Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in

(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. Hey, rain drops, today's episode Reality with
the King, Me and my girl are wearing glasses because
we got to see all the bullshit that this episode.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Oh see that.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I can't wait to God into my first and foremost.
How's it going, electis.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Honey, I'm hanging on by a thread. I'm I'm it's
the countdowns here. We all know this, and I am.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, I'm dying.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I'm dying.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
But this on my wedding day. I need sleep.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Someone's gonna put me in a bear chamber and just
put me to bed for twenty four hours before the wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Okay, alas this you look amazed, but please tell me
you're at least enjoying the process.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I well, okay, if we want me to be honest,
I'm not any effing more. No, I was up until now,
but it's like I can't sleep.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
There's things, there's deadlines and things that I've been four
days behind on it. I'm a Capricorn, so I'm mad
at myself and I'm like, you know, it's just it
now is just it's crunch time. But when it's all done,
like I think in like three days, I won't have
any more opportunities to worry about anything because it's kind
of like, no, it's you're here, so I'll make it through. Carlos,
It's okay to good bye. I'll get you every TGIF

(01:48):
so we're good, yes tg.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I and listen, you're everywhere, including I just saw you
on Vicky Gobbles's podcast and it made me scream as
I was my bit, like I mean, I usually skimming
my bed, but I was sitting for a different reason
this time.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Because carl was it too early to start with that? Okay,
give me, I gotta work up here.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Oh my yeah, right in there, I'm saying I have.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
To pake the picture for my rain drop.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
So I saw a picture that you were on the podcast.
So how was it being on Vickie's podcast. You know,
I think she's uh, I think she's everything and and
I think she's such a legend. But talk to me
about that, Like, Alexis, I feel like this is your
season too.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Well, it's definitely my season to become Alexis Jansen, so
we might as well make it my season for.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Right, Like, let's just start there.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
No, okay, so my thing with my beef with Vicky
that okay, spit that out. My beef with Vicky last
season or like when I was on on eighteen. I
get that she would, you know, she had to defend
Shannon and she felt like she had to. I didn't
understand it because Vicky and I had a good friendship.
She started off, you know, hard on me by saying
welcome to my world on you.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Know, season eight when I started or no season five.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
But I you know, we got through all that, and
she's funny. She deep doubt she has a good heart,
but you know she does forget that she says things
because she has gossiped about my husband and me many times.
And you know, so I went back in the media
on her because I'm like, don't talk about my family.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
And then it's like, but we're grown women. We can
move on. And she doesn't even remember what she said.
That's the funniest part. When I did our podcast, She's like,
I don't have a problem with John.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
I'm like, uh, girlfriend, you'p me to rewind what you
said last year, But why why do it?

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Just get over it? It's like, it's.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Okay, Carlos, you know, but I think she's a hoop
And we had a blast doing that.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
That podcast was so fun.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So yeah, I listen, I think when it comes to Vicky,
who I is an og a lot of times, and listen,
I'm talking to you who's been on the show for
many seasons as well. I feel like when you're on
the show, it's such a social experiment that you say
stuff in the moment and you forget about because so

(04:17):
many other things happen. So I do believe her that
she's like, oh my gosh, I said that. And listen,
she's been on the show since season one. But last
year when she said those things about you and John,
you said that she felt the need that she had
to defend Shannon.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
What Vicky's relationship like with Shannon today?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Well, so we did talk a little bit about that
She's not really they're not talking a ton, you know.
I don't think they're doing that their show anymore. They
had that dose of migos or whatever whatever, and so
I think that feels it out. And I think I
think what Tamara has said before about how, you know,
she's made it very public that Shannon doesn't follow up
with friends and doesn't you know, kind of ghost people,

(04:58):
and so I think the same thing has kind of
happened with Vicky.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
But Vicky did not bad mouth Shannon or any any
of the anything like that.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
It was just it kind of fizzled out.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
But also Vicky has a space where she moves past things.
Also she doesn't hold grudges and I so it's like, okay,
we can laugh. And it felt so good to be
back around her again because I haven't seen her in
two or three years, and you know, it's like we
were close. Like she flew on the private jet that
everyone makes fun of when I took went to Jim.

