Speaker 1 (00:01):
For even the Son of Man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life
as a ransom for many Mark ten forty five. Dear Lord,
before you, I kneel and I ask that you use everything,
my mistakes and successes for the benefit of others. Please

(00:23):
show me where you need me to serve. Please show
me who you need me to serve. Please show me
how you need me to serve. For I give my
life to you in service of your great glory, to
heed the calling you've placed in my life and to
help you bring about your divine design. Thank you, Lord

(00:46):
in Jesus' name.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Amen, isn't it incredible when we look in the Bible?
Who do you say? Abraham? Go ahead, read about what
happened to Abraham as he got until he was eighty
years old, the amount of mistake. But what's Abraham's legacy?
What's Moses's legacy? What is your legacy? I'll tell you
what your legacy is. Your legacy is your now and

(01:12):
the purpose of time is now. And if you can
live unconditionally and be an appreciator and living in the
core values of gratitude, empathy, accountability, and effective communication. If
you can live your life and pray, make God put
ten people in front of me that I can help.
Can I be of service, and more importantly, can I
find somebody that can help me? Every time we ask

(01:34):
for help. What we're doing is making a statement that
we are not whole without others. That's why we make mistakes.
Because the more people that we all put together, the
less mistakes we're going to make. Because everybody has their
own core competencies, conscious, subconscious, unconscious. As we join everybody

(01:55):
together as one, as we command and work with each
other for the benefit of all, that's when the whole,
the oneness happens. That's when the motivator comes the legacy
that we're looking for.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
In this episode of Relentless Hope, award winning humanitarian and
CEO of Sports One Marketing David Meltzer explains how we're
leaving our legacies now. It's happening every day, and the
legacies that we leave are relative. As David explains, he's
leaving a certain legacy to his wife, another one to

(02:29):
his children, one to his community, and to God. And
while these legacies will happen and are important, David encourages
us to want to leave a legacy for everyone. As
David says, we are all connected. David explains how he
strongly believes in the Latin phrase ipsa la quita, meaning

(02:50):
that which speaks for itself, as he says, if we're
pursuing our potential and we're focused on the now, then
our legacies will take care of themselves. They will speak
for themselves. We learn how David wants to leave a
legacy as an appreciator of all that's relative to him,
meaning he wants to be grateful for everything that has

(03:11):
happened and everything that has come through him, and to
also have added value in the now. David introduces us
to the idea that our legacies go beyond simply our
achievements and successes. It includes how we have reacted to
the legacies of mistake, and the legacy of imperfection and
the legacy of hypocrisy. As David teaches us, as humans,

(03:33):
we make mistakes, we are imperfect, and we have moments
of hypocrisy. Those flaws will also create legacies. David opens
up about how he spent the first part of his
life as a manipulator, over selling and sometimes lying, and
how his lifestyle eventually led him to lose everything he owned,
including his home, boats, and cars, and even a home

(03:56):
he bought for his mother. While he's forgiven himself and
ask for forgiveness from others, he explains how those actions
and results are still part of his legacy, and instead
of hiding those legacies, we learn that David has chosen
to publicly share them for the benefit of others. David
invites us to also consider illuminating our negative legacies for

(04:18):
the benefit of others. As David says, we can learn
from each other and we can all find the miracles
or the blessings that come out of our failures and ignorance.
David encourages us to learn from our past legacies, especially
the negative ones, so we can change the legacy we're
leaving now. As David teaches us, if we want to

(04:38):
think about legacy, all we need to think about is
now who we're choosing to be, how we're choosing to
show up, who we're being of service. All of that
creates our legacy today. We also learn how David wants
his legacy today to be that he's living an inspired life,
to be a motivator, not manipulator, and to live a

(05:01):
life of service and in service to others. David encourages
us to create legacies by finding the blessings around us
and becoming appreciators, to give unconditionally, and to live in
service of others. Famous person quote takeaway for the day,
My life is my message Mahatma Gandhi. All Right, thank

(05:29):
you for.
