Speaker 1 (00:03):
Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.
I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your
favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey
and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and
Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the
Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in
(00:27):
addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or
scripted as well. Hey, their rain drops on today's episode
Reality with the King. I am super stoked to talk
about this episode because I have to have so many
thoughts and I am going to go on record saying this,
(00:49):
and I would love to get Alecxi with the Leni's opinion.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Who is here?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Hey Alexa, Hey.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Alexis you are a hit amongst the rain drops? Have you?
I know?
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Do you like to puff up my ego? I know
that I know.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
No, You're listed your person.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I send stuff to him because I love the fact
that you're You don't be comments.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I don't because I don't think any reality starts to
be comments. I just I just think it could be dangerous.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
You appearing on Reality with the King every Friday to
break down OC Housewives has really made people say, Carlos,
I must admit I wasn't sure about Alexis. I love
her on this platform. I love her inside.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
So no, people, and I'm not just kissing your ass.
I'm not blowing smokes from your mask.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Like like, people are really enjoying our recaps and I
just want to I can't say thank you enough for
for doing this.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Oh well, we're raw, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I listened to it and I'm like, oh my gosh,
did I really say that? Oh I did.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Well, that's all.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Always loved you. So listen, I am going to say this.
The real house Bonds of Orange County is on fire.
I'm obsessed with this, Gabe, and Alexis was right.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I was wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
The Live Detective test was actually genius and what it
brought us Alexis was a great commentary and I cannot
wait to break it all.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Downy Listen, I brought receipts, so you better sit back
and put that seat belt on. Okay, you don't like this,
I'm a receipt girl.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Well let's let's let let's let's go there, Let's go there,
let's go there.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
So no, just what I mean, We'll get there whatever
you are.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Listen if I if I don't get there, please please
take me to the destination.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
But the receipts can be read. Okay. So the episode
opens up with Katie telling Jin that she feels the
live Detective Test people are paid actors.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
She's providing hit shots of these people screenshots, and she
says she thinks she was set.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Up by Gina and Emily.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Love to get your thoughts, but I want to start
by saying this, And I love the fact that he
de bro even said, like, look, my husband is a doctor.
He's also I mean in real life, he's also a
doctor on television.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It doesn't make him a paid actor.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
The beauty of his podcast is listen, you guys are
speaking to a producer. Not everybody wants to be a
reality television So when you find somebody, whether it's a therapist,
a log detective test examiner, a guy in acologist, a teacher,
whatever the case may be, it's easier to reuse people
(03:50):
who have the reality TV experience because not only are
they easier to work with in the sense of they understand, Look,
I get what I need to do. I'm going to
go up there, be myself, do my job, keep it moving.
You guys don't understand the vetting process it takes in
clearing these people, releasing these people. So look, I just
(04:10):
want to go on record saying that just because you
see a professional do multiple appearances on multiple reality shows
does not make them a paid actor. But Alexis, what
do you think about all of that stuff?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So I kind of feel torn about that one, to
be honest, because I do I do believe that there's
a chance that on this one instance, there could have
been a little manipulation in the whole thing. Okay, I
don't know. I'm not a light detector test person, but
guess what it did. It led Alexis Billina in to
(04:46):
doing some research on her own, okay about light detector tests.
So don't have daylight and me as going it's in
my blood, buddy, It's in my blood. I went on
reality and I was supposed to be a detective. I
don't know what the problem is here, but anyway, I'm
tool now to go back. Okay, So the truth behind
a timeline of the light detector test, okay, is it
(05:08):
lasts one point five to two point five hours for
a person. Okay, So let me just do the math here.
With seven housewives and only two poliographers, okay, around four
to six hours for just one phase one of the
legit polygraph tests. That means these women would have been
there pretty much all night because there's three phases to
(05:30):
a polygraph test. Also, there's phase one, two, and three.
