Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real house Boss in Atlanta, New
Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise
and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from
the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset,

(00:27):
in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space
or scripted as well. Heyway, jobs, back for another Salt
Lake City recap with the iconic Monica Garcia. As we
not only recapitate this episode, by this Boston is spilling.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
The tea party.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
We have to start Monica by talking about breaking news
that occurred yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
What wait, I actually don't even remember what is it?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well? Is it? You are mom? And you have way more.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I'm nervous right now. I'm so nervous.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You ready for this? Jelly?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
What Andy Colehen said that Jim Sho is never coming
back to house waits of Saltic City.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Bitch, Bitch.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
That I told you I've been dying to talk to
you about this. Okay, everyone needs to know today, Carlos
and I have so much shit to say. We got
on and we're like, don't say shit, bitch, because we
are going to bring it to you guys right out
the gate. And I have been dying to talk to
you about this. I am shocked. I'm shocked, Like I

(01:51):
cannot believe. He said that, I'm yes, shocked.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, so brave. John just up at you guys.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
On yesterday's Andy Cohen Show on his Serious Network, he
confirmed that Bravo would not be working with Jenshaw again
after her prison release, which is happening like in a
few days, by the way, He said that at some

(02:24):
point you have to draw the line. Okay, Monica and
I spoke about this last week because she's like, do
you think's gonna happen? I said, look between him, saying
to his audience and watch what happens live that he
does want to see her again. You have the head

(02:45):
of the network say that you know it's not looking
too good, but she doesn't know yet. Jenshaw gets out
December tenth, and he said, yesterday, bitch, it is not happening.
And again, at some point you have to draw the line,
what did you well before we.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Get to like what that means exactly? Yeah, why are
you so shocked?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
First of all, can I just say that I love
how Andy said, can we put a period at the
end of that sentence?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I was like, we're still for don't break it up again, bitch,
I'm tired of talking about it.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yes, is not a question mark. It is not a
question mark. It is not open ended. It is like
period dot. Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
He was.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
So profound and saying that, I you know, I have
a couple of different theories here. I know that a
lot of people want to see her back, and it
makes sense. I'm not defending anything she did. We all
know me above all people is not defending it. But
it makes sense. She was on the show. This whole

(04:02):
entire situation happened on the show. She was arrested on
the show, she went away on the show. It makes
sense to bridge her getting out on the show. However,
when he said there has to be a line, I
was very grateful he said that because truly a lot
of people are like, where is the line if she

(04:22):
comes back? Because everyone compares it to Karen and her
DUIs not even close to the same. Every Now, if
Karen had hit somebody, which she never did, then you
have a victim, and then it's comparison. Everyone's comparing it. Teresa,
dudeis that's taxes. It only affected her. Again, no, victims

(04:43):
not the same. I think what people are really like
forgetting is there were actual human beings that were victims.
There was a victim lists, there were family and friends
involved in this case.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
That were also affected by this.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
There were people that took their own lives, there were veterans,
there were I mean, come on, you can't compare that
to Teresa and Judais.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Tax of agent. You just it's not even close.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
To the same thing. So I was glad that he
said that, but I was I'm shocked, Carla. I would
have lost.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Money if I bet on that.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I thought, I thought.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
For sure, and you were right. You said it the
whole time you did.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
You were like, nope, nope, don't see it.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I did think based on listening. I'm a producer, I'm
in the business. It's funny because when when executives talk
without saying so much, I know exactly what they're trying
not to say, but they're making it allama clear to
someone like me.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, and just based.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
On the conversation surround Againshaw, I was like, there's no
chance in the hell she's coming back.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
And that's why I.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Said last week, look Ronald's Kingdom viewer, nothing procr none
of those things.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
As a viewer, yes, I want to see her comeback
because I like story. I like story.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
I watched Look, I watched your shows, I watched I
watch eat and everything that's entertaining to me. But look,
I do think to your point too, Monica, they said
we have to draw the line somewhere, just update the
ray drops on exactly what happened with jen Shaw.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I to know this.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Her original sentence was six and a half years she is.
She was serving that time for her role as a
ringleader in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. The crime that
she played guilty to was conspiracy to commit wire fraud