(05:27):
I threw Jim a big fiftieth birthday and I rented
a private jet to get us there. She flew on
that private jet that went that was the viral thing
that Tramer and I were.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Making fun of it because at the reunion it was like.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
You flew on the private jet, you know, if it
was funny, and so we re enacted it, you know,
a decade later. But that's how close Vicky and I were,
Like we were friends, like real friends, and you know,
time and going through my divorce, I was I was
lost for a long time.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
So yeah, it felt.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Good to get back to holding her hand and like
and hugging and doing a hug and it felt real.
It didn't feel like we were either us we're faking it.
So yeah, all my all good, all good fields.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Good, good, Well, look this message is.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
For Alex Baskin. Alex. I mean, look, I could if
I wanted to know, so for my rain Dross.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Alex Basquins production company thirty two Flavors produces the Real
Housewives of Bors County, including Deverly Hills and the Valley
and Delico Rules.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
He's an icon And what's funny is you being on
Vickie show to me in the case that this is
what I need for Seaton twenty.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So Alex Basket if you're listening, or my friend Luke
Neslitch who is the showrunner for the Royal House Bossports County.
If you're listening, send this message to Alex Basket Time
coded that Carlos, Reginald King the first up to see
on season twenty, Vicky Govson and Alexis Blina back with Tamera,

(07:06):
Heather and you know some of the other girls too.
But I'll at least give you guys that, and you
guys can figure out the rest.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Okay, you have gotten it off your chest. So now
let's go on business.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
That was good.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
You needed to say.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
That left your down to business.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
You know.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I mean, I'm full of surprises, but not like Slade
pretended to be surprised.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
But Gretchen brought up in this episode the conference.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
For those who are listening, and I'm watching this on YouTube,
Alexa Roller, Alexis, I haven't even brought up with the conversation. Girl,
you're over it. But and she's like barfing. Okay, So Slade,
who went to the Tom Hanks School of Acting, decided

(07:58):
to pretend he had no idea that Gretchen was going
to bring up this conversation about how the girls forced
her to bring up Tamras singing and how she didn't
want to do it. They took it out of proportion.
Slave said things like, look, he doesn't think Tamar's a

(08:22):
good person.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
She can't forgive and I'm like pot kettle black.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
And then Gretchen admitsed that Tamra's past comments about housewife
singing is what made her, fourteen seventeen years later bring
up this song that Tamra sang.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
This to me was listed.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
It was sort of like a bad rom pom that
was canceled by ABC where and not by the FCC.
But to me, it was sort of like, you two
are the worst actors that I've ever seen in my
life because you are not telling the truth, and you
too are realizing that talking about Tamra is going to

(09:05):
get you hot water. But what if you think of
as alexis am I like the only person who believed
that these two were acting in the scene.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
I mean, you nailed all of it so well.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Like I could just say, yep, everything he said, so,
but I do, I'll give this piece of information or whatever.
But I it's like, I feel like the whole that
Gretchen's digging keeps getting deeper and deeper. She's not crawling
out at all, and her story's never aliging that they
never make sense because even right after, of course, she

(09:38):
was naked wasted a second time on season nineteen or
yeah so, but her slippery mouth, she did not even
remember how the whole thing transpired, but we as viewers
saw the whole thing transpire. And she's trying to say, oh,
the girls brought up the singing or Gretcha brought.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Up the whole thing, and you could tell she could
not wait to.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Give that information and to call Slade and have the information,
you know, proven by Slade. It backfired. I think they
thought the audience would be like, good job, yay, this
is awesome. Take Tamra down it back by or how
many syllables is that?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Riding fort with it backfired people.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
It backfired like Gretchen's comeback, and which makes me sad
because I remember when the announcement was made that gretch
was coming back. I was like, yay, I was so
happy for it. I'm a Gretchen fan based on her
earlier days on the show. Tamra was so funny. She
posted the comeback announcement and say yay, my best friend

(10:45):
is back, which showed me that Tamra knew, like, Okay,
I know what it's about to give I listen the
Sonny and Share Bravo, which is Slade and Gretchen. It's
just a bad variety show going wrong because they really
thought the audience wanted to see them take down Tamra
and listen. I will say this based on what the

(11:09):
audience was saying about Tampa last season, I at least
could understand that. I think where they went wrong with
the Alexis is the fact that the stuff they're bringing
up is by their own demise. Like they're the ones
breaking it up. They're the ones who decided to buy
a pamphlet at office depot and write down all the

(11:32):
things tamaraked in the past seventeen years that they wanted
to bring up on the show. And it's just not
working for me, and it's bad. It's so bad that, hey, Tamra,
the audience now on social media they're on your side, sister.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yeah. So I feel like if things would have happened
on this season that showed Tamra was bad and wrong,
the audience would have been on Gretchran's side and been like, yep, see,
Tamra is a bad one. Is that the fact that
you're pulling things out and wiping cobwebs off of stuff
that grown women that now have children and children in

(12:08):
college are still doing is like, wake up, Like, don't
you don't need to bring up fourteen years ago. You know,
I get it if if you had an affair, I mean, people,
you don't get over an affair like okay, But this
kind of stuff that's happening is is like it's just
and you can tell you know, Slade threw himself under