So under my calculations, I don't think these tests were
legit by any measure, Okay, Nor was my one on
boot camp because that whole flight detector test I took
lasted a whole thirty minutes, so we didn't even get
through phase one okay, my white detector test, So there
you go. So just saying, especially with the fact that
(05:52):
Katie failed the whole thing and Gretchen passed with flying colors,
that right, there's enough to just squash them out for
me anyway. But then when I did the research, I
was like, dang, okay, I don't believe it. But that's
why I'm glad they did it. It was still fun.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
First of all, alexis the limo I need you in
my life every week.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Okay, the look dagging got my girl got the receipts, okay,
So to break it down to us again, you're saying
that in order to have a polygraph test where the
results are leading into the sort of like the percentile
in which the person can you know, say, you know
(06:35):
officially this person's lying or not, you.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Need to you need to at least that person in
order to test the blood pressure, you know, the all
of those things that it requires in order to get
the final results. You need to at least be strapped
to the logitective test machine for at least one half
to two hours.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, because there's a pretest, there's then a okay, hold on, oh,
the end test, which is step two, and then there's
the post test, and all of this goes into uh,
you know, reading the results of why when someone lies,
they can actually tell they're lying, not just the lie
going like this. They have to see asking normal questions
in the pretest, right like what's your age, what's your sex,
(07:22):
what your you know, YadA YadA, and then going into
the d test and then the post test. So if
like I said, seven housewives and two polygraphers, they would
have had four to six hours for just phase one
of a legit test. We're not talking phases two and three.
So there you go, I'm done with my receipt for
(07:42):
the rest for the rest of the pod, I'm done
with my receipts Carlos.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Okay, oh well we have to break this down. I
love it. Okay, So I do want to say this
so that everybody.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Can follow when Katie a list that they're paid actors. Again,
I'm just confirming that because someone appears on multiple reality
shows does not make them paid actors. So I want
to debunk that they're not paid actors, right, agree.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
So that's that.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Now.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
What Alexis did that is the best, most amazing thing
that happened to me this week is the fact that
she is saying doing her research that is factual.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Guys that yes.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
While these people are real, live detective test examiners, However,
in order.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
To successfully get the results, one needs to be held
up in the point of law.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
That person needs to at least be strapped to the
machine from one half to two hours. These women honestly
were not. So with that being said, Alexis, when it
comes to Katie Janella and she says that she believes
she was set up though by Emily and Gina, would
you believe lead that to be true?
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Like I said, I believe that there might have been
some manipulation done for those tests. I personally do because
I don't think Katie failed every single question. I don't
think Gretchen got every single question correct. So I'm not
saying they're paid actors either. I agree with you, Yes,
they probably got paid to do their job to go there,
but they did not get paid by the production company
(09:25):
to be a paid actor or talent like we get
paid to be on the show. So I agree with
you there. But I do feel that there could possibly
have been some persuasion or manipulation done on these tests,
especially since each girl was probably hooked up, you know,
thirty minutes at the most, because they had to go
through all those women, and that you know, it was
(09:45):
still daylight when they all left. It wasn't dark out.
It wasn't like they'd been there for twelve hours, you know.
So that's where my detective hat went on, and I said, Okay,
they may not be paid actors, that there might have
been a little bit of skew or persuasion or whatever
word you want to use.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
No listen, And that's the reason why I listen. I
will say this.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
I give the network and the producers their props for even.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Allowing the women to debump this. Do you know what
I mean?
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Like the fact that they're able to say on camera like, look,
I don't believe this. I think they're paid actors, don't.
I don't believe in log detective tests. I don't believe
the results were accurate. I love the fact that they said, look,
we did our job providing one, but we're also going
to do our job to make sure that these women
are being heard, which is why the Katie revelation of
(10:37):
her not believing these people to be true was very
interesting to me. However, the most interesting thing to me
in this conversation between Jen and Katie was the fact
that Katie is still alleging and listen, Katie is adamant
that she's telling the truth. She's in front of Jen
and she is telling Jen, look, you were there. Katie's
(11:01):
a legend that Gretchen was again said she went to
the hospital after Naked Wasted episode, after that scene right
in the episode, she went to the hospital and she
said she got a toxicology report and allegedly they found
something in her blood. And Katie said, verbato, Alexis I
(11:24):
will die on that, which there's not one person in
the world that I'm going to die for in terms
of lying on them.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
I gotta be honest with you. Do I think Katie's
a liar?
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Yes, I also, though believed Gretchen lied about this too.