(06:54):
and like Monica said, people definitely lost money in this
and a lot of the elderly people were scammed out
of his telemarketing situation is not the same as like
you said earlier, cam her d U, I I do.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I do think.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I do think if Karen would have hit somebody, yes
not forbid, somebody would have passed away.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I don't think you have seen her to this situation.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
The reason why that one, which which honestly was like
the first time a housewife went to jail, was to
resea Judaize. The difference with that too, is she and
Joe Juli's her former husband unmitted this. He had her
signed paperwork that she didn't know what she was signing,
and it was for tax evasion.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
So again so different.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I understand what that means. I understand what that means.
I'm not here to judge anyone's decision. It's not my show,
it's not my network. Fight, so I would just say
that look not surprised. But what I will say is
based on this episode of Salt Lake City they were

(08:12):
about to recap. Since we now know Jen Shaw is
not coming back, somebody has to go and we need
more people in because I'm not signing up to watch
the same shit for the past couple of weeks that
I'm seeing in this past episode.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I was not entertained in this episode.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
I know I wanna we have so much to get into,
we have so much to get into, but I want
to say one more thing bout it to bad honey.
So we also acknowledge that Jen allegedly assaulted one of
the current cast members, and if it was just that alone,

(08:52):
she wouldn't be allowed back. So you cannot go around
punching your cast members in the face and expect to
keep your job. So, even if you took her crimes aside,
where Bravo says, there's got to be a line, there
are multiple things happening here aside from even her case.

(09:12):
You cannot expect to keep your job and punch your
co stars in the face. So let's not also forget that, please,
that's very important.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Well, Angie k that she wants her back rather than you, honey.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Fuck her, bitch, honestly suck her.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Well, my question was this again listen, not be being
totally shady, but yeah, it's real conversation to your point.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Yeah, you know Joshaw allegedly, allegedly honey punch.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Heather in the face, gave her a black eye.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, if if that is true, why why would a
housewife like Angie, who I love by the way, I
love Angie.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Why do you think Angie.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Would be okay with that type of person coming back
versus you?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Because Angie can still be loved and adored and a
fan favorite next to Jen, but up against others like myself,
it's more of a challenge.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
And I'm not saying that as a ego.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I'm saying that as anyone standing.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Next to Genshaw right now.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
People are going to be more on your side considering
what Genshaw has done logically, right, Angie's saying that makes
no logical sense whatsoever. But if you I'm more of
a competition, that's it, plain and simple. She can still
be the fan favorite, center, snowflake, whatever up against Genshaw
all day every day. But you bring in new girls

(10:42):
or all people that made big waves, and then you've
got competition, and she doesn't want that.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
That's it. That's my opinion.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Okay, it yeah, Yeah, listen, I'm here for the opinion. Yeah,
and listen, you don't have to say anything after I
say this. We need Monica back because this episode was
not it for me, rain Drops. I'm sure it's unpopular,
and listen, I'll break it down for you guys. I

(11:09):
have a lot to say about this episode. Let's start
with the good stuff for me and just say you
guys know me and Monica do not prep ourselves. We
have no idea each other about this episode. I could
be grossly wrong in terms of Monica's eyes.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
But I'm excited actually to see what you think, because, Yeah,
let's talk about what I consider to be the good
stuff in terms of what I enjoyed watching unfold.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
And that was the scene between Whitney Rose and her husband.
Oh okay, I I've got into this business because I
love storytelling, I love reality. I love conversations where you
get to really talk about things transpiring in your life.

(11:58):
So rain jobs. Just so you know, Whitney Rose and
her husband had this conversation where they talked about the
failure of her business, her skincare line called wild Rose Beauty.
It failed in twenty twenty four after a poorly executed
launch that resulted in millions of dollars in losses, and

(12:20):
Monica we're talking about how thirty employees were laid off.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
I actually didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Yeah, and then this conversation that they had, it was
shocking to hear Whitney say how she does resent her
husband who.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Told her how she should.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Be involved in this investment versus the MLM that she
wanted to do and out of the business advice of
her husband. All these people telling her this is the
amount of money you can make.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
She decided to do it.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Unfortunately it failed and it is affecting their marriage. Those
are the type of moments and I'm like, wow, this
is real. I'm into it. She started crying. I think
her husband's a great guy. I think when it comes
to business, there's no instruction manual in terms of what
works or what doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
It's a risky investment.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
But to hear her say that without saying fully, yeah,
she blames him.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yeah, yeah, I'm yeah. I actually I'm so glad you're
bringing this up because this was actually really big on
social media. I'm not sure if you saw this before
the season. Before the season aired, right, this was all

(13:54):
over social media, like with me and Justin involved in
an MLM and da da da da da and this
and that, and people were doing deep dives into who
they were going into business with and all that.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
This was a big deal.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
And so I'm really really glad that they did decide
to just face it head on and address it and
bring it up on the show and show it because
it did happen. It was I mean that shit was everywhere, Carlos,
it was. I'm not sure how many people outside of
Utah saw. But I mean you had everyone reporting on it,

(14:28):
everyone posting about it, so it was very smart. And
I don't want to say like required, but you are, like,
like you said, you're on a reality show and this
is happening in real time in your reality. So they
could have easily shied away from it like Bronwin shied
away from all her charges, honey. But nope, they addressed

(14:51):
it head on, and and I'm so glad that they did.

