(00:42):
your own research and discover the subject matter for yourself. Hi.
I'm Sandra Champlain. For over twenty five years, I've been
on a journey to prove the existence of life after death.
On each episode, we'll discuss the reasons we now know
(01:02):
that our loved ones have survived physical death and so
will we. Welcome to Shades of the Afterlife. It's natural
for us human beings to want the truth, the truth
about life, the truth about death, the truth about the afterlife,
the good news and The bad news is there is
no one truth. There is your truth. And on every
(01:26):
episode I share different stories and I want you to
find that truth that helps you have a good life. Today,
I want to share some of the remarkable words of
Edgar Casey, as it has been requested by some listeners,
and then towards the end of our time together, I'll
share about the near death experience of Professor Dean Brinson
(01:50):
now Edgar Casey. Many have heard his name, but who
was he. He was a humble man from Kentucky, and
he would enter the trance state and provide astonishing, detailed
information about health, spirituality, the afterlife, and more. He seemed
to bridge Eastern spiritual concepts with Western religious traditions. Casey
(02:13):
was referred to as the Sleeping Prophet, an American clairvoyant
who only had an eighth grade education, but he gained
recognition for his ability to enter a self induced trance
state and provide extremely interesting readings from a young age.
Case he demonstrated unusual psychic abilities, but it was his
(02:34):
work providing medical diagnoses and remedies while he was in
that trance state that first brought him prominence. As his
readings expanded so did his exploration of spiritual concepts, particularly
the journey of the soul and the continuity of consciousness
beyond our physical death. His legacy continues to influence many
(02:59):
people interested in holistic health, spiritual growth, and the mysteries
of life after death. Edgar Casey lived from eighteen seventy
seven to nineteen forty five. He spent most of his
life in the state of Kentucky. Later he moved to
Virginia Beach, Virginia, and in nineteen twenty five he established
(03:21):
the Association for Research and Enlightenment, which still continues today. Now.
Although Edgar Casey didn't write any books himself, there are
hundreds of books attributed to him or based on his readings.
Amazon lists over one hundred and fifty unique titles. These
(03:43):
books cover a vast range of topics like health, remedies, spirituality, dreams,
the afterlife, and much more. I'd like to read now
some of his teachings, but they have been updated for
words we use today. The physical body ceases its earthly function,
a magnificent journey begins for the soul, one that few
(04:07):
fully comprehend during their time in the material world. The
first moments after physical death are not of darkness or void,
but of profound awakening. The soul, released from its temporary vessel,
experiences a sensation that many who have had a near
death experience describe as an extraordinary lightness, a freedom from
(04:31):
the constraints that once bound consciousness to matter. In those
initial moments, there's often confusion. As awareness expands beyond the
limitations of physical perception, the soul finds itself in what
we might call a transitional state, neither fully detached from
the earthly plane nor completely integrated into the spiritual realms.
(04:55):
This is where the first phase of the soul's journey begins.
Many spiritual traditions speak of a silver cord that connects
the soul to the physical body throughout life, and it's
the severing of this energetic connection that completes the transition.
Once this occurs, the soul begins to perceive reality through
(05:16):
different faculties, not through physical eyes or ears, but through
pure consciousness. Colors become more vibrant, sounds more harmonic, and
a profound sense of remembering occurs. The soul recognizes and
remembers its true nature. This recognition brings varied responses for souls,
(05:40):
deeply attached to material existence, there can be resistance, confusion,
or even denial. These souls may linger near their physical
remains or loved ones for a short while. Others, particularly
those who have cultivated spiritual understanding during life transition, with
greater ease, embracing the expanded awareness with gratitude and wonder.
(06:05):
During these early days after transition, the soul often witnesses
its own funeral proceedings, observes the grief of loved ones,
and attempts to communicate with them. This is when so
many of the reported after death communications occur. When the
newly transitioned soul, still learning to navigate its new existence,
(06:26):
reaches across the veil and attempts to reassure those left behind.
