he's dropped thousands of dollars on Brittany and she only
gets back to him for vacations and gives.

to who we get now is not they don't feel

Angie a little bit. When we were filming. There was
a time that Angie and I filmed solo. It was
after the Greek Easter, and after filming had wrapped, we
had a conversation and I told her, I said, you
need to step out from Lisa Barlow's shadow. I'm like,

stop kissing her ass, Stop you know, falling in line,
stop doing like step out from under her, like you
will rise on your own. You got this. And she

hundred percent. We've seen Angie totally evolve from you know,

being Jen's friend for several seasons to them being Lisa's
friend now being center snowflake twice. And I'm the first
to admit, Carlos, I am the first to admit she

I have one hundred percent think it's starting to get

a little where you kind of start to they rub
you a little bit wrong, where they get a little
too big for their breeches, you know. And I think
if she just reels it back and gets back to
the Angie we all love. But yeah, she's starting to
get that big head, big old head.

Mary's frustration with Angie came to a head, right, Monica,

and there was an episode last season where they had

They got to a little bit of a disagreement and

and she's doing the most and I don't recognize it.

You know, I have so much respect for the fact
that Mary, and her confessional, I think it was I
believe it was in her confessional said I'm just because
you're not talking to Lisa doesn't mean I'm not going
to talk to Lisa. Or just because you're not friends
with someone doesn't mean I'm not going to be friends
with someone. Because I do feel like, at least in
my experience, especially with this cast, that's kind of how

completely iced out. So for me, I've seen that firsthand,
and you can't have that. It can't be like, oh,
we all hate this person, so we're going to be
united in this and we all you know, there's no
show with that. There's not. And so I do appreciate
the fact that Mary did stand up to Angie in
that moment, as any friend should like a real friend

feel like that felt very That felt very real, and

he's dropped thousands of dollars on Brittany and she only
gets back to him for vacations and gives.

Do you think that's the case with Angie and that's
what you're seeing as you're watching this season.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
I do, I do. I think we're kind of seeing
a little bit of like a Heather situation where Heather
kind of kind of changed, right. I think that's fair
to say from who people loved in season one two
to who we get now is not they don't feel

the same way. And I think that's happening with with
Angie a little bit. When we were filming. There was
a time that Angie and I filmed solo. It was
after the Greek Easter, and after filming had wrapped, we
had a conversation and I told her, I said, you
need to step out from Lisa Barlow's shadow. I'm like,
(26:57):
you are a star all on your own. I'm like,
stop kissing her ass, Stop you know, falling in line,
stop doing like step out from under her, like you
will rise on your own. You got this. And she
was just like, thank you for saying that, And I'm like, no,
it's true. And I think we did see that one
hundred percent. We've seen Angie totally evolve from you know,

being Jen's friend for several seasons to them being Lisa's
friend now being center snowflake twice. And I'm the first
to admit, Carlos, I am the first to admit she
came off that bench, honey, Okay, she came off that
bench and she was doing the damn thing. But yes,
I have one hundred percent think it's starting to get
(27:44):
a little where you kind of start to they rub
you a little bit wrong, where they get a little
too big for their breeches, you know. And I think
if she just reels it back and gets back to
the Angie we all love. But yeah, she's starting to
get that big head, big old head.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Do you think that's what Mary may be sing? Because
Mary's frustration with Angie came to a head, right, Monica,
so range in.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
This episode, listen what I loved about last season.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Monica then watched that season on the other her first
friend drops. Yeah, Mary's relationship with Angie they became very close,
and there was an episode last season where they had
a tear drinker moment where Mary was dealing with Robert Jr.
She only confided Angie about what was going on with
Robert Jr.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
On the finale trip.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
They got to a little bit of a disagreement and
Mary said, you know.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Pretty much, I felt like you were like a sister
to me, you know some Yeah, and they cried and
they hugged it out.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
This episode, you know, you saw this tension between Mary
and Angie to the point where they do get into it.
And because Mary's trying to tell Angie like calm down,
like sit this.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
One out, you have this blind.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Rage and angrew response to her was pretty much saying,
like you always have. Lisa's back and that's when and
that's when I'm sorry. Mary said that I'm done with you.
Yeah w and she walks off. And I felt that
walk up was very interesting. Do you think Mary feels like, hmmm,
(29:33):
Angie just isn't the same woman she was last year
and she's doing the most and I don't recognize it.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
You know, I have so much respect for the fact
that Mary, and her confessional, I think it was I
believe it was in her confessional said I'm just because
you're not talking to Lisa doesn't mean I'm not going
to talk to Lisa. Or just because you're not friends
with someone doesn't mean I'm not going to be friends
with someone. Because I do feel like, at least in
my experience, especially with this cast, that's kind of how