Speaker 6 (14:57):
And this is real, Monica, imagine.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I'm proud of them facing it head on because I
know it was humiliating publicly for them, so they addressed it.
And you know, business in marriage is very, very very
messy and causes huge, if not a lot of divorces
in marriages, money in business, and so yeah, I love

(15:35):
that they're bringing it up. I hope that they go
into more depth. I think it's real. I think failing
businesses are real. I think they're stepping yes, And I think,
you know, there's the whole thing. If you're not failing,
you're not trying. And I think that a lot of
people that do suffer failures don't get enough credit for
even putting themselves out there. So I'm glad that they Yeah,

(15:57):
you're right, I'm glad that they had that conversation, and
you could tell it was a little awkward.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
For sure. It was important that they brought that up.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King,
let's get back into the show. It was it was important,
And look, the biggest thing for me was the fact
that this is the thing a lot of the audience
doesn't know or may not have enough awareness of, and

(16:28):
that is there is like this pressure, yeah, for reality
stars to create a business. Yeah, sometimes as a storyline
or sometimes when you have these vultures approach you by saying, oh,
you're a housewife, let me give you all of these opportunities,

(16:49):
and you don't know which way to go, and like
you said, you're just sort of like who doesn't want
to be the face of a skincare beauty line? Like
that's amazing and and who don't want that? But I
will say, just like there's pressures for some housewives to
live a certain lifestyle and unfortunately do the legal stuff
to attain it and sustain it.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I do think this's just added pressures.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Of creating businesses because you want to take advantage of
being in America's household every week. Not saying that's what
Whitney did, but I do think what Whitney is doing
that I love is she's being honest about I listen
to my husband and to these investors, and I should

(17:35):
have listened to my gut.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
And I think that's the lesson in all of this.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Because your name is on it, and at the end
of the day, because you're on television, Like you said, Monica,
the whole world talks about it, the state of Utah
talking about it, and oftentimes it's not your fault, but
because you are the face of it, you get all
the blame.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
So yeah, I appreciated that, honestly conversation.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
The other scene was between Brahma and her mother, where
you know, her mother finally decided to tell Brahma like,
I think you're doing a great job. They apologizes to
her for you know, just being a tough mom and
and just listen, being raised in a certain time and

(18:24):
applying how you were raised to your offspring. But the
fact that she did tell Brama like, look, I am
proud of you and what you're doing to your daughter,
you are pretty much breaking the generational curse of how
women in our family was raised, and I thought that
was beautiful to watch.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed that scene too.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
I like personal story, I love the cap fits, I
love the drama of all those things. But when you
get me a personal story balance out with new French drama,
I am here for.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
But what did you think about that, Monica?

Speaker 4 (18:59):
I loved it.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
I I'm a sucker for a mom and daughter story
that is broken and up and down, and there's a
lot of resentment and trauma and whatever that needs to
be worked through. Bron One also has a daughter that
she's trying to do it different with which I can

(19:20):
completely relate to. I think those types of scenes are
very important because that is so real, and so many
people do have damaged relationships with family members or parents, and.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
That's so real.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
It's so real, and it's hard for me to watch.
I mean, I just found myself watching it just thinking
I'll trust this bitch about Muzzy because I'm just like, girl,
I know you're about to hurt bron went again in
the next scene or some shait, but I mean, that's unfortunately,
that's real too.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
The ups and downs.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
You know, you're going to have a good day with
your parent, You're going to have bad days with your parents.
And I will tell you, I didn't know that Bronwin
was sending flags out in support of the LGBTQ plus community.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
And I loved that.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
I loved that they showed that and that she was
sending those out to businesses and people that wanted flags.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
And I thought that was beautiful too.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
I love it. I love that. Yeah, I love that too.
Those were my two favorite moments.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
And yeah, let's just get to the Boston Spilling the
Tea Party, which I'll say this. I like the title
of the Boston Spilling the Tea Party. I like the
fact that Brahma is celebrating, you know, her US citizenship.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
All of that is fine here, All that is fine.
You know, all that is fine, all good?