As noted by Edgar in his Remarkable Readings, the soul
during this phase reviews its most recent life experience, not
as judgment, but as a process of understanding. This life
review differs from what many imagine. It's not simply watching
(06:48):
events unfold as they happen chronologically, but experiencing them with
a profound empathy that transcends time and perspective. The soul
feels not only its own emotions, but those of everyone
impacted by its actions throughout life. Consider the story of Michael,
(07:08):
a businessman who transitioned unexpectedly at the age of fifty eight.
In communications received through mediumship, he described experiencing his life
from multiple perspectives, simultaneously feeling the hurt he caused through
his thoughtless words or actions which happened decades earlier, also
(07:29):
the joy he brought through acts of kindness that he'd forgotten,
and the ripple effects of both his largest decisions and
seemingly insignificant choices. This review process is not punishment, but education,
the soul's opportunity to fully comprehend the meaning and impact
of its earthly journey. It represents the beginning of integration,
(07:54):
where lessons from physical experience are absorbed at the soul level.
As the days extend into weeks, the soul gradually adapts
to existence without a physical body. Those who maintain spiritual
practices during life often report this adaptation occurs more smoothly,
(08:14):
as if they had been preparing for this transition all along.
Those who lived primarily focused on material concerns typically require
more adjustment, sometimes experiencing what we might metaphorically describe as
a kind of spiritual therapy to help them release attachments
and expand awareness. During this period, souls begin to recognize
(08:39):
that thoughts create reality. In the spiritual dimensions. What once
was dismissed as imagination is now understood as creative force.
The soul learns that consciousness shapes experience far more directly
than it did in the physical realm. This realization brings
(09:00):
both freedom and responsibility, as the soul recognizes its power
to create its experience through focused intention. By the end
of the first month after transition, most souls have completed
their initial adjustment and have begun to explore the vastness
of their new existence. They encounter other souls, both those
(09:22):
they knew in physical life and spiritual guides who assist
in this acclamation process. Communication occurs not through words, but
through direct transfer of thought and feeling, a form of
communion more intimate and complete than any earthly dialogue. As
the soul enters the second phase of its journey, typically
(09:45):
between the second and fourth months after this physical transition,
it experiences what many spiritual traditions call the realm of recognition.
This is a profound period where the greater spiritual res
reality becomes increasingly apparent, and the soul begins to understand
its place within the cosmic tapestry. During this phase, the
(10:09):
soul encounters what we might describe as soul groups, collections
of kindred spirits with whom it has traveled across many lifetimes.
These reunions bring indescribable joy and a sense of homecoming
that transcends our earthly understanding of relationships. Imagine meeting beings
(10:31):
who you know love you completely, unconditionally, and you share
a spiritual history spanning eons with This is the nature
of these reunions. One particularly moving account comes from Elena,
whose husband communicated several months after his transition. He described
(10:51):
encountering not only his parents and grandparents, but souls he
instantly recognized despite having no conscious mens memory of them
during his recent incarnation. It's like remembering something you never
knew you forgot, he explained. This phase brings a deepening
of the life review that began in the first months. Now,
(11:13):
with greater spiritual clarity and distance from physical existence, the
soul examines its recent life within the context of its
entire soul journey. Patterns become evident. Lessons attempted across multiple lifetimes,
spiritual contracts with other souls, and the higher purpose behind
(11:34):
circumstances that seemed random or even cruel during physical existence.
As noted in the remarkable psychic readings of Edgar Casey,
the soul doesn't experience time as we do. What we
might constitute as a month in our earthly measurement could
feel entirely different in spiritual realms. The soul exists in
(11:56):
what might be described as an eternal leernal now, where past, present,
and future are accessible simultaneously. Yet there does seem to
be a progression of experience that, for our understanding, can
be mapped somewhat to earthly time. During this period, souls
often report a sort of spiritual education tailored to their
(12:20):
unique developmental needs. Some describe vast libraries containing the wisdom
of the ages. Others speak of learning centers where advanced
souls share knowledge through direct transmission of consciousness. This education
is an intellectual in nature, but transformative, changing the very
(12:41):
essence of the soul's understanding rather than simply adding information.
