Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ooh seven. I like to keep it real simple. All right,
it's about that time. For the first time ever, I
officially have a couple on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
When where.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
One of my favorite couples outside of you know, Josh
and myself, but one of my favorite couples, the theater couple.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
We're here. We made it.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
We made it so exciting. If you guys have not
seen them, you must be living under a rock. But
they do all of these really really cool fun things.
The first time I think I saw you guys, it
might have been the ladder.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Oh boy, yeah, it.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Might have been the ladder. What is that officially called?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Well, ladder climb, the Climate Challenge at Cedar Point.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Okay, the climb challenge. And I was like, oh, I
don't care where you're at, at what park, at anywhere.
If someone is doing that ladder, like, you gotta stay
and watch to see whether or not they're gonna win.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah. Everyone, everyone at Cedar Point stops, no matter if
it's a little kid or your own man or whatever.
Everyone stops as they walk by when somebody's on there,
going this will only take five seconds in my life
because they're going to fall for sure, and then they
go I could do it, and then they walk on.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
I would want to if I was I would want
to work at that.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Oh me too.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
That would be the one game I would love to
work at. Yeah, because you would side people up like
there are in no way that they're getting no and
then okay, maybe that one can do it.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Most employees don't even watch. They just take the money
and they go, yep, here's the rules, and they just
look go like this because they know that they're not
even going to hear a buzzer go off, because there's
no chance that you're gonna win.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
It's so hard that Yeah, that would definitely be one. Okay, well,
let's do you guys want to introduce yourselves to everyone?
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Sure you want to go first? Go ahead, ladies.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
First, my name's Caitlin. I'm half of cedar couple. I
don't know what else to say what.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
I say, so that's fine. And who's the other half?
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Do you want to talk? Rady? Hello, nice to meet you.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
At the same time, the half of the couple rewind.
How did you guys meet?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Oh boy, oh Brady slid into the face.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
DM. What was the DM? I need to know?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
It was something along the lines of I had my
dog Aurora at the time, and he said I will
steal your puppy somehow. I don't remember how you worded it,
but it was along the lines of I'm going to
steal your puppy a roll.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
It was something like, if you wake up tomorrow and
your husky is gone, please know that she's living in
a better place and that she's perfectly safe.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
That was it, And instally you were like, I better
befriend this guy because dog.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I read that message and I thought about it, and
I thought about it for a few minutes, and I
was like, do I respond to this? Do I not
respond to this? Do I respond to this? And I
decided I have to respond with this because he needs
to know that that's my dog and he's not taking
my dog. And so I I don't remember what I
said back, You're not stealing my dog. It's as simple
as that.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
If you steal my dog, you're gonna you know, die
a thousand deaths, serve burn on the surface of the
sun or something like that. Was there was there was
you by your tonail. Yeah, there was a hidden threat
in there too, just to let me know that Lis
and you won't survive the outcome of this. If you
steal my dog, you needed to know. I didn't. But
that turned into an entire day of conversation, was turned
(03:09):
into three days, which turned into our first date, which
turned into our second, which turned into you moving in
a month later and then two years later married.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yep. Yeah, the conversation just kind of flowed naturally on.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Facebook a month later together, you guys are like, we're
doing this.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
You knew, Yeah, we knew, Yeah WEEO will say.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Stuff to us all the time, like, oh my gosh,
like you know, you know, just you guys should be
married already, or you should do this, or you should
so like everyone has their opinion. I'm a firm believer
in you know, you know, yeah, oh absolutely, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
It was.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
We both had extremely similar stories, fresh out of relationships.
You know. She was moving out of her toxic relationship.
I was moving out of mine. I moved back with
my parents, you know, while I looked for a new house,
bought my house the same time she bought her house.
Then we met a month later and everything just clicked
and and yeah, we just had similar back, similar stories, and.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
We had to decide which house are we keeping where
are we moving? Which one are we going to live in?
Speaker 4 (04:06):
No?
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Were you guys close to each other? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yeah, we were like one town apart from you.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah, ten minutes apart.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Oh wow, yeah, well, good job of sliding into the
right DMS.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
It was just someone close. It was profound even know
what wait, how did did you?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Were you guys like mut You weren't mutuals? You just
randomly saw her on face?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, we had we had mutual friends, but we weren't
actually like following each other or anything like that.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Which you're like, dang, look at this girl on that dog.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, Facebook that day said boom, And she was just
sitting there with her beautiful husky, which is now And.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
If you guys have not seen some they are adorable.