Speaker 1 (20:55):
When this is when it lost me and I really
said here, like, I can't believe I'm subjected to this again.
You don't watch last season, but I don't know if
you know this, but last season's finale, Heather.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Had the girls.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
All, oh, I did see clips of that online.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, okay, I'll go through their cell phones to read
the nastiest text they said about each other, which was interesting, entertaining,
and devastating to watch.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
So to know that the boss is spilling.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Spilling the tea party was kind of part two of that,
and they're like, look, let's spill the tea on what
you guys said about each other. I'm like, guys, are
you running out of steam? And I love this show.
I love the cast. Yeah, this is the episode to

(21:53):
me where I was like, you guys are running out
of steam and I I need some changes.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
I'd need some changes.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I mean it did feel look it was it reminded
me of season four with the dolls. You know, like
it was like, Okay, let's tell a secret about your
doll and it's like okay, you you know, it was
just like it's yeah, they're definitely it's giving the dolls

(22:27):
in season four, it's giving the worst thing you said
about someone in season five and now we've got to
spill the tea. In season six, it felt very repetitive
for me, Brian down to Broun when wearing an inflatable again.
It was just kind of like, okay, we've got an
inflatable again. You know, I will say and I hate

(22:50):
to circle back. Don't worry, Carlos, I'm going to come
back to this. I feel like I've been very fair
throughout my emotion a State with the girls, and I
will say I actually loved the scene with Heather and
her daughters. I'm sorry. Yes, I will say, props to
Heather uh for getting her daughters off to college. I'm

(23:15):
a mom of daughters. It is it is very hard
to do. And she's got her girls going to Tampa
and flying all over this country to get education. And
I love that scene. I will say when she said
she feels like she's been raising them alone even when
she was.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Married, I felt that. I felt that and I felt
like that was beautiful.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
So props to Heather, Props to Heaven.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Yes, yes, I mean we took a little sidetrack. We
took a little sidetrack with the airfrier. I was like,
we got a mattress, we got airfrier. Okay, girl, But
you know she gave us the college send off, the
bed decorating. She's I will say, she's I actually good on.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Her good mama moment. That was a good mama.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Moment and I loved seeing it, and she I may
have my issues with Heather, but sending your kids off
to college is no easy feet getting them there, and
she did the damn thing, so I can give her
kudos for that. But yeah, I felt like, what's happening here?
I I also I you know, I was highly offended

(24:29):
that Heather compared it to Disneyland and Pirates of the Caribbean,
because I know you did not just say that that
shit is as good as Pirates of the Caribbean, bitch.
How dare you? How fucking dare you?

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Bitch?

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Pirates of the Caribbean, Honey, was way more entertaining than
that scene. I know she did not say that that
is a Disneyland favorite. For me, that was not even close, bitch.
I will say one of the most iconic moments in
that scene was Miss Mark's handing out caviar with your

(25:04):
drug test, bitch, come with.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Living.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
That was that was good.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
But I have been wanting to say, Carlos, what is
going on? Because also, why are they throwing the tea
over so easily like it was. Heather was like, I'm sorry, okay,
throw it over. I'm sorry, throw it over, like everyone
is just getting passes for ship that. I'm like, no,

(25:34):
hold her to the fire for this, like you, I
know you women, You guys do not move on this easily.
And the proof of them not being able to move
on that easily was then bringing up this damn plane
scene again.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
I'm over it, and I'm gonna tell you.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
I'm gonna tell you why I'm not invested in this
plain story.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
This is me talking as a producer. Okay, well, so
this is me being a producer.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
It's unfair to the audience, Yeah, to constantly talk about
a moment that they did not see.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah, like, we're this this game of who did it,
who've done it? Who said it? She said it?

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Game of talk because we didn't see it. You're spending
too much real estate on it. For example, when Kim
and Neinie got into it, when Kim said that Nini
choked her.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
All of that happened on camera.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
We spent two we spent two episodes, and that was it,
because it was sort of like.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
It's her word against hers.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah, it's not fair to the audience to be constantly.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Told about a story that they did not see.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
And I'm sorry, it will only make sense to me
to keep talking about it. If Meredith put her hands
on Brittany and chumked her as on the plane like
something to where it's sort of like, what you did
was so abhorrent, we can't move forward.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Yelling at a person on a six hour flight.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
To me, it's not something to be spending more than
two episodes. So I don't care about it. And I
thought last week, and you and I did say this.
We thought last week when Brittany and her platform heels
met up with Meredith, Meredith.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
And her all black leather gator honey, she is snaked out.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Like god, honey, medic a snake.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
So here you go.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
You have Brittany her blowout platform heels, happy.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
To be on the call. On the call sheet, She's like, Brittany,
I love you, but let's let let's let's talk about it.
She's like, yes, I'm available.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
What do you need? Yes, oh you need to bring
U stuff.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
Utiful and say less you need me to bring Jared again?
Okay we'll get back together. Oh you need us to
break up. I'm on it.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
What do you want?