It's time for the break. But did you know that
While Edgar Casey didn't write any books, over fourteen thousand
of His documented readings are meticulously preserved and cataloged at
his ar Lie Library. We'll be right back. You're listening
(13:03):
to Shades of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and Coast
to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. Welcome back to Shades
(13:30):
of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain, and I've got a
couple of bits of trivia about Edgar Casey. First, despite
offering intricate medical readings that often included pharmaceutical compounds, dietary advice,
and therapies, Casey himself only had an eighth grade education.
(13:51):
He claimed to remember nothing of the readings upon waking. Also,
Edgar Casey's work laid the foundation for or much of
today's holistic health movement. He's often called the father of
holistic medicine because he continually emphasized the interconnectedness of body, mind,
(14:12):
and spirit for true healing long before it became mainstream.
Let's continue with what he says about education in the afterlife.
Some describe vast libraries containing the wisdom of the ages.
Others speak of learning centers where advanced souls share knowledge
(14:32):
through direct transmission of consciousness. This education is an intellectual
in nature, but transformative, changing the very essence of the
soul's understanding, rather than simply adding information. For souls who
departed with unresolved trauma or attachment, this period often involves
(14:53):
healing work of profound depth. Spiritual guides, some of whom
may have been known to during physical life, and others
who operate primarily in spiritual dimensions, assist in this healing process.
Through what might be described as a vibrational therapy, these
wounded aspects of consciousness are gradually restored to wholeness. This
(15:17):
is also when many souls begin to comprehend the purpose
behind suffering that they experienced or witnessed during physical existence.
From this elevated perspective, they see how challenges served as
catalysts for growth, how relationships provided opportunity for balancing karmic energies,
(15:39):
and how even the most difficult circumstances offered precious gifts
of spiritual evolution. Consider the testimony shared through deep meditation
channels about Thomas, a young man who transitioned after years
of battling addiction. From his new perspective, he could see
(16:00):
see how his struggles had created opportunities for compassion in
those around him. How his journey had prompted others to
examine their own relationships with attachment and escape, and how
even his most destructive choices contain seeds of profound spiritual teaching,
(16:20):
both for himself and others. During this phase, the soul
begins to understand that the purpose of incarnation isn't happiness
as we conceive it in human terms, but growth, service,
and the expansion of consciousness. Many souls report a kind
of cosmic perspective shift, where earthly concerns that once seemed
(16:43):
all important are recognized as temporary conditions in an eternal journey.
As this period progresses, many souls develop the ability to
more consciously connect with loved ones still in physical formanes
why many grieving individuals report sensing the presence of their
(17:04):
departed loved ones, and, most strongly, several months after the transition,
the soul has gained sufficient mastery of its new state
of being to intentionally direct love and healing energy across
dimensional boundaries. The relationship with time and space transforms dramatically.
(17:26):
During this phase, the soul discovers it can move through
different spiritual dimensions through intention rather than physical movement. Some
describe this as thinking yourself to a destination or state
of being. This freedom from physical limitations allows for exploration
of realms that defy earthly description, landscapes of living light,
(17:50):
geometric patterns encoding cosmic wisdom, or states of pure vibrational harmony.
By the end of this phase, approximately four months after
physical transition, the soul has generally adjusted to its new
state and gained significant understanding of its recent life experience
with the greater context of its eternal journey. It stands
(18:14):
at the threshold of deeper spiritual integration, prepared to embrace
the next stage of its after death experience with growing
wisdom and expanding awareness. As the soul moves into the
fifth through eighth months of its journey beyond physical existence,
it enters what mystic traditions often call the period of integration.
(18:38):
During this crucial phase, the soul begins to synthesize all
that it has learned and experienced, both from its most
recent incarnation and from the profound insights gained during the
early months of transition. This integration occurs at a level
far deeper than intellectual on goderstanding. It's a vibrational assimilation
(19:04):
where wisdom becomes part of the soul's very essence. Imagine
the difference between reading about compassion and becoming compassion itself.