(12:29):
the bus on this one Carlos when they were sitting
on the couch and he said, I am still bitter
about this. You can see bitterness all over Gretchen and Slade,
sorry to say, and bitterness and unforgiveness and not moving
on destroys you, not the other person. It's not going
to destroy Tamra. It's eating at Gretchen and Slade, and

(12:50):
unfortunately they can't let go. And that's why it's it's
becoming such a train wreck for them, Like that's the reason.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
And it stinks like.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
If they could just I wish that they could have
seen this earlier, so maybe they could even have stopped
halfway through the season and just kind of like let
it go, because, like you, I think Gretchen would have
been a great addition.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
I just think she's she's not she's too costumish, she's
trying too hard.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
She's got a producer that's not you know, he didn't
get credentials to do that, and and so it's all flopping.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
It is.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
It is, it is, it is, it really is, and
it's so it's so unfortunate because Slade is such a
staple when you think about the legacy of OC just based.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
On him dating Laurie Joe, being married to Joe.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
He was an idiot from day one though. Everybody called
him slave from day one, and they were right.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
And I didn't even think that at first. I didn't
believe it at first, but now and then the whole
Michelin thing where he did that with Haamer, I even
forgot about that. And I was so disgusted back then
when he did that whole act, you know, with and
then points her out and shows the cellulite that us
women do get through carrying your children. Thank you very much,
you know, it's it's life. And by the way, she's

(14:06):
got zero cell you like now. But I'm just sitting
there going. Have you looked in the mirror yet?

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Dad?

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Bod, Like, why are you complaining about other people when
you ain't got Carlos King's six pack.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
It's irritating. Whole thing's irritating. They need to go. They
need to just go, shut their door and pray some more.
Carlo's speechless.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Before Now you.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Can cut you, Carlos.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
You can crack on people, Okay, John Janssen can crack
on people because that man has a washboard tummy. But
you cannot crack on people and be that mean when.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
You I'm just kidding. You know this is all a joke.
You shouldn't crack on anybody. But it's just our Michelin girl. Okay, no.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Crazy, no honey, I'll be sorry for me. I'll have to.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Go to the confessionals after this and ask my pastor
to forgive me.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Well, listen, don't forget Tambra has potential from that too.
So if you guys remember the whole season, this is
reality with the King and I'm Carlos King. Let's get
back into the show. I do want to get into Listen.
You and I both love personal story when it comes

(15:28):
to these reality shows. The thing with Jen and her daughter,
and obviously you're about to get married yourself, you have children.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
In this scene, Jennifer tells her daughter like, you're my.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Best friend and I'm marrying my best friend too, and
how I want you in the wedding, and it just listen.
I know that Jing is a hard time from the
audience right now, but I've said this once.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I said before, I love Jen. I think Jen's a
great addition to the show.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I love her her honesty when it comes to what
she's going through her family, and the fact that she
was so real saying that she felt like a failure
because her marriage didn't work, and how her daughter, I'm
getting chills thinking about it, Alexis seriously, how her daughter
in the confessional next to her was like, I don't

(16:19):
see you as a failure though.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
And one thing I will.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Always say is the way you could tell a parent
as a good mom or dad is through the eyes
of their children, because when a girl as that is
in that teen years honey, they hate everybody. So the
fact that her daughter was like, Mama, love you, I
got your back, and you know, I think you're great

(16:43):
shows everybody that Gent's a great mom.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
But I wanted to.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Really, I couldn't wait to talk to you about this
because I felt like you could relate to that scene
as well, just based on everything you went through and
everything about to go through with marrying John.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
I love this episode a couple of the I hated
the episode for some things, but I loved the episode
for some things, which is what the show's supposed to do.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
So good job Rob. A run of applause for that.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
But I loved the scene with Tammer and her daughter
because you saw. I got tears in my eyes on
that scene because I've gone through that.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
You know, my kid went to college.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I'm about to be an empty net Well I'm not
really because now Myles is going to live here for
another four years, but which is good for me. But
I had that feeling of, oh my gosh, I'm almost
an empty nester, which is a really hard feeling when
you're a stay at home mom and you weres hands
on of a mom as I am. But so I
got tears with that scene. And then it went to
Jen Sein or whatever and the scene with her daughter
got tears again.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
And I loved.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Both of those scenes because it showed how great of
both of moms are.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
It showed how great both kids are.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
And you know, I'm I'm marrying John and the only
people in our wedding party are our children. His children
are walking him down the aisle and my children are
walking me down. So and we're not really having an
aisle just so you know. So we're doing a weird you'll.

