Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show podcast. Well,
it's great to see again. Thanks for tuning into the
EIB network. People of Earth. The numbers eight hundred two
eight two twenty eight eighty two. Oh ye, A good weekend.
It is the first Monday of may or as some
(00:20):
people like to say, and I told both my teenage sons,
it's the countdown to Mother's Day. Don't be scrambling around
Saturday night going to the gas station looking for a
Mother's Day gift for Sunday, because you have plenty of
time and you both have jobs. I'm sure that sounds
familiar to a lot of people. Great to be the
(00:42):
guide today on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Checkout Rush Limbaugh
dot com. We have so much to cover today. I
can't I was talking to Ali and some of the
other EIB team members. I just can't comprehend how quickly
news changes in our current an environment when you have
(01:02):
this many liars in powerful positions, whether it's network news
or Joe and Joe Biden. That's part of the reason.
You know, I never thought i'd say this, but I
almost feel bad for some people in the news media. Yeah,
I know. I never thought that would come out of
my mouth, because not only do they have to cover
(01:26):
up on a regular basis for the people that they
need to protect, and they have to put stories on
the back burner and not cover things that are happening.
They know they're covering liars and they've got to try
to maintain credibility, and they're not telling the truth. It's crazy.
It's crazy. One of the biggest things right now is
covering up the mask scam. They're covering up the border crisis,
(01:52):
which has turned into a human trafficker's dream. By the way,
I don't know if you noticed, but the news media
is ramping up new attacks on President Donald Trump. He
is the forty fifth president of the United States who
was just re elected in November, which you're not allowed
to talk about anymore. But they're ramping up new attacks
(02:14):
every day. I don't know if you've seen this, but
there's new investigations, there's new Yeah, but what was he
doing on his taxes in June of ninety three or four.
This is the level of I believe it's panic. I
believe it's fear. It goes without saying it's absurdity. But
when you look at how John Kerry's big oil investments
(02:38):
get ignored by most of the media. I saw they
were talking about it on Fox Today. And he's the
climate what is he? The climate goof climate czar? Whatever
he is, He flies over in a thirty million dollar jet,
probably bought with oil investments. We also have an election
update on the show today, Yes we do. Six states
(03:01):
are churning along doing the heavy lifting that the news
media and the Democrat Party and the Republican Party refused
to do. However, there are some very courageous, honest and
ethical people in states like Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia. You
know the drill. And the reason I believe that's moving
(03:26):
in the right direction. When I say moving in the
right direction, I mean the reason I believe the audits
and the vote counting are heading to a culmination that
most honest people will appreciate is because the news media
again is melting down. The attacks are They're ludicrous. Not
(03:48):
the rapper, but they're ludicrous. These attacks. I don't know
why anyone would attack American citizens or American politicians that
ask for open, transparent elections. And then, of course and
Rush rush knew about this for years. He nailed this
(04:09):
for years. How the left is redefining language. How the
left can get away with not following the science just
by saying, follow the science. We follow the science. Just
follow the science. But how does the how does the
mask thing work? I mean, why does my nine year
old have to wear the mask on the soccer field
(04:32):
when it's eighty two degrees Sonny and Windy, Well, just
follow the science. Now, that is in how it works.
It might work in your college that way. But what
we learned is especially we learned this for years, but
really with Obamacare, we learned it. If you dress in
a lab coat and you go on any late night
TV show or the view, you have credibility with the left.
(04:56):
You just have to wear a lab coat. Now I
went one step further. I bought a stethoscope. If you
put on a lab coat and you wear a stethoscope,
you could go to any school in America and a
third of the faculty will believe what you say. They'll
(05:16):
presume you're a doctor just when you're heading in. This
is where we are in America today. Eight hundred two,
eight two twenty eight eighty two we mentioned the mask.
I think sadly we're finding out, probably a year and
a half too late, but we're finding out the power
of the teachers union. You're seeing it on display nationwide,
(05:38):
maybe in your district. The kids have gone back, but
they have to be in hazmat suits. I'm exaggerating, but
we've seen and we feel the power of big federal unions,
and it's scary. Now we're finding out. I don't know
if you saw this story. It's breaking. It's unlike three
(05:59):
different forms now and over at New York Post, John
Levine did a great story powerful teachers Union influenced CDC
on the school reopenings. So the teachers unions were communicating
with the CDC so they would know how to influence
(06:22):
the Biden regime. It was a full court press. So
this is a federal agency putting the brakes on a
complete reopening of in person classrooms because of pressure from
the Teachers, Teachers Union, the American Federation of Teachers, and
the CDC. Now many people would call that corruption. I'm
(06:47):
sure it's just going to be called everybody getting along
in the Biden regime. This is a very dangerous thing
because masks have been proven numerous times to be very
bad for certain visuals, and they've already been proven numerous
times not to do what they're supposed to do. Now
(07:09):
it's just turned into a blatant power grab. So, for example,
did you ever think in your lifetime you would hear
someone in the Oval office like the current guy Biden
say well, we're not sure about this July fourth either,
(07:29):
if you can celebrate it, if you can go out
with your friends, whatever it may be, it's absurdity. It's absurdity.
The mask served their purpose and they ran their course
about a year ago. But this is such an attractive
this is such an attractive item to control people. And Rush, Well,
(07:50):
what it gets down to is this the Democrats, just
like they hijacked our language, they hijacked our science. Here's Rush.
I want to go back to August already first, because
Biden said on that day or thereabouts that in terms
of locking down the country again, if a scientist came
(08:11):
along and told him he had to do it, he
would do it. Now Here again, the point was, I'm
a smart guy, I'm Joe Biden. I'm gonna listen to
the science. They're trying to say that Trump is a buffoon,
that Trump is an ignoramus and an idiot thinks he's
smarter than the scientist, doesn't trust the science, and that
(08:32):
that's unacceptable. Here is what I said about this, the idea.
We got some dufus Democrat presidential candidate promising everybody he
will relock down the country if some scientist comes along
and tells him, we have to ought to scare the
but Jesus out of everybody, because that is the last
(08:52):
thing we need to do. Shutting down the country would
be a disaster. It was a disaster the first time.
The last thing we need is more of it. But
note this science business. Anybody can put on a white
coat and stand next to Joe Biden claim to be
a scientist. Is your report saying based on my scientific
analysis of the scientific circumstances, the scientific criteria we've looked
(09:16):
at here in the scientific theorems and algorithms, it seems
necessary to me to say, as a scientist, and we
need to shut down the count of plugs is okay,
We're gonna shut down the country. Scientist here said, so
you know why science has become as politicized as the
Democrat Party itself. Is the last thing in the world
(09:38):
ought to be because science says so, or a scientist
said so. And the scary thing about that, in addition
to the fact that Rush was ahead of this, and
you can slowly but surely historically deconstruct pretty much every
leftist myth and how they use all the touch points
(10:01):
that they've redefined. So and later in the show we'll
talk about this ridiculous Green New Deal and just some
other absurdities that are based on I always say that
it's rotten wood. I say the Democrat platform is rotted wood.
And if you have if you have rotted wood, you
could pretty much make up anything. Remember the lie. Nine
(10:24):
percent of scientists agree that that was a lie. It
was a scam. It it was less than what, less
than a hundred scientists they even spoke to. It was absurd,
but it became part of the myth. And that's that
science line. You're not learning science, you're learning to say science.
(10:44):
That's the problem. That's where we are today. That's why
you have fifty five year old liberal men walking in
parks with a mask on in May of twenty twenty one. Well,
I believe the science. No, you just say that you
believe the science. If you saw the science you would
have stopped wearing a mask a year ago. That's the
(11:07):
scary thing. Carol markovitz Over at the New York Post
has a great article the CDC's cruel, irrational guidance has
trapped our kids in the forever pandemic. And many of
us said this, We said this a year ago. And
I'm in Pennsylvania and my governor is one of the worst.
(11:28):
Now he's no Cuomo, I'll give you that because he
hasn't written a stupid book yet. But Governor wilf in Pennsylvania,
he's one of the worst. And this level of misguided
judgment and overreach with control has done so much damage
to children. I was talking to the mother of an
autistic child recently, and she was so upset that the
(11:53):
child had to wear a mask unnecessarily even outside. If
you know any thing about autism, you know how horrific
that must be for that child. But even worse, you
saw recently the person that collapsed running the track meet.
The absurdity of the mask has become clear, and we're
(12:13):
going to revisit this latest later in the show. It's
not just a control grab. There's so much more to
the absurdity. Of the mask. But what we're learning now
is the CDC and the Teachers Union are pretty much
(12:34):
determining mask policy. And it doesn't surprise me with the
Biden regime because if you recall doctor Fauci, the greatest
doctor that ever walked the earth. Perhaps you've seen him.
He's yes, he has beautiful suits, he's eighty years old.
He's contradicted himself on mask policy five different times. This
(12:56):
is the Rush Limbaugh Show. I'm your guide today, Ken Matthews.
We'll be right back. I think about the level of
control that the CDC has, it's scary. I'm Ken Matthews
the guide today on the RUSCHELM. Boss Show eight hundred
two A two twenty eight eighty two. When you go
(13:17):
back to the mask policies, back to the very beginning,
you know, back when they said we're going to flatten
the curve. We'll have this thing knocked out in three
months and we'll be back to normal. And most conservatives
with a brain said, you know what, once you get
this many grown ups complying to such bs, you're never
(13:40):
getting it back. You're never going to have that freedom back.
And here we are, here, we are approaching our second
our second Mother's Day, our second July fourth, right around
the corner. And we're pretty much in the same spot,
aren't we. We're in the same spot ours and other politicians,
(14:04):
and you know, everybody has got to say in this,
the unions. The only people that don't have a say
in this are we the people. Have you noticed that?