This transformation represents the nature of soul integration during this period.
Many teachers have spoken of this phase as one where
(19:26):
the soul begins to perceive its soul blueprint, the higher
design and purpose of its journey across many lifetimes. The
soul now recognizes itself as a part of a greater
cosmic pattern, interwoven with all other souls and an intricate
(19:46):
dance of spiritual evolution. The concept of time continues to
shift dramatically. One might constitute months in our earthly measurement
exists as a quality of experience rather than linear progression
(20:06):
in the spirit world. Each soul progresses through these states
at its own pace, depending on its spiritual development and
the nature of its attachment to physical existence. One profound
aspect of this period involves karmic resolution. With expanded awareness,
the soul perceives the complete tapestry of cause and effect
(20:31):
across multiple lifetimes. It understands how actions in one incarnation
created conditions in another, how relationships served as vehicles for
balancing energetic exchanges, and how challenges provided opportunities for soul growth.
(20:51):
Consider Sarah's experience, accessed through Edgar Casey's deep trance channeling
approximately six months after her transition. She described suddenly understanding
why she had chosen parents who could not meet her
emotional needs. This arrangement had created precisely the conditions needed
(21:14):
to develop her own inner strength and cultivate the compassion
that became her greatest gift to others. What had seemed
like a painful childhood deficiency was revealed as a purposeful
spiritual catalyst. During this phase, many souls also begin conscious
(21:34):
participation in cosmic service. They discover that even without physical form,
they can contribute to spiritual evolution. Some focus on sending
healing energies to those still in physical form, particularly loved
ones struggling with grief. Others assist newly transitioning souls, helping
(21:57):
them navigate the initial confusion with compassion. Edgar's reading suggest
that during this period, the soul also begins preparation for
its next phase of existence. For some, this means laying
groundwork for another physical incarnation. For others, it involves advancement
(22:17):
to higher spiritual dimensions. The soul with greater clarity about
its purpose formulates intentions that will shape its future expression.
This is also when many souls discover their soul specialties,
particular qualities or gifts developed across many lifetimes, like healing, teaching,
(22:39):
or creative expression. These specialties become more and more evident
and accessible informing how the soul will express itself moving forward.
A fascinating aspect involves timeline exploration. Free from physical constraints,
the soul can perceive potential futures and alternative versions of
(23:02):
its past lives. This understanding brings a profound appreciation for
free will and its role in cosmic creation. Souls in
this phase often report a cosmic perspective, the ability to
simultaneously hold awareness of both individual experience and universal consciousness.
(23:24):
One soul described it as seeing through my eyes and
God's eyes at the same time. This dual perception brings
extraordinary compassion and understanding. For souls who departed with unresolved
emotional patterns, this period often involves purification. This isn't punishment,
(23:47):
but loving restoration of the soul's natural harmony, occurring within
a field of unconditional love and support from more advanced
spiritual beings. By the eighth month after physical transition, most
souls have achieved significant integration of their recent Earth experience
(24:07):
and gained clarity about their sole purpose. They exist in
a state of expanded awareness, perceiving multiple dimensions and understanding
their connectedness to all of creation. They have moved beyond
initial adjustment into conscious participation with the greater spiritual reality.
