Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey guys, and welcome back to another week of giadiaries.
I am in Turks and Caicos with Tar Cosmetics, and
I am freaking out. This is by far the craziest
brand trip I have ever been on in my life.
And I was lucky enough to bring a plus one,
so I brought my sister Milania. But let's just like
(00:23):
kind of start from the beginning and where my mindset
is on this. So Tar Cosmetics basically put brand trips
on the map in my opinion, the second Tart started
doing these iconic brand trips where me myself as a viewer,
would sit on TikTok, watch these brand trips and quite
(00:44):
literally manifest that I will be here one day maybe.
And it's funny because last year I was working with
somebody and I told this person, I.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Hope I one day.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Am invited on a Tart Cosmetics brand trip, and it's
so weird. A year later, I am here, and it's
the craziest feeling and craziest thing ever. I really never
never thought I would be here. You know, I think
I'm a little hard on myself. You don't want to
give yourself credit. And it's just really a dream to
(01:25):
be here and I am so beyond grateful that they
chose me to be on this incredible trip. But it
is definitely lived up to all the expectations and more. Guys,
we are at a compound right now, like a full
blown compound. It's a mansion. It's insane. Everybody has their
(01:46):
own rooms. We have our own private beach.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Anything.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
You could imagine. People at your service. Twenty four to seven.
You can get glam before night's out. There's iv like
it is crazy. Today we are going to see dogs
and I am gonna die because what are the odds
that I possibly take.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
A dog home? Like, Oh, that's gonna make me so sad.
I want to like die.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
But yesterday we arrived in Turks and Caicos. It was beautiful.
I flew from Newark Airport to Miami and then from
Miami we got on a jas X flight to Turks
and Caicos. From Miami to Turks and Caicos, it was
only about an hour and a half drive, so it
was not too bad. We landed in Turks and Caicos
(02:38):
and then took shuttles to the house.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
And we had some downtime.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
We just were honestly looking at where we were and
enjoying the beach and the sunset, and then it was
time to get ready for our rave party. So last
night was our anything that Glows party. A lot of
people wore white so that you could glow in the dark,
and there was face painting and body paint everything everywhere,
(03:05):
and it was pretty insane.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
They had this whole party on the beach.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
It was basically like we were having our own rave,
which was amazing and oh fun fact, yes this did
indeed happen. Brie got stitches last night. Yeah, so this
was crazy. She was doing a cartwheel you know when
you are with you know when Okay, how.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Do I describe this?
Speaker 1 (03:33):
She was basically doing a cartwheel where like you grab
the person's body and you cartwheel together.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Like you
get the vibe. So she did that and then.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
She ended up falling into this tart sign that was
actually glass. So then a piece of glass quite literally
sliced the back of her arm and she had to
get five stitches.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
So Marien is the best.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
She has the whole She's connected to the whole island
of Jerks and caicos.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
It is so funny.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
But she texted her doctor because she comes here every
year with her family. Doctor came about an hour later,
and I was holding Breeze hand the entire time as
she was getting stitches, and I could not believe it.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I probably looked like I was gonna pass out. But
she's surviving, she's loving.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
And she now has stitches, which is crazy. We are
cuddling the island's fairy friends. I am literally dying. We
are giving back to Potcake Place K nine Rests You,
(04:46):
which is an organization dedicated to protecting and creating better
lives for these local animals here in turks So.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I am so excited. I can't wait to meet these puppies.
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
But then today we have an eighties themed beach bash,
so we're wearing our one pieces, fanny packs neon colors.
I'm excited for the vibes. I'm actually obsessed with my outfit.
So I'm so excited to put this on. And like
I said, guys, glam anything you need quite literally anything
(05:24):
is available to us here in turks So. As you
guys saw, I announced signing to CIA. They are amazing.
They are such an incredible agency. And I am so
happy to have now announced that I signed with them.
I seriously, this is a dream come true. I think
(05:47):
it's weird because as your career evolves, you realize that
you need to do things to help and benefit your career.
For the longest time, I was just comfortable with my
team and it was comfortable, and that was it, you know,
it was comfortable, and sometimes you need to make decisions
for yourself and for your career to benefit you and.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Bring you to the next level.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Agency started reaching out, people started becoming interested, and CIA
was an amazing choice, an amazing decision, and I'm so
happy that I am now signed with them.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
I think it's rewarding.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
When you do something big and you hear from others
how big this decision was. Once CAA made the announcement,
I received so many texts from so many people congratulating
me on signing with them and how big it was
and how big of a deal it was, and that
was pretty incredible to hear that and to just kind
(06:46):
of feel like you made the right decision, if that
makes sense.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
So it was.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Really amazing, and the positivity from signing with the agency
has been incredible, and.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
I am really happy.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Like I've said to you guys so many times, I
think this really is has been the best year of
my life. All this week, you know, signing with CIA,
getting invited to the tour trip, hitting one million on Instagram, Like,
I just never thought that I would be here in
this moment. And I think that is just, you know,
(07:25):
being a little hard on yourself, and that's kind of
what I do. I'm very hard on myself, and I
feel I don't give myself credit until it happens. So
obviously now I you know, things are happening in front
of my eyes and I'm seeing the results and I'm
(07:47):
seeing things happen, but I don't really give myself credit again,
like I just said, until it happens. So right now
I'm sitting here and I'm giving myself credit, and I'm
feeling a sense of like, damn, You're in a really
great spot. Like I think the reason why I never
(08:10):
really gave myself credit was because, you know, I felt
like my image and the reason I was recognized or
had the following was because of my family, and one
hundred percent I think its started that way. But now
I feel like you guys are genuinely here because you
(08:31):
like me, and you are here because of me and
not because of anything else. And I love obviously that
some of you have been with me since day one,
and that's obviously like we're the OG fans are amazing
because you guys genuinely have loved me since day one.
But now, obviously after Special Forces and hitting a million
(08:54):
on Instagram and just all these insane milestones that have
happened recently, I'm feeling sense of, you know, love and
appreciation from all of you. That is like damn Like
I like Gia, Like she is standing on her own
now and creating her own image, and that's also what's
(09:18):
crediting and rewarding.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
And I am embracing that and owning that, and that
is kind of where I'm at.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
But I cannot wait to fill you guys in on
the rest of this tart trip. Everybody is so amazing here,
The creators are incredible. I am just having the best time.
We have so many people here that I you know, honestly,
(09:47):
I did know a couple of people coming on this.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Brand trip, but not too many.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
So it's really fun to come and bond with other
creators and just make friends that you didn't have before,
and brand trips kind of you know, they force you
to talk to other creators and get to know people.
I think it's kind of crazy because when you go
(10:15):
to events or you go to work events in New
York or here or there, you're so focused on like, okay,
yes I'm here for work that like you're in and
out of events, you really don't get the chance to
get to know people or talk to people. But these
brand trips, like you really get to know other people.
And that's what's amazing, and that is what has been
so amazing and so fun. So I can't wait to
(10:37):
fill you guys in on the rest of this brand trip.
But love you guys so much. And this is just
a little rant. I guess you guys are like my therapy.
So I love you guys until next time.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Bye,
