Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and seven.
Take a deep, cleansing breath. Feel the clean, fresh air,
rejuvenate your lungs. Exhale slowly, allowing the air to flow
(04:24):
freely throughout your body, restoring and relaxing. You invite the
presence of God as you sleep. Take another deep breath.
Imagine the light of His presence filling your room, warming
your heart, and calming your mind. Breathe in his peace.
(04:47):
Breathe out your stress and anxiety from today. Surrender all
your fears and worries to the Lord. With your next breath,
feel God release you from burdens, relaxing your neck and
shoulders and lightening your heart. Breathe in and out slowly.
(05:10):
Open your mind and heart to hear God's word. Ask
for his truth to comfort you tonight. Allow His voice
to lead you to a safe, secure place where you
can rest peacefully through the night. The Bible reminds us
of all the ways God provides for us and answers
(05:30):
our prayers when we face difficult times. He is always
there to help us and deliver us. Psalm one hundred
and seven from the King James version says Psalm one
O seven from the King James version says, Oh, give
thanks unto the Lord, for he is good for his
(05:52):
mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
and gathered them out of the lands from the east
and from the west, from the north, and from the south,
they wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way. They
found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their
(06:16):
souls fainted in them. Then they cried unto the Lord
in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
And he led them forth by the right way, that
they might go to a city of habitation. Oh that
men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for
his wonderful works to the children of men. For He
(06:38):
satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness,
such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
being bound in affliction and iron. Because they rebelled against
the words of God and condemned the counsel of the
most High. Therefore he brought down their heart with labor.
(06:59):
They felt down, and there was none to help. Then
they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he
saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out
of darkness and the shadow of death, and break their
bands in surrender. Oh, that men would praise the Lord
for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the
(07:20):
children of men, For he hath broken the gates of
brass and cut the bars of iron. Insunder fools. Because
of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat, and they draw
near unto the gates of death. Then they cry unto
the Lord and their trouble, And He saveth them out
(07:42):
of their distresses. He sent his word and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would
praise the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful
works to the children of men, and let them sacrifice
the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
(08:03):
They that go down to the sea in ships that
do business in great waters, these see the works of
the Lord and his wonders in the deep. For He
commandeth and raiseth the stormy winds, which lifteth up the waves.
Thereof they mount up to the heaven. They go down
again to the depths. Their soul is melted because of trouble.
(08:26):
They reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man,
and are at their wits end. Then they cry unto
the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out
of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so
that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad
because they be quiet? So he bringeth them unto their
(08:48):
desired haven. Oh, that man would praise the Lord for
his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children
of men. Let them exalt him also in the congregation
of the people, and praise him in the assembly of
the elders. He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the
water springs into dry ground, a fruitful land into barrenness,
(09:11):
for the wickedness of them that dwell Therein, He turneth
the wilderness into standing water, and dry ground into water springs.
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they
may prepare a city for habitation, and sow the fields
and plant vineyards which may yield fruit of increase. He
(09:31):
blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and
suffereth not their cattle to decrease. Again they are minished
and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow. He poureth
contempt upon princes and causeth them to wander in the
wilderness where there is no way. Yet, setteth He the
(09:52):
pour on high from affliction, and maketh him families like
a flock. The righteous shall see it and retur joice,
and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. Whoso is wise
and will observe these things, even they shall understand the
loving kindness of the Lord. In your distress, you can
(10:15):
cry out to God and he will deliver you. Know
you are never alone. The Lord is always with you,
rescuing you and restoring you with his power and strength.
Find comfort in the mighty hands of the Lord Tonight,
take delight in the word of the Lord. Know his
(10:36):
word fills you with his provision and refreshes you with
his eternal springs of salvation. Know his truth can bring
you out of the darkness and into the light. Know
his salvation breaks you free from the chains of sin
and destruction and into his freedom. Take a deep breath,
(10:58):
be filled with the god goodness of the Lord. Exhale
slowly and release any stress and tension in your body.
Take another deep breath. Be filled with the courage of
the Lord. Exhale slowly and feel his courage empower you
(11:19):
to face life storms in his sovereignty. He has the
power to silence the wind and waves, allowing you to
rest quietly and safely, even during the darkest of nights.
Acknowledge any unconfessed sin before the Lord. Acknowledge any doubts
(11:41):
about putting your trust in him. Ask for his forgiveness.
Ask for him to remind you of his goodness and
faithfulness during times of difficulty. Take a deep breath, Allow
his perfect love and grace to wash over you. Hail slowly,
(12:01):
and surrender any struggles, shame, and skepticism to the Lord.
Know he is faithful to save you and strengthen you.
Rejoice in the power and strength of the Lord. Praise
his mighty deeds. Thank him for the ways he has
provided for you. Thank him for the times when he
(12:22):
has protected you. Think of a person who needs God's
provision tonight. Pray the Lord will turn their time of
need into an abundance as he showers them with his
blessing and favor. Pray they will find rest and satisfaction
in him. Tonight, cry out to the Lord. Lift your
(12:45):
troubles to him. Ask for him to help you and
deliver you. Know he hears your prayers and responds to
your cries for help. Put your trust in Him to night.
Pray for God to give you the opportunity to share
your story with others. Pray your story will bring joy
(13:07):
and comfort to those around you. Pray for God to
fill you with wisdom. Pray you will follow Him all
the days of your life and find peace on his path.
Pray for God to give you the courage in the
midst of the storms of life. Pray He will protect
(13:28):
you and preserve you as you rest in him. Take
a deep breath, Exhale slowly and relax your body. Close
your eyes, and lie down flat on your back. Take
a few deep breaths each time your lung fills completely
(13:49):
with air. Hold your breath for a few seconds, then
exhale and let go of any stress and anxiety that
is still lingering from to day. As your body relaxes,
allow God to fill your heart with his joy and
peace and refresh your mind, body, and soul as you sleep.