She is gorgeous. You guys have to go checking them out,
as I mean, makes sense on why you slid in. Yeah,
of course we get it, we get it. How is
the dog still with us? Yep?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Okay's And we added another one to the family.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
And now we have the second puppy, Neptuneo, and.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Aurora is now a daddy's girl. And so ultimately, you know,
I won. And the Facebook message that we started off
has now come full so and is now true.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Okay, so I'm living the same. Josh took Kodak back
home with him for five and a half days, and
when he came like a week ago, Kodak would not
leave him alone. So I was like, why are you
take him back with you? So he takes him back.
Now I'm like, he's gonna be so excited. He was excited,
but now he lays on his side of the bed.
(05:23):
He like, I'm like, Hadak come here? And he runs
me for one second and he goes to Josh and
like hugs him. I'm like, okay, so I don't have
a dog anymore. I think you're gonna have to give a
second one.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Kodaks now Josh's dog.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
We have that ongoing joke and it happens in the
livestream too, where it's like, you know, when did you
guys get Aurora? And I always chime in right away
and I go, you know when I was raising her
from a baby. Oh my, it was really hard to
train her.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Terrible because she actually was a lot of work to train.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
She was so easy and she nothing makes her rage
more and the chat knows it too. In our live stream,
they're going ooh, or somebody will say it, knowing that
it just gets under her skin. Well, you know when
Brady was training Aurora and she as you see her go,
we got to reset. I'm so mad. I don't not
(06:11):
that bad. But yeah, it's been like our ongoing joke
from the beginning. Like you know, it was just she
never really chewed on things. She was really easy to
potty train, and I.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Guess she was like by the time you came around. Okay,
so you you guys move in, you get married. How
long have you guys been married?
Speaker 3 (06:28):
One full year a little over. I think in May
we got married for three It was our one year anniversary, so.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
A month or a year and five months, four months
something like that.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
So you guys lived together during COVID or we did? Okay,
how how was that? Was that a true test?
Speaker 2 (06:43):
No? I mean listen, we do live streaming full time
on social media together. So I mean, even my boss
when I left my full time job, was like, hey,
the door's always open. When you know you get sick
of your wife being home every day with her, you
can always come back. And I'm not even joking. That's
literally what he said. Yeah, He's like, I know me,
if I was home with my wife all the time,
that I'd be looking for an outlet to go somewhere else.
(07:05):
And I'm going, well, you probably don't be married, buddy, Yeah,
that's sad. I didn't say that. I was just like, well,
you know, hopefully you have a great divoce lawyer because
you're on your way. But no, we've just always clicked
and and you know, she makes me better and I
hopefully make her better, and we are just the epitome
(07:25):
of polar opposites and how those opposites attract. Where I
am the put me out in front of people, give
me that microphone. My parents will always say, I'm you know,
I'm that person. And she's the in the background, not
the most social, you know, has some anxiety around that.
And I reel her out of her shell and she
drags me out of my Peter Pan stage sometimes. And
(07:48):
that's why it's just the perfect example of why it works.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
I love that so much. So you guys move in before.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
COVID, Yes, before COVID.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, okay, so before COVID. Then you guys are hanging out.
When did your social media stuff start after COVID?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
November twenty twenty one was our first. The end the
last day of November twenty twenty one was our first
live stream. But you know, we had well, I mean,
if I back up just a little bit, we kind
of went through, like every couple does, a kind of
a rough time where I was going to work, I
was coming home, I was playing video games. We would
kiss good night and that was it. And you know, luckily,
(08:29):
instead of leaving, she said we need to have a talk.
And that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
That takes still a lot. So I commend you for
that because most people are just like forget it, or
they'll just be like pissed off and they just harbor
it and then it ends up.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Or they find what's missing in someone else and that's
where you know, you know, as we were talking me,
that's where the cheating comes in. Or you know, they
just you know, separate themselves from relationship to the point
where it's like I've already found somebody else. I'm out,
Their emotions shut off and they leave, right. She didn't
do that. We sat down, we had a talk and
we said, okay, let's make a change.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
I love you so much for that, like honestly, because
I just don't see that the communication, the just vulnerability
of hey, this is hurting me and we need to
fix this. I mean we are Josh's in here, and
he can probably talk a little bit too. It. We
are so open about everything because in the past, if
you're not and you haven't been, you just see things
(09:23):
crumble exactly. So, knowing that how old are you.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Guys, I'm twenty one plus twenty years experience.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Here, I was gonna say nineteen.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Wow, okay, I'm twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
I'll be twenty nine in less than a month.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Okay, So I mean that's learning that at younger ages
is absolutely freaking amazing.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I absolutely believe that communication is the foundation for any
good relationship. You have to have that open communication where
you can just talk to your partner about whatever issue is,
like deep down in your soul, you have to talk
about that or it will just internally tear you apart.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
And luckily she didn't, and so I took that upon myself.
I lost ninety pounds in five months. We then went
back to Cedar Point because I was at a point
where it didn't fit on the rides, and then I could.
