Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housebots in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in
(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hey, rain drops of today's episode of Reality with the King,
the Queen Monica Garthia and this day and we are here.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yes, girlfriend, we're here to recap.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I'm too excited because we're recapping the latest episode of
the Real house bat of Selic City.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
But you're real good, got like hello, Coda. Is it
cold in Salt Lake right now?
Speaker 1 (01:01):
It's razing.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
It has been raining all day. It's supposed to rain
like most of the rest of the week. It is
like it is sweater weather over here.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Honey, Yes, yeah, you love good And I must say
this episode we have a lot to get into because
it will us Look, you're checking your hip, Monica, this
episode is a girl.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
I'm look, Carlos, I've actually been dying to talk to
you about this because I feel like I'm tripping, Like
is every episode is just rage. I feel like there's
no break from the fights, Like there's no where's look
the what old school housewife fan here? Okay? I know
(01:51):
she's a fan. Yes, bitch, I'm a fan. And I
love like the fights, the resolution, the fun the fight,
the resolution, the fun. You know, it's like this little
rollercoaster where you have like the chaos and the naked, wasted,
drunk crap happening and jumping in the pool and like
(02:14):
the stupid fights. I made it nice and you know,
all the things. But I just feel like with this
right now, it's just fight, fight, fight, fight fight, there's
no like I'm not getting a breather Maybe that's the word.
Where's the breather of like camaraderie and girl time and
(02:36):
right am I like am I saying you are.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Listen o yuch and and listen. I saw I was
going to be the only one who was going to
just say like this episode was just okay to me
at Im over the screaming.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
I'm over the shouting. I'm just over it. So listen.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's interesting that you say that because again the beauty
of having you recap the Salt Lake City with me.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Which, by the way, right drops Monica has a grade
to do it weekly.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
I love, buddy, I love It's gonna be so fine.
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yes, yeah, so I'm screaming. I'm screaming.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
I love the fact that you said at first, because look,
I sometimes get read because you know, I talked about
the premier episode. I was like, look, it was fine.
I just told us too much. Yeah, and let's just
get into what it's saying. Yes, I could not agree
with you more, Monica.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I look, I love the show. I love the cat.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
This is episode what I think, like five or something,
and I'm having a hard time watching through these scenes
because it's starting to become a bit performative to me,
and I feel like either the ladies are being told
(04:16):
to fight more or the ladies feel like that's what
we want to see.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I enjoyed the we didn't recap this episode, girl, but
when Brahma and Lisa Brala got into it, that to
me was iconic. It was good, it was real. I
loved it. I'm like, my girls are back. This is good.
This is least an Angie fight that keeps happening.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
It should have been resolved in the last episode, and
I'm not sure where it's coming from. And my concern
is it's becoming a bit performative.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
And I love me some Angie. K.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
This is the first time that I questioned whether or
not Angie was happ think of the whole time.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
I I'm so glad you're saying, look, here's the thing.
I got drug okay for filth on my season with
people always saying all she does is scream, all she
does is yell D D D. So we all know,
let's just call it what it is. We all know
I'm gonna say it. We all know Housewife can't. Fans
(05:21):
can be extremely hypocritical, right They ride for me and
they'll attack the one they hate for the same exact thing.
That's fine, okay, all day every day, we're all hypocritical.
But this, this really is every episode, the entire episode,
it's I just feel like it's non stop screaming and
(05:44):
yelling and fighting on repeat of the same thing. And
I just it's it's it's a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
It's no, no, no, no, no, listen, I need watching. Yeah,
So look, let's get right into it.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Because the episode pretty much begins, so the ladies are
you know, at this pretty much you know, lunch table,
let's call the stable outdoors, and my fighting started to
send some acting. When Britney was questioning Angie about the house,
(06:21):
she listed why she wasn't used as an agent, the
house being overpriced, and look, that's an interesting.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Conversation I have, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (06:32):
There was something in the dialect of Britney questioning it
an Angie response like it's a four point five minute
dollar house.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
You know the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
But then I used to and I felt like, I
just don't think Britney would care as much as to
why Angie did not have her be her.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Real estate agent. When yeah, when I'm like, Brittany, you
just got here, you.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Just got to the school, I'm like, why would she?