This is why I wanted to go back to Carol
Markovitz's article about the damage that mask have done to kids. Now,
(14:25):
we don't have enough time in this show to share
all the damage, especially to the younger kids, like the
seven and eight year olds out there playing t ball
and eighty degree weather that can't breathe when they're running
the basis for the first time, but she brought up
the fact that the CDC just issued camp guidance. How
(14:45):
about that boy? They got their hands and everything, don't they,
even though they've contradicted themselves for months. Clearly written, she said,
by someone who's never attended summer camp and isn't even
mildly aware of what goes on there. The c EC
is suggesting kids be separated by three feet at all
times and six feet when they're eating. Now, I just
(15:07):
think that's mean. I mean, look, we have two teenage boys.
I'm pretty safe three or four feet away, even if
they're chewing with their mouth open. But sometimes there's stuff flying.
The CDC maintains and vaccinated adults who work at these
camps should continue to be basted, and of course kids
should wear mask two. This is an absurd call. These
(15:32):
people are sitting in air conditioned offices while your children
and they're underpaid counselor will be needlessly sweating under their
mask in ninety degree weather. And Carol Markovitz says, don't
listen to them now if you really want to follow
the science, I would agree with Carol. I don't know
(15:54):
if you heard earlier today, and it was such a
great comment on Fox this morning from Pete Hegseth. Of
course they want to continue to wear the mask. It's
the ultimate virtue signal. It's almost like the new Maga
hat at the left, like I will mask you won't, right,
(16:15):
I care so much more than you do. That is
the most Dana Perino has ever laughed in one segment.
So that's one of the reasons I suggested we no.
Pete's comment was great, but she's got a nice laugh,
very very authentic Dana. Think about it though, when you
think of how things on the left start with a
(16:40):
bogus scientific argument backed up by fakery. You know, we'll
bring in experts like Stephen Colbert, Joy Behar, Brian Williams.
You know, they all know about mask and virology, and
then it just it morphs into And you've heard this,
Joe id and said it over the weekend, wearing a
(17:02):
mask when you're told as the patriotic thing to do, No,
I'm gonna disagree respectfully. Can I call you Joe Joe respectfully? No,
that's the compliant communist thing to do. We're a free country.
We're free men and women. We have a constitution that
proves it. Now. Guess who was on the cutting edge
(17:25):
of societal evolution back in nineteen ninety three, and Rush
was calling out how the ribbons and the role they
play fit into the left. Here's Rush, because I'm wearing
these ribbons. I care more than any of you about anything,
(17:46):
and these ribbons say so. I want you people sitting
at home, and you people in the audience, look down
at your lapel right now. When you look down, what
do you see? You don't see anything because you're not
wearing any ribbons. It mean you're a bigot. It means
you're a racist, it means you're a sexist. It means
you're a homophobe. It probably means you're a white guy.
(18:07):
It probably means you're a European and you are, you alone,
are responsible for all these America. But I'm not because
I'm wearing these ribbons that care more than you. Yes, yes,
that was from one of the funnier episodes of Russia's
TV show. And does he or does he not nail
(18:28):
it every step of the way there, think about the absurdity.
That's what award shows are award shows. And did you
see how the latest Academy Awards like one of the
lowest I think the lowest rated in history or whatever.
There was one one speech I personally enjoyed because I'm
a big Tyler Perry fan. I think he's a wonderful individual,
(18:50):
and I think he does great work. And you may
have noticed at how ironic that this woke idea was
churning around on the Rush Show years ago, But even
Tyler Perry called it out and he said, and I
was so impressed by this, I played it on my
show in Pennsylvania. He made a very quick speech about
how he was raised, and he said, people start talk
(19:13):
about stopping the hate. We need to stop hating white people,
black people, police officers. And he just went through a
whole bunch of people that we should not hate and
it may total sense. And within seconds on Twitter, the
left started attacking him because he dared to say, we
(19:36):
shouldn't hate white people, we shouldn't hate Mexicans, we shouldn't
hate black people, we shouldn't hate anybody. There's too much hate.
Why are we hating the police? And that's what probably
triggered a lot of the left, and the irony about
that is crime is through the roof right now, we'll
be right back. Well, Happy Monday, first Monday of May
(20:00):
on the EIB network and the numbers eight hundred two
eight two, twenty eight eighty two, The Rush Limbaugh Show,
New York Times, Washington Post, NBC among those retracting more
incorrect reporting in the last twenty four hours. Here's what
(20:21):
they were tracted recently. And this is what is so
terrifying about a news media that's compromised, lazy, ignorant, or biased.
Did I cover it all? Yeah, except for the seven
or eight people, and you know who they are. There's
about seven or eight people we can trust, and the
rest of it's just it's a crapshoot. So here you
have the New York Times, Washington Post, NBC, and they
(20:45):
made again false allegations about Giuliani. But you may recall
the same news media, various factions of it, made false
accusations about Carter Page, President Trump and a variety of governors.
And they do it on a regular basis against citizens
(21:05):
because most of us don't have the funding to take
on these giants. This is a strategy. So they had
to retract their earlier reporting stating that former New York
mayor Governor Rudy Giuliani was directly warned by the FBI
that he was targeted by a Russian intel influenced operation.
(21:27):
Lie Lie La Lie, Lie Lie. But they put the
lies out at the front end of a news cycle,
knowing that unless you're hosting a talk show, or you're
a guide for Russi Limbaugh, or you're one of the
millions that voted for Trump and actually care about the
(21:49):
integrity of the news and elections, you're just going to
take it at face value. Translation CNN, The New York Times.
They know they can say or do anything, they can
post anything. It can be completely wrong, it could fall
in the definition of slander, libel, defamation, whatever, and there's
(22:17):
no consequence. It's just a little oops. It's crazy. And now,
as we said at the top of the show, they're
doing more to go after President Trump. But when you
think of what you and I are, you and I
are held to account. Look at the way you are
(22:39):
panalized on social media or even in the newspaper. When
was the last time, especially if you have a liberal
rag where you live. And I'm not going to call
out cities because I know, oh bunjo, I try to
keep the enemy making to a minimum now now that
I'm a little older. But if you have a rag paper,
(23:01):
like we have several liberal rags in Central Pa, it's
so hard to get a factual, opposing opinion. And you
see it. You see it across the board from New
York to Los Angeles. The thing that we should be
worried about this is not a matter of, oh, the
(23:23):
mainstream media is picking on our guys again. This is
a matter of here we go again. Look at the
shiny object over here, because I believe one of the
reasons the Washington Post and NBC in the New York
Times is cranking up some more fakery and tying it
to Russia, Russia, Russia is because the truth about China, China,
(23:46):
China is coming out, along with counting votes, which a
lot of people never thought would happen. That's why the
level of anger against people doing that is ridiculous. But
we ought to worry when a major news organization incorrectly
(24:07):
states that other news organizations have the same info, and
they tried to do that. The Washington Post tried to
blame One America News and this is this game, and
we've allowed it to go on. We've allowed we've allowed
the leftist which is probably the majority of most news
(24:30):
media operations. I think we can say that with a
straight phase. We've allowed them to create fantasy and then
to say, oh, by the way, so and so said it,
and that's like a wink and a nod to people
that are questioning and well this sounds a little odd,
but well, if One America said it, or you know,
if Newsmax had it, maybe so this is and no
(24:52):
one has held accountable, nobody, They just retracted the CNN
has made so many tractions in the last five years.
I can't believe they still have a signal. I can't
believe they're still on cable. How do you do that?
And then the old anonymous sources the easiest way to
(25:16):
lie pathologically on a regular basis to people who are
brainwashed by your media outlet. Here's rush were relying on
the New York Times for accuracy when they have no
claim to that anymore. Two years minimum, lying day after
(25:36):
day after day about Trump Russia collusion. And by the way,
those lies have continued on every other adjunct. We've had
The New York Times going all in on every Democrat allegation.
If Bolton was such gold, why didn't shift calling, Why
didn't they do their due diligence. Why didn't they take
(25:57):
their time and call Bolton? We know why, because there
would be an executive privileged fight and that would delay
it in the courts, and they had to get this
done for the purposes of the twenty twenty campaign. It
looks to me like we almost have a replay, an
exact rehash of the Kavanaugh situation when he was on
(26:18):
the verge of being confirmed. Here we are at this
trial after the first day of the President's team just
destroying the Democrat House manager's whole case. They did it
in two hours on Saturday, and then the next day
we've got this when all the Democrats have been caterwauling
(26:38):
about it. We need witnesses, the Senate needs to open
it up to witnesses and so forth. And now all
of a sudden, at the very last moment, we're getting
a recycling of a previous Democrat quasi October Surprise, Stop, oppers,
do you meet? Journalism has been corrupted? Red who knew?
But it is. It's the same revenge playbook, the same
thing called me did. It's the same thing they tried
to Clarence Thomas. It's a thing they did with Kavanaugh.
(27:02):
And remember, it's all about what Trump said he wanted
to do. Because they can't say that Trump withheld the aid.
They can't say that Ukraine didn't get what they would say.
It's absurd, all of it is. By the way, I
want to make one point here. The New York Times
(27:23):
is admitting The New York Times is admitting they have
not seen the Bolton transcript, and yet they run a
story based on what it says they've not seen the
Bolton book, They've just been told about it by anonymous sources.
(27:44):
What if it's an abject lie. What if whoever is
doing this is knowingly lying, knowing they're going to get
two or three days out of it and maybe even
to vote on witnesses, and that at some point when
the book comes out in March, it's going to be
learned or discovered that it's not true. Big deal. That's
also the history Trump koaludo with Russia, He's a trader,
(28:07):
restole the election two years later, no evidence, can't find it.
