Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey guys, and welcome back to another week of geodiaries.
The summer has ended. I know, not literally by d
but it just has ended for me. After Labor Day weekend,
I am in full fall mode and I'm actually so
excited for it. I rent a shorehouse every year with

(00:23):
my friends and I wouldn't change it for the world.
But I definitely slack off in the summer. I still
work out what I say, I eat healthy definitely not,
so I am ready to just get back into grind mode.
I can't wait to start meal prepping again and just

(00:44):
consistently working out every day.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I am like so excited.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I am also apartment shopping, so I am going to
be looking at apartments for the next two weekends.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I am so I'm so excited, and.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
The move and tap is kind of soon, so I'm
doing that a lot of exciting things. I'm excited to
be on my own and I feel like everything will
just be more organized too, within my mental space and
routine wise. I know it'll be a little crazy when

(01:21):
I'm moving in, but I can't wait to just have
my fridge to myself, all my meals and just have
everything organized.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I'm so excited. For all of this, and.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I can't wait to like just organize my entire apartment,
just have all of the esthetic organizing tools and just
make everything perfect. And I'm so excited and I can't
wait to take you guys along with me throughout that
entire process. But it is time to lock back in
and get healthy and get back on the grind. So

(01:56):
I am also going to talk about the summer I
Turned Pretty because I told you guys that I was
watching that and I'm fully, fully up to date. I
binged the entire three seasons in four days, so I
was obsessed. I was so locked in. Driving into the city,
I would be watching it. Driving down the shore, I

(02:17):
was watching it. I was watching an episode every second
I could.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I was so locked in.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
So I guess we'll talk about the biggest debate, Team
Conrad Team Jeremiah.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I am just so conflicted.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I don't think I'm I want to say I'm more
team Jeremiah probably than Team Conrad. The reason why I
say that is he had four years to do anything,
literally anything, tell her that he loved her, tell her
that he wanted her, And yeah, he was pulling himself

(02:57):
away and living his life in California and trying to
figure it out. But essentially he was just running away
from his problems the whole time, and I felt like
he was trying to give this poor me act when
I'm sorry. I didn't feel sorry for him at all.
If you wanted this girl so bad, why didn't.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
You fight for her throughout the four years?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Why did you wait until the night before your brother's
wedding to tell his fiance that you're in love with her?
That's like sick to me, That's like some sick. I
don't understand how Jeremiah is ever going to have a
relationship with his brother again. He essentially ruined his wedding.
And do I agree with Jeremiah when he confronted Belly

(03:44):
before their wedding, asking her, listen, if you still have
feelings for Conrad, this wedding can't continue one hundred percent.
How can you go into a marriage knowing that your
fiance has feelings.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
For your brother. It's just it's so messy. It's so messy.
Conrad had four years.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I really don't feel bad for him, And just looking
at Conrad and Jeremiah's relationship, because I was always confused
why people were so like team Conrad, but looking at
the difference of their relationships, I feel like Conrad was

(04:25):
a safe space for Belly, like more nurturing and just
like always took care of her. Jeremiah, she had so
much fun with him. They were genuinely so happy and
they just really enjoyed life together. And I feel like

(04:45):
that's more fun and that's more exciting than a person
just always being there and taking care of you your
whole life. I am really team Jeremiah. I think like
Conrad is like like he's.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
A lo issues.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I can't get past like his actions, and they both
have issues.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Obviously.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Jeremiah has daddy issues and always tries to prove himself
to his father, whereas Conrad always had that acceptance of
his father. I feel like Conrad's issues were just a
lot more noticeable. Like Jeremiah was genuinely a very happy
and still like loved life. I just felt like Conrad

(05:30):
was miserable and is miserable. And now I'm watching there's
a couple previews of tonight's episode, and she's in Paris,
and of course Conrad just shows up everywhere. No guys,
I was so mad in last week's episode when She's

(05:50):
walking to her Paris flight and sees Conrad. Conrad was
going back to California. That is a domestic flight, she
was going an international flight. Those flights should be in
different terminals in the real world. I understand it's a show,
but it's like Conrad shows up everywhere. He's literally everywhere.