Who would think?
Speaker 6 (07:02):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:03):
She would not ask you in no, no way. Well,
and then when she was reading it, she's like, oh,
there's been a price reduction. That's not good. I was
just like, what.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Is this selling?
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Sunset of heid am I'm gonna keep behind Brothers.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Enter the scene like am I watching a real estate show?
Is Josh Autman there fucking is JA from OC? Why
am I watching a real estate show? I cannot understand it.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
It was it was super weird to me that this
this petty argument that was about to arise or about
real estate. This didn't make any sense to me, it
felt that. And then they said, okay, let's bring up
something else, and it was a random ass transition where
(07:58):
Whitney talked about how Jared, which is Britney's boyfriend, smoke
to Whitney's husband and pretty much was saying like, look,
he's dropped thousands of dollars on Brittany and she only
gets back to him for vacations and gives.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
And I'm like, first of all, let's.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Be clear, I would have brothers seeing that scene in
real time. We got used as a flashback.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Yeah, yes, I'm surprised that that wasn't that. Yeah that
I will say, Okay, I have to say this because
I don't fuck with miss gay. I don't fuck with her.
But when she said what Britney said, he took me
to Vegas and other said that's not a vacation, that's
a road trip.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
I was I get.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
No, no, I can give it where it's deal, honey.
And that was hilarious. I'm like, no, low, Ki, that
is that is a road trip. That's that was so funny.
I'm like that didn't get enough credit. That was hilarious.
But yeah, I can't believe they didn't show that conversation happening.
(09:16):
That's tea right there, Like are you saying you're supporting
her lifestyle? Because then Brittany said, you know, if he
buys me dinner, but then it escalated Okay, he buys
me clothes or at bags or Okay, so then we're like,
you know, like that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, we're climbing the Yes.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yes, I feel like we need to dig into that deeper.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (09:44):
No, no, for sure because the the sort of like
rumor about Brittany is that she's a gold digger.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Do you do you know Brittany at all? Hadn't been
around her.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
No, I didn't know that. I had no idea. I
have not heard that. I didn't even know she was
in real estate though, so.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
I really didn't.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I had no idea. I was like, waites she an
agent because they don't even talk about that on the show,
do they.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
I'm so this is the best episode so far because
me and you are on the same page.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
I have to tell you I had no idea that
was real estate agent until this episode.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
That's not you know what that's like. I'm like, wait,
you're a real estate agent.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
The Jessica Simpson hair extensions that I agent.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
And I like Brittany, I think, but.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Oh I had no idea. I was so thrown Yeah,
so yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Now that was that was that was used to me.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
So listen, yeah, if Monica Garci.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
And I had no idea that Brittany was a real
estate agent, the motherfucker ANDNGI did not either, So we'll
give any.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Let's saying.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Okay, So as we talked about last week, it came
to him in this episode, Meredith Mark. Before I get
to that, I'm concerned for Meredith. She's giving frienda.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Vibes this season, you think.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Missing Meredith is like, it's not present, like the fact
that look, we see Meredith confront Lisa and say, look, Lisa,
I was told that, you know, I need to know
whether or not be trying to spread rumors about me,
(12:07):
and all of a sudden, Lisa's like, oh, who told
you that? Satan looking at Angie and I'm like, well,
first of all, unless I.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Miss this you tell me I got this wrong.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I don't think Meredith said that Angie told her this right?