Two things can be true.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I strongly believe in my gut as a producer, as
a person, I do.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Believe Gretchen told Katie something along the lines of that story.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
What do you believe, well think.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Of about this, Carlos. It's too detailed of a It's
not just Gretchen, you know. Gretchen said she went to
the hospital. It's like she said, she went to the hospital,
she got her blood drawn and a toxicology report came
back that she had something in her blood. That is
very detailed. And Katie, yes, I think puts her foot
(12:20):
in her mouth and regrets and things that she has
miss stepped on, ors that she did lie about that
she wishes she hadn't. But like we said last week,
I don't think she's a complete compulsive liar to where
if she says I went to write a today while
they're closed now, I went to CVS today that they
she did go to CVS. Okay, I don't think she's
such a liar that she lies about every single thing
(12:41):
in her life. Okay, That's why I firmly believe, especially
when Matt brought his receipts from his phone of the
obsessive phone calls from Slade that day, and and you know,
nine one one and all these things, It's like, all
of it just adds up to me that it's like
Gretchen at this point just needs to own it and say,
I you know, yep, I shouldn't have said it.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King.
Let's get back into the show. I agree with that
as well. I think Gretchen needs to own it. I
do want to ask you this though, speaking of Katie,
whether or not she's a liar. Katie was recently on
our friend Tamra Judge and Teddy Melli Camp's podcast to Tease,
(13:27):
and on that podcast, Alexis, they did ask her whether
or not she sent you the video that she recorded
of Shannon having them meltdown at the photo shoot. Katie
doubles down on it and saying that she did not
play the recording.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
To you, that she only told you about it, And
that's where I know Katie is a liar because she
played it for me in the restaurant. I heard so
and So's name or or voice. Okay, well, I've also
spoken to this person, so I knew who it was.
So how would I know that? How would I also
(14:04):
know that my name was bleeped out after every other word,
you know, like effing this? I mean I heard the recording,
So that part makes me know that she's a liar.
And that's what's frustrating to me because I do like
Katie and I had stuck up for her in the past. However,
I'm not a known liar and I don't lie, and
I I will die on that. Also, she did play
(14:24):
me the voice memo. It was very long. It was.
It was well, I mean long's I'm just saying. It
wasn't like three seconds. It was like a lot of
amped up anger and cursing that should never be done
to an executive period. So yeah, it's it was. I
always played it. But what am I supposed to do? Like,
are we both supposed to go take a four and
(14:44):
a half hour polygraph test so that we can find
out who's really telling the truth on that one, because
that's what it would take four and a half, you know,
sit me down in the chair. I'll do it anyway.
I'm so over it though, It's like, okay, let's just
move on. You know. I wish that we could finally
get to the bottom of you know, I whish there
would have been why didn't she voice memo Gretchen at
the restaurant that night saying it? So she's such a
good voice memoir, you know, because that then we wouldn't
(15:07):
be sitting here arguing about it, you and I Carlos
would know because Katie would be like, I have the
voice memo Gretchen saying it.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
You know, Yeah, no, it's and that's listen. I tell
the audience. Look, I'm widely intrigued by Katie. I think
Katie is fascinating in the sense of she's an enigma.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
I believe her when she says, Gretchen told her a story. Again.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
The only thing that I'm unable to say to myself factually,
I believe this is because Katie is a known liar.
I one thousand percent believe you Alexis. You guys can
watch the show whether or not you like Alexis. What
you can't say is Alexis has never been called lying
(15:52):
and she just never has been called lying. And the
fact that Alexis can say out of her own breath,
look this one.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
DELI on me named Katie, and this is what she
lied on.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
However, I can also say in this rep I do
believe she's telling the truth in that instance, that goes
to show you a person who is unbiased, because anybody
else would say, if you're lying on me, I will
lie on you, and I will never.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
See the truth bing you. Now when it comes to Jin, Yes, no,
I wanted to give you those prosts.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
This is the part that is so confusing to me,
and I need for you to break it down for
me because I don't know Jen personally. I follow her
on Instagram, she follows me. We've had great, pleasant exchanges.
I told our friend Time or Judge personally, look, bitch,
I think Jen's great for the show, and Tom was like, look,
I love anybody who you love from this show.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Because I want the show to be successful.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
I think Jen and Ryan are fantastic, and I think
Jen has a lot of momentum. I am I'm truly stuck,
and maybe I'm the minority in the situation, Jen told
Katie after Katie said, Jen, you were there, Gretchen told
us about the toxicology report, and you're right, election it
is detailed. However, Jen is saying that Gretchen said she
(17:07):
felt like she should have gone to the hospital, and
then I had Lizzie with the Lizzie notes. What's the
scene in New Orleans? In New Orleans, Alexis, when they
talked about that conversation between Katie, Jen and Gretchen, Jen
(17:30):
did say, look, I was there.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Gretchen said that, you.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Know, she didn't feel right whatever those things, she felt sick,
she felt sick, she felt sick. Never once did Jen
in that scene say that she should go to the hospital.