So we went back and found that we loved it.
Then I started to play the games and she had
hours and hours of content at the end of the
season and she said, I'm going to start a TikTok
And I said, what's TikTok? Not even kidding?
Speaker 1 (10:23):
And uh wait, you were a gamer and you were
just like I'm staying in the gaming world. I don't
know what TikTok is.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Well, I mean, it was just one of those things.
I just wasn't into the social media stuff. So you know,
I had, you know, but you had did.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
You have your own account kitin? Yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
I don't known TikTok since covid, because covid was when
I started TikTok. But I never like made videos, never
posted anything, just had it sitting there and would scroll occasionally.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Okay, and I had.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Just watched I'm forty one, so you know, none of
the new stuff I was getting into and look at.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
She said, Peter Pan over here.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, we should put you.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
On TikTok smarty Pants over here. We'd like her.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
She said, what are we going to be called? And
and with hesitation, I said Cedar couple and she goes,
that's it, And so we made it took twenty eight
days to get a first thousand followers, and we went
live at the end of November twenty twenty one. Ninety
six thousand people were in the stream watching while we
were davenbusters Wow at one time and said we might
have something here, and a year and a half later,
here we are. That's so amazing on simply Savage, our
(11:20):
first lithheart radio podcast, not even sponsor. This is your
first podcast, our first one. Whatever that the nerves and
hence like what are we doing? What are these? What
are these?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
We were having this conversation beforehand because they're like, okay,
is there a script? Do what I need to know?
I'm like no, no, no, no. And I was telling
them how some of like the toughest people you would think,
are like, oh, it's no sweat whatever, come in and
they're so nervous. Like the one person I was telling
you guys earlier had sweat stains, was like put a
dip in, was like literally like rocking in his chair.
(11:50):
I'm like, it is so okay, Like you're fine, It's
all gonna be fine.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
It's not live. I mean that's the difference, right. So
live streaming has trained us for I mean, this is recorder.
If I screw up, you just say cut, let's not
use that, We'll start again.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Live streaming you don't have that. You know, there's no
cut button. It's whatever you're saying goes out in the world.
And yes, and so.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
When we do live on the radio, yeah, on Mondays,
on Savage My Mondays, when we do the lives, it's
like you've got regulations, you've got fines, you've got some
things like you cannot you have to make sure that
you cannot say. So we do a lot of like
pre recording, so that way if there's any edits, you know,
so you can filter me a little bit.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Can I tell our funny story? You probably know you
probably know what I'm gonna say. Maybe you don't. So
I'm saying this for the live sham of here too.
So I asked my first question was is there a script?
And she was like, no, it's all you know, We're
just going to talk and it's gonna be fun.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
You know.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Sometimes you know there's some guidelines and I talk to people,
you know, if I know they're going to be controversial.
But I don't think I'm gonna have a problem with
you guys, and I went, oh, you're saying I'm not savage?
Is that fine? Brady's putting on his big boy pants
into this podcast and we're gonna lay, I'll show you savage. Okay,
get ready, what's he gonna tell me?
Speaker 1 (13:04):
The stuffed animals are laced with?
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, we secretly have a you know, for every you know,
stuffed animal that you purchased from us, you also get.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
He's like laundering stuffed animals. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, don't spread that out. That's not true.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
We're kidding. You guys are kidding.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Wash juice, Oh my god, my gime, let's not talk
about plus juice that's come to our stream if you
want to figure out what that is.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Okay, So you guys play all these games. People are
super vested. I'm bested anytime I'm scrolling and ie, you guys,
I'm like, all right, what are they gonna win? Now?
Like the little softball toss or because we've all tried
these games at some point, So what made you say
I am going to be like the best at these games?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
I mean, if I'm honest, I saw a video of
a guy who I mean, and I looked down and
my went, if he can win this. I can win this.
I mean he looked like he had he looked like
he had no business being on the ladder climb, and
I went, oh my gosh, and he yeah, and he
made it. It made it look easy. And I went,
what the heck? That guy's like two hundred and eighty
(14:09):
pounds and and he's wearing like a tank top, and
what's going on? So I literally for a month studied
the video hand placement leg placement. You know, I was
an engineer before social media, so I mean my analytical
brain started just you know, I had Eagles mc square
Noll coming across the screen to my mind and I'm going, okay,
I can figure this out. And I just washed it
over and over and over and over again and then said,
(14:31):
you know what, I think I can do it. I
think I'm ready to try it. And you know, I
didn't win the first time. It didn't win the second time.
I didn't win the fiftieth time. But after some blood,
some scrapes and bruises, I made it up the very
first time. You know how we'll always can remember that moment.