Speaker 4 (12:26):
No, no, unless that got edited out. It was like
she didn't say it, and then she's like, I don't
know what you're talking about. And then she said, but
it looks like Satan might. Yes.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Yes, it was the admission of guilt because she never
said Angie's name.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Lisa was like the look on Satan's face and for me,
rain drops listen up.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
That was Angie admitting that she told.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
That was Lisa admitting she told Angie this because yeah, obviously.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
She knew exactly, she knew exactly who to go to exactly.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
And I'm like, that's that's guilt. Yes, what are we
thinking about here?
Speaker 8 (13:13):
But look into like the beginning of this argument that
ensued the forty two minutes of the episode, But Monica,
after Angie stood up for herself, Meredith was newhere to
be found, and I'm like, oh, yeah, when it comes
to Meredith, I think merediths.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Snowflake is on the chopping block.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
No, so, so is that why we're having these crazy
fights every episode because they're like fighting for their position?
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Like I think they're all fighting for their position. I
think there's so many housewives. I think Brittany obviously wants
to be a housewive. I think I think what's wrong
with this season? To me, listen, let me be clear.
Season the first episode wasn't great to me. The rest
of them happened great.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Yeah, this episode to me was disjointed.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Yeah, listen, I'm still watching obviously, But what I will
say is this episode to me screened that we're all
fighting for our snowflake, and I just thought, wow, there,
where where have you been? And it's funny because once
again I'm gonna give her her props because we're not haters.
Heather Gay clocked it again and she said the Meredith
(14:31):
that we all know would have never let Lisa off
the hook, and we just don't understand why that's happening,
why she.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Did say that. She did say that, And I was
shocked that Heather actually said that, to be completely honest,
because I know that Meredith and Heather had have been good,
So that kind of seemed like, you know, shade for sure,
(14:58):
and it's very true. It is very true. I do
feel like, I mean, look at obviously season four in
Palm Springs at the dinner, you can leave, right, the rumors,
the nastiness. I mean, miss girl was closed all the
way in. She wasn't letting up on anybody for anything,
(15:19):
and so I mean maybe she's just Yeah, I mean
it's a very very valid point that you bring, because
right after she said that, it was it was instantly
Angie and Lisa and whatever from there, and you know,
that was it. She brought it to the table and
then that was kind of it. Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
Yeah, because the thing is this the America that I've
seen in the past, like you said, lead right, and
how she just she really does get activated. She does
this thing like herself. And my spidey senses tell me,
and you and I did touch on this last week. Yeah,
my senses tell me that Lisa and Meredith have a
(16:02):
pack that we will not go against each other because
we know way too much and we just have to
like be on the same page.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Unfortunately, Angie didn't.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Like get that memo, because girlfriend, I believe one hundred
percent that Lisa Barlotto Angie this shit.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
And I believe that.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
There's zero doubt in my mind that that happened because
I've experienced it as well. So there's I don't doubt
that for a second. No, and I do. I do
think that Meredith knows that Meredith knows. Meredith knows. Meredith
is so smart and so uh. She's kind of she's silent,
(16:47):
but she's taking it all in and she is processing,
and she is you know, she knows what she has
told people. She knows what Lisa has on her. So
therefore she knows if Angie is dropping ABC, and she
knows what Lisa knows about ABC. Angie had to have
(17:07):
heard it from Lisa, you know what I mean, Like
she knows that Meredith knows what the fuck's up. She knows.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Do you think Meredith is scared of the wrath of
Lisa Barlowe?
Speaker 4 (17:23):
I actually don't. I don't think that she is scared
of Lisa barlow I Meredith is a force. She There's
some stuff that happened on season four that didn't get aired,
like it was filmed, but it was never aired. And
she don't play man. I mean, she will come correct
(17:45):
every damn time. And I don't think she's scared of
Lisa barlow I think maybe she maybe she's tired, Maybe
she's tired.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Tell me more, tell me more because you've been around her.
I saw a TV your experience.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
No no at at a praise Ski. Okay, when everything
was going on with the whole the rumors about Sean
and then Angie and Meredith started getting into it. At
the end, there's this whole fight that takes place that
never made it to air, where Meredith is like yelling
(18:34):
at Heather, get the papers, get the papers. We've got
stuff on you, let's show it, pull it up. I mean,
she is going nuts. They cut it all out. She
had all these documents ready to drop on Angie K's ass, honey,
and they didn't show any of it. So Meredith doesn't play.