they play it behind the scenes, like hello, I was
completely iced out. So for me, I've seen that firsthand,
and you can't have that. It can't be like, oh,
we all hate this person, so we're going to be
united in this and we all you know, there's no
show with that. There's not. And so I do appreciate
the fact that Mary did stand up to Angie in
that moment, as any friend should like a real friend
(30:24):
is going to call you to the Karpa on your
shit right when you don't want to hear it. They'll
say things that you need to hear. And I do
feel like that felt very That felt very real, and
she was clearly not down with the bullshit that Angie
was was throwing. And it was probably it probably was.
It was probably like you're doing too much. You're doing
(30:47):
too much, take it back, and then don't come for
me in your rage, you know. And I think Mary
was totally valid in that, and that's that felt real.
That moment felt real to me.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
I thought that was the realist moment in the episode. Besides,
Brad went learning from the.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Intuitive consultant about what was going on with her mother
and the blood world. Try to tell the girls like,
I have to receive this news about my mom and
I'm dealing with this issue with my dad.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
You all need to calm down. They fight anyway, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
You know, I do feel like, what's what's missing that
I want them to get back to again. It's the
only episode that it happened, so I'll give them grace.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
It's oya.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Yeah, with Monica, this particular episode was too much fighting
and rage, and I want to be able to believe
that you ladies are able to have moments of resolve.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
And if there is fighting is.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Because there's something significant that happened. And now Monica who
clocked it that? I'm like, oh, now get it. I
think Meredith is just over the constant fighting because she's like,
at what point did we just.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Laugh half on?
Speaker 4 (32:07):
Right?

For real though? Yeah, Like honestly, I just I look,
you can even do it in a crazy episode. I
feel like the sound bath is a perfect example of
that from season four where you have this fight with
me and Lisa, but there's so much comic relief in it.

Do you know what I mean? The comic relief. I
was not relieved comically. It was in the whole episode, Carlos.
This one lunch was the whole episode, which I feel
like is happening a lot with so far, Like I
feel like, yeah, I don't know.

What's because the lunch was it was act like yeah
episode and then like half of another episode yeah. And
the first episode, the r V Trip was the entire episode. Yes,
and I as you and I want to get back
to like again. I thought the last couple of episodes

were like awesomeness, like personal story and.

Get some tension.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
And again, my favorite argument so far is Bronavat and
Lisa's because to me, that was like real and you
could tell there was anger there and that's why episode
two was great.

But in this one, yeah, I I I.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, it just it was it was just too much
that I I just feel like it's becoming too performative
and I do want to laugh.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Listen. They tried their best with the whole suit man did.

Yeah, I didn't get that said either.

So Brona didn't get it either because when they asked
her profession, she could not even explain it. And I'm like, so, yeah,
I feel like I feel like she was doing something
out there just so because Dick, Yeah, like doubt Dick.
It was like, yes, these rehearsed reads aren't like you
think they are.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
Yes, yes, which I swear we talked about last time too,
where we were like, is this feeling like a little Yeah. Honestly,
I feel like the funniest thing that was said in
the whole episode was when Lisa first got to the
restaurant and she said keep it running and don't drive far,
because you know, she is about to go and she

was dead ass serious. She would know, she knew Carlos,
she knew she was about to walk into some more bullshit.
One hundred Yeah.

Yeah, No, I think that was the most real thing.
But no, listen, Like said, I couldnot agree with Monica more.
This episode was a lot to handle.