Speaker 2 (28:18):
What you need?

Speaker 3 (28:19):
I'm on it.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
I'm on it.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
What counseled me going to my kids?

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Residal, I got a film with Madith.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
What damn kids. I ain't got no kids.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I said, I'm available, So I thought I thought Monica
last week that okay, Meredith britt one on one, Yeah,

(28:53):
did the conversation.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Thank god, I'm over it. You said that. I said
that you were were over it, thank god. And but
clearly I was wrong because we're talking about the again.
Now look at what was shocking to me.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Yeah, Whitney calling Meredith an alcoholic.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Ooh, those are fighting words.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Look, I'm glad you brought this up because I actually
wrote this down in my notes.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
These women want to go out here and act like
oh reality Vantie's portrait of us bitch y'all torture each other.
I cannot believe the shit they say about each other.
That Meredith actually held it so together to have someone

(29:58):
right across from her call her a damn pill poper.
That's like, Carlos, this is why I'm saying, shut up.
There is nothing that that page ever said about you
that you guys haven't said ten times worse about each other.

(30:20):
And I know. Look, look I love Whitney, I love Justin.
I'm shocked. I'm actually shocked.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
That man that was brutal. I'll be that was brutal.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
And as someone that has been on the receiving end
of very very damaging rumors and lies from certain women
in this cap I mean it has been some of
these women's soul mission to go around and completely destroy
me as a human being, as a mother, as a woman,

(30:58):
as anything I've been on the receiving line, And so
I don't think it was far fetched at all for
Meredith to be like, everyone, pee in a cup right
the fuck now, because I am sick. These are huge allegations.
These are huge, huge allegations to be saying about me.

(31:20):
I will pee right now and get this over with,
because I would saying the same shit. I will pee
in a cup, I will light attacked her up, I
will do what do you need me to do to
clear me of the shit you women are saying right now.
So I understand almost like the desperation of wanting to
clear yourself of very very damaging rumors being said about you.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
I get it. I get it.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
It was not the best episode, but that was a
very very real moment, and it was almost like she
knows that she is sitting in a room full of hypocrites.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Honey, and I know that too.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
I know that too.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Those are hippocrits.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
You want to sit there and judge me for lying
when your ass was lying about a black eye for years?

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Are you kidding talk about it?

Speaker 3 (32:07):
Yep. So I'm gonna take a damn drug test, and
all y'all little bitches are gonna take one too, because
you want to sit here and lie on my name?
Are you on drugs?

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Bitch?

Speaker 7 (32:16):
Now?

Speaker 2 (32:17):
What?

Speaker 3 (32:17):
I think they.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
Should have all peed in the damn cup, Like, where
are the results?

Speaker 1 (32:21):
I was waiting, you know what's so funny. I was
waiting for that to happen. Yes, And that's why I was.
I was team Meredith because she's like, I would do
it every day if I have to.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
How about you guys do it?

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Because she's like, if you're gonna call me a drug,
I'm not a druggie but a pill popper.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Pretty much.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Pretty damn it was, you know you know what, fu listen,
I'm all for a good read and I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
I love Whitney, I love Justin and all, yes love them.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
I thought he went too far with the alcoholic and
pill popper. I just felt like that is dark ye
when you don't have any evidence, and I think, for yes,
I'll keep saying this.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
I think all of.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Those women are you know, funny, entertaining, and have a
lot going on unless somebody can tell me something differently.
I don't think Meridi's behavior is so different than the
rest of the girls that I will isolate her as
being an alcoholic and a pill popper.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
It doesn't give that look.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
If I was there, if I was at this fucked
up Boston tea party, okay, if I was sitting in
that damn circle of not trust my ask, okay, my
ass would.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Have been the one bitch.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
I would have been like, where's the damn bathroom. I
would have gone up, I would have peed in that cup,
and I would have been like, show my results because
someone here is gonna say that I'm a drug addict
in the next damn episode, and I'm gonna say, pull
the receipts because I took the damn drug test. I
literally would have took the drug test, Carlos, because I
know how this shit works. I'm like, I already it,

(34:01):
I already suck it, and my results are in okay,
and I'm actually I'm really disappointed that no one shall
compete in the damn Cup.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
That would have been nice.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
But but Monica, does that tell you something?