(18:55):
She's not scared of anyone. She will. You want to
talk about someone that will go the distance, honey, Meredith
is one that will go the motherfucking distance, bitch, and
she will get you every damn time. So I'm just like,
maybe Meredith is just kind of like I'm over it.
I don't I don't know. Maybe she's just like, yeah,
I'm tired of this ship, like because she she's Yeah,
(19:20):
she's fierce, man, She's like, Meredith is fierce. She really is.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Listen, I can see it. I believe it, and I
know that I've watched the show. I'm obsessed with you.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Yeah, I love mere Mark. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I confused as to why she hasn't been activated this
season so far.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Yeah, I think you're right.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
I think at some point you're sort of like, I'm exhausted,
I'm tired. I'm exhausted of this ship, and maybe that's
what it is. And look, I think if that's the case,
more power to her to be like, I'm.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Not doing that.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Give that ship to Angie, to Lisa. Yeah, Britney thirsty,
I love you, Brittany. Your thirsty is not a problem, sister.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
You know, clinta thirst But I think Marev's like, I'm good.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Yeah, honestly, she's like, I'm a DJ. I got money,
money for real, I don't need this shit Like you
got it, Angie. You got a girl like I'm out.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
What did you think about Angie throwing her black as
cards across the table?
Speaker 4 (20:30):
If that, if she stands up, Carlos, I swear to
god you someone needs to take a shot. Every time
she stands up across the table, we will be fucking
drunk as shit by the end of every episode she
is standing up across the table, somebody roll it, roll
roll flage of every time she stands up at the table.
(20:51):
I'm just like, here we go again, Like I can't,
I can't, I really can't. It's like, it's when are
we going to acknowledge that we're watching this same episode
every week and this is the thing. People will say,
you're just a hater, you're mad because you're not there.
Da da da da da. Tell me I'm wrong. We
(21:13):
are fighting and we are standing across from tables every
week right now. It's true. It's true.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
All the last week you said Angie stands up all
the time, and I'm like, I was laughing at it.
So when I saw it, it's a nice episode.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
I'm my god, I cannot It's just I mean, look,
Angie is clearly. Can I say something. I would love
to see this thing when Jenshaw walks through the fucking door,
if they bring her ass back and see how big
(21:53):
she is in that moment, because I think Angie's getting
a little and I know you know this, you're in production.
I know you see when they get a little a
little carried away with themselves, a little big headed, and
they need a little humbling. And I think that's what's happening.
And I think I think Angie's gonna meet her match.
(22:17):
I think she's gonna meet her match if they bring
Jen back. And I think we're gonna see some real
shit if that happens, because right now Angie thinks she's
big dog man. She's just she's fighting with Wendy's out
in these streets. She is coming for Wendy's. Did you
see that on Twitter?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
I did.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Listen the fact that so ray jobs they catch it
out on Twitter, the actual restaurant, fast food chain, Wendy's. Okay, yeah,
redhead Windy. Yes, it's a blue check on Twitter. And
when Angie said in the two episodes ago, you do
(23:00):
French fries, I do franchise, I'm not the same. Yeah,
Wendy's tweeted, we something along the lines.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Of we're canceling our appointment at Lunatic Fringe or something
like that.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Yeah, part we're going to cancel our hair appointment at
the one ye my locations of.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
Anti, which was like iconic, iconic.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Angie responded to Wendy's.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Yeah, it's like, wait, why are you like? What is
this between educated Carla?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Actual feud between these and Angie.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Okay, So this is what Angie has to say back
to Wendy's.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Yeah, she goes okay, So Wendy said, canceling my hair
appointment at Angie's one point five salons.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Salons, Angie, we posted it and responded just.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Like, I eat your French fries out of my mouth,
heat my franchise out of yours.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