Now we move on to something else, that Trump's put
a phone call with the Ukraine president. It's the same pattern.
It's like every leak for two years Trump Russia collusion,
and every story had a line buried in the story.
(28:29):
As of now, there is no evidence substantiating this claim.
But blah blah blah. So the New York Times admits
they have not seen the actual Bolton manuscript. They've just
been told about it by anonymous sources. We know that
Vindmann's brothers in the vetting process. He's on the staff
(28:49):
of the NFC that vets books like this. See this
way if their story turns out to be completely false,
if it's a total lie, they can say, what us,
That's what we were told, and that's how they've been
getting out of every lie for the past three years. Well,
our sources told us the original Washington Post leak on
(29:11):
the whistleblowers complaint turned out to be a pack of lies.
And among those pack of lies was that the transcript
the phone call was shocking, it was frightening, it was scary.
The whistleblower said it was unreal. Oh my god, we
had to do something. It was so bad. And then
there's nothing in it. Trump releases the transcript. None of
(29:32):
that was the case, and the Washington posted, don't blame us,
that's what we were told. Their lies got enough attention
to kick off this entire impeachment process. The whistle blowers
lies are why we are here, and the Washington Post
(29:53):
published this pack of lies and then got out of
it by said, well, it's what we were told. We
didn't Actually, you're listening to the e IB Network. Thank
you for joining us today. I hope you're enjoying your Monday.
We're glad you're here. I am your guide today. Ken
Matthews and the numbers eight hundred two eight two twenty
(30:15):
eight eighty two. Let's grab a quick call here from
Willow Springs, North Carolina. Bill, you're on the Rush Limball Show. Yeah.
I just wanted to agree with what you and Rush
said about the uniform because in the nineteen eighties I
was in Miami Vice. I used to be in that
sum and I played the part of a doctor. I
(30:37):
mean everything, even a name tag. It wasn't my name tag.
I look like a doctor. I look like a doctor.
And when we weren't in the operating room shooting the
scene with Don Johnson and all that we're in there,
I was in the hallway and stuff, and I felt like,
I mean, they people thought I was a doctor because
I had everything, and I felt like saying, we'll take
(31:01):
to buffer and call me in the morning. It was
just because it was just yeah, it was it was
because they thought I was a doctor, and I'm just agreeing.
And one well, sorry, Well, I worked at the phone
company and we had the phone company truck and a
friend of mine I worked with he was tied up
(31:24):
and put in the back of his van, and because
it was a phone truck, he could go you could
drive different places where other people you had to have
ID and stuff. But they ended up me and the
people that tied him up and put him back in
the van they kidnapped somebody and it was just it
was you know, they didn't get hurt, but it was
(31:47):
quite a day for him tied up in the back
of and then they bring in another person. But anyway,
I want to really appreciate your show. You're all doing
a great job. Of course, the thirty years of listening
to Rush that I have, it's even more. But I
appreciate y'all for being there and given the facts. Well,
God bless you, Bill, thanks for the call. And those
(32:08):
were two great stories about how the Democrat Party now operates.
That's all you need. Think about it. It's all you need.
And now, because even news anchors wear masks, which is
the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life, you
can get away with saying or doing anything. That's what's
(32:32):
so scary, but that is true. Look at people make
the presumption and some of the people you may remember,
and we were talking about Obamacare. Obamacare was one of
the greatest examples that you would have people that were
not doctors, but they look like doctors, and they were
(32:52):
sort of involved in the medical profession. So why don't
you wear a lab code and get in the photograph
with the press an end and people will just present
and there and that's where we are. That's where we are.
We've made the presumption that Bill Nye, the science lie,
I mean, the science guy, is a scientist. We do
(33:14):
and we hear people speak on a variety of topics.
But Bill Gates is a great example a computer programmer
that was sued and still is being sued for something,
and people go out, oh, he must be he's an expert.
He's an expert. And when Tony Fauci when he said, well,
(33:41):
if you wear three or if you wear two or
three masks, that would even be more, I thought he
was joking. You cannot tell anymore what's coming out of
the Biden regime and what's coming out of the CDC
and the World Health Organization? It is it the Babylon
b is that the onion? Is it a Saturday Night
Live sketch? What the heck's going on with these people?
(34:06):
But I think there's going to be a lot of
a lot of parents are going to start looking back
on twenty twenty and the damage that was done to
their children by the bad decisions made by people who
should not have been making those decisions, especially when it
comes to the mask and lockdowns. Oh, by the way,
before I forget, make a note to yourself. The new
(34:29):
podcast series is kicking off next week. It's called Rush
Limbaugh The Man behind the Golden EIB Microphone, and it's
a series of great personal, up close stories about Rush,
hosted by our friend James Golden, who has the deepest
(34:49):
voice on Earth. Yes, it's sponsored by Tunnel to Towers Foundation,
of foundation this audience as well as Rush and Catherine
Limball have supported, as well as the company My Pillow. Now.
The first podcast is a week from this coming Wednesday.
(35:10):
So next week the series will start up and you
could check it out listen to it. The Man behind
the Golden EIB Mike and James Knows aka Boston Early.
James knew Rush so well three decades evolving with the
(35:32):
EIB network and the show. I can't wait to hear it,
and I always I always bust on James because you
know that commercial I can't he's I'm gonna get a
text now from James because he's gonna say, why did
you Why were you talking about that? Because I always
bust him about it. You know that commercial that said
(35:53):
I'm not going to mention the brand. But you know
that's the commercial where the guy's really deep voice and
he goes, we have the meat. Well, James can nail that. Yeah,
So the next time you see bo ask them to
do that, we have the meat commercial. I'm Ken Matthews
and we'll be right back. It's the Rush Limbaugh Show
(36:16):
on the EIB Network. I'm your guide today. My name
is Ken Matthews. Glad you're joining us. China is shutting
down the Bible app and this is from the Christian Post.
They have a Bible app called Christian we Chat and
this is so people around the world, for obvious reasons,
(36:38):
can chat about Biblical principles and get quotes and things
of that nature from the Bible. And they're continuing their
crackdown on Christianity among just about everything else China, even
though there's still a favor of the NBA. The reason
I bring this up is next hour, I am going
to point out something that the Biden regime is attempting
(37:02):
to do. Yes, it has to do with more of
your free speech. And it's not just taking you off
social media, and it's not just labeling you as an
extremist because in their opinion, they don't agree with what
you have to say, so they just make the assumption
it's extreme. But China has removed the Bible apps, they've
(37:26):
removed public accounts, and then they put highly restrictive measures
on any counter platform. We are already there, We'll be
right back. Always great to spend time with the most
remarkable audience in the history of radio, because Rush was
(37:48):
the most remarkable host, and I was thinking about the
power of this audience, the content not only have the calls,
but your social media content, and the fact that the
educational and entertainment content of this audience so dwarfs what
(38:10):
news and media networks bring to the table. And I've
said this before in a different shape or form, but
you usually get, if not all the time, better analysis
than from a Rush Limball listener than you would from
a Sunday talk show with seven people on the panel,
all nodding in the same yet oh yeah, well yeah,
(38:32):
I couldn't agree more. Yes, m Trump is bad, Yes
he is. I bet she's a racist too. Eight hundred
two two twenty eight eighty two is the number. The
reason this is so important, especially now, the size and
the impact of this audience and the credibility of it
(38:53):
and the loyalty of it, and the impact that rushmade
is because we are up against something that I don't
know if it's been seen in this country before. We
have a regime that is running the House, the Senate,
the Oval Office, Hollywood, academia, and more and most media.
(39:22):
So when you look at the influence of wokeness, and
we know woke as a joke, but it still gets
a lot of traction. That to me is one of
the most shocking things. When you hear or see a
CEO some man or woman making millions and millions and
millions and millions of dollars a year running a company
(39:44):
that's making millions, if not billions, and they spew some
of this woke garbage or the BLM narrative garbage, or
you know, the garbage. This audience knows the garbage. One
of the reasons Donald Trump was elected to is because
the majority of Americans can see through it now and
(40:05):
by the time the fifth or sixth person repeats the
same talking point, and that's something Russia introduced us two
years ago with his montages. It all started with the
Gravitas montage. But all you have to do is take
a few moments and punch around your news dial or
wherever you get your news from, and you'll hear most
(40:26):
people saying the same thing, literally, the same thing, the
same adjectives, the same adverbs, the same labels. And then
when that one person, that one person, maybe it's a
Tucker Carlson, when that one person says, you know, this
(40:50):
isn't making any sense. What happens All the people that
claim to be objective and do research and are incredible
attack the person for disagreeing. They don't bring evidence, they
just make the attack. That's why we're in such a
dangerous time right now. One of the best examples is
(41:14):
this debacle of a border policy. First of all, we
have a man who, like many in politics, has contradicted
himself numerous times. We have a guy in Joe Biden
who sadly he may not even know where he is
at the moment, but let's pretend he does. His border
(41:35):
policy is a dream come true for human trafficking the
overt and I hate using the term dog whistle because
I'm not a dog and I couldn't hear it. But
that's a big word that everybody likes. You. I know
what you're meant by that. That's what dog whistling is.
(41:55):
It's saying that people can read your mind. They can't
read your mind, and don't be frightened by that absurdity.
It's kind of like that dog whistling on black lives matter.
When someone says all lives matter, I know what that is.
What is it? It's all lives matter. Just don't even
get don't even get into the weeds with that. But
the bottom line is President Obama, Joe Biden and others
(42:21):
in high profile positions over the years have pretty much
invited everyone here in some way, shape or form, and
they've made comments like, well, look, if if there's thirteen
kids at the border, we're not going to turn them away.