Speaker 4 (34:16):
And now we said it, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Like I would have proudly got a.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
I would have I would have squatted, honey, squatted Yep, okay,
on Ice.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Let me put this back in the bag with the
caviar zop. Here you go, here.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
You go, let's I have my thing? Is this?

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Will you accuse somebody of something so heinous if it's
not true? Yeah, then baby, you have to also say
I'm willing to do.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
It to show and prove that I'm not one. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
And and I in that moment, I just felt so
bad from Meredith because it's sort of like it's it's listen,
you know these girls, I don't I think of all
the women on the show, I think Meredith is miss
don't start them will be none.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I'm also sort of like, I'm cool, but but you
PopEd me. I'm gonna like your ass up.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
I don't think.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
I didn't think Meredith deserved to know to be treated
the way she's being treated.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
By by by those women. And I love Mary.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Yeah, Mary, Heather Whitney and Britney is it's sort of like, damn,
I don't I don't think Meredith deserves it.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
I will say it was also really frustrating as to
sit back and watch as someone that was on the
show with them. It was such a missed opportunity when
Heather started crying for Meredith to be like, oh, bitch,
you lost the right to cry. You lost the right.
You lost your damn right to cry when you decided

(36:03):
to lie about the black eye. Bitch, you lost all
the rights to cry. So wipe those fucking jeif. Bitch,
why are you crying?

Speaker 8 (36:14):
Honey?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
You lost your damn right. We don't want to see
a tear from your damn face again. Bitch calling me
a liar? Yes, yes, and you've proven yourself to be
a liar, so yes, Heather, we are. We're calling you
a liar.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Like you hate it.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
I'm like, Meredith, you should have said right there and
been like, no, bitch, you lost the right to cry.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
You are her feet.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
I know. It was so frustrating. It was so frustrating.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
I mean, the whole thing was just Look.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
I will say, Whitney tried to rebound and come back
with I'm doing this because I care. I'm saying this
because I love you, which, in all actuality maybe that's
the case, but unfortunately that's not how it's being presented. Right.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
You can't call me an alcoholic pill poppy bitch and
expect me to consider that love.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
Right, right, And I wish that no, And I wish.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
That Whitney would have taken that approach.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
I think it would have also hit harder and landed
better if she had been like I did say that
to Bronwyn. However, because I experienced that with my father,
it's triggering to me and I am maybe taking it
a little deeper than I should because I grew up
in a home where unfortunately that was my daily and

(37:46):
so seeing outbursts like this makes me wonder. You know,
it would have landed so much better as opposed to
saying alcoholic pill popper.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Blah blah blah blah blah. Am I above saying that,
clearly not.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
We've seen how I act on camera when you're in
the moment and you're angry and you're attacked and you're
in a corner, So you know, I get it. But
at the same time, Meredith had every right to be like,
you want to call me a drug addict, here's some cops.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Everyone take a piss, let's go.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
And and and and and and again.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Not one single person volunteered to do that, which is
which is why I was like, this is a missed opportunity.
Again I looked at it and I was like, once again,
Lisa did have Meredith bat like a real sister.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
I enjoyed. I enjoyed. I like them as a as
a duo.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
I think she did get called out though. Heather did
catcher where she was like, make sure your stories match
because earlier you said this, and now you're saying this.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
So Heather did clock that. She did clock Lisa's ass
on that. Unfortunately, did.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Like, look, the elephant of the room is this. Yeah,
Lisa is just trying to have her girls back.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
And that's why for me, I could accept the fact
that I know that Lisa is it telling the Talian truth,
yet I'm not.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
Actually he's holding it down.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
She's holding it down for her friend.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
Yes, she sees the gang up. She sees the gang up,
and she's like, I'm not going to be a part
of this shit. And even if I have to fucking lie.
I'm going to have her back. That's what it is
right now. And I think any real best friend would
be doing the same shit. I will say. One of
Lisa's famous quotes did come to mind during this scene,

(39:40):
which is a friend to all is a friend to none,
and miss Bronwyn. I know you love her, but honey,
she's given that, she is giving. I'm a friend to everyone,
so I'm a friend to no one Like Carlos.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
I thought about you too when Whitney and her got
into and she's like, why would you go?

