Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, folks, Donald Trump, he is stopping citizens from
nearly twenty countries from coming into the United States. And
of course we know he's targeting African nations, no shot.
He called africanations shittholds countries in his first term. And
so these restrictions by the twice impeached, criminally convicted felon

(00:21):
in chief showcases that what he really wants is white
people in America.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
So if we.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Unpacked, we're talking about Afghanistan. If you look at the
people Afghanistan, Iran, those some of the countries.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Oh, guess what all y'all Cubans.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Y'all was sitting here celebrating, throwing parties about Trump being elected.
And guess what he just told y'all can folks, y'all
can't come here either, okay, folks. And so when we
start unpacking all the other countries, guess what we're talking about. Sudan, Congo, Haiti, Chad,

(01:01):
Look at this, Libya, sama Ya, Yemen, all these nations.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
We got Cuba.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
But as a whaler, Lyles faced partial restrictions on travel
and immigration as well.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
The banners that the begin June ninth.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
It is applied to both permanent immigrants as well as
folks with Tipperary visitors with exceptions for US green cards
and holders in sports events, stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
So listen to this idiot, is.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
A president on your new travel ban?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Why now?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And if the Boulder attack was part of your reasoning,
why not include Egypt on that.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
List where the suspect is from?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
One?

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Well, because Egypt has been in a country that we
deal with very closely.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
They have things under control.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
The countries that we have don't have things under control.
And why now I can say that it can't come
soon enough? Frankly, we want to keep bad people out
of our country. Divided administration allowed some horrid this people
and we're getting them out one by one and we're
not stopping until we get them out.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
We have thousands of murderers.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
I even hate to say this in front of the
Chancellor because.

Speaker 6 (02:10):
You have a little problem too with some of the
people that were allowed in your country. It's not your fault,
it's not your fault. It shouldn't have happened. I told
her it shouldn't have happened what she did. But you
have your own difficulty with that, and we do, and
we're moving them out.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
And we're moving them out very strongly, but it can't
come fast enough.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
We want to get them out. We want to get
them out now.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
We don't want to have other bad people coming into
our country using the word band I'm being nice.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Well, New York Congressman he you know, this was actually funny.
He was on CNN and he finally said, but why
Democrats should be saying about the truth of what's going on?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Take it out.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
The other executive action that President Trump took tonight banning
travel from these twelve nations, restricting it partially from seven others.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
What is your reaction to that move from the White
House tonight. I mean, it's pretty.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Consistent with what his quote unquote immigration policy is, which
is just essentially to keep anyone who's not white out
of the country. And that's what he's trying to do
with these massboard deportations of people who are going through
the asylum process, which is a lawful pathway. That's now
what he's trying to do in targeting these specific countries.

(03:27):
And so it's a combination of this effort to push
forward with this great replacement theory as well as just
to distract from what's really going on, which is a
revolt against his terrible reconciliation bill that cuts taxes for
billionaires and increases our deficit by two and a half

(03:47):
trillion dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yannik gil is senior counsel at Human Rights f US.
He joined us right now. He does not want black
and brown people in this country. It's abundantly clear, and
I can't say.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
It anymore than Representative Dan Goldman.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
This is not immigration policy, this is not foreign affairs,
and this abundantly has nothing to do with national security.
This is about race. And when we look at the
countries that were chosen, there's only two things that they
have in common. One majority of the countries are majority
Muslim countries and two these are all black and brown countries.

(04:26):
And as you said at the top of the show,
it's not a coincidence that over half of them are
African nations or predominantly black nations like Haiti. Again, this
is following a terrible terrorist attack that happened on the soil,
but it was clearly used in an excuse, Otherwise Egypt
would have been part of this list. This is following

(04:47):
a long list of previous bands that he tried. In
the first administration, He got sued, He tried again, he
tried again, And it's clear this is nothing more than
a attack on anyone that doesn't fit what Donald Trump
thinks an American should look like. It's brazenly anti black

(05:09):
and racist assault on our human rights.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Do you expect there to be more lawsuits this time?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Absolutely, in addition to the lawsuits that are coming from
human rights. First, many of our partners were up, we
were in communication. I was in the middle of a dinner,
had to pick up my laptop and begin to work
and plan and strategize. We're all trying to figure out
exactly which parts of the INA he's trying to use,
and whether or not it makes sense, exactly how and