But she's now singing in front of Katie.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
I'm confused.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Do you think Katie is right when she says that
Jen is protecting Gretchen?
Speaker 3 (18:03):
I truly do, I really do I think that Jin.
I loved the line where Katie said, in her professional
Jin and Gretchen's hate for Tamra over you know, supersedes
anything else. I forget how Katie said it exactly, but
something to that effect, not verbatim, but that the hate
(18:24):
for Tamara supersedes and that they will do anything to
protect protect their hate for Tamar and to try to
take Tamara down. I do believe that, and I do
think that that Gin probably is protecting Tamra. I do
because I think Jin was at that dinner when Katie
was told. Katie and Gin were both told by Gretchen
(18:44):
that you know, she went to the hospital. So yeah,
it kind of it sinks for Katie because you know,
like like we said last week, I was felt really
bad for Katie when she was kicked out of the
party and or the light detecting party, and just the
treatment that she's getting right now from the girls. I
don't like it. It's too much of a gang up.
It's too much of of all hate on one person.
(19:07):
So you know, and I've been in that hot scene
and it doesn't feel good. It's horrible. So I would
never wish that on anyone else. And I just I
just wish that Gretchen would own it. Yeah, And I
think I don't think she's not.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Oh, she she's not going up to She was on
my friend Heather McDonald's podcast and pretty much said she
never said it. I love Gretchen. I think Gretchen's I
think Gretchen says something to that. Again, I'm not gonna
say Gretchen said she was rufe got the toss of
I don't. I can't confirm that just yet, but I
do agree with you, Alexis, it is too detailed. But
because Katie lies so much, and I do believe Katie
(19:47):
in this in this instance, I'm just having a hard
time believing exact Mcgretchen said, although I do believe Gretchen
said something. With that being said, the scene that made
me again rain drops. I'm gonna be honest, it seemed
that made me again be on Katie's side, cause again,
I am only gonna critique and judge things that I
(20:09):
see on the show. And that's why every episode I
give my full, unbiased report.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Matt, Janella and Katie had a.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
One on one scene at the house and in this scene,
Alexis Bolina, who's shaking her hair right now, because girl,
this scene did it for me.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
This scene did it for me, and I'm gonna tell
you why.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
In this scene, Matt is recounting exactly what happened in
New Orleans when Tamra surprised Gretchen with the information that
she was told that you know, the whole thing might
be rupie. Matt provided screenshots based on his phone that
(20:52):
he has been talking to Slave and Ryan for forty
three minutes. He talked on March temp. He talked about
the fact that Slade was trying to manipulate the whole situation.
He showed that Slade said, this is a nine to
one to one text message that Katie beats the whole
(21:12):
the line, okay, because Gretchen is going to deny it,
and Katie needs to stay with Gretchen.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
So do you believe I believe it.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
I believe it, And it's so it's so gross, It's
just it gives me the ick feeling from head to toe,
like like, of course Gretchen's gonna deny it. Of course,
you know he's He's now it's almost like a threat
to Matt, like Katie needs to toe the line and
listen to go with gret side with Gretchen. It's it's
so schemish and like squeamish both. You know, it's just,
(21:49):
but I one hundred percent believe it. The one person
that's never been shown a liar is Matt. I have
met Matt several times. I do think he is a
stand up guy. I do believe that he showed the
phone and had the you know, like look at the
forty look at all the forty three minutes, and then
look at how many times Slay called me like it
So it was an it was an emergency, like they
had to talk right now. I mean, all of that
(22:10):
just points to the evidence. You know, again a detective
cat putting on. There's too many things on this one
lie that is supposedly a lie from Katie quote unquote
that are not lining up for it to be a lie.
Everything is is lining up to show that it really
was said in the restaurant at Mastros by Gretchen.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
I agree, because again, when you and I recapped the
New Orleans episode, I said to you and I'm gonna
continue saying this, which is why I don't judge anything
until I'll watched the episode. In that episode, I said,
that scene where Katie rushes through the door, Oh my gosh,
what happened and there's Gretchen and Jan sitting there. Oh
I had aha moments, Oh my gosh, a lexis what
(22:56):
so remember in New Orleans in the hotel, Remember Katie
walking to the room all like perturbed.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Oh my gosh, what happened?