(24:30):
As this phase concludes, the soul stands at the threshold
of significant choice regarding its next expression. We're going to
stop there for the reading will continue with what happens
next in our journey in the afterlife after the break,
But a little bit more trivia. You've heard the term
(24:51):
a Kashik records. While the concept of a Kashik records
exists in older Eastern spiritual traditions, EDW. Your Case's readings
were instrumental in popularizing this idea in the West, and
his access to them during readings brought this concept into
(25:12):
the modern term we know today. He described the Akashak
records as a vast, non physical archive of all thoughts, deeds,
and experiences. So when you think of the term Akashak records,
you can thank Edgar Casey. It's time for our break,
We'll be back with more of the Sleeping profit You're
(25:33):
listening to Shades of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and
Coast to Coast AM Paranormal Podcast Network. Welcome back to
(26:00):
Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain and this episode
is dedicated to a few listeners who requested I talk
about the Great Edgar Casey. Edgar Casey was known as
the Sleeping Prophet as he would go into trance and
bring through medical treatments, philosophy, psychic information, and words about
(26:24):
the afterlife. In fact, it was in nineteen ten that
Edgar Casey first gained national attention. He was just thirty
three years old and a New York Times article headlined
illiterate man becomes a doctor when hypnotized. That brought him
his initial fame. He had done over fourteen thousand readings
(26:48):
in this trance state, and there are over one hundred
and fifty books published about these readings. In nineteen forty three,
a magazine called him the miracle Man of Virginia Beach.
He passed away at the age of sixty seven, and
his most significant popularity was when he was in his
(27:09):
mid sixties. Interesting, I'm fifty nine, so maybe my best
years are yet to come. Let's continue with his words
of what happens after death. We're going to move now
into the ninth month. In the final months of the
soul's first year after physical transition, typically the ninth through
(27:30):
twelve months, a profound process unfolds called the period of decision.
The soul reaches a critical juncture where it must determine
the next expression of its journey. This decision emerges from
deep communion with councils of Light or karmic boards, which
(27:50):
are assemblies of highly evolved spiritual beings who assist in
reviewing the soul's progress and illuminating potential paths forward. These
councils provide wisdom and perspective, helping the soul align in
its next steps with its highest purpose. Free will remains paramount.
(28:12):
The soul, with its expanded awareness, exercises choice based on
what will best serve its continuing evolution and contribution to
cosmic unfoldment. For some, this means preparation for another physical incarnation,
for others, advancement to different dimensions of spiritual service. During
(28:35):
this final phase, the soul experiences cosmic vision, a profound
revelation of the interconnectedness of all of creation and its
own place within this infinite tapestry. This vision transcends human understanding,
revealing patterns and purposes that remain largely hidden during physical existence.
(28:59):
The sole how seemingly random events and relationships form part
of an exquisite design serving the evolution of consciousness itself.
Consider David's experience shared through spiritual regression, who described this
period as standing at the center point of a vast
(29:21):
web of relationships, seeing how each connection vibrated with purpose
across many lifetimes. He could perceive how his most painful
experiences had often catalyzed his greatest growth, and how his
smallest acts of kindness created ripples affecting countless others. Edgar's
(29:43):
readings suggest that during this phase, the soul also attains
clarity about its sole contract, the specific lessons, relationships, and
contributions it has committed to as part of its evolutionary journey.
This clarity brings profound acceptance of both the challenges and
(30:05):
gifts contained within this contract. For souls preparing to reincarnate,
this period involves careful consideration of the circumstances that will
best facilitate their continuing evolution. They select the time period,
geographical location, family dynamics, and key relationships. This selection process
(30:30):
represents profound spiritual strategy, often involving a collaborative creation with
future parents and spiritual guides. Souls make agreements with others
they've known across many lifetimes to reunite in specific relationships
for mutual growth. For souls not immediately returning to physical incarnation,
(30:53):
this phase involves preparation for advancement to higher vibrational dimensions,
where different forms of service and expression become possible, like
cosmic healing or creative expression. During this period, the soul
also completes the release of attachment. The soul recognizes itself
(31:14):
as an eternal consciousness that has experienced countless forms. Many
spiritual communications describe this phase as one of extraordinary peace
and clarity, where the soul experiences divine alignment. Sarah, accessed
through Edgar Casey approximately eleven months after her transition, described
(31:37):
this state as absolute belonging, a complete acceptance of both
her as an individual and her inseparability from the whole
of creation. She communicated, you realize you're both a wave
and the ocean. Simultaneously. As the first year concludes, the
(31:58):
soul has completed a profound transformation, culminating and expanded awareness,
deeper understanding, and conscious participation in the cosmic process. The
soul that emerges bears little resemblance to the limited identity
it held during physical existence, yet carries forward essential qualities
(32:20):
and wisdom for those still in physical form. Understanding this
journey transforms our relationship with death itself. Rather than an ending,
physical transition, marks a new beginning, a doorway into expanded
consciousness and continuing evolution. The soul never dies, It transforms, integrates,
(32:44):
and continues its eternal journey. This understanding doesn't eliminate grief,
but it can infuse that grief with hope and perspective.