(05:39):
when and where to strategically litigate these matters. These things
are all unconstitutional, The movements that he's doing are all illegal,
and it's clear this is simply a racist attack on
our human rights, nothing more and nothing less.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
And it's no surprise Republicans are going along with it.
And when you heard him give the explanation Egypt was
on the list, how much of a joke.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Was that.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
If you don't laugh, you'll cry Roland Because you have
to think when I saw that Cuba was also on
the list. Venezuela was also on the list. You may
recall from our first conversation with Proud Florida Man, and
I can't wait to speak with some of those Republican
offices and just ask them, what are you going to
say to your constituents now that the legal pathways that

(06:26):
they're always lauded, the same legal pathways that they say
you should be taking, are now further being crumbled. This
is only going to hurt asylum seekers. These are going
to hurt refugees, people trying to get student visas. These
aren't criminals. These are people attempting to do things through
existing legal pathways that Trump is again shutting down. If

(06:47):
you have too much melanin.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
And a lot of those people that if Florida they
were voting for him, they were having celebrations those Cubans
in Venezuelan's but I bet they haven't. They might want
to get our shirts. Has that we try to tell you,
And you.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Know, there's a part of me that doesn't want to
say I told you so, but I think right now
we do. We have to remind folks, this is exactly
what you voted for. This is not a surprise.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
This is exactly what happened.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
In Trump won. This is what he ran on. He
said that he was going to close the borders. He
said in twenty eighteen, we need more people from Norway.
He's saying the quiet part out loud. And at this point,
we are not facing the repercussions of a racist president
that only wants people that look like his wife coming
into this country.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Oh yeah, that's exactly That's exactly what it is. And
so it is no doubt. All right, Yani Michelle, appreciate it.
Thanks a lot, Always a pleasure.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Roland, all right, folks, my pound, doctor o'hannes and Georgetown University,
School of your Foreign Service, Washington, d C. Robert Pattillo.
He's an attorney. Also not working on Capitol Hill. What
are you doing on Capitol Hill?

Speaker 7 (07:55):
We write stuff, you know, things be around, so you
got to keep it vague, Rowland.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
And keep evade. Tell me what the hell you doing.
We're working for We'll.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
Work for Congress with Jackson. I'm making sure Jonathan Jackson, Yeah,
not Ronnie Jackson, Texas not to feel good.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
So you guys specified, Yeah, so we.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
Made sure working with nating conversations and articulating things for
the district.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
So let's get right to it. No, I want to
start with you. I mean when you look at these countries, uh,
I mean it's targeted black people and they're like, again,
we tried to tell these people what was going down,
but nah, they ain't want to listen. You're really on mute, Nola,

(08:39):
You're really on mute. You really on mute. We got
to go through this again.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yes, you're on mute.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
We're just gonna go to rabbit by Noah's how to
figure what she doing with her laptop?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Robert, I mean, this is a clear tark.

Speaker 8 (09:06):
Yeah, finally, look, tell your audience this is a new system.
This is a whole new system, y'all. Don't let him
sit there.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
It's the same laptop yo ass been using for the
last year.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
No, it's not.

Speaker 8 (09:22):
This is brand new.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Well, guess what read the manual? Send it to me.
Now read your manual?

Speaker 8 (09:30):
Can I finish?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Now? Hell, you didn't even start. You didn't even start.

Speaker 8 (09:37):
I wish I could have asked Yannika question because I
wanted to ask him a question about the Supreme Court.
You know, in twenty seventeen, the Supreme Court told Donald
Trump that the band's were legal on the grounds of
presidential authorities. So I'm curious as to what the new
approaches would be for this extension of the travel bands.
And this is what makes it very interesting is that

(09:59):
it's in extension of the twenty seventeen and twenty twenty
travel bands.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Right.

Speaker 8 (10:03):
And so while all the lower courts, like Yannick said,
said that it was completely illegal, that it was racist,
it was biased, the Supreme Court of you know, the
Supreme Court said well, he can pretty much do what
he wants to do. And then the second thing I
want to point out this is also on the heels
of the second round of Afrikaaners coming to the United States.
I think they just got here yesterday. So it is

(10:24):
very clear who Donald Trump thinks are good people and
who he thinks are bad people. And clearly, if you
have any melonin in your skin, you are automatically deemed
a bad person.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
You know, Robert, you know, one of the countries is
Sierra Leone, and there's a certain black actor from Houston
who is big time maga. It's amazing how his Twitter
feed has been real quiet. He's got dual citizenship. It
was Sierra Leone and the United States. And I'm talking
about Isaiah Washington. He made a whole big deal. It's amazing.

