RHOA season 16 has officially ended and here to recap the part 3 reunion with Carlos is Dustin & Claudia. We have had such a great time watching and breaking it all down for the Reigndrops! No surprise, the Porsha vs. Shamea saga continues to unfold. The receipts are rolling in, and they seem to favor one side more than the other... How did the men hold up in the hot seat? And what advice does Carlos have for the cast heading into next season?

and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in

addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. So before we get into recapping the
Real Housewives of Atlanta Part three reunion, we first need
to talk about some things that broke the Internet over
the weekend. Let's get started. Klaudia, our friend Kendlmoorg went

on live to discuss the fact that she will not
be returning as of now to she was season seventeen
of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She said, as of now,
she did not receive a phone call, a pickup letter, nothing,
so she takes it as as of now, that's not happening.

But before Kenya decided to hit stop on the YouTube
live recording, she did reveal some information that according to
things she's heard, that two new women will be joining
the Real house Watch of Atlanta. Kenya Moore did not
reveal names. She said one woman is a business woman

and that the other woman is a former Love and
Hip Hop star. She did not stay names. From there,
the rumor meal exploded and everybody has said that the
rumor is the new two cast members entering season seventeen
is Pinky Cole, who is an entrepreneur that created the

Slow Being in brand. She's married, she has children, and
she also people don't know that she's a former producer
and she's very successful. The Love and Hip Hop star.
People are saying it's kay michellek. Michelle, as you all know,
has been on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Hollywood, and

she was also on Queen's Court. Also had a bunch
of spin offs. I produced a show of hers called
Mike Killer Body with Kyman Shell for a Lifetime. She's a
household name. Qaumia. What do you think about this news
of who the potential new cast members are going to be?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
It just makes this such a different show, and I
feel like the thing has nothing to do with who
they're talking about.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Bring on the show.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I just feel like when they just it feels like
they just keep grasping at different straws every season. Let's
see if this works. Let's see if this works, and
see if this works, and we're getting away from the friendships.

If Ca, Michelle, and Picky have relationship and friendships with
the girls that are on it, then I think it
can work. But if you're just throwing people into a
pot and hoping for the best, that's the same thing
they've been doing for the last few seasons that people.
That's been the reason why in Jail, like the season
when Sonya was on all the other people.

I love Sony.

I actually recommend it Sonya, But like the you have
to have a person that like brings you in, like
there's gonna be some kind of history, you know what
I mean, or just feels disjointed and they call it
something else and just name it, give it a different
name of a show, because none of the nostalgia's there.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
You're getting rid of the old g's.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You're bringing new people, which is good if you want
to bring new energy in, I'm here for it. If
they know each other, most likely they probably know someone there.
But like if we find out like Ky Michelle and
Kelly are good friends, or you know, Porscho or whatever,
then it would make sense, like all right, cool, cool,
you know what I mean. But like it feels like
every year we're starting over, like it's season one again.
Getting to know new people and how everybody knows each other,

that's my opinion. But exciting people. These people got to
going on. They're both married. I heard Chemis show recy
was married. It's kind of like on the load they
said she got a marriage license recently in Memphis, I believe.
So I don't know much about it about that, but
I did see on Queen's Fort and I thought she
was great on the show.

So yeah, Dustan, Yeah, So let's just go candidate by candidate, right,
So we'll start with Pinky Cole. So Pinky Cole, first
of all, I know her personally in real life. She's
a friend of mine and we worked together before she
was a guest on my podcast, The Friend Zone. We
used to support her Jamaican restaurant at Harlem before she

even started Sludy Vegan.

She went on to become a multi millionaire.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Restaurant tour with the Slutty Vegan franchise, which was wildly successful,
and she's married to the owner of Dave she Steaks,
which is another very successful chain. So he's got his own,
she's got her own, and they just had three stair
step babies. Pinky and I worked together on two seasons
when I hosted bet On Black on Revolt. Pinky was

one of the judges both in season two, which I
host it, and in season three, which I host it,
so I'm very familiar with her. I'm so glad that
you highlighted the fact that Pinky has a history as
a television producer because she also understands that space in
a way that technical understanding of television production couple with
her very outgoing personality. Pinky can talk to anybody, and

she can sell water to a well. So Pinky and
she has a very original, eclectic style, and they got
the money to facilitate the authenticity we're looking for. So Pinky,
I think, great choice, and it'll be interested to see
her mess with the ladies. Claudia hit the nail on
the head when she said that there needs to be
an authentic connection with the women in order for it

to feel good for the viewers, right and for it
to make sense, because what we don't want is another
Kim Field's es pasting situation, right, So that's that. Now,
k Michelle, it's a different case. It's Ky Michelle, a
person of interest on reality TV. Yeah, she has a
history of being completely polarizing on camera, of being completely

willing to cross certain lines that most people might not.
That equates the interesting television, you know what I'm saying.
So seeing came Michelle in the mix, we know that
the confrontation piece she will be able to satisfy.