The connections formed between souls transcend physical existence. Love, the
most powerful force in creation, continues to bind souls together
(33:06):
across dimensions, beyond time, and through all transformations of consciousness.
In contemplating this magnificent journey of the soul, we glimpse
our own eternal nature and the profound purpose underlying our
temporary physical existence. We are, as Edgar Casey so often emphasized,
(33:29):
spiritual beings having a human experience, not for punishment or
by random chance, but as part of an extraordinary journey
of consciousness unfolding across eternity. How popular are Edgar Casey's
teachings today? Pretty popular. The global reach of the AAR
(33:51):
his Association for Research and Enlightenment, has centers in twenty
five countries and representation in another thirty seven countries. I
was curious to find what Casey teaches about animals in
the afterlife. What I could find is Edgar casey readings
(34:14):
suggest that animals have a spirit or a life essence,
but not a soul in the same complex, individualistic, and
evolving sense that humans possess. The human soul, according to Casey,
is imbued with free will and the capacity for growth
back to oneness with the creator. Animals, while having a
(34:37):
life force, do not have the same kind of individual
soul journey or karmic progression as humans. Animals, particularly pets,
are often seen as serving a purpose in the human journey.
They contribute to our emotional and spiritual development, teaching us
(34:57):
about unconditional love, responsible ability, and compassion. There are suggestions
in his readings and interpretations that pets can be present
in afterlife experiences of their human companions. This aligns with
the idea that heaven or Heaven's we experience are co
(35:19):
created on a soul level and include meaningful relationships with animals.
If a pet was deeply loved and significant to a
person's life, that connection will persist and be experienced in
the afterlife. One interpretation of Casey's work mentions that souls
(35:40):
travel together through many lifetimes, even with our pets. While
Casey emphasized human reincarnation, he generally did not teach that
human souls transmigrate into animal forms. Consistent with the law
of conservation of energy, Casey's broader philosophy suggests that no
(36:03):
energy or life force is ever truly destroyed, only transformed.
While not specifying an individual afterlife journey for every animal,
Casey suggests the essence of life continues for all. In
our next segment together, I'll share about Professor Dean Brinson's
(36:26):
near death experience, but just some final words about Edgar Casey,
the Sleeping Profit, and his profound perspective on the afterlife,
reminding us all that death is not an end, but
a transition, a new beginning for the soul. He taught
that our earthly lives are simply a classroom, a temporary
(36:47):
experience designed for our spiritual growth. From his vast readings,
we learn that when the physical body passes the soul,
our true essence is released into realms of expanded awareness.
It is a journey of remembering our true nature, a
place where consciousness continues its evolution, guided by divine love.
(37:09):
He emphasized that the connections we forge hear, especially through love,
transcend physical boundaries. Our loved ones are not truly lost.
They continue their own journey, maintaining bonds of affection with
us and our present in ways our physical senses may
not always perceive. His message was one of immense hope.
(37:31):
We are spiritual beings having a human experience here to learn,
to grow, and to express love. The afterlife is simply
the next step in our eternal journey back to the
heart of the Creator, a journey where every experience, every challenge,
and every act of love holds profound purpose. Life truly
(37:54):
is continuous and love is the thread that binds us
across all dementias. We'll be right back with an extraordinary
near death experience. You're listening to Shades of the Afterlife
on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast am Paranormal Podcast Network.