Speaker 4 (17:56):
Find out after. I can't give too much away, but anyways,
the way we're doing.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Doing it, it's okay, here's John and his kids presenting John.
Here's me and my kids presenting my kids presenting me
kind of thing, you know. And so and they're sitting
separate from everyone else because they're not standing up with us,
but they're you know, we have a whole new whole
division that we're doing. And so I did get teary eyed,
and I thought, you know what they are the kids

(18:21):
are your most important thing in the world, like that is,
and to bring that into a wedding, like Miles's words,
when he first found out John proposed, he was like, oh,
my gosh, I've never been to a wedding.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
My first wedding is going to be my mom's wedding.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
You know, I just thought that is so cool because
James and Kenna have both gone to other weddings with me,
like you know, other times, but Miles hadn't. So he's
just it's just it's going to be a really special
day and I am so I think that's so special
for Jen. I'm happy for them, and that's beautiful. It
was a beautiful scene. I love that you and I've
been you and I've said it needs to get back
to some of the real and people like to see

(18:57):
a life that they can relate to, not just all
the fighting.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
Well, there you go. We got that, Carlos. So you
and I went to bed happy last night, didn't we?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
We did? We did?

Speaker 1 (19:05):
No, Listen, it was well, I was unhappy for the reasons,
but no, I went to be happy.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Let's stay in the positive moment for one second.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Carlos, Okay, little look as I as I like says everything, Well,
stay in the positive for this moment.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
It was I just listen. My heart goes out to
Gin her, her daughter.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Words and the emotions and because the thing is this,
I can't imagine what you women have to go through
when you are and listen. I was raised by both
parents in the household I know that's rare, and.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
I'm a lucky guy for that.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
I couldn't imagine as a woman, a wife and a
mom who decides to, you know, get remarried and what
that means for your children. Because when it comes to kids,
I always say this, Every child's first love is their mother.
It's literally because it's literally if you guys think about it,

(20:13):
It's the first person you meet when you're brought to
the world.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Well, and it's the first voice you hear because you're
in your mom's tummy. So and I know, doctor say,
the kids hear it, and they can hear you and
they feel you.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
So you are a part of your mom. I know
you're a part of the dad too.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
But women are lucky because we get that, We get
that gift to be able to carry a baby and
have that bond.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
So moms are the first love for sure.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Yes, and moms listen, I will I will go down
you know, saying this in terms of like go down
the road and really stand up for women when I
say this, this world cannot operate without women, and most importantly,
this world cannot operate without good mothers. And shout out
to you Alexis Bilino for all this stuff you have
to endure to be in this one book place you're

(20:55):
at right now. I'm so happy for you, and I'm
happy that Jen decided to say, look, this wasn't working
out for me.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
I'm going to do what's best for me. Because at
the end of the.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Day, at the end of the day, kids are happier
when their mother is happiest, the happiest so.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
And it's and you need to put your kids in
an environment that teaches them healthy relationships because if they
see a relationship where a man or a woman is
not treating the other one appropriately, you don't want that
becoming a part of their who they are. And they
think that's okay in the world to do that. So
it's good to get out. It's good to find a

(21:35):
healthy relationship. And my children had you know, I was
worried about that. You know, I was engaged before John,
which I know this is not a shocker to everyone.
I mean people knew this, but and we never planned
a date or never set a date or anything.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
But then when I.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Met John and we got engaged and we put a
date on the books, I did have the sit down
with my kids and I.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Said, what do you feel do you approve of him?
Number one? Do are you okay with this? And what
if I changed my last name?

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Like I had all the hard talks, right and you know,
I think if I would have been with someone that
they didn't like or they saw was not good for me,
they would have told me because they said, Mom, he's
the best thing that's ever happened to you.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
He was, he was meant for you.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
We want, we are we we completely are on board
and happy for you guys. And yes, we're excited to
have him be our stepdad. That is the words Mom
needs to hear, because that's like that really, you know.
And John had the same talk with his kids, so
you know, it's really important because you are marrying the
entire family, you know. But jin's the good part about
gen is the kids are already living with him and

(22:42):
with Ryan and hersh So that's good because they've already
tested the waters.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
They already know that it works. So and the kids
seem happy.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
It doesn't take away the.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Fact that when you're marrying someone new, like her daughter,
when you saw her every like get emotional about it.
It doesn't take away the fact that you know they
are coming from a broken family, so now they are going.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
To have a step dad. It's not easy to have
a broken family.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yeah, yeah, no, I can't imagine. I can't imagine.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
And like you said, these scenes are relatable and we
want to see more of that. So shout out to
the producers for making sure we got a chance to
see that. Now it's all about the mess girl because
everything with Downhill's sister. So Gretch had decided to have
an event and she wanted to prank some people.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Now, Alexis, I don't know about you.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
That prank scared the shit out of me and I
would have punched somebody in their face. So rain drops,
Gretch had decided to prank the arrivals. In one car,
we had Gina and Tam run. The other car it
was Shannon and Jen. This guy walks up to the