We still have that prize because you know, we keep
the prizes that are like, have you know moments of
joy for us? You know, yeah, and I looked, I
(14:52):
mean we were both like, yes, oh my god, I
can't believe it. And then I was just hooked. So
then it moved on to bankball, Can I win? Bankeball?
Found a video washed it slow over and over?
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Are so you just kept doing your research on it?
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah? Absolutely, all the games can be won, and there
is just science and physics behind it. They are definitely
waited to where someone like yourself walks up and says,
you only have to get one ball into that bucket.
I can do that. And then you throw your first
ball and it comes flying back at and you go.
You just see the gears turning, like, oh no, maybe
(15:24):
maybe I can't win.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Maybe I'm actually really good at these You saying, hey, right,
you're gonna throw the ball on a bucket and you're
gonna suck. That's basically what I heard.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
No, I got you. So you've taken the bait and
I'm reeling you and you don't even know it. Yeah. So,
I mean, it just was one of those things where
I said, I'm gonna learn how to do it. I'm
gonna practice. I think I can. I can get this
down and and we've built our social media around these
Carnival games are definitely weighted against you to win, but
with a little bit of luck and some practice, you
(15:54):
can win two and be.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Trust He's got these eyes that right now at me
like you can do it too, Like he feels really
sorry for me.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Do you know how many people have come to Cedar
Point and said, I've watched your videos and I'm going
to win it today. Some of our mods that came
to our mantrip, so many of them walked away with
prizes and they've never played banketball, but they've been watching
us play. Oh that's four months. Gordon comes to mine.
Do you remember Gordon. Gordon was a guy who came
up and was like, oh my god, Cedar Cup, I've
(16:22):
been watching videos. I just want the bucket's phone over
there because I've been watching yourself. I'm about to play banketball.
And I said, well, hold on, I'm going to play,
and if I win, you can have the rest of
my bucket of balls and we'll see because you get,
you know, fifteen balls in your buck whatever. I won
in the first four so I gave Gordon the rest
of it. And he won in his second toss and
(16:44):
he turned to me. I mean it was just as
awesome moment as the family then you know, went over
here and the kids got this fifteen foot snake wrapped
around him and they're taking pictures and it's just I mean,
those are those are the moments that that we make
as core memories of, like oh my gosh, like or
you know, giving that plush to that kid that is
four foot tall and the plush is six foot tall
and they're going, you know, there's yeah, the memories that
(17:07):
we hope that they can.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
I love you guys because I was about nine and
I played the cup game where you toss it in
and like whatever color, and I toss it in and
I won, and the pink one at the time it
was pink, and you won this giant stuffed animal. And
I still have a picture of my little short shorts
and high tube socks holding this giant bear. It was
like a bear off a wish. It wasn't like Yogi bear, right,
(17:31):
it was like whatever. But I still have that. I
got this big old gap tooth like snaggle tooth whatever like,
but I still that is my favorite picture. And I
remember tossing that in winning the biggest prize. Everyone around like,
oh my gosh, Oh my gosh. So that's where my
love came in. And now I even take my son
when we go to King's Island. He's like, do you
want to play games? So I'm like, heck, you were
playing games today.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Let me load the car up.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Let me go ahead and load that up and get
as many as we want. So when he plays, I
played too, just to just see if I can win
that big old prize.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Again, your gosh, and we get a little bit of
that feeling of being a kid again. Yeah, and we
take it for granted because there are a lot of
families that go there and the prices have not, you know,
not gone down for those prizes, so you know you
have it's it's definitely designed. The kid walks up and goes, mom, dad,
I want to play that, and it's like, oh my gosh,
this kid's about to just throw away because it's.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Like Pokemon or whatever. It's not at that time. They
know what they're doing. So our marketing team knows that
those are.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
The ones that we look for. That if I see
that kid going up there and the parents, you can
tell they're just like they're hesitant and they go okay,
and they just know that the you know, the chances
the kid are going to win or.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Something like a little superhero.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Those the ones that I love to walk up to
me like because you see and they they don't win
and they want to play again, but they don't realize
that that's money, that's that the parents are paying again,
Like no, come on, let's go ride a ride. I
love running up and giving that that kid a prize
and just seeing that just yeah, turning what started out
or what could have been a bad day into an
amazing moment and a great rest of the day there.
So yeah, we love doing that for sure.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
That's so much fun. I would love seeing that. We
I'm trying to think of what the stuffed animals were,
but we had won a ton and my son saw
a kid and he was like, what is that Okay?
I'm like, that is absolutely okaycause I think we did
like ten balls, like ten buckets of the balls or not,
Like it was stupid. There's no reason we should have
played that much, but we just he kept winning and
(19:16):
it was like fine, whatever, So we just kept going
and kept going and he had all these stuffed animals,
and of course I'm holding the majority of them, right,
And he ended up giving it to a kid and
the kid just lit up. So it's like seeing their
faces led up. It's just that little trickle of kindness.