Speaker 1 (23:07):
I forgot that Katie and Jen were sitting there before
Katie walked in. Jen, I love you. I believe that
before before that scene happened. I do believe Gretchen and
Jen had a conversation and said, this is the story
going to tell. And now now at all tracks, Now
(23:27):
at all tracks, it all makes sense.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
It all makes sense. It all makes sense. Matt saying
that Matt Jameella is smart. Think about it.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Ryan's name has been extracted from this conversation. When the
when the when Katie talks about at dinner, you don't
really hear Ryan name.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Ryan's name come up a lot.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Matt was smart to say that me, Ryan and Slave
have conversations about this. And the fact that before Katie
walked in, you saw Jen and Gretchen waiting on her.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
It's very plausible.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
And now again Katie is I believe Katie's vindicated when
it comes to the story everything else. I do believe
Katie told Kiki Monique, who was on my podcast this week,
I believe that although although Katie saying she would die
on the hill, that she never told Kiki that that
that's why I'm like, Uh, Katie has life on Alexis.
(24:25):
I believe that, I will say, when it comes to
this story, I believe Katie's vindicated, and I think I
think Matt did a wonderful job standing up for his wife,
but standing up for the truth by revealing Ryan's name
in it, because that now implicates Jim.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
I agree with you. I agree with you, And I
also think that I think that you can be a
ten percent liar or a twenty percent liar and an
eighty percent truth teller. So maybe Katie's gotten caught up
and a lot of lies, so that puts her in
the twenty percent bracket. I don't know, we'd have to,
(25:06):
But then I do believe you can also still tell
the truth. And it's it's time to move on from
the Katie of it all, though, like right, like, can't
we just you know, I even like what Emily said,
can we just pop into twenty twenty five, Like let's
stop doing back, you know, twelve years ago thing with
Gretchen and camera. Can we also do that with Katie
and just move forward, you know, in the story.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
So and it's what's needed, is what's needed because I
do Listen, two thieves can't be true. Katie did a
horrible job at presenting herself to be a person that
tells the truth. Right, She did a horrible job setting
herself up as that. Sorry, Katie, you did okay. However, however,
(25:55):
Katie in this instance happens to be telling the truth.
But it's so like the boy who cried Wolf?
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (26:04):
And I and I think that's who Katie has become.
And what's unfortunate is before the aha moment, I was
gonna say this about Jen, how there's a part of
me that has this empathy for Jen because and I
want to ask you this, actually, Alexis, I don't know
(26:26):
what it's like to be a housepight. I know what
it's like to produce them, but it's very different when
you're on the show. You mentioned last week that broke
the Internet that yes, Carlos, we there are aligances like you.
You formed these friendships and you sort of side with
this person because you you you want you want, you
want somebody on your side, You want somebody on your team.
(26:48):
When when Jen said she could not run after Katie
when Emily kicked her out. The only reason why I
do have a soft spot for Gin is because I
don't know what it's like to be around these women.
You are confused, is Katie telling the truth? They did
(27:08):
say Katie failed miserably the live detective test, But you
also want to be friends with these women, and you
do not want to be on an island. And that's
why I felt bad for Jin, because it's hard to
be a housewife on these shows and be ostracized.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Do you go ahead? No, tell me? Tell me now?
Speaker 3 (27:29):
So what were you gonna ask you?
Speaker 2 (27:31):
What I was gonna ask you?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Do you do you understand why Jen perhaps felt stuck
to not go after her friend, but also like, I
also don't.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Want to lose my friendship with the rest of these women.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
I've put myself in that pose, it like in Jen's
spot on that exact day, and I'm like, if I
would have been there, what I have gone after Katie?
And even knowing just out of pure human decency, knowing
that I've been the one ostracized, knowing that I've been
the one you know twice now cause on season I
think it was season seven, they all ganged up on me.
And then last season you know, nobody believed me, and
(28:06):
I got you know, got breathed whatever, but so twice now,
and I just feel like human decency would be she
just got kicked out, she just failed a lie detector
test like so many you know things. I would probably
still have gone after her, just to say, just gone
out and said, hey, you know this is tough. I
know it, I get it, I get it all. We've
(28:27):
got to get to the bottom of it, though, because
there's been too many lives and then you know, we're there.