I can't. I can't listen.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Listen. That was a good flap at Albodica.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
No, I'm sorry if I had to stand in the
ring Wendy's ate that up with the one point five
salon clap. That was hilarious, the one point five I cannot,
I can. But then Angie like tweeted or something and
(24:31):
was like, I don't eat at Wendy's, but I eat
them up. And I'm like, honey, no, let's yeah, exactly
exactly exactly that far, that far, And.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
That's when we stopped.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
While we're here, exactly exactly you raid.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
The very interesting question that I did want to ask you,
And a part of me thought that this was the
reason that Lisa Barlow not sure if you know this, Monica,
but uh oh, filming this current season that we're watching,
Lisa Barlow held out for more money.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Allegedly.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
I did hear that.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Okay, Okay, I did hear that.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
So allegedly she wasn't filming for a few weeks she
wanted more money. There are conversations, right, and I want
to get your.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Insight on this.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Okay, I'm hearing that some now all but some of
the girls weren't too pleased that Angie has censer snowflake.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
Last season and she got again this season.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yeah, and allegedly, allegedly, allegedly, Lisa Barlow felt that, Look,
I'm gonna start of the show, why is Angie getting everything?
And some people some people wonder if getting center snowflake
and getting the attention has.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Gotten too Angie's head.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Do you think that's the case with Angie and that's
what you're seeing as you're watching this season.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
I do, I do. I think we're kind of seeing
a little bit of like a Heather situation where Heather
kind of kind of changed, right. I think that's fair
to say from who people loved in season one two
to who we get now is not they don't feel
(26:34):
the same way. And I think that's happening with with
Angie a little bit. When we were filming. There was
a time that Angie and I filmed solo. It was
after the Greek Easter, and after filming had wrapped, we
had a conversation and I told her, I said, you
need to step out from Lisa Barlow's shadow. I'm like,
(26:57):
you are a star all on your own. I'm like,
stop kissing her ass, Stop you know, falling in line,
stop doing like step out from under her, like you
will rise on your own. You got this. And she
was just like, thank you for saying that, And I'm like, no,
it's true. And I think we did see that one
hundred percent. We've seen Angie totally evolve from you know,
(27:21):
being Jen's friend for several seasons to them being Lisa's
friend now being center snowflake twice. And I'm the first
to admit, Carlos, I am the first to admit she
came off that bench, honey, Okay, she came off that
bench and she was doing the damn thing. But yes,
I have one hundred percent think it's starting to get
(27:44):
a little where you kind of start to they rub
you a little bit wrong, where they get a little
too big for their breeches, you know. And I think
if she just reels it back and gets back to
the Angie we all love. But yeah, she's starting to
get that big head, big old head.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Do you think that's what Mary may be sing? Because
Mary's frustration with Angie came to a head, right, Monica,
so range in.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
This episode, listen what I loved about last season.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Monica then watched that season on the other her first
friend drops. Yeah, Mary's relationship with Angie they became very close,
and there was an episode last season where they had
a tear drinker moment where Mary was dealing with Robert Jr.
She only confided Angie about what was going on with
Robert Jr.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
On the finale trip.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
They got to a little bit of a disagreement and
Mary said, you know.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Pretty much, I felt like you were like a sister
to me, you know some Yeah, and they cried and
they hugged it out.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
This episode, you know, you saw this tension between Mary
and Angie to the point where they do get into it.
And because Mary's trying to tell Angie like calm down,
like sit this.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
One out, you have this blind.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Rage and angrew response to her was pretty much saying,
like you always have. Lisa's back and that's when and
that's when I'm sorry. Mary said that I'm done with you.