It's gonna keep.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Something so simple makes the kids whole entire day and
makes the parents day because they're not They're not having
to I want to say, deal, but having to deal
with an upset kid because they couldn't win. The parents
know they well they can't win either, right, so it's
it just helps everybody.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
King's Island has switched a lot of it to It's
ten dollars, you win, no matter what, and I'm mad same.
I'm like, I would rather win it on my own merit.
Don't give me a bag of little have you gu
seen little potato chips?
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yes, potatoes, stupid butterflies?
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah, I mean it's stitched together.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
With charge more. But we're gonna give away a prize
every time, no charge. Let's make it a skill game.
We'll be there to play all the time.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
No, you know what I'm saying, O kid, you lost,
take your ass over there. You don't get a participation trophy.
We're a little stuff. D just go you'll lost. That's life.
It happens. If my son loses, I want to, like Matimba,
I want to sweat that right out. Nope, he didn't
earn that prize. I'm sorry we didn't win. We're gonna
go somewhere else. That's how I feel about it.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Many times we talked about that.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
We love skill games.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Love skill games.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, like test your skill. You don't get to walk
up and be like, here's my money.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah, give me a prize.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Anyway, that's my thought on that one, for sure. I
thought on that. Okay, so you guys have blown up
on social media. Everyone loves watching you guys hang out
and do your stuff. What's next for you? That's a
good question because you you go to Cedar Point, you
play the games, you also stream. You guys are gamers.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah, well you have to do some. So we talked
about a little bit, but we won Best Variety Act
twenty twenty two on TikTok. So, uh, you know, we
just do a little bit of everything. So we do legos,
we do arcades, we do Cedar Point in the games,
we do travel, we do food stuff cooking. Yeah, so
(21:19):
many of us. I've had gaming like.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Your wildest dreams and imagination. What would you do next?
Or who would you collab with?
Speaker 2 (21:27):
I know, do you want to go yours? I know mine?
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yeah, you can both have one.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
We'll see if we match.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Okay, I should make you, guys write it down.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
No, I kind of like see inside your brain.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
She is looking really deep.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
She's staring straight through men say the ongoing the joke
that we have is you're either thinking about what I'm
going to say or you're nervous about what I'm going
to say.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Yeah, that one right there.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yeah, oh my god, what is he going to say?
That's going to be inappropriate this time? No, I know
what everyone's going to shame Brady on.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I know.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
One of the the things that we've kind of both
briefly talked about was to travel in the future. He's
talked about he there's thirteen Cedar Fair Parks and then
the one up in Canada too, So he's talked about
maybe renting like an RV and taking the dogs along
with us and just traveling to all the different thirteen
Cedar Fair parks throughout the US. Okay, I think that
(22:21):
would be.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
The meaning we have a winner.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
That's exactly what I was going to say, should get married.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
I know, it's almost like we're compatible, are RV with
the puppies traveling around to all the different amusement parks,
not just Cedar Fair spreading out from that because Cedar
Fair may have thirteen parks, but there are so so
many diverse parks.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Putty show for you guys, and the reality show of that, Oh.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
My gosh, I would I don't know if anybody would watch,
but I would love to do it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
People love you guys, absolutely, they would.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Be she would hate every minute of it.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
But so let's talk about that. You have anxiety? Is
it just meeting new people? Is it being in crowds?
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Is it?
Speaker 1 (22:59):
What kind of anxieting?
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Mostly just the social like being in the crowd aspect.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Yeah, like you don't want to talk, or you feel uncomfortable, or.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
I just literally close up into like a little shell.
Usually it's yeah, I get like the chest pain, I
get the tight chest and then I literally start sweating
my hands do a little shaky thing. Okay, yeah have.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
You have you always had that? Yeah, but you can remember.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, it's I feel like the older I'm getting. It's
actually worsening, oh okay, which my dad always says that's
not normal, it should be the opposite.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
But I see a comfort that he gives you. Yes,
Like I can just tell that he's able to help out.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
He's the reason that I was even able to go
live on TikTok in the first place. I would have
never been able to hit the live button because even
just like the aspect of being on live with a
thousand people watching, that's that's a type of social interaction
that I'm not used to, and so I would have
never been able to actually hit the go live button
without him being there by my side to do that.