So basically, you just told every mom or dad or
(42:43):
coyote or child trafficker or drug cartel or criminal enterprise
on the planet. Did he just say, if there's thirteen
people at the border, they're not going to turn them away.
Do you know what that means for our bottom line?
We can sell thirteen more kids. We can use them
as mule Oh, my gosh, we can smuggle guns in
(43:04):
their backpacks and they're not testing them for COVID. Oh,
we can use them as spies. This is all true,
and most liberals know it. And what I just said
was not extreme at all. Because this is what's happening.
Let me just give you a few headlines. In addition
(43:24):
to the three people that were killed two dozen injured yesterday,
this is an overloaded boat crashed into a reef, broke
apart in rough water off the coast of San Diego.
Authority said it was a human smuggling attempt. The boat
captain survived. Now is he going to be charged with
a crime. I don't know. Is he allowed to vote
in California? It really depends on your voting, your voting rights.
(43:48):
I mean, the Democrats right now are desperate for voters.
They may hold off on that. I don't know. This news,
by the way, is from San Diego, the same city
that witnessed the suv with twenty five people killed or
injured after the driver pulled into the path of a
big rig and we found out that they were illegals
there they were all illegals being smuggled. They were twenty
(44:08):
five people in an suv. I mean, I know SUVs
are big, but that's a lot of people in one suv.
But doesn't died immediately. We had at least three dead.
We had let's see, we had the illegal alien allegedly
murdering the woman in front of her kids. That was
over the weekend in Westchester, PA. Right down the road
(44:30):
from me. Border agents find drugs guns following a checkpoint
K nine alert. And it goes on and on and on.
How long did Joe Biden and Kamala Harris lie lie
about the border crisis? And you know, years ago Rush
(44:53):
spoke about a very familiar case. You'll know it when
you hear it. And the way the Democrats behave it
does look like the left is protecting criminal illegal immigrants.
Here's Rush. What happ out in San Francisco with the
Katie Steinley jury. Man, oh Man, you talk about you
(45:14):
think the OJ verdict was something. This verdict out there
makes the OJ verdict look like romper room. You talk
about jury nullifica. You talk about a bunch of citizens
banding together to say, screw you, United States. We prefer
being a sanctuary city. Even if our citizens do get murdered,
(45:36):
maintaining our political independence on this is much more important
than the safety of a single citizen in San Francisco.
Just amazing. When I heard about this, I heard it
out of the corner of my ear, and it didn't
register at first because it was so unexpected. And when
(45:57):
it finally registered on I can't begin to tell you
the depths of my anger and frustration. And then I stopped.
I caught myself, and I said, you shouldn't be mad.
This was imminently predictable. Who are we talking about here.
(46:19):
We're talking about the American left and the time for
granting them any semblance of commonality with us when it
comes to values and politics, morality, decency, right and wrong.
Those days are over. They don't have much in common
with us anymore. And each and every day this is
(46:41):
born out. So in San Francisco we have a war
on women, A different kind of war on women, A
felonious illegal immigrants war on a woman. An innocent woman
is shot and killed, her killer and illegal alien who
(47:03):
shot the gun has multiple felonies, is found not guilty
by reason of a jury's political insanity, and the left
is good with it. The insanity in that courtroom was
not the purp. The insanity is the jury. This is
kind of like the Menendez jury. Remember the Menendez brothers
(47:27):
who shot and killed their parents. And one of the
women on that journey acquitted one of the Menendez brothers
or did not give it definitely something And one of
the female jurors said on television after the trial, we
feel so bad because the boys, we're not going to
(47:48):
have their parents. And even then the drive by media
reporter was incredulous. Well yeah, but that's because they killed them.
They know. But it's so horrible, isn't it so sad?
These two young men are gonna have a tough enough
life as it is, and then to be deprived of
their parents, but they kill them. I know, it's so big.
I'm not making this up. There was such a jury.
(48:10):
So we have illegal immigrants plus sanctuary city equals justice
in American liberal and claims. What is it with the
callousness regarding the abuse of and the harm to women
and the left. It seems like no matter where you
go in America to day, if there are liberals involved,
(48:32):
women are being harmed to one degree or another, and
there's no other way to look at this. Sanctuary cities
like San Francisco deciding to circle the wagons and protect
people who are not here legally when they commit crimes.
But again, see is this really that's surprising. The left,
(48:55):
for most of my life, has been consistent in protecting
criminals and reprobates, believing that the justice system is what
is unfair, believing that the court system is where the
real problem is, and that the guilty in this country
(49:15):
are simply the product of poors socioeconomic circumstances brought about
by an evil majority. Now, this verdict in San Francisco's
a symptom of liberalism, and as we see, citizens are
not really safe in these liberal strongholds. Guns are discouraged
with onerous regulations making self defense extremely difficult. The police
(49:40):
are ridiculed and ordered to give space to destroy, which
is what happened in Baltimore. Felonious illegal immigrants are given sanctuary,
which is a violation of federal law. They are treated
as supercitizens, above and beyond the re to the law.
(50:00):
There's absolutely no expectation of assimilation among illegal immigrants, just
an expectation that they will participate in keeping Democrats in
elective power. This is the EiV Network. My name is
Ken Matthews. I'm your guide today. Thanks for joining us.
The wit and wisdom always on point from mister Limbaugh,
(50:26):
who just a moment ago was just talking about how
the Democrats seem to embrace some of the weirdest positions
they're they're that first person to say, well, well, you know,
you can't. You can't hold that guy responsible just because
he was here illegally and he had a knife and
(50:47):
a gun and he killed somebody. I mean, it's it's
a level absurdity of absurdity. You can't see. It's right
up there with um. You know, if you want to
fly on such and such a jet, you have to
have a vaccine, you have to wear five masks, whatever.
But if you snuck in over the border last night
(51:09):
and you made it to El Paso, congratulations. Here's a
gift pack. You'll get a Joe Biden T shirt. You'll
get that lovely book from Kamala Harris because she's like
totally awesome. So check out that book. No, no, you
don't need to check for COVID. Just move on here,
take your bus ticket. So you've got. Truly, I'm making
(51:31):
light of it, but you have to make light of
it or your head would explode. Because again, when you realize,
and we said this at the top of the hour,
when you realize the Democrats are run in the house,
running the Senate, you got Joey Dementia. That's his organized
crime name, Joey Dementia. He's in the oval. And then
(51:54):
they run Hollywood, academia, news media, and social media. You
have to you have to joke around sometimes. Thank God,
we the people are we the people, and we outnumber
all these knuckleheads by tens of millions. Just look at
the seventy five million plus that voted for Donald Trump.
(52:20):
But it's so it can be so overwhelming when you
look at the influence that the left has taken over.
And the interesting thing they have not done it by
their policies. That's the thing that it can be very
(52:42):
frustrating to so many of us. They haven't done it
by their policies. They've done it just because they're running
the show. It doesn't matter if their policies work. They're
running the show. And when Rush was talking about the
illegality and how it's always mcrats to the rescue and
they'll they defend any illegal pretty much as long as
(53:06):
they can vote. And earlier I was talking about what
China is doing getting rid of certain apps and what
have you. And I don't know if you saw last week.
Maybe one of the other guides mentioned it. Probably did,
but just in case, the Border Patrol has been issued
(53:27):
an edict from the Biden administration that they can no
longer use the following terms. And there's a whole list,
but the two that I want to share with you
are the ones that really should worry us. Number One,
they don't want the term assimilation used and they don't
want the term illegal immigrant used. What more do you
(53:50):
need to know about the Democrat Party. You can sneak
into our country and you don't have to assimilate. All
you got to do is vote for Democrats when you're told.
But seriously, what is wrong with the direction of the Democrats.
Don't call any illegal and illegal and don't expect someone
(54:15):
to come to our country and assimilate. You as an
American need to start marching to the beat of their drums.
And this is why the Democrat Party is shrinking, and
this is why unions are shrinking, and this is why
people are terrified of the recounts and the audits. Because
(54:39):
the only way broken policies, flawed ideologies like the Democrats
can stay in power is by force. That's it. They've
got to shut down the economy. They've got to control
your movement. Speaking of which, let's check in with a
communist stronghold, Brooklyn, New York. This is Chris Hi. Chris,
(55:02):
you're on the Wrestling Ball Show. Are you doing well?
How are you doing? Uh? First, I just want to
Uh First, I want to say it's an honor to
speak to you, and thank you so much for carrying
on Russia's legacy. Thank you for saying that. Um, I'm
from New York, right, so I'm under the tyrant see
(55:24):
of Andrew Cuomo, and I'm along the I'm amongst the
brainwashed idiot to uh walk around in public with two
three masks on when there's no one else around where,
people going to sleep with a mask on, take a
shower with a mask on, and eat with a mask on.
And uh, I just I gotta say, man, I don't know, like,
(55:47):
when is it gonna end? I'm sure you saw that. Uh,
I'm sure that you saw that. Um the other day
when Joe Biden is a hundred days in office, where
he was on TV addressing everything. However, one in Congress
was vaccinated and everyone was still wearing a mask. What
is that telling people it's not to take the masks off.
(56:10):
It's never gonna end. I feel like I I think
you've nailed it. I mean what you just said, Chris,
it is safe to take the mask off. That's what
science has said for a year. But what you picked
up on the mask is a way to control people.
(56:33):
It's that simple. And as Rush said earlier in the show,
from one of his sound bites many many, many, many
many years ago, it's also virtue signaling. So they can
kill two birds with one stone. You can say, look
at me, I'm wearing a mask. I care about my
fellow man, even though it's hard to breathe and I'm
getting an infection on my lip and it doesn't work.