Yeah w and she walks off. And I felt that
walk up was very interesting. Do you think Mary feels like, hmmm,
(29:33):
Angie just isn't the same woman she was last year
and she's doing the most and I don't recognize it.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
You know, I have so much respect for the fact
that Mary, and her confessional, I think it was I
believe it was in her confessional said I'm just because
you're not talking to Lisa doesn't mean I'm not going
to talk to Lisa. Or just because you're not friends
with someone doesn't mean I'm not going to be friends
with someone. Because I do feel like, at least in
my experience, especially with this cast, that's kind of how
(30:02):
they play it behind the scenes, like hello, I was
completely iced out. So for me, I've seen that firsthand,
and you can't have that. It can't be like, oh,
we all hate this person, so we're going to be
united in this and we all you know, there's no
show with that. There's not. And so I do appreciate
the fact that Mary did stand up to Angie in
that moment, as any friend should like a real friend
(30:24):
is going to call you to the Karpa on your
shit right when you don't want to hear it. They'll
say things that you need to hear. And I do
feel like that felt very That felt very real, and
she was clearly not down with the bullshit that Angie
was was throwing. And it was probably it probably was.
It was probably like you're doing too much. You're doing
(30:47):
too much, take it back, and then don't come for
me in your rage, you know. And I think Mary
was totally valid in that, and that's that felt real.
That moment felt real to me.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
I thought that was the realist moment in the episode. Besides,
Brad went learning from the.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Intuitive consultant about what was going on with her mother
and the blood world. Try to tell the girls like,
I have to receive this news about my mom and
I'm dealing with this issue with my dad.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
You all need to calm down. They fight anyway, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
You know, I do feel like, what's what's missing that
I want them to get back to again. It's the
only episode that it happened, so I'll give them grace.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
It's oya.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Yeah, with Monica, this particular episode was too much fighting
and rage, and I want to be able to believe
that you ladies are able to have moments of resolve.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
And if there is fighting is.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Because there's something significant that happened. And now Monica who
clocked it that? I'm like, oh, now get it. I
think Meredith is just over the constant fighting because she's like,
at what point did we just.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Laugh half on?
Speaker 4 (32:07):
Right?
Speaker 6 (32:08):
No?
Speaker 4 (32:08):
For real though? Yeah, Like honestly, I just I look,
you can even do it in a crazy episode. I
feel like the sound bath is a perfect example of
that from season four where you have this fight with
me and Lisa, but there's so much comic relief in it.
(32:28):
Do you know what I mean? The comic relief. I
was not relieved comically. It was in the whole episode, Carlos.
This one lunch was the whole episode, which I feel
like is happening a lot with so far, Like I
feel like, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
What's because the lunch was it was act like yeah
episode and then like half of another episode yeah. And
the first episode, the r V Trip was the entire episode. Yes,
and I as you and I want to get back
to like again. I thought the last couple of episodes
(33:10):
were like awesomeness, like personal story and.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Get some tension.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
And again, my favorite argument so far is Bronavat and
Lisa's because to me, that was like real and you
could tell there was anger there and that's why episode
two was great.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
But in this one, yeah, I I I.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, it just it was it was just too much
that I I just feel like it's becoming too performative
and I do want to laugh.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Listen. They tried their best with the whole suit man did.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Yeah, I didn't get that said either.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
So Brona didn't get it either because when they asked
her profession, she could not even explain it. And I'm like, so, yeah,
I feel like I feel like she was doing something
out there just so because Dick, Yeah, like doubt Dick.
It was like, yes, these rehearsed reads aren't like you
think they are.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
Yes, yes, which I swear we talked about last time too,
where we were like, is this feeling like a little Yeah. Honestly,
I feel like the funniest thing that was said in
the whole episode was when Lisa first got to the
restaurant and she said keep it running and don't drive far,
because you know, she is about to go and she
(34:30):
was dead ass serious. She would know, she knew Carlos,
she knew she was about to walk into some more bullshit.
One hundred Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
Yeah, No, I think that was the most real thing.
But no, listen, Like said, I couldnot agree with Monica more.
This episode was a lot to handle.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
There is a lot drops. Let Monica and I know
what you think about it.
