Speaker 1 (00:02):
And ye shall seek me and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah twenty
nine thirteen. Thank you for our connection. I am so
humbled by the grace, love, and wisdom that you freely
give to me. You always know what and who is

(00:23):
right for me. Thank you for sending the right people
to me. Thank you for sending me to the right people.
Thank you for showing me how I can best serve you.
And thank you for filling my heart with exactly what
I need in every moment. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
I remember I was standing there looking at the audience
as this gentleman was introducing me, and all of a sudden,
I felt like I was in the audience looking at me,
and I became hyper hyper aware of my physical sensations.
I started to feel my heart racing my chest. I
started to feel my breath shallow as my breathing really

(01:09):
becomes shallow, and my hands became clammy, And by the
time he handed the microphone to me, I was staring
at the audience in just sheer terror.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I grabbed the mic and I tried to speak into it,
and I couldn't even say a word. I was like,
oh oh, I was like I was choking, choking. I
can actually remember it now, and I remember I looked
to the man who introduced me and I handed him
back the microphone and I said, excuse me in a whisper,
and I ran off the stage. And as I ran
off the stage, I remember going out through the back

(01:43):
and I saw an exit door, and just everything in
me wanted to just keep running and just go right
out that door in my suit and lucky tie and
just get the heck out of there. But somehow I
forced myself to go to the bathroom, which was also nearby.
And I went into the bathroom and I splashed water
in my face and put water in my mouth, and
I looked my soul in the eyes and like, Seth, gets.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Your shit together. You have this one moment, don't waste it.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
In this episode of Relentless Hope, Seth Streeter, founder and
Chief Impact Officer of Mission Wealth, teaches us about connecting
our spiritual lives with our professional lives and how when
we do it opens gateways of opportunity personally and professionally.
We learn how Seth came to realize the importance of
this after suffering severe panic attacks, which threatened his successful

(02:35):
career and his wealth management company. As Seth reveals, his
panic attacks, though, became a blessing in disguise, as they
completely shaped the person he is today and how he
sees himself. We learn how Seth had to change his mindset.
Before the panic attacks, Seth saw himself as a professional
who was achieving. He was all about execution, and he

(02:58):
saw his self worth and self esteem come from external validation.
Seth thought that if he ran a marathon, completed an
iron man, or hit a sales goal or career achievement,
then it meant he was worthy, even worthy of being loved.
As Seth explains, he used to keep his spiritual life
in deep commitment to community service in a separate, distinct

(03:21):
world away from his profession. But as Seth shares, he
was wrong. He needed to learn how to connect those
two worlds, and as he did, Seth realized that he
could be of service. He realized that he could be
deeply connected to his vulnerable spiritual self in his career
and his company could thrive. We learn how Seth's business

(03:44):
evolved and how new gateways have opened for him since
he learned to connect his spiritual and professional worlds. We
now hear how Seth's new focus on human transformation through
the trojan horse of money conversations and how he's helping
people everywhere learn how to connect their spiritual and professional
lives too. As Seth explains, he sees this as a

(04:06):
kind of manifesto for people to move forward and find
more consciousness, more love, more purpose and fulfillment in their
lives by looking at wealth through ten dimensions, including spiritual, physical, emotional, social,
and intellectual wealth. We also learned the three step process

(04:26):
that Seth taught himself to help overcome his panic attacks. First,
he had to acknowledge this sensation when he felt them immediately. Second,
he would assure himself that there was nothing to be
afraid of, And third he had to have a coping technique,
which could be as simple as holding a glass of
cold water and feeling the sensation through his fingertips. We

(04:48):
also learn how Seth's experience of suffering and overcoming his
panic attacks taught him humility and how close any of
us can be to that point of no return where
we allow our minds and fears to own overtake us.
Famous person quote takeaway for the day where the spirit
does not work with the hand, there is no art.