I'm and definitely at cedar point. I don't know if
(24:00):
I would even be able to like be at cedar
point by myself without him. Honestly, he is. He is
my rock, and he is the reason that I'm able
to expand outside of my little social shell that i'm.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
It's crazy what love does, right, Yeah, brings out some
different different side for sure, And kudos to you, and
I respect you a ton because I had anxiety for
a little while my dad had passed away and my
first divorce, Like in between that divorce, it was like
Oh my god, I failed. I'm like super type a
college athlete, you know, just I never really had failed
(24:33):
failed at anything that large before. So having to make
a choice of getting divorced coming back home, I had
severe anxiety. I lived in Chicago, and so I got
to Indianapolis and I couldn't go from Indianapolis Cincinnati. It
was like, I'm gonna have to go home and I'm
gonna face everybody there. Everyone knows I failed, Like I
don't know what to do. And it was just the
thought of leaving, the thought of driving, the thought of whatever.
(24:56):
It was paralyzing. So for someone that doesn't stands, someone
that hasn't had anxiety before, you trying to explain to that,
Like people are like, it's fine, just go. I'm like,
it's not that easy.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
We've had We've had that conversation.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
It's been a learning process for me because I have
a lot.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Of patience though, which I give you props I have.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Everybody. Did everybody on the live stream hear that? Did
you all hear that? Patience?
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Just just for right now, for right now. You're wearing
on hers right now, thank you?
Speaker 3 (25:25):
He is on the record. Oh my god, I'm like
the ADHD. So we are literally complete opposite. I'm just
riddled with anxiety and he is just off the walls
all the time, can't focus on anything.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
I love it. But you both are understanding and you
can tell like you reel him in and he helps
you stay like grounded and focus.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I absolutely love that. But it is hard, though, So
I give you kudos, very hard one. I give you
kudos for learning the anxiety piece, and you kudos because
sometimes you're like Jesus Christ, can you just shut up
for one second? Or and I reel you in because
You're talking seventeen thousand things and I'm just focusing on
the one.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
It's more like, yep, I married him. I mean that
that's something that you've said made. Yeah, that's That's what
I have to deal with every day. I can remember
when I was first trying to wrap my brain around
the anxiety thing. And it comes down to something as
simple as she was comfortable going to McDonald's because she
(26:25):
was comfortable with that menu. But if you asked her
to go to a Wendy's, I can't do that because
just the stress of driving up to that drive through,
you know, you know, and something like that and I couldn't.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
And I'm going, well, someone like you is just like like, yeah,
call yourself, Peter Panla, You're just everywhere, and so that
makes sense. But I, like I said, kudos to you
for being patient listening to her, because the communication piece
is huge on that too, because you might think, oh shit,
what did I do today and she's like, no, I'm
just anxious because I don't want to do this, this
or this or this makes me uncomfortable. So I talk
(27:00):
about all the time just being open as much as
you possibly can. That helps relationships so much because if
she didn't say I'm I'm anxious right now, I can't
do this, you would be like, oh, she hates me,
or she doesn't want to go in public with me,
or she doesn't like me, does she does not want
to be seen with me? Like your brain would go
as an ADHD would probably go like seventeen directions at
one time, and it would all be about you and
(27:20):
not her. So kudos to both of you. I just
I adore you both. And it sounds like you guys
have it figured out with the communication side.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
I mean, it's still it's a struggle, just like everybody else.
And I think that's a big part of the draw
of our social media is we don't sit there and
put up a front that our relationship is perfect, but
we we go like right, absolutely asked.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Us, They've asked us if you ever argued, have you
ever seen Heather matter You're seen him mad? And I'm
like yeah, And he's like, well, I've seen her at
level forty seven. I'm like yes, he yes, yes, yes, yeah,
And that's important for him to know that before we
move on, like to the you know, to that next step.
So anyone that's on social media, whether it's you know,
(28:01):
Facebook or Instagram or whatever, and they portray that everything
is squeaky clean and perfect, they are probably the most
miserable ones.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
Inside could be absolutely yeah, And that's just kind.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Of how I feel about it. And if you're on
live and everything's always always always perfect, No, I mean
there's days that come on I look rough. I'm like,
I'm just me. I'm tired, I'm constipated.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
I'm like it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
I'm like, there's shit going on.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Shring I forgot all my hair stuff at home. I
don't have my braive hairspray. I'm like, they make parade hairspray,
and she's like, I'm going to wear this hat, then
wear the hat. We're just gowing up. It's okay, anything
to make you feel more comfortable. But we've you know,
we've come a long way as far as our live
streams where I can just tell and where I need
to take over. You know, a lot of times she
just wants me out in front of the camera and
she's behind and she does an amazing job of shouting
(28:47):
out the chat, you know, thanking our gifters and and
but there are times where I just look at her
and she looks at me, and she gives me the signal,
and I just know that she needs to walk away
for a second.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
So we're able to Yeah, I mean that is because
you're able and the signs, like you said, you're able
to figure out, Okay, she needs this. I've been with
her long enough to know, and I've been with him
long enough to put my hand over his mouth, like
you know what I mean, Like you guys.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Just can't say that that should be that should be
an emoji. I love that.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Okay. So now we're at the point where it's the
Savage seven, and the Savage seven is where we ask
seven rapid fire questions. Okay, and you guys get one
skip okay, Okay, he's putting his chapstick on, he's getting ready.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
You got a lube up before anything important happens, so.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Well yeah, sometimes? Okay, here we go, all right, first one,
first question, you can both okay, perfect.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Biggest fear spiders?