(56:56):
And you can scare all that you dren because that's
what the Democrats do. So many of their policies terrify
the children. Have you ever noticed that? Why is it
the Democrat policies frighten or injure the elderly, especially when
it comes to healthcare. Ask Governor Cuomo about that. He
(57:19):
wrote a wonderful book about how awesome he managed COVID
in New York. Perhaps you've seen it, it was on
the view, But seriously, why is why do so many
leftist policies pert children? Well, hello, thanks again for joining
us today. I hope you're having a good Monday. Don't
forget Mother's Day less than a week away. I'm just
(57:44):
throwing it out there. You cannot say you were not warned.
Eight hundred two eight two twenty eight eighty two is
the number if you'd like to join the conversation. A
mere Benno. A mere Benno writes for Western Journal. And
there's new studies out and new statistics, and what you'll
(58:06):
see over the years, almost every single leftist talking point
is either proven wrong by history as things change or morph,
or the evidence proves it wrong. So whether you're talking
about the effectiveness of a mask or a lockdown, or
(58:30):
which party is the party of the rich or which
person is the party of law and order, or whatever
it is, when you turn off the news media and
you do the research, because the news media doesn't we
know that just look at today's latest retractions. Some of
the biggest news outlets in America are doing what they
(58:53):
do on a regular basis, retract narratives that they launched
last week, knowing that smaller biased news organizations will run
with it. So the New York Times will say, this
is just an example, New York Times, so you don't
have to get your four hundred lawyers all in a tither.
(59:16):
The New York Times might say, research shows two plus
two is nine. Now, everybody that likes the New York Times,
every news editor, everybody in a small newspaper or maybe
a news facility around the country. Sometimes even the world
is going to go, you know, according to the New
York Times. And pretty soon the lie just gets so big.
(59:39):
It's it's like right up there with President Trump and
the Russians beat Hillary. That one still has a lot
of wind in the sales. And there's an old saw
that blue collar working class workers or voters are the
bedrock of the Democrat Party. Now things are different, and
(01:00:04):
I R S data has just come out. Bloomberg has
also done a study and this is from twenty twenty,
so this is from the year of what I call
the American Awakening. The year America said, Wow, we can
no longer trust our government. We can't trust the FBI.
All they do is run interference for Democrats in particular.
(01:00:27):
We can't trust that, the news media, we can't trust academia,
Holy moley and now, and of course you can't trust
Anthony Fauci based on his contradictions. IRS data now shows it.
Last year, Democrats represent sixty five percent of taxpayers with
a household income of half a million dollars and more. Okay,
(01:00:53):
I think that's great. America's great. The opportunities are wonderful.
Sixty five percent of taxpayers with a household income of
half a million dollars or more Democrats. Meanwhile, the same
data establishes at seventy four percent of taxpayers in Republican
districts have household incomes of less than one hundred thousand,
(01:01:15):
household combined incomes less than one hundred thousand, and last year,
Republican districts had less income than their Democrat counterparts. Well,
what happened to well, those snooty rich Republicans. I don't
(01:01:36):
think there's ever been I don't think that's ever fell
into the category that they needed it too. You'll look
at people like John Kerry, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden.
Look at Hunter. Wow, he's really made something of himself.
Has any I mean, really, when you think about it,
the guys loaded all Democrats. So if you want to
(01:02:00):
say that, oh yeah, they can relate. They can relate
to my dad and I working in the factory or
on the job side of the construction site, or swinging
off the back of a garbage truck, which is like
the greatest ride ever. It's right up there with riding
on back of a of a fire truck. And I've
done both very exciting. The neat thing about the garbage
(01:02:25):
truck is, for some reason, the rules aren't as tough.
Have you noticed that? And any guy will tell you,
in particular, I know there's women that are in these
both these worlds of work, but any guy, I'll tell
you that's the coolest thing in the world, hanging off
a truck by the seat of your pants, riding on something,
(01:02:45):
riding in the back of a pickup, riding on the train,
things of that nature. And I just don't see any
of those Democrats I just listed doing any of that.
Do you? And as usual, rush knew this here. He
is John Nulty. When I say the Republican Party, I'm
(01:03:07):
not talking about Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. I'm talking
about us, We the people, those who call themselves Republicans,
but only because that was the party Trump chose to
run with. So ask yourself, are you a Republican because
of Ted Kluse, of Rubio, of McConnell, Paul Ryan, or
(01:03:33):
are you a Republican because of Trump? Because there are
different kinds of Republicans in just five years. This is
profound here, folks, I've made this point myself countless times.
In just five years. Starting in twenty fifteen, the Republican
Party had become the party of the working class, the
(01:03:55):
party that backed private union members, the party fighting for
civil liberty. He's fighting against the suicide of free trade.
We are the party standing side by side with legendary
labor leaders Caesar Chavez to stop illegal immigration. We're the
ones opposing endless wars, the corporatizing of America, big mergers,
(01:04:16):
big consolidation. We used to be the party of Wall Street,
the party of big banks, the party of Chamber of Commerce,
the party we're not Trump turned the Republican Party into
the Party of the people, and now the Democrats are
the party of the rich. The Democrats are the party
of the idol wealthy end of Wall Street. When you
(01:04:38):
look at the latest story about John Kerry, all the
money he's made off big oil. So I don't know
what the combined income is. I'm sure it's kind of billionairess. Billionaire.
John Kerry does remind me of a billionairess, but I
know that's his wife. But I'm just saying, so that's
the other dirty little secret. So the news media, some
(01:05:02):
of the most strident leftist and pro communist and all
those people that were all giddy over Cuba. Oh my god,
Cuba so awesome. If we could just be like the
UK on Cuba, we'd be so awesome. Really well, they're
both going down the toilet. But those people are among
(01:05:24):
the wealthiest. It's crazy. Some of the most leftist news
anchors are making eight, ten, twelve million dollars a year
and they're covering for people that are worth half a billion.
And a great example of this and I don't have
(01:05:45):
it in front of me because he probably made some
more money yesterday. Joe Biden. I don't know what his
net worth is. I know that if you took out
a calculator and if you figured out what he's made
in fifty years of working for the government, because taxpayers
have paid allery for his entire career, pretty much for
the last forty eight, it doesn't add up. And we
(01:06:07):
know that he could be using common core math, So
that's part of the problem. You may say, well, he's
only made this much, but common core math says he's
worth fifty billion. I don't know, But if you look
at what those people are worth, you have to ask
yourself objectively. And I only ask my liberal friends to
(01:06:27):
do this because my liberal friends are always the people
that say, how about Donald Trump and his taxes? How
about those taxes? What about him? Did he break the law?
Did he in bezel money? What did we miss other
than the fact that you resent someone who's orange and
very wealthy. So I always throwing the orange just to
(01:06:47):
make them giggle, because that's their mindset. But you could say,
to a liberal, well, Joe Biden was worth this much here,
and then after him and his son did these eels
with China, why did his net worth go up? What
was that all about? Well, that you're not allowed to
talk about so the Democrats they didn't lose control of
(01:07:12):
the narrative. I don't know if they ever had the
rightful title to it. I think that was It's just
like unions. Remember the title that unions used to have.
Unions are looking out for the working guy. They're hard
work and they're gonna roll up. There's no no. The
men and women in unions are hard working people and
(01:07:34):
many of them built this country. But just like our government,
the people in charge often are full of crap. And
that's what we have with well. Teachers Union is a
great example. Holy Moley. There's a lot of conservatives in
the teachers Union and they're stuck, and they're stuck. But
(01:07:54):
it all gets down to we're looking out for you,
We're for the working man, we're for the working woman.
And these people are making millions and millions of dollars
and they're wearing three thousand dollars suits. What are leftist missing?
Eight hundred two two twenty eight eighty two. I'm Ken Matthews,
your guide for today on the EIB Network. We'll be
(01:08:15):
right back EIB Network, The Rush Limbaugh Show. I'm your guide,
Ken Matthews, is your cell phone within reach, keep it handy.
In just a minute, I think you're gonna want to
use it. There's one cell phone service provider that Rush
spoke about. It was not Verizon or AT and T
(01:08:37):
or Sprint. It was Pure Talk because they play fairly
with their phone bills and provide excellent coverage and service.
It's a company Rush discovered last year with a monthly
fee of only thirty bucks a month for unlimited talk,
text and a lot of data six gigs every month.
(01:08:58):
And if you go over that amount, don't worry about it.
Rush spells it out right here. Hey, folks, you know
you can spend all kinds of time deliberating what kind
of cell phone you want to own, what kind of
cell phone you want to use, but you might spend
ten percent of that time deciding on your cell phone carrier,
if that much. Now, maybe you spend more than ten percent.
But really, there are options out there you may not
(01:09:21):
know about. Cell Phone service has become expensive, you know.
I remember back in the days of flip phones. This
is before two thousand and seven, before the iPhone was invented.
The theory was that your service was going to be
given to you as long as you paid for the phone.
That's the way the experts thought. The trend line was
that the service is going to be pretty much free,
(01:09:44):
but you gotta pay for the phone. Now that's turned
upside down. Now the phone costs a pretty penny, as
does service. Cell Phone service has become expensive. The big
brand name carriers charge a lot because well they can.
So there's another company out there that we want to
(01:10:06):
suggest you look into, called pure Talk, because their focus
is on providing you the best cell phone coverage and
service for about half the price of the big brand
names in cellular service. Pure Talk gives you excellent coverage.