(11:00):
He's been quiet that Trump is now banning folk from
the country of his roots, his DNA.

Speaker 7 (11:08):
You know, I think it's interesting. I think many of
the people in the MAGA movement are finding this out.
We'll probably talking about Elon finding this out a little
bit later. But the fact that Donald Trump is a
white nationalist, that has to be the prevailing things to
Donald Trump is a white nationalist. His belief is that
America should be a majority white nation. How do we
know this? As we just stated, he is importing white

(11:29):
people to the United States of America from South Africa.
There are other countries, there are actual genocides taking place
right now, and we and what are we seeing. We
are seeing that despite the genocide taking place in Sudan,
fits of genocide taking place and other parts of me
and mar and other parts of the world, those people
are literally banned from coming to the United States of America.

(11:51):
But he is welcoming with open arms on the justification
of a case white genocide that we are going to
bring in South Africans go a step further. He wants
to make Greenland a territory and next to their white people,
also to the United States of America. Those nice didn't
Mark Dutch or whatever they call those people from then Mark.
He wants those in America. He wants to make Canada

(12:12):
the only other majority white country in the Western hemisphere.
He wants to make that the fifty first state. Hows
more explicit does he need to be in his policy?
He is saying that if you are ninety miles off
the US coast and facing civil unrest in Haiti, you
can't come here. But if you're in South Africa and
somebody burned someone else's field and there's a video, we.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Need you here.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
So from here on out, for the people who thought
he was joking, who did not believe what he was saying,
who looked at Steve Bannon, who looked at Stephen Miller,
who hurt Charlottesville, and very very fine people on both
sides that didn't believe it, we are now seeing that
that is the truth of where we are at currently.
And when you're looking at the white nationalists agenda, now
you have to recontenttualize every single policy that Trump is

(12:57):
put in place to fit it within that rubric. We're
talking about taking away snap benefits from poor families that
is meant to directly impact poor black and brown families.
We're talking about getting rid of public housing systems and
many of the other programs that's why reducing the population
of black and brown people in this country. We're talking
about cutting off usaid to nations around the world there
are in need of development aid, which people of estimate

(13:20):
have already cost as many of fifty thousand lives globally.
It's about controlling that. And once you realize that America
has now fallen to a white nationalist government, that has
to motivate the way that you coordinate your response going forward.
This is no longer a political response that we've traditionally had.
There's no longer a place where we're going to say, well,
we'll wait till the midterm elections and maybe we'll change

(13:41):
campaign finance alls or something. We're in a exsistential battle
for the future of black and brown America, and currently
we're more worried about what's going on with Haley and
DDG and where else is going on in pop culture
than actually concentrating on what is the erosion and the
reversal of the entirety of the civil rights movement.

Speaker 9 (13:58):
Hello Isaac, here's the third founder and CEO of fan Base.
Listen to what I'm about to tell you. The window
to invest in Fanbase is closing. We've raised over ten
point six million of our seventeen million dollar goal. That
means there's room for less than six thousand, three hundred
and seventy people to invest in Fanbase for the average amount.
The minimum to invest in fan Base right now is

(14:20):
three hundred and ninety nine dollars. That makes you an
owner in fan Base today. Go to start engine, dot
com slash fan base to invest. Why because current social
apps have taken advantage of users for far too long
with content suppression, shadow banning, homepol racist content, and no
real tools for monetization and equity. Fan Base has over
one point four million users in counting, allowing anyone to

(14:43):
reach all their following and monetize their content from day one.
Social media is the new TV, and whoever owns are
apt to distribute that content have the opportunity to own
potential billion dollar companies. While big platforms with certain futures
are failing to serve their users. Fan base is stepping
up to fill the gap. Don't wait until it's too late.
Invest now. Invest for yourself and your future. Go to

(15:06):
start engine, dot com, slash fanbase, and own the next
generation of social media.