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Oh, I don't know what my biggest fear is. Honestly,
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
If she doesn't have one in this kid way, do
you think.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
You know her being in a room with a camera
crew by yourself or kind of like you experienced a
TikTok studio?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Okay, like just people in general. That's my biggest here,
all right, Next question, bucket list. Something on your bucket list?
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I would be the Grand Canyon. It's such a stupid one.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
I don't do that. That's not stupid.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
I would love to go there someday.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
Just this okay.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Sitting down and having a meal with Gordon Ramsey. I
don't know why, but he is.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Wait, would you cook the meal for him? Okay? I
wouldn't either, friend, I would not either know.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
I mean someone could cook for us or he could
cook for me. That would be ideal. But I would
just love to pick his brain about you know, where
he came from, because he has such a diverse pass
of being a soccer player. I'm so sorry a football player, Gordon.
I will never make that mistake again, you know, and
and his humble beginnings to building an empire of his stuff,
(31:00):
and I would just yeah, I would love to pick
his brain and find out is he really like that
or because the best moments are when you have that
little like Gordon really cares about the person on the
show and he's not just you know, pissing vinegar all
the time.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
No, No, I think Gordon would roast anyone at.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
A tame Maybe that could be all right.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Next question, who out of the two of you is
better at the games? Do you think? Rady? I've seen
you play some know.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
It depends on what game we're playing.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Which one do you think you're better at? Caitlin m machines?
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Okay, yeah, Caitlyn's definitely better at claw machines. Anything that's
that's physical or throwing, I'm better at.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
You're better at? What about the latter?
Speaker 2 (31:41):
But I can't really even say that either because sometimes,
and it's more often than not, she gets her little
noodle arm throw and it does better than I mean.
She calls her that, so I'm not She calls at
the noodle arm throw, Oh my lord, everyone over here.
I'm just getting canceled right now. This is it, this
is the.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Moment to see her friend.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
She calls it that. But she gets up and she
makes the cutest like like that and it goes way
off to the right and hits a clown on down
the clown and I'm I have to I'm up there
lining it up. I'm jose and Seko and I can't
even yeh.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
I literally say, okay, noodle arms, we can do this today.
And I pumped.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
With their little backpack on. Yeah boom nails it, and she.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Just, you know, she's so adorable, I swear.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Gets her wacky wavy air dancer arms going, I do
you do?
Speaker 1 (32:34):
It's a really long arm.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
You do okay?
Speaker 3 (32:36):
In middle school, my gym teacher called me out for it.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
No, yeah, would they say, yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Don't even remember something about my you have long arms,
And I was.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Just like you, I don't even remember. Oh she remember.
It's just a very deep down to bring that back up.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Question a game that you really hate playing You play it,
but you hate playing it.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Angry Birds, Okay, I have a love hate relationship with
Angerbirds Coin crash Pusher because it takes a goddamn year
for the towers to build and I just can't stand it.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Yeah, I would probably have to agree. If not that
one would probably be down the clown just because my
noodle arms don't like the throwing. That'd be a close second.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
All right, Next one, what's the worst part to go to? Oh,
they got it. I don't want to say it though,
you only get one skip.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Four games or four rides or just all together together.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
You're like, that's like a dirty that is a dirty question.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
I had to sneak one in, So I mean, I'll
say Michigan Adventure.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
So Michigan Adventure is kind of like the forgotten step
child of Cedar Fair. They bought it years ago, but
they have added nothing to it and have no plans
that anything to it, and it's just slowly dying. So yeah,
I would say Michigan Adventure.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
So we're in Ohio, that's right. You know, we don't
really talk about Michigan.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
You do if it's in a negative connotation. Josh is
over here going like, yeah, yeah, as long as you're
Bernie Michigan, you can talk about Michigan, all right.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Next question, what is your worst habit? Okay, you don't
have to answer for him if you don't want to,
or you could, it's totally up to you.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
You want to answer for me, almost wants to for you.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
I don't like to do the ick thing. We never
do pick stuff, So I'm trying my worst habit is
Brady said he's perfect.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Oh, not perfect. I'm just trying to think.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Neither of us are perfect.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
I'm trying to think what my worst habit might be.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
I know I have a lot of bad habits. I'm
trying to pinpoint the worst.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
Which way would you like to break? And habbit you
would like to break? I might have stumped them.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yeah, stumped. I honestly can't think of a habit that
I want to break. I mean, I used to smoke
and then I quit that. I used to vape. I
quit that.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Oh awesome.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Taco Bell is probably my worst habit.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Josh with you.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
I'm still sorry, Taco Bell sponsor. I still I'd love
to work with you. Bring back the chili cheese brito. Yeah,
but yeah, one.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
I feel like one would be probably my coffee obsession,
because I am really bad about drinking coffee, but I
know it wrecks my stomach, so I just get super
nauseous after I drink coffee, So I would probably.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
So we need to stop on the coffee.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Everyone in chat over here on so we are live
streaming too. Everyone in chat is saying that my biggest
habit is just one more. So I lose the game
and I cannot walk away one more time, and they
say I'm the king of one more.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
Is that only for games or is that in life too?