It uses the same cell towers as one of the
biggest brands. You get unlimited talk, unlimited text, six gigs
(01:10:31):
of data for about thirty dollars a month. It's on
the same tower that you're probably using now, same towers,
and if you go over on your data usage, pure
Talk is not going to charge you for it. Switch
to pure Talk, keep your phone number just as it is.
Pure Talk will help you make that an easy switch
from your cell phone. Just dial pound two fifty and
(01:10:54):
then say pure Talk Pound two fifty and say pure Talk,
and you'll say fifty percent off your first month, that
is pound two fifty and say pure talk you'll have
the option to receive a one time autodialed text message
from pure Talk something to look intoto. So a moment ago,
we were talking about how now the Democrats are no
(01:11:17):
longer the party of the working man and woman, and
that has been the narrative. How did the narrative carry
on this long? Not because it was so much fact,
because it was myth. And that's one thing the Democrats
are good at, is keeping a myth propped up. Because
when you control the publishers that create the textbooks for
(01:11:43):
middle school, high school, and college, and then when you
control the journalism schools that tilt the media where you
need it to go, and when you control Hollywood that
make the movies that people with master's degrees, they'll go
see a movie and regardless whether it's fact or fiction,
(01:12:04):
if they want to believe it's fact, they will, which
is just crazy. You can make a movie, and al
Gore is a great example, the Great exam an Inconvenient truth,
a pile of garbage. They're still using it in high
schools to teach. It's crazy when you think about it,
(01:12:26):
and did you ever notice that some of the wealthiest
people in Congress spend the most of your money. They
spend the most of your tax dollars. So people like
Hillary back in the day, and now she's worth I
don't know if she's worth billions yet, but she's getting close.
But just look at people worth ten, twenty, thirty, forty
(01:12:47):
fifty million dollars, which I would say the Bidens, the Clintons,
the Obama's soon Kamala Harris, they all fall into that category.
And yet they're the ones that want to spend trillions
and trillions of dollars reckless spending. They relabel it, they
call it infrastructure, but it's just stuff for their party.
(01:13:11):
Here's Senator John Barrasso. It's the trillions and trillions of
dollars of reckless spending. When I look at this, this
is a staggering amount of spending, like someone with a
new credit card. And these are for things that we
don't necessarily need, we certainly can't afford, but they're going
to delight the liberal left of the party. It seems
(01:13:31):
to me that this is a cradle to grave role
of government. Ultimately, someone's going to have to pay for this.
It's almost creating an addiction to spending. And these are
people that they probably they're probably charging you for their
lunch on Capitol Hill, even if it's just a hamburger.
(01:13:53):
I'm sure it's a veggie burger. Here's Senator Bill Cassidy
from Louisiana. If you're talking about a scope, which is
roads and bridges and internet and tunnels and airports and waterways,
we can be pretty close. If you're talking about spending
hundreds of billions of dollars to benefit public service unions,
then we're far apart, and I would argue the administration
(01:14:16):
needs the kind of be honest with the American people.
If you really want roads and bridges, come where Republicans
already are. We'll be right back on the EIB network.
When you find yourself missing Rush. Rush is there for
you any time, night or day at Rush twenty four
(01:14:37):
to seven. You can find out what Rush said on
any topic. You can listen to the entire shows, watch
him on the Ditto cam. There's a vast audio and
video archive. It's truly amazing, and it's available exclusively to
Rush twenty four to seven members by using the easy
search function. Right there on the site. You can join
(01:14:58):
at Rush limbaugh dit com, choose a monthly subscription or
lock in a full year, and there's a lot of
other cool things to check out there as well. Rush
twenty four seven, thank you again for joining us our
three on the EIB Network, The Rush Limbaugh Show. It's
(01:15:20):
truly amazing when you see accurate polls or surveys. Now,
we know that that's a that's finicky business, if you
want to call it that. There's no perfect poll, there's
no perfect survey. But we also know that a lot
of polls are rigged by design, or they're frontloaded by design,
(01:15:44):
or they're pushed by design. And if you're in this audience,
you know what all that means. And a great example
of that was saying, I don't know if you saw
Joe Biden. He's the guy that they installed in November.
He gave a speech and it was it was a
journey into absurdity last week. You know when you said
(01:16:04):
you don't need to wear a mask, but everybody in
Congress had a mask on. They were all fitting sitting
six feet apart. And then in the front row, I
don't know if you saw the guy you got to
find the picture. He looks like a high school senior.
You know how they slumped down where their heads almost
like in the back of the chair and their feet
are out and they're like, yeah, whatever, dude, I don't
(01:16:24):
know who that was. I hope it wasn't a friend
of mine, because I thought, gosh, I wonder, I wonder
if it's one of the seven or eight people in Congress.
I actually I actually respect now. It doesn't look like
anybody I know. But so you have this kabuki theater
and then the ridiculous that came, the ridiculousness that came
(01:16:45):
out of Joe Biden's mouth, and the lies, and you
know he's not He's not going to be fact checked
because most of the major news platforms are part of
his promo team. But the funniest thing I heard was
on CBS News the next day they said Biden had
after that speech, had an eighty five percent approval rating,
(01:17:05):
And I thought it was I thought, you know, because
my eyes are going and I thought maybe maybe the
hearing's going as well. But no, I looked it up
said that right there. That should tell you how off
kilter things are with the news media and their love
(01:17:27):
relationship with the Democrats. But the thing that really struck
me about that presentation is and the Democrats do this consistently.
They are consistently out of touch with most Americans. Their
their priorities, their ideologies are so far from the and
(01:17:48):
dare I say, normal hard working American family. And that's
why that approval rating was so absurd. I remember, and
you'll probably remember this as well, Rush was talking to
a caller in New York and he covered so many
great points about the Democrats. Here he is, This is
(01:18:09):
Mark in Hartwick, New York. Well, Hi, Russ, it's certainly
an honor and a pleasure to speak with you. I
want to talk to you about political labeling, conservatism versus
liberals and such like that. But first I have to
tell you thirty years ago, I walked up to my
car to have lunch and I turned on the radio
to listen to the local weather, and I heard your
(01:18:31):
voice and I heard you say, this is the second
day of my second week. So I want to apologize
for missing the first six days of your program, but
I've been a loyal listener every since. Well, I appreciate
that very much. I'm always amazed everybody knows exactly where
they were and what they were doing the first time
they heard from We all appreciate you, Rush. I consider
(01:18:51):
you the Voice of America. And some of us who
are old enough we know what the Voice of America
used to be a service of radio service. But now
you are the Voice of America. We appreciate that. And
I also want to quickly say I've tried to call
you hundreds of times. When the phone actually rang, I
was almost in shock. And I don't know if you've
ever thought about this, but your phone number that you
give out for the show must be the most dialed
(01:19:13):
phone number in the history of the phone. Now onto
conservatism versus liberals. I have thought for the longest time,
but it's not fair or accurate to refer to Democrats
or progressive Democrats or socialist Democrats as liberals. In fact,
there's nothing liberal about their approach to politics. The only
(01:19:34):
true Americans liberals are the conservatives. We're the ones that
are concerned about our own personal liberties and freedoms. And
it's the Democrats are always trying to limit our freedoms,
our liberties, take them away from its any way they
can get what every kind of socialist power. They can
over society and take control. And I think you're the
big voice. You just might be the guy with enough
(01:19:57):
influence to start a new kind of a way, a
new trend, to strip the Democrats of that term liberal.
No longer refer to them as liberals. Call them what
they are. They're progressive socialist government takeovers, and the liberalism
just doesn't apply them in any way, shape or for now.
You're exactly right, and I'm really glad that you made
(01:20:19):
that point, and I want to take the occasion of
your call a to thank you because I appreciate it
very much. All that you said in fact Voice of America,
that's very very nice. I appreciate that. But this whole
business of labeling, let me just spend a couple of
(01:20:39):
short minutes explaining this to you. And some of you
have heard me say this before, so it may be redundant,
but I spend a lot of time reading liberals or socialists.
I read liberal sports writers, I read liberal tech journalists,
I read the drive by media people study it. I
(01:21:01):
know conservatism, it's who I am. I don't need to
read conservatives to reinforce what I already am and know
of myself. I don't need somebody to tell me what's
in my heart. So when I say to you and
discuss with you the idea that I think conservative or
conservatism as a brand has been destroyed and is hurting us,
(01:21:25):
it's not because I just created this thought out of
my head, as because I'm reading. I am reading voluminously
and omnivorously liberals of all demographics. I focus on trying
to find millennials, and I see, I see the absolute
ways their minds have been poisoned about who you and
(01:21:49):
I are. I see that their minds are totally closed.
At the same time, they are arrogant and snarky and superiorist.
They are not open whatsoever to any alternative way of
thinking about anybody who isn't liberal in their minds like
(01:22:14):
they are. Now, I factor all of this when I
think about the occasion it might present itself when I'm
talking to one of them and trying to persuade them.
What am I going to have to do first to
even be heard? Based on that, I've never seen a
more prejudiced bunch of people who think the exact opposite
(01:22:38):
of themselves. They think are they are the most tolerant
and accepting and open minded. They are none of the sort.
They are arrogantly close minded, They are arrogantly snarky, they
are arrogantly superiorist. They are mean, they are angry, they hate,
(01:23:02):
they live each and every day and they write it.
You can read it in how they write about things
and when they react to anything in the news having
to do with anything conservative or a conservative. That's all
they need to hear to tell themselves who they're dealing with.
And it's not true. This is the thing. What they
(01:23:26):
think of conservatism isn't true, It isn't accurate, and it
isn't anywhere close. There is no hope of getting through
to any of these people as a conservative. You're not
going to even establish a line of communications with anybody
if they think you're a conservative. And it's because of
(01:23:48):
the way they have been poisoned and propagandized their entire lives.