Speaker 2 (40:00):
I can tell them what I said.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
I'm like, yeah, Monica, call that shit last week like
Brah and bitch. Yeah, we can't develop a friendship. And
what we talk about privately, you're going to expa provacly
and I see.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
You go ahead, go ahead, finish.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
No, I'm just saying no. I was gonna say, I
it's not good.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
You see her do it to Britney and Whitney and
it's not good.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
No, she's done it to Lisa, she did it to Heather.
She I mean she really has it's it's it's the
whole a friend to all as a friend and none thing.
And I will say people online are because I love
seeing people's thoughts after I watch it, and people are
like private conversation on camera, like come on, and it's
like it's different though, because it's still Whitney's place to

(40:45):
be able to bring it up to Meredith just because
they had the conversation on camera as far as it
being private. You know, if it airs and Whitney never
brought it up, then she's going to have to deal
with that with Meredith. But it's still Whitney's place to
bring it up to Meredith, not Bronwin's, even if the
camera is there or not. It's just you know. But

(41:07):
I will say Bronwyn when she did her little dress
change and she came out and she had the scroll
or constitution all over her dress, I was like, eat that, Angie,
because Bronwin is showing us right now how to really
do a scroll, honey with your dollar tree scroll. Oh,
apologize for this. Apologize for that, you little gremlin bitch.

Speaker 4 (41:29):
I was so glad.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
That Bronwyn came out and was like, now this is
a scroll, honey.

Speaker 4 (41:36):
I was like, that is a scroll, bitch.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
Go twirl in front of Miss Angie k Miss Center, Snowflake.
Go twirl in front of her ass. Honey, Yeah, I'm
my Angie's neck now, bitch.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
Just way, listen.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
At the producer Monica versus Antie season, Oh man.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Give give me that day of the week, motherway, bron.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Win eight and I was glad to see it, Carlos.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Now listen she did, she did? That was that was
good too?

Speaker 1 (42:17):
So look, I will say this, my Sally, see the girls,
what we're seeing, what's happening in the coming attractions for
next week's episode.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
I say this, I have to say this.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
So apparently that's like the final that's the trip, honey,
and that is the big cast thing.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
Right.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
We are only on episode thirteen, bitch. Yeah, So that
brings me to what you were saying, which is, are
we running out of what's happening the last three episodes?
And people are seeing it, people are saying it online?

Speaker 2 (42:57):
Yes, yes, what are people say?

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (43:01):
So people are kind of like, man, this was another
snooze fest, or what's happening we got the same thing
or not bron winning an inflatable again. I mean they're
saying everything. We're saying one hundred percent okay with the
plane story again. And I'm just like, wait, we are
episode thirteen and already the final trip.

Speaker 4 (43:22):
Yikes.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
Yeah you know, yeah, yeah, the only And you know
what's so interesting.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
It started this season to me, started all really.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Strong, like I love to see you know, yeah Lisa
defend herself with the lawsuits and all of that.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
Yeah, oh yeah, you know, like like it had its moment.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
But I do think they ran out of steam because
you don't see any resolution and you don't see anything new,
unearthing that you can settle.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
For the last three episodes, it's been kind of the
same dead horse oh yeah, and the Kentucky Derby horse Honey,
Lisa's two horses or renting we don't know either, We
don't know.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
It was so funny to be about, like the comedy
of the horses, which we'll get into next week too.
I thought that so funny. Wait, no, next week to
argue about portions. Why have four you?

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Oh yes, yes, that's what that was. Yeah, but no,
I think they're running out of steam.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
And yeah, I think this is my advice for the
Salty City girls going into next season. Oh, have have
real conflict resolution.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
I do think sometimes they get caught up in what
was social media, like, you know what was zingers?

Speaker 2 (44:48):
What moments?

Speaker 1 (44:50):
Yeah, and I encourage them to go back to like
living in the moment and having the experience experiences.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
And then follow that.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
But but resolve it and let's move on to something fresher.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
I mean, we could have totally gone fresh in the
Boston tea party. Someone could have been like, I'm gonna
write Bronwin and I think it's messed up. We're not
talking about your grand theft and your identity theft and
your fraud and whoop. I mean, we could have totally
gone down that route. We could have gone down so
many different roads. I know these women are hearing all

(45:27):
the tea that I'm hearing that could have been spilt,
that would have been fresh tea, piping hot and all
the like, you know what I mean, Like it could
have gone totally.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Different about that.

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Yeah, yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Wait to your point, Monica, did I get did I
miss something or just don't remember it? What did these
girls ever confront Brown about all the stuff she was
going through?