(23:55):
car demanding money. They say, don't have any cash, and
then he.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Got breast.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Listen, I'm a black man from the Troy Bush Kid.
I won't have knocked him out. You can't pull this
shit on everybody.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I listen.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
On one hand, it was hilarious, but I gotta be
honest with you, Alexis On the other hand, I'm like,
this cannot work in Atlanta, Alata housewise. Let me tell
you some I think the state of Georgia is a
gun carrying state. Somebody got shot the same girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
I would have freaked. I I would have crapped my pants.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
I would have I don't know, Like that was the
scariest thing ever. And I like you, Carlos, I don't
know if I would have frozen up like Shannon. I
don't know if that would be my because you don't
know until you're in the situation. No, I don't know
if I would have frozen up, or if I would
have jumped on the driver's lap and driven the car.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Off myself, Like I would have been, like, I don't care.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
How tight this wheel is, I am squeezing in and
we are off, babe, Like I I don't know what
I would have done so and or hit him, like
you could have just like dunked him in the eyes,
you know, like done one of those fast moves that
people teach you, or try to hit his throat, but
then what if you grab your arm and then.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
You're stuck with ugh.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
The whole thing was just like I was like, if
that were me, I would have walked in just like
the other girls and been like, Okay, I hate you
for this right now.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Oh no, Or I'd have been like Tamra, like I'm
gonna see because I had a heart attack. But if
I suggretch it, I'm getting grocery bags and a face
to app subscription, which.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
I'd like, come up with this stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
I was. I know, I got admit that was that
was that was pretty funny. But I'm like you, I
just listen.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
What was so funny to me is the fact that Shannon,
to me always sort of goes from zero to one
hundred if you say the wrong thing.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
And we'll get to that.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
I thought it was so hilarious that in this particular
situation where you have every right to go from zero
to one hundred, she went from zero too.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
And I'm like, no, she went from zero to negative too.
She was like she was like even more energen jan
and then all of a sudden she's like, okay, what
are you doing? And I don't have any cash? Like
like she didn't exactly opposite.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
I'm like, girlfriend, this is where you really cut somebody out.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
But that's what's gonna happen to you until you're in
that moment.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
So, speaking of which, Shannah decided to tell the ladies
about what happened in the previous episode where she.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Brought up what she was going through.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
And how she said that Tama pretty much called her
father an alcoholic. I love the fact that Gina's like, now, look,
Tampa did not actually say that. She said, did your
father have a problem or history with alcohol?

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Which Shannah's like, pretty much the same thing.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
And she also said, like my reaction it would have
been the same if Emily or Heather would have said it.
I have to disagree, I think again, And we'll get
to what happened between Tamara and Gretschen. We mentioned this
last episode, and to me, it's just I think I
just feel the same way in terms of look, Vicky

(27:20):
said it to you that in so many words, that
her and Shannon aren't in the greatest place that they
used to be because Shannon doesn't really contact people unless
she needs them, and that's what happened with Shannon and Tamara.
And I know people are like, oh my god, p Frollows,
you always have Tamra's back.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I actually just am honest. Shannon just doesn't want.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
To be friends with Tamara, and it was self evident
in the way she sort of recapped the story and
put some hot sauce on it by saying that, oh,
she called my father an alcoholic, which to me is
vastly different than saying, didn't your father have a history
of alcohol? I was and I was really pleased that

(28:04):
Gina corrected her and had her back because I felt like, yes,
this is what should have happened.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
I was happy that somebody did it. What did you
think about that?

Speaker 4 (28:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
And I don't you know, I don't think Tamara had
an old place. And you know, I will call her
out too, and I have to call her sometimes after
these podcasts and say, Okay, this is what just happened.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
But you know, I love you and we move on,
you know.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
But first of all, I don't I don't think Tamra
wants to be friends with Shannon again.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
I think Tamra's trying to do her job.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
I think tamer knows if we're on a TV show,
we have to be able to film together, we have
to be able to co exist together, and we can't
carry all these grudges. Doesn't mean I'm gonna call you
it for coffee doesn't mean we're gonna be best buddies again.
But I'm here to do a job, and that's that's
the truth about a reality TV show. You are there
to put entertainment in front of American viewers to get

(28:53):
the ratings to keep the show on the network.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Okay, that's played and simple. That's your job.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
So so moving forward from that though, I don't feel
like Tamara had a bad heart at that moment, and
I would have I would not side with her on that,
and I would say, like I told you, I wouldn't
have said it, or like last episode the last podcast,
I said, I wouldn't said what Tammer said. I feel
the same way here. I wouldn't have said what Tammer
just said. But I don't think she has a bad
place with that. When Gina was right about that, it