I don't know, I'm confused. Jen could have said that,
but I just don't think you could. I just felt
really bad that that Katie was alone and you know,
seeing her crying to producers and not one of the
housewives went after her, you know, I or just to
check in. They don't. You don't have to be all
her best friend now and say oh, I forget everything
(28:49):
you've you've done in the past. But you can at
least console her and say, I know that was that
had to be tough, you know. Yeah, And how is
Emily like sleep at night knowing that she was not
mean kicked her out? Like I like, that's just so
I just I don't like it when the show goes
like high school, when it goes to where it's such
a like a not a normal situation, because you're not
(29:13):
really going to kick somebody out of your house like
that if you're having a luncheon and a light detective
test and you're all sitting around laughing, even if you
fail the whole thing. I don't see a world where,
you know, forty to sixty year old women are going
to be kicking people out of a party. It just
drives me crazy.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
No, it's said, and you and I both said the
same thing last week, How like, who the fuck do
you think you.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Are Emily to do that to somebody?
Speaker 1 (29:36):
And listen, it's backfiring on them, It's not. It has
to been a good couple of weeks for them. Jin
last week, Alexas not sure if you saw it. She
went on Instagram and told people to pretty much, you know,
leave her alone.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
If you don't like her anymore, just un.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Follow her and tag Katie. It is evident that she's
unable to handle it. A lot of people have said
that Jen went from fan favorite to most hate it.
It's a fall from grace. You know what it's like
for people to be mean on social media. What advice
do you give someone like Jen who is experiencing a
(30:20):
lot of hatred from people.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Aline, Well, you know, I saw her video and I
don't I'm not on Instagram a ton. I mean, I'm
the worst instagrammer about like commenting on people's posts and
going through and scrolling because I get on and I
get addicted and I'll for like six hours. Okay, I
don't have that off switch, so I just don't go on.
I'll post one or two things about me or what's
happened in my life, and then I'm off right. But
that for some reason, when I opened my screen, that
(30:43):
did pop up, and it does work randomly, and i'll i'll,
you know, comment on cameras or comment on Katie's or
gins or whatever. But it's very rare. But anyway, I
did DM her on that on not DM oh. Yeah,
I commented on her on herdo I hearted it, and
I just said something like I'd have to get on
my phone right now to look at me if I
(31:03):
can remember, something like I feel for you, stay strong
and just know this too shall pass or something like that,
and then she just, you know, sit back and was like,
how did you handle this? And I was like, I
cried every night, and I hibernated and cried every night,
you know, because that's the reality and when you're getting
when you go from people loving you like they did
(31:24):
when I first came back last season, to not getting
a full story shown so that then they don't really
see everything that's transpiring, and then becoming the most hated
is very, very difficult. And so I did cry a lot,
I did hibernate, I did lose five pounds, you know.
So it does affect people. And I do feel sorry
for Jin, regardless of what she did, because they're just
(31:48):
people are so mean. It's just like kicking Katie out
of a party when you're forty and sixty years old.
I don't like what people sit behind their iPads or
their or their phone and our bullies on you know,
on trolling. So Jin just has to stay strong and
it will pass. And I mean, you know, I hope
the Herd Katie do reconcile. I don't know if they have,
but I hope that they do by the end of
(32:10):
the season.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
But we'll see, Yeah, we'll see.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
But now thank you for sharing that because that does
help and listen, guys, it's great to have an opinion.
Alexis and I have one, but look.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Don't run the gamut of like being super mean.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
And yes, I know you're saying, but Carlos, they mean
to Katie, I get it, but it doesn't mean you
have to match the energy. So I do want to
move on to Tamar and Gretchen's one on one that
they had on the beach. Tamarra and Gretchen said down
away from the girls and they talked about their you know,
(32:49):
decade plus long beat.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
Tamra said that, you know.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
We need to address exactly what our issues are, and
they just pretty much brought up everything that happened to
mean them all these years, from Tamra saying that she
saw Gretchen sit on a man's lap and kiss him
while Gretchen was engaged to Jeff to saying that Slade
is a did be dead, Gretchen saying that Eddie is
(33:14):
gay and bringing some guy to bringing some guy and
say that he saw he saw some things to Slade,
you know, calling Tamar fat. It was it was sort
of like, these are the things that we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
One thing that I was like, I thought this was
too much.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Is when Gretchen said that Slade is unable to get
work because of things that Tamar said, I just called
bullshit on that.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
I'm sorry, Carlos.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
I threw up a little in my mouth when I
saw that, because it's like, I'm like, Okay, hold on, Gretchen,
hold on. First of all, great job of playing victim role.