(06:10):
I was sitting there and my friends were on the
couch with me as I was watching the latest episode,
and I go, what Conrad's gonna show up. I was
literally predicting every next move. It's like, why Conrad's showing up?
And I just feel like, after this, and I'm so sad,
I just don't think she's gonna end up with Jeremiah.

(06:33):
I really don't. I just feel like, as much as
Jeremiah loves her, he's so hurt and he's probably just
gonna focus on his career and work with his dad.
I just don't know if I see them rekindling. Belly
does have one more year at Finch and Jeremiah has

(06:53):
a semester, but Jeremiah was planning on taking online courses
and working for his dad. So I just don't know
if I see them rekindling. As much as I want
them to. I just want Conrad to like live his
life in California, Belly live out her life in Paris,
and maybe like she just doesn't belong with either of them,

(07:16):
because I just feel like things are so messy now,
it's just too messy to be continued. I guess I'm
so excited. I feel like in tonight's episode, we're going
to see her living her best life in Paris, and
she receives that letter from Conrad in the mail. I'm

(07:37):
just not vibing with what's happening. I really hope that
her and Jeremiah make their way back to each other
because I feel like they were genuinely happy and genuinely
had so much fun. And I feel like Conrad is
like honestly a manipulator in a way. He said that

(07:59):
she he broke his heart. He's the one that basically
said break up with me the night of her prom
and didn't speak to her for four years. He's a
little bit of a gaslighter in my opinion. Also, I
feel like Laurel was totally behind the letter. I don't
think it was an accident. I think Laurel fully gave

(08:24):
or maybe it was an accident because the letter wasn't open,
But can't you like open and then reseal a letter
and make it look like it's it was nothing, because
that was just like so messed up. The letter fully
said Conrad, I've never seen you look at somebody the
way that you look at belly. So then I feel

(08:44):
like that messed with everything as well, because Jeremiah opens
up a letter from his mom. It was not to Jeremiah,
it was to Conrad, stating that the woman that Jeremiah
is about to marry should be with Conrad essentially, or
that that's what she thought was gonna happen, which, like Susannah,

(09:11):
what if neither of them.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Ended up with her?

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Like the letter, I feel like their wedding letters should
have been a little more, like a little more broad.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Then after Jeremiah.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Read that, I just felt like all bets were off.
The letter didn't work out. It's just like everything was
going wrong, and it was the day of how can
you proceed with a wedding when everything was going wrong?
It would have just been too much. And Laurel and

(09:44):
Conrad obviously have a close relationship, but.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I just feel like.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
She was almost rooting for Conrad as well. And obviously
we knew she didn't want Jeremiah and Belly to get
married and she thought that they were too young and
they were making a mistake. But I felt like she
was almost in a very sneaky way, pushing Conrad to

(10:18):
tell Bellie.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
How he felt.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
So it was very messy. But I'm really loving Taylor
this season. I just feel like she has grown so
much and I just feel like she's very confident. She
also has her together. You know, I felt bad for
her because I felt like with her mom, she plays

(10:44):
the mom role in her family and she's very responsible.
She tries to make sure everything's together and takes care
of her mom, which is super sweet, but you know,
she does need to be a kid and let her
mind make mistakes and not always be there when her
mom is about to fail. She really surprised me this

(11:06):
season and how she handled things with Steven's coworker.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
It was, I feel like a classic girl move.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
When the person you like is talking to someone, now
you're obviously gonna push her to be with the guy
or pursue it. But I'm happy it didn't work out
in the end. I'm happy they kissed and realized that
there was nothing there, and now Taylor and Steven can