(38:30):
Welcome back to Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain. Next,
I'd like to share with you the near death experience
of Professor Dean Brinson. I'll share the basics with you now,
but you can find his full story on YouTube. It's
about two hours long. Here's how Professor Dean got exposed
(38:51):
to the truth about heaven, and he said it changed
everything he thought he knew. It began like any other day,
Dean a routine hospital checkup, nothing serious, no emergencies, just
a standard appointment. He sat in a wheelchair in the
waiting area, lost in thought, surrounded by the quiet hum
(39:12):
of hospital life. And then, without warning, everything changed. One moment,
he was sitting in the wheelchair, grounded to his body
in the hospital. Next he was rising above it, watching
the scene unfold below with eerie clarity. He saw his
wife speaking softly beside him. He saw nurses moving with
(39:32):
practiced urgency. He saw doctors and white coats focused on
charts and machines. At first, it all felt distant, like
a vivid, surreal dream, but deep within he sensed the truth.
This wasn't a dream. It was real, more real than
anything he had ever known. When his wife realized he
(39:53):
wasn't responding when she was talking to him, she started
shouting for help. Nurses and doctors rushed over. They tried everything,
but nothing could bring him back because he wasn't there anymore.
But by then Dean was already somewhere else, somewhere beyond imagination.
And then, right when he needed him, his teacher appeared.
(40:16):
Years ago, he had promised he would be there when
Dean died, and there he was, smiling, calm, filled with light.
He reached out, and Dean knew everything was going to
be okay. They moved together, side by side. They didn't walk,
they floated. They rose through the hospital ceiling like it
(40:37):
wasn't even there. Gravity didn't matter anymore. The world of doctors,
machines and hospitals faded away behind Dean. Something new was
calling him. As they traveled. Dean asked to see the sun.
He didn't know why. Maybe he thought seeing it from
this side would be different. His teacher laughed and said,
(40:59):
you see the sun every day, it's nothing special here.
He let him look at it, and what Dean saw
was not what he expected. The sun wasn't gold and
warm like it looks from Earth. It was a massive
ball of exploding energy, roaring louder than any thunderstorm. They
continued on and traveled faster than light, faster than anything
(41:22):
Dean could describe. Stars and galaxies flew past them like
little specks. It felt like traveling across forever in just
a moment. After what felt like an instant and eternity
at the same time, they reached something unexpected, a tunnel,
but not like the tunnel from other stories. It wasn't dark,
(41:46):
it wasn't scary. In fact, it radiated warmth, like an invitation.
As they moved closer, soft light poured from within, and
figures began to emerge. Familiar faces smile, familiar eyes that
shimmered with kindness. At first, he couldn't quite place them.
(42:06):
There was a flicker of recognition, just out of reach,
like waking up from a dream. He remembered, but those
weren't strangers. These souls he had known before, long ago,
in other lives, across other times, lives he had completely
forgotten while living on Earth. The memories came rushing back,
(42:28):
like a river breaking through a damn. Suddenly, Dean wasn't
just the person he thought he was. He was much
much more. But just as he thought he understood everything,
another truth surfaced. Each face, each soul that crossed his
path carried a special connection to him, a bond that
(42:51):
had survived time itself. Some had been friends, others teachers,
and a few had even been family members from lives
long past. The love and recognition between them were instant, loving,
and overwhelming. At that moment, Dean understood that true relationships
(43:13):
never die, They just sleep deep inside the soul until
souls meet again. In that moment, this understanding didn't just
comfort him, it filled his heart in a way he
had never known before. He wasn't alone, and he had
never truly been alone. Every soul he had loved walked
(43:35):
with him lifetime after lifetime. This is something most humans
forget on earth, but it's something the soul never forgets.