Speaker 2 (45:55):
I know she I know she brought it up one time,
but I felt like.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
It ended that it was shut down the same way
she's shut down. Todd making out and farting at the Boston.
Throw it over, so throw it over, Heather. It's like, yeah,
she she doesn't have you know whatever, I'm not. People
are loving Bronwin. I'm not saying I hate her. I'm
just saying she's getting a lot of passes. That's all
I'm saying to really, you know, these women, I mean,

(46:23):
look at how they're dragging Lisa.

Speaker 4 (46:24):
Look at how they're dragging Meredith.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
Look at how they've dragged Whitney and each other, and
even Mary. They've drugged Mary through the coals over her church.
I'm just saying bron Win's getting passes. That's all I'm saying.
I still love her. I loved her scroll fit, I
loved the flag, I loved her mom. But let's be real,
she's getting a lot of passes for her past. All that.

(46:49):
It's true. It's true.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
You know it's true.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
God, even Antie, even Antie it is And you know
you're right because unfortunately they're not going to have Jen
next season. Andy made that clear, so she's not coming back,
and so they are going to have to figure out Okay,
you know, it's it's it's.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
What are we going to do? What are we going
to do?

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Because yeah, yes I do. I do have one more thing.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
I do.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Yeah, do you think where do you think The reason
why this is going on for two three episodes is
really because they do have footage and it's just going
to come out either on the finale or at reunion.

(47:48):
So really we're getting ahead of ourselves and like why
is this dragging out? But really production knows they're building
it up to have Meredith deny, deny, deny, deny, and then.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
Here's the footage.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
I would say this at this rate, I hope so,
I hope so because I don't understand why we're talking
about something we haven't seen. Yeah, one thing about Salt
Lake City that I will say, they always give us
a bombshell analogy, yes, yes, right, and that the only
bombshell for us would be footage of what happened on

(48:25):
that plane and us seeing Meredith be this maniacal mess
that they proclaimed she was.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Either that of the reunion.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
But I think the reunions too far to to wait,
I think, But you know what's so funny they would
have to explain like what you know, why was this
brought up sooner? Why did we spend three four weeks
addressing something that was he said, well, she says, she say,
but now we're now we have footage.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
Where did we get it from?

Speaker 1 (48:58):
So that's gonna be the interesting thing comes up if
the finale is exposing.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
The footage of what happened?

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Why do we have to wait so long to see
something that you'll talked about for a mom?

Speaker 3 (49:08):
Okay, I'm going to combat that. Go ahead with season
four finale. Oh yes, because it's this whole Why did
we ate so long? Why was she pretending to be friends?
Why did Heather bring it out now and we got
her making this bullshit fuld? Is it true? Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (49:27):
You know so.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
I think it's going to be very easy for them
to be like it could even be Heather again, since
they make her kind of the I won't I don't
want to say leader, but they do kind of make
her the leader.

Speaker 7 (49:42):
Yeah, multiplier when it comes, Yes, yes, the mom And
she could say, hear me out, shit, maybe I should
be in production, bitch, hear me out.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
She could say, I've had the footage of Meredith all along,
and the reason why I wasn't comfortable showing it sooner
was because she is my friend. Because we know she
loves to rely on the whole we're friends thing, and
I was hoping giving her chance after chance, opportunity after

(50:16):
opportunity to just own it, just own it, and she
never did. And so now I have to prove with
my receipts and timeline and screenshots and Dad, but tell me,
is that not like I could see it, Carlows, I

(50:38):
could see it. I'm telling you yes, As.

Speaker 8 (50:47):
My friend, I wanted to give her every opportunity to
just own it, and now I have to just I
have to show her she's not going to own it, right.

Speaker 1 (51:01):
Let us know, you guys agree with Monica that doesn't
ether have the footage. Someone or someone has it in
the game Into Heather of Meredith Meldown and she's using
it for the finale to reveal it, which which which

(51:21):
low key will be a gag a gag.

Speaker 4 (51:24):
And they always pull through.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
They always pull through. Look Salt Lake is unmatched with
keeping their secrets and holding it out to the end.
I mean reality, Vontiice was never leaked, honey, so anything
is possible. They could absolutely have this footage and they're
saving it as they should for a crazy finale.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
Monitor listen.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
We have a few more episodes to see if she
right about that. I'm here for the theory though.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
That was good at ray Job.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
You'll see us next week recapping the girls trip and
listen hopefully something new on Earth.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
But Monica, thank you once again for an amazing episode.

Speaker 1 (52:11):
You.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
I love you.

Speaker 2 (52:13):
I love you more than I see you.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