(11:37):
live out their fairy tale. My prediction for how this
season is gonna end, I just feel like it's so
messy at this point.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
If she goes back to Conrad.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Regardless Jeremiah and Conrad, I do not think that they
are going to be able to sustain a relationship. But
this is fully destroying. What Susannah would have wanted is
for them to be family and always be at the
cousin's house together. So I just feel like it can
only work if she rekindles with Jeremiah. But I feel

(12:23):
that Jeremiah will be able to find somebody else. He's
so cute as the best personality.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I don't think that that'll be an issue. I feel like.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Conrad is not going to be able to find anybody else.
He's so in his fields and like sad boy Era,
he needs.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
To get over it.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
But I feel like she's going to end up with Conrad,
even though this is not what I want. And I
think that Stephen and Taylor are going.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
To be together.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I honestly think that Belli's parents my I oddly get
back together. They've been screwing around a little bit and ugh,
I didn't touch on this, which this is not really
a prediction, but I can't believe that Conrad and Jeremiah's

(13:19):
dad has been with the Secretary this entire time. So
he was with the Secretary when she had cancer the
first time, up until she passed, and now, oh, four
years later, I'm dating the secretary again. But I know

(13:40):
they played it off like they didn't know this information,
but this was like, this has been going on for
so long since the first time that Susannah got cancer,
then she got cancer again, passed away. He's been screwing
the Secretary this entire time, and then decide to play

(14:00):
to the boys that, oh, your mother has been gone
for four years. Now I'm dating Caitlin Bull.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
He's a pig, literally a pig.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I think she's oddly going to end back up with Conrad,
but it's never going to be the same. Conrad and
Jeremiah are just not going to have a relationship and
I don't know how they'll ever be a family again.
And Cousins or Belly could not choose anyone, which I

(14:31):
think that would be the best decision to not choose
either of them, and at least that'll maybe give them
hope to become a family again one day and embrace
the cousin's house and be all together like Susannah wanted.

(14:51):
But if she chooses Conrad or if she chooses Jeremiah,
it will not ever be the same again. Because even
Conrad said it, he hates Jeremiah for being with Belly.
He can't stand the fact of being around them. He's

(15:13):
just gonna stay in California and hide like he's been
doing so unless Conrad doesn't get with what Conrad wants.
Conrad's gonna hide in California and never come back. If
she ends up being with Jeremiah, I think there could

(15:33):
be some unity of becoming a family again and slowly
working towards that. If she picks no One, maybe they'll
be able to make their way back.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
But probably not. It'll probably never be the same.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Also, Belly's the problem as much as it's team Conrad
team Jeremiah. What about she also falls onto whichever brother
is convenient at the time and doesn't fully let the
feelings from the other brother go before getting into a

(16:13):
new relationship with the other brother. So I just feel
like she really needs to pick nobody because her feelings
are so conflicted, which I think the best decision for
her was to pick up and go to Paris, try
to find herself again, do something that makes her happy,
and do something for herself, because she is ultimately the

(16:37):
problem too. She never fully let herself heal and get
over one brother before moving on to the next, and
the brothers also, each one of them were pursuing her
as she's trying to pursue a relationship with the other brother,
so it was messy. I just think the best answer

(17:00):
would be to choose nobody. Bellie is also taking the
death of Susannah very very hard. She was extremely close
to Susannah. Belly was like the daughter Susanna never had.
Belly had her own room in the beach house. Susannah
would get Belly whatever she wanted. And if Bellie did

(17:24):
choose herself, she would lose a lot. She would lose Cousins,
she would lose Jeremiah and Conrad, she would lose everything
that she was holding onto. So I think she is

(17:44):
also so conflicted and wants to pick one of them
because at least she'll be able to have Susannah close
to her when she goes to Cousins and when she's
with one of her sons, because Susannah always used to
say that Belly was gonna end up with one of them.

(18:08):
So I think it's a lot for a twenty one
year old to decide. But I do think the smartest
decision will be for her to pick herself. But I
just know she's not gonna all right. And that is
it for this week of geodiaries. See you next week,

(18:29):
Love you guys.