Dean had lived hundreds, even thousands of years before, and
now he remembered it all. Leaving the tunnel, they entered
a world that words can barely describe. Imagine the most
(43:58):
beautiful place you've ever seen, a beach, a mountain, a forest,
then make it a thousand times more colorful, Make everything
glow with light, make every tree, river and mountain alive
singing a song you can feel inside your heart. That's
(44:19):
what it was like. This was the astral world, a
place more real than Earth, more full of life, more
full of love. You didn't talk with your mouth, you
talked with your mind. You didn't need to move your
eyes to see. You could see everything around you all
at once, and everyone was there. Everyone was beautiful, not
(44:43):
just on the outside but inside too. There was no hate,
no anger, only peace. Another amazing thing about this world
was how you learned things. On Earth, you had to
work hard to learn, reading, studying, and practicing. In the
ass world, you simply just knew. Look at a flower
(45:03):
and suddenly you understand everything about it. Look at a
star and you know how it was born. Knowledge wasn't hidden,
it was everywhere ready to be absorbed. It felt like
all the mysteries of the universe were open to anyone
willing to look. Even the smallest blade of grass held
(45:24):
the wisdom of the ages. You didn't have to ask questions,
you just had to listen with your soul. Everything spoke
to you, not in words, but in feelings and energy.
The answers were already there, waiting patiently for you to
notice them. In that world, curiosity wasn't a struggle. It
(45:47):
was as natural as breathing and learning. It felt like
coming home to a truth you already knew deep inside.
And then Dean realized something even crazier. Many of the
great inventions on Earth, airplanes, rockets, computers, were not really
invented here. The ideas came from this higher world. Some
(46:09):
souls remembered tiny pieces of what they had seen before birth,
and with great effort, they brought those ideas into our world.
Music filled this entire world, not just from instruments or voices,
but from everything. The trees sang, the flowers hummed, even
(46:31):
the mountains made deep, peaceful sounds. It wasn't like any
music on earth. It was the music of life itself,
the music of existence. Dean could feel it in every
part of him. It was like being wrapped in the warmest,
kindest hug you could ever imagine. And then he understood
(46:53):
this music wasn't just for beauty. It was the very
heartbeat of creation. As they traveled further, his teacher explained
something important. Our souls are trapped. We are stuck inside
three bodies, the physical body you see in the mirror,
the astral body you enter when you dream or die,
(47:14):
and the causal body, which holds your mind and thoughts.
Each body is like a prison, keeping us from remembering
who we truly are. The real journey is to break
free from these prisons. When you break free, you return
to your true home, which is a place of pure light,
pure love, pure joy. Dean wanted to go further, he
(47:36):
wanted to see it all, but his teacher said no,
not yet. He told him he had to go back.
He had a job to do, he had to share
what he had seen. And just like that, Dean woke
up back in the hospital. Doctors were working over him,
thinking their machines had saved him. But Professor Dean knew
(47:58):
the truth. He had seen heaven, and it was more beautiful,
more real, and more filled with love than anything he
could have ever imagined. Heaven isn't a fantasy, it isn't
just a nice story. It's real. It's alive, and every
single one of us is meant to find it. We
are not just bodies walking around. We are souls on
(48:21):
a long, beautiful journey back home, and once you see
the truth, you can never forget it. Powerful words. I
hope you've enjoyed our episode today. Certainly common threads between
Edgar Casey's words and Professor Dean's words. Remember doctor Raymond
(48:41):
Moody who coined the term near death experience, Well, that
was back in nineteen seventy five, and now we're celebrating
fifty years of having that term n DEE. He originally
documented over a thousand cases of people clinically dead before resuscitation,
and many described floating above their bodies, just like Professor Dean,
(49:05):
moving through tunnels of light and encountering beings, especially deceased relatives.
Of course, we know just before we pass away, decease
relatives and loved ones come to be by our bedside,
carrying us back home. There is something so curious about
those three bodies that the teacher of Professor Dean's showed him.
(49:26):
And what do we need to do to escape those
bodies and connect with this greater reality. I have a
sneaky suspicion that it is learning to quiet the busy mind,
to have love in our hearts, to trust, and we
can be reconnected with all that is one thing's for sure,
A great and wonderful adventure awaits us all. Remember, come