She's quick on her feet, she is witty, she says
funny things. We all across the world say shaking the
table now when something is being disrupted in a noteworthy way, right,
And that is straight up from cam Michelle's brain. So
we understand that she contributes that way in television, in
the reality television space, and we recognize the value in that.

Do I want to see.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Cay Michelle as a Real Housewife of Atlanta with what
we know on what Claudia mentioned as well, what the
show is the esteem that those women carry in their
own way, right, and the distinction that has always been
very evident between the casting decisions for Real Life of
Atlanta or Real Housewives of any city versus shows like
Love and Hip Hop or any other reality show in

the mix. They wouldn't even let Snicky be on Real
Housewives of New Jersey allegedly because of her history and
her notorious fame from Jersey Shore. They didn't think that
that aligne which is what I've heard. So we don't know, right,
I think Came I say all that to say what
I cast Came a show on the.

Real Housewives of Atlanta. Absolutely not, you know what I'm saying.
But do I also see.

A world where maybe, just maybe, you know what I'm saying,
she can bring something of interest to this show and
make it interesting again. I can see where that would exist.
And I also know that as soon as they announce
her as a housewife, she is definitely going to bring
viewership to the show. There's people who we didn't Housewives
of Atlanta that will watch if Came Michelle is actually

cast on this show. Now, speaking of Kenya Moore's live
she absolutely all but confirmed it was Cay Michelle every
other name once she made the broad stroke blind right
that someone from Love and Hip Hop was coming to
the Real house Office of Atlanta next season. Prior to
that statement, Kenya had already said that the cast was
basically set She said that they were alleged to start

filming in the next two weeks, and she literally whittled
down the casting choices between She said, one is she said,
they're both known people, right, She said, one is known.
She's a restaurant tour, basically profiling Pinky. Then she said
one comes from Love and Hip Hop. As she started
answering questions on the live people were throwing names out,
suggesting different things like Rashida and Yandy, and Kenya was

responding with no, no, not Rashida, No, not Yandy. Someone
called out ky Michelle's name and Kenya said, that's a
good guess. Then she said that the person from Love
and Hip Hop was actually a singer. So Kenya basically
confirmed in her own weapon it was allegedly came Michelle.
So we know, you know, the two choices look like.
Kenya looked like Pinky calling Cae Michelle. That's what we're

working with. So is the show gonna be good with
ky Michelle?

Yeah? I think it'll be worth watching, you know what

It just was a shocking choice to me because when
I see k Michelle, I don't think of the brand
association of Bravo and the Real Housewives of Atlanta. That's
not a slight against her, It's just I don't she
doesn't align with.

What I knew the brand to be.

But I would love to see this as an evolution
for her, you know, a new era. She got a
country record, find to come out ship, so you know,
why not Let's see what she's got.

say is Pinky's husband is in that episode, So rain

pleasure of working with her on season one where she

housewife of Atlanta. Round of applause, because in my opinion
as a producer, as a person who's worked with her,

Cay Michelle has an amazing work ethic she works. But
on top of that, what I do feel like is
missing from the house with Milanta is somebody that can
read in a funny way too, Because I feel like
the crowd Jewel will always be Niny Leaks right, Claudia

Jordan can read too, right, King you can read. I
feel like those things are missing in a in a
in a comedic way. I think ky Michelle is going
to bring back some non rehearsed reads and will be funny.
And I'm I'm thrilled to see the growth of ky Michelle.
I am still friends with ky Michelle. Well, I will

say to y'all, is this and hear me out And
it's coming from me who knows her. Ky Michelle has
grown into being this very elevated version of Kimberly, And
I'm excited not to see ky Michelle I'm excited to
see Kimberly if she's chosen to be on the show,
because I think for me there is the world of

television is changing, and like Dustin Outline and Claudia Outline
five years ago, I don't think the show will ever
be considered only because it was this mandate. And I
know this personally and professionally, not casting women who are
super popular and of the shows. But I think because
the landscape of television has changed, Dustin is raight. Ky

Michelle is going to bring an Italire fan base to
that show, and I feel like, at the end of
the day, I will always, until the end of time,
want what's best for the real houseworks of Atlanta, and
I think, if the rumors are true that is Cay,
Michelle and Pinky, I think it's a step in the
right direction.

Do you then you know who their friends with any
of the girls on the show. Do you know if
there's thirty relationships there?

The only thing I know is I know Cam Michelle
and Porsche did the Lifetime movie together with Amber Riley,

she lives in Atlanta, obviously, but she used to live
other places. But Pinky Cole runs the business streets of Atlanta.

So I think she's actually a great choice for this show.

you feel like, damn, I thought I was doing a lot.

grasping out straws to try to like And I think

if we see the feedback, then the negativity online she
sees at times one hundred and adds a new housewife
and always having the luxury of being a friend of
so you're not really under scrutiny like that. And she
was also very likable as a friend of the show,
and we didn't really get to clear that much, but
now we get to really like me a Shamia Shamia.

I think she's cracking, and I understand what that feels
like when you feel like the world hates you.

She probably looks at everything online and she probably just
was like, no, nothing I do is working, So I'm

someone that's out of desperation to kind of regain some
