I was. But then John and I have done
a gummy you know, I think maybe twice in our
two years together, and I we're just fun. It's fun
and funny. You know, we're definitely not around the kids
when we do that. It's an adult night and we
pretty much stay in the house because it's like, you
don't want to you don't want to be out with that.
But I'm not a cannabis person either, but I think

(37:21):
it's kind of fun. And watching the girls, you know,
watching Heather and and Shannon on it and they were
stone soup. I was like, this is I want to
se I want to see you high.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
I'm so nervous. I'm full over it. So I don't
got a few minutes left with you before I let
you go. Yes, you know the OC girls tape their
reunion last week.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Did you hear anything that happened?

Speaker 2 (37:50):
I'm a I'm a vault Carly, but we'll have fun recapping. Okay, well, okay, wait.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
Are you the stuff you heard? Good stuff?

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Well, I mean it's gonna be a good no ask
me what? No, no, goo.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
Ahead, good stuff for the audience, but maybe not necessarily
for the cast.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
Yeah, but isn't that the way every reunion goes. I've
never seen a reunion that's good for the cast, Carlos,
that's like the stupidest thing you've ever said. Hell would
freeze over good for the cast. Okay, you don't make
that money to be on entertainment on TV and have
a good reunion for yourself. Buddy, that's where we're in.

(38:46):
You are wearing depends to the reunion because you crap
your pants all the time. You are you are taking
your red bull because you know what and I mean no,
there's no good reunion for the cast, but it's gonna
be a good reunion.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Okay, you know what's a buddy, Alexa, that's but probably
be put on his what.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Producer hat because that was such a producer.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Lie, you're so right, you like problem. It's good for
your fucking producers. Not necessary, but.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Well, you know about you were just waiting to see
what I would say. I love it, I love it,
I love it, I love it.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
I love you.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Well, hold one, hold on because you have a lot
of friends in high places. Have you heard anything I heard?

Speaker 4 (39:27):
It's going to be a good show for us to readnap.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
Yeah, it is. I might need to bring two red
bulls for that one, honey, And wait, might I to
go on that one? We might cheers by the way here, cheers,
cheers cheers. We might need to uh go an hour
and a half on that one. I know we try
to keep it at forty five. That one might take
us to an hour, hour, ten minutes. I'm not sure.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Well, I'll spare days, sister. I've just spent days with you,
so trust me. Let's block off the fucking time that
Alexis Jansen Okay, I love what you say that.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Say it again, Alexis Jansen. Wow, We're the Jansons. It's
on Spotify. We had a guy guy blessed not to
rhyme for uh and surprise the heck out of our
whole audience. And my brother called me after the wedding
and is like, Sis, that song I can't get out
of my head. I'm like, I know, it's so like
I can't even get the beat now because I haven't

(40:25):
heard it for you know, two weeks. But it's like
we're the Jansons, and it's like he was just so
freaking epic because he's been John's private chef for like
fourteen years, fourteen years or something, for sixteen dinners John's
had with him, so I'm like, he knows him. So
it's just funny.

Speaker 3 (40:40):
So I love it. I love listen. I love it.
I love you.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Thank you so much, have a great weekend, and I'll
see you next week, my darling.