(29:21):
was it was just to relate and just to kind
of say, look, Shannon, you're not the only one.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
I think Tamra's and I.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Haven't talked to tamer about this, but I think Tammer's
only reason for even saying that was like, look, you're you.
You inherited an issue that your dad had kind of
thing like kind of trying to relate it like, look
at you're not You're not here in this, You're not
alone in this like like and again that backfired on her,
but you know, this show had a lot of backfiring
going on. But yeah, so I don't think her. I

(29:48):
think Gina was right, and I'm glad that someone did
see another side to that.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
For sure.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
I think too. I did too, and now was happy
she's set up for her.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
And as all the girls were congregating to the table
is when Emily listen.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Sorry, guys, Emily's doing her job.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Emily's job was to take the bone that Gretchen gave
her in last week's episode about this song.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Which is why rain Drops.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Gretchen knew she fucked up because she knew, oh my gosh,
this is going to get back to Tamra. I had
a fireball shot. I don't know exactly what I said.
I don't remember it. And that's why she pleaded rain
Drops with Emily and Heather do not bring it up
to Tamra.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
And I'm like, that's going to happen.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Mita, Alexis knew in this episode that it wasn't going
to happen.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Can I make the most obvious statement. Ever, even if
it didn't get brought up in it's a freaking show,
Tamarra would have seen it today yesterday when it aired.
It was gonna be seen no matter what because there
are cameras there, So it doesn't matter. Even if Heather
and Emily didn't go back and tell Tamra anything, it
was going to come out on now national television. And

(31:01):
it's not like it would have been any better because
the reunion's not filmed yet, so it would have been
brought up there three so all of it. You know, Yeah,
Gretchen was just trying to back puddle and she wanted
to play the innocent victim like I didn't mean to
I was.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
It was just supposed to be an all good sleepover fun.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
There's nothing fun about that. You're trying to tear someone down.
It's not oh my gosh, let me tell you. When
I was at Lucy's last night, she farted so loud.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
It's not like that.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
It's like, it's like this girl sang a song and
sounded like crap, and she had an affair with the
famous singer that she was singing with.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Okay, there's nothing innocent about that.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Well, Let's be clear. If it's not Nick Lache, I'm
not fucking anybody by the age degrees. That's all I have.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
To say, Nick, Nick, did you hear that?

Speaker 3 (31:43):
In case you wanted to just go the other way,
like a change your you know your sexuality in any level,
you got the.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Pack right here ready for you.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Nick.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Was anybody in sick?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
I'm not in stig ball and see I have at
least two, but that's another conversation.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
But not Jim degrees.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
It's kind of slip picking mache or sort of like
maybe dabble Jessica Simpson. But what was think for me
in this whole dietrap is what she said it was.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
It was funny to me.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
And this is why I want the rain Jobs to
really pay attention to the behavior of Gretchen. When Gretchen
feels like she's in the right, she has this confidence
because her producer Slade is her hypeman and and and
she's ready, willing and able to go on the attack.

(32:42):
I thought it was very interesting that in this particular setting,
it's what Alexis called out. She's docile, she's a step
for why she's so calm, She's like, you know, not
trying to like even address it tam or Judge love her,
hate her, and this is not be being biased. This
is why she is the longest running housewife of all

(33:05):
time because the fact alexis when Tamar brought it up,
got up out of her seat to sit across from
her opponent. That's the type of shit I want to
see from Tamra Judge face to faith with Gretchen. Gretchen
did not realize that this was going to be the

(33:26):
Tamra show, and Tamra let her ass hait during these
conversations Gretchen's life would do you you don't want me
to go there? Because I can go there. Tama's like,
I'm begging you to go there. Say it, Say whatever
it is you want to say. And even the confessional, which,
by the way, producer, you were not right for asking

(33:48):
this question. You got it wrong when you ask Gretchen,
what does Tama not want you to say? No, Tama's
actually begging her to say it. She wants her to
say it, like what say, please tell me, Oh, you
don't want me to go there? No discrettion, No.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Discrettion, didn't say a word right.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
And do you notice how she's wanted to throw everything
out about Tamra all along on the show, and you
could see it in Gretchen's eyes. Her eyes turned, her
eyes turn evil or she gets like this like frown
like when she's ready to she's so excited to unleash
something on tamor I watched it. I watched the episode,
and I watched her eyes change.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
And so she goes from this innocent Stepford wife to
then all of a sudden, she sat there and she's like, well, crap,
I don't really have anything, So what am I gonna do?
Next question? So she goes next question?