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (36:01):
That's I mean that's when we're playing games.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
That's like that could be good for you. Kaylen boom.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
Okay, last question, last question, something you gotta you both
have to answer something you would never eat.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
I ask everybody, what would it?
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Live worms out of the dirt.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
I've done that, Okay on live there. I would break
that habit immediately.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
It's not fun. It's like I go out every morning
and go got it. Let me see what fresh worms
are out for me. But the you know, chat loves
our chat and live stoams love to see me suffer
in a way in the best way. So we've been
sent crickets, spiders, meal worms, h everything under the sun
(37:01):
to eat, and they will attest that. I never back
down from a challenge. So except for the tarantula, I
did not eat that. But I told you guys all
that from the start that if you sent a spider,
I would not eat it.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Okay, so what what is your answer? Something you would
never eat?
Speaker 2 (37:14):
I mean freeze dried spider that can't Yeah, and they make.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Those you guys kept it really PG Okay, well.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
You're saying, would you can I reverse it to you?
Speaker 1 (37:26):
What can you reverse it to me? Something I would
never eat?
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Yeah? Car really all those people that say it's amazing
and you're just like overrated, No, not gonna try it.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
I don't like eating someone's I don't know if I
should say this on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
I know exactly what.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
If I'm not trying to eat eggs of somebody else.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
I mean, if you think about it, that sure, Yeah, okay,
maybe a caviartists made my list too.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
You know that took a turn, all of this.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
You know, I figured we'd get there at some point.
I mean we are savage over that's true.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah, maybe, yeah, I think that might. I haven't tried
it ever, so maybe I just don't need to.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Maybe Capyard is not your thing.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Or next time we all face our fears, and the
next time we come here, no anybody some for you,
and I'll bring the spider for me and we can
face our fear.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
I'll let you go first.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
I don't even know if I could. I couldn't even
open the package when we got it. No, it sat
on the table for a couple of days, and then
I just threw away and so there's like at.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Least open and he said, nope, we got to face
it the other direction, and it turned it the other direction,
so the spider wasn't facing him, and then I.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Took it upside down so I didn't see the spider.
Then I picked up the package and I could feel
the legs.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
I want to get him like a sweatshirt with like
a bunch of spiders on it.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Instantly into the trash gone. I'm so sorry whoever wasted
their money saying that to us. But I warned, you'll
get your meal. Somebody just said, now we're going to
send you fifty Listen.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I absolutely we adore you to. I'm so thankful you
guys drove down. I'm excited to go hang out and
see if I can win some cloud games with you guys.
Caitlin is the master, so I want her to find
a jewelry one somewhere and yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
They have jewelry claus they do.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Okay, let's google that.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Yeah, yeah, we'll find like a car.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
I'm thinking, let's go find one that has like a
car or xbox and crossing.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
You're crossing into casino now, and I don't think I've
ever seen a car car go.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
To the casino. I mean, you could try your hand
at the casino.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
We can't live stream that because of guidelines, but we
could always go.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
And just last time we went, Josh for got his wallet.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Nice work, Josh, I've forgotten my wallet. This is money, yes,
the win win.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
Well, the bad part was is that I forgot my
wallet which had my cards and my ID. Oh yeah,
her mom luckily whatever platinum level, She's like, just stick
with me.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Oh my god, they're they're not gonna we know people here.
I get free steak dinners whenever we go.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
So you guys are going to see us at the casino,
at the claw machine if there happens to be a
claw machine over there. But listen, thank you guys so
so much for coming.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Thank you for having us. This is a yeah. We
we came across your stuff many many, many many months
ago and said, oh my god, she's from Ohio too.
Oh maybe we can make this work, and it just
happen to Yeah. Absolutely, You're such a vibe and so
much fun and so genuine and those are the people
that we surround ourselves with. So thank you.