Very good job there again, victim, victim, victim. Your middle
name is victim. So anyway, people get felonies, Carlos, Okay,
people go to jail and get out of jail and
(34:05):
get jobs. I plug one of my neighbors down the
street probably did that. Okay, bad telling me that's words,
Camera's words of calling him a deadbeat dad and label
it like like you know, name calling him a thing
is so powerful, so crazily uh strong. That horse Laye
(34:26):
just can't get work anymore because when people scroll through
his resume, it says dead beat dad under there, I mean,
the biggest crop of bull s I've ever heard. I'm
not cussing, but my blood pressure. I was like sitting
there watching him, like, are you freaking kidding me? Right now?
Like the book can pick up their feet, you know,
get on their feet again after a lot of bad
things and deadbeat dad is not something that's gonna stop
(34:48):
Slades ladies to get off writing, cretch his coattails, and
go get a job.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Period of dad relaxing hit him with the period.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
What was well?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Interesting is uh with Katie.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Katie's professional alexis she said that slave's job is.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
To be Gretchen's bitch. But Donald was like, Katie, you
ate that one like that?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Wait say that again? Wait wait wait I didn't fall
say that again.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Okay, So Katie said to her confessionals that Slade's job
is to be Gretchen's bitch.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
But that's why I said he needs to quit writing
her hotels and go get a job. Like I mean,
I think there was even one time in the seasons
I was filming with Gretchen that she called him her
slept schlepper, she slept stuff. I've never heard that word before,
That's why it rings a bell to me. But so
so stop she happin and start bartending. Okay, I mean
(35:50):
that's what we do, Carlos is we held we call
a spade a spade. Okay, well, I'm just saying we
called a slade a Slade, we called plate of Spade. Okay,
I'm pulling it out people. I just storted. Sometimes, Okay, Carlos,
(36:14):
how are we having too much fun at eight o'clock
in the morning. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Listen, listen, I'm so bad. Join you off them, happen
to your fight because I love it. I love it.
I love it, I love it. I love it.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
So one thing I want to talk about to speaking
of Slade, his look, Vicky did say on a podcast
that when.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
They were filming Awesome with Girls Trip, it was a
season that's not I don't think ever gonna air.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
It's for the Brandy Glamville Turnline, Manto, Bicky, Gretchen, Alex McCord, and.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Camillo Grammar.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
Bicky Godson said alexais that while they were filming it,
that's Lay would call Gretchen incessantly asking what she's wearing
and auto these things, and she's.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Like, that's just Slade, is how you know? Slay allegedly
told Mac that he started Housewives.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
It was and you know, listen, I'm a human being
and in that moment, I was like, look, all of
these things people are saying are also provided by factual
stuff from the clip with Andy Cohen at the reunion
where Slade said I left the show and Andy's like, no,
Joe was no longer.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Here, which means we did not need you anymore. It
made me feel bad.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
So I'm like, dud you a bit feel bad for Gretchen,
And I'm like, if all of this is true, i
just feel like, damn, Gretchen, if all of this is true,
it does feel like you are being led down the
wrong broke sister, and this isn't looking.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Yeah, it's just it's a little I mean, if it
is true, it's a little possessive, a little obsessive, you know,
a little obsession, a little possessive. But I do think
that if Slade went and did something on his own
and got a little piece of his own identity and
life at least, we have so much going on in
a day that it's like he's doing his own thing.
I'm doing my own thing. I mean, yeah, we do
travel a lot together when we have things, you know,
(38:12):
things we have to do for work and s touch.
But I just think I think he probably would really
benefit if he just got something of his own.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
I Listen could not agree more with that. Okay, alexis
last question for you. I know you got a run,
but I need to ask you this. I definitely thought
the girls coming together at the end was fun. They're
on the beach, they're having fun. One of the topics
is this, And I'm like, I can't wait to ask
Alexis this question. So the girls are talking about their
(38:42):
worst breakup stories, Alexis Beleno, what is your worst breakup story?
