Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in
(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. Hey, rain drops up today's episode The
Reality with the King. Hit the Road, Jacks and don't
you come back no more? No more, No more, no more?
(00:48):
Hit the Road, Jacks. Hey, and don't you come back
no More? But Britney stays Jacks. I'm just saying, bro,
after this finale, I see why the Walking papers were
(01:08):
FedEx laminated, delivered by the late Ed McMahon with no
million dollar check in toe. So let's just get right
into the epicness that was the Valley finale. So Jacks
Taylor decided to hop on Bravo and tried to read
Danny of Danny's alleged drinking problems, which was literally the
(01:34):
most ironic thing I have seen on this network. And
what was so ironic about it is the elephant in
the room. The phone is ringing from inside the house Jacks.
I applaud Jacks for going to rehap and yes, I'm
aware that allegedly or supposedly it wasn't for drinking. But
(01:58):
everybody has said that Jack's has had issues with substance,
whether it was drugs, alcohol. He's saying anger was his
main thing. A lot of the people on the show
are saying the substance is what created the anger in Jackson.
(02:21):
But still Jack's felt the need to read Danny. But
before he did that, he's talking to the guys and
he said that Danny is two face and is a
drunk who can barely walk out of the bar. He
also accused Danny of filling up girls in his bar.
(02:42):
Where do we go from here? Jacks is one of
those people where he feels like, if you're going to
tell on my tea, I'm going to tell yours. Jacks
is one of those people where because his problems have exposed,
he wants everybody to be exposed. I'm not saying Danny
(03:05):
does not have a drinking problem. What I am saying, though,
is based on what we've seen on the show, Danny
doesn't appear to have an ounce of the behavior that
we've seen Jack have a bravo from that the Plump
Rules to the Valley and his behavior in rehab when
he's calling Brittany, harassing her and having the camera us
(03:27):
watch her. Okay, I think that's the difference. Jack is
that guy who, like, you know, when a husband what
a coplay concert, you know what a husband is called
cheating and the whole town talks about it. And the
(03:48):
next thing you know, he's exposing all the men who
cheat on their wives. And it's like, why are you
talking about me? Like, ah, I didn't tell Chris Martin
to expose you jump Atron, Like, why are you exposing
my affairs? I feel like Jacks is exposing what he
believes danny affairs is with alcohol, and that to me
(04:13):
was just gross because based on the show, I always
felt that the cast wanted Jack to get better, and
it wasn't about exposing him for embarrassment. It was always
exposing him to be a better person. That's the difference.
Jack's your friends were exposing you for embarrassment, they were
(04:37):
exposing you to be a better person. What you're doing
to Danny to me is just for the embarrassment, and
I actually felt bad for Danny. Danny seems like a
great guy. If Danny has a drinking problem, then there's
a way that you talk to him about it. But
(04:57):
talking to him about it in front of the group
was just bad. And when they met up with each
other at the party, the Zim Party, that wasn't so zen.
That's when Jack's confronted. Danny called him a terrible drunk,
telling him that he touches girls in appropriately. And what
(05:19):
I loved about Danny he never denied it. He owned it.
He said that half of a year ago and it
was dealt with. And I thought to myself, that's the
difference between Danny and Ajax, because Baby, you need a declanse.
(05:43):
Ajax always finds any excuse for his behavior instead of
only up to it. That's the difference. Even when Ajax
is talking to Brittany and he again when he was
talking to the guys in the first seeing the episode
(06:03):
about like Brittany calling him as she's planting flowers in
the front yard and He's like, oh, why are you
showing me this? Good luck paying the mortgage? What does
that have to do with Brittany showing you the garden.
(06:24):
So again, when you confronted Brittany at this party, all
you're doing is bringing up finances. And that's why I
love that. Brittany said, I sent you the garden photos
because you said I couldn't do this without you, and
I am. And he's like, well you're now is I'm
paying forward? Good luck with that. Jack felt like because
(06:46):
he had money, he was able to control Brittany and
hold it over her head. And that's why I appreciate
that Brittany exposed his narcissism and gaslighting when she revealed
that their mortgage was eight thousand dollars and that Jack's
allegedly owed over a million dollars in back taxes that
(07:08):
he needed paid for for years. Allegedly, that's what Brittany says.
