But who was he? Well, that depends on who you

to others the thin white Duke or a Ladin Saying
or Major Tom. But who is David Bowie real? To
answer that question, we'll have to go off the record.

to make his musical mark on the psychedelic scene of
swinging sixties London. Of course, there's Ziggy Stardust, the persona
that rocketed David from small town pubs to the world's
biggest arenas in just a few short months. To cope
with a sudden rush of fame, David fortified himself with

drugs and a new character, the icy thin White Duke.
Cocaine drove him the craft, the sound, and vision in
his mind, but it also drove him towards the brink
of madness, fade he'd always feared was his destiny. But