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Oh gosh, Well, the first thing that comes in mind
that I just can't stop laughing about is here we're
going and her boy raises the garage door. She's got
the knife there.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Loved it. I loved it. I love it. I love it.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
I can't think okay, so I can't think of Oh, oh,
I know, okay. I was dating the point guard on
the Missoo basketball team. Okay, we were kind of boyfriend
and girlfriend. We just hadn't said it. I go to
his house one night after I got done bartending at
back Steakhouse. Okay, I'm so glad I thought of this story.
So and I'd heard he was a player, Okay, i'd heard,
(39:28):
you know, and he's like, he's the fricket. I dated
the quarterback on at Miszoo football and I dated the
point guard on the basketball team. So yeah, I don't
know why I like to date the guys that seemed
to play the girls. But anyway, so I decide I'm
going to go buy his house because it's like ten
o'clock at night and he am not reaching him. This
is that. I get in in the driveway and he's
got all the sexy lights on, you know what I mean,
(39:48):
like the the globe, all the sexy lights, and I'm like,
that's weird because he's supposed to be here alone or
with somebody's it's weird. I walk in and he's making
out standing up making out with a girl under the
little globe thing because he had, you know, his house
had all the good lights and everything.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
And I.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Peeled out of that driveway. I'm talking, I just went.
I just just got the heck out of there.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Was so disgusted, and you know.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
He tried to mend the fence a little and it
just never worked. After that, I'm like, yeah, yeah, that's
all I need. No, that was I left the skid
mark in his gravel because we're in Missouri I'm talking about,
So he had some gravel in the driveway. I left
some skid marks in there because I was that mad.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
And guess what, you left your mark? You literally left
your mark.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Okay. I had a knife that I could have walked
in there with like camera. Dude, I didn't have a nice.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Girl, Okay, So mine is completely different. My Carlos King's
worst breakup story.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
I was in college. It's my first boyfriend. I'm like
nineteen years old, and we were dating like two miles
and you know, I'm like coming off the closet. He
wanted us to have a public relationship. I'm still staying
out home with my parents and I'm like, I'm not
coming out the closet. I mean, Detroit, Michigan is too
(41:14):
I can't do it. My father would like kill me.
So for two months we had like a secret relationship
and he did not like it.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
He didn't liked it one bid. He would complain about
it whatever.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
So he wanted you to be bold, I'm asking. He
wanted you to be bold and like step out with
him and come out with yes. And you were quiet
about it because you weren't quite ready there and your journey,
you weren't there yet exactly. Okay, so keep.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
Going exactly two days before Valentine's Day, I get an email.
The motherfucker broke up with me via email two days
before Valentine's Day. I'm your cheap asshole, like you had
(41:59):
to do it before, or.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
Well sometimes days, but it's like three years for you.
Then it's like you got to you got to grow
up fully to get over that one. Oh my gosh,
I know I'm like.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Your self, a like you're suspening cloud. You couldn't call
me and break up with me. You couldn't. He should
meet email, Alexis.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (42:19):
Ryan Seacrest is my the pluthora of knowledge. Every morning
I listened to him when I'm getting ready, and so
Ryan Seacrest, I believe had says this at some point
he said, because you know, he always gives the facts.
He's very factual, this guy. Anyway, he had done some
One of his topics were the best times of the
largest times of breakups are before Christmas and before Valentine's Day.
(42:39):
You know why, because people don't want to spend the
money on each other if they're gonna they're feeling not
a certain way, and they don't want to spend that
holiday with them. If they're feeling not a certain way.
So you just made the statistics. Carlos. It's one of
the best holidays to be broken up right before, and
you made the stats. Okay.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
So just like they said us weekly rain Dry, I'm
just like us. So Alexis, thank you so much. This
has been a fun episode. I so look forward to
air Bride and me capping this with you.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
You have fun this weekend. I wish I could celebrate
with you. But have fun day. Tell Johnna say hi
and I love you and I'll see you next week.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
I'm headed into Gleam. Now you won't see me like
this often. Okay, they got no they got no powder,
just a little lip gloss and some mascara. So this
is the Raindrope's got the real deal this time.
Speaker 2 (43:28):
You still look good though, baby, know that?
Speaker 3 (43:32):
Yeah? All right, see you next week.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