I'm just recapping when she said child. But because she
was married to him and that's her husband and she
wanted to help him, she decided that due to the
penalties that accumulated his back taxes to be over a million,
(07:29):
that they decided to pretty much put it on the house,
and that the mortgage went from eight thousand to seventeen
a little over a double I now have a greater
understanding of what Brittany had to go through, the fact
that she sacrificed her own financial status, her credit. Let's
(07:52):
have a real conversation, okay, to make sure that her
husband had a chance to right his wrongs. And the
only thing Jackson is able to do is gas like
her and make it seem like she's this awful person
(08:13):
and mother. And that's the difference, Jacks, between you and Danny.
At least Danny owned up to it, and I was
impressed by that because he look no shame. He didn't
have to because guess what, as a reality star that
I know, just like Niiny Leaks told Porsche on this
(08:36):
Season eight reunion when she told Porsche you gotta stop
fighting people. You gotta stop it. It's not a good
look for you. And Porsche said, well, didn't you choke somebody?
And Lenithia Monique Johnson Leak said, if I did, I
wasn't dumb enough to do it on camera. So that's
(09:01):
how Danny feels. He's like, Danny didn't have to say
it because it did not happen on camera, but he
owned up to it, and I appreciated that he actually
owned up to it, and that's the difference between Danny
and Ajax. But to see Ajax, it's just I just
(09:21):
don't get it, just like I don't get why Kim
Zoziak wants to meet with him for dinner. That comes
up in the reunion next week. But I just have
to gag with that one. Hey, Kim Zozak, I love you.
I don't understand why Kim Zoziak wants to meet up
with Jack Child. That is not the person from the
Valley I want to meet with. I want to meet
(09:43):
with Jesse Lally. I want to meet with Zach. I
think Zach is hilarious. Will get to his behavior and
his outburst. Honey, I like ZAXX. He's a good time. Jasmine,
I want to hang out with her. Did I say,
Jesse Jesse, FYI, you've got some competition because Ryan from
(10:19):
the Orange County is trying to beat you as the
hottest person, I mean, the hottest man on Bravo. I'm
just saying, a child, Jesse Lally, you got some competition
between you and Ryan, Honey, but Rain draws. Let me
know who's hotter, Jesse Lally or Ryan from Orange County.
(10:46):
I love a pole p O l L. Anyways, so
I digress. Let's get back to the show. I do
want to get into Jesse and Michelle. Speaking of Jesse, look,
I do be this. I love seeing Jesse and Michelle
(11:07):
have a mature conversation based on where things are in
their relationship because at the end of the day, they
are raising a beautiful young girl, and when you have
a child that young, the best thing you can do
(11:28):
is be the best co parents to each other because
kids her age can feel the energy good or bad,
and I would rather that smart little girl to feel
the good energy. So I appreciated that Jesse. Hey a
Jax another one. Jesse took full accountability. Even told Michelle,
(11:50):
this divorce is not your fault, it's our fault, and
he gets emotional as he's saying it, like that's the
redemption that I think we all wanted, at least for Jack's.
I think we were all proud that, when I think
everybody was. We were all proud that Jack decided to
(12:12):
go to rehab because it shows responsibility and accountability, and
that's tough. A lot of people just would never go.
So I'm happy that he decided to go. But to
leave rehab and still be an asshole. It's like you
did nothing there except used it as room and board,
(12:35):
Like the work clearly wasn't being taken seriously because you
got out of rehab still being an asshole, Whereas you
see Jesse emoting to his strange wife that this divorce
is not your fault. I take full of countability for
(12:56):
my actions in this. And it was nice to see
the joke at the end about it, like just have
a a good situation. I really enjoy that. And it's
sad that Jacks could not take a page out of
the Book of Accountability that Jesse, Lally and Danny wrote
(13:18):
the forward for just saying it would have been nice
to see that, but he doesn't want to do that,
and I think a lot of that had to do
with the fate of his demise on the show. And
as the three part reunion is coming up and he
(13:39):
has first chair, I it's just sad to see him
not being able to finish the two shows he's been on.