Speaker 3 (34:33):
She doesn't have anything on Tamorra or don't she would
be wheeling out that that that rolladex of stuff and
say hey, okay, well We've got this and then I've
got this and then I've got this.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
It all be out there. There was nothing, There's nothing.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
She froze because she knows she doesn't have anything else
to say on Tamorra and if she wants to say
it doesn't matter, tam will prove you wrong.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
You know, yeah, no, it was. It was.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
It was great because the thing is this when Tamara said, no, fact,
you were fucking another guy. While you were dating your
ex and you kissed him at the hotel. I saw it,
and and you're you're not even ready enough to like
admit to that, like tamer came with her receipts, and

(35:17):
even still, Gretchen, who had every right at that point
to literally put everything on the table, literally on the table,
to say what she had to say, she neglected to
do so. So Rain Joss, when that happens, I've been
producing for twenty years. When that happens, alexis right, it
means that Gretchen had nothing. Because my thing is this,

(35:38):
if you're alleging I'm sucking gout, dick, shout out to
Lisa Marlow. If you're alleging that I'm in the studio
either sucking or fucking and and.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
You're and you're letting the.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
World know that at that point, say anything, because to me,
it doesn't get worse than a legend had an affair
with a ninety eight degrees member who is not Nickolasche.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
One hundred percent, if there was anything more, she would
have done it right then, because she does. It's the
tear down Tamera train. I told you that that's what
the season is for. Diretchen Enslade. I think Slade has
more hate for Gretchen than for Tamera than Gretchen even has,
if that's possible. But yeah, it's the teardown Tamera train
and it's backfiring, and I wish Gretchen would bring it out,

(36:34):
put it out on Instagram, put it out somewhere, give
it to a tabloid. Let's hear all this dirt you've
got on Tamra, Tammy, Sue ain't scared and Gretchen.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
This is for Gretchen and Rossi. So Ray John, let
her know we're saying this. Alexens, Butlina and I are
inviting you to come on Reality with the King and
you can tell us the things.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
You know, because we are fair balance journalist. So listen,
better offer her, We.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
Better offer her some kind of compensation. She would never
come on for three from so we got to give
her something.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Binding you are.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Can you imagine Carlos King and Alexis Alino interviewing Gretcha Rossi, Oh.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Honey, she she she would not come on if.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
She was.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Well.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Listen the offers out there, because I want to see
I want.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
To see Alexis do an interview this would this would make.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Oh, I would tear her apart, Honey, I will.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
I would eat that girl alive and then and then
put a cherry on top of her next costume.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
I got Jesus on my side, baby for real.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Yeah? And John, Okay, so you're absolutely right. First of all,
I think about this. You're right.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
I do believe Slade hates Tamra woman Gretchen, and I'm
about further. I don't think Gretchen hates Hamra. Something that
maybe honest, something you said gave me aha moment when
Slade said, out of his own mouth, I'm still.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Bitter, and you could see it in his eyes, Carlos,
you could tell see I watched people's eyes.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
You could see it on him.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
He got he had this rage, like he got this
rage behind him, and then he tried to act like
I'm trying to be a better person. They're put on
this whole correct Christian thing that I'm trying to be
a better person. But then you could see his anger
about things that happened twelve years ago.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
You're right, it's he's he said those words.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
That's why I told you he threw himself under the
what is it called threw him under itself, under the
bus or whatever it was.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
The Yeah, so let let's continue with Alexis Blino's method
of thoughts. We saw in the eyes that Slade when
he said I'm still bitter. It was honestly the most
factual thing he said to me this season. If you
go back to how Gretchen was at the top of
the season, when Gretchen and Tama were in New Orleans

(39:12):
and they had that nice moment at the park where
she said, I never said that thing.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Kat's a liar and she cried. That was a very
different Gretchen.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
And then moments later when she's back at her hotel
after speaking to Slade, a different Gretchen showed up, who
was still mad at Tamra. I am now on Alexis side.
It all just hit me. Gretchen doesn't hate Tamara. Slade does.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
And because you're the one that called out that Slade
is her producer and you called that out, three podcasts
to go. So there you go, Carlos, we put on
our detective cat on this. We got NBC date line
going right now.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
There you go, fuck TMZ, we got ka okay, so
you're this is good Gretchen is a pawn in the
beat that Slade still has with Tamra. And that's why
Gretchen felt so bad about the song thing, because she's realizing,

(40:16):
I'm being forced to bring this up because my man
wants me to take down Tamra.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
This is all brilliant. This is brilliant.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Rain Joffs.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
You heard it here first. And that's the reason why,
like Alexis points it out, when Tamra said, say everything
you have on me, say it now, Gretchen had nothing
because she didn't get more info from Slade.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Yep, she needs she needs more. Mike, Mike drop again. Okay,
good job, Carlos, You're right, she needs more. And so
now who knows what's gonna happen because next episode, maybe
something more is gonna happen and we'll find out more
lies that the Slade thinks he knows about Tamara.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
But you know, I.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Think Tara was so confident in that moment when she said,
bring it all.