And this has been happening for fifty years, and it's everywhere.
It's everywhere in pop culture. It's every movie, book, television show, song, podcasts,
you name. Podcasts exist because they can't succeed on talk radio.
The stuff that's being said in podcasts about conservatives I'm
(01:24:10):
here to tell you that you don't see ten percent
of what I see because you don't have the time.
It's my job to do this. You've got many other
requirements in your day. You don't have the kind of
time to spend that I spend trying to figure all
of this out. And I'll say, if I want to,
I get livid, I get mad, ticked off, offended, And
(01:24:33):
all what these SMARMI conceded, unappreciative, spoiled, rotten little brats
in their thirties think of us, and the fact that
they are superiorist and better than anybody. It is a
It's a problem, folks, It's a genuine problem. And all
I'm speaking of here when I talk about this is
(01:24:55):
potential solutions to it, because I think they're necessary, mandatory.
If you to an ideological conservative, you know what they'll
tell you. Conservatism is classic liberalism. They'll say to you,
I am a classical liberal. I look at and say, what,
who the hell knows what you're talking about? A classical liberal. If,
(01:25:15):
in the great reputation of Edmund Burke, I am a
classical nobody knows what you're talking about? Well, we are
not conservative. And the real is that we are classical
liberals and they aren't the liberals we are. On Gee,
spare me, That's what I'm up against here. Forty four
percent of young people sixteen to thirty nine, forty four
percent say they preferred socialism to capitalism. However, only thirty
(01:25:39):
three percent of them are able to correctly identify and
define socialism branding. They think socialism is great because of
what they've been told, and it is. They don't know
what it is, and that nails it everything Rush just said.
And that's the power someone has, a candidate on the left,
(01:26:05):
an organization that's plugged into a large news media organization.
That's the power you have when you know, no matter
what you say, even if it's wrong, Cnn'll say, yep,
I have to agree with Kamala on that. That's why.
(01:26:25):
That's what makes Russia's success and the conservative movement and
the MAGA movement so darn impressive. Even today, President Trump
is more popular now than ever before. Why because in
(01:26:46):
twenty twenty, the year of the American Awakening, the wheel
started to come off. There were so many false narratives,
so many words that were redefined, so many people that
were redefined think about the absurdity of it, and oh
(01:27:07):
against all of that. Decade after decade, Rush was able
to push back and cut through all the propaganda. How
many times did you hear young people calling Russia's show
and say, you know, I started listen to you. My
friend at work, or my mom or my dad turned
(01:27:27):
me onto it or whatever. That's the power of this philosophy.
It the truth. It spreads. The lie spread too. But
here's the problem. When the lie spread, eventually they die.
As the truth spreads. As mister Limbaugh spread the truth,
(01:27:50):
it sticks, it gets bigger, it increases, and twenty twenty,
I think a lot of us could agree was the
turning point. It's the year that the Democrats, even though
they control just about everything, they've lost all control because
(01:28:10):
their ideology has been flawed. It's always been flawed. We'll
be right back. I am your guide today, Ken Matthews.
If you're interested in refinancing your mortgage, get in touch
with the lender that Rush recommended to us, American Financing. Now.
This is a company that puts your needs first. American

please make today the day you call American Financing and
get the refinance process started. Now you'll work with a

number Rush always shared with you eight hundred seven nine
five twelve ten. Eight hundred seven nine five twelve ten,
(01:29:35):
or visit American Financing dot net, NMLS one eight two
three three four NMLS Consumer access dot org and now
back to the phones. Pastor Bob is in Chicago. Welcome
to the Rush Limbaugh show pastor all, mister Matthews, you're
(01:29:56):
doing a great job. And I wish I could have
told these always the Rush I tried to get on
years ago to tell him some stories that happened that
involved him with me. Number One, I am so happy
that Rush died in the Lord Jesus Christ, because then
I'll see him again. And I can't wait for that
reunion in heaven where there's no crying, no paying, no
(01:30:16):
tears because of one of our Lord and Savior did
for us. And God bless Rush's family, his staff, his wife.
David Limbaugh writes some great theological books. God bless him
and his family too. We all miss Rush, but those
of us who have trusted in Christ will see him well.
Going back to nineteen ninety four, I was driving our
company truck for our family eating an Eric conditioning business.
(01:30:39):
I was in Chicago. I had a Rush's right bumper
sticker on. I was on the Vision Street in Chicago.
I'm in all of a sudden, my hair at you,
ask Rush at you? And a guy going insane banging
on a staring wheel at a red light. He proceeds
to get out of his truck. He doesn't know who
he's dealing with it. May be a pastor, but I'm
(01:31:00):
a boxer and wrestler, he says, begging on my truck
to come up to my truck. And I got out
and I drove away. I told the story on Chris Plant,
and Chris Plant says, I love a happy ending. Yeah,
just gonna say if you a decked him in the
name of Jesus right, well, yeah, you know, hey, he
(01:31:20):
was coming to attack me. George Fuhman, he's a boxer,
he's a pastor. You know, I'm not going to agree.
I never realized how the left were so intolerant. So well,
it's so interesting that you bring that up, because in
the last segment we played when Rush was talking to
the gentleman from New York, it is a it's a
almost a frothy, rabid thing where those of us that
(01:31:45):
say you have pride in your car, you have to
actually think, Okay, I'm driving to Philadelphia with the family today,
do I want to park with a Trump sticker on
my car? Because I know some grown fool on the
left it's going to keep my car. Had cars keyed
twice in my whole life, both during a presidential election,
both in a blue county. That's it. It's the only
(01:32:06):
damage I've ever had in my cars, so I can
imagine it's Chicago is probably rampant during the Trump election
twenty sixteen. I'm a cancer patient. You know, I was
given three to five years to live. I'm on year seven,
but I was doing chemotherapy during the election, plugged into
the poison, sitting there at Liola Hospital. I'm not going
(01:32:27):
to say that. I'm not going to say the radio
guy's name. He's a famous radio person from the Chicago area.
His daughter in law. His daughter in law was my
chemo nurse. I gave Trump bumper stickers to some nurses
over there. I'm hooked up to the poison. She comes
out and says to me, she liked me, she loved
me because I'm I'm a patient. I'm going to encourage
(01:32:49):
other people about there's more to life than this. There's
the Savior. And all of a sudden, she sees a
bumper sticker on the nurse's desk. She comes up to me.
She pulls it out while I'm plugged in the poison,
and of other people says, what's this? I go, I go,
excuse me. She goes, what's this. I go, well, I
gave it to nurse this. She goes, Just because of that,
(01:33:10):
you're not going to get my father father in law's
signature of autograph. And she never was friendly to me again.
Why I could have got her in trouble. I could
have got her in trouble, but I don't want to. Well,
I think I think that. And thanks for calling Pastor Bob.
I think God was looking out for you again, because
you're lucky. She just didn't pull out all your chords.
(01:33:31):
She could have said this guy's voting for Donald Trump
orderly and just unplugged everything. You know, stranger things have happened.
But all kidding aside, any conservative, you know exactly what
we're talking about. You know that your kid can wear
(01:33:51):
a blank to police T shirt. He can wear a
Kamala Harris. I guess it would be a tank tup.
But you show up in a maga hat. Ladies and gentlemen,
there's gonna be trouble. Thank you again. It's always great
to have the pleasure to interact with you on the
EIB network. It was great to have a pastor Bob Wayne.
(01:34:16):
I love what he said about Rush and now Rush
is seeing and hearing everything. I hope things work out
in a way where he's going to continue to smile
from where he is eight hundred two eight two twenty
eight eighty two. I see that happening. I you know,
a lot of people have different you know, it's hard
(01:34:38):
to get a true read because the news media has
pretty much shut down anyone that supports Trump, which is
just it's heartbreaking when you think about it. When you
think about all the men and women, especially from a
generation ago pre say Previetnam. I guess that would be
a generation, but let's say Previet Nom and even even
(01:35:00):
during Vietnam, even in the sixties. You look at how
and we were discussing this before the quote liberal ideology,
the leftist progressive ideology. You look at how it treated
free speech. Think about Berkeley and places like Stanford and
these these big marquee universities, and think, we'll think about
(01:35:25):
the protest in Berkeley. Think about where and when the
anti war movement started, and how free speech was embraced
and that open level of protest was embraced. And look
at the difference now Now the government is targeting a
(01:35:47):
whole segment of our population and pretty much saying no,
if you disagree with us on the biggest issues of
the day, which is usually a narrative from the government
or from the left, there's going to be a penalty
of some kind. Now, this is what I wanted to
(01:36:08):
point out before I mentioned earlier in the second hour
of the show, I talked about China how much it's
shutting down, and they also said that they have a
group in China now and I'm paraphrasing that. I don't
have the document in front of me, but it says
if your opinion is threatening to another Chinese citizen, not
(01:36:31):
your words, not your actions, if your opinion threatens them,
if they're uncomfortable by it, they can call the authorities
on you and you could possibly be Now you see
where that's going, right, not just nineteen thirties Germany, but
the Middle East, South American dictatorships, communism will now check
(01:36:55):
this out. Free expression activists have called on Joe Biden
to create an online disinformation Task Force. So this is
a coalition of different organizations and they've contacted the Biden
regime to create a disinfo a disinformation task force, and
(01:37:18):
it would come up with solutions to censor online misinformation
that they deem misinformation. Okay, you see where it now,
see common sense people, intelligent people know where this is going.