And honestly, rain drops, I have no idea where Jacks
can go from here. I don't know. I'm a producer
(14:02):
and I can't even tell you. Besides House villains. I
just don't know what more he can do, and I
don't see a world where they're going to bring him back.
I'm me love child. They brought back Lala Honey and
filmed with her newborn baby, which to me was sort
of a way of telling us the audience that Jackson
(14:24):
is out, that Lala's in Honey. I feel like Laala's
about the joint next season. That's the full time cast member.
She's great television, she has a hit podcast, she's beautiful,
she's great look, She's great TV. So I my advice
(14:45):
to you, Lala, if you're listening, just don't bring the
same old stick to the Valley that you kind of
had your ladd Oft season on BPR, because one thing
about the Valley is super organic. It's I feel like
it's super real. Not saying you were being real, but
I don't need anybody playing up to the cameras like
(15:07):
the Valley cast, to me, is one of the best
cast on the network. And I don't want La La
to come in thinking this is like VPR because we
don't need that. But I would love for the record
to see, you know, La La back, And I thought
it was a big deal that the cameras were able
to show her newborn baby. I really, really, really enjoy that.
(15:33):
What I did not enjoy was Janet missus Jackson if
nasty baby. They don't like you, and you don't like them,
and you need to go, Janet. I don't know where
you can go from here. Baby. They don't like you boo,
and rightfully so, because you're kind of just like you know,
(15:55):
you know, Jenna, you're.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Kind of unlikable baby, and and maybe there's a redemption
arc at the reunion, but they don't like you, especially
my boy Zach.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Zach gave me. Zach belongs on the Real Housewives of
New Jersey Baby Past Zach and this Zach is hilarious.
He's dramatic, his eyes pop out of his socket. He's emotional,
he cries, he yells child. He's mad at Britney Honey
(16:32):
for having Janice back and acts if she was under
the same spell. He's telling her, I need your help, Brittany,
what are you doing here? His boyfriend tries to console him.
Zach was giving me all of the things that I needed.
I think he's hilarious, and I think he's fantastic television,
(16:52):
and I think he's the future of the valley. I
love Zach. Zach's a hot mess. But I the thing
Janet that I will say. Even when she tried to
apologize to Nia, I don't know, uh. I felt like
there was a part of me that felt like, did
(17:12):
the producers tell you, Like, Janet, girl, we are trying
so hard to make you like a boat, please apologize
to Nia. Let's put the double A batteries in your back.
Let us spend you around like the Megan Doll in
the Horror movie and let you run into the rs
(17:33):
of Nia like a Celine Dion song in Vegas, and
see if you have the capabilities to be warm. And
the moments he tried baby, Nia's like, I'm not here
for it. Nia feels like Jana's actions just are have
been too unbelievable and it's going to be a hard
(17:57):
he'll for her to swallow. And I understand that Janet
has a lot of work to do in order to
be back friends without or look, Janet can own up
to being a villain, and if that's the case, then
do it. But if you're going to be the villain,
you really have to just run with it. And I
(18:18):
know you studied reality television, but all the great villains
have owned it and understood the assignment. Jacks is the
longer on the show anymore, so there is room Janet
for the villain role a lot the application. Okay, I
(18:39):
would be one of your references that you need to
put down and I will advocate for you to be
the villain to replace Jacks. I want to see Janet
a while I get into it. I do because Kristen
tried to read the girl, and Kristen does a good
job at it. But Baby, no one can read of
the girls on this type of show. Then Lalla, so
(19:03):
rain Drops, let me know if you two will love
to see a read session between Janet and La La
next season. Hit me up in the comments. Okay, But
what I will say is this the Valley congratulations on
an epic season two. This cast, I mean tens across
(19:27):
the board. It's a very interesting, dynamic, dysfunctional group of
people that I'm invested in. So I tipped my hat
off to the epicness and the wonderfulness of Jesse Lally Beatrin.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
The Valley.