Speaker 4 (41:04):
I'm an open book.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
I'm an open book, bring it all. That is someone
who's saying, I'm not scared. There's nothing no matter what
you've said. She's she's done everything on.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
Dash and television. She's she's Tamra has she's she's ruined
her reputation and she's built it back up than the
next season she's hated, the next season she's liked. Doesn't matter.
She makes good TV if she doesn't have anything to hide.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
So yeah, I would love to hear more of these
rumors or whatever, any of the stuff Slade has in
his ruleodex on Tamra. And you're right, he didn't have
enough time to tell Gretchen and give her anything, but
he did before the next confessional though.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
That's the thing. He had plenty of time. So Carlos,
there is nothing else on Tamorra because he had plenty
of time to coach Gretchen Moore and give her more
stuff to say about Camra by the time Gretchen went
back in for that next confessional and that question got
asked and she had nothing to say.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
No, because they you was all of their arsenal already.
It was the allegation that she was ruffie, that Gretchen
was ruffie. That was that was the biggest bond that
they had. And number two, it was this song and
the fact that they have a tape of her being
intimate with the guy in the studio.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
That's all they got. That that's all they had.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
And again, those are two very serious allegations. So they
played their hands very early in the season, and there's
nothing more.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
To talk about. I think that.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
Girlfriend, don't play the game if you just don't know
how to win, and that's what's happening. So listen, I'm
with Tamra leaving. I was with her leaving again because
it's sort of like, if I'm Tamra and this woman
is using her comeback to accuse me of the most dangerous,

(42:54):
gamous things, I would have had enough to like. I
just there's nothing more I can stomach because it's sort
of like her comeback is strictly to embarrass me and
to make up stuff. If she's talking about things I've done,
let's talk about it. Like Alex said this season, if
I did anything this season.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
To you, let's go to town.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Tamra just did nothing to Gretchen this season, and if
you guys are watching the same show, you would see that.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
And Gina made the point she goes Gretchen. I was
with tamer didn't mention your name one time on the
entire Girl's Weekend that I had with Tamra, So why
are you talking about Tamara on your Girl's Night, Like
like Gina is the one that made that point.

Speaker 4 (43:36):
And I told you that too.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
I said, if you note last podcast we did, I said,
if you notice Tamra's not bringing Gretchen's name up, it's
literally Gretchen just can't keep Tamra's name out of her mouth.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
So and I didn't believe. I'm gonna tell you something.
I didn't believe Tamar.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
When she said when she found Gretchen was coming back,
she was like, she's literally.

Speaker 4 (43:55):
Gonna keep doing what she's been doing to me for
twelve years. And I said, what do you mean?

Speaker 3 (43:58):
And she goes, She's just gonna keep trying to bring
up lies. I said, Tarma, you just take them, just
take it. You know it's not they're not gonna stick,
They're whatever. But I didn't believe when Tama said that.
I'm like, Gretchen's not gonna do that. She's not that stupid,
you know, like she's gonna come out and try to
want it, especially if what happened to me last season,
it looked like I wanted to tear Shannon down.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
And I didn't want to. It's like, learn from what
I have had happened. You know.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
I wish I think she should have taken that playbook
and learned from it. But you know, I didn't believe Tamara.
And then now as I'm watching each episode unfold, I'm
just like, gosh, Tama was so right, you know, and
I can tell Tamara.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
SOID she's not gonna do that. She's not gonna do that, Tamara.
Just go in and do your show, do your thing.
You're you're good at it, you know what you're doing.
And she was. Tama was right.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Tama was right.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Hey, listen, there's nothing left to say after that. So
rain Drops, let us know who sigh you're on? Let
us know the comments, okay.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
Yeah, for next podcast, so we can tell, oh, I
won't see you next week.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
And I know, I know, I know, I know. I
know you're busy. You're busy, busy. However, however, however, however, however,
I do want to know that.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
I want to know this poll though, So you have
the Raindrops, leave that pole. I want to know who
signed there on that's a good one, will.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
I will leave the poll for you, So, rain Jobs,
who's startling you on camera or Gretchen let me know
the comments on Spotify from Apple, in addition to Twitter
and hashtag Reality with the King alections Melino, I love you,
I'll see you in two weeks, have a great couple
of weeks, and I love you.

Speaker 4 (45:29):
I love you too.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Bye. Reality with the King is executive produced by me
Carlos King, produced by Lizzie Nimitz, and a partnership.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars?