(01:37:38):
But there's so many people on the left that don't
possess that common sense. What scares me is there's so
many people in leadership that cannot grasp this that this
is the government basically saying here's what you're going to say,
here's how you're going to think, and if not, our
(01:37:59):
task wars will eliminate you. Now they started doing this
years ago. We all pointed this out rush would point
this out with Obama because Obama that administration targeted people
all the time, especially for example, if you were anti Obamacare.
But now it's rampant. So the article it's by Dan Freeth,
(01:38:25):
and he goes on to say this, like many of
you have used the pandemic to increase and justify censorship.
The Coalition of Free Expression, the ones that want to
form the Disinformation Task fors. The coalition referenced what it
says is the spread of falsehoods surrounding COVID nineteen and
(01:38:48):
wearing masks and lockdowns and the spread of falsehoods about
the twenty twenty election. Sound familiar. What are know what
your opinion is, but my opinion is the most misreported
and manipulated issues in the last say year and a half,
(01:39:08):
I would say the pandemic. It was leveraged. It was
used to create fear where there was danger. It was
exaggerated where people were suffering. It was multiplied in the
media to create more fear and control. The twenty twenty
election is a great example of that. There can be
(01:39:30):
no discussions on it. So they go on to say
this and this is what's scary. The prevalence of deceptions, propaganda,
and conspiracy theories related to the twenty twenty election and
the recent Capital insurrection illustrate the clear and present threat
that disinformation poses to our democracy and national security. Now
(01:39:55):
that's written for people that aren't that bright. Alyssa Milano
comes to mind. Don Lemon. By the way, this is
from Axios. So think about the absurdity of that you've
already been banned or censored, or targeted, or de platformed
or demonetized if you have a different narrative of those
(01:40:21):
of those issues. If your narrative is you know, I
followed the protocols, but I stopped wearing the mask. Six
months ago. Well then you're gone. You're offline. If you
say I'm hoping the six states recount all the votes,
I hope it's a transparent audit. I hope we get
(01:40:41):
to the bottom of some of the fraud and some
of the illegality from the twenty twenty election throughout the country.
If you say something that rational, which is your constitutional right,
you do understand this audience does. But think of how
many leftists don't. They don't understand that they lose their
(01:41:02):
first Amendment right the same way you lost your first
amendment right last year when millions of adults said, all right,
we'll go to church when you say we'll take our
kids out of school, we'll put the mask on the kid,
we won't go out to dinner, we won't travel, We'll
do whatever you say, even though it's a violation of
(01:41:24):
so many things. So I'm just going to give you
a few companies that signed off on the letter, and
then you know, I'm sure people will Google it and
look it up or whatever. Google is kind of a joke,
you know that. So find a platform that works that
is an anti U. Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Center for
Democracy and Technology, Common Cause, the Center for American Progress.
(01:41:50):
As soon as I see progress or democracy, I could
almost guarantee that some big leftist operation is funding it.
So that's just something to be aware of. But that's
what's coming next, and I can tell you why it's
coming because, like we said at the top of the show,
(01:42:12):
the Democrats control everything. They have no excuse to be
failing this big. Yet they're failing bigly. There's no excuse.
What is their excuse? They have the House, the Senate,
the Oval Office, news media, social media, showbiz, Hollywood, whatever,
(01:42:36):
and they're still failing bigly. So what's their next step.
Their next step is to do what they always do.
They're gonna redefine the language and they're going to create
a new narrative. That's it. That's all they can do.
There's nothing else they can do. Mike, do I have time?
(01:42:57):
I just want to ask you. I don't mean to
ask you on the art. I want to make sure
do I have time to play the next Rush segment?
Or should we wait till the next break? Okay, we're
gonna wait because coming up next, Rush has a wonderful
example of how when the left gets backed into a corner,
(01:43:18):
they just start redefining the language for everybody, and they'll
go as far as to say, oh, no, no, that's
not what I meant. You know what I said, we're
gonna close down the Keystone pipeline. I meant We're gonna
keep the Pea Stone pipeline open, and then when I
get elected, I'll close it. And then when you call
me on it, I'll say I never said that. But
what is the definition of clothes? You know where we're going.
(01:43:40):
We'll be right back the Rush Limbaugh Show on the
EIB Network. I'm your guide today, Ken Matthews. Every day
we share what's called the EIB high Note, and today's
EIB high Note is the nighttime splashdown for NASA. Now. Yesterday,
four astronaut crew of SpaceX, the Dragon Resilience, returned safely
(01:44:04):
from the International Space Station. They were up there for
one hundred and sixty eight days. About three am, they
landed golf in Mexico. This was the first nighttime return
to Earth for NASA since Apollo eight, which was the
first mission to orbit the Moon in nineteen sixty eight.
And like millions of you, Rush was fascinated by space exploration.
(01:44:27):
Today's EIB high Note is Rush recalling the time he
met the astronaut Kevin Chilton. It wasn't long ago that
I found myself in Tampa. We had to go over
there for a meeting, and on the way back home,
it flew over there. We got back to the FBO
at the airport, my pilots were talking to a guy
(01:44:49):
in a blue Air Force uniform. So walk out of
a get out of the car and I walked. I
approached the stairway to board EIB one. The pilot says,
this is one of the astronauts of the final last
ever Shuttle mission. So I said, no kiddings. I went
(01:45:09):
over and I said hello to the guy. I don't
want to mention his name. We had a great conversation.
They had to he and the commander of the mission
was there too. Their T thirty eight had encountered a
mechanical Astronauts get to fly around a T thirty eights.
They've been flying around T thirty eighths. They get their
own jets. This thing is like a T thirty eight.
(01:45:30):
You ought to google a T thirty it see what
it must be like sitting a cockpit on one of
these things. In flying right, you basically on a go
kart doing fifteen hundred miles an hour. I mean, you're that.
If it weren't a mecanopy, you'd be explained it's it's
an old plane. But they get flying right. They had
a mechanical and they had to put down. They were
on the way to Houston back from the Cape. So
(01:45:53):
I had a great conversation with this one astronaut and
I said, you know the thing that most me. These
are the guys going up Friday. And they were nice
as they could be. And I said, the thing that
has always amazed me, And I said, by the way,
I dropped a name that I knew they would know.
(01:46:13):
You remember Snartly there was an astronaut back during the
TV show. He was a fan and one of the
other astronauts going up on a mission that he was commanding,
had requested a videotape on Super eight Video that they
would play for him in orbit from me if recorded
from the set. His name was Kevin Chilton. That Kevin
(01:46:36):
went on after his astronaut days in it he went
on to run one of the most powerful influential space agencies.
So anyway, I mentioned his astronaut that I had met
Kevin Chilton. Of course his eyes lit up, because everybody
in the Astronaut program knows Kevin Chilton. That's how important
(01:46:57):
Kevin Chilton was. And I said, I told Kevin Chilton,
finally got a chance to meet him after we did
the video from the TV set, and he took by
the way, Kevin Chilton took some pictures outside the window
of his shuttle of New York at night and blew
those pictures. That gave them to me as a gift
EIB headquarters at night and then during the daytime, and
(01:47:20):
those pictures hang with pride in my dumbicile even to
this day. But I've told this, guys, and after mentioning
Kevin Chilton's name, and I said, I even mentioned this
to him, and he said, oh gosh, that's nothing. I said,
what I have been most amazed at. And there's a
lot I'm amazed at. But here you've got this space
shuttle with a glide ratio of like nine to one,
(01:47:43):
which means it falls out of the sky like a rock.
It comes down from two hundred thirty miles high with
no power. They hit their retro rockets and they slow
down and they fall out of orbit, and they go
to the atmosphere and he shield deploys, all that stuff happens,
and then they re enter the atmosphere. They're aiming at
(01:48:07):
basically a three mile runway at Cape Canaveral from two
hundred plus miles high, and they've got one chance at it.
They can't power up and fly around and try again.
And I'm going on and on and on telling this guy,
I'm just amazed by They said, you know how we
(01:48:29):
train that, you know how we practice that. I said, no,
we go up in a gulf stream too, with the
thrust reversers deployed to try to recreate coming in with
no power. Of course, we've got to have power on
our gulfs where we can't come down with no power
in the gulf stream. But I said, why, why you
can do it with the shovel. You're falling out of
the sky. So I'm amazed the thing even glides, to
(01:48:51):
tell you the truth, but it does. Now. The thrust reversers, folks,
those are the things that are in the rear of
a jet engine that are used their employed when the
jet lands to help slow it down on the runway.
There are metal plates that's fire up at the rear
of the exhaust and the jet so that the exhaust
the thrust is reversed and thrown forward. So it's like
(01:49:15):
air brakes if those things deploy in the air on
your airliner or well you pull out of this guy.
They practice the shuttle coming back with the thrust reverses
deployed on a Gulf stream too. It still amazes me
that it's worked. Every I know a computer is handling up,
(01:49:36):
but they still manuallyd doing the last thing of the
last minut to flare the nose up and get the land.
It still amazes me. Thank you so much for tuning
in today to the EIB Network at the Rush Limbaugh Show.
My name is Ken Matthews. I've been your guide today.
You can find me at gab dot com forward slash
Ken Matthews. Why gab because they don't censor me and
(01:49:57):
I'm big on free speech as I know a lot
of people polars. So if I don't catch you here,
I can see you there. That's what free speech is
all about. In the meantime, I want to remind you
of our friend James Golden aka bo Snerdley. He has
a new podcast series coming out next week. I can't
wait till this kicks off. It's gonna be a week
from this Wednesday, so it's next Wednesday. That would be
(01:50:19):
the Wednesday after Mother's Day. It's called Rush Limbaugh, The
Man behind the Golden EIB Microphone. It's great stories about
Rush from Bo Snrdley aka James Golden that worked with
him so long. You're gonna love it. We'll see you
again tomorrow
